- 0:51SPEAKER_01: I'm excited because today's episode is actually a question submission.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: So I take submissions for my Instagram broadcast channel, which, if you are not following along on Instagram, make sure you do and join the broadcast.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: And today's question was so good.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: I love the way it was framed.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: So let me read it to you.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: It is, what are your top 10 daily slash weekly standards you hold that help you create wealth in all aspects of your life?
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: So we're going to be separating this into two parts.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Part one, the first five, part two, the second five.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: And they are in no particular order.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: They are just the order that came out of my brain as I was answering it.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: But they're all huge.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Like all of these 10 standards that I have will start stacking and compounding faster in your life than not doing them.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: So let's dive in.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Number one, this is gonna be the most important one.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: I know I said they're in no particular order.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: If I had to put one, it's this one and then everything else beneath it.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: And that is connection to source.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Number one, non-negotiable.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Doesn't matter where I am, where I wake up, what I'm doing.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: It is the through line that runs through my entire life.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: It is there is no point in doing anything if I'm not doing that, if I'm not connected to that.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Where I notice this standard either defaults for people or they don't carry it through, is it becomes something they do as their morning routine, but it's not something that they carry through throughout their lives.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: So, yes, in the morning, it's very important for me to connect first thing when my eyes open, or even right before my eyes are open as I'm like laying in bed, tapping back in, connecting, but it's also throughout the whole day.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: What I notice most often is that people do it as a morning practice or a morning routine, but then they end up defaulting and they lose that connection when they go throughout their day.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: It's like they connect, they might meditate for 10 minutes, 30 minutes in the morning, but then they go on to going to work, maybe getting the kids ready for school, they've got relationships, whatever they're doing, and they lose that connection.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: So it doesn't become something that moves throughout your whole day.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: It was only something you did in the morning and maybe something you also did at night.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: The standard I have is that that actually ripples through many times throughout the day, throughout everything I'm doing.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: So whether I'm on calls with clients, whether I'm creating content, when I'm eating my lunch, when I'm drinking my morning coffee, when I'm walking a kasha, my golden retriever, it's so important.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: And what the more you can connect with that, the more wealth you're going to create in your life because A, you are connected with the unseen, you are connected with the quantum field, but you are connected into something bigger than you, right?
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: So when you are more connected to God, source, universe, whatever you want to call it, you're tapped into that realm.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: You're tapping to a higher frequency versus getting distracted and being in reaction mode to everything around you.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: It actually allows you to operate from a higher level of creation because you are more tapped into the quantum and you're bringing that through.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: You're not basically playing whack-a-mole reacting to your current environment.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: So that standard for me has been absolutely huge.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: It I a hundred percent attest to it to the reason why I have the success that I do and I have the things that I do.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: The more you can stay connected to that, not just as a way of morning practice, but a way of being and finding ways to weave that in through your day, your week, you will be shocked what will happen.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Number two, the second standard I have is around nutrition and water.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna lump nutrition and water together.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: I thought about making them separate, but essentially the the things we're consuming with our mouths, if you will.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: Water is so important because as beings, we are 70% water.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: If you have not looked into the dangers of tap water, all the horrible stuff that's in tap water, you can go and do that.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: I won't make that about what this podcast is, but essentially, tap water is very awful for you.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: We are 70% water.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: I drink spring water.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: And this is important because when you're 70% water, you have to think about the water that I'm consuming.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: If you're consuming tap water and brita filters is not filtered water, I mean like spring water, reverse osmosis water, anything like that is going to have a huge impact on your physical health and on your body because it's something you're consuming all the time, every day.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: I remember when I switched to spring water, it was back in Toronto.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: I remember I was single at the time.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: It was like 2021, I want to say.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Time is weird.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: Within seconds of switching from drinking tap water or filtered water, and my fiance is laughing at me behind the scenes as I say this, I felt astronomically different.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Especially when you are very intuitive, when you were very energetic based, when I switched from quote unquote regular water to that water, huge.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: I was actually blown away how different I feel when I drink good water versus not good water.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: So if you have not switched your water yet, I would highly recommend doing so.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: And with that comes the nutrition.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Nutrition is a very high standard for me.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: I uh I've been gluten-free for 15 years.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: I don't eat refined sugars, you know, I eat grass-fed meat, and I definitely make sure to get enough protein.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: And I know there's a protein craze on right now.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: And I'm not saying, you know, I don't necessarily think we should be eating like the protein processed candies and the protein chips and everything, but like the protein that's in chicken and beef and eggs, I do one to 1.25 grams per kilogram or per pound ideal body weight.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: That has made a huge difference in my physique, in my body composition.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: I have never been so toned and so lean by getting enough protein.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: And most people don't get enough protein.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: You'd be shocked.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: I would say, I remember when I did healthy like recipes and health counseling and wellness and all of that.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: And the amount of women who were coming to me and weren't eating enough protein was massive.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: You know, two eggs for breakfast, not enough protein.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Three eggs for breakfast isn't even enough protein.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: So protein is huge for a reason.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: I think just people are getting a bit crazed in terms of putting it into gum and putting it into candy, like let's just eat real whole foods.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: But that standard allows my body to operate in peak physical state.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: It allows my body to also be healthy, my hormones to be healthy, like my hair to be healthy, everything to be healthy because I'm getting enough protein, your nervous system.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: We all know I'm the queen of nervous system.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: We need the amino acids and protein.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: We're not getting enough protein, not just in the beginning of the day, but throughout the day, like I said, probably at least 120, 130 grams of protein, you're gonna notice a difference in your physical body when you're not doing that.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: And when I say it's a standard, it's even when I'm traveling.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: You know, I've sent pictures.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: If I can find the picture, I think it's probably in my messages with my trainer.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: I'll whip out a chicken breast at the airport at 7 a.m.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: And curve my fiance will be like, oh my God, I can't believe you're eating a chicken breast.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: I'm like, because standards are standards.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: I've meal prep a little, like, you know, cooked eggs, essentially an omelet.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: I'll put that in a Ziploc bag.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: I'll eat my eggs because I don't know necessarily at the airport if I'm gonna be able to find enough protein.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: Like, I'll make something and I'll bring it.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: And so when I say it's the standard, it's like, well, I'm planning.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: I'm bringing my chicken breast in my bag, I'm bringing my eggs, I'm bringing my protein.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: Like I always have that.
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: And where I see people slip the standards is it doesn't become a non-negotiable, right?
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: The protein doesn't become a non-negotiable for them.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: The water doesn't become a non-negotiable.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: And so that's why I've always been the fan of the word standards, because when you have that standard for yourself, then everything else settles into place, but it's also a form of self-love and self-respect.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: With this standard, but also all the ones I'm gonna be talking about, to me, it's the highest form of self-love and self-respect to stay by your standards, right?
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: To set standards and hold them, it's a biggest form of self-love and self-respect.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: So the third standard I have is movement.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: Now, this one is huge for me.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: Movement is a non-negotiable, right?
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: The 10 to 15,000 steps I do every day is a non-negotiable.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: This is something I've always implemented.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: I have been, you know, going on walks, I've been moving my body.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: I belong to a gym since I was like 13 years old.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: So whether I've been doing spin or Pilates, now I've been weight training for the last four years.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: Game changer.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: Movement has always been a priority.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: Getting my steps in, getting walking has always been a priority.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: No matter how busy I've been, no matter what I have going on with work, like no matter what my steps get done, I train, I lift, I work out, I move my body.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: That is huge for allowing energy to flow.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: That is huge for, again, peak state.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: I know what I need to do to keep myself in like peak physical mental state.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: That is huge for me.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: And I firmly believe and know that the healthier you are, the more money you make.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: There's a direct correlation, you know, when you take care of your body, when you eat right, when you move it, you make more money.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: There is this devotion that you have to yourself that absolutely ripples into your income.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: And that's not like the reason why I do it, but it definitely amplifies that and it allows you to just feel better in your body, right?
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: It allows you to feel stronger.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: I can't tell you, since I started lifting weights four years ago, you feel so badass when you're like leg pressing 320 pounds, or like when you're doing pull-ups, and like now I can do like eight full um pull-ups on my own.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: No chin-ups, chin-ups on my own.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: There's always a difference.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: Every time I call it pull-up, I'm like, wait, is it a pull-up or chin-up?
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: It's a chin-up, it's it's these one.
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: But it makes a huge difference.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: And it also builds a lot of resilience and it builds a lot of confidence in yourself, especially when you are weightlifting.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: So movement is huge.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: And again, it's a standard.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: It's not a do I move my body?
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: Do I not?
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: Do I walk?
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: Do I not?
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: Do I train?
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: Do I not?
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: It's like training is a standard.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: We take ourselves as a standard, brushing the teeth as a standard, same type of thing.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: Okay, the fourth standard I have are boundaries.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: This one is huge.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: I am the boundaries queen now, but I didn't always used to be this way.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: I used to be the biggest people pleaser, the biggest yes woman, but not in like where you say yes to new things and new experiences.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: I mean you say yes to people please, you say yes so you won't be judged, you say yes so that you'll be like, now I am so savage with my boundaries, with like my energy, that absolutely creates more wealth in all aspects of my life.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: Like I don't split my energy, I don't allow, like I don't override myself.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: There was a time where I would override and say yes because I thought, well, if I say yes and they'll like me.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: Or if I override and say yes, then I'll be loved, then I won't be rejected, or then I won't be judged.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: But turns out you'll still be rejected and judged.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: You'll just feel resentment and bitterness because you didn't hold your boundaries.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: And so whether that's, you know, capacity in terms of when I'm plugging into my clients or my, you know, my boundaries around Telegram, whether that's energetic boundaries for conversations or the way people speak to me or don't speak to me, whether that's boundaries in terms of my my schedule and whether, you know, how many calls I'll allow in a day or how much I'll I'll load it up, boundaries are so important because when your energy is scattered and when you don't have boundaries, you end up overriding your own signal.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: You end up self-abandoning, and then you end up depleted.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: Now, what I want to say to this is there's a difference between stretching your capacity and not honoring your boundaries.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: However, where I notice most people do is they don't have boundaries with the things that are draining them, but then they don't push their edge with the thing that will expand them.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: So there's pushing your edge and expanding yourself to do new things, which is different than holding boundaries with the things that you know are a knowing your body or things that you know you don't have the energy or capacity for because you think you need to, because you think you need to do that to be successful, because you think you need to do that in order to please Sally or Harry or Karen or whoever it is.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: And the fifth standard I have is non-toxic, I was gonna say products, but I almost said also non-toxic people.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: So there's no toxicity in my life.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: And let's as kind of go along with boundaries.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: And in part two, I'll be discussing number six, which is gonna go into this a little bit deeper.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: But the less things your body has to filter through physically, but also energetically, the more wealthy you'll become.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: So let's talk about both.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: Let's talk about physically, right?
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: My makeup is non-toxic, my hair care is non-toxic, my cookware is non-toxic, my things that I eat.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: I know we went to nutrition, but I mean like non-toxic in terms of like there's no seed oils, there's no endocrine disruptors, and there's no BPAs, like we store our food in glass containers.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: This all sounds very simple.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: And I know a lot of you watching are also familiar with like microplastics and everything like that.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: It ends up lessening the energetic burden on your body.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: So then your body isn't then spending time through like your liver and everything like that, having to detox through all of the toxins you're putting in.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: So your body doesn't have to work on overdrive trying to.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: And that's really the fundamental thing is that when you are using toxic products, you increase the toxic burden on your liver and then your liver can't process.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: When your liver can't process, it ends up affecting your physical health.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: Some people come out in their skin, right?
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: Some people come out in their digestion, hormones, usually a combination of all the things.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: So the less burden we can put on our bodies, then the less things it has to metabolize through, and the more it can just stay in peak state.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: And then I'm also going to line in like non-toxic, you know, people and dynamics and relationships kind of goes back to the boundaries, but the standard for that is not allowing that in your life.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: When you have the standard that no toxic elements, people, things, cosmetics, whatever it is going to be, is not allowed in, you will then have to spend so much less time trying to play catch up.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: And that's where I notice a lot of women, if you're ingesting all this toxic things, whether it's, you know, toxic consumption on social media or the news or your food, your nervous system is literally filtering out through so much more.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: You're putting so much more in the system, and that ends up weighing you down and then keeping you less clear and keeping you less alive.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: So that was part one.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: Join us for part two of the other five standards I have in my life that allow me to create wealth in all aspects.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: And I will see you in part two.
