- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 0:02Speaker 1: day on this Monday. It's been a great day. Thank
- 0:05Speaker 1: you all for Yeah, Steve, come on and close us out.
- 0:11Speaker 2: You know, Man, the older I get, the more I
- 0:14Speaker 2: realize that you never stop learning. It amazes me the
- 0:21Speaker 2: stuff that I know that I have to relearn. I
- 0:27Speaker 2: have to put so many things that I preach about
- 0:32Speaker 2: have to turn around and put them to practice. I
- 0:36Speaker 2: tell people all the time, when God closes a door
- 0:40Speaker 2: for you, it is a simple sign from God that
- 0:45Speaker 2: he wants you to walk up the hall. Walk up
- 0:49Speaker 2: the hall because he has another door for you. I've
- 0:51Speaker 2: said that how many times on this show. Well, guess
- 0:55Speaker 2: what I have to remind myself of that, because okay, Steve,
- 1:01Speaker 2: suppose God close one of your dogs. Now, why you're
- 1:06Speaker 2: feeling soul some kind of way about it? Why you
- 1:11Speaker 2: having doubts and anxiety? Why now you're tripping trying to
- 1:14Speaker 2: figure out what your next movie is. What you've been
- 1:16Speaker 2: telling people? Man all these years, what have you been saying?
- 1:23Speaker 2: But you gotta practice what you preach. It is amazing
- 1:28Speaker 2: the older I get how much I still have to learn,
- 1:34Speaker 2: because sometimes you just have to revisit the lessons of life.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I tell people all the time. Man, it's a very
- 1:42Speaker 2: difficult thing to trust in God's timing. But if you
- 1:45Speaker 2: can manage to do that, it's put your future and
- 1:49Speaker 2: your hopes and your dreams and your tomorrow in the
- 1:51Speaker 2: hands of the almighty. The pressure valve that is released
- 1:55Speaker 2: from you is incredible. It is called and a common
- 2:00Speaker 2: peace when you're not worried about a thing, when you
- 2:04Speaker 2: know God got you, when you are convinced that he
- 2:08Speaker 2: will not fail you, that he'll never be too late,
- 2:10Speaker 2: that he's always on time. When you are convinced of that,
- 2:14Speaker 2: it releases stress and anxiety on an immeasurable state. Let
- 2:20Speaker 2: me explain something to you. Anxiety. I've learned this is
- 2:24Speaker 2: caused by two things that you have no control over.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You're either stressing about something you did and what the
- 2:34Speaker 2: outcome will produce. Are you stressing about tomorrow over which
- 2:38Speaker 2: you have no control. Once you stress about tomorrow and
- 2:42Speaker 2: you stress about your past, you are now dealing with
- 2:45Speaker 2: anxiety because you can't do nothing about either one of them.
- 2:51Speaker 2: So why put that on yourself? I know this, I
- 2:57Speaker 2: know this like I know my ABC's But guess what.
- 3:04Speaker 2: It's a hard practice sometimes, man, trusting in God's timing
- 3:09Speaker 2: is difficult because what I have learned in all my life,
- 3:14Speaker 2: God's timing ain't ever the same as mine. Because I
- 3:18Speaker 2: won't mind now when I pray, I actually want something
- 3:22Speaker 2: to happen. Now, I really do. I'm not gonna kid you.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I want the blessing now. You know, I've been asking
- 3:29Speaker 2: for something for years, for years, and havn't gotten it.
- 3:33Speaker 2: But you know what it was caused because I wasn't
- 3:35Speaker 2: showing enough appreciation for what I already had. I had
- 3:38Speaker 2: to stop and catch myself. So he set me down,
- 3:43Speaker 2: and I started looking around and realized what all God
- 3:45Speaker 2: had done for me. And now as I started to
- 3:48Speaker 2: thanking Him for all He's done for me, then guess what.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Some doors are starting to open. But for some doors
- 3:56Speaker 2: to open, some got to close. And you got to
- 4:00Speaker 2: deal with it, and you got to understand it. I'm
- 4:04Speaker 2: just grateful, man, that I'm in a position to be
- 4:08Speaker 2: able to think calmly in the face of adversity, because
- 4:12Speaker 2: I'm facing some but I'm calm about it. I'm Isaiah
- 4:18Speaker 2: forty three one and two that I can walk through
- 4:20Speaker 2: the fire and not get burned. That the rivers will
- 4:23Speaker 2: not overcome me, nor will Kindling set upon my clothing.
- 4:28Speaker 2: That means I can walk through the fire, and when
- 4:30Speaker 2: I come out the other side, Kindling his soot ain't
- 4:32Speaker 2: even on me. It don't even look like I've been
- 4:35Speaker 2: through nothing. And that's what That's how I'm gonna come
- 4:37Speaker 2: out of this way. It's gonna look like I ain't
- 4:39Speaker 2: even been through nothing. But now, the being able to
- 4:43Speaker 2: walk through fire and not get burned, I had to
- 4:45Speaker 2: learn something about that scripture. It didn't say that it
- 4:49Speaker 2: was not going to be uncomfortably hot, because sometimes the
- 4:53Speaker 2: fire you walking through you think it's burning. It's just hot.
- 4:57Speaker 2: It's just hot. But you're still walking. You haven't disintegrated.
- 5:02Speaker 2: The fire hasn't overtaken you. You're not done. You didn't explode.
- 5:09Speaker 2: You're still here. And when you come out on the
- 5:13Speaker 2: other side, you're gonna realize you here. But guess what,
- 5:16Speaker 2: there would be no signs of a struggle on you. Man,
- 5:18Speaker 2: it won't even look like you've been in that. But
- 5:20Speaker 2: it was hot. Though lost a little weight, it was hot.
- 5:27Speaker 2: But man, I've learned so many things, and I appreciate
- 5:31Speaker 2: the fact that God still allows me to learn. Oh boy,
- 5:36Speaker 2: it's tough, man. It is really tough being a good person.
- 5:41Speaker 2: But I don't know how to be nothing else. I
- 5:44Speaker 2: don't want to be a bad person. I'm too close
- 5:47Speaker 2: to the gate. I'm trying to do enough acts of
- 5:50Speaker 2: good that counts with God. You know. It's trying to
- 5:55Speaker 2: get it right, as is everybody else. All the preachers
- 5:59Speaker 2: is trying to get it right, y'all. All of them,
- 6:02Speaker 2: they human too. Cut them some slack. I know we
- 6:05Speaker 2: hold them to a high standard, but cut them some
- 6:07Speaker 2: slack because they're human beings too. So you know those
- 6:12Speaker 2: are my close remarks today. I'm I'm strong. I'm stronger
- 6:19Speaker 2: than our thought. But guess what you are too. You're
- 6:22Speaker 2: way stronger than you thought. If you look back on
- 6:25Speaker 2: all the things you've come through, you are an amazing person.
- 6:30Speaker 2: God has really been good to you. Why would he stop? Y'all?
- 6:35Speaker 2: Hear me good, have a great day today. Talk to God.
- 6:37Speaker 2: He'd absolutely love to hear from him.
