  Speaker 1: the Ancestors of Jesus Christ, Verse one. This is a

  Speaker 1: list of the ancestors of Jesus Christ. Jesus was a

  Speaker 1: descendant of King David. David was a descendant of Abraham.

  Speaker 1: Abraham was the father of Isaac, was the father of Jacob,

  Speaker 1: was the father of Judah and his brothers.

  Speaker 1: Versus here, it's going to be hard to really apply

  Speaker 1: these to your lives and my life because truthfully, we

  Speaker 1: don't really need to know the ancestors of Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: As I read these, right, the Holy Spirit is also

  Speaker 1: And when we talk about ancestors, right, some of our ancestors,

  Speaker 1: how much we are like our ancestors. And we're completely

  Speaker 1: different too at times because of what we've learned and obtained,

  Speaker 2: Right, we're just like our ancestors.

  Speaker 1: So as I read these verses, I'm going to kind

  Speaker 1: So let's get into it. Verse three, Judah was the

  Speaker 1: father of Perez and Zira Tamra was their mother. Perez

  Speaker 1: was the father of Hazen. Wrong was the father of Ram.

  Speaker 1: Ram was the father of amende Bah. I'm gonna definitely

  Speaker 1: of Nashon. Nashan was the father of Salomon. Slom was

  Speaker 1: Verse eighteen, Jesus is born. This is how Jesus Christ

  Speaker 1: was born. His mother's was Mary. She had promised to

  Speaker 1: marry a man called Joseph. Then she discovered that she

  Speaker 1: was pregnant. This happened before they started to live together.

  Speaker 1: It was the Holy Spirit that caused this to happen
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: to her. You can only imagine how Joseph was tripping
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: Verse nineteen. Joseph was a good man. He wanted to
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: do what was right. He did not want Mary to
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: become ashamed in front of people, so he decided to
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: stop the marriage secretly. Secretly verse twenty, he thought about
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: what he should do. Then an angel came from the
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: Lord God to see him. The angel came to Joseph
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: while he was dreaming. The angel said, Joseph, you who
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: are from the family of King of David, take Mary
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: home as your wife.
• 5:52
  Speaker 2: Do not be afraid to do that. The baby that.
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: Is growing inside her is from the Holy Spirit Verse
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: twenty one. This is where we get deep. Mary will

  Speaker 1: give birth to a son. He will save his people
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: from their sins. Because of that, you must give him
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: the name Jesus. So as much as Joseph was trying
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: to be like, ah, I gotta get up out of here,

  Speaker 1: and ah the whole the Angel said, no, you gotta

  Speaker 1: wife up Mary. And I'm kind of slanging this out

  Speaker 1: No, Truthfully, when I really think about how we're talking

  Speaker 1: about how Jesus was born, right, the Holy Spirit put

  Speaker 1: it in, and Mary and Joseph had to be acceptive

  Speaker 1: of that. You can only imagine what he probably thought right.

  Speaker 1: I hope and pray that whoever's going in that ambulance

  Speaker 1: is okay, because that's definitely an ambulance going by. I

  Speaker 1: know the difference between police and ambulance. Anyways, Verse twenty two,

  Speaker 1: We're gonna dig a little deeper.

  Speaker 2: Matthew, Chapter one.

  Speaker 1: Verse twenty two states the Lord God had given a
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: message about this to one of his prophets long ago.

  Speaker 1: Now the message would become true. Verse twenty three. The
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: prophet had said, a young woman who has never had
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: sex will have a baby boy. People will call her
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: son Emmanuel. This name means God is with us. This
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: is how we'll close out.
• 8:07
  Speaker 2: Verse twenty four. Matthew, Chapter one.

  Speaker 1: Then Joseph woke up from his sleep. He did what
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: God's angel had said to him. He married Mary, and
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: he took her to his home. Verse twenty five. Joseph
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: did not have sex with Mary until after the baby
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: was born. He said that the boy's name should be Jesus.

  Speaker 1: See a lot of us tend to and this is
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: how we can really apply the last few verses to
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: our lives, and how I can, at least, there's been
• 8:43
  Speaker 1: numerous things in my.

  Speaker 2: Past relationship that.
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: Has been concerning, but at the same time, it's also
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: it's a part of the process. Everything happens for where

  Speaker 1: there's tough times in life, there's tough times in jobs,
• 9:04
  Speaker 1: there's tough times in relationships.
• 9:06
  Speaker 2: But what God has for you, God has for you.

  Speaker 1: The Spirit told me to not give up on this woman,
• 9:11
  Speaker 1: do not leave her. Well at this particular moment in time.
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: For two days, we have had no communication and we
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: are broken up, and I need prayers because this is
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: my soulmate, I believe, And we've prayed together. We've gone
• 9:29
  Speaker 1: to church, not necessarily in the physical together, but she
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: has been online. I have actually been in the building
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: of the church, and we have shared so much more
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: than just time but energy, and I mean the chemistry
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: is just unmatched. And it's not just for me, it's
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: for her as well. She has definitely had some some
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: times where she was scared and confused, and those feelings
• 10:02
  Speaker 1: rubbed off on me as well. And I can say
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: that we have self sabotaged the relationship a little bit.
• 10:08
  Speaker 1: But you know, when you have God in the mix
• 10:10
  Speaker 1: of anything, he can heal anything on his time. Though,
• 10:14
  Speaker 1: so at this particular point, you know, we're talking two
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: days later, it's later in the night. I have to
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: restrain myself from reaching out to her anymore, because I have,
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: even after we had the heated argument, and the spirit
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: told me to not give up. So how do I
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: not give up without being kind of like stockerish.
• 10:40
  Speaker 2: I gotta pray.
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: I gotta pray, and I have to continue to do
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: the next right thing by allowing her to have her space.
• 10:49
  Speaker 1: She did mention that she needed her space, she needed
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: some time to recover from something.
• 10:56
  Speaker 2: I'm not getting into the.
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: Details, but regardless, a little selfish, maybe a lot of selfish,
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: and not putting my self in her shoes or seeing
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: her perspective.
• 11:11
  Speaker 2: I got accustomed to though the routine.
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: Now that that routine is broken, I really felt it today,
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: you know, running off adrenaline the.
• 11:22
  Speaker 2: First day and praying a lot, being able to try
• 11:31
  Speaker 2: to be tamed.
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: And I had some really strong prayers though this afternoon,
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: to not reach out anymore than I have. I mean,
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: I know, I've left voicemails, I've left text messages, I've
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: left smoke signals, I've done just about everything to telepathic.
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, you know, I
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: believe we will meet. I don't know when I don't
• 12:03
  Speaker 1: necessarily even care anymore as much as I used to,
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: because I know that me following Christ and doing what
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: is right and having that consciousness of Christ put on
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: each and every day, I know that I can be
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: able to obtain not only the patience, but the love
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: and kindness and the growth spiritually, mentally, physically, all aspects
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: of me to be able to be a greater partner
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: for her. And I pray that she obtains the same thing.
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: I'm not sitting here saying that it's completely been blown
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: out of proportion. How we have led our control or
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: lack of, and our emotions and our thoughts get the
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: best of this relationship.
• 12:51
  Speaker 2: And we tend to forget.
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: And I'm not just talking about this relationship now in
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: particular how good we do have it, and how how
• 13:00
  Speaker 1: grateful we shall we should be knowing that we have
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: these types of people in our lives. I understand that
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: I went through a long period of time after my
• 13:12
  Speaker 1: previous relationship just solo. Wasn't really looking for nothing. Maybe
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: I was looking for trouble and I found it. I
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: found it in alcohol, I found it in drugs, I
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: found it in going to bars, I found it in
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: drinking in public, going to jail having felt any probation.
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: I mean, I have gone through the wringer. A lot
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: of it was self inflicted, though in my self destructive mode.
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: The we could say another word, but I won't. I'll
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: keep it PG. But just being in the don't care mode,
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: it was draining. It was very, very draining. And I'm
• 13:58
  Speaker 1: just so grateful that you know, I got one more minute.
