- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR Filling
- 0:05Speaker 1: in for Mark.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Here's Ken Rosatto.
- 0:08Speaker 3: And a very good morning to you. The end of
- 0:10Speaker 3: the week is here. Yes, please excuse the frog in
- 0:12Speaker 3: my throat. I was on a plane the other day
- 0:14Speaker 3: and of course everybody around me was hacking up along
- 0:17Speaker 3: and I say, I'm going to get something. I know
- 0:20Speaker 3: it so with me. It settles in my vocal cords.
- 0:23Speaker 3: It always has And don't worry about it doesn't hurt,
- 0:26Speaker 3: feels fine. It just sounds kind of weird. So I
- 0:28Speaker 3: don't think. Who is this. It's Brenda Vicaro coming to
- 0:31Speaker 3: you live anyway, It's good to be here. Six days
- 0:34Speaker 3: till Christmas. You could feel the spirit in the air.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Three more days of Hanukkah. Mark is off today. Hope
- 0:40Speaker 3: you enjoy your time off. Brother. Ken Rosatto in and
- 0:43Speaker 3: we have a lot to talk about. First off, did
- 0:45Speaker 3: you guys hear about what is going on in Los Angeles?
- 0:49Speaker 3: It is unbelievable now with the fires that they had
- 0:52Speaker 3: there earlier in the year. Apparently firefighters wanted to go
- 0:57Speaker 3: in to investigate this one of the mountain where there
- 1:01Speaker 3: was smoke, but because of environmentalist wackos who control that
- 1:07Speaker 3: part of California. The California State Parks had restricted firefighting
- 1:13Speaker 3: operations in an area that is designated an avoidance area.
- 1:18Speaker 3: See because in the mind of a liberal environmentalist, In
- 1:22Speaker 3: an environmentalist brain, you don't matter. Humans come ninety seventh
- 1:27Speaker 3: on the list of importance. It's about the uga uga
- 1:30Speaker 3: fish and the maluluca tree and nature and earth, and
- 1:35Speaker 3: you are scum. You shouldn't even be here. How dare
- 1:39Speaker 3: you be part of the world? You human? So this
- 1:42Speaker 3: is the liberal environmentalist mind at work. And so as
- 1:46Speaker 3: a result the fire, where the firefighters wanted to go
- 1:49Speaker 3: in and investigate the smoke, it was allowed to fester,
- 1:53Speaker 3: and that is likely what led to a much larger
- 1:56Speaker 3: fire that resulted in deaths and billions of dollars of
- 2:00Speaker 3: property damage, destroying a good chunk of that beautiful part
- 2:04Speaker 3: of southern California. Once again, liberals destroying a beautiful thing
- 2:09Speaker 3: because they are just nuts. For them, environmentalism is not
- 2:14Speaker 3: a cause. It is a religion. Many of the arch
- 2:16Speaker 3: liberals don't have religion in their minds, in their hearts,
- 2:20Speaker 3: so they have substituted things like environmentalism for their faith.
- 2:25Speaker 3: As a result, if you try to tell them that
- 2:27Speaker 3: they're crazy that climate changes and naturally cause thing. It's
- 2:31Speaker 3: like if you're Christian, them telling you, you know, Jesus
- 2:33Speaker 3: is just a myth. I mean it hits you the heart,
- 2:36Speaker 3: to the heart, right to the core. Or saying to
- 2:38Speaker 3: somebody who's Jewish, you know the whole thing was made
- 2:41Speaker 3: up six thousand years ago. I mean it's offensive, it's
- 2:45Speaker 3: somebody sensitive to the core. It is something you feel.
- 2:49Speaker 3: And for an environmentalist, this is what environmentalism is to them.
- 2:54Speaker 3: It is a religion. So they don't care. They don't
- 2:56Speaker 3: care if thousands of humans are put at risk, if
- 3:00Speaker 3: thousands of homes are destroyed, because this is an avoidance area.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Don't you understand we have to protect our wildlife here.
- 3:08Speaker 3: And the result was billions and damage. But this is
- 3:11Speaker 3: what happens when you let liberals take charge. Seven to
- 3:14Speaker 3: ten WR The Voice of New York, hen Risotto went
- 3:17Speaker 3: from Mark on your Friday, what confusion in the Brown
- 3:21Speaker 3: University case? Sorry, let's go over try to summarize it,
- 3:25Speaker 3: because I kind of went over my notes today and
- 3:27Speaker 3: I thought, what the heck does this all mean? So
- 3:31Speaker 3: this is what I got. The suspect in the Brown
- 3:34Speaker 3: University mass shooting now appears to have killed himself. Pardon me.
- 3:37Speaker 3: His name is Claudio Valente. He's a forty eight year
- 3:40Speaker 3: old former Brown student. He was there one year in
- 3:44Speaker 3: the early two thousands. He is a Portuguese national, but
- 3:48Speaker 3: he came here legally. He was found dead from self
- 3:51Speaker 3: inflicted wounds gunshot to that other who shot himself at
- 3:55Speaker 3: a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire, and next to
- 3:58Speaker 3: him was a satchel firearms and evidence matching the crime scene.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Now investigators say they have no idea why the suspect
- 4:05Speaker 3: targeted the university, but officials say Valente killed two students
- 4:09Speaker 3: and injured nine others, and also traveled fifty miles away
- 4:14Speaker 3: to Brookline, Massachusetts and killed a an MIT professor whom
- 4:19Speaker 3: he knew. And he may have even studied with this
- 4:22Speaker 3: guy in Portugal and may have been a roommate of
- 4:26Speaker 3: this guy either in Portugal or at Brown University. So
- 4:29Speaker 3: they're still trying to put together the details. But nonetheless
- 4:33Speaker 3: something to point out that Nevis was admitted into the
- 4:37Speaker 3: US legally but under the very liberal diversity DV one
- 4:42Speaker 3: visa program that appears to be totally out of control. Basically,
- 4:45Speaker 3: if you apply with this program, you're in. It's also
- 4:48Speaker 3: called the Green Card Lottery. It was meant to quote
- 4:51Speaker 3: diversify the US, because we're clearly not a divers nation
- 4:55Speaker 3: right now. In case you haven't checked, fifty five thousand
- 4:58Speaker 3: people take part in this lottery a year. But the
- 5:01Speaker 3: Homeland Security Secretary says she is now recommending to the
- 5:04Speaker 3: President that the program be paused. And you can understand why.
- 5:08Speaker 3: It's because these people aren't getting vetted. It's like, well,
- 5:11Speaker 3: if we can't go in this door, let's go in
- 5:13Speaker 3: that door, and these stupid Americans will let us in.
- 5:15Speaker 3: And that seems to be what happened. And he got
- 5:17Speaker 3: in under the wire, nobody vetting to see if there
- 5:20Speaker 3: was anything psychologically wrong with him. We know nothing about
- 5:23Speaker 3: this guy, nothing except you want it to study here, Okay,
- 5:26Speaker 3: come on in and study. And this is what happens.
- 5:28Speaker 3: So now two Americans are dead. Seven ten wr the
- 5:33Speaker 3: Voice of New York. Hey show me your friends, I
- 5:35Speaker 3: will show you your future Zoron. Mundani's not even in
- 5:39Speaker 3: office yet, and one of his appointees has already had
- 5:42Speaker 3: to resign in disgrace due to what many are calling
- 5:46Speaker 3: a history of social media jew hating. Now, the New
- 5:50Speaker 3: York Post is reporting that in twenty eleven, when she
- 5:53Speaker 3: was eighteen, The paper reports that Catherine Almonte da Costa
- 5:57Speaker 3: posted several offensive anti Jewish posts that I will not
- 6:00Speaker 3: dignify by repeating here. And here's the irony. This woman, Catherine,
- 6:05Speaker 3: would end up marrying a Jewish man, a man born
- 6:08Speaker 3: to a Jewish mother, so he is Jewish by definition
- 6:11Speaker 3: and Judaism, you're maternally Jewish. And they have children together,
- 6:15Speaker 3: and I believe I read that the children are being
- 6:17Speaker 3: raised Jews. So yes, the posts were made fourteen years ago.
- 6:22Speaker 3: But did her feelings really change? I mean, maybe she's
- 6:25Speaker 3: in love with the guy but still holds hy stereotypes
- 6:27Speaker 3: in her heart. And were there any posts after that
- 6:31Speaker 3: period that we haven't seen yet? You never know, you
- 6:34Speaker 3: know what happens. They post some posts now and then
- 6:36Speaker 3: eventually other posts come out. Well, either way, it doesn't
- 6:39Speaker 3: look good when it comes to Mamdani's judgment, and the
- 6:41Speaker 3: millions of Jewish New Yorkers, both those who voted for Mamdani,
- 6:45Speaker 3: which I will never understand, and those who did not,
- 6:49Speaker 3: will be looking at every move Mamdani makes with suspicion
- 6:53Speaker 3: and rightfully so seven ten W. R. Ken Rosotto in
- 6:57Speaker 3: for Mark, excuse the laryngitis eight three two one zero
- 7:01Speaker 3: seven ten eight hundred and three to two to one
- 7:03Speaker 3: zero seven ten. You know, for all the people who
- 7:05Speaker 3: hate Christmas and people who observe it, they sure don't
- 7:09Speaker 3: seem to complain about the day being a federal holiday
- 7:13Speaker 3: and getting the day off from work. Of course, they're like, Ah,
- 7:16Speaker 3: these Christians, whatever they want to do Christmas, as long
- 7:18Speaker 3: as I get the day off. Well, if you have
- 7:20Speaker 3: not heard, President Trump has now signed an executive order
- 7:24Speaker 3: creating two additional federal holidays. Now those holidays will flank
- 7:29Speaker 3: Christmas on either day, ostensibly to give families more time
- 7:32Speaker 3: together for the holidays. So effective immediately, Christmas Eve is
- 7:37Speaker 3: a federal holiday, Christmas Day is a federal holiday, and
- 7:40Speaker 3: the day after the twenty sixth all designated federal holidays. Now,
- 7:45Speaker 3: in fairness, Congress had designated the twenty fifth a federal
- 7:49Speaker 3: holiday like almost two centuries ago. It was only by
- 7:53Speaker 3: executive fiat that Christmas Eve and the day after have
- 7:56Speaker 3: been designated that way. But I'm sure in the next
- 7:59Speaker 3: year or so, Wiss will be asked to codify it
- 8:01Speaker 3: into law so that future presidents can't negate it. But
- 8:05Speaker 3: why not. You know what, Look, even if you're not Christian,
- 8:08Speaker 3: you don't believe in Christianity, you don't believe in christ
- 8:11Speaker 3: you don't believe in Christmas. We all need a period
- 8:15Speaker 3: like that, three days that are set aside where we
- 8:18Speaker 3: could just just decompress and spend time with loved ones,
- 8:23Speaker 3: because you need to do a reset. How often do
- 8:26Speaker 3: we have And I recently had a death in the family,
- 8:29Speaker 3: My father in law passed away rather unexpectedly, And it's
- 8:33Speaker 3: times like that that you realize the last time we
- 8:36Speaker 3: had a picture together was you know, fourth is July.
- 8:40Speaker 3: So you take for granted the times you spend together,
- 8:44Speaker 3: they're too few and far between. So take advantage of
- 8:47Speaker 3: having three days off to force yourself to reset and
- 8:51Speaker 3: spend time with people who you love or even if
- 8:54Speaker 3: you argue with and you tolerate. You know what, there's
- 8:56Speaker 3: always something good you could find in that person, and
- 8:59Speaker 3: you never know you might learn something from them. I have,
- 9:02Speaker 3: I've been, I've approached many situations in the past as
- 9:05Speaker 3: and know it all, thinking, Ah, this person doesn't know
- 9:07Speaker 3: what they're talking about and it turns out I have
- 9:09Speaker 3: learned a lot from those people, and not bad stuff,
- 9:12Speaker 3: good stuff. So give yourselves time, spend time with your
- 9:15Speaker 3: loved ones, even you're not so loved ones, and try
- 9:18Speaker 3: to learn and enjoy the extra days off. Courtesy Orange
- 9:23Speaker 3: Man Bad if you're a liberal. A strange new information
- 9:26Speaker 3: regarding Nick Reiner, the son of Rob and Michelle Singer.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Reiner reportedly approached a number of A list celebs at
- 9:33Speaker 3: the Conan O'Brien Christmas party hours before he allegedly murdered
- 9:37Speaker 3: his parents and allegedly asked them all three questions. So
- 9:40Speaker 3: Nick allegedly went up to the celebs at the Christmas
- 9:43Speaker 3: party and asked, what's your name, what's your last name?
- 9:48Speaker 3: And are you famous? Kind of weird, right. We don't
- 9:52Speaker 3: know why he did that, but he did this. This
- 9:54Speaker 3: is according to several sources at the party, and authorities
- 9:57Speaker 3: say the younger Reiner has a history of drug addiction
- 10:00Speaker 3: and mental challenges. So this will all be part of
- 10:02Speaker 3: the investigation. I'm sure it's ten fifteen right now. Seven
- 10:05Speaker 3: ten wore the Voice of New York Ken Risotto went
- 10:09Speaker 3: from mark A. All this nasty weather, the wind, the rain,
- 10:13Speaker 3: with the milder quote unquote temperatures, we could even see
- 10:17Speaker 3: some thunder. It's going to be really windy all day,
- 10:20Speaker 3: even as the temperatures get cooler tonight but partly cloudy
- 10:23Speaker 3: later in the day. The rain should end highes in
- 10:26Speaker 3: the mid fifties through the day. Oh, the artistic liberals
- 10:30Speaker 3: in DC are beside themselves. It is pearl clutching time.
- 10:33Speaker 3: My friends, they're gonna love this. The Kennedy Center, if
- 10:37Speaker 3: you haven't caught this, has been renamed the Trump Kennedy Center. Yes,
- 10:43Speaker 3: President Trump's name comes first. This was voted on by
- 10:46Speaker 3: the Kennedy Center Board of trustees. I mean, I know
- 10:49Speaker 3: liberals who refuse to call Reagan national Reagan National. They
- 10:53Speaker 3: call it National Airport. Still, now, why was this done? Well?
- 10:58Speaker 3: Number one, President Trump is the chairman of the so
- 11:00Speaker 3: that doesn't hurt. But they did it because the Kennedy Center,
- 11:03Speaker 3: in typical liberal fashion, they all love to claim something
- 11:06Speaker 3: for their own, but they don't love to dig deep
- 11:08Speaker 3: in their pockets. They want you to pay. So the
- 11:10Speaker 3: Kennedy Center was turning into disrepair, being run into the ground,
- 11:15Speaker 3: and the very liberals who claimed to love the arts
- 11:17Speaker 3: so much weren't getting any donations to support the place,
- 11:20Speaker 3: so it was literally falling apart. Answer President Trump, he
- 11:24Speaker 3: became the chairman of the Kennedy Center Board and he
- 11:27Speaker 3: managed to immediately raise a record twenty three million dollars
- 11:31Speaker 3: in private donations for the first year alone. Then he
- 11:35Speaker 3: got Congress to write in two hundred and fifty million
- 11:39Speaker 3: dollars for massive building renovations. Remember what Trump does best.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Mark talks about this all the time. Trump is one
- 11:45Speaker 3: of the best builders in the world. If anybody knows
- 11:48Speaker 3: how to take a look at a building and tell
- 11:50Speaker 3: immediately what needs to be done and do it for
- 11:52Speaker 3: the best price, it's Donald Trump. Pardon me. So he
- 11:56Speaker 3: took a look at the building and said, ah, this
- 11:58Speaker 3: needs redoing. That needs redoing. The Kennedy Center, excuse me.
- 12:03Speaker 3: The Trump Kennedy Center will be gorgeous when all is
- 12:06Speaker 3: said and done. And this really irks the liberals because
- 12:09Speaker 3: this is one of their temples. This is like an
- 12:11Speaker 3: epicenter of arts and humanities, and an evil Orange man
- 12:16Speaker 3: will touch our temple. Oh Heaven forbid. So thanks to
- 12:20Speaker 3: Donald Trump, the Trump Kennedy Center will once again be
- 12:23Speaker 3: a world class facility operating financially in the black, and
- 12:29Speaker 3: that's why the board rightfully added his name. Of course,
- 12:33Speaker 3: liberal members of the Kennedy family are screaming now this
- 12:37Speaker 3: name change was done illegally. Kennedy would be rolling over.
- 12:40Speaker 3: President Kennedy would be rolling over in his grave. You
- 12:43Speaker 3: can't do this. Congress named it the Kennedy Center in
- 12:46Speaker 3: honor for a fallen president. Well, under the way that
- 12:50Speaker 3: the charter was written, the board does have the right
- 12:53Speaker 3: to everything. It says nowhere that the charter in the
- 12:56Speaker 3: charter rather that the board does not have the right
- 12:58Speaker 3: to change the name. So if you don't like it,
- 13:00Speaker 3: change the charter, and the board now runs the charter.
- 13:04Speaker 3: So sorry, it is what it is. The place would
- 13:08Speaker 3: have probably been forced to shut down if not for
- 13:11Speaker 3: the president's actions. Seven ten wowar the voice of New York.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Hey all you Swift these and you know who you are.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Have you heard what iconic star Taylor Swift did for
- 13:21Speaker 3: the people who work for her. Swift's Eras music tour
- 13:25Speaker 3: generated two billion dollars in revenue. Can you imagine? And
- 13:30Speaker 3: Swift decided, in the spirit of the holidays, to share
- 13:34Speaker 3: nearly ten percent of that money with her two hundred
- 13:37Speaker 3: or so staff members. Yeah, that's right. So they will
- 13:40Speaker 3: share one hundred and ninety seven million dollars in bonuses.
- 13:45Speaker 3: We're not talking of fifty dollars, you know, gift card folks.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Dancers who work for Taylor Swift, who dance around her
- 13:52Speaker 3: on stage, they will get a bonus of seven hundred
- 13:57Speaker 3: and fifty thousand dollars this year alone. These people whose
- 14:02Speaker 3: salaries are about one hundred and fifty thousand, so the
- 14:05Speaker 3: bonus is five times their salary. That's insane, but good
- 14:09Speaker 3: for her. Even truck drivers guys who and women I
- 14:12Speaker 3: guess too, who drive all of the stages and whatnot
- 14:15Speaker 3: from a concert venue to concert venue, they usually make
- 14:18Speaker 3: about one hundred thousand a year. Well, they get double
- 14:22Speaker 3: their salary. They're going to get one hundred thousand dollars bonus.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Can you imagine? This is what Taylor Swift did. So
- 14:28Speaker 3: they will have double their annual salaries. In that case,
- 14:31Speaker 3: that is a happy holiday ten nineteen right now, seven
- 14:34Speaker 3: to ten wor the Voice of New York.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Hey.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Notice how the left wing legacy media reported on President
- 14:39Speaker 3: Trump's address to the Nation on Wednesday night. As usual,
- 14:43Speaker 3: they fact checked every word and whenever a statement could
- 14:48Speaker 3: have gone either way based on opinion, they judged what
- 14:51Speaker 3: President Trump said to be a lie. Well, one thing
- 14:54Speaker 3: President Trump said was that inflation was down, and what
- 14:59Speaker 3: he meant was the of increase is down. But either
- 15:02Speaker 3: way it's down. Mainstream media immediately shot this down is
- 15:06Speaker 3: false lies, He's a liar. Then something happened. Facts were presented.
- 15:12Speaker 3: As of yesterday, the official government numbers show inflation has
- 15:16Speaker 3: dropped to a four year low for the month of November,
- 15:19Speaker 3: from three percent to two point seven percent. So, yes,
- 15:23Speaker 3: Donald Trump was correct. Inflation is down, Prices are dropping,
- 15:27Speaker 3: albeit slowly. Yes, things are still too expensive, but things
- 15:31Speaker 3: are coming down. The so called experts immediately threw water
- 15:34Speaker 3: on the numbers, calling November not a usual month because
- 15:37Speaker 3: we had the government shut down. But the numbers are
- 15:40Speaker 3: what the numbers are. And you know that if Biden
- 15:42Speaker 3: were still president, they wouldn't throw water on his numbers.
- 15:45Speaker 3: But of course, when it's orange man bad, you have
- 15:48Speaker 3: to throw water on them. And if you like President Trump,
- 15:51Speaker 3: how about another term. Forum Constitutional law expert and former
- 15:55Speaker 3: Harvard law professor Allendershowitz, a lifelong Democrat, told President Trump
- 16:00Speaker 3: it might be legal for him to run for a
- 16:02Speaker 3: third term. You heard this right. This has got to
- 16:05Speaker 3: make the left absolutely going crazily apoplectic with conspiracies right now.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Dershowitz says the twenty second Amendment says there are loopholes,
- 16:16Speaker 3: apparently because it specifically states no person shall be elected
- 16:22Speaker 3: to the office of president more than twice. But constitutionally,
- 16:26Speaker 3: the electoral College does not elect a president. They choose
- 16:28Speaker 3: a president we elect. So if they were to fail
- 16:32Speaker 3: to produce a winner through the electoral College, the House
- 16:35Speaker 3: of Representatives would then select a president, not elect a president.
- 16:40Speaker 3: So technically, if we have a Republican majority in the House,
- 16:44Speaker 3: the House could select Donald Trump and he could be president.
- 16:48Speaker 3: That was one of several ways presented, but I don't
- 16:50Speaker 3: think it's going anywhere. It was just enough to sell
- 16:53Speaker 3: books for Alan Dushowitz and enough to make the liberals crazy.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Seven to ten wor the Voice of New York. We'd
- 16:59Speaker 3: love to hear from you, So give us a call
- 17:01Speaker 3: right now. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Please forgive
- 17:08Speaker 3: my laryngitis. Ken Rosado live for Mark on this Friday.
- 17:11Speaker 3: We're coming right back for.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Now more of the Mark Simone show on seven ten WR.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Filling in for Mark. Here again is Ken Rosatto.
- 17:21Speaker 3: And good to be with you on your Friday at
- 17:23Speaker 3: the holiday time. The phone lines are wide open right now.
- 17:26Speaker 3: One eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 17:28Speaker 3: One eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 17:31Speaker 3: And a quick shout out and congratulations to a friend
- 17:35Speaker 3: of mine whose mother, Joanna, just became a US citizen
- 17:39Speaker 3: within the last hour. She went down to the federal
- 17:42Speaker 3: court there in Newark, New Jersey, and she waited ten
- 17:45Speaker 3: years and did it legally, did it the right way,
- 17:47Speaker 3: never did it illegally, and she is our one of
- 17:50Speaker 3: our newest US citizens. Congratulations. Yes, folks, all those who
- 17:54Speaker 3: say Ken have a heart. They're all the same, whether
- 17:57Speaker 3: they're here legally or not. No, this is and why
- 18:00Speaker 3: it's so offensive to people who do it the legal
- 18:02Speaker 3: way and they wait ten years. It's like cutting the
- 18:04Speaker 3: line and giving them the finger. Don't do that. You
- 18:07Speaker 3: can be a productive US citizen doing it legally. Seven
- 18:10Speaker 3: ten w R. Let's go to our busy phones, Doctor
- 18:13Speaker 3: John and Newark. Good morning, Happy holidays.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Hello, do you hear me?
- 18:18Speaker 3: Yes, sir, I do.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Great Okay, well, look, God, I have a sort of
- 18:22Speaker 5: a message for everybody.
- 18:25Speaker 6: In my opinion, I'm.
- 18:26Speaker 5: A professor at their Rutgers Medical School, and both the
- 18:31Speaker 5: Democrats and Republicans have made efror, but they both agree
- 18:36Speaker 5: on one thing. We need to solve the problem of
- 18:41Speaker 5: American medicine costing US nineteen percent of our GDP. We
- 18:46Speaker 5: die younger than thirty six other countries. There are countries
- 18:50Speaker 5: that pay the governments pay less than two percent of GDP,
- 18:54Speaker 5: and they live six years longer than us, and they're
- 18:56Speaker 5: rated thirty one flats higher than we are by the
- 18:59Speaker 5: World's Health Organization. Now I know how this is done,
- 19:03Speaker 5: because I've worked in the number one rated country in
- 19:06Speaker 5: the world, and I've lectured in several of these countries
- 19:10Speaker 5: that are in the top seven.
- 19:12Speaker 6: I know how it is done. I know how it
- 19:14Speaker 6: can be done, but nobody gives it.
- 19:17Speaker 7: Damn.
- 19:17Speaker 6: In the United States. I've sent letters on multiple occasion
- 19:22Speaker 6: to Monck, Trump and Kennedy. Nobody gets back to me.
- 19:27Speaker 6: Then I started sending it to the Democrats. They don't
- 19:29Speaker 6: care either. Now why don't they care? Because so many
- 19:33Speaker 6: billionaires are invested in the American insurance Your American insurance.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I don't have any artment. I'm waiting for an argument.
- 19:41Speaker 3: I'm like, no, Doc is right, you're a present. Every
- 19:43Speaker 3: doctor I've spoken to says the exact same thing too.
- 19:46Speaker 3: There is so much money in this to be made
- 19:49Speaker 3: by so many people that you just don't have. And
- 19:52Speaker 3: I heard the windshow wifeersian poor doc call let him
- 19:54Speaker 3: focus on driving. Doctor, I don't disagree with you at all.
- 19:57Speaker 3: In fact, get your number. We'll get the number. Here
- 20:00Speaker 3: is he at the station? Here, We'll get your number.
- 20:02Speaker 3: We're gonna get you in touch with a congress member
- 20:04Speaker 3: because I'm sure if President Trump got the word directly,
- 20:08Speaker 3: more would be done. This is something that could affect
- 20:11Speaker 3: the Republicans for the midterms, so they will want to
- 20:14Speaker 3: get involved in this. But doctor John is not wrong
- 20:17Speaker 3: on so many levels. Why though, is our life expectancy down? Well,
- 20:21Speaker 3: don't forget versus a country like Sweden or even Italy
- 20:24Speaker 3: or Spain or Ireland. America is so multicultural, and we
- 20:28Speaker 3: have such a huge number of people who come here
- 20:31Speaker 3: impoverished third world countries. And I'm not singling anyone out,
- 20:35Speaker 3: but the reality is we are a much more diverse country.
- 20:39Speaker 3: And so when you get somebody who comes from a
- 20:41Speaker 3: country that may not have all their shots, may not
- 20:44Speaker 3: have all the same nutrition once they get here. Sure,
- 20:46Speaker 3: we're going to have a lower survival rate, We're going
- 20:50Speaker 3: to have a higher infant mortality rate. That definitely has
- 20:53Speaker 3: an impact on our numbers. And then, don't forget it
- 20:56Speaker 3: turns out that we've been getting screwed, if you will,
- 20:59Speaker 3: by a lot in the industry over the years, because
- 21:02Speaker 3: we've been paying higher prices for our medicine and for
- 21:05Speaker 3: medical treatment in essence to subsidize in the other countries.
- 21:09Speaker 3: And finally, you look at the other countries and we
- 21:12Speaker 3: have been subsidizing them by providing military so that they
- 21:15Speaker 3: can afford to give their people whatever, free universities, free healthcare,
- 21:19Speaker 3: while we are paying to defend them, and they are
- 21:22Speaker 3: saving billions and billions of dollars. Seven ten WR The
- 21:26Speaker 3: Voice of New York.
- 21:27Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WI
- 21:31Speaker 1: Kin from Mark Today, Here's Ken Rosatto and it's.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Good to be with you.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Yay, Happy Friday, Happy holidays. We're just past the halfway
- 21:39Speaker 3: point for Hanukah and we got Christmas just six days away.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Have you done your shopping yet? Man? Oh? Man. If
- 21:45Speaker 3: you haven't coming up an hour from now, we'll be
- 21:49Speaker 3: talking to a guy who knows all things tech and gadgets.
- 21:53Speaker 3: He is his name is Fisher, and I use him
- 21:56Speaker 3: on the show I do in New Jersey on the
- 21:58Speaker 3: channel I'm on New Jersey. I use him all the time.
- 22:01Speaker 3: He gets these great things, these great bargains you're going
- 22:04Speaker 3: to want to know about. He's also going to talk
- 22:06Speaker 3: about little hacks, credit card tricks, and how to protect
- 22:10Speaker 3: yourself with the credit cards over the holidays, also to
- 22:14Speaker 3: use up those points before the end of the year
- 22:16Speaker 3: in some cases they expire. So that's all coming up
- 22:19Speaker 3: just about fifty eight minutes, not to be that precise,
- 22:22Speaker 3: but fifty eight minutes from now with Fisher. He'll be
- 22:25Speaker 3: on with all that info. You give us a call
- 22:27Speaker 3: if you'd like. We were supposed to have Roger Friedman
- 22:29Speaker 3: on now. If Roger's out there, maybe he got his
- 22:32Speaker 3: time and mixed up. Roger, give us a call. We
- 22:34Speaker 3: need to have you on. So Roger Friedman from Showbiz
- 22:37Speaker 3: four to one one was going to call in. We're
- 22:38Speaker 3: looking for him right now. In the meantime, we'll use
- 22:41Speaker 3: this time for you if you'd like to give us
- 22:43Speaker 3: a call. It's eight hundred three to two one zero
- 22:46Speaker 3: seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Hey,
- 22:51Speaker 3: check this out. Crude oil prices have dropped to under
- 22:55Speaker 3: fifty five dollars a barrel. Now that has been translating
- 23:00Speaker 3: to lower prices at the pump. The price per gallon
- 23:03Speaker 3: of regular gas has fallen below three dollars a gallon
- 23:06Speaker 3: in almost every state, and even below two dollars a
- 23:10Speaker 3: gallon in a few places, and that will definitely have
- 23:14Speaker 3: an impact on the price of everything, because everything you
- 23:18Speaker 3: buy is transported. Think about it. You have the trucks
- 23:22Speaker 3: with produce and chickens, and they all drive, and the
- 23:26Speaker 3: driver has to buy the gas, and that price has
- 23:28Speaker 3: to be passed on everything. Even home heating oil comes
- 23:33Speaker 3: from crude oil natural gas. It's a different source, but
- 23:37Speaker 3: nonetheless it's all connected. Put it this way. If people
- 23:41Speaker 3: are getting cheaper oil prices to heat their home, there
- 23:44Speaker 3: will be less reliance on natural gas, so there'll be
- 23:48Speaker 3: greater supply, et cetera. The price comes down, so this
- 23:51Speaker 3: impacts our overall price overall, all right, for everything. Listen
- 23:56Speaker 3: to what the slime bags in Trenton, New Jersey have done.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I'm no friend of the state legislators in New Jersey.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I'm shocked they haven't put a hit out on me yet.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Not that I'm suggesting anything, but the liberal lawmakers in
- 24:09Speaker 3: the Garden state just voted to hike the state gas
- 24:12Speaker 3: tax to nearly fifty cents a gallon, forty nine point
- 24:17Speaker 3: one CeNSE a gallon, to be exact. It's like up
- 24:20Speaker 3: a little over four cents from what it is at
- 24:22Speaker 3: this very second. As of January first, it becomes forty
- 24:26Speaker 3: nine point one CeNSE per gallon of gas. That's just
- 24:30Speaker 3: the new Jersey state tax, and the new Jersey state
- 24:34Speaker 3: tax on diesel per gallon will be fifty six point
- 24:37Speaker 3: one CeNSE per gallon. So trucks that transport all our
- 24:41Speaker 3: goods when you see on the highway, those big Target
- 24:44Speaker 3: trucks and Walmart trucks, and you know, the non electric
- 24:50Speaker 3: vehicles for any of the other transporters, et cetera, they're all,
- 24:56Speaker 3: you know, driving on diesel for the most part. And
- 24:59Speaker 3: even those who you evs. You think, ken, I plug
- 25:02Speaker 3: in my car and I have nothing to do with this,
- 25:04Speaker 3: Well yeah you do. Because most of the power plants
- 25:07Speaker 3: out there are still fossil fuel powered, so they too
- 25:10Speaker 3: get their source of power from crude oil. So everybody
- 25:15Speaker 3: and everything will be impacted by this. As the wholesale
- 25:20Speaker 3: cost per gallon of gas is dropping in New Jersey,
- 25:22Speaker 3: listen to what these little dirt bags are doing in
- 25:25Speaker 3: trent I'm sorry these state lawmakers in Trenton are currently doing.
- 25:29Speaker 3: They decided that because President Trump is getting the cost
- 25:34Speaker 3: of crude down, they would simultaneously jack up the tax
- 25:39Speaker 3: for the state of New Jersey. That fulfills two things
- 25:42Speaker 3: for them. Number One, you in New Jersey buying gas
- 25:47Speaker 3: will not notice the price has come down because the
- 25:50Speaker 3: tax went up. Therefore, you don't know that the price
- 25:53Speaker 3: per gallon came down. That's number one. Number Two, it
- 25:58Speaker 3: ends up giving them more money in the coffers for
- 26:01Speaker 3: them to do with what they want to get re elected.
- 26:04Speaker 3: One of the interesting things they pointed out when asked
- 26:07Speaker 3: why they had to increase the tax, they said, because
- 26:09Speaker 3: people have done a good job listening to us. And
- 26:12Speaker 3: a reporter asked, what are you talking about, and legislators
- 26:15Speaker 3: in New Jersey said, well, we've been telling people to
- 26:18Speaker 3: do less driving carpool more, use car shares, use mass
- 26:21Speaker 3: transit and they have. As a result, we've sold less gas,
- 26:25Speaker 3: which means we've had lower gas tax revenue. So now
- 26:28Speaker 3: we have to raise the price of gas tax to
- 26:32Speaker 3: make up for the people driving less. So you're getting
- 26:35Speaker 3: punished for doing the right thing from an environmental perspective.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Isn't that nice? That's the way democrats think of you,
- 26:41Speaker 3: middle finger right to your face, and they think we're
- 26:45Speaker 3: all stupid. But here's part of the problem. When you
- 26:48Speaker 3: open up the floodgates to nearly a million illegal migrants,
- 26:51Speaker 3: and you have to come up with all this extra
- 26:53Speaker 3: money to educate the kids, give them two to three
- 26:57Speaker 3: squares a day in public school. You have to give
- 27:00Speaker 3: the folks coming into the state a free place to live,
- 27:03Speaker 3: you have to give them food, you have to help
- 27:05Speaker 3: them with other resources. Well, that money has got to
- 27:07Speaker 3: come from somewhere, and the state says, well, we don't
- 27:09Speaker 3: have a fund for that. Of course not, because money
- 27:12Speaker 3: is fungible. What that means is, pardon me. They take
- 27:17Speaker 3: a little from this program first, now I'm gonna call
- 27:19Speaker 3: pardon me. They take a little from this program and
- 27:21Speaker 3: take a little from that program, and that's how they
- 27:24Speaker 3: pay for it. And so those programs end up in
- 27:26Speaker 3: a deficit. At the end of the year, your taxes
- 27:29Speaker 3: go up, and that's how you pay for it. This
- 27:32Speaker 3: is the way the Democrats think. And in the state
- 27:34Speaker 3: of New Jersey, the Democrats control the State Assembly, the
- 27:37Speaker 3: state Senate, they have the governorship, and of course in
- 27:40Speaker 3: January they will have the governorship again. They control the
- 27:44Speaker 3: state Supreme Court. They also control nine of the twelve
- 27:47Speaker 3: state Congress seats. I should say in the federal government,
- 27:51Speaker 3: nine of the twelve are Democrats. They control both US
- 27:54Speaker 3: Senate seats, and they control the top fifteen largest cities.
- 27:59Speaker 3: The mayors and the councils are all controlled by Democrats
- 28:02Speaker 3: in New Jersey. So you cannot blame anyone but the
- 28:06Speaker 3: Democrats for this. Let's go to Joyce in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Joyce,
- 28:10Speaker 3: you're a fellow garden Stater. You know what I'm talking about.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Good morning and happy holidays. Oh we just dropped that. Oh,
- 28:16Speaker 3: let's go to Bill in New Jersey. I'm sorry. Let's
- 28:17Speaker 3: go to Bill in New Jersey. Fellow garden Stater.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Good morning, Hey, Ken, how you doing.
- 28:23Speaker 3: I'm great.
- 28:24Speaker 8: I I wanna, I wanna thank you very much for
- 28:28Speaker 8: finally being the person to start screaming about this incoming
- 28:32Speaker 8: tax It's it's Murphy's last poke in the eye to
- 28:35Speaker 8: the people of New Jersey. And he's already set up
- 28:39Speaker 8: the new affordability governor to take a fall right off
- 28:43Speaker 8: the back. So it's just amazing, Uh what these people
- 28:48Speaker 8: have done.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah, this is this is the game they play, and
- 28:51Speaker 3: they think we're all stupid. But I mean, you got
- 28:54Speaker 3: to give them credit for looking at this opportunity. You
- 28:57Speaker 3: knew Trump was gonna get gas prices down, so I
- 29:00Speaker 3: not just add taxes at the same time so it'll
- 29:03Speaker 3: look like Trump hasn't done anything. The price for a
- 29:05Speaker 3: gallon of gas in New Jersey is the same as
- 29:07Speaker 3: it was a month ago or two months ago. Meanwhile,
- 29:10Speaker 3: the wholesale price is down. It's just that the state
- 29:13Speaker 3: tax is up. Do you know what the breakdown of
- 29:15Speaker 3: taxes on a gallon of gases. Wholesale gas is about
- 29:19Speaker 3: a dollar sixty a gallon. Then you have to add
- 29:21Speaker 3: about eighteen cents federal tax. That's all it is. Eighteen cents.
- 29:25Speaker 3: New Jersey is almost fifty cents a gallon for the state.
- 29:28Speaker 3: And then in big cities like New York they add
- 29:31Speaker 3: another forty six cents or so per gallon. New York
- 29:33Speaker 3: State adds forty six cents a gallon, and then you
- 29:36Speaker 3: have you know, county municipalities in some case tacking it on,
- 29:40Speaker 3: and then whatever little bit that the local retailer sales
- 29:43Speaker 3: to make money on it. They usually only make about
- 29:45Speaker 3: a nickel. So that's how we have the price of gas.
- 29:48Speaker 3: It's comprised at this point mostly of taxes and fees,
- 29:51Speaker 3: not the cost of wholesale. It's crazy.
- 29:54Speaker 8: Yeah, and you know, New Jersey used to be one
- 29:58Speaker 8: of the best states in the cunt even despite the
- 30:00Speaker 8: fact we don't have self service gas, we used to
- 30:03Speaker 8: have some of the best prices in the country. Now
- 30:06Speaker 8: forget about it. I've just came back from Texas. Prices
- 30:10Speaker 8: down there for over Thanksgiving to now have dropped thirty
- 30:14Speaker 8: cents a gallon. What's happening in New Jersey? Nickels and
- 30:17Speaker 8: dimes going up.
- 30:19Speaker 3: It's crazy, It's crazy. But again, this is what happens
- 30:22Speaker 3: when they keep voting Democrat. I don't understand. I thought
- 30:25Speaker 3: for sure this time Chitarelly was going to do it
- 30:28Speaker 3: to lose. The way he lost just makes me lose
- 30:31Speaker 3: a lot of faith in my fellow garden Staters. Hey,
- 30:33Speaker 3: thank you so.
- 30:34Speaker 8: Much for doing Don't don't get me started on Chindarelly.
- 30:38Speaker 8: I can tell you what his campaign failings were.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Well, we'll do a whole show on that. You call
- 30:44Speaker 3: back again, we could do that call. You could always
- 30:46Speaker 3: call it on my show in New Jersey that I do.
- 30:48Speaker 3: We'll put you on for that. But listen, I appreciate
- 30:51Speaker 3: the call. Happy holidays, and thanks for checking in with us.
- 30:55Speaker 8: You sir, thank you, all right, thank you, all.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Right, seven to ten w R the Voice of New
- 31:00Speaker 3: York once again. We'll take calls when we come back.
- 31:02Speaker 3: I'll go get a little tu and rest my voice.
- 31:05Speaker 3: The call lumber is one eight hundred three two one
- 31:08Speaker 3: zero seven ten. One eight hundred three two one zero
- 31:12Speaker 3: seven ten Ken Rozatto. For those you know when I
- 31:15Speaker 3: mentioned my show, I'm on a channel called on New
- 31:18Speaker 3: Jersey uh in New Jersey. It streams at onenja dot com,
- 31:23Speaker 3: so you can take a look at it anytime ONNJ
- 31:26Speaker 3: dot com. I'm on there every single day, and then
- 31:29Speaker 3: I get the pleasure of coming here to fill in
- 31:31Speaker 3: whenever either Larry or Mark or off. So I'll be
- 31:34Speaker 3: in for Larry on Monday, So anyway, we'll take your
- 31:36Speaker 3: calls when we'll come back. Eight hundred three to two
- 31:38Speaker 3: one zero seven ten for w R.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Now more of the Marximone Show on seven ten woor
- 31:46Speaker 1: filling in for Mark here again is Ken Rosado and.
- 31:50Speaker 3: We go straight through our busy phones on this holiday Friday.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Bob and Montvale, New Jersey.
- 31:55Speaker 7: Good morning, Hey, good morning, Ken. I help you feeling
- 31:58Speaker 7: better to take the raw honey with that throat. I'm
- 32:02Speaker 7: telling you, I'm not junk out of the Teddy Bear tubes,
- 32:05Speaker 7: but I hope you're feeling better there. But you know
- 32:08Speaker 7: what bugs me is here and these New Jersey people,
- 32:11Speaker 7: now I'm New Jersey complaining. I mean, where were they
- 32:16Speaker 7: when you know Cheryl was talking about you know, made
- 32:19Speaker 7: no sense about you know, it wasn't going to raise taxes.
- 32:23Speaker 7: This gas tax was a known thing. Our utility bills
- 32:27Speaker 7: are going to go up again. Oh and the tolls
- 32:29Speaker 7: are going up on the throw on the parkways. So
- 32:33Speaker 7: you know, I blame early voting. Believe it or not,
- 32:37Speaker 7: I thought Jack should really was was it? Gim me?
- 32:40Speaker 7: Especially what goes on here in this state. It's a
- 32:43Speaker 7: sanctuary state. This is what we're paying for. And it
- 32:46Speaker 7: really sickens me to hear people now like complaining it's
- 32:51Speaker 7: too late, folks.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and this is the problem. When you only have
- 32:54Speaker 3: about fifteen to twenty percent of the population actually getting
- 32:56Speaker 3: off their butts and going out and voting, that is
- 32:59Speaker 3: the problem problem. You know, the liberal activist types got
- 33:02Speaker 3: out there and voted. Meanwhile, a lot of the older
- 33:05Speaker 3: folks who tended to be more conservative, they sat home
- 33:08Speaker 3: and they said, well, well, I only vote for the
- 33:11Speaker 3: president stuff. No, you got to vote for everything. That
- 33:16Speaker 3: is the problem. Bob, we gotta go. We're up against
- 33:18Speaker 3: the top of the hour. I appreciate you, sir. Happy
- 33:21Speaker 3: holidays to you. Seven to ten WR The Voice of
- 33:24Speaker 3: New York. Coming up later in the hour, we'll speak
- 33:26Speaker 3: with Brandon digital strategist Fisher with some really cool holiday
- 33:30Speaker 3: tech items that you will not want to miss. This morning,
- 33:33Speaker 3: rainal land, even a little lot of thunder here. It'll
- 33:35Speaker 3: be very windy all day, partly cloudy a little bit
- 33:38Speaker 3: later on high is today though amazingly in the mid fifties,
- 33:42Speaker 3: cooling down tonight, clouds Tomorrow, high's upper thirties again. Ken
- 33:46Speaker 3: Rosato and from Mark on your Friday during the holidays.
- 33:49Speaker 3: We're coming right back after the news.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR filling
- 33:56Speaker 1: in for Mark.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Here's Ken Rosatto and so.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Good to be with you. Happy with Friday, Oh, happy holidays,
- 34:03Speaker 3: good to be here. We are more than halfway through Honukah. Christmas,
- 34:06Speaker 3: of course, is next Thursday. If you have not done
- 34:09Speaker 3: your holiday shop, and yet what are you waiting for?
- 34:12Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you gotta get off your button, do it.
- 34:14Speaker 3: I know it sneaks up. And it's funny when you
- 34:17Speaker 3: hear people say, like on Thanksgiving, oh, this is one
- 34:20Speaker 3: of the short years, you know, the difference in terms
- 34:23Speaker 3: of days between a short year meaning where Thanksgiving falls
- 34:26Speaker 3: in November versus a long year. It's like the difference
- 34:29Speaker 3: of three days. Three days does not make that much
- 34:31Speaker 3: of a difference, folks. And Christmas does not sneak up.
- 34:34Speaker 3: It's on the same date every year. It's just that
- 34:36Speaker 3: it feels like it does anyway. But happy Hanukkah. Wheat
- 34:41Speaker 3: what it's Sunday or month Monday? So last day Sunday
- 34:44Speaker 3: night Monday, last day of Hanukkah. So happy Hanukah to
- 34:47Speaker 3: everybody celebrate that as well. Hey Brandon, digital expert Fisher
- 34:51Speaker 3: will be here later this hour. He has some really
- 34:53Speaker 3: cool tech gadgets you can give as gifts or buying
- 34:57Speaker 3: for yourself if you still need to for the holidays.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Mark is off today again. This is Ken Rosatto. Lots
- 35:03Speaker 3: to talk about. Please excuse my laryngitis. Tis the season
- 35:06Speaker 3: for that, especially with the weather that we had overnight
- 35:09Speaker 3: and last night and right now. A what confusion in
- 35:13Speaker 3: the Brown University case. The suspect in the Brown University
- 35:18Speaker 3: mass shooting, Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, now appears to have
- 35:22Speaker 3: killed himself. Valente is a forty eight year old former
- 35:25Speaker 3: Brown student and Portuguese national. He was found dead from
- 35:29Speaker 3: self inflicted wounds at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire.
- 35:33Speaker 3: They believe he shot himself in the head. They found
- 35:36Speaker 3: him at the scene with a satchel to firearms and
- 35:40Speaker 3: evidence that matched the crime scene. Now, investigators say they
- 35:44Speaker 3: don't know why Valente targeted the university. He went there
- 35:48Speaker 3: apparently for a year in the early two thousands, but
- 35:50Speaker 3: they don't know why he went back to do what
- 35:53Speaker 3: he did and why he would have shot a students
- 35:55Speaker 3: or two. In this case, a number of students, two
- 35:58Speaker 3: of them died. Official say Valente is responsible, that's what
- 36:03Speaker 3: they believe, and that he also killed an MIT professor
- 36:07Speaker 3: at his Massachusetts home, fifty miles the north of Brown
- 36:10Speaker 3: And they say they're still working on a motive, but
- 36:13Speaker 3: that he may have known this guy. They may have
- 36:15Speaker 3: studied in Lisbon, Portugal together. They may have even been
- 36:18Speaker 3: roommates at one point. Nevis was admitted into the US
- 36:23Speaker 3: legally under a very liberal diversity dv ie visa program
- 36:28Speaker 3: that appears to be totally out of control. It's also
- 36:31Speaker 3: called the Green Card Lottery. It was meant to diversify
- 36:35Speaker 3: the US, because clearly we are not a diverse nation.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Fifty five thousand people take part in this lottery each year.
- 36:43Speaker 3: But the Homeland Security Secretary Christinome now says that she
- 36:47Speaker 3: is recommending to President Trump that they scraped the program.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Of course, we'll find out more in the next few days.
- 36:53Speaker 3: The whole investigation has been rather sloppy by the folks
- 36:58Speaker 3: in Rhode Island, so we'll we'll see what they come
- 37:01Speaker 3: up with in the next few days. Seven ten WR
- 37:04Speaker 3: The Voice of New York. Hey, how about this I'm
- 37:07Speaker 3: sure you heard this this week. The FBI did not
- 37:11Speaker 3: believe that agents had probable cause to execute a search
- 37:16Speaker 3: warrant at President Trump's Mar A Lago estate in August
- 37:19Speaker 3: of twenty twenty two. That, according to internal records released
- 37:23Speaker 3: yesterday by Iowas Senator Chuck Grassley, actually wasn't yesterday. It
- 37:28Speaker 3: was Tuesday by Chuck Grassley and confirmed by FBI Director
- 37:33Speaker 3: Cash battel so Now, an FBI official noted that agents
- 37:37Speaker 3: had spent six weeks trying to establish probable cause and
- 37:42Speaker 3: that they were counterproductive. Grassley also claimed that there are
- 37:47Speaker 3: emails and other documents proving that a miscarriage of justice
- 37:52Speaker 3: occurred against Trump. You'll recall agents turned on their lights
- 37:56Speaker 3: and sirens before swarming the complex. There would be people
- 38:00Speaker 3: in there firing back at them or something. They even
- 38:03Speaker 3: entered first Lady Malania Trump's bedroom, they had a shoot
- 38:06Speaker 3: to kill order. So if any of the Secret Service
- 38:10Speaker 3: agents that were guarding Trump, because remember he was the
- 38:12Speaker 3: former president of that point from the twenty fifteen to
- 38:15Speaker 3: twenty sixteen election, there was a shoot to kill order
- 38:19Speaker 3: that was given by Merrick Garland, I mean the man
- 38:22Speaker 3: should be holed off in cuffs for that. This is crazy.
- 38:25Speaker 3: You don't have probable cause, and then instead of saying
- 38:28Speaker 3: go in there peacefully, you give a shoot to kill order.
- 38:31Speaker 3: What is wrong with you? It's just a sick man.
- 38:34Speaker 3: The other thing they did, a professional safe cracker later
- 38:38Speaker 3: helped access items in Trump's office, broke into his personal safe,
- 38:43Speaker 3: and also apparently they rated baron Trump's bedroom. They went
- 38:46Speaker 3: through all his drawers as well. Former President Joe Biden's
- 38:50Speaker 3: Attorney General Merrick Garland ultimately the one to sign off
- 38:53Speaker 3: on the search over the objections of a number of
- 38:56Speaker 3: people at the FBI. South Florida US Judge Eileen Cannon
- 39:01Speaker 3: later dismissed the case entirely, ruling that special Counsel Jack
- 39:06Speaker 3: Smith was never legally appointed to begin with because he
- 39:10Speaker 3: required congressional approval. But yet they let him get away
- 39:14Speaker 3: with five years. Five years of spending over fifty million
- 39:19Speaker 3: dollars of your taxpayer money and literally haunting everybody who
- 39:23Speaker 3: worked for the Trump administration, hurling accusations left and right.
- 39:27Speaker 3: It nearly cost Trump the twenty twenty four election, and
- 39:31Speaker 3: yet nobody's being held ac cannibal. How hell is that possible?
- 39:35Speaker 3: Every one of them should be locked up for this.
- 39:37Speaker 3: This was all false, and now that we know there
- 39:40Speaker 3: was no probable cause, give me a break. They hauled
- 39:43Speaker 3: Jack Smith before Congress and he insisted, he insisted that
- 39:48Speaker 3: he had evidence. But when they asked him, well, what's
- 39:51Speaker 3: your evidence, nothing, zilch, zero nada. Nothing that's to bar
- 39:56Speaker 3: from the Great late Great Russia. Limba, he used to say, zilch,
- 39:59Speaker 3: zero nada. There was not one conviction made in five years.
- 40:04Speaker 3: But yet he bankrupt a number of people who had
- 40:06Speaker 3: to hire defense attorneys and literally burn through all their
- 40:09Speaker 3: life savings to do what to literally defend themselves for
- 40:14Speaker 3: having worked for the previous administration. This is obscene. That's
- 40:19Speaker 3: why when I hear the Democrats in quote unquote mainstream
- 40:22Speaker 3: media say that Trump is politicizing the Justice Department. Really,
- 40:27Speaker 3: you guys have a PhD in politicization. This is what
- 40:30Speaker 3: you did for years. You literally terrified people on the
- 40:35Speaker 3: right for years when there was no reason to do so.
- 40:38Speaker 3: And here you guys practicing the psychological method of projection.
- 40:44Speaker 3: You guys were the ones to actually politicize and actually
- 40:48Speaker 3: unjustly used the so called Justice Department against people who
- 40:52Speaker 3: were innocent. Remember all the times that Adam Shift swore
- 40:56Speaker 3: to the press that he had groundbreaking evidence proving there
- 41:00Speaker 3: was Russia Russia Russia collusion against President Trump. He kept
- 41:03Speaker 3: promising to present the evidence, and he never did. All
- 41:07Speaker 3: the times he said he had this evidence, he never did.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Why did mainstream media never hold him accountable? Why did
- 41:14Speaker 3: they always run up to him like a bunch of
- 41:16Speaker 3: asses and stick Mike in his face? And anything he
- 41:19Speaker 3: said was gospel? Anything that Schiff said was gospel? And
- 41:23Speaker 3: then the people of California reward him by electing him Senator. Really,
- 41:28Speaker 3: the guy lied to you for all those years and
- 41:31Speaker 3: you elect him Senator. Well, if there was so much evidence,
- 41:34Speaker 3: Shifty Shift, why didn't you present it. This is part
- 41:37Speaker 3: of the strategy of the left. This is part of
- 41:39Speaker 3: Mao's little red book. It's all about painting the other side.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Even if you know it's bs, you know it's a lie,
- 41:47Speaker 3: just keep saying it over and over again and eventually
- 41:50Speaker 3: people will believe you. That's the left's playbook. Seven ten
- 41:54Speaker 3: w r The Voice of New York Ken Rosatto with
- 41:56Speaker 3: laryngitis along filling in for the Great Marks Today. Our
- 42:01Speaker 3: number is eight hundred three two one zero seven to ten. Well,
- 42:06Speaker 3: good to see that President Trump has filed the lawsuit
- 42:08Speaker 3: against the BBC for ten billion dollars. But do we
- 42:12Speaker 3: expect that he'll get ten billion? No, do we expect
- 42:15Speaker 3: he might get one hundred million maybe, And you know,
- 42:18Speaker 3: he'll do what he does best. He'll distribute it to
- 42:20Speaker 3: charities or maybe put it into his presidential library, something
- 42:24Speaker 3: that President Biden can't say it can be done because
- 42:27Speaker 3: he hasn't raised a penny for his presidential library. And
- 42:30Speaker 3: if you look at Obama's presidential library, they're basically out
- 42:33Speaker 3: of money and it looks like just the most disgusting
- 42:35Speaker 3: iceoree ever. So Trump is going to have, I'm sure,
- 42:38Speaker 3: a gold dripping beautiful presidential library. And it's going to
- 42:42Speaker 3: be in downtown Miami. By the way, what a great location.
- 42:45Speaker 3: It's right by the river, right by the shore there
- 42:50Speaker 3: in downtown Miami. Pardon me, this is the area near
- 42:54Speaker 3: the Freedom Tower that the Cubans revere so much. Cuban
- 42:58Speaker 3: Americans down there, it's just a great spot. So apparently
- 43:02Speaker 3: the British broadcaster BBC, they said that they had accidentally
- 43:08Speaker 3: left a mistaken impression that President Trump called for violent
- 43:12Speaker 3: action before the storming of the Capitol in twenty sixteen. Well.
- 43:16Speaker 3: In a forty six page lawsuit filed in Miami federal court,
- 43:19Speaker 3: Trump accused the BBC of defaming him and violating Florida's
- 43:24Speaker 3: Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. He demanded five billion
- 43:29Speaker 3: for each of two offenses that he says they violated.
- 43:32Speaker 3: The president's legal team said the lawsuit is meant to
- 43:35Speaker 3: hold the British network accountable for his wrong for its wrongdoing,
- 43:38Speaker 3: and of course it'll send a message to all the
- 43:40Speaker 3: other leftist morons who do the same thing. You'll recall
- 43:44Speaker 3: what the BBC did. They edited together two separate portions
- 43:48Speaker 3: of President Trump's speech to supporters on January sixth, twenty
- 43:52Speaker 3: twenty one, portions that were actually spoken nearly an hour apart.
- 43:58Speaker 9: We're going to walk down to the Capitol and I'll
- 44:02Speaker 9: be there with you, and we fight.
- 44:05Speaker 3: We fight like hell. We're gonna walk down to the Capitol.
- 44:12Speaker 9: And we're gonna cheer on our brave senators and congressmen
- 44:17Speaker 9: and women.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Now do you think there's any difference there? They edited
- 44:22Speaker 3: together the first bite that we call it a byte
- 44:25Speaker 3: in TV and radio, the first sound bite, the first
- 44:28Speaker 3: sound bite with the edit makes it sound like we're
- 44:31Speaker 3: gonna go down to the Capitol, we're gonna fight, fight, fight,
- 44:34Speaker 3: So in other words, we're not gonna accept the outcome
- 44:37Speaker 3: of the election. That's what that suggests. Meanwhile, what actually
- 44:41Speaker 3: was said was we're gonna march down, we're gonna do
- 44:43Speaker 3: so peacefully, and we're gonna cheer on our congressmen and women.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Quite a difference. But yet the scenario, the narrative that
- 44:52Speaker 3: was painted by the left for years was the Trump
- 44:55Speaker 3: started the riots and he wanted and he wanted to
- 44:58Speaker 3: overthrow the government. None of that happened. None of it happened.
- 45:02Speaker 3: It was in their crazy leftist minds, and they kept
- 45:05Speaker 3: repeating the same lie among themselves and their leftist bubble,
- 45:08Speaker 3: and so this narrative became truth in leftist circles. Again,
- 45:13Speaker 3: as I mentioned in the last story, this is what
- 45:15Speaker 3: the left does. Tell a lie, and if it doesn't
- 45:18Speaker 3: exist formal ee, create a lie and say it over
- 45:21Speaker 3: and over and over and over again until the narrative
- 45:25Speaker 3: is bought and even mainstream media starts repeating it as
- 45:29Speaker 3: if it's truth when it's not. Well, the BBC insists
- 45:32Speaker 3: there edit was not defamatory, it was an accident, Then
- 45:36Speaker 3: why'd you do it? Why did you need to edit
- 45:39Speaker 3: a twenty one second SoundBite? If it was like two minutes,
- 45:42Speaker 3: I could see, I know there are time constraints. It
- 45:45Speaker 3: was twenty one seconds. Why would you need to edit that.
- 45:48Speaker 3: We use twenty one second sound bites and TP and
- 45:50Speaker 3: radio all the time. It was because they were trying
- 45:52Speaker 3: to paint the narrative, folks, And that is why the
- 45:54Speaker 3: BBC fired their two chief people, the two people in
- 45:57Speaker 3: charge of the entire network, who basically would have had
- 46:00Speaker 3: their job for life, but they got let go or
- 46:03Speaker 3: I'm sorry, they resigned on their own. That was translation
- 46:07Speaker 3: for if you leave on your own, we'll give you
- 46:09Speaker 3: a million dollars and you could go live in peace,
- 46:12Speaker 3: or will fire you, take you to court and you
- 46:13Speaker 3: get nothing. So they left on their own. Well, the
- 46:17Speaker 3: edit was responsible for a false Democrat narrative, Like I said,
- 46:21Speaker 3: that nearly cost Trump the twenty twenty four election. And
- 46:24Speaker 3: it is disgusting that they did it, but they got
- 46:26Speaker 3: away with it until now. Hopefully they will lose this
- 46:29Speaker 3: lawsuit or settle out of court if they're smart, and
- 46:32Speaker 3: President Trump can give that money that he will get
- 46:35Speaker 3: to a good conservative charity. Seven to ten w o R.

- 46:42Speaker 3: in for the great Mark Simone today. I hope Mark
- 46:44Speaker 3: is enjoying his holidays. Ah, the two faced Kathy. These
- 46:50Speaker 3: are my lips trying to get over the oversized caps
- 46:53Speaker 3: in my mouth right now. I'm sorry, that's mean. She's
- 46:56Speaker 3: getting tough on your behalf. Now, see she is Now
- 47:00Speaker 3: that con Edison explained to her why they are warning
- 47:03Speaker 3: customers there may be rolling blackouts through the year twenty
- 47:07Speaker 3: twenty six. She acts like this is a shock. Hey, Kathy,
- 47:13Speaker 3: how about when your liberal predecessor Andrew Cuomo ordered the
- 47:16Speaker 3: perfectly fine functioning Indian Point Nuclear Power plant to shut
- 47:20Speaker 3: down without a replacement. That eliminated twenty five percent of
- 47:24Speaker 3: all the power generating capacity for the entire region. At
- 47:28Speaker 3: the same time, you open the floodgates to a million
- 47:30Speaker 3: illegals in New York, declaring New York a sanctuary state. Well,
- 47:35Speaker 3: guess what. A million people use a lot of resources.
- 47:38Speaker 3: They live in homes, taking away those homes from citizens
- 47:42Speaker 3: looking for place to live. They clog highways at times
- 47:45Speaker 3: day and night. Their kids jam our classrooms and cost
- 47:49Speaker 3: us billions in school breakfast, lunch, and dinner programs. And
- 47:51Speaker 3: guess what else, Kathy, They flush toilets what ken, Yes,
- 47:56Speaker 3: that adds to the pressure of our water and sewer systems.
- 47:59Speaker 3: If you don't believe me, ask a plumber. A building
- 48:02Speaker 3: has an approximated capacity of toilet flushes per apartment, and
- 48:07Speaker 3: when all of a sudden, there are three times that
- 48:09Speaker 3: number of people living in an apartment, that puts a
- 48:11Speaker 3: strain on the system. Too much water is drawn and
- 48:14Speaker 3: too much water is flushed. Then come the AI companies,
- 48:18Speaker 3: cloud storage facilities, and tens of thousands of these liberal
- 48:22Speaker 3: electric vehicles plugging into charge up, and you get rolling blackouts. Kathie, duh.
- 48:27Speaker 3: How about having the illegals go home to wherever they
- 48:29Speaker 3: came from and building more reliable nuclear or fossil fuel
- 48:33Speaker 3: electric generating power plans, Miss Buffalo, I mean this is
- 48:36Speaker 3: not brain surgery, folks, This is an easy fix. These
- 48:39Speaker 3: problems are caused by liberals, but they shrug their shoulders
- 48:43Speaker 3: and then immediately blame somebody else for what is their
- 48:46Speaker 3: own fault. I mean, the same thing happened in New Jersey.
- 48:49Speaker 3: The reason why we've had two years of twenty percent
- 48:52Speaker 3: power increases. Is because Governor Murphy and the Democrats in
- 48:57Speaker 3: Trenton order the shutdown of six perfectly good power plants
- 49:02Speaker 3: because they're evil fossil fuel and one of them was
- 49:04Speaker 3: a nuclear plant. So you order them shut down before
- 49:07Speaker 3: you have new green plants built. What do you get
- 49:10Speaker 3: your short power?
- 49:11Speaker 7: Now?
- 49:12Speaker 3: The demand is high because of AI and cloud storage
- 49:15Speaker 3: and all the illegals eight hundred nine hundred thousand illegals
- 49:17Speaker 3: in New Jersey too. The demand is high, so the
- 49:20Speaker 3: cost per kilo out of electricity goes through the roof.
- 49:24Speaker 3: This is why it's not because we're part of this
- 49:27Speaker 3: regional grid. The whole grid is impacted when you add
- 49:30Speaker 3: millions of people whom you don't account for. But again,
- 49:33Speaker 3: this is what the Democrats do, and they guise it
- 49:36Speaker 3: as compassion. Meanwhile, screw you, you citizen, tax paying moron
- 49:41Speaker 3: middle finger to you. Just keep paying us, and keep

- 51:13Speaker 4: beware of scams out there because and also download the
- 51:19Speaker 4: app from your banks because recently my checking account was
- 51:24Speaker 4: scammed in October, but I didn't get the printed statement.
- 51:29Speaker 4: It was scammed towards the end of October, but I
- 51:32Speaker 4: didn't get the printed statement until December one, a couple
- 51:36Speaker 4: of weeks ago, and I went what And I looked
- 51:39Speaker 4: on it and what somebody actually did They put in
- 51:43Speaker 4: the withdrawal for my account as a pre approved with
- 51:48Speaker 4: Rural Now. I regially called up my back. I said, hey,
- 51:52Speaker 4: you know me, I don't do auto pay with anyone.
- 51:55Speaker 4: The only ones who will electronically cash your check Areity
- 52:00Speaker 4: company because they don't send somebody down to the bank.
- 52:03Speaker 4: But this person who ever did it, made a big mistake.
- 52:07Speaker 4: Because the anti fraud police are on the case. What
- 52:12Speaker 4: they did was I don't know how they got not
- 52:16Speaker 4: only my checking account number, but like the eband number,
- 52:19Speaker 4: all the numbers that are at the bottom of your
- 52:22Speaker 4: check besides your account. And with this fool, did I
- 52:27Speaker 4: know the person's name, and I'm not going to say
- 52:29Speaker 4: it because the investigators gave it to me. What this
- 52:33Speaker 4: person did was they bought something and they paid their bill.
- 52:39Speaker 4: They must have had bad credit because there are these
- 52:42Speaker 4: companies that you buy something from one of their pull
- 52:46Speaker 4: your Prove vendors and they they'll they'll advance the credit
- 52:52Speaker 4: on it and then you have to pay.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Them a secondary person.
- 52:57Speaker 4: Exactly. So this fool, this fool used the money that
- 53:02Speaker 4: they pilfit from my account to pay their credit card
- 53:07Speaker 4: bill with this. With this, it's not master Card or
- 53:11Speaker 4: anything did these these third party companies. It's not master
- 53:15Speaker 4: Card and it's not Visa. And my advice to anybody
- 53:19Speaker 4: is beware of these companies. That's all I could say.
- 53:23Speaker 4: And this fool made a mistake of pretty big several
- 53:29Speaker 4: thousand dollars. Ken's paying off their bill with my pilfit money.
- 53:33Speaker 3: And so did you get your money back at least
- 53:36Speaker 3: did they give it?
- 53:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm with God. Actually I'm sitting at my desk
- 53:40Speaker 4: and I'm rebalancing my checking accounts.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Hey, here's my advice to anybody who tries to rob
- 53:45Speaker 3: from Vincent. I wouldn't do that.
- 53:49Speaker 4: Exactly. Then, when I had to not only I had
- 53:53Speaker 4: to make a police report when I spoke to the
- 53:56Speaker 4: bank examiners, because when you go to the bank, they
- 54:00Speaker 4: send you to they call up there, insurers and everything,
- 54:03Speaker 4: and they backtracked the account all the activity. And the
- 54:07Speaker 4: person did it at eleven fifty nine PM, right before
- 54:11Speaker 4: the start of a new day. And so the bank
- 54:14Speaker 4: examiner says, do you know so and so this person
- 54:19Speaker 4: that did it? I said no, and so I also, Vincent.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Army to cut us, but we got news time. But listen,
- 54:28Speaker 3: I'm just glad you got your money back. And again
- 54:30Speaker 3: a merry, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. God bless you

- 54:45Speaker 3: Ken Rosatto inf Mark and it is now eleven thirty three.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Now more of the Mark Simone Show on seven to
- 54:52Speaker 1: ten woor filling in for Mark.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Here again is Ken.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Rosato and so good to be with you on this
- 54:59Speaker 3: ring Friday. It's windy, but Maya is it mild out
- 55:02Speaker 3: there today and the holidays are here. Let's face it,
- 55:05Speaker 3: we still have that one person to shop for who's
- 55:07Speaker 3: into tech stuff that we wish we knew about to
- 55:10Speaker 3: buy as a gift, or maybe we want some cool
- 55:13Speaker 3: tech gadgets to buy for ourselves. Brand and digital strategist Fisher,
- 55:17Speaker 3: who can be found at at Fisher on X and
- 55:20Speaker 3: Threads and at Fisher dot Media. We say Merry Christmas,
- 55:23Speaker 3: good morning, and welcome to the Mark Simone Show.
- 55:26Speaker 10: Good morning, Ken, how are you ah?
- 55:28Speaker 3: Little larynge iis okay?
- 55:29Speaker 10: Otherwise it's gonna say you sound you sounded great.
- 55:32Speaker 3: It's my Brenda the Caro impersonation. That's what it is.
- 55:35Speaker 3: So what are some cool tech gadgets that we may
- 55:38Speaker 3: not know about this year for the person who's into
- 55:40Speaker 3: cool tech stuff?
- 55:43Speaker 10: Absolutely?
- 55:43Speaker 9: First, I'm gonna just mention that if you have a
- 55:46Speaker 9: child or a teenager, Nintendo Switch to Mario Kart bundle
- 55:50Speaker 9: is still on sale at Walmart. You can get it
- 55:52Speaker 9: at Target, so you can still get these gifts, right.
- 55:55Speaker 9: But some cool things, as you mentioned, insta three P
- 55:58Speaker 9: sixty Link two. It's a webcam four K resolution, DSLR quality,
- 56:04Speaker 9: noise canceling.
- 56:05Speaker 10: And this is the great part, tracking and framing.
- 56:08Speaker 9: So if you're sitting in front of your computer during
- 56:10Speaker 9: doing zoom calls, it's one thing. And you can have
- 56:12Speaker 9: like a fixed camera if you will right, but this camera,
- 56:15Speaker 9: if you have to get up to do presentations, it
- 56:17Speaker 9: will track you, so it'll follow you if you stand up,
- 56:19Speaker 9: it'll zoom out, zoom in, if you move around to whiteboard,
- 56:23Speaker 9: things of that sort.
- 56:23Speaker 10: So great, great camera.
- 56:25Speaker 9: It's only about one hundred and fifty bucks, which is
- 56:27Speaker 9: pretty reasonable, and you can get it at insto three
- 56:29Speaker 9: sixty dot com. How about a drone anti gravity a
- 56:33Speaker 9: one drone? Get this eight K video on a drone
- 56:37Speaker 9: obstacle avoidance so you don't run into a tree of
- 56:40Speaker 9: building your house your dog. Six mile range comes with
- 56:45Speaker 9: a headset, grip controllers, so you're kind of playing it
- 56:47Speaker 9: like a video game and then you're looking at what
- 56:50Speaker 9: the drone sees in The headset comes with a battery,
- 56:52Speaker 9: a carry case, a carrying case you could get that.
- 56:54Speaker 10: At best Buy.
- 56:55Speaker 9: And something for the grandparents, maybe your parents. Ten inch
- 56:59Speaker 9: Wi Fi able digital photo frame. It's great. You can
- 57:02Speaker 9: update the pictures, you can you know, take them from
- 57:04Speaker 9: your phone and upload them into the photo frame. That's
- 57:06Speaker 9: it best by it's only about fifty nine bucks. But
- 57:09Speaker 9: there's plenty of deals also. Think of things like accessories,
- 57:12Speaker 9: AirPod Pro threes, pixel Buds, Pro twos, the Apple Watch
- 57:16Speaker 9: or pixel Watch, or even just something simple like a
- 57:19Speaker 9: tablet or laptop stand, privacy screens, and there's plenty of things.
- 57:23Speaker 9: You can go online, you can order it and then
- 57:26Speaker 9: just go pick it up. You don't have to, you know,
- 57:29Speaker 9: go through the store and you know, sit in the
- 57:31Speaker 9: aisles with everybody else that's looking for last minute gifts.
- 57:33Speaker 9: You can do a lot of it online and then
- 57:34Speaker 9: just pick up on the stores so you're not worried
- 57:36Speaker 9: about the shipping.
- 57:38Speaker 3: That is awesome. Seven to ten wore the Voice of
- 57:41Speaker 3: New York, Hen Rosato and from Mark on a Friday
- 57:43Speaker 3: smack dab in the middle of the holidays. Right now,
- 57:45Speaker 3: of course, we have a few days left of Hanukkah,
- 57:48Speaker 3: Christmas is only six days away, and we're speaking with
- 57:51Speaker 3: Fisher who can tell you all about everything tech and
- 57:55Speaker 3: he has some great advice here for us. So now
- 57:58Speaker 3: you've also talked about before going out shopping or even
- 58:01Speaker 3: doing shopping online to get credit cards for cash back
- 58:05Speaker 3: and deals before you a head to the store. So
- 58:06Speaker 3: talk about that.
- 58:08Speaker 9: Yeah, we talked about this on Black Friday and kind
- 58:10Speaker 9: of got a great response on it. So I'll mentioned
- 58:12Speaker 9: again for anybody who didn't hear that, show your credit
- 58:14Speaker 9: cards if you have one. Basically you have cash back rewards,
- 58:18Speaker 9: you have reward points that you can get. Capital One
- 58:21Speaker 9: has Capital One offers, amex offers, Bankomera deals, even discover
- 58:25Speaker 9: Card has cash bonuses. And the point of mentioning this
- 58:28Speaker 9: is before you go to the store, check the app,
- 58:31Speaker 9: check the website of your credit cards and see if
- 58:34Speaker 9: you go through the link in the app that you
- 58:36Speaker 9: get an extra five percent off or you get an
- 58:37Speaker 9: extra ten thousand membership rewards points. A company like Capital
- 58:42Speaker 9: one their credit card, they actually have an extension for
- 58:44Speaker 9: your browser, so as you go to websites, you don't
- 58:46Speaker 9: have to keep track of all of it.
- 58:48Speaker 10: It will tell you.
- 58:48Speaker 9: It'll say, hey, there's an offer here for five percent
- 58:51Speaker 9: cash back if you use your Capital one card. Rakuten
- 58:54Speaker 9: is a great a resource as well, and they have
- 58:56Speaker 9: a browser extension you can use, and that's fantastic. And
- 59:00Speaker 9: I also want to mention that if you have a
- 59:04Speaker 9: credit card or anything. Really look to burn your perks
- 59:08Speaker 9: by the end of the year. A lot of your
- 59:10Speaker 9: credit cards offer perks like TSCA, pre Check Global Entry,
- 59:14Speaker 9: Clear Membership. You know they'll cover the cost if you
- 59:17Speaker 9: just sign up a resi so Rezi is an online
- 59:20Speaker 9: restaurant reservation and American Express offers one hundred dollars a
- 59:25Speaker 9: quarter if credit you got to burn that sacks fifth
- 59:27Speaker 9: avenue credit on an American Express. Think airline incidental credits too.
- 59:31Speaker 9: As you travel, make sure you bring that credit card
- 59:33Speaker 9: that you're gonna be able to take care of the
- 59:34Speaker 9: baggage fee or the lounge fees, drink tickets in your
- 59:38Speaker 9: airline app if you get those through your credit card,
- 59:41Speaker 9: and think of things that you wouldn't normally think of,
- 59:44Speaker 9: meaning a Clear membership has discounts, so check the Clear
- 59:47Speaker 9: app and you get a discount on Uber one or
- 59:49Speaker 9: forty nine dollars off an or ring. And then also,
- 59:52Speaker 9: of course you know your Starbucks points expire at the
- 59:55Speaker 9: end of the month, dunkin Donuts, whatever it is, this
- 59:57Speaker 9: is the end of the year, not just the end
- 59:59Speaker 9: of the month, it's the end of a quarter, it's
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: the end of the year. So think of those because
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: all of this will expire by the end of the
- 1:00:07Speaker 9: next week, right, so two weeks from now actually, And
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: so you want to burn all these points because you're paying,
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: in some cases a large annual fee on a credit card.
- 1:00:16Speaker 10: Make sure you take advantage of it.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Wow, that is all amazing advice. And I know you
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: have this all on your website, Fisher dot Media. So
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: if anybody saying, wait, this all sounds great, but I'm
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: driving and I can't write it down, don't worry about it.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: You can do that. You can check it out there.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Let me ask you. Did you get all your holiday
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: shopping done?
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: Absolutely not, But there are great deals and it's great
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: like I was thinking about for my mom, and there's
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: such great deals on televisions now two hundred three hundred
- 1:00:44Speaker 9: dollars for seventy five inch TVs at Walmart, Costco, Best Buy,
- 1:00:48Speaker 9: pick a store. It's easy to walk in and grab
- 1:00:51Speaker 9: one of those deals. So I feel confident now. If
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: we talk on Tuesday, I will feel less confident. But
- 1:00:56Speaker 9: as of right now, going into the weekend, I'm feeling good.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: This is a Fisher comes on our other show that
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: we do in New Jersey and Fisher always has this
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: great advice, and almost inevitably I will ask did you
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: do this for yourself and say no. So Fisher's great
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: at giving advice, but terrible at doing it himself. He's
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: do as I'd say, don't do as I do.
- 1:01:16Speaker 9: Except for the password stuff. You're the one with password
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: one two three four as your passwords.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Well thanks for sharing.
- 1:01:21Speaker 10: Well, I mean you did it on TV. I figured
- 1:01:23Speaker 10: it was open listen.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: I think if if the company gives you the product
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: with the word password as the password, why should you
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: bother changing it? I mean they did you make it's
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: fine exactly you know or just you know abc D
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: one two three four. I mean, there's nothing. People people
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: make fun of me because I still have on my
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Instagram I still have some certain letters that are connected
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: to a previous employer. Hey, why take the time to
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: change it? It works.
- 1:01:51Speaker 10: There are many other ways that people make fun of you.
- 1:01:53Speaker 10: But yeah, that's what.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Has nothing to do with the funny hats that I wear.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: All right, amazing, So what other advice you have? So
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: you talked about Clear? I just, by the way, just
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: a heads up that when I just renewed my clear recently,
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: I wasn't sure which of the credit cards I had
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: used previously, and I just did a search engine. We're
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: a search and ask which credit cards give you free
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Clear or free TSA pre Check, and they're like ten
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: popped up. Yeah, I had one of those cards.
- 1:02:22Speaker 10: Yeah, And you can even go into the dashboard.
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: Usually it's the website because it has more landscape for
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: you to see and like American Express tracks, so say
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: in American Express Platinum cards gives you a streaming credits
- 1:02:33Speaker 9: per month, you could actually go in and see how
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: many credits I've used or how many dollars in that case,
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: or have I used my saxpith Ave and you know
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: I used in the first half of the year. I
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: still had fifty bucks before the end of the year.
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: So a lot of your credit cards will kind of
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: give you that heads up. And in addition, say you
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: have a TSA pre Check or a Clear or a
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: Global Entry, you know, thing to spend, and they the
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: spend is usually once every three years on credit cards,
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: like once you spend it, because you're only going to
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: get a membership once every three years or five years
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: for pre Check. So but yes, almost every credit card
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: at this point offers a TSA pre check credit.
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: And again if you're a member of.
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: A Delta, sky Miles et cetera American Airlines advantage, you
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: also probably get a discount unclear or pre check, so
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: check those as well. It's a great way to also
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: get memberships for your entire family by using different credit cards.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: Yeah, and also you get on those credit cards from
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: the airlines like I have United and Jet Blue. Can
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: you get certain discounts on drinks and food and whatnot
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: on those planes by using their credit card on the
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: plane to make a purchase. So, but a lot of
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: that you.
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: Get a lit Yeah, and check flight credits that you
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: might have if you got bumped from a flight or
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: you cancel the flight, may.
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: It expire expired?
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: I've had that before and I saw four hundred bucks
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: from a Delta sky Miles account go away. So I
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: definitely check that and it makes it you know, set
- 1:03:56Speaker 9: reminders on your phone. I started doing that because of
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: all the different perks that you have to burn by
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: the end of a month or a quarter year. So
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: I started making reminders on my phone that I just
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: as I use the twenty five dollars resume credit on
- 1:04:08Speaker 9: my Delta reserve card.
- 1:04:09Speaker 10: I mark it off and then it resets for the
- 1:04:11Speaker 10: next month.
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: And you should get in the habit of that because
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: for the amount of money you're paying for your credit cards,
- 1:04:15Speaker 9: in some cases, you need to make sure that you're
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: using all of the perks to benefit the annual fee.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Right, that's one of the reasons you pay for that.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: You are paying for it. You might as well take
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: advantage of the Bennies brand table. No, absolutely not. Brandon
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: digital strategist Fisher who can be found that at Fisher
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: on X and threads and at Fisher dot media if
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: you want all those tips and those wonderful ideas Fisher
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: dot Media. Thanks for coming on this morning, sir Mary Chris,
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: Merry Christmas again, thank you. Some morning rain, even some thunder.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: It'll be very windy all day, becoming partly cloudy later.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: Highs in the mid fifties again, very very windy wind.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: Adviceory in effect, Ken Risotto and from Mark on your
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: Friday one eight hundred and three to two one zero
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: ten one eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: will squeeze in a call or two next seven to
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: ten wr We are coming right back.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone show on seven ten WI
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: came from Mark Today.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Here's Kenler's.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: It's so good to be with you once again. Last
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: couple of minutes here if you want to give us
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: a call at eight hundred three to two one zero
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: seven ten, eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: we could squeeze in one more call in the meantime.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: I don't know if you saw this. The MTA is
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: crying poverty once again, and they want to hike tolls
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: and congestion pricing once again to cover their budget gap,
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: while tens of thousands of people are still jumping turnstiles
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: every day. So unlike President Trump, who has covered the
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: hole which is the southern border by building the wall
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: to prevent illegals from streaming across, and now he could
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: take care of people who are here illegally and get
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: some people to leave on their own or deport them,
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: the MTA continues to bleed income because people just jump
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: over the turnstiles every day. They're doing nothing about it.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: They tried to put up these little silly fins. It
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: costs like seven million dollars. Nobody I guess tested it.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: So people are just jumping over those coming in free.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: And again we're losing four hundred million dollars that we
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: know of a year, and they continue to look to
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: others to make up the difference in money. Let's go
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: to our phones, Dan and Merrick. Good morning to you.
- 1:06:30Speaker 11: Happy holidays, Happy holidays, kind of pleasure talking.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: To you likewise.
- 1:06:36Speaker 11: Okay, listen, I want to tell you quit it's about
- 1:06:38Speaker 11: the city and stuff and workers. I came from a
- 1:06:40Speaker 11: friend of mine that's a professional out here, a doctor,
- 1:06:43Speaker 11: not a psychiatrist, a regular doctor. But he had it
- 1:06:46Speaker 11: for me that a lot of his, well a lot
- 1:06:48Speaker 11: of police are going to be retiring at the end
- 1:06:50Speaker 11: of the year, a lot in the thousands. And he
- 1:06:53Speaker 11: had told me that a lot of them the last
- 1:06:55Speaker 11: six months have kind of been like hiding out.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: And that is we had to cut you because we're
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: down to our last ten seconds here. But yes, don't
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: be surprised. You will see a massive decrease in the
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: number of police. And that's exactly what zoron Mumdani wants. Unfortunately,
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: New Yorkers are going to suffer. You're going to see
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: crime go up, You're going to see homelessness everywhere. And
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: this is what you get when you vote super liberal
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: Democrat folks. Unfortunately, Well, thank you so much to Mark,
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: Thank you to war for letting me sit in today.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: I'm Ken Rosotto. I'll be in for Larry Mente on
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Monday morning. Don't Go Anywhere. Buck Sexon and Clay Travis
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: are upperhead at three o'clock. The most listened to radio
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: talk show in America, Sean Hannity, Jesse Kelly's on at six,
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: Jimmy fails On at nine. Mark's in, of course every
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: weekday ten to noon. And if you want to hear
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: more of Mark, all you have to do is check
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: out his podcast at seven to ten wor dot com
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: slash Mark Bugging Clay after the News. Have a great day,
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: happy holidays, and a great weekend. From WR
