Evening — August 25 — Isaiah 61:10
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom wears a priestly headdress, as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. — Isaiah 61:10True joy is not a reaction to favorable circumstances but a response to the permanent identity God provides. By clothing believers in His own righteousness, He transforms the heart into a vessel of perpetual praise. This internal shift allows the soul to boast in the Lord regardless of external trials.
