• The Drama Drop: All right, guys, as usual, there's lots to discuss, but I wanna talk about my weekend for a second. Okay, this is obviously not like a movie rating podcast by any means, but I have to talk about the movie, Obsession, that I saw this past weekend. Okay, I've been seeing it as a trailer in the theater for a good while because, yes, I go to the theater, okay? Me and my husband, we love it. We have the Cinemark membership. Like we go, we take full advantage. I don't know, there's just something so cozy about it with the popcorn and the Coke and it's just, ⁓ I love it. We mainly go to see scary movies, okay? So like, I'll just start there. Huge scary movie goers, okay? Anyway, so obviously with that, you know, they're gonna show trailers that are in the same realm. So I've been seeing the Obsession trailer for some time. So I have been itching for this movie to come out. I don't know, there was just something, the trailer was like so vague but sinister, I don't know. Super excited. Anyways, so we saw it this past weekend and let me tell you, so good. So if any of you guys are scary movie fans or like psychological thriller, because it wasn't really paranormal by any means, I mean a little bit, but like not really. So freaking good. just dare I say I'm obsessed with it. I don't know. There was just something so different about it. ⁓ Me and my husband, we've been talking about it like five days later at this point, I feel like It's we want to go see it again. We've never gone to the theater again to see a movie. But yeah, there was just something about it. You could tell the whole theater was going through it together. I literally dropped my popcorn from a jump. Not like a mistake of like, ⁓ no, I accidentally knocked it over. No, literally jumped popcorn everywhere. ⁓ Yeah, it was just it was so incredible. It was originally released in like a twenty twenty five Toronto International Film Festival. And then everybody was like, ⁓ my gosh, like this needs to be way out more into everybody, the masses. So that's just something that I have to share with you all. Like I would be doing it at a service if I didn't tell you guys about that movie and that you need to see it immediately because, yeah, it's really good. In other news of what I did this past weekend, because I seem like I did a lot of watching things. I started Perfect Match. I don't know, I think maybe it's like four or five. episodes, maybe six, I can't remember, because I start to just like disassociate and just let the episodes keep rolling as they are. how Netflix does that whole thing of only releasing so many episodes and then you have to wait to get like the remaining. But however many that are out currently, I watched them all. I watched them all. yeah, mean, it's just about as you'd expect, drama and everybody's like, obsessed with each other, but what's just really hilarious to me is something that I didn't expect. So Ally Lewber you don't know who she is. She was on Vanderpump. She's James Kennedy's ex-girlfriend. And from the clips, or at least from what I saw of her in the show, she was very grounded, like this bubbly, sweet girl, which she still is, but is ⁓ I like, wait a second, I did not prepare. to get this side of Ally. And I mean, we all know James Kennedy is kind of like a loose cannon. Like we never know, like he could be, you know, dimming her light or whatever. So maybe that's why we didn't really get to see the full Ally. I'm not entirely sure, but this version of Ally that I got was absolutely insane in like the best way. I mean, I was like, wait, she's kind of nuts. I loved it. I mean, there's still more to see of her obviously like the season's not done, but like the- quirkiness of her. just, don't know. I didn't expect it by any means. And then another person I didn't expect, Marissa George. She is on one of the seasons of Love is Blind, whichever, I don't know the number, but it was the DC season and she's also nuts. But I wouldn't necessarily say in the best way possible, but for the show, the best way possible. mean, if you guys aren't familiar with the format of the show, I think it's very Love is Blind-esque, if you will. So, you you just have like these singles in the house and the goal basically is to match with somebody. And then, you know, there's different challenges. If you don't get a match, you're eliminated. You could be brought back. They add people into the show as the show goes on to kind of like tempt the current couples to maybe like sway from who they're currently partnered with. All at the end of the day, like the goal is for ⁓ the rest of the cast to kind of vote who they think is the strongest couple to then, you know, go on a trip, whatever. Okay, so, but this Marissa chick, she like has her eyes locked on this guy who is from Too Hot to Handle. I don't know why his name is literally blanking for me at the moment, but that's besides the point. she like within the first 10 minutes of everybody interacting, introducing themselves, she has her eyes set on this man. And basically, I mean, obviously joking, but she's like, you better pick me or I'll kill you, which is just like, whoa. But she has her fangs so deep into this man. Like she doesn't want him talking to anybody else. Like she wants him to have no interaction with anybody else. And it's just crazy to me. Like I get it, know, you are maybe wanting to win even though you're not necessarily admitting that, but to behave that way so quickly with somebody you just met, I just, don't understand. don't, I can't fathom it. I'm like, if anything, you're going to make him go the opposite direction or, you know, he's gonna find anything wrong with the situation, like to have an excuse to leave. ⁓ Yeah, so I don't know that behavior. I just was very shocked by it. I also, you know, I watched love is blind. I watch all of the seasons. And so I watched her season and she just like, wasn't like that at all. So that was news to me. And then just to like wrap this little part up with a nice little bow. going off of, yeah, you win a prize at the end. So Jimmy Preston is in there and he is also from Love is Blind. He's the whole Megan Fox, you know, I'm sure you've heard of it. ⁓ And he, I just was cracking up because there's one part where Nick Lachey comes in and is basically like, okay, everybody has to vote for one guy, one girl who they think, you know, should be eliminated. But before all that, before he even gets that little hint of Knowledge that somebody's about to be eliminated Everybody's kind of going around talking about things and he flat-out said like I want to win, know Like I want to win at the end. Everybody's like, okay, so you're not here for the right reasons, which I'm cracking up because Truly like none of them are there for the right reasons like let's be so for real for a second because I'm sorry like I got it Okay, so last season ad and I can't even remember her man that she won with actually ended up getting married and now they have a child together, which amazing congrats like that's so great, but they have to be an anomaly because none of these people like there's just no way that they are genuinely thinking like, ⁓ I'm gonna find my person on this type of show and this the way the formula runs like it's just it's so just begging for mess like that's really what it is. And that's fine. But I respect him for being so just open and I, you know, he's like, yeah, I'm sure if I find somebody, that's great, but I want to win at the end of the day. And I don't know. I just thought that that was so funny. And what's even funnier is that he is still in the game. Like they didn't think, ⁓ let's get rid of him because he just flat out said like, he's only there to win. So he's going to do whatever it takes, whatever. I don't know, but I'm curious. Are you guys watching perfect match? I need to know your thoughts. Please let me know. ⁓ I, I love it. I'm so ready for the rest of the season to come out. think shows like that, they're just, such good trash TV, you I can't help it. I love it. I'm just sucked in. ⁓ Yeah, so that's my little weekend recap. Otherwise I didn't really do too much, but ⁓ aside from having my jaw drop to the floor when I saw Alex Cooper's pregnancy announcement, that was something that I definitely wasn't suspecting by any means. And I also don't want to claim that I manifested this by any means because I did think this thought I never said it out loud, but the other day on my walk, like a week ago, I was just thinking, huh, I wonder when Alex Cooper is going to get pregnant. I don't know why I thought that. I'm really not sure, because I know I was listening to a podcast. I know I wasn't listening to Call Her Daddy, but maybe they were talking about pregnancy and then, maybe they were talking about the Licks versus Lex drama. I'm not entirely sure who or what I was listening to, but somewhere along the lines, it led to me thinking, I wonder when Alex is gonna get pregnant. and then this happens. ⁓ Yeah, so anyways, I woke up Sunday and my husband's like, hey, look at this, look at what she missed while you were sleeping. Alex Cooper dropped that she's pregnant. And yeah, that was a shock to the system. mean, especially with everything going on, the drama ⁓ of everything, like. I don't know. Let's just say, I'm happy for her. I am excited for her. Thank goodness, you know, I mean, nothing terrible happened to her during her pregnancy, like with all the stress of just all the media, the drama, all that stuff, because I know those are critical moments in the very beginning stages. So thank goodness for that. And yeah, I just, I don't know. I just was really shocked. It's kind of funny because... I was seeing some comments on just like some news platforms and even like Reddit pages. People were talking about how, ⁓ wow, like how ironic, what a coincidence. Now she's pregnant. Like there were marriage issue rumors and all this stuff. I'm like, I'm sorry, does nobody understand? Like she didn't just get pregnant. Like these articles came out recently. Like she didn't just say like, ⁓ like time to get pregnant to switch the narrative or like make people not want to talk bad about me because. Who's gonna talk bad about pregnant lady? No, that's really kind of not how that works. She was already pregnant way before all of this, but it's just, yeah, I'm like people, I don't know. I don't understand that logic, but I thought that was kind of humorous because if we remember, it was around like the beginning of May, there were reports of Matt Kaplan and her not like having marital issues, tensions rising, sleeping in separate bedrooms maybe. And I was already thinking, I was, trying to figure out how, like what source was reporting that or leaking that? I mean, Alex, at least from what we can all tell, like she's a very private person for the most part. I mean, from her shift of content that she does, she doesn't really tell too much, at least like about herself. So I'm just, I don't think that that would be something she would just be spewing out. So I was like, hmm, what, who is close enough to her to know that if that's true. to then release that as something. But then now I'm thinking about it, I'm like, ⁓ okay, like if she was pregnant or is pregnant, that could very well be the case, but not because of what people are thinking, not because there's tension, not because there's issues that people are just trying to create and create this whole narrative could just be because she's trying, she's like, she doesn't feel well, she needs more room, you I don't know, like, I know everybody's different when they're pregnant and all the different stages and trimesters, like your body reacts differently, like it could simply be something like that. ⁓ or it literally couldn't even be a thing at all, or it could have already been a thing. know people that sleep separately solely for the fact of like, can't stand him snoring or I can't stand that. And it works out beautifully. Like it doesn't even indicate that there is an issue. I for one personally could never do it. ⁓ Now I slept by myself for so long, now sleeping with my husband. If he's not there, I just, I don't sleep. So we can't imagine that, but. It's not about me. ⁓ So I, yeah, I just, I don't know. I'm like, that could be in relation to it. There were also speculations that people were pointing out that she wasn't wearing her wedding ring and a couple of call her daddy episodes. Well, it could all make sense now because she could have swelling, you know, so many different things going on with her body could just feel uncomfortable. That could literally be the reason why. And it's things like this that are just so funny because it's like, You know, it just really shows that the internet just really takes things and runs with things. Like we have no idea. And, or it could have literally have been something as simple as she just forgot her wedding ring. I mean, just thinking of it, like I take mine off whenever I'm doing some of my face stuff, my face regimen, and then I go to work and then I forget to like really put it, to put it on. I left it in my little dish. It could literally have been something as simple as that, but. Yeah, I was just like, wow, all this speculation of everything and turns out she's pregnant. I like it also kind of makes sense. You know, they fled to Hawaii. I'm sure it was like, OK, we need to get away from all this craziness ⁓ and just kind of take it easy. And yeah, we just need to keep you like as stress free as possible. So all these little things, like I said, people speculating it all just kind of clicks and, you know, puts the puzzle pieces together and it all just makes so much more sense. And yeah, now I'm curious though, well, we already know, we already know Alex Earl is not gonna come out on her own and say whatever her piece or anything like that. ⁓ But, you I almost wonder, you know, let's just say in theory, you know, we're just speaking in theories right now. If this is gonna be a storyline for her reality show, I almost wonder if it... Like let's just say she was gonna go super hard for whatever reason, if that was her truth, if that's how she was gonna tell the story, if things are gonna be tweaked a little bit now. I don't know, I just feel like, I feel like once you say you're pregnant, like you kind of get a pass on certain things, like you kind of get, like, I don't know, you see it all the time. Like think of like the Valley when Janet was pregnant. Like there were just so many like passes, if you will, or kind of like, ⁓ I'm not gonna address something with her. or go as hard as I would if she wasn't pregnant. I feel like everything is a whole lot more sensitive. I don't know. I know that's just so far down the line, ⁓ but I just was thinking, was like, hmm, I wonder what that would mean if that is gonna be something that would be talked about on her show. And I also, I was listening to The Toast and they made a really good point. They were like, ⁓ that could almost also mean to, like, her hormones are going all over the place, feeling emotional or whatever. that could explain to you why she even made that TikTok in the first place. I was like, ⁓ that makes so much sense. Because, you know, I personally have never been pregnant before, but, know, I hear hormones, you're emotional, like you feel things that much quicker, faster, whatever. And with Alex not being one to really address things in the public or any controversy, controversy, whatever, for her, for this to be something she's so was just like fed up done. ⁓ You know, she could have had just been a little bit more heightened than what it normally would have been. I'm like, wow, yeah, that all makes sense too. So yeah, I'm really excited for her. I think that's a good thing. Obviously, you want everything to go well, pregnancy for the baby, for her, everybody to be healthy. And yeah, I'll be curious to hear more on her journey if she chooses to share that. But I just do think... All of that, it's, it is just, it's kind of funny. ⁓ All the speculations of things more like of a negative view, which it now kind of makes a whole lot more sense ⁓ with her being pregnant. But now going off on a different storyline with things being put together that actually, you know, the internet going, taking by storm on, ⁓ okay, is that accurate? Is it not? where it did make sense, it did fall into place. So, Kwame and Chelsea split. If you don't know who they are, they were on Love is Blind from season four. So they are officially split. So it was interesting because there were rumblings on if they were still together or not. know, people like, like I've mentioned before, this internet sleuths are so insane. you, people are so good with that type of stuff. Like, I feel like I only recognize things on like with people that I personally know notice shifts in like their content or like what they post or things like that. But with celebrities, I don't know. It's hard for me to really pay attention and like notice that thing unless somebody makes a statement. But anyway, so yeah, they were suspecting that they were on the rocks or whatever. ⁓ Chelsea with some of her Instagram posts, she didn't have her wedding ring in it. Of course, everybody was buzzing. were like, ⁓ they must be splitting up. Their marriage must be on the rocks. And that actually led to be true. But what's funny about it is they were they made like posts debunking the such. Well, I guess maybe not necessarily debunking it, but it's like as soon as all these rumors were going on, they both were making posts of like each other on Instagram, kind of alluding to the fact like, no, like we're still together. But obviously that isn't the case. So, yeah, she didn't have her wedding ring and some pictures, she removed his last name from her social media, which here's the thing, if you're gonna do those things, if you're gonna do those things and then people are speculating, they're making it known, like it is coming out into the public, now rumors are circulating, whatever, at that point, you might as well just go ahead and say what it is, because you were literally hinting at the fact, like if you didn't want people to speculate and, start any potential rumors, why would you do those actions? You know what I mean? Like that just doesn't make any sort of sense. Like if you're gonna do it, do it, or at least be like, okay, you know, now it's ⁓ like out in the open, we'll go ahead and address it now at this point. It wasn't when we wanted to address it, but now people are talking about it, let's go ahead and you know, make that statement or whatever, but they didn't, they just were like, no, we're pretty much still together. Like, what are you talking about? So I thought that was kind of... just bizarre whenever the news finally broke because all of those rumors were at the end of April, okay? And the statement was put out on May 15th. So I'm sorry, it's not gonna be like just within those two weeks, all of a sudden everything came crashing down and now you're deciding to split? Like, no, like this was already in the works in the making maybe during that time, like. when they were still alluding to the fact that they were still together, like maybe they hadn't officially decided. I don't really know on that part, but I mean, again, why even remove his last name? Why post pictures without a ring? ⁓ You know, it's like you're doing like these little Easter eggs. Like it's one of those things of people being like on Facebook, I don't know, you know, and they're like, ⁓ I'm going through a really rough time, but don't ask. That's what it's giving to be completely honest. anyways, so yeah, May 15th, they drop ⁓ that they are splitting officially. And it was like a collab post. So, know, where one person makes the post, they invite someone else as the collaborator. So it shows up on both people's feeds of like whoever follows them if they're not following both people. But the post was written by Chelsea. So she's the one that made the statement, you know, basically just like it, we, would have had our four year wedding anniversary, but we are splitting up, doing the whole classic PR type of public split where it's like, okay, I wish them nothing but the best, love them so much, I'm so thankful for the time we had together, just all those cliche things that need to be stated. And yeah, so I'll be honest, I'm not entirely shocked. mean, my thoughts like, When I watched it, their season, I'm honestly shocked that they've even made it this far. Like I'll be completely honest and that could be mean, I don't know, but I don't think so because anybody watching it, and again, it could be the power of editing, but I doubt it. I don't know. She just seemed way more into him than he was into her. Closer and closer I got to the wedding. He just seemed like he was very annoyed with her, very like put out with everything that she was doing. ⁓ I don't know, he just seemed like he would almost want to be literally anywhere else than where she was. So for them to maybe the getting married part wasn't necessarily shocking, but them had staying together as long as they have was shocking to me. So this statement doesn't really surprise me to be completely honest. I wish I knew the details behind everything. Maybe she'll be on a podcast and we'll be able to. explain what happened. I don't really know. I'm hoping it wasn't anything crazy, but yeah, he just didn't really seem like he was into her on the show nearly as much as she was into him, at least to the level of, okay, yeah, I want to marry this person and be with them, but, and you know, it could be editing, making it not look as great as just for some drama. But yeah, I mean, It's crazy, I don't know. So hopefully maybe we'll get some more details on that, but really that's all I know is just that those rumors were true. All the speculation, that was correct. So it's just funny. You have one story where there's all these speculations and it ended up being something totally opposite. And then you have another story where all the speculations, it ended up being true. But can we just make ⁓ an agreement? Any reality influencer, celebrity, whatever, if there is speculation, just go ahead and... make the statement come out, say whatever it is versus just like a couple of weeks, a month later, confirming what everybody basically already knew or making an actual statement, debunking any of the rumors versus just like subtle, like, no, we're together, like pictures. Cause I wouldn't even be shocked if like those pictures that they posted to try to convince everybody, we're just from the camera roll, you know? Cause why not? Why not? Everything's fake, right? ⁓ But you know, relationships, okay? So we're gonna keep going into that direction because now I wanna follow up on the Valley, okay? Talked about it last week, talking about it again this week, ⁓ Danny and his behavior, Danny's darkness, Darko, Danny, Danny, Darko, I don't know. ⁓ Whatever he's got going on, I need it to stop. I need to not see. that, because it's just really unsettling and uncomfortable to watch. ⁓ So we go into this next episode and it's now the, I can't remember if I really explained it on the last one, but where we left off is they're doing kind of like a makeover. Like the women are makeover for like the guys, but dressing them up as a woman or a woman, sorry. And wigs, makeup, dresses, all those types of things. And so we kind of go into this and, you know, Nia is getting Danny all spruced up for this whole competition. And he just is so irritated with her with every single thing that she is doing. Like it's just arguing with her being combative, aggressive in his tone, obviously not actions, but just like his tone. Like he's just coming off so poorly and he's like not doing this quietly. Like he is making it known to the house, like the whole house. is fully aware of his behavior, okay? You can't ignore it. And this is where, you know, Lala, her ears are perked up, okay? Like she, it's like a little dog, you you see her popping around behind the corner, like this behavior is just not okay. Like this is so weird. The way he is talking to her, kind of just like, what are you doing? Like, ⁓ my gosh, come on dude. Or like, I don't know, like why are you asking me? what, like this is your thing. And she like, bless her heart. She's trying so hard to keep the peace. She's being really soft spoken. She's like, Daniel, Daniel, come on. Like it's okay. Like we're a team, you know? And it like breaks my heart for her that she's just, I don't know, being talked to this way for what feels like no reason. ⁓ But, and she's not really sticking up for herself at all. So that's where Lala comes into play. She wastes no time coming around that corner, busting through the door, basically being like, dude, knock it off. Like the way you're talking to her is not okay. I don't appreciate it. Like your behavior is really honestly triggering for me. And he's like, ⁓ trigger Mrs. Trig, like just like antagonizing her, mocking her for Lala being triggered. And you know, I will say we do kind of, I feel like people throw that word around a lot, okay? The word triggered. But we know what Lala's been through. Like she's had a very public breakup that was absolutely terrible. We don't even know all the details of that to be completely honest. yeah, mean, she very, and you can very clearly like see she is so emotional. Like she, her eyes are getting all watery. Her voice is getting shaky. Like she's not saying it to just say it. Like it's clearly like there is something there that is setting her off. But see, here's the thing again, you have marriages. Yeah, you have TIFs. That's normal. But the behavior of what he was doing just wasn't normal. And then on top of that, you have Mia that's like so soft spoken, so sweet, so nice, so people pleasery. That's not a word, but you know, we'll go with it. And you have somebody that like Lala, who's like absolutely not, she's gonna go toes with you as she says. And you're not taking it for herself, you're her friend. She's gonna say something, especially when it's a woman too, like she's very much like. for the woman, but I mean, yeah. So she steps in, basically just kind of saying like how you're talking to her is not okay. You need to stop. Like she's been asking you to stop like that's your wife. ⁓ Figure it out. And Danny basically is just like, okay. Like it doesn't even snap to him like, ⁓ yeah, I'm being a jerk right now. I don't know if I said this, but yeah, I mean, he's still very clearly so drunk, so drunk. They went out to dinner before and he just gets like so wasted. So. It's not like he's sober, which doesn't even matter because we saw how he behaved sober at the amusement park ⁓ when they were at. So sober, drunk, he's just acting insane, insane. And Lala, she's not gonna stand by it. She's not gonna stand for it, which I can appreciate, absolutely, because no one else was stepping in and saying anything. I will say it really annoyed me, honestly, when Nia, she was like interconfessional and she said, Okay, like on one hand, like Lala get out. Like this is none of your business. Like you don't have to like step in and say anything. But then at the other hand, she was like, but I also appreciate like someone else sees this. Like I'm not crazy, which no, nobody does think you're crazy because last season we had so many people being like Danny's dark when he drinks, which we never got to see that side of it. We just got to hear what people were talking about. We never got to visually see anything, which is also something that Lala says. She's like, I've heard the stories. but I've never got to see it with my own two eyes. Own two eyes. So yeah, she wants to step in and I just don't understand. So it's like Nia, you know, she says that. And again, like I said, people in marriages, relationships, whatever, tiffs happen. But there's just like a difference. know, like there is a certain line I feel like, or a certain level that it could get to, especially when you're somebody like Nia, where somebody may need to come in and step in and say something. Cause also too, like let's think of it this way. Had Lala not said anything or anybody said anything, everybody would be like, why is nobody saying anything? Why is nobody sticking up for Nia? you know, like people always wanna say, why did nobody do anything? Why did nobody whatever? But then as soon as somebody does something to kind of intervene or stick up for something, it's like, well, that's none of your business. You shouldn't have done that. Like, I'm sorry, if you're gonna... behave like that in front of a whole group of people where you can't even ignore it. You can't even pretend to ignore it. And somebody says something like, yeah, absolutely. Like I think Lola said, she's like, I can hear you. like, yes, I'm going to say something. And I think absolutely like that's warranted for sure. I thought it was interesting. Like all I was on Watch What Happens Live and you know, she got a question from the audience. It was just like on the valley, which couple was split first. And Lola says, my hope is Nia leaves Danny. She is so beautiful and kind and sweet. I just want her with somebody who treats her like a baby bird. I don't dig him like at all. And Andy was like, yeah, you've made that clear. ⁓ So yeah, she's still till this day, because obviously we know these these things are recorded months ago. And yeah, it's still to this day. She's not for Danny. So. We'll see. I mean, the episode was still ending on her, Lala and Danny kind of going at it, so. I'll report back next week on hopefully we'll get some resolution or whatever because I feel like this fight has been going on for a really, really long time. But yeah, I don't know. It's not looking good for Dani, like the internet and just the cast. And let me tell you too, like Lala, she will call you out on your BS like so quick. So soon as you, feel like, you know, she can start to see you for who you are. or you know, like the blinders aren't there, it's not a good luck because she's gonna be the one to challenge you. So, RIP to Danny. Anyways, so, all right. I saved this for last just because there's always just so much, so much. I hope everybody still has the energy for Secret Lives of Mormon Wives because it never ends. It never ends the drama constantly, but I just wanted to save this for last because I just, I needed to digest. I needed to go on with other things first. So the back and forth of the drama, the feuding continues. Now we have even more players into all of this. So I'm not gonna get like too much into the nitty gritty of like reading the specific messages in the comments and all those types of things, but I'm just gonna really kind of overview and key things to note ⁓ on the whole situation. So obviously since the last episode dropped to the podcast, more things happened and now we have Macy entering the chat, okay? She pretty much just kind of makes a statement, a comment, just basically saying like, We've advocated for Taylor for so long. We've never stabbed her in the back, her talking about her and Michaela. And she just pretty much says the same thing as like Michaela, like Taylor's her own worst enemy. Like she doesn't do anything to help herself. It just comes to a point where you're just tired and you're exhausted as a friend to continually watch your friend self-destruct and not do. do anything to help themselves, ⁓ know, kind of just like I'm setting a boundary as well. Like basically co-signing on what Michaela said, you know? So because she makes this comment and which apparently she ends up deleting by the way, cause I can't find it. Like I think it's just nowhere to be found, which I just don't understand that because I'm sorry. The internet is crazy. People see things so quickly. People take screenshots, people screen record. What's the point of deleting it? You know what I mean? Like I don't, I think that makes zero sense. Like you said it, you put it out there. Somebody's gonna capture that. Just leave it, you know? It's bizarre. It's like, loser-y to try to go back and find it or like see it and then know that it's gone. Okay. Doesn't make any sense. Especially because Taylor, she already saw it. It doesn't even matter because she wasted no time. Like she went and she unfollowed Macy. As of today, I went to check. She is still following Taylor. So I don't really know, but yeah. Taylor, she made it known. She's like, no, all right, Macy, you're out. Like, don't care. And then just on other posts that were going on, there was another comment from Macy basically kind of saying, validating Michaela's analogy of like the skin cream and the DV situation. Because, know, Macy, she's saying, I was somebody that was in a DV relationship, okay? So the analogy made perfect sense to me. It didn't discredit anybody who's been in a DV relationship, whatever, like the severity. All right, so here's the thing. just, okay, you've been in a DV relationship. She's been pretty open about that. And I just don't think like, okay, it made perfect sense for you, but I don't think you get to just like say that for everybody. Like it making sense to you doesn't mean it made sense to everybody else. just because you were in it, you lived it, and you're like, okay, yeah, that makes sense to me. Doesn't mean that that makes sense to everybody else. You know what I mean? Everybody, as we all know, heals differently, experiences trauma differently, ⁓ just goes through things differently. for somebody's trauma, just because you experienced the same thing, doesn't mean you can be like, ⁓ well, just because, I went through that too. You're being a little bit dramatic. You know how many people like, okay, here's a great personal example. I'm a child of divorce, not once, but twice. And I'm fine. Like I'm okay. You know what I mean? There are some people that need to go to therapy for being a child of divorce. And I'm not gonna be like, ⁓ grow up. know, like I've been through that not once, but twice. know, like everybody experiences things differently. So I just thought it was kind of insane that she said that. ⁓ And again, like I mentioned, it's like, understand what you're saying. It's like, you're not trying to help yourself. Like I get what Michaela was going at, but like, I don't at the same time, because they're just two completely different situations, not black and white. Like your skin cream situation, that is a whole lot more black and white of like, ⁓ okay, like that's clear. But the whole relationship thing, it's like, you don't know, like black male, children are involved, like. the manipulation, like that's so just not the same. So yeah, so anyways, thank goodness though. mean, but Macy said it's fine. The analogy is fine. So it should be okay, right? ⁓ But yeah, so moving on though, because it just doesn't end there. The unfollow party continues because then Michaela ends up following on, sorry, she unfollows Jessie. And so Jessie was like really shocked by this. She was like, ⁓ wow, I didn't know that. Michaela felt the need to unfollow me. Like I thought we were cool. Like I just, I don't really understand whether this is coming from, but okay. The Michaela, you know, she lets it be known that she's not going to continue to be friends with people who are enabling ⁓ Taylor's behavior essentially. So she's like, okay, Jesse, like you're obviously in support for Taylor. That's cool and all, but like, I don't want anything to do with you. I don't want any friendship with people that are gonna enable this type of behavior. So she took it upon herself to unfollow her. And so she didn't like let her know, she didn't give her like a heads up, but you know, she, when Michaela made the statement of just like, I don't wanna be ⁓ involved with people that are enabling that, that was pretty much like letting Jessie know. But obviously it wasn't necessarily directly to Jessie, it was just like a statement that she made to the public. So ⁓ she's just choosing to remove herself together. Basically anything that. has to do with Taylor, anybody that has to do with Taylor. Yeah, but it's kind of funny because, you know, Taylor calls BS on this because she's like, all right, well, it's obviously not about boundaries or anything like that. It's about opportunities or lack thereof and like the jealousy of it all because she mentions how at the time, Michaela and Macy were both still following Dakota and Jordan ⁓ and basically saying like, okay, they're on their high horse, but they're still following and supporting these men. So like that doesn't make any sort of sense at all, right? I will say as of today, which is 518, okay, a Monday, I did check both Michaela and Macy's followers following and Macy does not follow Dakota anymore. She doesn't follow Jordan anymore. And then, but Michaela still does. So I will say, yeah, that is kind of weird. It's like you would think, Given the whole situation, like if you were so against Taylor, like why are you not so not against Dakota? I mean the whole Jordan thing, whatever, because I feel like, you know, if Michaela is going to unfollow Jesse, that really has nothing to do with Dakota like that situation. Like I guess I can kind of see like why she's still following Jordan. Like he's just not really involved in that specific issue. But I definitely see the point. Like why are you following Dakota? doesn't really make any sense to me. Unless I'm missing something, I mean, I don't know. It's like, why not just take everybody out of the equation? ⁓ But you know, it's really sad to see just like this group just continually crumble. I mean, they are not surviving this at all, not to be annoying with the whole, well, mom talks survive this, but genuinely like, there's just, I don't see a world in which it goes past season five. Like I know we're wrap it all up, but, ⁓ I mean, going into kind of like to the defense of Michaela of like removing herself from the situation, like I understand, you know, she's going through her whole health journey and like skin issues, autoimmune disease. And like, I understand that stress can trigger those things. And I could see, you know, this being a stressful situation, whether it's directly involving her or not, just like as a friend, you know, you're taking on a lot with something that heavy and being in the public eye. on social media. So like I can see in that sense, but I feel like there could have been a better way to go about it. Like maybe her and Taylor could have had a conversation of just like, hey, like this is nothing to do with you personally. This is just kind of like the situation as a whole and what's going on in the news and on like social media. Like I'm taking a step back just so can focus on my health. And you know what, honestly, I mean, I understand her living is social media. So I guess she can't just get off social media, but maybe she could, I don't know. You know, I think Taylor is a very like, forgiving and understanding person if you have communication with her, which I will get into that with like her and Jesse, but like, I think all Taylor wants is honesty and like communication, like getting ahead of things. So I truly feel like if Michaela, you know, would have just been like, hey, I'm just taking a step back. Like, it's not me not supporting you, but because there's just so much, it's just affecting my health. and I'm really trying to nail that down and get that under control. We need to take a pause for a second, love you, but you know, and I feel like Taylor would have understood that and appreciated that and been like, yeah, absolutely. Whenever you're ready, just let me know. ⁓ And you know, Jessie makes a statement of like, okay, I'm going to support my friend. Like I'm not gonna knock her even lower than she already is. And she made a statement of just like, You know, I was going through a lot of the time, well, you know, she's going through her divorce and like, that was a low point, a very dark time for her. her and Taylor kind of leaning on each other, supporting each other. Like they're going through so much and it's just like, I'm not saying that I'm condoning what happened with Taylor. Obviously I'm disappointed in the whole situation and like everything that's going on, but like, just because this hard time is happening for her and it may not be a good look, it doesn't mean that. I can't be a friend to her and just kind of like help her through that, you know? But she's like disappointed, of course, that she's like, apparently now that I didn't pick sides, like I'm the enemy, just doesn't really make any sense. And I don't know if anybody else listened to this, but which I'm not really sure what it was, but I saw a pop up on my YouTube, like for you things to watch. It's called Get Real with Hulu, which I know like their Get Real event was whenever they talked about all like the shows that are upcoming. but anyways, there was just like an interview with Amanda Hirsch and Robin Del Monte and Jesse was on there and ⁓ she did say that you really start to see the tension between Michaela and Taylor, Taylor grow the beginning of season five. So when will that will ever come out? I'm not sure. I think I heard somewhere that they're in production. So, which is kind of crazy because they just picked back up filming, but maybe with everybody like. piecing out saying sayonara, there's not much more that they possibly can do and Taylor not filming. Like, I don't think that there's much that they can do. So they probably just had to really wrap it up quickly. So that'd be crazy if it isn't post-production and hopefully we'll get it sooner. all that to say is she says like, know, hopefully like you'll be able to kind of see like it making more sense as to why like they kind of drifted the way that they did and like why this is all kind of spiraling because like I mentioned last week, it just kind of seemed out of nowhere that Michaela made this post. making a statement, know, of course, as we all love to do is speculate and analyze every single action that goes on social media. ⁓ You know, it was already speculating of like, okay, why isn't Michaela making any sort of statement? Why is she not either like supporting or not supporting Taylor? So yeah, so Jesse kind of alluded to the fact that we should be able to see more of that tension building and the lead up to why they're not. friends, why Michaela is not on board with Taylor, but yeah, so of course it's just another thing that we have to wait for. And with timelines, it's just like, ugh, I need them to literally figure it out. But I don't think the pettiness will end there. think more things will come because it just, doesn't stop ever. There's always something going on in that realm. And ⁓ yeah, it's a lot to keep up with. I, just so many like little updates. It'll be like this comment here and then this comment here. So I didn't wanna like bore you with all the actual legit comments, but that is an overview and that is the latest as of 518. Okay, so May 18th, that is the latest. I'm sure there will be more next week. Not even gonna pretend that there won't be. But also too, like here's a thought, like why doesn't everybody just unfollow each other and call it a day? You know what I mean? Like we pin so much on like who's following who and who's unfollowed and all that. Like we pin so much on that. just stop following everybody. Then nobody can even speculate anything. Nobody can even suspect. No one can even try to put puzzle pieces together. Just don't follow anybody. I mean, I'll say it like I've seen influencers and celebrities like they have their Instagram account and then it's like they don't even follow anybody or they like follow maybe one or two. Like here's a great example. Okay, Emma Chamberlain. Okay. Amazing. She has like 14 something million followers. I'm pretty sure I checked. today because she was the one that popped up on my mind because I remember whenever I was trying to figure out drama going on like years ago, I couldn't figure it out because she's smart. Okay. She's smart. She only follows at the time it was maybe two accounts, but so I double checked to make sure that was still the case. She only follows three accounts. Okay. One of them is her podcast account. One of them is her coffee account. And the other one it's her dad's art artwork account. Okay. three accounts and she has 14 something million followers, you never are ever going to be able to be like, well, let me see, who did she unfollow? Is she still following that person? No, cause she never did. She never did. And that's smart, okay? That is a woman of the arts. she, like that's genius. So my recommendation for everybody, at least for secret lives and Mormon wives, maybe just all unfollow each other. Maybe that is the key. Maybe that. we'll just save some heartaches, save some rumors, save some speculation because then you don't have to play this game of like, ⁓ who's following me now? ⁓ they unfollowed me now. Now I gotta go back and unfollow them. ⁓ well, they're still following so-and-so. That's not a good... Yeah, that's a lot. And I'm actually, pretty sure, isn't there a setting to where you can put for people to not see who you're following? Or maybe it's just... a setting for people to not be able to see who's following you. I don't know, but maybe they should look into that. If that isn't a setting, maybe that should be a thing. Maybe it's a setting they should turn on if it's already in a thing. But yeah, it's just exhausting the back and forth of who's following who, who stopped and follow, like, I don't know, I don't know. It's a lot to keep up with, but. Anyways, yeah, like that is all the stories that I have for reality TV influencer drama. Everything like that. I'm going to get into my fun segment of the show, Chic and Week of the Week. All right, my Chic of the Week is going to go to Miss Lala Kent because like I said, she stood up for Nia and I absolutely love that because all these seasons, all these years of people talking about Danny and just like having attitude with him ⁓ about like how he behaves. I haven't seen anybody like stick up for Nia, you know, like on her behalf. And actually, sorry, before I even like continue with this, I totally forgot another part of the episode ⁓ that like it wasn't even just the makeover part where he was just being so rude. They did a little safari thing. ⁓ my gosh, he like, like they brought their baby and he just wanted to do nothing with the baby, like nothing to help with Nia. Like he just was so put out by everything. Sorry, like I totally forgot about that little piece of the episode. So yeah, so it's just like multiple, we're seeing multiple different scenarios, events, ⁓ drunk, sober of him that we're seeing this behavior. And I just like, I am floored. I'd be like, absolutely not. And she just... just does it with a smile on her face. ⁓ I mean, you can see she's getting like irritated, like I said, anyways, Sheik of the Week is Lala sticking it for Nia because somebody had to, you know what I mean? Like poor girl is not doing it for herself. ⁓ Somebody needed to come in and let them know what's up. Okay, so my week of the week is celebrities, reality stars, influencers, whatever in the media, making a post, making a comment, making a video, whatever it is. and then not getting necessarily the feedback that they wish that they got or were expecting to get and then going back and deleting it. So yeah, so like I said with Macy, she made a comment and then now it's nowhere to be found. People are quick. people not recognized that? It's gonna be screenshotted, it's going to be recorded. Same thing with the James Charles situation and his whole rant with Spirit Airlines and the girl. He made that video and then he deleted it, but there's literally no point because that got screen recorded from so many different. ⁓ It's everywhere, it's online. So there's a digital footprint. Just keep it. Just say what you said with your chest. If anything, if you wanna go back maybe and do whatever, like lame apology with the blank screen and say your words, whatever your PR manager is gonna have you say, okay, but just leave what you actually said up. You know what I mean? Like it's there, like we have record of it. Just keep it. Otherwise it's just really weak behavior. And I don't know, say it with your chest. That's all I gotta say.
