- 0:00Speaker 1: For all you med bastards loving the Big Show podcast,
- 0:05Speaker 1: get up even closer on Instagram, YouTube and ticked off
- 0:09Speaker 1: for raw targets for TO seven every weekday on radio.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I care, don't get eight fellows. Here is here? I
- 0:18Speaker 1: am here, he is.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I got lost there for a while, but then I
- 0:21Speaker 2: found myself here. I'll tell you what, fellas. We're here
- 0:24Speaker 2: in Fiji, and what a salubrious, magnificent establishment this place says.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I mean, Fiji in and of itself is beautiful, but
- 0:35Speaker 2: this place is next level.
- 0:36Speaker 1: It is.
- 0:37Speaker 3: It's too good for us.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Yes, it's way too good for it. It's not too
- 0:40Speaker 1: good for us yet, but soon it will be. But
- 0:42Speaker 1: I bet there'll be lots of people that's too good
- 0:44Speaker 1: for I saw a lot of Australians out there. It's
- 0:47Speaker 1: so good for them, and you can only imagine it's
- 0:49Speaker 1: going to go the rails for them. Oh, you totally.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I'm amazed that they're even allowed in here. I mean,
- 0:55Speaker 2: that's not racist, is it? No, that's that's that's all
- 0:59Speaker 2: g And I'm steering across the little desk here and
- 1:03Speaker 2: Mogi's got himself a massive coconut drink. What is that
- 1:08Speaker 2: particular combo there that you're running, Mogi.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Well, it's making my head quite hot, so that's normally
- 1:14Speaker 1: a precursor to that's normally a precursor to an effect
- 1:18Speaker 1: on the speech. But what it is, it's an entire
- 1:21Speaker 1: coconut with a head lopped off it and then it
- 1:24Speaker 1: had well. The gentleman asked me if i'd like it's
- 1:27Speaker 1: strong or not, and it seemed rude to say no.
- 1:30Speaker 1: So I think it's pretty much just a lot of
- 1:32Speaker 1: rum and some coconut water in there. And then he
- 1:35Speaker 1: decorated it with a bit of pineapple, one cherry and
- 1:39Speaker 1: something else, and yeah, it's good, she's strong.
- 1:44Speaker 4: I tasted it. It's like someone just lopped the head
- 1:46Speaker 4: off a coconut, tipped all the water out and then.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Just tipped rum it. Yeah, okay, and then gave it.
- 1:51Speaker 1: To old Mogi. He asked me if I wanted five
- 1:53Speaker 1: year old, a seven year old or fifteen year old rum, right,
- 1:57Speaker 1: and I just said whatever, it's the cheapest. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 1: only fifteen year old rum in a coconut.
- 2:02Speaker 3: If you're drinking it out of a coconut, doesn't it does?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 2:05Speaker 2: Give me Give me, Captain Morgan, which one has the
- 2:07Speaker 2: highest alcohol content on it responsibly of course. Well what
- 2:11Speaker 2: you fellas were doing that? I went for a quick
- 2:13Speaker 2: plunge in the surf and boy, oh, the tropical waters
- 2:19Speaker 2: of the Pacific Islands.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I tell you, I for you others.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It takes me back, it really does.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Okay, Well, what about why aren't you wearing your matching
- 2:29Speaker 4: shirt with us? It's really I just understand it is
- 2:32Speaker 4: so funny.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you why.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Because I had a T shirt underneath that, and when
- 2:37Speaker 2: we got to the airport after we'd done all the photos,
- 2:40Speaker 2: et cetera, I was actually getting hot, so I took
- 2:43Speaker 2: it off.
- 2:44Speaker 4: So Jas would rather walk around with a Brook Fraser
- 2:47Speaker 4: T shirt, wear his cool Feejean shirit that we've all
- 2:50Speaker 4: got that are all matching.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Well, actually it was chafing my nipples. If I'm being honest,
- 2:54Speaker 2: I think it's the.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Material when you've got a T shirt.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Taking the T shirt off the ship back on. Pug's
- 3:01Speaker 2: wearing his.
- 3:02Speaker 4: No, but he's not part of the big and also
- 3:03Speaker 4: he's going to count it out. He's not part of
- 3:06Speaker 4: the main big three who are broadcasting, and he'll be
- 3:09Speaker 4: taking photos of us, and you're gonna have a Brooke
- 3:10Speaker 4: Fraser T shirt on.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I tell you what, just for Keysy because he's so
- 3:14Speaker 2: wound up about it. I put it on for you, okay.
- 3:17Speaker 4: I want you to look like you're part of the team,
- 3:19Speaker 4: enjoying yourself.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I know you're not, and I know you hate.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Us Keezy, Oh Godna. Since I got detained, well, Pugs
- 3:28Speaker 4: did nice, sort of held his hand through it. Just
- 3:31Speaker 4: need what I need to do is get the show
- 3:32Speaker 4: done and then I'll be chill.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You've been pretty uptight to be feared, but a lot
- 3:38Speaker 1: of it is from a lack of food, which I
- 3:40Speaker 1: was suffering at the airport, and I was like, I'm
- 3:42Speaker 1: good at the moment, but if I don't eat, And
- 3:44Speaker 1: I just had in my mind that it was an
- 3:45Speaker 1: hour drive that we're going to have to endure while
- 3:47Speaker 1: also not long knowing how long we're going to have
- 3:49Speaker 1: to wait for you guys, two hours. I needed to
- 3:53Speaker 1: get some food to me, so I've eaten a I've
- 3:56Speaker 1: eaten two chicken raps from the local airport, and every
- 3:59Speaker 1: being you're gonna, I'm gonna, you know, something's going to
- 4:02Speaker 1: get terribly wrong with me. I'd be surprised they cooked
- 4:04Speaker 1: it fresh on the spot. Oh really, oh, you in
- 4:07Speaker 1: front of you, in front of me, and absolutely delicious.
- 4:12Speaker 1: The basutal you bought food I've ever had. But Kezy,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I saw you hit the wall with the food. It's
- 4:15Speaker 1: like you at that point you just need some food
- 4:17Speaker 1: in you.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I need food too.
- 4:19Speaker 4: And then also I knew that because I was like, Okay,
- 4:23Speaker 4: we'll go get food and then we'll meet back up
- 4:25Speaker 4: with Pugs. So when it saw where Pugs while has
- 4:27Speaker 4: got on the Wi Fi so I could communicate, and
- 4:29Speaker 4: then Jace went one way, Mike went the other way,
- 4:31Speaker 4: and I was just like, I have no idea what's
- 4:33Speaker 4: going on.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I had no idea what was going on either. I
- 4:35Speaker 2: just went towards the ocean.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Well, you told us, Kezy, to go to a certain bar,
- 4:40Speaker 1: so we went there. We walked past Jason immediately and
- 4:42Speaker 1: we said we're going to that bar over there, and
- 4:45Speaker 1: and then you just wandered away from us.
- 4:47Speaker 4: You know.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Well, I was just checking out the beach. I mean,
- 4:49Speaker 2: we just arrived and I wanted to see what the
- 4:51Speaker 2: beach was like.
- 4:52Speaker 4: And it's beautiful, by the way, is seriously jas No, seriously, no,
- 4:56Speaker 4: I'm being one hundred percent genuine, right, now we're going
- 4:59Speaker 4: to play golf tomorrow, right, Yes, we'll be Jesus's going
- 5:02Speaker 4: to wander off to the beach. Other than that, you
- 5:03Speaker 4: don't have to hang out with us. If you don't
- 5:06Speaker 4: like I'm being serious, you don't have You.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Tuned around and went back up the steps and said,
- 5:10Speaker 2: I'm just going to go and find pugs. Mogi and
- 5:13Speaker 2: his mates wandered off down our mates down the thing,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, I'll just go and check
- 5:18Speaker 2: out the beach. That's all that happened there. Yeah, okay, jeez,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I feel really under attacking.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It's not good. Is first day I've had to change
- 5:26Speaker 1: my clothes, the most stressed out we've ever been in.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Jason and I were having a yarn and we said
- 5:31Speaker 1: to ourself, Jesus, that's not bad. Is it as a job?
- 5:33Speaker 1: Actually no, it's great. We'll do us gppaciate it once
- 5:36Speaker 1: it's gone. Plenty of water to go under the bridge,
- 5:38Speaker 1: of course, But yeah, jeez, she's a she's a pretty
- 5:41Speaker 1: magic spot.
- 5:43Speaker 4: The Whole Ucky Beach Show week days from four on
- 5:47Speaker 4: Radio Hururarchy. Remember the Wcky Big Show podcast.
- 5:52Speaker 2: You think that's a little swimming pool there, or is
- 5:54Speaker 2: that just decoration.
- 5:55Speaker 1: That's decoration. Yeah.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Ok so and just for the listeners to we over.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Your head, so I don't want you going in there.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yeah okay, well at least at least you can see
- 6:03Speaker 2: me from here. Fuck it in trouble.
- 6:05Speaker 4: It's double over here on Jason. There are some floaties
- 6:08Speaker 4: we can use.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Phil.
- 6:09Speaker 3: I was going to ask you, what's just for the audience.
- 6:11Speaker 3: We're broadcasting from a conference room.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 4: So if it sounds echoe on now and also on
- 6:17Speaker 4: today's radio show, that's why.
- 6:18Speaker 1: It's only because it's fucking super echo in here. In fact,
- 6:21Speaker 1: it's so echoe that as soon as we started, our
- 6:24Speaker 1: assistant that's been provided by the hotel here immediately bailed.
- 6:27Speaker 1: He'd heard enough, he's gone there. I think that was
- 6:29Speaker 1: the content. Yeah, that's part of it. This is how
- 6:32Speaker 1: echo it is. Ah yeah, yeah, So what's what's the
- 6:36Speaker 1: plan tonight? We're going to finish the show obviously around
- 6:38Speaker 1: about seven New Zealand time, which is spright now, and
- 6:45Speaker 1: I think that'll be probably happy. Yeah, what is the
- 6:47Speaker 1: plan given that we've got a round of golf tomorrow
- 6:49Speaker 1: and I understand it is going to get up to
- 6:51Speaker 1: thirty five degrees yeah, okay.
- 6:55Speaker 4: So my strat is we go from here to get
- 6:58Speaker 4: my bag and I check into my hotel room.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Well, all of us need to do that.
- 7:01Speaker 4: I didn't take a steamer, right, okay, because i didn't
- 7:04Speaker 4: get to take one this morning, and I've just been
- 7:05Speaker 4: waiting to take one.
- 7:10Speaker 2: You were really hungry and you had a big steamer.
- 7:12Speaker 3: It's a combination of many, many times.
- 7:16Speaker 4: And then I will have a shower, not because I'm
- 7:19Speaker 4: doing a steamer, but just because I want to have
- 7:21Speaker 4: a shower.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's a tradition.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Actually, no, instead of doing that, I'll go for.
- 7:24Speaker 1: A swim after your steamer. You should have a shower, fairs, No,
- 7:29Speaker 1: I need to go in the ocean. Then it's all good.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Well just let us know what, Paul, you're going to
- 7:32Speaker 2: be swimming in.
- 7:33Speaker 4: That's all adults only. Yeah, yeah, And so that's what
- 7:37Speaker 4: I'll be doing. And then I'll probably have some sort
- 7:39Speaker 4: of late dinner at about eight or nine pm.
- 7:45Speaker 2: What's it's almost all gone, man, do the show fiercely, yeah,
- 7:51Speaker 2: and then hang with the fellows, go for a walk
- 7:53Speaker 2: along the beach. It's beautiful that beach. Maybe maybe depending
- 7:58Speaker 2: on what the tides doing A little dep.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I wonder where the sun sets. I've got no idea where.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I have no idea either, but of an ocean swim,
- 8:06Speaker 2: see what the fellows are doing. Go from there.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not going to go for any walks. I
- 8:11Speaker 3: will walk to the pool, I will walk to the
- 8:13Speaker 3: bar well.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I mean, in fairness, the beach is like it's one
- 8:17Speaker 2: hundred meters away.
- 8:18Speaker 4: But I don't want to walk like across the beach
- 8:20Speaker 4: and down around to see what's around that.
- 8:22Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 8:22Speaker 4: I just want to swim retails. I'm right there, to
- 8:26Speaker 4: be fair. Usually I'm not when I'm overseas somewhere else.
- 8:29Speaker 4: But because I've been to Fiji, I've been to this
- 8:31Speaker 4: resort before, and I just want two days of golf
- 8:33Speaker 4: and swimming and doing air.
- 8:35Speaker 1: For great sweet air.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Is that so much is too.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Much to us? Man? On a scale of one to ten,
- 8:42Speaker 1: how purse are you going to get tonight? I think
- 8:44Speaker 1: it depends how the mood is after you've done your steamer,
- 8:46Speaker 1: doesn't it, and you share It'll be my.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Post steamer moude with one obviously being completely sober, ten
- 8:52Speaker 4: being muggy after one coconut.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I reckon, I'll be like an eight.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we do need to get more drinks
- 8:58Speaker 1: in here. I'll say that.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Don't say that, then look at POGs.
- 9:04Speaker 1: And I didn't. I did to. Keezy is trying to
- 9:08Speaker 1: get you to get drinks. This water's over there is
- 9:10Speaker 1: pointing at the waters.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I don't think that's what Maggie was talking about. Just quietly,
- 9:15Speaker 2: A couple of coconuts would be good.
- 9:17Speaker 1: They are good. That was good. But yeah, just even
- 9:20Speaker 1: just a beer. You know, this is a cocab we've
- 9:23Speaker 1: ever done. Yeah, if we're going to have beers in Hocketziker,
- 9:26Speaker 1: it feels like we should be having them in Fishy Fishy. Yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Man, No, but it is. It is a spectacular place.
- 9:33Speaker 2: It's a little bit it's a little bit like am
- 9:38Speaker 2: All with pools.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Look, I mean this is the sort of place
- 9:41Speaker 1: you could lift up into the air and drop on,
- 9:44Speaker 1: sort of any beautiful beach anywhere in the world. Certainly
- 9:47Speaker 1: not going to get much of a taste of the
- 9:49Speaker 1: local culture outside of the fact that everybody they hire
- 9:52Speaker 1: here is the friendliest person in the world. And I'm
- 9:55Speaker 1: not saying that all Fijians are friendly, but certainly the
- 9:58Speaker 1: people that they hire to come and talk to you
- 10:00Speaker 1: and work at these resorts. Certainly they're definitely the friendliest.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I was telling Mogi kezy there when I went down
- 10:05Speaker 2: by the beach, and they've got all those lovely setups
- 10:07Speaker 2: with the shady sort of what.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Do you call those?
- 10:11Speaker 2: A little yeah, And I was sitting on one of
- 10:13Speaker 2: those and one of the staff came over and sat
- 10:16Speaker 2: next to mean he was like bully, and we had
- 10:17Speaker 2: a really lovely chat. He was so chill and he said, oh, well,
- 10:21Speaker 2: you know, just take your time, just breathe and enjoy
- 10:25Speaker 2: the ocean, and yeah, totally. But when he left and
- 10:29Speaker 2: then he said, and may God bless you on this
- 10:32Speaker 2: beautiful day.
- 10:34Speaker 1: No over it because he just wanted to sit there alone.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And then straight away some bastard count up and wants
- 10:40Speaker 1: a chat.
- 10:40Speaker 2: But it is beautiful, very lucky, indeed, team it is.
- 10:45Speaker 1: And I guess what's a little bit weird is we're
- 10:47Speaker 1: now sitting in essentially a conference room that you would
- 10:51Speaker 1: find any framata or whatever you name it back in
- 10:55Speaker 1: New Zealand. So it's a little bit devoid of any
- 10:59Speaker 1: kind of personality at all. So this this is the
- 11:01Speaker 1: weirdest ob Yeah, we'll do.
- 11:04Speaker 4: We're thinking of doing some Fiji potties too over the weekend,
- 11:07Speaker 4: just to keep you updated with our antics.
- 11:09Speaker 3: We're gonna do that, probably from Pugs's room.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yeah, so we'll get on.
- 11:15Speaker 3: But it's just a bitch because he's going to leave
- 11:17Speaker 3: it all set.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Up right, right, right, right right.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I think we can pump out twenty eight twenty podcasts, Yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I think so.
- 11:24Speaker 4: I was thinking maybe a couple at twenty minutes long. Okay,
- 11:27Speaker 4: twenty three. Well, once I've had a few, I don't mind,
- 11:29Speaker 4: you know.
- 11:30Speaker 1: So do them around breakfast because the way the guys
- 11:33Speaker 1: were doing over in Texas, they were doing it really hangover.
- 11:37Speaker 4: They weren't doing it drunk. Yes, have you listened to
- 11:42Speaker 4: those keys. I've listened to all of them. But I'm
- 11:44Speaker 4: thinking I would rather be at the breakfast buffet and
- 11:46Speaker 4: then playing golf slash, going on a snorkel boat to yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 4: then doing a podcast.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Let's just flag it. This person took out of it.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Yeah, scapist swims.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I reckon, bit of fashion. I reckon.
- 11:58Speaker 3: There's probably enough time on this podcast. I haven't been timing,
- 12:00Speaker 3: but I reckon that's a good amount.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Of it feels like it feels like forever. How long
- 12:04Speaker 1: is it, Jey, Twelve minutes too long, It's can you chop?
- 12:10Speaker 4: Two minutes of being mean to Jayson chopped to two
- 12:14Speaker 4: minutes of.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Been passed off, Twelve minutes of Moggi's.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Slur that thanks for listening. Don't forget listening to the
- 12:22Speaker 4: Big Show four or seven weekdays and radio heard a
- 12:25Speaker 1: Dude
