I'm humble to be alive this far in life. When I was in

my early twenties, I didn't think I was gonna make it into my thirties.

make it into my forties, and you know, you get it like that.

But when I got saved at the age of thirty years old, there

was a newness in me that sparked up, and I was like, wait

a minute, man, I'm gonna live as long as God says I'm going

to live, not according to what I was thinking, because a lot of

times we take time for granted. At least I know I take the time

for granted. I'll admit that sometimes I take time for granted. I think

there's always gonna be tomorrow, and I pray that there always will be tomorrow

for you, and it always will be tomorrow for me. But the reality

of it all is this that one day, Amen, we won't be on

this side of eternity any longer. One day you won't be on this on

this side of eternity any longer. But God promised us something even better than

tomorrow. He promised us he turned to life through Christ. He meant so

today. I just want to hit on authentic imitationology. This is episode number

If you have today and you're stumbling around in darkness and you're like,

man, why am I here? How did that get here? How did

it get to this place where it's so dark? How did you get there?

Who is your light? Who is the light of the world? We're

gonna be in John chapter number twelve, verses thirty four to thirty six.

day and this is a sobering reality. This sobers me up. Not that

But you know what I mean, a sober reality is that one day our

time will run out. You know that we are here for a limited time.

We are here on earth, on this earth for a limited time.

And guess what else is limited? The light that we see. I'm gonna

explain that later on. Our life will one day be over as we know

it on this side of eternity, and none of us know when our time

will be up. So before, like I said, I thought I was

I was counting my days, and I thought I was gonna last these type

a double meaning. It means, yeah, make the day count. But

seconds like when you go to a client or customer and men, make those

seconds count. If you go back and do something extra for that customer,

make account. Let them know that you did something extra, you went over

and beyond what their expectations were. Make seconds count. The Lord Jesus,

is limited, man what is that all about? Right? Because we know

because God has no limits, we have these promises that lizen. Why do

you guys always trusting and believing and the promises that are found in the scriptures

because they don't understand that the Bible doesn't contain the word of God. The

Bible is the word of God. So therefore when we read it, we

know it's inspired. We know that the word is true. We know that

the promises are all yea and amen. And we know that the author and

faith is write up in those scriptures as well. So every time we read

the scriptures, Amen, we are part of what God is doing in our

lives, through our lives and for our lives. Amen. And the Bible

is the only scripture that we can read that every time we read it,

the author is right there with us. It's not all the book like men,

and listen, I'm always learning. So I no longer say that there's

only sixty six books in the Bible, because there's more books mentioned by God

himself, Amen, that mentioned books that we never read or that I never
11:50
read, I've never seen. So there's more than sixty six books, you

know, literally according to how God calls these other books out in scripture.

But the word that we have is inspired. Amen. And if He wants

us to find those other books that he mentioned in the scriptures himself, he

will allow that to happen. But in the meantime, let's learn what we

do have. Amen. Let's study what we do have, and let's go

about it knowing that the lightest limited is limited. Our time is limited,

but God is limitless. Amen. Our minds are finite, Amen, But

God's mind is infinite. Amen. So we're dealing with a holy, loving,

righteous God, and there's no reason for us to believe otherwise. You

know, let's not sure change the truth as if we could. Like,

I can't tell you something that's not true, and I can, but I

won't. I can't tell you that's something that's not true that will last forever.

Well, you know what lasts forever. The Word of God, the

truth of God, the promises of God, the Word of God, the

living, breathing inspire Word of God will last forever, way after we're off

this planet. Amen, God's word will continue. Thing will wither away and

die out, but the Word of God will never wither away, and the

Word of God will never die out. Amen. So that's good news for

every single person who believes and puts that hope, faith and trust in the

Lord Jesus. So authentic imitationology every Friday we try to do these, trying

to imitate the most successful person who has ever lived on this planet Earth,

God who is limited lists. But in his word, we're going to see

that the light is limited according to the scriptures. Amen. And let's get

into it. In John chapter twelve, verses thirty four to thirty six.

The Bible is clear. So the crowd answered him, we have heard from

the law that the Christ remains forever. You see that. How can you
13:54
say that the son of Man must be lifted up? That was the question

they were asking, who is this son of man? Good question? So

Jesus said to them, listen to this. The light is among you for

a little while, longer, see the limited time for a little while longer,

while walk while you have the light less darkness, overtake you. The

one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. While

you have the light, believe in the light that you may become sons of
14:31
light. When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from
14:39
them, the very pre people that were asking the question. Jesus hid himself

from them, but he answered their question. Amen. Now, whether or

not they get this or not, whether or not they realize what the Lord

Jesus was saying, that's another question. But they heard from the law that

the Christ remains forever. So these people are still, you know, obligated

to the Old Covenant. We were still talking about the Old Testament. Jesus

is talking in their language concerning the Old Covenant, even though he has not

released himself, right, and the New Covenant has not been you know,

promised yet or birthed yet. Jesus said, okay, let's talk about it,

right. Jesus said to them, the light is among you for a

little while longer. The light is limited. You see that right there.

I didn't make this up. The Lord said it. The light will be

with you a little while longer. Walk while you have the light. Now,

this could mean the light of day the sun shining. Walk while you
15:56
have the light could mean while Jesus was among them the light of the world,

walk while you have the light. If not, darkness will overtake you

one day, if you're not walking in the light with the light of God,

you'll literally be walking in darkness, and the darkness will overtake you.

The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

In other words, if you're walking in darkness, and if that's you,

Bible says Jesus says, you don't know where you're going. So if you

don't know where you're going, that means you are lost in the darkness,

does not know where he is going. While you have the light, and

is the good news. Believe in the light. Come out of that darkness,

and believe in the light, that you may become sons of light,
16:51
daughters of light, children of light, part of the Kingdom of Light.

When Jesus has said these things, he departed and hid himself from them.

Man, there's a lot of sauce in there, And man, that's why

some of this today. So what you think about your limited time. Man.

It's a reality check. It lets us know that listen, the light

is limited, our time is limited. But while we still have the light,

we according to what Jesus said, we are the light of the world,

and we're the salt of the earth. Jesus is the ultimate light of

the world. The crowd was confused right when Jesus said that he told them
17:34
that he was about to be lifted up. They didn't know what that meant.

They didn't know if that meant lifted up, like the spirit of God

was going to lift him up, or he's gonna Levitay, he's gonna fly
17:45
away. He was telling them that he was going to be crucified, telling
17:52
people flat out he was going to be crucified. He also told them that

the hour of judgment for the world and the punished of Satan is at hand,

the punishment of Satan, not the punishment of you and me. The

punishment of Satan is at hand. But in his death, he was drawing

all people to himself. Amen, that's what God was saying, That's what

the Lord was saying. But people in the crowd, the Hebrews, the

Jews in the crowd couldn't figure out why the man who claimed to be their

Messiah was talking about his own death. Why because the light is limited,

the time was limited. He was coming to complete his mission a meant and

it was almost that time was basically letting her know, you know, he
18:38
was like, this is ride with me. Why you can, because the
18:42
day is coming that I'm no longer going to be with you. But they
18:45
didn't know the promises the Holy Spirit was going to be with all those who
18:49
believed and put their trust in him. So they read their scriptures. They
18:55
knew about the Messiah, they knew about what was supposed to happen. They
19:00
knew the promise that the Messiah was supposed to reign forever. So they were
19:04
right on it. And they were doing this according to the Old Covenant,

because that's what we're talking about here. That's what Jesus was talking about here,

That's what he was, you know, positioned to do at that time

because he had not released the New Covenant yet follow me. So they may
19:21
have been thinking of Daniel chapter seven when they're talking about the Son of Man.

Right and people, if you read your scriptures, you have no problem.

When Jesus says he's the son of Man, and people I know automatically

say, oh, that means he was just a son of a human man

Daniel seven thirteen or fourteen. I saw the night visions, and behold,

with the clouds of heaven, there came one like a son of man,

and he came to the Ancient of days, and was presented before him and
19:56
to him Verse fourteen Daniel, number seven, chapter seven. And to him

was given dominion and glory and a kingdom that all peoples, nations and languages

should serve him, the son of Man. So when Jesus said the son

of Man is referring to this and his kingdom, one that shall not be

destroyed. So you know, be mindful of what God is saying, what

the Lord says. When you quote Jesus, he's quoting truth, he's quoting
20:27
Deity, he's quoting Kingdom. Amen. So when Jesus say he's the son

of Man, Amen, this is just a this is a bonus. When

he says the son of Man is referencing when the one that has all dominion,

that's writing on the clouds. Amen. According to the prophet Daniel,

we see that he is God Deity. Amen. According to scriptures, all

dominion and all glory, and a kingdom that all peoples, all nations and

languages should serve him. Jesus to Christ the Mashik McGee, his dominion is

an everlasting dominion forever and ever time's infinity right which shall not pass away,

and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed. So this is kind of

a king. He's the king of kings that we're expecting. When they follow

Jesus into Jerusalem and shout at Hosannah, remember that Hosanah Hossannah. They thought

he was coming into Jerusalem to establish his eternal kingdom. They thought he was

physically coming into Jerusalem to establish his eternal kingdom, because that's what they were

seeing through the prophets in the Old Covenant. So we know that Jesus will

establish his eternal kingdom when he returns. Now at the time that they thought
21:45
that he was going to do it, obviously, but when he returns according
21:49
to his new Covenant and his new promise to us as believers, Amen,

and those who still believe. Since the time of Jesus, because there was

people who believed who were Hebrew and Jewish and Greek and Roman they believed in
22:04
the Lord Jesus. We don't know all the people who believed. There's not
22:08
a list of every single person that believes. But there is a list right

in the Book of Life of all those who believed Jesus while he was on
22:18
this planet Earth on his mission and his three and a half year reign,
22:22
all three and a half year ministry. He lived thirty three and a half
22:27
years, according to the scholars. Right, So they thought he was coming
22:32
into Jerusalem to establish his eternal kingdom, and was prophesied as was prophesied long
22:37
before he did it. You have Isaiah, Rite the prophet, and all
22:41
these other prophets that prophesied this. But that wasn't the mission of his first
22:45
coming. Amen. And now I like it when scholars, you know,

they debate a little bit about if this is Jesus' second coming when it comes

back, or is this is his third coming a man, because he was
22:57
already here right in Genesis, right, he was already the light. Let

there be light. And then there was like that was the one that said

the light of the world is Jesus. So we believe a lot of scholars

believe. I believe that this is kind of like the third coming, because

he was already here. Then he came in the flesh, and then he's

returning. So that's three entrances into the world. But you know, I'm

going to default to the scriptures. What the scripture says, his second coming

a man, Surely he has he was born our griefs. Surely he has

borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. A man. Yet we esteemed him

stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our

transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. Upon him was the chastisement that

brought us peace. And with his wounds we were healed. We was oppressed,

and he was afflicted. Yet he opened down his mouth like a lamb

that has led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before it shearers,

is silent. So he opened not his mouth. The prophet Isaiah,

chapter fifty three, Verses four and five and verse seven. First Jesus came

to die for our transgressions. Soon Jesus will come again to reign in glory

forever and ever. So we have this limited light, a man that still

shines within us. And when we read earlier, when Jesus was, you

know, replying to the crowd, he was like, you know, the

light that you have among you, which was him, is limited. One
24:41
day he's going to be crucified. He's letting them know what was going to
24:45
happen. But I obviously was flying over their heads a man. If I
24:48
would have been in our crowd, it would have flew over my head too.

I would not totally had grasped what the Lord was trying to say.

A lot of times when the Lord spoke, you speaking kingdom, and they

were already thinking, all, you're talking about a physical kingdom right here,

right now. So when you come into Jerusalem, you go to establish your

eturnal reign here right now. That's what they were thinking, according to what
25:10
they were reading in the prophets. Is they had the scriptures. Amen,

they have what we call the Tanakh, you know, the Holy scriptures,

the Old Testament, the Old Covenant. The newer Covenant had not been established

yet, so that's why they were thinking the way they was no problem,
25:25
no worries. Jesus responded in that context, Amen, so we should respond

according to the new Covenant, because we're in a new Covenant. But when

we look back at the Old Covenant. Now we can see clearer what Jesus

was talking about. Like I said when he said he was the son of

man Amen Daniel chapter seven and men, we see it in there when they

talk about the prophets. Amen go to Isaiah chapter fifty three. So now

we have we could connect the dots because we have both covenants. But remember

when Jesus was being asked these questions, they were basing it on the Law
25:55
of Moses, the Old Covenant, the Torah, the tank. They were
25:59
basing it on that. God bless brothers and sisters. God bless you as

in John chapter eight, verse twelve, Jesus had called himself the light

of the world. Remember that he says, I am the light of the

world. Right today, will read that Jesus warned them that the light will

only be in the world a little longer. That's the limited time, the

limited light that I'm talking about. When Jesus said that the light will only
26:30
be in the world a little longer, when he was telling the people who
26:33
were questioning him at that time, he was saying, this light you're talking
26:37
about this light you think you know, a man or you don't know is
26:41
only going to be here for a little while longer. He was a brilliant
26:45
light shining in the deep darkness of this sinful world. Now, question,
26:51
is there any sin in this world? Is there darkness in this world?

Right now? Think about it? So that light is limited because when we're

out of here, when the children of God, holy spirit filled believers,
27:06
children of God follow us of the way, the truth and of life,
27:08
when we're out of here, total darkness is going to take over. People

who are left behind are going to be overtaken by darkness. So it's crazy

how people ridicule Christians. They make fun of us, They mock Jesus this,

that third, because they don't realize that the light that's shining within and

through us is the only light that they could really see through and they could
27:33
see the revelation of God through us, through the children of God. And

yet that light is going to be limited because Jesus, according to scriptures,

is going to get us out of here. Once he gets us out of

here, then total darkness will enter here. Because darkness is just the absence

of light. Evil is just the absence of good and we're going to be
27:55
out there's a brilliant light shining in the deep darkness of this simple world.

He urged them, just like I urge people today. He urged them to

take advantage of this limited time offer. You ever seen those guys late at

night, A limited time offer only today for you today. This price is

going to increase after today, after today, afterday. They're emphasizing to make

a decision now. Jesus is emphasizing to make a decision now because it's a

limited time offer. When Jesus crists open the sky and makes his return,

they call it the Second Coming, is not going to be able to preach

the Sermon on the Mount, is not going to say Hallelujah, Amen,

who wants salvation? Knowing he's coming to judge whoever is here the world,

and he's coming back with a new heaven and a new Earth. So at

that point, according to how I read the scriptures and my findings, at

that point, there's no chance for redemption at that time for all those who

rejected the Lord. Amen, you made your decision right. If you don't

want Jesus in the temporary time, why would you want Jesus in eternity.

If you don't want Jesus now, why would you want Jesus later? If

you don't want the Kingdom of Heaven now, why would you want to be

in the Kingdom of Heaven later on for all eternity. So this is a

heart issue. This is a decision that we make daily, that you can

make right now to make things right with the Lord Jesus. If you're not

right with the Lord right now, you can make that decision right now.

Limited time offer. He urged them to take advantage of this limited time offer.

They could continue to stumble, or you could continue to stumble in darkness

a man and spiritual darkness until you're completely overtaken by sin and death. But

who wants sin and death to overtake them? Who wants to be in the

darkness? Some The issue is a lot of people don't even know that they're

stumbling and walking around in spiritual darkness. Example, before I knew Jesus,

you could tell me I was doing anything wrong because I was stumbling around walking

in spiritual darkness. Yet I thought I had it all together because I had

everything the flesh wanted. And I thought because everything I wanted was being given
