  Speaker 1: us to go to God in prayer. And as always

  Speaker 1: I ask that you join along with me in prayer,

  Speaker 1: and on today, I want to pray about this spirit

  Speaker 1: of anger. I look at our cities, I look at

  Speaker 1: our nation, I look at the world, and I see

  Speaker 1: so much violence, so much strife, so much hatred. Breaks

  Speaker 1: my heart, It really really does. It seems like everybody

  Speaker 1: has such a short fuse. People have guns and they're
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: ready to shoot somebody, or they're ready to fight or
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: ready to argue're ready to attack. Y'all, That's not God's way.

  Speaker 1: We got to learn how to control our emotions. Father, God,

  Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus, we come before you today. God, God,

  Speaker 1: we pray for our city. God. We pray for our nation. God.

  Speaker 1: We pray for the world. We lift it up to you.

  Speaker 1: You said in your word, if my people who are

  Speaker 1: called by mine name, that's us. If we'll humble ourselves

  Speaker 1: in pray, if we'll seek your fai and we turn

  Speaker 1: from our wicked way. So it starts with us. God,

  Speaker 1: we pray against that spirit of anger and rage. You

  Speaker 1: even warned us God in Ephesians, in your anger, do

  Speaker 1: not sin, do not let the sun go down while

  Speaker 1: you're still angry, and do not give the devil a
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: Footold and James one. You said everyone should be quick

  Speaker 1: to listen, slow to speak, slow to become angry, because

  Speaker 1: human anger does not produce the righteousness of God. You

  Speaker 1: even told us God how to handle situations that would

  Speaker 1: frustrate us or make us angry. You said in Proverbs fifteen,

  Speaker 1: a soft answer turns away rap, but a harsh word

  Speaker 1: stirs up anger. So God, help us to be slow

  Speaker 1: to become angry, quick to listen. God, you, o Lord,

  Speaker 1: are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in

  Speaker 1: steadfast love and faithfulness. You are our example. You even

  Speaker 1: warned us not to make friendships with a man given

  Speaker 1: to anger, nor go with a wrathful man in Proverbs

  Speaker 1: twenty two. So Father, we pray right now open our

  Speaker 1: eyes God to any relationship that is not of you.

  Speaker 1: Help us to cut the cords. Father, we pray right

  Speaker 1: now for peace inside of us. We pray for peace

  Speaker 1: in our city, peace in our nation, peace in our homes,

  Speaker 1: in our families. God Lord, you said in your word

  Speaker 1: in Matthew chapter five, Blessed are the peacemakers because they

  Speaker 1: will be called the sons of God. Into a world
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: that is ugly with violence and hate. We're your peacemakers,
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: and we choose to bring peace in every area of
• 2:37
