- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Almost Famous podcast. I'm here today
- 0:09Speaker 2: with Lauren and we're here to break down another episode
- 0:12Speaker 2: of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. This episode eleven.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We're so close to the end of this season, which
- 0:19Speaker 2: is absolutely crazy. It's gone back very fast, so fast, Lauren,
- 0:23Speaker 2: way too fast.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I know.
- 0:25Speaker 4: I was like, wait the finale. I'm not ready for this.
- 0:27Speaker 4: America isn't ready for to be over.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think this is keeping a lot.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Of people afloat emotionally.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Yeah, a float emotionally. That's a great especially as the
- 0:37Speaker 3: summer hites us.
- 0:38Speaker 2: We've got confrontations, we've got half apologies, belly dancers. Let's
- 0:45Speaker 2: jump into it, Lauren. Another great episode, Another fun episode.
- 0:52Speaker 4: So fun. What I failed to mention or even a
- 0:56Speaker 4: dress last week or like connect the dots. So we
- 0:59Speaker 4: start off episode with Joellen calling Alicia and kind of
- 1:02Speaker 4: giving her the rundown I guess of their their meetup
- 1:06Speaker 4: Liz and Joellen's meetup, and Liz literally said, like earlier
- 1:10Speaker 4: in the last week's episode about like menopause and how
- 1:13Speaker 4: how crazy it makes you should we have put those
- 1:16Speaker 4: two and two together, like maybe Liz. We were like,
- 1:19Speaker 4: she's crazy, she's evil, like maybe she's in menopause.
- 1:22Speaker 3: See, Okay, great point, m hm.
- 1:26Speaker 2: But I left last week feeling like almost convinced, I
- 1:30Speaker 2: don't know, by you or just by our conversation that
- 1:34Speaker 2: Liz was in the right during this argument.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Liz was in the right with the whole homeless argument.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Still, yeah, and that discuss she said to Joellen was actually.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Right because Joellan did some crazy stuff, and yeah, I
- 1:50Speaker 4: think it was maybe, like you know, it's funny the
- 1:53Speaker 4: internet has diagnosed Liz not only is she in menopause
- 1:56Speaker 4: and maybe you write out this entire situation in general,
- 1:59Speaker 4: but diagnosed with hold on intermittent explosive disorder, which is like,
- 2:07Speaker 4: I guess, just when you lose your randomly so we
- 2:09Speaker 4: all have it. Yeah, I'm like, that is not a
- 2:11Speaker 4: diagnosis everyone. You can lose your shit at anytime, at
- 2:14Speaker 4: any age. But yeah, she I think there are there's
- 2:17Speaker 4: things that Liz was right about that she is not
- 2:21Speaker 4: ready to disclose. Maybe that's a season two but yeah,
- 2:24Speaker 4: I just want to address the menopause thing because I
- 2:26Speaker 4: didn't I was watching this week. I was like, wait
- 2:28Speaker 4: a minute, that is a that is the reason to
- 2:30Speaker 4: blame your behavior.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I know many who have gone through that, and that
- 2:36Speaker 3: is uh is up there.
- 2:39Speaker 4: My mom was really scary during scary Saturday mornings.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Uh, we do get what you talked about. They do
- 2:48Speaker 3: get to catch up a little bit.
- 2:49Speaker 2: It feels like, at least to me, this is the
- 2:52Speaker 2: setup for joe Ellen to try to in a lot
- 2:56Speaker 2: of ways become the victim, which she might be. Again,
- 2:58Speaker 2: I don't know exactly where I see this, but I
- 3:01Speaker 2: do think there was a outside of everything else, I'm
- 3:04Speaker 2: standing firm that Joellen was hurt when Liz pretty much
- 3:09Speaker 2: said we aren't friends. I really think, no matter what
- 3:12Speaker 2: Joellen's actions have been or will be, I think she
- 3:15Speaker 2: thought she had a friend in Liz and this was
- 3:17Speaker 2: a moment of discovery that did hurt Joellen. And it
- 3:22Speaker 2: does seem to me throughout this whole episode Lauren, that
- 3:25Speaker 2: Liz doesn't really back down from this common of we
- 3:29Speaker 2: aren't friends.
- 3:30Speaker 4: I know, and then even Kelsey later on when they're
- 3:33Speaker 4: at the beach like clamming, She's like, have you ever
- 3:36Speaker 4: been wrong before? She's like no, It's like, oh okay,
- 3:40Speaker 4: that's crazy to admit bold and I'm sure I'll be
- 3:43Speaker 4: disproven later on.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and just not something that any human should feel
- 3:48Speaker 2: confident in saying publicly, the actually feeling even I think
- 3:52Speaker 2: we should. All any bait listens to this. You and
- 3:55Speaker 2: I included, need to at some point today sit down
- 3:58Speaker 2: and be like we've been.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Wrong one hundred percent.
- 4:01Speaker 2: That is a mindset I need to sit in that
- 4:03Speaker 2: I'm not always correct.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Yes, yes, humble Ben Kelsey so not. I'm not even
- 4:10Speaker 4: a big fan of her. Even Kelsey would admit that
- 4:12Speaker 4: she was wrong about sir.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Yeah, we're gonna get into Kelsey. Kelsey had a good episode.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I thought little like side things happening, Ashley and the
- 4:21Speaker 2: family is making tacos. Rula shows up to Brian's office
- 4:26Speaker 2: because Rula, my goodness, has an accident. She this poor
- 4:31Speaker 2: woman has been through it.
- 4:33Speaker 4: During this happened to her toeail again.
- 4:35Speaker 3: She like hit it on something and she said it
- 4:37Speaker 3: pulled back. Oh sounds awful.
- 4:41Speaker 4: I do that to Ashley's tonel when we were younger,
- 4:43Speaker 4: like she was like wait wait, WHOA. I think I
- 4:48Speaker 4: was like ten and she was like twelve or thirteen.
- 4:51Speaker 4: She wouldn't let me in her room and she opened
- 4:53Speaker 4: it like a crack and like kind of put her
- 4:55Speaker 4: toe out, and so I slammed it back in her
- 4:57Speaker 4: face and her just ripped off. And now I feel
- 5:02Speaker 4: so bad, But I was so mad at her, like
- 5:04Speaker 4: you know those again hormones. I was just so pissed.
- 5:07Speaker 3: So you have that same thing that they're diagnosing, Lizabeth.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, yes, I was pissed with me in
- 5:12Speaker 4: her room and then she was obviously her Tonail Gagne.
- 5:16Speaker 4: But now it's fine, it's grew back.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, So I guess it's so painful.
- 5:21Speaker 4: So bad.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Yeah, not really a lot there, But other than the
- 5:26Speaker 2: fact that I did watch it and I felt for
- 5:27Speaker 2: Rula as she explained it, and I thought about her
- 5:29Speaker 2: sickness during this season, I thought about the toenail. I
- 5:32Speaker 2: thought about her her becoming slowly aware that her husband
- 5:36Speaker 2: might be not as loyal as she was hoping for.
- 5:40Speaker 2: She's been through it this season, Rula. I know that
- 5:44Speaker 2: you agreed to be on this show, and I'm happy
- 5:47Speaker 2: you did because you've been such a steadfast storyline for
- 5:51Speaker 2: us to follow, but not good.
- 5:53Speaker 4: For it now and now she feels comfortable enough to
- 5:55Speaker 4: and buy all the ladies except for joelan over to
- 5:58Speaker 4: her house for Arabia Nights, very fun theme.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Everybody's looking really good? So good?
- 6:03Speaker 4: How good did Ashley look?
- 6:05Speaker 2: I mean, Ashley's a beautiful human. I've told her over
- 6:09Speaker 2: and over, but she I do feel like Ashley's best.
- 6:14Speaker 2: She's Jasmine. I know when she really wants to shock
- 6:19Speaker 2: the world. You know, she walks out in that Jasmine
- 6:23Speaker 2: Halloween costume or dresses up for like Arabian.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Nights her true form.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I think she really shines.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I agree. Everyone looked really good.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Can we talk about how Jared opens up a can
- 6:34Speaker 2: Why is he doing it this way?
- 6:36Speaker 4: I guess they said that the can opener was broken,
- 6:38Speaker 4: it wasn't working.
- 6:39Speaker 3: It makes me very nervous.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I really need those beans.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and it made your dad very nervous. It was
- 6:45Speaker 2: very dangerous how he was going about doing this.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Yeah, my dad is such a stickler about like cutting
- 6:51Speaker 4: and knives. I guess like at the hospital every day
- 6:53Speaker 4: he sees like maybe like forty knife accidents, So this
- 6:57Speaker 4: is like his one bugaboo. So seeing that was very alarming.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Well, I think it would be alarming for anybody. Your
- 7:03Speaker 2: dad has been exposed to it.
- 7:05Speaker 3: And here's my question.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Jared knows that he's being filmed cooking dinner for a
- 7:13Speaker 2: family or supporting in the cooking for a family, and
- 7:17Speaker 2: he knows that this can is not going to be
- 7:19Speaker 2: opened by the can opener that is supposedly broken, and
- 7:23Speaker 2: he still decides to cut it with a knife, knowing
- 7:25Speaker 2: that it's going to be shown to millions of people
- 7:28Speaker 2: throughout the United States of America.
- 7:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I think he's like, this is so manly. I
- 7:34Speaker 4: got a show. I can do it, guys, Like, I'll
- 7:37Speaker 4: get it done.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Guys, let me take off my sweater and show my
- 7:40Speaker 3: arms as that exactly slice open a can.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Mm hmm of beans or corn or something.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I don't know. That whole scene was kind of like unnecessary,
- 7:50Speaker 4: but I guess it was to discuss, yet again the
- 7:53Speaker 4: future and fate of Audrey's I love my Dad's cameo.
- 7:57Speaker 4: I thought it was very funny when Ashley was like,
- 7:59Speaker 4: you're to cry, It's no, I'm absolutely fine because she
- 8:02Speaker 4: just assumes everyone's gonna cry. Yeah, there wasn't much to it.
- 8:05Speaker 4: We saw a beautiful Dawson.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Again, there isn't a lot to it.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I don't know why the Audrey storyline continues because it's
- 8:14Speaker 2: not convincing me that it's closing. Like nothing about this
- 8:18Speaker 2: season and I'm unaware if it's staying open or not
- 8:22Speaker 2: still to this day, I don't know. I mean, I
- 8:23Speaker 2: would assume it is based on the success it's having,
- 8:27Speaker 2: but I'm not convinced this storyline is compelling to anybody.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I don't think anybody's on the edge of their seats
- 8:33Speaker 2: right now.
- 8:33Speaker 4: I don't eat. I don't either, and it is my family,
- 8:35Speaker 4: and I don't really care. But I think what would
- 8:39Speaker 4: be more interesting. I guess if they made like not
- 8:43Speaker 4: so much odd, like if Audrey's Close closes, then will
- 8:47Speaker 4: you stay in Rhode Island or not? I think that
- 8:49Speaker 4: may be slightly more interesting. And then like what's gonna
- 8:52Speaker 4: happen with these friendships and blah blah blah rather than
- 8:55Speaker 4: just like, okay, no more Audrey's than what you know,
- 8:59Speaker 4: we can just move on by no one cares. They
- 9:01Speaker 4: watched it, and they didn't care then, so I'm gonna
- 9:03Speaker 4: make them sit there any longer about this.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I mean, there's a lot of this was a good episode.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I want to be clear on that, but there was
- 9:10Speaker 2: a lot of filler moments, like when the Rhode Island
- 9:14Speaker 2: State House came into play and they wanted to talk
- 9:18Speaker 2: about their menopause gummies. It's an important conversation, don't get
- 9:22Speaker 2: me wrong, very important to bring to light. And I
- 9:26Speaker 2: know that they're getting support, and I did enjoy hearing
- 9:31Speaker 2: that it was explained to the committee. And the committee
- 9:34Speaker 2: is full of men, and they were shocked and surprised
- 9:36Speaker 2: and educated not only for themselves but for their spouses
- 9:39Speaker 2: at home. But my, I guess my only thing here
- 9:44Speaker 2: outside of everything else. This had to be a contractual
- 9:47Speaker 2: obligation by the show to say.
- 9:49Speaker 3: We were going to have you on this show.
- 9:51Speaker 2: And Liz came back and said, that's great, but you're
- 9:53Speaker 2: gonna highlight my menopause gummies a lot. All these ladies
- 9:57Speaker 2: have stuff going on, they have their businesses, they have
- 10:00Speaker 2: their careers, and it's a it's awesome, great, But why
- 10:05Speaker 2: are the menopause gummies such a topic of conversation so
- 10:08Speaker 2: often in this season? Their free publicity has been incredible.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Really yeah, so true. We don't know like the name
- 10:17Speaker 4: of the company. I don't think they've shared that explicitly.
- 10:20Speaker 4: So it's going to be, I would it would make
- 10:22Speaker 4: more sense, like contractly, Oh, you have to say the
- 10:24Speaker 4: name of my company and the name of my gummies
- 10:27Speaker 4: and stuff, and if it was already out then it
- 10:30Speaker 4: would make sense. I just think like some of the
- 10:32Speaker 4: side plots are like, you know, your eyes kind of
- 10:34Speaker 4: like glaze over and you think of something else. That
- 10:37Speaker 4: happens a lot, But when the girls are together is
- 10:40Speaker 4: the meat of the episode. So they just need like
- 10:44Speaker 4: a little breadcrumbs to get you to the next fight.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Really, yeah, it is cool to see how they are
- 10:51Speaker 2: leading the way in education on the Northeast for menopause
- 10:54Speaker 2: and what people go through.
- 10:57Speaker 4: I'm sure people other states will follow. I think it.
- 11:00Speaker 4: I think it actually is very interesting. And this hearing
- 11:04Speaker 4: all those statistics and all the things she was talking
- 11:06Speaker 4: about kind of made me think that her behavior has
- 11:10Speaker 4: something to do with it. That's what made a click
- 11:13Speaker 4: for me.
- 11:14Speaker 3: But she needs to take more gummies.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Yeah, actually, terrible advertising. I definitely bad idea. Yeah, so
- 11:24Speaker 4: we see them. Dolores doesn't really say a lot there
- 11:29Speaker 4: looking like twins again. Then we go to Alicia's house
- 11:36Speaker 4: where Rosie's trying to make Alicia feel better by decorating ducks,
- 11:41Speaker 4: which I thought was a very cute scene because Rosie
- 11:44Speaker 4: is so good with her daughter and honestly so good
- 11:47Speaker 4: with Alicia, because Alicia is ten years old at heart.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Well, you make great points. This scene is a great
- 11:54Speaker 2: transition into what the rest of the episode has to come.
- 11:57Speaker 2: It also shows, I think, for the first time, that
- 12:00Speaker 2: Rosie is making friendships outside of Ashley.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I know.
- 12:04Speaker 3: This was a good moment, and it is a It's
- 12:08Speaker 3: a fun moment to watch because ultimately, at the end
- 12:11Speaker 3: of the day, in the perfect world that none of
- 12:14Speaker 3: us would ever watch on TV, these ladies would get
- 12:16Speaker 3: along great.
- 12:17Speaker 2: They'd have all these great moments together. That's not what
- 12:19Speaker 2: makes the good television for the Real Housewives. But it
- 12:22Speaker 2: shows that Rosie is sweet and cares, and it feels
- 12:25Speaker 2: like Alicia is very appreciative for you know, this investment
- 12:31Speaker 2: of time, absolutely and for Rosie to invest into the
- 12:34Speaker 2: ducking and explaining ducking.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Did you know duk ducking was?
- 12:38Speaker 3: I didn't. I know that they have a wave, Like
- 12:40Speaker 3: I know there's a wave when you drive it.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Oh, oh, I didn't know that.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a certain wave that they do to
- 12:45Speaker 3: each other.
- 12:47Speaker 4: I think so on the I don't get a podcast.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Rip nas are our good friend Nasperez. She has a
- 12:55Speaker 4: wrangler and she loves ducking. So that's how I learned about.
- 13:00Speaker 4: But I was like, I think every car brand needs
- 13:04Speaker 4: to have their own version of ducking. And I was like,
- 13:06Speaker 4: I have an Accura. It should be like an Accura
- 13:09Speaker 4: bat or something like you put a little bat or something,
- 13:12Speaker 4: because why did they get to have all the fun?
- 13:15Speaker 2: Well exactly, I mean I have an F one fifty
- 13:17Speaker 2: from twenty sixteen. It is one of the most dry.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Like there you see a thousand of them on the road. Yeah, Ard,
- 13:24Speaker 2: obviously it's done fairly well for themselves. It'd be great
- 13:27Speaker 2: if I felt like I had a community with my community.
- 13:31Speaker 4: We need to start it, start it.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I love communities that I actually don't have to talk
- 13:35Speaker 2: to that often that I just get to like leave
- 13:37Speaker 2: gifts at and then absolutely feel connected to them in
- 13:40Speaker 2: some way.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Yeah, do you have a gift that you would give
- 13:43Speaker 4: your F one fifty brothers?
- 13:45Speaker 2: You know what I'm thinking, Because ultimately, I just believe
- 13:49Speaker 2: that anybody drives a truck. One, it's very useful for
- 13:52Speaker 2: living in the mountains. Two you know where it's it's
- 13:56Speaker 2: like a very manly vehicle to drive, and so that
- 13:59Speaker 2: makes me feel little cooler when I get into it. Yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 2: I don't have the big tires, it's not super lifted,
- 14:05Speaker 2: so I don't have much to prove. I'm not trying
- 14:08Speaker 2: to send a secret message, so true. Yeah, but I
- 14:13Speaker 2: think like a little like cowboy hat, like a nice
- 14:16Speaker 2: adorable yeah that all of us could have on our
- 14:20Speaker 2: like windshield would be sweet.
- 14:21Speaker 4: That's really cute. We should start this.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Maybe Ford will reach out.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Like the Arabian party is the big conversation. Joellen is
- 14:30Speaker 2: not invited and she's communicated with. Actually thought this was
- 14:34Speaker 2: great that Alicia and Rosie tell Joelan about the party
- 14:38Speaker 2: that she's not invited to. I think that's a good
- 14:40Speaker 2: friend move. I would appreciate that move as a friend
- 14:43Speaker 2: to be known to at least know, Hey, we're all
- 14:45Speaker 2: getting together night. You're gonna see it on social media,
- 14:47Speaker 2: you're gonna watch it on television, and you're not invited.
- 14:50Speaker 2: And I know this is gonna hurt, but you should
- 14:52Speaker 2: be aware and not shocked, and you can talk through
- 14:55Speaker 2: it with your spouse before.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Things get ugly. It it's probably a good move from
- 15:03Speaker 3: Rula too.
- 15:03Speaker 2: You know that if Joelan's going to be there, not
- 15:07Speaker 2: that it didn't happen without her there, but you know that,
- 15:10Speaker 2: you know the Brian stuff is going to be brought up.
- 15:12Speaker 2: It's been brought up every time. And if this is
- 15:14Speaker 2: your party, you get to invite who you want.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Yeah, it makes it more realistic for me too, as
- 15:20Speaker 4: like a friend group. Like we know that these hangouts
- 15:24Speaker 4: are produced semi like the girls. All the girls have
- 15:28Speaker 4: to be there contractually or not contractually, but like they're
- 15:31Speaker 4: trying to get as many girls together as possible. But
- 15:33Speaker 4: what makes it organic is no one would invite or
- 15:37Speaker 4: no one who's in Rula's situation wouldn't invite a Joe Ellen,
- 15:41Speaker 4: you know. Yeah, so it makes it be like, Okay, yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 4: she wouldn't go to your house. You may meet up
- 15:46Speaker 4: for trivia or something or a winery, but you're not
- 15:49Speaker 4: going to have her to your home where she's been
- 15:51Speaker 4: trying to sabotage your home life.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Sabotage your home life. But I would also add into that, Lauren,
- 15:58Speaker 2: she would allegedly be sharing deep truth about your home
- 16:01Speaker 2: life that she feels is specifically beneficial for you to.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Know about MMMM, which is interesting.
- 16:14Speaker 2: We obviously get all the ladies together at the party,
- 16:18Speaker 2: Ashley and Jared are there. Jared's short time at this
- 16:23Speaker 2: party is full of him just being so kind.
- 16:28Speaker 3: He being kind, He's telling everybody it looks so good.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, And Jared has to leave early to go
- 16:35Speaker 4: do trivia. Audrey's very like authentic again. But I called
- 16:40Speaker 4: Ashley in the middle of watching this and I was like,
- 16:42Speaker 4: you are so funny. I don't know if anyone else
- 16:44Speaker 4: thinks you're funny, but the way you're obsessed with food
- 16:48Speaker 4: and you're so awkward, it's like never fails to amaze
- 16:52Speaker 4: me how awkward she can be, Like her double kiss
- 16:54Speaker 4: with Rula, Like, oh, I just try to do that
- 16:57Speaker 4: because I made you. Wouldn't just stop talking age.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Does it make you cringe a little bit?
- 17:03Speaker 4: It's like it used to because I thought it would change,
- 17:06Speaker 4: But now it's like so hard that I'm like, I'm
- 17:09Speaker 4: like used to it, and I think it's endearing, but
- 17:12Speaker 4: I just wish there was one smooth greeting by her,
- 17:15Speaker 4: like a smooth evening with nothing embarrassing.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I just can't.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I mean, like, the the moment that will live in
- 17:22Speaker 2: my head from this whole season is her and not
- 17:25Speaker 2: that she chose it, but the full mask at that
- 17:27Speaker 2: party and she's just everybody else is looking like sexy
- 17:31Speaker 2: and cute and she's just got like a full on mask.
- 17:35Speaker 4: That imagery is actually going down in real housewife history.
- 17:38Speaker 4: People are loving that. It's like it's it's a meme now,
- 17:42Speaker 4: it's just a full bow meme for people who don't
- 17:43Speaker 4: even watch it.
- 17:44Speaker 3: It's so good.
- 17:46Speaker 2: It makes me get before we dive into the party itself. Yes,
- 17:51Speaker 2: let's touch back on, and I want to hear your
- 17:53Speaker 2: explanation of kind of the Liz situation with Joellen and Alicia. Obviously,
- 17:59Speaker 2: this is still a storyline that comes through this episode,
- 18:03Speaker 2: and Liz is telling her husband or in this episode
- 18:05Speaker 2: that she did apologize to Alicia and has not heard back.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Alicia admits that Liz did call her, and she's not answering.
- 18:12Speaker 2: She's just not ready for it yet. What what's your
- 18:16Speaker 2: take so far.
- 18:17Speaker 3: On how this is playing out and maybe how it
- 18:20Speaker 3: will play out.
- 18:21Speaker 4: I mean, the fact that she's not answering the phone
- 18:24Speaker 4: when she knows that Liz is probably calling to apologize
- 18:28Speaker 4: is kind of annoying to me, Like if someone's trying
- 18:31Speaker 4: to reach out and like, you know, own up, I
- 18:34Speaker 4: would answer the phone. But the way they handled it
- 18:37Speaker 4: at the party seemed kind of like, let's just brush
- 18:40Speaker 4: this on the surface. But then we're always going to
- 18:41Speaker 4: look at each other differently, like it'll never be the same,
- 18:44Speaker 4: it's not what we.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Know too much, Like it'll be hard, it'll be hard
- 18:49Speaker 2: to move forward and it will be intriguing to me, Lauren,
- 18:53Speaker 2: how Joellen comes back into this, like what her relationship
- 18:57Speaker 2: with Liz looks like, if there is.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Any at all, I couldn't.
- 19:00Speaker 4: I could never imagine coming back from that. It was
- 19:03Speaker 4: crazy fight.
- 19:05Speaker 3: It was a crazy fight.
- 19:06Speaker 2: But I do since that if Liz led the way
- 19:11Speaker 2: and told Joelan, hey, I said a lot of things
- 19:15Speaker 2: I didn't. I mean all the things I said, but
- 19:20Speaker 2: the one thing that was maybe overstated was how much
- 19:23Speaker 2: we aren't friends. I do think Joelan would jump right
- 19:26Speaker 2: back in head first.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Yeah, But I don't think she would jump back in
- 19:30Speaker 4: with like good intentions. She would be like, I am
- 19:33Speaker 4: have more dirt and I'm collecting dirt and ever since then,
- 19:37Speaker 4: ever since, like the disrespect, I think Joelan's probably knowing
- 19:42Speaker 4: her plotting something else against Liz like she'll she's not
- 19:46Speaker 4: gonna take it lying down. I mean, I think she
- 19:48Speaker 4: everyone wants to be Liz's good graces though, because she
- 19:51Speaker 4: is like the matriarch of this whole group and she
- 19:53Speaker 4: is like very influential. But I don't think Joellen's gonna
- 19:58Speaker 4: she's gonna have some ammo after all this. She's the
- 20:01Speaker 4: queen of gathering information, she is.
- 20:05Speaker 2: And it does feel like where she resorts to when
- 20:09Speaker 2: things get tough. But at right now where we sit
- 20:14Speaker 2: during this season, it feels like Joellen has been softened.
- 20:19Speaker 3: She's tried a couple.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Things and not maybe even intentionally trying to do them
- 20:24Speaker 2: for harm. She's tried to bring you a light to
- 20:28Speaker 2: Rula that her husband is having an affair. She has,
- 20:33Speaker 2: you know, tried to stand up for Alicia and confront Liz,
- 20:39Speaker 2: and that hasn't really worked. And Liz is still invited
- 20:41Speaker 2: to the parties and Joellen is not. It seems like
- 20:47Speaker 2: she's kind of gotten softened or beaten down, that her
- 20:51Speaker 2: attempts at gathering information and being the fearless leader of
- 20:57Speaker 2: this group has not worked in her favor.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Yeah, when you really break it down, you make a
- 21:03Speaker 4: lot of sense. And you're like, well, is anything she'd
- 21:05Speaker 4: done really that crazy?
- 21:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:08Speaker 4: No, like she should probably still be invited.
- 21:10Speaker 3: It makes me think there's more going on.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Yes, exactly, I think there's more going on. There's certain
- 21:15Speaker 4: things that I have heard. I am currently in the
- 21:18Speaker 4: gorgeous state of Rhode Island right now, so there's been
- 21:21Speaker 4: whispers in Rhode Island of alleged awful things that Joan
- 21:26Speaker 4: has done. So maybe I'm looking at her in a
- 21:30Speaker 4: different light than I have been. Yeah, I don't want
- 21:33Speaker 4: to say too much. Actually, I'm going to leave it
- 21:36Speaker 4: at that, and we'll see what happens in season two
- 21:38Speaker 4: because that's going to start off filming and very very
- 21:41Speaker 4: very soon.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Very soon.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Season two will be interesting to see all the ladies
- 21:45Speaker 2: come back together. We have a few more weeks of
- 21:48Speaker 2: this season. A couple of things that stand out during
- 22:02Speaker 2: the party. I said it last week because it was
- 22:04Speaker 2: in the teaser. Having Brian with the belly dancer was
- 22:09Speaker 2: a chef's kiss. Perfect. It was so good, it was
- 22:13Speaker 2: perfect timing, it was perfect. Voice over.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Your sister gets very excited about the about the food dance.
- 22:25Speaker 4: What was it? She goes, ooh, cheese puffs or something. Yeah,
- 22:29Speaker 4: oh passworders, and I'm like, you're so funny. She'll never
- 22:32Speaker 4: say no to the food.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Yeah, she's a big fan of cheese pop. It's very exciting,
- 22:39Speaker 2: very animated. Kelsey and Bill show up. Bill is not
- 22:43Speaker 2: dressed for the celebration at all.
- 22:46Speaker 4: I don't know the boys really know what to do
- 22:48Speaker 4: with Arabian nights. You're not gonna wear a puffy the
- 22:51Speaker 4: ladin pants.
- 22:52Speaker 3: No, Jared could, you could, but he wouldn't. He wouldn't.
- 22:56Speaker 2: They just kind of doesn't have fun. Yeah, they just
- 22:59Speaker 2: all come rest nice and looking good. Really, the big
- 23:04Speaker 2: moment for me at this party, Lauren, was the conversation
- 23:08Speaker 2: that rich and Bill had to try to bring peace
- 23:11Speaker 2: to their partners.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I don't want to speak into this. I do.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I do think there's a protective mentality for both spouses.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I'm not saying it's like the man or the woman,
- 23:24Speaker 2: But if something is going on with my wife and
- 23:29Speaker 2: somebody else and it's gone on for longer than I
- 23:32Speaker 2: feel like it should.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I have I feel almost an obligation to step in.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like infiltrating your marriage, yea, infiltrating You're like,
- 23:46Speaker 4: I can't listen to this anymore. It's a cloud over
- 23:49Speaker 4: our heads. Let's please put it to rest. And especially
- 23:52Speaker 4: because Bill and Rich just seem like two good bros.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Like I love both of them. They seem like good dudes,
- 23:58Speaker 4: so I'm sure they don't want to hear at nauseum
- 24:00Speaker 4: like Kese Kelsey Kelse. So it's like, these guys, you're
- 24:04Speaker 4: actually fighting over nothing.
- 24:06Speaker 2: You're fighting over nothing. If the two of you actually
- 24:10Speaker 2: laid out on the table what you don't like each
- 24:12Speaker 2: other for, there would be very little substance to that argument.
- 24:16Speaker 2: So the men are kind of saying, hey, we're clearheaded here.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I like you Bill, Bill saying I like you Rich.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I think we can kick it. Let's see if we
- 24:25Speaker 2: can figure it out. So it brings the ladies into it.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Rosie and Kelsey are asked to confront the issues that
- 24:35Speaker 2: at least are sitting in front of us today. It
- 24:38Speaker 2: seems to be kind of around Kelsey's entrance into Rosie's house.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I would still say yes, maybe too soon. Kelsey admitted
- 24:46Speaker 2: to that not the appropriate time. We weren't ready to
- 24:50Speaker 2: joke about it yet. We were still have some healing
- 24:52Speaker 2: to do But I don't think it was done with
- 24:56Speaker 2: ill intentions. I do think Kelsey thought Rosie could get
- 24:59Speaker 2: a lot out of it, which would bring them closer together.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Was it an.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Unwise decision, Yes, but we've all made unwise decisions. I
- 25:08Speaker 2: do think that it's possible to like heal that same look.
- 25:13Speaker 4: At Kelsey owning up to her actions. I think that
- 25:16Speaker 4: they'll have a better friendship in the future. Yeah, hope, Yeah, yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 4: I think that. I wonder if Rich if they have
- 25:23Speaker 4: a ring camera or anything, got to see any of
- 25:26Speaker 4: her like pushing Kelsey out of the house that of
- 25:28Speaker 4: the iconic Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 2: And also probably a motivation to be like, yeah, let's
- 25:33Speaker 2: fix this because what I saw there is not cool.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, he's like I've never heard Rosie scream
- 25:39Speaker 4: like that, probably, And then the other meat of this
- 25:42Speaker 4: party is, oh, basically Rosie telling Does Rosie tell Alicia
- 25:49Speaker 4: that she should tell her tell Rula about this video?
- 25:53Speaker 4: I think she's like, you should tell her, and she's like,
- 25:55Speaker 4: I'm not ready. And then Rosie, I may have had
- 26:00Speaker 4: one too many and just kind of like I gotta
- 26:02Speaker 4: tell you, like there's a video, you know, and do
- 26:05Speaker 4: you know what's in it? And what I find amazing
- 26:07Speaker 4: at this scene is I would have as like the
- 26:10Speaker 4: wife who's like gathering the information, like, okay, tell me,
- 26:13Speaker 4: tell me. She immedates, like Brian, Brian, they're they're talking
- 26:16Speaker 4: about a video and getting him in on this conversation.
- 26:20Speaker 4: I would have gotten as much intel as possible and
- 26:22Speaker 4: then maybe I've talked to Brian. She almost crying right
- 26:28Speaker 4: there to contradict it and make her feel better immediately.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I'm shocked that Brian still shows up one.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I'm shocked shocked that he continues to say, yes, I
- 26:40Speaker 2: will come to this party, knowing that every time I've
- 26:42Speaker 2: come to one of these public events, the end of
- 26:45Speaker 2: the night ends with me leaving early because you guys
- 26:47Speaker 2: are making accusations against me that I am uncomfortable with,
- 26:52Speaker 2: either either because they're real or not real. He is
- 26:56Speaker 2: still yet really defended himself in a way that even
- 26:59Speaker 2: makes me think he's a liar.
- 27:00Speaker 4: He just kind of keeps an aneurism.
- 27:04Speaker 3: It's very confusing, Laura.
- 27:05Speaker 4: He goes, oh, you know, you know, dates can He
- 27:08Speaker 4: look never looks at anyone in the eye, He looks around,
- 27:11Speaker 4: he looks down. He goes, you know, dates could be altered,
- 27:13Speaker 4: dates could be doctored. Hell, you know no, No, it's like,
- 27:17Speaker 4: this is crazy, the denial.
- 27:20Speaker 3: And it's crazy to me that Rula hasn't at some point.
- 27:23Speaker 3: I mean.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Benefit of the doubt here, but if my wife was
- 27:28Speaker 2: getting told by close friends multiple different ways, hey, Ben
- 27:33Speaker 2: is doing something that I don't think you'd be proud
- 27:35Speaker 2: of or supportive of, and she's like the first time,
- 27:39Speaker 2: she's like, no, I know my husband, he wouldn't do that,
- 27:42Speaker 2: and then it is there's different evidence, should go Okay,
- 27:49Speaker 2: still know my husband, but I'm gonna ask him, yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 2: and then a whole another third video. I think at
- 27:56Speaker 2: some point Jessica would be like, what is going on here? Ben, Like,
- 27:59Speaker 2: please tell me exactly what's happening to where there's so
- 28:05Speaker 2: much backing to this now and so many people are
- 28:08Speaker 2: involved in it, people that supposedly care about me at
- 28:11Speaker 2: least a little bit, that this can't be all wrong
- 28:16Speaker 2: and false.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
- 28:19Speaker 4: I know, like we're still talking about this affair and
- 28:22Speaker 4: like all this evidence is coming out, but it's still
- 28:25Speaker 4: just as wild to me as the first time we've
- 28:28Speaker 4: heard about it, because there's just more and more evidence
- 28:31Speaker 4: and there has to be something tying them together. And
- 28:34Speaker 4: the only reason I can think of that he keeps
- 28:37Speaker 4: showing up and talking to these people and doing what
- 28:40Speaker 4: he's doing is because he is a fame whore. He
- 28:43Speaker 4: just wants his face out there for some reason, and
- 28:45Speaker 4: he just loves attention, good or bad.
- 28:47Speaker 2: It's bizarre, yeah, but it's not uncommon in reality television.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Lord, and these people are nuts. I saw some it
- 28:54Speaker 4: was like another podcast and they were talking about Jared.
- 28:56Speaker 4: They're like, can we just use Jared as an example
- 28:59Speaker 4: here of he has the capability of being like more
- 29:04Speaker 4: famous and using a platform, but all he wants to
- 29:06Speaker 4: do is make coffee. He's like, that is the exact
- 29:09Speaker 4: opposite of Brian, who's literally just trying to get more
- 29:11Speaker 4: followers and fame to show how bad of a person
- 29:15Speaker 4: he is.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Well, yeah, and that that has been since my first
- 29:19Speaker 2: time on reality television and getting to know people intimately
- 29:23Speaker 2: through the shows, it has been one of the biggest
- 29:27Speaker 2: con it's most confusing dynamics of a human behavior that
- 29:32Speaker 2: I've ever experienced, is Hey, why are you okay with
- 29:37Speaker 2: being famous yet not respected? Mm hmm, and also continuing
- 29:45Speaker 2: to like get punished in life by public opinion why
- 29:50Speaker 2: do you continue to pursue this? Sometimes it's unwarranted, Sometimes
- 29:54Speaker 2: the public is wrong. But in this case, at some
- 29:57Speaker 2: point Brian Rula has to say or Brian has say.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Hey, maybe the public is right. When does the arrest
- 30:05Speaker 3: come into play here? Like, what's so?
- 30:06Speaker 4: Next week is the finale? So I guess it happens
- 30:10Speaker 4: like right after this the Raymi Knights party.
- 30:13Speaker 2: So Bri, Yeah, we got a lot to learn there.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I think that's a storyline, as we've said throughout the season,
- 30:18Speaker 2: and one that we want to follow. Is so if
- 30:21Speaker 2: Rula is the one that is getting told Brian's up
- 30:25Speaker 2: to something, Brian's following Rula for obvious reasons, and that
- 30:33Speaker 2: feels like my expectation of that would be that all
- 30:37Speaker 2: of a sudden, Rula's eyes open up a little bit, yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 2: to the stuff that's been happening that she has been
- 30:43Speaker 2: denying or pushing aside.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Mentally, why do you think that she that he's tracking her?
- 30:50Speaker 4: You said for obvious reasons, but I feel like it
- 30:52Speaker 4: could be miss not misinterpreted, interpreted in a couple different ways.
- 30:56Speaker 2: I feel like he's doing it because he wants to
- 30:59Speaker 2: know where she's at all times. In case he is
- 31:04Speaker 2: canoodling at his office, he wants to know she's on
- 31:06Speaker 2: our way.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, that's what I think.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Okay, that would be my guess. Yeah, that would be
- 31:11Speaker 3: an alleged guess by me.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Yes, alleged guess. I think that, yes, that is that
- 31:18Speaker 4: as possible or maybe like he is going to try
- 31:23Speaker 4: to like flip it or something and be like, well,
- 31:26Speaker 4: where were you? I saw that you were here or
- 31:28Speaker 4: something and make her look like the bad person because
- 31:31Speaker 4: there's so much AMMO for him that we have to
- 31:34Speaker 4: make her look bad if there is an impending divorce,
- 31:38Speaker 4: you know. But I think it's a multiple of reasons. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Arrested, arrested in the midst This season has not been
- 31:48Speaker 2: good for Brian. Out of everybody else, I feel like
- 31:50Speaker 2: it has been the worst for Brian.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Okay, can I just say one more thing about the
- 31:53Speaker 4: about Brian. He calls Joellen ho Ellen like ho Ellen, sir,
- 32:01Speaker 4: you're literally cheating on your wife in front of all
- 32:03Speaker 4: of Rhode Island. How is Joeellen hell wellen? Because she's
- 32:07Speaker 4: calling you out. That's so aggressive.
- 32:10Speaker 3: And there's a lot I want to say here, Lauren.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Okay, I guess when it comes to Brian, he just
- 32:18Speaker 2: consistently looks so bad during this whole season that it
- 32:24Speaker 2: almost feels like him using a derogatory term towards another
- 32:29Speaker 2: woman is not even the thing we talk about, Like,
- 32:32Speaker 2: that's how bad he looks.
- 32:33Speaker 3: That's like so far downe the list.
- 32:35Speaker 2: If I go on television and I was to call somebody,
- 32:40Speaker 2: that it would be a.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Headline, headline, headline, headline everywhere.
- 32:44Speaker 3: I'd be canceled, crush destroyed, and.
- 32:48Speaker 4: That was brushed over. I forgot about it.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not even a thing with him, because I
- 32:53Speaker 2: think there's so many other things that were confused by
- 32:58Speaker 2: or talking about.
- 33:00Speaker 4: Call. And then Rula calls to a cockroach. That's Rula's
- 33:03Speaker 4: favorite term is calling people cockroaches. And it's just you're
- 33:07Speaker 4: directing your anger and another in the wrong place yet again. Anyways,
- 33:11Speaker 4: after the party, they we show Kelsey and Liz again
- 33:15Speaker 4: doing clam stuff, right, I don't know that's where That's
- 33:20Speaker 4: where Kelsey says, our Liz, do you think that you're
- 33:23Speaker 4: ever wrong? And she says no, and that's pretty much it, really,
- 33:27Speaker 4: And then they show us show them all getting ready
- 33:29Speaker 4: for Block Island, where the husbands all come and uh,
- 33:32Speaker 4: I think that's where Brian gets arrested before. I don't know.
- 33:37Speaker 4: I don't know where that plays out. Actually, that'd be
- 33:39Speaker 4: very interesting if if Brian couldn't go to Block Island
- 33:41Speaker 4: because he was arrested, But we don't know that yet.
- 33:54Speaker 2: The rest of the show, the rest of this episode
- 33:56Speaker 2: is really just kind of RecA it feels like in
- 34:00Speaker 2: a lot of ways. So the rest of the episode,
- 34:03Speaker 2: we see Kelsey and Liz on the beach, where Liz
- 34:06Speaker 2: is very happy. We get to see, as you said,
- 34:09Speaker 2: Liz admitting that she's never been wrong. We do see
- 34:12Speaker 2: Joellen talking about how hurt she is by this whole scenario. Lauren,
- 34:17Speaker 2: The final thing I want to talk to you about
- 34:20Speaker 2: is something that could be nothing. But Rosie is the
- 34:24Speaker 2: one that brings the video to Rula's attention. It is
- 34:28Speaker 2: not Joellen, it is not Liz, it's not Kelsey. It's Rosie,
- 34:34Speaker 2: who has also not had an easy got during this
- 34:37Speaker 2: season at making friendships. Does this backfire on Rosie?
- 34:42Speaker 4: That would be awful if it did. But Rula did
- 34:46Speaker 4: seem very offended that her best friend in the whole group, Alisha,
- 34:50Speaker 4: didn't bring this video to.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Her Alicia's not the person though.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, like you said, Alicia is like this,
- 34:57Speaker 2: like sweet innocent, yeah adult who's a ten year old
- 35:03Speaker 2: who just wants to be have fun and be around.
- 35:05Speaker 4: And yeah, I really hope it doesn't back far on Rosie.
- 35:10Speaker 4: I couldn't imagine it doing so, so I'm just kind
- 35:16Speaker 4: of scared for Alicia. I guess it doesn't really matter, though.
- 35:20Speaker 4: I feel like this fight would be so stupid, like
- 35:23Speaker 4: to redirect more hate on someone who's just trying to
- 35:28Speaker 4: deliver information on Rula.
- 35:29Speaker 3: But it's why she got mad at Joellen.
- 35:32Speaker 4: Yeah, they're so stupid. I don't understand this hatred. I don't.
- 35:37Speaker 2: It's there's hatred towards Joellen because of her continuing to
- 35:42Speaker 2: kind of bring information to the forefront. We do see
- 35:45Speaker 2: the whole crew going to block Island if Joellen is there.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Which she is.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Yeah, we know this video is gonna get shown immediately,
- 35:56Speaker 2: right t Arrula like that.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Our expectation is that.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Well, did Rula not see it at the Arabian Nights party?
- 36:04Speaker 4: She just heard the description of it.
- 36:06Speaker 3: She has heard the description, Oh.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Okay, so yeah, she has to see it, has to
- 36:11Speaker 4: see it. I would I would hold her eyes open
- 36:13Speaker 4: with toothpicks and be like, watch this video now, try
- 36:16Speaker 4: to disprove this.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Yeah, the dates are unaltered.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Unaltered, verified, not ai, not Ai gross. I hate this woman.
- 36:29Speaker 4: I hate this woman the mistress too. I just don't.
- 36:32Speaker 4: I'm getting like ached out by an entire situation because
- 36:34Speaker 4: Brian's just looks so bad, worse and worse and worse
- 36:37Speaker 4: and worse every week.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Who said this isn't the first time that Brian's had
- 36:41Speaker 2: bellies and titties on them or something like that, I
- 36:45Speaker 2: don't remember.
- 36:47Speaker 4: I think it was Kelsey. I'm gonna give Kelsey the
- 36:49Speaker 4: credit there. It's so true. There was one part that
- 36:52Speaker 4: Ashley was so mad they didn't put in. It was
- 36:55Speaker 4: with when everyone was fighting or discussing, like like rose
- 37:00Speaker 4: See and Kelsey were making up or whatever they were doing,
- 37:03Speaker 4: and then Rula was getting information about the video and
- 37:05Speaker 4: Ashley is belly dancing with the belly dancer because she
- 37:08Speaker 4: has nothing contributes, and I was like, I would have
- 37:10Speaker 4: loved if they panned over to Ashley just trying to
- 37:13Speaker 4: belly dance, literally riding solo.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Just I don't want to be around this stuff. I
- 37:19Speaker 3: feel a lot more comfortable here.
- 37:20Speaker 4: She's puffing her hand in belly.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Yeah, is actually a good dancer.
- 37:24Speaker 4: The worst dancer actually of all time.
- 37:27Speaker 3: I wondered that.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Okay, so like she doesn't have that in her like
- 37:31Speaker 2: to even try.
- 37:34Speaker 4: But I will say she has a great stomach, so
- 37:35Speaker 4: if it were any kind of dancing she would succeed
- 37:38Speaker 4: that it would be belly dancing.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Okay, but it just yeah, it's not like it's not
- 37:42Speaker 2: something that she would be doing. And like impressing the masses, I.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Would love for her to do Dancing with the Stars
- 37:48Speaker 4: one day and go home the first day, because there's
- 37:50Speaker 4: no way she would deserve to go further than that.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Hey, for the preview for the next episodes, Lauren, we
- 37:56Speaker 2: got the crew going to Block Island. As we said,
- 37:59Speaker 2: it is the Road Island Caribbean, because Rhode Islanders cannot
- 38:02Speaker 2: seem to leave Rhode Island. They just find new places
- 38:05Speaker 2: in that state to visit. We kind of get a
- 38:09Speaker 2: comparison to this whole weekend with the waters being rough,
- 38:14Speaker 2: and if this is going to be a rough weekend,
- 38:16Speaker 2: we'd have to expect it would be. Why would they
- 38:18Speaker 2: all get together and not have some type of issues.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Brian is admitting to Gary that he messed up, and
- 38:27Speaker 2: there is videotape, so we do at least get that
- 38:31Speaker 2: hint at what is to come. Rula's crying at the dinner,
- 38:35Speaker 2: Brian is arrested, and Rosie asking Rula, what are you
- 38:39Speaker 2: going to do?
- 38:41Speaker 4: I love that part. I've been excited for that part
- 38:44Speaker 4: of the whole season because it's so point blank like, Okay,
- 38:47Speaker 4: now you know this, who's arrested. You have to make
- 38:50Speaker 4: a decision. And I just hope that she says something
- 38:53Speaker 4: like meaningful, not like I don't know, I don't know.
- 38:57Speaker 4: It's like now you know, now you know you're gonna do?
- 39:00Speaker 4: That's she with the title of the episode.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Again, we've said it the whole time.
- 39:04Speaker 2: My own personal values, morals, convictions taken out of it.
- 39:09Speaker 2: If Rula at some point says, hey, guys, I know
- 39:12Speaker 2: he's been doing this. I've known he's been doing this,
- 39:14Speaker 2: and I'm good with it.
- 39:16Speaker 3: End a story.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Fine, fine, Hey you guys, do you I can't change you.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I'm not going to try to change you. I don't
- 39:23Speaker 2: know you. I'm watching you on television. How I would
- 39:25Speaker 2: operate my life. No, But does that matter here? Not
- 39:28Speaker 2: at all? But she's yet to even give us that it's.
- 39:34Speaker 2: This whole thing has been so frustrating, I think for me,
- 39:38Speaker 2: because I don't know where Rula stands. Does she not
- 39:41Speaker 2: believe the stuff she's been confronted with and is that
- 39:44Speaker 2: why she's in denial?
- 39:45Speaker 3: Does she believe it and just not care okay?
- 39:51Speaker 2: Or does she really think all of this has been
- 39:53Speaker 2: manipulated and created by AI and none of it's real.
- 39:58Speaker 4: She knows it's all I mean, in my head as
- 40:01Speaker 4: a viewer watching this, I think she knows it's all real,
- 40:05Speaker 4: and she's just choosing to believe what Brian's telling her
- 40:08Speaker 4: because it's easier.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Wait and find out. We've got more episodes that come.
- 40:16Speaker 2: The season is coming to an end, but we do
- 40:17Speaker 2: know that around the corner there is another season of
- 40:22Speaker 2: The Real Housewives of Rhode Island being filmed because of
- 40:25Speaker 2: the success of this season. So if you've enjoyed the
- 40:29Speaker 2: breakdowns and listening to us converse about all things Real
- 40:33Speaker 2: Housewives Rhode Island, the behind the scenes, our opinions and takes,
- 40:38Speaker 2: there is more to come if you just follow along. Lauren,
- 40:43Speaker 2: We're gonna chat next week.
- 40:44Speaker 3: I know.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Coming up, we have the finale and also a reunion,
- 40:48Speaker 2: and we're gonna plug in some episodes in between then
- 40:50Speaker 2: because we can't just do it all at once. We
- 40:52Speaker 2: want some special guests that will come on and help
- 40:55Speaker 2: us break it down. It's gonna be very fun and
- 40:57Speaker 2: exciting here at the almost famous podcasts.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Such Driven in Content to come. I'm so excited for
- 41:03Speaker 4: the reunion.
- 41:04Speaker 3: And you're in Rhode Island right now?
- 41:07Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 41:07Speaker 2: Yeah, is like the vibe different? Is Ashley a star
- 41:10Speaker 2: there right now?
- 41:11Speaker 4: Let me tell you When I landed today in this
- 41:14Speaker 4: Providence airport, I was like, it's got a it's got
- 41:17Speaker 4: a facelift. There's way more restaurants than normal. And I
- 41:20Speaker 4: was like, Ashley, you're actually bringing commerce and bring up
- 41:23Speaker 4: the economy because of Real House with Royal housewifs of
- 41:26Speaker 4: Rhode Island. And she was like, I know, like Newport
- 41:28Speaker 4: is going to be crazy this summer because people are
- 41:31Speaker 4: probably gonna do Newport Pizza, Mama Audrey's the Dispensary, like
- 41:36Speaker 4: hitting it up on like bachelorette parties and stuff. I
- 41:38Speaker 4: really think it's changing here.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, the power.
- 41:43Speaker 4: The power of Bravo.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Would we want anybody else to have the power that
- 41:48Speaker 3: actually has right now in the whole world.
- 41:50Speaker 4: Yeah. Just we just want Ashley to hold that power, honestly,
- 41:53Speaker 4: and I want her to continue holding the power because
- 41:55Speaker 4: she needs a bigger house. Guys, this is insane. I'm
- 41:59Speaker 4: trying to find one place to sit here and quiet,
- 42:02Speaker 4: and there's nowhere to go.
- 42:04Speaker 3: Maybe next season the storyline could be We're building a
- 42:07Speaker 3: five thousand square.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Oh yes, it's very good.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Hey, we'll be back next week breaking down the Real
- 42:14Speaker 2: Housewives of Rhode Island. Until next time, I've been been.
