- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know. Hey, hello, good morning.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Thank you for starting your Tuesday with us. We're just
- 0:05Speaker 2: getting settled over here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things
- 0:08Speaker 2: presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Daredevil Born Again is going to end with season three
- 0:12Speaker 3: on Disney +. This series is a continuation of the
- 0:15Speaker 3: Netflix series that ran for three seasons until 2018. Disney
- 0:19Speaker 3: started Born Again two years ago, and it turns out
- 0:23Speaker 3: that Marvel quietly parted ways with the showrunner, whose contract
- 0:26Speaker 3: was up and not renewed. But it looks like season
- 0:28Speaker 3: three is in the final stages of post-production, with the
- 0:31Speaker 3: expectation of it hitting streaming by some point in 2027.
- 0:35Speaker 3: But then it's done. Tennessee Homeland Security is warning us
- 0:41Speaker 3: of a new automated call scam. These are getting more
- 0:44Speaker 3: and more intense. So please be careful for who you
- 0:48Speaker 3: answer the phone for. The Tennessee Department of Safety and
- 0:51Speaker 3: Homeland Security said there is a new automated call scam
- 0:54Speaker 3: claiming to be from their department. They want to make
- 0:57Speaker 3: it clear that they do not ask you for money.
- 1:00Speaker 3: They never will ask you for money. If you get
- 1:03Speaker 3: a phone call like that, you should immediately hang up
- 1:05Speaker 3: and report it at IC3. dot gov so they know
- 1:10Speaker 3: how to track you know how many people they're calling
- 1:13Speaker 3: but please be careful don't answer numbers that you don't
- 1:16Speaker 3: know i never do there's no reason to unless you're
- 1:19Speaker 3: expecting someone who you don't know their number to be
- 1:21Speaker 3: calling you just don't answer the phone because a lot
- 1:24Speaker 3: of them are scammers so just don't even give them
- 1:27Speaker 3: the time of day And fall officially starts tonight. It
- 1:31Speaker 3: will specifically start tonight at 7.05 p.m. This is normally
- 1:35Speaker 3: where I would add some fun fall things for you
- 1:37Speaker 3: to do, like take a casual stroll outside, get a
- 1:39Speaker 3: pumpkin spice latte this morning, watch Gilmore Girls. But it
- 1:44Speaker 3: doesn't feel like fall. It feels like hell outside. And
- 1:46Speaker 3: I'm bitter about it. So stay home. Boycott pumpkin spice.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Don't watch Gilmore Girls. It'll just make you sad.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Don't take it out on Gilmore Girls.
- 1:53Speaker 3: It's just going to make you sad. You're just going
- 1:55Speaker 3: to go, oh, this is what fall normally feels like.
- 1:58Speaker 3: This is what I should be doing. I should be
- 2:00Speaker 3: wearing sweaters and scarves and be frolicking outside without the
- 2:04Speaker 3: thought of sweating and possibly passing out. But we can't
- 2:07Speaker 3: do that yet. Okay. So even though it's fall, it's
- 2:10Speaker 3: not really fall.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Understood.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 2:13Speaker 3: need to know. The fourth thing is that I am
- 2:15Speaker 3: so mad about the weather right now.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Well, thank you, Ricky. I'm sorry.
- 2:20Speaker 2: We announced yesterday that we are bringing a Jingle Ball
- 2:22Speaker 2: to Nashville. 107.5 The River's Jingle Ball presented by Capital
- 2:25Speaker 2: One is happening. We're making all the big announcements on Friday.
- 2:30Speaker 2: The details, the who, the what, the when, the where.
- 2:33Speaker 2: But you can get into that little announcement party of
- 2:36Speaker 2: ours if you're the first caller of the day.
- 2:37Speaker 4: We'll ask for you to call in about 10.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Hang on. Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 2:43Speaker 3: On 107.5 The River. It's Ricky, Zach, and Mano in
- 2:46Speaker 3: the morning on 107.5 The River. Welcoming Jessica, I want
- 2:50Speaker 3: to say Jessica, and then I want to say Erica.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Jerrica in Murfreesboro, welcome to 107.5 The River. Where does
- 2:57Speaker 3: your name come from, since I can't seem to get
- 2:59Speaker 3: it straight?
- 3:00Speaker 5: So all of my siblings were J's, and my parents,
- 3:04Speaker 5: I guess, T's. They didn't come up with it, but
- 3:06Speaker 5: that's what they told me.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:08Speaker 5: I do have a sister named Jessica, so it's really funny.
- 3:11Speaker 6: I've been called Jessica my whole life, and I'm like, no,
- 3:13Speaker 6: that's my sister.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. Hey, does auto-correct change your name to Erica?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I do love the fact that.
- 3:21Speaker 7: Your parents are so committed to the bit that they
- 3:23Speaker 7: were like, you know what? We are not getting rid
- 3:25Speaker 7: of the J names.
- 3:26Speaker 4: It is not Erica. It's Jerrica, and I love that.
- 3:29Speaker 6: Yeah, no, we love it. And we continued it with
- 3:32Speaker 6: our kids. Oh, I love that.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Okay, so what are their names? They're all J's too.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Yeah, so my nephew was the first.
- 3:39Speaker 3: He's Jaden.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Then there's Jackson. My son's Jace.
- 3:43Speaker 6: And then I do have two brothers, Jason and James.
- 3:46Speaker 4: So yeah, we're just all the J's.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Dang. I love it.
- 3:50Speaker 3: That's fantastic. I do love also that they kind of
- 3:53Speaker 3: created their own name, even though there are plenty of
- 3:55Speaker 3: J names they could have won with. Jennifer, for instance. Jackie.
- 4:01Speaker 2: But Jerrica, you can probably relate to Ricky in that
- 4:03Speaker 2: when you were a kid, you could never find like
- 4:04Speaker 2: a personalized license plate or anything in like.
- 4:06Speaker 4: A gift shop.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Never.
- 4:09Speaker 3: The worst. And that's why I feel so bad that
- 4:11Speaker 3: I called you Erica originally. And then I called you
- 4:14Speaker 3: all these other different things because that's what happens to me.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Everybody calls me Vicky, Nikki, anything but my actual name.
- 4:20Speaker 3: So I'm sorry, Jerrica. I answer to whatever.
- 4:22Speaker 5: I answer to whatever.
- 4:24Speaker 7: Erica, I get it.
- 4:26Speaker 6: Like, I didn't answer to it.
- 4:27Speaker 7: I'm like, yep, that's me.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Well, now I'm never going to forget. Now you're always
- 4:31Speaker 3: going to be Jerrica. I'll never forget.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:33Speaker 3: It is so nice to talk to you this morning, Jerrica.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Did you hear our big announcement yesterday that we're bringing
- 4:38Speaker 3: a Jingle Ball to Nashville?
- 4:40Speaker 4: Yeah, super excited. Hopefully, I will be able to go.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Okay, well, to start, you are the first caller of
- 4:46Speaker 3: the day, so you are going to come to our
- 4:49Speaker 3: lineup announcement party this Friday. And while you're there, you'll
- 4:53Speaker 3: have a chance to win tickets to come to Jingle Ball.
- 4:56Speaker 3: But you're going to hear the lineup before anybody else does.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Yay, yeah.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all going to be hanging out at the
- 5:01Speaker 2: station on Friday. We're going to have breakfast. We're going
- 5:03Speaker 2: to party. And yeah, you might win the first pair
- 5:06Speaker 2: of tickets for the first ever Jingle Ball in Nashville.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 5:09Speaker 6: I'm looking forward to it.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Thank you so much for hanging out with us, Jerrica.
- 5:12Speaker 3: We appreciate you. Hang on the line for just one second, okay, love?
- 5:15Speaker 6: Okay.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It was originally called the Ingle Ball, but then her
- 5:18Speaker 2: parents got involved, and here we are.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Oh, jingle ball.
- 5:21Speaker 3: He was working that in his head for so long,
- 5:26Speaker 3: just waiting for us to stop talking.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I promise you, I thought of it as I said it,
- 5:30Speaker 2: and I had regrets as it was coming out of
- 5:32Speaker 2: my mouth.
- 5:33Speaker 7: I'm not going to lie, I was the entire time
- 5:35Speaker 7: thinking if Ricky was part of her family that your
- 5:37Speaker 7: name would be Jicky, and.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I like it.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Ricky goes to more weddings than a caterer.
- 5:46Speaker 4: It's 107.5 The River.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Zach.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I get paid for it.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Apparently, Zach has one coming. You're not getting married yourself,
- 5:51Speaker 2: are you, Zach? Absolutely not. Okay, so it's not about
- 5:54Speaker 2: his wedding. It's about a wedding that he'll be attending,
- 5:56Speaker 2: and he has a question for Ricky.
- 5:58Speaker 7: Yeah, so, Ricky, you, again, go to every single wedding
- 6:00Speaker 7: of anybody you've ever met, including, like, your third-grade teacher.
- 6:05Speaker 7: So I am in my very first wedding this weekend, like,
- 6:08Speaker 7: actually in the bridal party. I am so anxious, but
- 6:11Speaker 7: I just was like, I need your help on what
- 6:13Speaker 7: are things that I can do to help the bride
- 6:15Speaker 7: be less stressed out on day of.
- 6:17Speaker 3: That's really sweet. Okay. I would say ask all of
- 6:21Speaker 3: the questions that you need to know prior to day of.
- 6:24Speaker 3: So if you need to know, obviously, you know what
- 6:26Speaker 3: color you need to wear. You have what you're going
- 6:28Speaker 3: to wear. That's already done.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yep.
- 6:29Speaker 3: But if you need to know, like if you're going
- 6:32Speaker 3: to eat breakfast together or lunch together or if she
- 6:35Speaker 3: needs like champagne or, Things like that. Ask prior to
- 6:39Speaker 3: the day of because the day of so many people
- 6:42Speaker 3: are going to be asking her so many questions. It's
- 6:44Speaker 3: going to absolutely stress her out.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Good idea.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Everybody from like her caterer to her photographer to her
- 6:50Speaker 3: friends to her parents to everybody. So ask all the
- 6:53Speaker 3: questions that you need to know prior. That's the number
- 6:55Speaker 3: one thing. And then I would say number two, make
- 6:58Speaker 3: sure that like she has everything that she needs in
- 7:01Speaker 3: the sense of drinking a lot of water. A lot
- 7:03Speaker 3: of brides forget to drink water. A lot of brides
- 7:06Speaker 3: forget to eat food. So make sure that she eats
- 7:08Speaker 3: breakfast in the morning.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Oh, put me on snack duty. I will nail that one.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Because they forget because they're so busy. Also, kind of,
- 7:16Speaker 3: if you really want to make sure that she doesn't
- 7:18Speaker 3: stress out, make sure that you are kind of fielding
- 7:20Speaker 3: everybody else. I know that's like a big, tough job.
- 7:23Speaker 3: I've done it before. It's not easy.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 3: But everybody else that's in the bridal party, make sure
- 7:28Speaker 3: that if anybody needs anything, like they come to you
- 7:30Speaker 3: or to like the maid of honor, not the bride.
- 7:34Speaker 4: That makes sense.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Nobody go to the bride for anything that you need.
- 7:39Speaker 4: A bride buffer. Have somebody field all the questions.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Field those questions. And if there's two of you, that's
- 7:44Speaker 3: a lot easier than one of you because one of you, ooh,
- 7:48Speaker 3: been there, done that.
- 7:48Speaker 4: It is not fun.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I'm like.
- 7:51Speaker 7: So excited because this is my first time ever being
- 7:54Speaker 7: in a bridal party for somebody's wedding.
- 7:56Speaker 3: The first time's always exciting.
- 7:57Speaker 4: I'm so pumped about it.
- 7:58Speaker 3: The 18th time, not so much.
- 7:59Speaker 2: You know what I would also do, Zach? I would,
- 8:03Speaker 2: maybe it's the radio in me, but have a playlist
- 8:05Speaker 2: ready to go. A playlist of all her favorite songs.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Good idea, yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, this is.
- 8:08Speaker 6: A good idea.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Okay. Good idea, Kev.
- 8:11Speaker 7: Wow, look at you coming in clutch, Kevin.
- 8:14Speaker 3: But that's how she's going to be the least amount
- 8:16Speaker 3: of stress is like somebody's handling basically all of the
- 8:19Speaker 3: questions and the questions crap that she doesn't want to
- 8:22Speaker 3: deal with.
- 8:23Speaker 7: Let her just enjoy the day.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Yeah, she should be focused on having the moment to
- 8:27Speaker 3: soak everything in, the fact that she is surrounded by
- 8:29Speaker 3: all of her favorite people right then and there, getting
- 8:31Speaker 3: ready for her biggest day, and the fact that she's
- 8:34Speaker 3: about to marry the love of her life. Those should
- 8:36Speaker 3: be all the things that she's worried about, quote unquote.
- 8:38Speaker 3: She should not be worried about everybody else's Fair enough.
- 8:42Speaker 4: I'm ready for this.
- 8:42Speaker 3: I'm taking it on.
- 8:43Speaker 4: You're going to kill it, Zach.
- 8:45Speaker 3: I'm ready.
- 8:46Speaker 2: How many members of the wedding party with you?
- 8:48Speaker 1: 12.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 8:50Speaker 3: See, that's why I'm saying one person handling it is
- 8:54Speaker 3: not very easy.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 7: 12 including the bride. So 11 bridesmaids.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Yikes.
- 9:00Speaker 3: That's why you should for sure help the maid of
- 9:03Speaker 3: honor field those questions. anybody needs anything they go to
- 9:06Speaker 3: you or the maid of honor that would be super.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Helpful deal a lot easier than i expected.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Make sure that her champagne glass if she's drinking champagne
- 9:14Speaker 3: or whatever she's drinking is always.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Full champagne and water easy within reason.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yes within reason because if she starts if you see
- 9:21Speaker 3: that she starts to get a little tipsy hold back
- 9:23Speaker 3: the champagne switch to water three things you.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Need to know just after seven o'clock on this tuesday
- 9:29Speaker 2: morning so glad you're here with us ricky sanchez has
- 9:31Speaker 2: those three things for you presented by mark spain real estate.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Channing Tatum wants you to know that he does not
- 9:36Speaker 3: have a burner account on Instagram. There is a whole
- 9:40Speaker 3: theory going around. It's as wild and as insane as
- 9:44Speaker 3: it like seems like it is. But there is a
- 9:47Speaker 3: specific account. It's called at business. Nanya is the name
- 9:52Speaker 3: of the account. They've been leaving comments about his ex-fiancee
- 9:55Speaker 3: Zoe and her new fiance Harry Styles. And they're not
- 9:59Speaker 3: the nicest comments. So everybody thought, oh my gosh, this
- 10:03Speaker 3: is really weird. This person keeps popping up. Then they
- 10:06Speaker 3: saw when you click on that account that Channing Tatum
- 10:10Speaker 3: follows it. So they all assumed this was his burner
- 10:13Speaker 3: account and that he's really bitter about Zoe Kravitz moving
- 10:16Speaker 3: on from him so that he's taking all of his
- 10:18Speaker 3: time to comment all of these things. But now he's
- 10:21Speaker 3: posted to his Instagram stories to set the record straight.
- 10:24Speaker 3: He let everybody know that's not his burner account. And
- 10:26Speaker 3: basically it said, like, I'm not dumb enough to follow
- 10:29Speaker 3: my account from my burner account if I had one.
- 10:33Speaker 3: He also said, like, obviously I'm not sitting around wasting
- 10:36Speaker 3: my time doing that. But a lot of people are
- 10:38Speaker 3: so convinced that it could be him. Interesting. Tanger Outlets
- 10:42Speaker 3: is hosting a shoe recycling event this Saturday. You can
- 10:45Speaker 3: drop off footwear of any kind, size, or condition at
- 10:48Speaker 3: The Green from 2 to 5 p.m. Donations are going
- 10:51Speaker 3: to be repurposed into materials that are going to be
- 10:53Speaker 3: used for soft play surfaces. So it's all going to
- 10:56Speaker 3: a great cause. It's a great way to open up
- 10:58Speaker 3: some space in your home. I have a lot of
- 11:00Speaker 3: shoes that I plan on donating because I definitely don't
- 11:03Speaker 3: wear them anymore. And I've realized that I don't wear
- 11:05Speaker 3: them anymore. And as much as I like to keep
- 11:06Speaker 3: everything because I'm a little bit of a hoarder, I
- 11:09Speaker 3: need to give them up. So if you have any
- 11:10Speaker 3: kind of shoes like that, donate them. It's all going
- 11:13Speaker 3: to a good cause. And Toys R Us is opening
- 11:16Speaker 3: 120 brick and mortar stores. Toys R Us already operates
- 11:20Speaker 3: inside of Macy's stores. That's how they've kind of brought
- 11:23Speaker 3: them back to life. But this new plan would bring
- 11:25Speaker 3: standalone stores nationwide. They have yet to release a full
- 11:30Speaker 3: list of the 120 new locations. But they are saying
- 11:33Speaker 3: that they're expecting to open in some areas before the holidays. I...
- 11:38Speaker 3: love this i'm also nervous i.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Know i hope it's a good idea i feel like
- 11:42Speaker 2: it's not but i really i would love to see
- 11:44Speaker 2: toys r us's.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Thrive i agree toys r us was like oh my
- 11:48Speaker 3: god my dream when i was young the moment that
- 11:51Speaker 3: my mom would say yes we can go to toys
- 11:53Speaker 3: r us the way my brother and i would lose
- 11:55Speaker 3: our minds running through the entire toy store just like
- 11:58Speaker 3: picking up things playing things pressing buttons oh my god
- 12:01Speaker 3: it was heaven on earth But I do worry that
- 12:04Speaker 3: this may be the absolute end of Toys R Us
- 12:06Speaker 3: if they do this. So fingers crossed it works out
- 12:08Speaker 3: really well for them. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are
- 12:10Speaker 3: the three things you need to know.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Thank you, Ricky.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I have these memories of my mom would take us
- 12:14Speaker 2: with her when she would go, like, Christmas shopping for
- 12:16Speaker 2: us around the holidays, but she would put her coat
- 12:19Speaker 2: over all the presents in the cart. She would tell
- 12:20Speaker 2: us to go, like, go run around and play, and
- 12:23Speaker 2: she'd be pushing the cart around with her coat over
- 12:24Speaker 2: all the presents.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Wow, you guys are very easy to trick.
- 12:28Speaker 4: I guess we were.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:30Speaker 4: I never peaked. I never peaked.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Here's Bruno Mars getting back into the music.
- 12:34Speaker 4: We're going to learn together right after the sun. Zach's
- 12:37Speaker 4: Facts next.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Class is in session.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Zach's Facts. Brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 12:44Speaker 3: On 107.5 The River.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Well, happy official first day of fall. How exciting is that?
- 12:49Speaker 4: So I have a fall fact for you.
- 12:50Speaker 7: Did you guys know that the sky is actually a
- 12:52Speaker 7: more rich blue in fall and winter? And it's all
- 12:56Speaker 7: because of the sun's position. So as the sun gets
- 12:58Speaker 7: lower and lower in the sky, like closer to the equator,
- 13:02Speaker 7: the angle of the sun's lights hitting the atmosphere causes
- 13:05Speaker 7: a more blue sky.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Ah, I like that a lot.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Can you say that word one more time?
- 13:09Speaker 2: Really appreciated the way you said the middle of the earth.
- 13:11Speaker 2: What is that line called?
- 13:12Speaker 4: The equator.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I love it.
- 13:14Speaker 4: What else is it?
- 13:15Speaker 3: That's exactly what it is, Zach. Thank you so much
- 13:18Speaker 3: for teaching us about that. That was all fascinating.
- 13:20Speaker 4: There's your fact of the day.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 13:24Speaker 2: What is something you can identify just by the sound
- 13:28Speaker 2: it makes? You just hear a sound, you know exactly
- 13:30Speaker 2: what's happening. It's 107.5, the river. I can tell which
- 13:33Speaker 2: one of my children is walking around upstairs. Which one
- 13:35Speaker 2: is louder?
- 13:36Speaker 3: That's kind of creepy to me.
- 13:38Speaker 4: My son. Well, it's because my daughter is just, you know.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Like a normal 10-year-old girl, but my son is a
- 13:43Speaker 2: normal 8-year-old boy that runs everywhere he goes.
- 13:46Speaker 4: And he stomps.
- 13:47Speaker 3: That makes sense.
- 13:47Speaker 4: He stomps everywhere.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Easy way to know the difference. Okay, that makes sense
- 13:54Speaker 3: to me.
- 13:54Speaker 1: 615-737-9107.
- 13:55Speaker 3: If you have something that you can identify just from
- 13:58Speaker 3: the sound it makes.
- 14:00Speaker 1: 1075, the river.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning. Christina in Nashville,
- 14:04Speaker 3: welcome to 1075, the river. Kevin has this weird thing
- 14:08Speaker 3: where he can tell which kids are walking around his
- 14:11Speaker 3: house from the sound. What's something that you can identify
- 14:14Speaker 3: just from the sound that it makes?
- 14:16Speaker 5: A French bulldog. what do you mean absolutely they sound
- 14:21Speaker 5: like a crying baby.
- 14:25Speaker 2: So if you hear a dog if you hear a
- 14:27Speaker 2: dog somewhere you'll know if it's a french bulldog.
- 14:30Speaker 6: Oh yeah like my kids one time.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Were wondering about a neighbor's house like what.
- 14:34Speaker 6: Is that noise and i'm like oh that's a french
- 14:36Speaker 6: bulldog because.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Their barks aren't barks they're more like a.
- 14:40Speaker 6: Kind of vibe right Right, and they kind of, like,
- 14:44Speaker 6: make this whiny, cryy, ridiculous sound.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Okay, as much as I appreciated Ricky's impression, can we
- 14:51Speaker 2: hear yours?
- 14:51Speaker 4: Because it sounds like you have it dialed in.
- 14:53Speaker 6: Oh, no, no, absolutely not.
- 14:57Speaker 3: The best you were going to get was mine. I
- 14:59Speaker 3: can hear them coming just because of how loud their
- 15:01Speaker 3: mouths are. Like, their jaws and, like, their, like, breathing
- 15:04Speaker 3: and everything.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Like, they're just loud dogs.
- 15:07Speaker 2: You know, it's another sound, Christina, another sound I can
- 15:09Speaker 2: tell as soon as it happens, I know exactly what
- 15:11Speaker 2: it is, is a phone hitting the ground. Like, you know,
- 15:15Speaker 2: people drop stuff all the time, but if it's a phone,
- 15:16Speaker 2: you know exactly what it is, and it makes your.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Skin crawl a little bit because you hope that it
- 15:20Speaker 4: didn't break. Oh, yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 5: You, like, feel it in your bones, and you're like, ooh,
- 15:24Speaker 5: that's bad.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I thought that was going to be specific to Kevin
- 15:26Speaker 3: because he's so addicted to his phone that it falling
- 15:29Speaker 3: out of his hand and breaking is his worst nightmare,
- 15:31Speaker 3: but I guess you also feel that, Christina.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. I mean, my kids have been through so
- 15:37Speaker 5: many phones.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Oh, so you're thinking, oh, no, I got to buy
- 15:40Speaker 3: another phone? Exactly.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Always get the AppleCare. Thank you for calling, Christina.
- 15:46Speaker 6: Have a great day.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Bye, love.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Zach, you have a similar trait to Kevin. You can
- 15:51Speaker 3: tell who's walking based off of their steps as well.
- 15:54Speaker 7: Yeah, like at work, I can tell which person is
- 15:57Speaker 7: about to come around the corner based on like if
- 15:58Speaker 7: their heel is clapping or how fast they're walking. Like
- 16:01Speaker 7: I can typically tell who's about to come around the corner.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Wild. A great skill to have because, you know.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Keeps you on your toes.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you know when to stop talking when certain people
- 16:10Speaker 3: are walking.
- 16:11Speaker 4: You can hear Howard coming, breathing like a French bulldog.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Yeah. 615-737-9107.
- 16:15Speaker 2: If you have something, you can identify an unmistakable sound.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Hannah is on the phone right now. Hannah in Mount Pleasant.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Welcome to 107.5 The River. Hannah, we've been talking about
- 16:30Speaker 2: unmistakable sounds, sounds you can identify just based on hearing it.
- 16:34Speaker 4: Do you have an example?
- 16:36Speaker 5: Yes, my dad's cough. So growing up, if he needed
- 16:39Speaker 5: to get our attention or something, he would just do
- 16:41Speaker 5: this significant cough. So now anytime I hear his cough
- 16:44Speaker 5: or a cough like that, I'm immediately looking around to
- 16:47Speaker 5: see where my dad is because I know it's him.
- 16:50Speaker 6: I don't care if I didn't know he.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Was at the store with me. I just know it's him.
- 16:55Speaker 4: What does it sound like? Can you do the cough?
- 16:57Speaker 7: I mean, I can try.
- 16:58Speaker 5: It's more of just like a, ahem, type thing. If
- 17:01Speaker 5: that came through on the phone.
- 17:03Speaker 6: Okay.
- 17:03Speaker 3: With purpose, though. Yeah.
- 17:06Speaker 5: But it was never like, like you're in trouble type cough.
- 17:09Speaker 5: It was just a, hey, look over here, without making
- 17:12Speaker 5: a singing type cough.
- 17:13Speaker 3: It's interesting.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Just so we knew to get our attention.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Very Pavlovian, like Pavlov's dog. Like you've been trained since
- 17:19Speaker 2: a young age to respond to that exact specific sound.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Pretty wild, Hannah. I'm impressed.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Well, thanks.
- 17:27Speaker 3: And thank you for calling in and for hanging out
- 17:28Speaker 3: with us. We appreciate you. Of course.
- 17:30Speaker 5: Y'all have a great day.
- 17:31Speaker 4: You too, Hannah.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Another one that I thought of, my son loves these
- 17:35Speaker 2: little chocolatey granola bars, and if he was left on
- 17:38Speaker 2: his own, he would have.
- 17:39Speaker 1: 25 a day.
- 17:39Speaker 2: And so I can hear that specific rapper from the
- 17:43Speaker 2: other room, and I'll say, Riley, you've had enough of those.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Like, I just hear it crinkling. I know exactly what
- 17:48Speaker 4: it is.
- 17:48Speaker 3: You've also been trained.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Yeah, your kids can't do anything.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I'm not going to let him eat 25 chocolate granola bars.
- 17:55Speaker 1: In a day.
- 17:56Speaker 3: You're a narc. I'm going to go ahead and say, though,
- 17:58Speaker 3: I'm impressed with the way that you can hear things, Kevin,
- 18:01Speaker 3: because normally we wear headphones all day. We start to
- 18:05Speaker 3: lose our hearing very early on in life. That's like
- 18:08Speaker 3: a known thing in radio. And you have very good hearing, Kev.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I'm impressed. Thank you very much.
- 18:12Speaker 4: I appreciate it.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Taking care of those ear holes.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Ew.
- 18:17Speaker 4: That was gross.
- 18:18Speaker 3: That's what they are.
- 18:19Speaker 2: If you want to be at our big lineup announcement
- 18:23Speaker 2: party on Friday for our Jingle Ball that we just announced, 107.5
- 18:26Speaker 2: The Rivers Jingle Ball is coming up.
- 18:28Speaker 4: We're having a party on Friday. You can win your
- 18:30Speaker 4: way in next with the game of the day.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 18:34Speaker 3: On 107.5 The River. We are getting our first ever
- 18:38Speaker 3: Jingle Ball here in Nashville. 107.5 The River's Jingle Ball
- 18:42Speaker 3: presented by Capital One. We are so pumped about it.
- 18:45Speaker 3: For Kevin Mano's Game of the Day, we're giving you
- 18:46Speaker 3: a chance to win your way into our Jingle Ball
- 18:49Speaker 3: lineup announcement party. The lineup doesn't come out until Friday
- 18:52Speaker 3: at 8 a.m., but if you are at this party,
- 18:54Speaker 3: you will hit the lineup first. You will have the
- 18:56Speaker 3: first chance to win tickets into the first ever Jingle Ball.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Lots of firsts happening this Friday.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and the party's going to be at the station.
- 19:03Speaker 2: We're going to have breakfast. We're going to have a
- 19:05Speaker 2: great time. And hopefully Cheyenne.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Is a part of it.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Cheyenne in Goodlandsville is on the phone right now.
- 19:10Speaker 4: How are you, Cheyenne?
- 19:11Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I'm excited.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Yeah. You sound ready. We're all very excited about all
- 19:17Speaker 4: of this.
- 19:18Speaker 2: The game that we're playing this week is maybe the
- 19:20Speaker 2: silliest game.
- 19:20Speaker 4: We have ever played.
- 19:21Speaker 2: It's called Jingles for Jingle Ball. You have to pick
- 19:26Speaker 2: one of us, either Ricky, Zach, or myself, Kevin Mano,
- 19:29Speaker 2: to hum jingles at you, like popular commercial jingles. You
- 19:34Speaker 2: have to identify the jingles based on our humming.
- 19:37Speaker 4: So you have to get two out of three of
- 19:38Speaker 4: these right.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Are you ready?
- 19:39Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm ready.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Okay, so now you have to pick one of us.
- 19:44Speaker 7: Ricky.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Thank you, Lord.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Two days in a row. Two days in a row.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I'm ready. though.
- 19:51Speaker 2: The contestant won yesterday. So hopefully that we repeat that
- 19:53Speaker 2: luck today. All right, Cheyenne, here we go. Your game
- 19:56Speaker 2: starts right now. Ricky, jingle number one.
- 19:58Speaker 1: All right.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Nationwide is on your side.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Yes, I am.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Great job.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Great job.
- 20:08Speaker 4: You guys make a really good team.
- 20:11Speaker 3: I'm feeling more confident today than I was yesterday, Cheyenne. Yesterday,
- 20:14Speaker 3: I was really nervous. I'm still nervous, but I feel
- 20:16Speaker 3: a little bit better about my helping skills. Are you
- 20:18Speaker 3: ready for your next one?
- 20:20Speaker 6: I'm as ready as I'll ever be.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 20:28Speaker 6: Oh, no, that's a long one.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it is.
- 20:30Speaker 4: It kind of fell apart at the end.
- 20:31Speaker 3: I did fall apart at the end. I ran out
- 20:33Speaker 3: of breath. Do you want me to do it one
- 20:35Speaker 3: more time, Cheyenne? I'll do it one more time.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yeah, do it one more time. Okay.
- 20:44Speaker 5: Do I have to know the song or can.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I just say it?
- 20:46Speaker 6: I think, is it the Hiller one?
- 20:48Speaker 4: Oh, no, it's not the Hiller one.
- 20:50Speaker 2: That was the best part of waking up.
- 20:56Speaker 3: That's okay, Cheyenne. That's okay. You have one more coming
- 20:59Speaker 3: your way. Are you ready for the last one?
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yes, I'm ready.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Okay. Is that the whole.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Thing?
- 21:07Speaker 6: That's the whole thing. Okay, can you do it one
- 21:11Speaker 6: more time?
- 21:15Speaker 3: Chia Pet.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Chia Pet is correct.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Chia, you did it.
- 21:19Speaker 4: I almost started biting my nails.
- 21:22Speaker 3: I was so anxious.
- 21:22Speaker 2: We're going to see you Friday morning, Cheyenne.
- 21:26Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I'm excited.
- 21:28Speaker 3: We are too.
- 21:29Speaker 4: It's going to be a lot of fun.
- 21:30Speaker 3: We can't wait to meet you. Hang on the line
- 21:32Speaker 3: so we can get all your info, okay? Thank you.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Playing the same game tomorrow. It's so stupid. Same game tomorrow.
- 21:38Speaker 6: You can't breathe.
- 21:39Speaker 4: If you want to win your way in. And you
- 21:40Speaker 4: better pick Ricky.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Three things you need to know. Let's go.
- 21:44Speaker 2: It is just after 8 o'clock. Ricky Sanchez has those
- 21:47Speaker 2: three things for you. Presented by Marksbane Real Estate.
- 21:49Speaker 4: What's happening, Ricky?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Taylor Swift will receive the first ever artist director honors
- 21:54Speaker 3: at the VMAs. The award is given to a musician, quote,
- 21:57Speaker 3: whose work behind the camera has expanded the possibilities of
- 22:01Speaker 3: music video and advanced the art of visual storytelling. She
- 22:04Speaker 3: has directed over 15 of her own music videos, first
- 22:08Speaker 3: solo directing her music video for The Man in 2019.
- 22:11Speaker 3: And fun fact, Taylor is currently tied for the most
- 22:14Speaker 3: awarded artist in VMA's history alongside Beyonce. So congrats to her.
- 22:20Speaker 3: The MTV Video Music Awards are happening September 27th, where
- 22:23Speaker 3: you're going to see all the action, all the winners,
- 22:26Speaker 3: all that good stuff. I didn't see anything confirming whether
- 22:29Speaker 3: or not she would be there, so I really don't know.
- 22:31Speaker 3: But congrats to her on this honor nonetheless. Riley Green
- 22:36Speaker 3: is celebrating the release of his new album with a
- 22:38Speaker 3: free show today. It's happening at the Losers Bar and
- 22:41Speaker 3: Grill parking lot. Doors open at 6 p.m. It's a
- 22:44Speaker 3: 21 and over event. Keep that in mind. You're going
- 22:47Speaker 3: to want to get there early because there are no
- 22:49Speaker 3: tickets or guarantee in due to capacity limits. So if
- 22:52Speaker 3: this is something that you want to go see, get
- 22:54Speaker 3: there as early as you possibly can. If doors open
- 22:57Speaker 3: at 6, get there much earlier than 6. And Dr.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Squatch.
- 23:03Speaker 3: They have launched two new food and drink inspired soaps.
- 23:06Speaker 3: They've teamed up with Pabst Blue Ribbon to create Blue
- 23:08Speaker 3: Ribbon Breeze.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Gross.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Which somehow... It's so gross. But they kind of managed
- 23:14Speaker 3: to make it sound not so terrible. But it's a
- 23:17Speaker 3: bar of soap made with actual PBR lager in it.
- 23:20Speaker 3: I don't know why you want to smell like PBR.
- 23:22Speaker 3: The PBR that I, the smell that I know is
- 23:26Speaker 3: like PBR that's been left on the basement floor in
- 23:28Speaker 3: a frat house.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah. PBR.
- 23:30Speaker 4: It's like a bar the next morning or something.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't smell great. They also teamed up with Tahin,
- 23:35Speaker 3: which I love Tahin on my food. Not so much
- 23:38Speaker 3: on my body. But they created Mango Tango Soap. So
- 23:42Speaker 3: it says notes of mango, green apple, lime, chili powder,
- 23:45Speaker 3: black peppercorn, and paprika.
- 23:47Speaker 4: I want to eat it.
- 23:47Speaker 3: So you are going to smell like a whole snack,
- 23:51Speaker 3: which might work out well for you. I'd take that
- 23:53Speaker 3: one over the Blue Ribbon Breeze, honestly. I'm Ricky Sanchez,
- 23:56Speaker 3: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Thank you, Ricky. Here's Tame Impala.
- 24:00Speaker 2: We do have a crazy question for you here in
- 24:01Speaker 2: a little bit, kind of food-related, about iced coffee, job interviews.
- 24:06Speaker 4: We'll get there in a minute.
- 24:07Speaker 2: We were having this conversation in here yesterday.
- 24:09Speaker 4: We want to bring you into it next on The River.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 24:13Speaker 2: This question has been all over social media. Now we
- 24:15Speaker 2: are bringing it to you. Should you show up to
- 24:18Speaker 2: a job interview with an iced coffee? It's 107.5 The River.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I will state my opinion. I say, yeah, go for it.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I can't even possibly imagine why that would be seen
- 24:28Speaker 2: as a bad thing.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I say absolutely not.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Why not?
- 24:32Speaker 3: I don't think you're supposed to bring anything to a
- 24:34Speaker 3: job interview except for a good attitude, your resume, and
- 24:39Speaker 3: the willingness to answer really dumb questions. That's the only
- 24:42Speaker 3: thing you should bring to a job interview. You shouldn't
- 24:44Speaker 3: have like a water bottle out. You shouldn't have coffee, nothing.
- 24:48Speaker 3: If they want you to have coffee or water, they
- 24:50Speaker 3: will offer it to you when you get to the office.
- 24:53Speaker 7: I just feel like if I bring my own coffee,
- 24:55Speaker 7: it shows that I'm self-sufficient.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Oh, wow. That's a big jump.
- 24:58Speaker 1: It's true.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I am very self-sufficient. You did it. You can get
- 25:02Speaker 3: a coffee.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I don't need you.
- 25:05Speaker 7: I am just here to put my best foot forward,
- 25:07Speaker 7: and if I need coffee for that, then that's what
- 25:09Speaker 7: I have to do.
- 25:10Speaker 4: It's not like I brought in a liter of tequila.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I just can't... I can't imagine judging an applicant because
- 25:17Speaker 2: they're drinking coffee.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Like, who cares?
- 25:20Speaker 3: The whole point is to judge the applicant. That's all
- 25:22Speaker 3: you're doing in a job interview.
- 25:24Speaker 4: That's not what I would judge them on.
- 25:26Speaker 2: That wouldn't even register with me as, like, a fault
- 25:29Speaker 2: on any level.
- 25:30Speaker 3: I would not. The only time that I would bring
- 25:32Speaker 3: it is if I absolutely... felt like I needed it,
- 25:35Speaker 3: and I asked if the other person also would like
- 25:37Speaker 3: me to bring them coffee. That would be the one
- 25:40Speaker 3: scenario where I wouldn't mind doing it. Outside of that,
- 25:43Speaker 3: I don't think you should ever bring anything to a
- 25:44Speaker 3: job interview. Like I said, other than a good attitude,
- 25:47Speaker 3: willingness to answer dumb questions, they always ask you the
- 25:50Speaker 3: stupid questions that you don't... You're like, what does this mean?
- 25:53Speaker 4: This doesn't mean.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Anything for the actual job. Oh, why have you applied
- 25:57Speaker 3: for this job? Because I need to make money, bro.
- 25:59Speaker 4: That's why I applied for this job.
- 26:01Speaker 3: What do you mean? I mean, You should not bring anything.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Else to a job interview. Yeah, it sounds like you
- 26:05Speaker 4: have a real good attitude there, Ricky.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I do also.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I'm sorry, why do you have.
- 26:08Speaker 3: This job, Kevin?
- 26:09Speaker 4: Why do I have this job? Why do you want
- 26:11Speaker 4: this job? Because I love being.
- 26:16Speaker 1: employed.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Wow, you did really well there, buddy.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I think that if I was sitting in an interview,
- 26:23Speaker 2: it's a very awkward situation. I think having something in
- 26:26Speaker 2: my hand, a cup, a coffee, a hot coffee, an
- 26:28Speaker 2: iced coffee, it's like a little prop. It's going to
- 26:30Speaker 2: help kind of relax your body a little bit.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Hold your resume in your hand if that's what you need.
- 26:34Speaker 4: No, that sounds like so stiff and rigid. I think
- 26:37Speaker 4: that it should be a relaxed conversation. Okay, I'm not saying.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Hold it with two hands. You're going to hold the
- 26:42Speaker 3: coffee with one hand. Hold your resume with one hand.
- 26:45Speaker 4: You sent your resume in advance. You don't have to
- 26:47Speaker 4: bring a paper copy.
- 26:47Speaker 3: You have your resume as well.
- 26:49Speaker 4: You're prepared.
- 26:49Speaker 3: A hiring manager.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I need someone to call and settle this.
- 26:53Speaker 7: Do you care if someone brings a coffee to their
- 26:55Speaker 7: job interview?
- 26:56Speaker 4: Do you care if they.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Bring a liter of tequila? Because that was the other option.
- 27:01Speaker 4: That's so different.
- 27:03Speaker 3: 615-737-9107.
- 27:04Speaker 4: We are never going to agree in here. So we
- 27:06Speaker 4: want to hear from you. What do you think?
- 27:08Speaker 2: Is it okay to bring an iced coffee to a
- 27:09Speaker 2: job interview?
- 27:11Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Aaron in Clarksville, welcome to 107.5 The River. What do
- 27:16Speaker 3: you think about this? Should you be able to bring
- 27:18Speaker 3: an iced coffee to a job interview or any coffee
- 27:21Speaker 3: to a job interview?
- 27:21Speaker 5: Absolutely. Coffee is life.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 4: A sane person here.
- 27:27Speaker 3: You need your caffeine. Yeah, I have my nice Trenta
- 27:32Speaker 3: vanilla sweet cream cold brew.
- 27:33Speaker 6: Right now, matter of fact.
- 27:35Speaker 3: But wouldn't you think that you're going to drink the
- 27:37Speaker 3: coffee beforehand?
- 27:39Speaker 5: You know, the struggle bus is real.
- 27:43Speaker 1: So why not?
- 27:44Speaker 2: I just can't even imagine judging somebody negatively based on
- 27:47Speaker 2: the fact that they have a coffee.
- 27:48Speaker 4: That doesn't make any sense to me.
- 27:50Speaker 5: No, especially with bougie coffee.
- 27:53Speaker 6: I mean, it just shows that they have a spice
- 27:56Speaker 6: for life.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Okay.
- 27:58Speaker 3: I feel like we're going a little far with that, Erin.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I don't know if it's a spice for life. I
- 28:02Speaker 3: think it's that you need some spice in your life.
- 28:04Speaker 3: That's why you're drinking it to wake up. But we'll
- 28:07Speaker 3: go with it, Erin. I think it's great.
- 28:08Speaker 4: We appreciate you calling in.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Absolutely. Have a great day, love. Absolutely.
- 28:12Speaker 2: You too.
- 28:13Speaker 5: Bye.
- 28:13Speaker 2: So that's one check in our column for sanity and rationality.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Charlotte in Lebanon, what do you think about this? Should
- 28:20Speaker 3: you bring a coffee to a job in your room?
- 28:23Speaker 6: No, ma'am. You are 100% correct, Ricky.
- 28:26Speaker 3: That is not unless you call. And if you have a.
- 28:29Speaker 6: Familiarity with the hiring manager and say, hey, I'm going
- 28:32Speaker 6: to stop and get a coffee. Would you enjoy one?
- 28:34Speaker 6: I would love to bring you one.
- 28:35Speaker 3: 100%.
- 28:37Speaker 6: You don't need it. I want to know that you're
- 28:39Speaker 6: coming with a good attitude, that you're coming and you're
- 28:41Speaker 6: putting the effort into applying for the job.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Exactly, Charlotte. I want to know that. What do you
- 28:46Speaker 3: do for work?
- 28:46Speaker 4: That's what I was going to ask, too.
- 28:48Speaker 6: I have been a hiring manager in several, like, gym
- 28:53Speaker 6: atmospheres because that's what I went to school for.
- 28:55Speaker 3: So you have some experience with this. Just a little bit.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Just, yeah, just a little bit.
- 28:59Speaker 6: Of different flavors with it. And it just, you want
- 29:02Speaker 6: to come in and you want to be confident.
- 29:04Speaker 3: You want to be relaxed. 100% agree with Kevin.
- 29:07Speaker 6: But at the same time, if you need a prop,
- 29:09Speaker 6: then you're going to need something while you're on the
- 29:11Speaker 6: job doing what you're doing. So I want you to
- 29:14Speaker 6: be coming.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Full force 100% with the correct vibe.
- 29:17Speaker 1: All right.
- 29:18Speaker 4: You're very professional and well-spoken. I'll take your word for it.
- 29:21Speaker 4: That makes sense. Thank you.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Thank you, love. Love you guys.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 29:25Speaker 3: We love you. Have a great day.
- 29:28Speaker 4: She's still wrong, but she said it well. Let's get
- 29:31Speaker 4: one more. Let's talk to Brittany in Nashville and see
- 29:33Speaker 4: what she thinks. Brittany, what do you think? Is it
- 29:34Speaker 4: okay to bring a coffee to a job interview?
- 29:37Speaker 6: I think that it depends on the job interview. I
- 29:39Speaker 6: think it depends on what you're applying for, kind of
- 29:41Speaker 6: the environment.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Also, why not just ask the secretary or whoever is
- 29:44Speaker 3: up front at first, like, hey.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Do they mind that I bring this coffee in?
- 29:48Speaker 7: Also, the timing of when you sip it during the
- 29:50Speaker 7: interview is probably more crucial than having coffee.
- 29:52Speaker 1: That's true.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Brittany, solid point. That's the other thing that I think
- 29:57Speaker 3: will go to my side here. If you're talking to
- 30:00Speaker 3: somebody and you're having a conversation with them, and every
- 30:02Speaker 3: time that they go to talk, they're still sipping their coffee,
- 30:05Speaker 3: you're not really having a conversation.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Agreed.
- 30:07Speaker 6: It's a little distracting.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Yeah, you got to fill it out.
- 30:09Speaker 6: You really have to just know common sense.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Yeah, common sense. Just take a sip when the other
- 30:13Speaker 4: person starts talking.
- 30:14Speaker 3: I think if you're bringing coffee to a job interview,
- 30:17Speaker 3: you're missing your common sense already by bringing the coffee
- 30:20Speaker 3: to the job interview.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. All right.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Thank you for calling.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Thank you for weighing in.
- 30:24Speaker 4: We're getting nowhere with this.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Yeah, you're welcome.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Have a good day, love. Bye.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Bye, Brittany.
- 30:29Speaker 2: You too.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Bye.
- 30:30Speaker 4: Well, that settled nothing.
- 30:31Speaker 2: I know.
- 30:32Speaker 3: This is fun for me. I'm smiling because I love this.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Shout out to all the sleepyheads out there. It's 107.5
- 30:42Speaker 3: The River, and the Daily Double Tap is just for you.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Yeah, why do we even sleep if we wake up tired?
- 30:47Speaker 4: Here we go. Today's Daily Double Tap.
- 30:49Speaker 3: I hate when I wake up tired, okay? Because what
- 30:51Speaker 3: the hell did I go to sleep for? I slept
- 30:53Speaker 3: all those hours just to wake up exhausted. What was
- 30:56Speaker 3: the point?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Useless.
- 30:58Speaker 7: Honestly, I feel like that every single morning. I'm like, bro,
- 31:00Speaker 7: I went to bed and I laid there for like
- 31:03Speaker 7: seven hours. Why am I still so tired? What's happening?
- 31:06Speaker 3: It's a mystery of the world, guys.
- 31:08Speaker 2: It's supposed to be recharging our batteries, you know? We
- 31:10Speaker 2: were supposed to wake up and just hop out of bed,
- 31:12Speaker 2: not need 18 cups of coffee to get us there.
- 31:14Speaker 1: 107.5, the river.
