- 0:03Speaker 1: Life Back studio.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Stuart in
- 0:11Speaker 2: New Jersey. Stuart, how you doing.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark. I'm doing fine, Thank you. I just
- 0:16Speaker 1: wanted to say that that Palisade song was written actually
- 0:20Speaker 1: by Chuck Barriss of you know the Gun Show Fame.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Oh, you're right, Freddie Cannon a big, big hit with it.
- 0:26Speaker 2: You're right. Also, it was the other one I said,
- 0:30Speaker 2: where the action is actually written by Tommy Boyce. But
- 0:35Speaker 2: great song. Can you remember Palisades Park?
- 0:37Speaker 3: Oh?
- 0:38Speaker 1: Sure, Well I'm from Brooklyn, but I live in North
- 0:40Speaker 1: Berger now, so I had some friends out this way.
- 0:44Speaker 1: That's why I moved out here. But for sure, Pallisade
- 0:47Speaker 1: pulk definitely.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a little before my time. But what
- 0:50Speaker 2: what was? It was like an amusement park.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Right Coney Island and cousin Brucey used.
- 0:55Speaker 2: To do shows there and a lot of big rock
- 0:57Speaker 2: and roll actually to appear there. All right, Well, thanks
- 1:00Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 1:03Speaker 2: how you doing, good morning, Mark. That's Mike.
- 1:07Speaker 4: I'm afraid the only thing AOC has going for is
- 1:10Speaker 4: that you can't leave her behind. But but but sorry,
- 1:15Speaker 4: but Mandani makes me laugh. You know, he wants to
- 1:18Speaker 4: hold in bebingt in Yahoo, but he won't arrest guys
- 1:21Speaker 4: pushing people in front of subways or twelve blocks of
- 1:23Speaker 4: homeless degenerates and drug addicts on you know, by the
- 1:27Speaker 4: intrepid in their tense city.
- 1:29Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:29Speaker 4: So it's really interesting that he can marshal all these
- 1:32Speaker 4: forces to go after one state leader.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah. No, that's a good point. It's the first person
- 1:38Speaker 2: ever that he was actually going to arrest, and it's
- 1:40Speaker 2: bbing met in Yahoo. But thanks for calling. He can't
- 1:44Speaker 2: arrest net Yahoo. And there's no such thing as international law.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It's just something people say. It doesn't really exist. And
- 1:50Speaker 2: the International Criminal Court is not a real court. It's
- 1:53Speaker 2: not recognized by the United States. In fact, the leaders
- 1:57Speaker 2: of it aren't even allowed to enter the United States.
- 2:00Speaker 2: It was actually created by a bunch of left wing
- 2:02Speaker 2: kooks to do stuff like this, to be left wing kookie.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Arrest Netnyahu, arrest Americans, arrest of president, arrest our troops.
- 2:10Speaker 2: That's it was created for that purpose, which is why
- 2:13Speaker 2: most countries don't recognize it as anything. Real. Let's go
- 2:17Speaker 2: to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich how you doing.
- 2:21Speaker 3: And thanks Mark? Like you, I didn't watch Good morning, Vincent,
- 2:24Speaker 3: good morning, saying.
- 2:25Speaker 2: No, no, no more saying good morning to other callers people.
- 2:28Speaker 2: It annoys the audience. We get some We got more
- 2:31Speaker 2: complaints about that than anything else.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Like Pila was Zudo on his birthdays when he was
- 2:37Speaker 3: a Yankee announcer. Yes, you know the like you the
- 2:41Speaker 3: World Cup. I didn't watch any of it at all
- 2:44Speaker 3: until yesterday. I knew Trump was going to hand out
- 2:47Speaker 3: the trophy and like that call said last week, that
- 2:49Speaker 3: is the ugliest, smallest trophy for the biggest thing in sports.
- 2:53Speaker 3: This should be big, like the Stanley Cup or something.
- 2:55Speaker 3: So I'm watching this for an hour, just waiting for
- 2:57Speaker 3: Trump to come out to hand out the trophy. Nobody scores,
- 3:01Speaker 3: they had extra time, nobody scores. Then the game's over,
- 3:04Speaker 3: and then they got extra time they didn't know about
- 3:07Speaker 3: from injuries or something like that. And finally the guy's scored,
- 3:09Speaker 3: and it's like the worst hour of my life. I'm
- 3:12Speaker 3: never going to get back as brutal.
- 3:13Speaker 2: That's true, all right, thanks for calling. Yeah, it is
- 3:16Speaker 2: a tiny trophy. They should let Trump design the trophy.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Then it'd be like fourteen feet high, it'd be twelve
- 3:22Speaker 2: feet wide. You'd see some real gold all over it.
- 3:25Speaker 3: What is this?
- 3:25Speaker 2: It's just as wireless caller. Let's go to line four,
- 3:28Speaker 2: Line four. How you doing?
- 3:30Speaker 3: All right?
- 3:31Speaker 5: Mark? And eighty five percent of.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the Buchanan guys were immigrants.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Eighty five percent.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Why are they blame college kids for? Yeah, you know,
- 3:41Speaker 2: are you going to do your Buchanan things?
- 3:43Speaker 3: Kids?
- 3:43Speaker 5: Eighty five percent of the people voted for Mommy com
- 3:45Speaker 5: are immigrants. They're not college kids that voted.
- 3:48Speaker 2: We heard that like the fourth time you said that,
- 3:50Speaker 2: Are you going to do the Buchanan thing? No? No, no,
- 3:53Speaker 2: but I'll tell you something. Mark, with the soccer you
- 3:56Speaker 2: on the money man, all right, well I don't know
- 3:59Speaker 2: what you're on, but I hope you have brought enough
- 4:01Speaker 2: for everybody. Anyway, thanks for call. What happened all the calls?
- 4:05Speaker 2: The lines were full, they all just went dead. Well,
- 4:07Speaker 2: they got eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Is the number eight hundred three to two one zero
- 4:14Speaker 2: seven ten. So yeah, the World Cup is over. They're
- 4:18Speaker 2: all going home now. You might still see those jerseys
- 4:22Speaker 2: all over the place, but they should be leaving and
- 4:26Speaker 2: get the hell out of here. Let's go to We'll
- 4:31Speaker 2: just go to this. Let's go to line too. Are
- 4:32Speaker 2: you there? Are you there? Nope? Lost? Something's going on
- 4:37Speaker 2: with the phones where people are calling and then all
- 4:39Speaker 2: of a sudden, the call just vanishes, just goes away. Hey,
- 4:43Speaker 2: there was history was made a major moment in history
- 4:49Speaker 2: on Friday. I think it's up on my Twitter if
- 4:51Speaker 2: you want to go look at it. Chuck Schumer is
- 4:54Speaker 2: leaving Congress and there's reporters out there and they remember
- 4:57Speaker 2: he farted. I mean, it was a big Senate last week.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Woud fart from Chuck Schumer right on the floor of
- 5:03Speaker 2: the Senate Even he laughed about it. So the reporter
- 5:07Speaker 2: starts to ask him about it. And nobody has ever
- 5:10Speaker 2: seen this ever before in history. Schumer actually runs away
- 5:14Speaker 2: from a TV camera. It's a reporter and a camera.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Schumer turns and runs. Here's the guy who always runs
- 5:23Speaker 2: towards the camera, actually fleeing in panic. It was great
- 5:26Speaker 2: to see. Let's go to Bob in Montville, New Jersey. Bob,
- 5:30Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Hanging in there?
- 5:33Speaker 1: Mark?
- 5:33Speaker 6: Thanks to taking a call. But I think we've better
- 5:36Speaker 6: hold off on all the money and the hooplah from
- 5:38Speaker 6: the FIFA stuff, because Mickey Cheryl, they're crunching the numbers
- 5:42Speaker 6: in New Jersey here, you know NJT. I think lost
- 5:46Speaker 6: a bundle and you know all the old the time too,
- 5:50Speaker 6: So yeah, that could be. It's going to be a
- 5:52Speaker 6: net loss for us all here, but good for some
- 5:54Speaker 6: of the merchants.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah, no, a lot of money come in. You know
- 5:57Speaker 2: what the craziest thing is, it's a big, huge field,
- 6:00Speaker 2: the soccer field. So they've decided they will cut up
- 6:03Speaker 2: the grass from the field, the soil, and they will
- 6:07Speaker 2: cut it into small, tiny cubes and sell it pieces
- 6:11Speaker 2: of the actual field. Apparently the field is so big
- 6:14Speaker 2: if you cut it up into tiny cubes, you get
- 6:16Speaker 2: thousands and thousands or maybe tens of thousands of them,
- 6:20Speaker 2: and they're expected to rake in millions. They think they
- 6:23Speaker 2: could even make I don't know, some crazy number like
- 6:25Speaker 2: twenty million off the field selling the soil. So the
- 6:29Speaker 2: governor New Jersey, Mikey Cheryl, is demanding a cut of that.
- 6:33Speaker 2: She has a point, and I think you should ask
- 6:36Speaker 2: the New York Giants, isn't it their stadium If you're
- 6:39Speaker 2: gonna cut up the field and take it away. Let's
- 6:42Speaker 2: go to Paul in White Plains. Paul, how you doing, Mark?
- 6:47Speaker 3: I'm doing well, thank you. I'd like you to explain something.
- 6:49Speaker 3: How come every day I turn on the news and
- 6:53Speaker 3: they say they have literated Land's missile capability?
- 6:58Speaker 2: Well, don't think bay Siver said they obliterated. They said
- 7:02Speaker 2: they It was the word they used, diminished it. Obviously,
- 7:05Speaker 2: can't get it all at once, but over a number
- 7:07Speaker 2: of days you can get it. So it'll take a while.
- 7:10Speaker 2: They do replenish those supplies, and they have some buried
- 7:13Speaker 2: underground that they bring up. But every we've been hitting
- 7:16Speaker 2: them harder than ever the last few nights, so we
- 7:18Speaker 2: have taken away a lot of it. But you can't
- 7:20Speaker 2: do it all in one night. That's impossible. But thanks
- 7:23Speaker 2: for calling. Let's go to Ed in Pennsylvania.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Ed.
- 7:26Speaker 2: How you doing pretty good?
- 7:28Speaker 5: Mark? Thanks for craiking my call. I too watched the game,
- 7:31Speaker 5: and one thing that impressed me very much was when
- 7:35Speaker 5: when Argentina and Spain did their national anthems. How the
- 7:38Speaker 5: athletes sang it like full throated, knew the words actually,
- 7:42Speaker 5: and it looked fairly clean cut Nike say the Major
- 7:44Speaker 5: League Baseball or NFL type thing when they pay the players.
- 7:48Speaker 5: I was pretty impressed with that, the fact that they
- 7:50Speaker 5: actually knew their national anthem sang it.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Oh, that was one positive thing.
- 7:54Speaker 2: That's a good point. We could use all we could
- 7:56Speaker 2: use more of that here, good point. Thanks for calling. Hey,
- 7:58Speaker 2: when we come back, the best columnist in the world.
- 8:01Speaker 2: We'll talk to Michael Goodwin next on seven ten wor
