- 14:04Show tonight. Ha ha.
- 14:06No, I did not hijack. Brett's Channel.
- 14:07He's just let me do it. No, I've always enjoyed what
- 14:11you've had to say. Always loved your videos.
- 14:14I think it's time for Brett Keen to sit back and listen to some
- 14:17good stuff and have a good discussion with you.
- 14:21So what's our first topic? And what is the inspiration?
- 14:25Well, for a long time. Now, I've been very fascinated
- 14:29by the stories in the Bible regarding King Nebuchadnezzar
- 14:34and Daniel and his friends and I've also been interested in the
- 14:37prophecies around. Cyrus the Great God issued
- 14:41before Cyrus was ever born. And yet accurately predicted
- 14:45what he was going to do. As far as his military conquest
- 14:48goes and how he was going to free God's people from captivity
- 14:52and let him go back to the Holy Land to rebuild their Temple.
- 14:55So I've been wanting for a long time to make videos on my
- 14:59channel talking about those things but I never got around to
- 15:02actually doing it especially when I have this hole.
- 15:04Change of occupation recently. So I figured hey, as a
- 15:08livestream topic tonight. Why not?
- 15:10Talk about that particular thing.
- 15:13We're going to be talking about how God sometimes uses
- 15:17non-believers, in order to accomplish his will.
- 15:22And we're going to look first at the people.
- 15:25In particular, I mentioned King Nebuchadnezzar, also known as a
- 15:29Nebuchadnezzar, the second and we'll be looking at Cyrus the
- 15:32Great but then after We look at the bible stuff around, those
- 15:36guys will get into some more contemporary, maybe even
- 15:40personal examples, maybe even some examples that you wouldn't
- 15:44think about for how God uses non-believers, to accomplish his
- 15:49will. So before we go into the more
- 15:52modern part of that Affair, let's get into the issue.
- 15:56The stories of Cyrus, the Great and King Nebuchadnezzar.
- 16:01Now that me go ahead and prepare my green.
- 16:04Oops, that's not it. The screen share.
- 16:08Do do, do, do do do. Yes.
- 16:11We're gonna go ahead. Okay.
- 16:16Well, do entire screen. All right, allow.
- 16:24All right. Can you see my entire screen?
- 16:26All right. Can you see Bible Gateway on the
- 16:29screen? Yeah, it's coming through clear
- 16:33their guy by the way your camera and sound is perfect.
- 16:36There's been no issue good at the Priestly consult my notes.
- 16:42I yes that's why we have this first passage up for when King
- 16:47Nebuchadnezzar was about to go to Jerusalem to Israel and
- 16:52basically lay waste to all of them and all the best of them
- 16:56off to captivity for 70 years. There were a lot of people in He
- 17:01has time. Who are saying?
- 17:03Oh yeah yeah, King Nebuchadnezzar is going to come,
- 17:05but he's not going to overtake you.
- 17:07He's not going to destroy your nation.
- 17:09He's not going to defeat you in battle.
- 17:11You're going to defeat him and there's all this glorious stuff
- 17:14is going to happen. And so, the Prophet Jeremiah
- 17:17since, he was actually speaking from the Lord, unlike these
- 17:20false prophets decided to correct the record.
- 17:23And we see that correction of the record here, and Jeremiah
- 17:2720:7 1 through 11, which says the following Early in the reign
- 17:33of zedekiah, son of Josiah, king of Judah.
- 17:35This word came to Jeremiah from the Lord.
- 17:38This is what the Lord said to me, make a yolk out of straps
- 17:42and crossbars and put it on your neck, then send word to the
- 17:45kings of Edom, Moab, and Ammon, Tyree and sidon through the
- 17:49envoy's who have come to Jerusalem to zedekiah King of
- 17:52Judah, give them a message for their masters and say, this is
- 17:56what the Lord Almighty the god of Israel says, tell this to
- 18:00your masters with my Great power and outstretched arm, I made the
- 18:04earth and its people and the animals that are on it and I
- 18:07give it to anyone. I please.
- 18:09Now, I will give all your country's into the hands of my
- 18:13servant Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon.
- 18:16I will make even the wild animal subject to him.
- 18:19All nations will serve him and his son and his grandson until
- 18:22the time for his land comes then many nations and great Kings
- 18:26will subjugate him if however Any Nation or Kingdom will not
- 18:30serve. As their king of Babylon or
- 18:33ballots neck under his yoke. I will punish that Nation with
- 18:37the sword famine and plague declares the Lord until I
- 18:40destroy it by his hand. So do not listen to your
- 18:43profits, your diviners, your interpreter of Dreams your
- 18:47mediums or your Sorcerers who tell you.
- 18:49You will not serve the king of Babylon.
- 18:51They prophesy lies to you. That will only serve to remove
- 18:55you far from your lands. I will banish you and you will
- 18:58perish. But if any Nation will bounce -
- 19:01Neck under the Yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him.
- 19:04I will let that Nation remain in its own land to till it, and to
- 19:09live their declares the Lord. So something that a lot of
- 19:14people gloss over when they read the stories about
- 19:16Nebuchadnezzar. And the Israelites being taken
- 19:20into Exile in Babylon, they forget this Prophecy from
- 19:25Jeremiah where God literally calls King Nebuchadnezzar.
- 19:29His servant, even though, King Nebuchadnezzar was not only not
- 19:34a follower of God but he actually followed the fake gods
- 19:37of Babylon. But a way that Nebuchadnezzar
- 19:41was God's servant was in this way.
- 19:44God was going to use him to judge the Israelites for their
- 19:48constant, and never-ending Rebellion against him and his
- 19:52commands by having Nebuchadnezzar in the Babylonian
- 19:55Army come in, destroy their nation and take the best of them
- 19:59off into captivity. And as we saw in, The last few
- 20:02verses God made it. Clear that if you listen to
- 20:06these false prophets who were saying that you would not serve
- 20:08under Nebuchadnezzar and you try to stand against him, he would
- 20:12all be destroyed and this was with God's approval and by
- 20:15Nebuchadnezzar's hand. So the whole destruction of
- 20:19Jerusalem and Israel that led to the Babylonian exile for the
- 20:22Jews that was in a sense preordained that was something
- 20:27God said was going to happen and there was nothing you were going
- 20:30to be able to do about it. And it was actually his will,
- 20:33that Nebuchadnezzar would conquer them and take the best
- 20:36of them off to captivity in Babylon.
- 20:40Now, at PTR, what you're saying is this is a man that did not
- 20:45believe in God, but God seen him as basically a useful tool or a
- 20:51way to, you're implying, that God will actually protect some
- 20:55non-believers in order to make something actually happen.
- 20:59A conclusion that he Wills Yes. Essentially if there's something
- 21:05that his will determines that a non-believer needs to do as far
- 21:10as its serving, his greater will and plan than yes, he will do
- 21:13that as we're seeing with Nebuchadnezzar here and as we'll
- 21:17see later when we talk about Cyrus the Great.
- 21:21But I'm sure some people are thinking okay, nice, Revelation,
- 21:25Jeremiah, but what happened to you when the Babylonians
- 21:29actually came to conquer everybody?
- 21:32Well, we see in Jeremiah actually, you know what?
- 21:35Let me Let me just start with verse 1 through 14 so that we
- 21:41can get the bigger picture of what happened to Jeremiah, when
- 21:45the Conquering of Israel came by the Babylonians, we'll just read
- 21:51Jeremiah 39 1 through 14. That's the whole account, only
- 21:54four paragraphs in the ninth year of zedekiah, king of Judah
- 21:59and the 10th month, Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon,
- 22:01marched against Jerusalem, with his whole Army, and laid, Siege
- 22:04to it. And on the 9th day of the fourth
- 22:06month, Month of zedekiah his 11th year, the city wall was
- 22:09broken through, then all the officials of the king of Babylon
- 22:12came and took seats in the Middle Gate.
- 22:15Negril share res, ear of Sanger. Nebo sarthe secum, a chief
- 22:21officer nergal Shara xeric high official in all the other
- 22:25officials of the king of Babylon, when zedekiah King of
- 22:29Judah and all the soldiers saw them they fled they left the
- 22:32city at night by way of the King's Garden through the gate
- 22:34between the two walls and headed toward the Haribo but the
- 22:38Babylonian Army, pursued them and overtook zedekiah, and the
- 22:41plains of Jericho, they captured him and took him to
- 22:43Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon at Rib.
- 22:46Le and the land of Hamas where he pronounced sentence on him.
- 22:49There at Rib, Le the king of Babylon.
- 22:51Slaughtered the sons of zedekiah before his eyes and also killed
- 22:54all the Nobles of Judah, then he put out zedekiah his eyes and
- 22:59bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon the
- 23:02Babylonians Set Fire to the Royal Palace and the houses of
- 23:06the people and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
- 23:09Ned Boozer Aden commander of the Imperial Guard carried into
- 23:13exile, to Babylon the people who remained in the city along with
- 23:16those who had gone over to him and the rest of the people.
- 23:20But neb Boozer, Dan, the commander of the Guard left
- 23:23behind in the land of Judah. Some of the poor people who
- 23:26owned nothing and at that time, he gave them Vineyards and
- 23:29Fields now, Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon.
- 23:33Get had given these orders about Jeremiah Through neb, azharuddin
- 23:38commander of the Imperial Guard, take him and look after him,
- 23:42don't harm him, but do for him, whatever he asks.
- 23:46So no booze are Adan. The commander of the Guard
- 23:49nebbish, as Ned Boucher has been a chief officer.
- 23:54Negril Char has a high official in all the other officers of the
- 23:57king of Babylon sent and had Jeremiah taken out of the
- 24:01courtyard of the Guard. They turned him over to get
- 24:05Elias, son of a, hey Ekam. The son of shaphan to take him
- 24:09back to his home. So he remained among his own
- 24:12people. So we see in a brief
- 24:15description, how the fall of Jerusalem went down and we see
- 24:19that as God's reward to Jeremiah for Faithfully prophesying, what
- 24:23was going to actually happen. He had Nebuchadnezzar and the
- 24:27Babylonian Empire spare, the prophet and don't harm him.
- 24:32Give him whatever he wants. Let him be of his own people.
- 24:35Leave him in peace. So I'd say he got a prophet's
- 24:38reward for being a faithful and true prophet of the Lord.
- 24:43So in case you're wondering what happened to Jeremiah when the
- 24:45fall of Jerusalem went down as the Lord prophesied through him.
- 24:49Well now, you know, And knowing is half the battle.
- 24:57So you are, you're bringing up a non believers in the, in the
- 25:02ancient times and days and all that that God is used.
- 25:06Do you believe that any of the things that some atheists do
- 25:09nowadays is useful to God, that he actually has some kind of
- 25:14will. Yes, I do have some thoughts on
- 25:18that being true, but I want to wait till later to share with
- 25:22those thoughts are because right now, we're focusing on King
- 25:25Nebuchadnezzar. Because if you look at history
- 25:28King, Nebuchadnezzar is not arguably the greatest King who
- 25:31ever lived, but he had according to God's own words, as we're
- 25:35going to see here in a bit in the scriptures, the greatest
- 25:39Kingdom that will ever exist in human history, until the Lord
- 25:43comes back in the stablish, has his own.
- 25:46So I'm going if Nebuchadnezzar first for discussion because
- 25:50he's arguably the greatest King ever who had the greatest Empire
- 25:53in kingdom ever and We can see that he even he was being used
- 25:58by God as an instrument of judgment upon the Israelites and
- 26:01as an instrument for his other purposes.
- 26:05And one of the things I was going to look at in the Book of
- 26:09Daniel, was that God revealed to Nebuchadnezzar personally, that
- 26:14Nebuchadnezzar would be the greatest King over the greatest
- 26:18Kingdom in human history. And that's what Daniel chapter
- 26:212, verses 1 through 47 is about and this story, I find very
- 26:27fascinating for a lot of different reasons and we're
- 26:30going to read it in its entirety so that we can refresh the
- 26:33memories of those watching who may May not remember or don't
- 26:36know this story in the second year of his Reign Nebuchadnezzar
- 26:41had dreams his mind was troubled and he could not sleep.
- 26:46So the king summoned, The Magicians and enchanters
- 26:48sorcerer's and astrologers to tell him what he had dreamed
- 26:52when they came in. And stood before the king, he
- 26:54said to them, I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to
- 26:57know what it means. Then the astrologers answered
- 27:00the king, May the King live forever, tell your servants the
- 27:03dream and we will interpret It the king replied to the
- 27:07astrologers. This is what I have firmly
- 27:09decided. If you do not tell me what my
- 27:11dream was and interpret it, I will have you cut into pieces in
- 27:14your house has turned into piles of rubble, but if you tell me
- 27:18the dream and explain it, you will receive from me gifts and
- 27:21rewards and great honor. So tell me the dream and
- 27:24interpret it for me once more they replied.
- 27:27Let the king tell his servants the dream and we will interpret
- 27:31it. Then the king answered I am
- 27:33certain that you were trying to gain time I'm because you
- 27:35realize that, this is what I have firmly decided.
- 27:38If you do not, tell me the dream.
- 27:40There is only one penalty for you.
- 27:42You have conspired to tell me misleading in wicked things,
- 27:45hoping the situation will change.
- 27:47So then tell me the dream and I will know that you can interpret
- 27:51it for me. So I want to say at this point,
- 27:54that obviously King Nebuchadnezzar had a lot of Yes
- 27:57Man in his circles and he obviously was not a fan of
- 28:01having yes-men, because only someone who doesn't like, yes,
- 28:04men, I will tell you what you want to hear would ever make
- 28:08these kind of stipulations for interpreting his dream.
- 28:11Only someone who is tired of yes, men being around him with
- 28:15say okay I had this dream that disturbs me but I'm not going to
- 28:18tell you about it. You have to tell me what the
- 28:20dream was and then interpret it. And obviously these yes, men
- 28:24couldn't handle that request because they didn't have that
- 28:28kind of divine inspiration to figure out what his dream was.
- 28:32The astrologers answered the king.
- 28:35There is no one on earth who can do what the King asks, no King.
- 28:39However, Great and Mighty has ever asked such a thing of any
- 28:42magician, or enchanter or astrologer, but the King asks is
- 28:46too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king
- 28:49except the gods and they do not live among humans.
- 28:53This made the king so angry and Furious that he ordered the
- 28:56execution of all the wise men of Babylon.
- 28:58So the decree was issued to put the wise men to death and then
- 29:02were sent to look for Daniel and his friends to put To death,
- 29:06when arioch the commander of the kingsguard had gone out to put
- 29:09the debt to death. The wise men of Babylon, Daniel
- 29:12spoke to him with wisdom and tact, he asked the king's
- 29:15officer. Why has the king issue?
- 29:18Such a harsh decree, arioch event, explain the matter to
- 29:21Daniel at this. Daniel went into the king and
- 29:24asked for time so that he might interpret the dream for him,
- 29:28then Daniel returned to his house and explain the matter to
- 29:31his friends hananiah, mishael and Azariah.
- 29:35He urged them to plead, for Mercy, from the god of Heaven
- 29:37concerning this mystery. So that he, and his friends
- 29:40might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon
- 29:43during the night. The mystery was revealed to
- 29:45Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel.
- 29:47Praise the god of heaven and said, praise be to the name of
- 29:51God forever and ever wisdom. And power are his, he changes
- 29:55times and Seasons, he deposes Kings and raises up others.
- 29:58He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the Discerning.
- 30:01He reveals deep and hidden things, he knows what lies in.
- 30:05Goodness and light. Dwells with it, with him.
- 30:07I thank and praise you. God of my ancestors.
- 30:09You have given me wisdom and power.
- 30:11You have made known to me. What we asked of you, you have
- 30:14made known to us the dream of the king then Daniel went to
- 30:18arioch whom the king had appointed to execute the wise
- 30:21men of Babylon and said to him, do not execute the wise men of
- 30:25Babylon, Take Me To The King and I will interpret his dream for
- 30:29him arioch. Took Daniel to the king at once.
- 30:31And said, I have found a man among the Exiles from Judah who
- 30:35Can tell the king. What is dream means?
- 30:37The king asked. Daniel also called belches are,
- 30:41are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream and interpret it
- 30:44Daniel replied? No wise man and chanter magician
- 30:47or diviner can explain to the king.
- 30:49The mystery he is asked about but there is a God in heaven who
- 30:52reveals Mysteries, he has shown King, Nebuchadnezzar, what will
- 30:56happen in days to come your dream?
- 30:58And the visions that pass through your mind as you were
- 31:00lying in bed? Are these as your majesty was
- 31:04lying? Are you to hurt your mind turned
- 31:07to things to come and the revealer of mysteries?
- 31:09Showed you what is going to happen as for me?
- 31:11This mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have
- 31:14greater wisdom than anyone else alive.
- 31:16But so that your majesty may know the interpretation in that
- 31:20you may understand what went through your mind.
- 31:23Your majesty looked and there before you stood a large statue
- 31:26and enormous dazzling, statue, awesome, and appearance.
- 31:30The head of the statue is made of pure gold, its chest, and
- 31:33arms of silver. Its belly And thighs of bronze.
- 31:36Its legs of iron its feet, partly of iron and partly of
- 31:39baked clay while you were watching a rock was cut out, but
- 31:44not by human hands. It struck the statue, on its
- 31:47feet of iron and clay and smashed them.
- 31:49Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold
- 31:52were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing
- 31:55floor in the summer, the wind swept them away without leaving
- 31:58a trace. But the rock that struck, the
- 32:01statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole Earth.
- 32:06This was the dream. And now we will interpret it to
- 32:08the king, your majesty. You are the king of kings, the
- 32:12god of Heaven, has given you dominion and power, and might
- 32:15and glory in your hands. He has placed all mankind and
- 32:19the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky, wherever they
- 32:22live, he has made, you ruler over them.
- 32:24All, you are that head of gold after you?
- 32:28Another kingdom will arise inferior to yours next.
- 32:32A third Kingdom. One of bronze will rule over the
- 32:34whole Earth. Finally there will be a fourth
- 32:36Kingdom, strong as iron for iron breaks and smashes everything
- 32:40and as iron breaks things to Pieces.
- 32:42So it will crush and break all the others.
- 32:45Just as you saw that, the feet and Toes were partly of baked
- 32:47clay and partly of iron. So this will be a divided
- 32:50Kingdom. Yet, it will have some of the
- 32:52strength of iron in it. Even as you saw iron mixed with
- 32:55Clay as the toes were part of the iron and partly clay.
- 32:58So this Kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle, just
- 33:02as you saw the iron mixed of baked clay.
- 33:04So the people Be a mixture and will not remain United any more
- 33:08than iron mixes with clay. In the time of those kings, the
- 33:12god of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be
- 33:14destroyed, nor will be left to another people.
- 33:17It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it
- 33:21will itself. Endure Forever.
- 33:23This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a
- 33:26mountain. But not by human hands, a rock
- 33:29that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the
- 33:31gold to Pieces. The great, God has shown the
- 33:34king In what will take place in the future?
- 33:37The dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy
- 33:42when King Nebuchadnezzar fell problem.
- 33:44Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before, Daniel and
- 33:49paid him honor, in order that an offering and incense be
- 33:52presented to him. The king said to Daniel, surely
- 33:54your God, is the god of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a
- 33:58revealer of mysteries for, you were able to reveal this
- 34:02mystery. So one of the things that I
- 34:06noticed when I was doing some research into the historical
- 34:09King, Nebuchadnezzar in preparation for this stream, was
- 34:12that basically all the mainstream Legacy, you know,
- 34:17institutions said, oh yeah, yeah, there was a king
- 34:20Nebuchadnezzar, and yeah, yeah, yeah, he really did destroy
- 34:24Jerusalem and take the those people into Exile but all this
- 34:27stuff about his dream and threatening to kill all the wise
- 34:30men and the passages. I'm going to read next.
- 34:33After this is done, those never had.
- 34:35Those were just literature. Those things didn't really
- 34:38happen, you know, the Jews who wrote the Book of Daniel, they
- 34:42had a negative opinion of the king and so they put him in a
- 34:45negative light. A problem with that argument,
- 34:48when you read the passage, we just read is that we just saw
- 34:53the god of the Bible, declared that King Nebuchadnezzar's
- 34:56kingdom is the greatest Kingdom, that will ever exist in human
- 35:00history. If I were the Jews, And I didn't
- 35:04like King Nebuchadnezzar and I wanted to create an account of
- 35:07him that painted him in the negative light.
- 35:09Why would I have? My God, say that King
- 35:12Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom is the greatest Kingdom that will ever
- 35:15exist in human history. You know, that's an excellent
- 35:21point. Like, why would you do that?
- 35:23I mean, typically, if you're going to make up a story to make
- 35:26someone look bad, you're not going to have the god, you claim
- 35:30exists painting, the person you're trying to make look bad.
- 35:33As being the greatest King of the greatest Kingdom that will
- 35:36ever exist in human history. It's just, it's not logical at
- 35:40all and yet, that's exactly what we see here in this account.
- 35:45Which I think the principle of embarrassment would be at play
- 35:48here because on one hand if in a certain way it's kind of
- 35:53embarrassing for the Jews to have to write down and preserve
- 35:58the words of Daniel which is that according to God himself,
- 36:01King, Nebuchadnezzar was his Servant when he destroyed
- 36:05Jerusalem and he was the greatest King of the greatest
- 36:08Kingdom in human history. It's kind of embarrassing for
- 36:11the Jews to have to preserve these writings and Revelations
- 36:14of God. And yet, that's exactly what we
- 36:17have in our hands today. So I have no doubt that this
- 36:22particular account happened, just because of the fact that if
- 36:27the Jews were making up a story about Nebuchadnezzar that this
- 36:31is not the one they make up. But even though God claimed that
- 36:37King, Nebuchadnezzar was his servant and even though he said,
- 36:42that King Nebuchadnezzar was the greatest King of the greatest
- 36:45Kingdom that will ever exist in human history.
- 36:48God was not afraid to give King Nebuchadnezzar more than one
- 36:51slice of humble pie in order to keep his ego in check.
- 36:55Because as we see in the passengers were about to read
- 36:59King, Nebuchadnezzar, because he's the greatest King of the
- 37:02greatest Empire in human history.
- 37:03History. His ego kind of got inflated and
- 37:06he started to think of himself basically is equal to God as
- 37:09will see, and Daniel for. But before we get to Daniel for,
- 37:13let's read about the First Slice of humble pie that took place in
- 37:16Daniel chapter 3 verses 1 through 29, which is the story,
- 37:21the account of the image of gold and the Blazing furnace King
- 37:25Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold 60 cubits high in six,
- 37:28cubits wide and set it up on the plain of dura in the province of
- 37:32Babylon. He then summoned the state trips
- 37:35prefect's Governor's advisers treasurers, judges magistrates
- 37:38and all the other provincial officials to come to the
- 37:41dedication of the image. He had set up.
- 37:43So the say traps prefect's Governor's advisers Treasures,
- 37:46judges magistrates and all the other provincial officials
- 37:50assembled for the dedication of the image, that King
- 37:52Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before it, then
- 37:55the herald loudly proclaimed Nations and people's of every
- 37:59language. This is what you are commanded
- 38:01to do. As soon as you hear the sound Of
- 38:03the horn flute, zither liar harp pipe and all kinds of music.
- 38:08You Must Fall Down and Worship the image of gold that came
- 38:11Nebuchadnezzar. Has set up, whoever does not
- 38:13fall down and worship will meet Lee be thrown into a blazing
- 38:16furnace therefore as soon as they heard the sound of the horn
- 38:20flute, zither wire harp and all kinds of music, all the nations
- 38:23and people's of every language fell down and worship the image
- 38:26of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up at this time, some
- 38:30astrologers came forward and denounced the Jews.
- 38:33They The King Nebuchadnezzar May the King live forever.
- 38:36Your majesty has issued a decree that everyone who hears the
- 38:40sound of the horn flute, to their liar, heart pipe, and all
- 38:43kinds of music Must Fall Down and Worship the image of gold
- 38:46and that whoever does not fall down and worship will be thrown
- 38:48to a blazing furnace, but there are some Jews among you who you
- 38:53have set over the Affairs of the province of Babylon.
- 38:56Shadrach Meshach and Abednego who pay no attention to you,
- 39:00your majesty, they neither serve your God's nor worship the image
- 39:03of Gold. You have set up furious with
- 39:06rage Nebuchadnezzar's, summon Shadrach Meshach, and Abednego.
- 39:10So these men were brought before the king and Nebuchadnezzar said
- 39:13to them. Is it true?
- 39:15Shadrach Meshach, and Abednego that you do not serve my gods or
- 39:18worship the image of gold, I have set up now when you hear
- 39:22the sound of the horn flute, zidar lyre, or harp, pipe, and
- 39:25all kinds of music. If you are ready to fall down
- 39:27and worship the image, I made very good, but if you do not
- 39:30worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a Blazing
- 39:34furnace then what God will be able to rescue you from my hand,
- 39:38Shadrach Meshach and Abednego replied to him.
- 39:41King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before
- 39:45you in this matter. If we are thrown into the
- 39:47Blazing furnace, the God, we serve is able to Deliver Us from
- 39:50it and he will Deliver Us from your Majesty's hand, but even if
- 39:54he does not, we want you to know your majesty that we will not
- 39:57serve your gods or worship the image of gold.
- 40:00You have set up Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with
- 40:04Shadrach Meshach and Abednego and his attitude toward them
- 40:07changed. He ordered the furnace heated
- 40:09seven times hotter than usual, and commanded some of the
- 40:13strongest soldiers in his army to tie up, Shadrach Meshach and
- 40:16Abednego and throw them into the Blazing furnace.
- 40:19So these men wearing their robes, trousers, turbines, and
- 40:22other clothes were bound and thrown into the Blazing furnace.
- 40:26The King's Command was so urgent and the furnace.
- 40:28So hot that the Flames of the fire killed the soldiers.
- 40:31So who took up Shadrach Meshach and Abednego and these three men
- 40:35firmly tied fell into the Blazing furnace.
- 40:38Then, King Nebuchadnezzar left to his feet in amazement and
- 40:41acids advisors weren't there. Three men that we tied up and
- 40:44thrown into the fire. They replied certainly your
- 40:47majesty. He said look I see four men
- 40:50walking around the fire Unbound and unharmed and the fourth
- 40:53looks like a son of the Gods. Nebuchadnezzar then approached
- 40:57the opening of the Blazing furnace and shouted Shadrach
- 41:00Meshach and Abednego Servants of the most high God come out, come
- 41:03here. So Shadrach Meshach and Abednego
- 41:06came out of the fire and the state traps prefect's Governors
- 41:10and Royal advisers crowded around them.
- 41:12They saw that the fire had not harm their bodies nor was a hair
- 41:15of their heads singe. Their robes were not scorched
- 41:18and there was no smell of fire on them.
- 41:22Then Nebuchadnezzar said, praise be to the god, of Shadrach,
- 41:26Meshach, and Abednego, who had sent his Angel and rescued his
- 41:30servants. They Trusted in him and defied
- 41:33the King's Command and were willing to give up their lives
- 41:35rather than serve or worship any God, except their own God.
- 41:40Therefore, I decree that the people of Any Nation or a
- 41:43languid language who say, anything against the god of
- 41:46Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be cut into pieces and their
- 41:50houses. Be turned to piles of rubble for
- 41:52no other God can save in this way.
- 41:56Now, this story I just read is one of the most hilarious.
- 42:02In a way slices of Humble Pie I've ever seen served up to
- 42:06anyone much less the greatest King of the greatest Empire in
- 42:09human history challenges God's servants who were serving his as
- 42:14his officials, you know, Bow Down and Worship me when the
- 42:16music plays and if you don't I'll throw you in the fire and
- 42:19what God can save you. Then it's almost like God was
- 42:22you know they're hearing all this and said hold my beer and
- 42:27then not only did God prevent them from being killed by the
- 42:31fire but As we saw at the end of the account when they came out
- 42:34of the fire, there was no evidence whatsoever on them that
- 42:38they had ever been in any fire at all.
- 42:41It's like been never been thrown in.
- 42:44And that only is that miraculous.
- 42:46That's one of those things that humbled Nebuchadnezzar and
- 42:49helped him to remember, oh yeah, there's a God above me, who
- 42:53rules over the Earth and he allowed me to have this
- 42:56position. And if he doesn't want some
- 42:58people to die 5 by my hand, there's nothing I can do.
- 43:01About it. So an amazing slice of humble
- 43:05pie that King Nebuchadnezzar was served on this occasion, but
- 43:09unfortunately, like most humans who have sinned issues.
- 43:14We usually don't have a senior she wants and then a miracle
- 43:18happens and then we don't ever have it again.
- 43:20Sometimes the issue comes up again and God needs to get out
- 43:24more humble pie. And unfortunately for King
- 43:28Nebuchadnezzar as great as he was, he had this problem too.
- 43:31To which is what leads into Daniel chapter 4, which I was
- 43:36looking at it before the stream and I thought, you know, we just
- 43:39need to read this in its entirety because there's nothing
- 43:42really we can leave out here. So starting in verse 1 of Daniel
- 43:46chapter 4, this is the last account of King, Nebuchadnezzar
- 43:49will read on the stream King Nebuchadnezzar to the Nations
- 43:54and people's of every language who live in all the Earth may
- 43:58you prosper greatly. It is my pleasure to tell you
- 44:01about. Miraculous signs and wonders.
- 44:03That the most high God has performed for me.
- 44:06How great are his signs? How Mighty his wonders?
- 44:09Whose kingdom is an eternal Kingdom?
- 44:11His Dominion endures from generation to generation.
- 44:14I Nebuchadnezzar was at my home at home in Maya, Palace
- 44:18contented and prosperous. I had a dream that made me
- 44:21afraid as I was lying in bed, the images and visions that
- 44:25passed through my mind, terrified me.
- 44:27So I commanded that all the wise men of Babylon be brought before
- 44:30me to interpret the dream. I'm for me when The Magicians
- 44:33and enchanters astrologers and diviners came.
- 44:35I told him the dream but they could not interpret it for me.
- 44:38Finally, Daniel came into my presence and I told him the
- 44:40dream he is called belches are after the name of my God and the
- 44:44spirit of the Holy Gods is in him.
- 44:46I said belches our chief in The Magician's.
- 44:48I know that the spirit of the holy God is in you and no
- 44:51mystery is too difficult for you.
- 44:53Here is my dream. Interpret it for me.
- 44:56These are the Visions I saw while lying in bed.
- 44:59I looked and there before me stood Tree in the middle of the
- 45:02land. Its height was enormous, the
- 45:04tree grew large and strong and it stopped touch the sky.
- 45:08It was visible to the ends of the Earth.
- 45:10Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant and on.
- 45:12It was food for all under it. The wild animals found shelter
- 45:16in the birds lived in its branches from it.
- 45:18Every creature was fed in the Visions.
- 45:21I saw a line in bed, I looked, and there before me was a Holy
- 45:24One, a messenger, coming down from heaven.
- 45:27He called in a loud voice, cut down the tree and trim off its
- 45:30branches. Strip off its leaves and Scatter
- 45:33its fruit. Let the animals flee from under
- 45:35it and the birds from its branches, but let the stump and
- 45:38its roots bound with iron and bronze, remain in the ground and
- 45:41the grass of the field. Let him be drenched with the Dew
- 45:45of heaven and let him live with the animals.
- 45:47Among the plants of the Earth, let his mind be changed from
- 45:50that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal till
- 45:53seven times pass by for him. The decision is announced by
- 45:57Messengers. The Holy ones, declared the
- 45:59verdict. So all that the living mainly
- 46:01No, the most high is Sovereign over.
- 46:03Sovereign over all kingdoms on Earth and gives them to anyone.
- 46:06He wishes and sets over them. The lowest of people, this is
- 46:11the dream that I King, Nebuchadnezzar had.
- 46:13Now belshazzar tell me what it means.
- 46:15For none of the wise men in My Kingdom, can interpret it for
- 46:18me, but you can because the spirit of the Holy Gods is in
- 46:21you. Then Daniel also called
- 46:24belshazzar was greatly perplexed for a time and his thoughts
- 46:28terrified him. So, the king said, belches are
- 46:30do. Not let the dream or its meaning
- 46:33alarm. You belches are answered my Lord
- 46:37if only the dream applied to your enemies and its meaning to
- 46:40your adversaries, but reuse saw, which grew large and strong fit,
- 46:44stop touching the sky visible to the whole earth with beautiful
- 46:47leaves, and abundant fruit providing food for all giving
- 46:50shelter to the wild animals and having nesting places in its
- 46:53branches for the birds, your majesty.
- 46:56You are that tree, you have become great and strong, your
- 47:00greatness has grown into Reaches the sky and your Dominion
- 47:03extends to distant parts of the earth.
- 47:07Your majesty saw, Holy One, a messenger, come down from heaven
- 47:10and saying, cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the
- 47:13stump bound of iron and bronze in the grass of the field.
- 47:16While its roots, remain in the ground.
- 47:17Let them be drenched with the Dew of Heaven.
- 47:19Let Him Live with the wild animals until seven times pass
- 47:23by for him. This is the interpretation your
- 47:26majesty and this is the decree, the most high as issued against
- 47:29my Lord, the king. You will be driven away from
- 47:32people and will live with the wild animals.
- 47:35You will eat grass, like the ox and be drenched with the Dew of
- 47:38Heaven. Seven times will pass by for you
- 47:40until you acknowledge that. The most high is Sovereign over
- 47:43all kingdoms on Earth and gives them to anyone.
- 47:45He wishes the command to leave the stump of the tree.
- 47:48If its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you.
- 47:52When you acknowledge that heaven rules, Therefore your majesty be
- 47:56pleased to accept my advice renounce, your sins by doing
- 48:00what is right? And you're Wickedness by being
- 48:02kind to the oppressed it may be then that your Prosperity will
- 48:06continue. All this happened to King
- 48:10Nebuchadnezzar, 12 months later. As the King was walking on the
- 48:14roof of the Royal Palace of Babylon.
- 48:16He said, is not this, the great Babylon.
- 48:19I have built as the Royal residence by my mighty power and
- 48:24for the glory of my Majesty, even as the words were on his
- 48:28lips, a voice Came From Heaven. This is what is decreed for you?
- 48:32King Nebuchadnezzar, your Royal Authority has been taken from
- 48:36you. You will be driven Away from
- 48:38people and will live with the wild animals, you will eat grass
- 48:41like the ox seven times will pass by for you until you
- 48:44acknowledge that. The most high is Sovereign over
- 48:46all kingdoms on Earth and gives them to anyone.
- 48:49He wishes immediately. What had been said about
- 48:52Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people
- 48:56and they eat grass like the ox, his body was drenched with the
- 48:59Dew of Heaven until his hair grew, like the feathers of an
- 49:02eagle and his nails, like the claws of a bird at the end of
- 49:06that time. I never Can either raise my eyes
- 49:09toward heaven, and my sanity was restored.
- 49:12Then I praise the most high and I honored and glorified him who
- 49:16lives forever. His Dominion is an eternal
- 49:19Dominion. His kingdom endures from
- 49:21generation to Generation all the peoples of the Earth are
- 49:25regarded as nothing. He does, as he pleases with the
- 49:29powers of Heaven and the peoples of the earth.
- 49:32No, one can hold back his hand or say to him.
- 49:34What you have you done at the same time?
- 49:37I'm that my sanity was restored. My honor and Splendor were
- 49:40returned to me for the glory of my kingdom.
- 49:42My advisors and Nobles sought me out and I was restored to my
- 49:45throne and became even greater than before.
- 49:48Now I Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorified the king of
- 49:52Heaven because everything he does is right and all his ways
- 49:56are just and those who walk in Pride, he is able to humble and
- 50:01since you play that Pride stuff in the opening of the show,
- 50:04Brett I found that kind of convenient because King Nezzer
- 50:08struggled with a different kind of Pride.
- 50:11He struggled with the pride of his own ego getting too full of
- 50:14himself in the most literal sense to the point where he was
- 50:17basically declaring himself to be God.
- 50:21And so God decided here are some Humble Pie for you.
- 50:24I'm going to make you live like an animal for a long period of
- 50:27time until you acknowledge that I am most Hai and Supreme Over
- 50:31All. And when you do that, then I'll
- 50:33give you back all your kingdoms and your honor and your glory
- 50:36and your position. And it all goes exactly that
- 50:40way. Now, what's funny, when I was
- 50:43doing preparation for this stream, is that I actually found
- 50:46a history article talking about King Nebuchadnezzar and it
- 50:50actually said that there is a Babylonian document that talks
- 50:54about a king who ended up going off into the Wilderness for
- 50:59several years and then eventually he was restored to
- 51:03his position as king over Babylon.
- 51:05But this article claimed that no, no.
- 51:07It wasn't King Nebuchadnezzar who did it?
- 51:10It was the king that came after him.
- 51:13Now, a lot of fun, but a lot of unbelievers would look at that
- 51:16and say CC, the story may have happened, but totally wasn't
- 51:21Nebuchadnezzar. That this happened to her
- 51:23happened to somebody else and all I have to say in response is
- 51:27principle of embarrassment. You're talking about the
- 51:30Babylonian documents that say this and that's think about it
- 51:34would the Babylonian historians really want to write and
- 51:37Preserve in writing that the greatest King they ever had was
- 51:42driven to a Madness by God himself and forced to live like
- 51:47a wild animal for several years until he humbled himself and
- 51:51acknowledge that God was most high in Supreme Over All.
- 51:54I don't think they would have wanted to write that down.
- 51:57I can imagine all too easily than saying that and I wasn't
- 52:01Nebuchadnezzar, huh? It was the guy that came after
- 52:04him to happen to. Yeah, of course, we know that
- 52:07other empires of the past like the Egyptian was back in Moses's
- 52:11time. They had no problem with Hitting
- 52:14any history from their records, that would make them look bad in
- 52:17any way. So I have a pretty easy time
- 52:20believing based on that and human nature that the
- 52:23Babylonians. If they do have a record about a
- 52:26king being driven to Madness for several years and then we're
- 52:30getting his position restored. But I wasn't Nebuchadnezzar.
- 52:34I can easily Envision them saying that it wasn't
- 52:37Nebuchadnezzar just to avoid the embarrassment of writing down
- 52:41what the Bible says, I can eat easily.
- 52:44Imagine that happening, you were going to say something Brett.
- 52:47Yeah, teeth, you are while you were basically putting off this
- 52:51message. I was looking into the
- 52:54information on him and following along with you.
- 52:57And there's an interesting thing, he's one of the most
- 53:00historically documented people throughout the Bible, so anybody
- 53:05out there that's been skeptical that they might want to look
- 53:08into them. There's this unbelievable amount
- 53:10of documentation. Did you know that?
- 53:13This believe that he actually may have suffered a concession
- 53:18called Zoe anthro pia. What's that?
- 53:22It means that he was convinced that he was an animal like some
- 53:27of our atheist buddies out there do you have this article in
- 53:31front of you right now? Because I feel like that's
- 53:34something we should screen share.
- 53:37Yeah, let me get you a link as your screen sharing is looking
- 53:40real good right now. I'm afraid.
- 53:42It'll cause me some Um issue, I'll private chat you this.
- 53:45Okay, but up on my end, this is oops.
- 53:49Let me let me here. I'll give you the word because
- 53:55it's trying to make a link that's like 10,000 lines, long
- 54:00fright condition. And then after you, look at the
- 54:03condition type in Nebuchadnezzar along with that, and you'll see
- 54:08all the information on it. All right, let's give that a
- 54:11try. See.
- 54:13Debu Chad has are that's how you spell his name and then let's
- 54:21just copy and paste this, you know me I'm terrible with names.
- 54:25My scissor name is Bob all say boob right?
- 54:36Bo anthropy. Yeah you see the word?
- 54:39I typed into the private chat. It's Wikipedia haha.
- 54:47Hmm. King Nebuchadnezzar of the
- 54:51sometimes attributed. Boo, anthropy, based on his
- 54:54description in the Book of Daniel.
- 55:01Hmm, interesting. I thought he had me was it just
- 55:06Wikipedia? You were looking at or were you
- 55:08looking at a specific article? Well, I was actually, I was
- 55:12actually looking up historical information or Nebuchadnezzar
- 55:16and his rhyme during this Kingdom.
- 55:18And all that, while you were talking and then that came up
- 55:22and I was like, what the heck is this?
- 55:23Had never even seen that word before, and I copied it, put it
- 55:27in the Google along with his name and voila.
- 55:30That's Came up? Yep, I'm see me.
- 55:33I'm seeing I'm seeing a lot of Articles talking about it but I
- 55:38think I may have found one. That's more interesting than the
- 55:41rest, if I can get it. Let's see.
- 55:58Okay, well I feel immediately have anything to share on screen
- 56:06as far as a specific article goes, but I will screen share my
- 56:11search results so that people can see that we are not shy of
- 56:15sources. When you type in Nebuchadnezzar
- 56:18Zoo anthro Pia. It's going to go ahead and share
- 56:22my entire screen. Again allow.
- 56:26Okay. And as you can see, when I took
- 56:30Brett's advice and typed in Nebuchadnezzar Zoo anthro Pia.
- 56:35Well, we got all kinds of results including well.
- 56:40I guess the other name for it is Bo anthropy, which is the same
- 56:43thing, just a different name for it and apparently it's one of
- 56:47the weirdest disorders. You've never heard of.
- 56:52Well, we've heard it runs at times from non believers claim
- 56:55in their fish monkeys and everything else under the sun.
- 56:59But yeah, it's it ties in nicely, doesn't it?
- 57:03Yeah. And actually lends more Credence
- 57:06to what I just said a little bit ago about how the Babylonian
- 57:09historians would have been incredibly embarrassed to admit
- 57:13that this really happened to Nebuchadnezzar even if they
- 57:16didn't understand what it was, that was afflicted to him.
- 57:19But now that we know that such a thing is a real mental illness
- 57:22and mental disorder. Now it's even easier to believe
- 57:26that the biblical account of Esther and Daniel for really
- 57:29happened, especially when we know that the madness he
- 57:33suffered from is a real mental disorder.
- 57:38Yeah. And we've seen it happen quite a
- 57:40bit with non-believers. You think they come from fish?
- 57:43Hey. All right, let me prep the
- 57:46screen for the next person will be talking about, which is Cyrus
- 57:50the Great now. Cyrus the Great.
- 57:53If you actually study, what if you just Google search or use
- 57:58any search engine? Really to look up information
- 58:01about him, you will see that there's a lot of information
- 58:05about him but most of Attest to how he was, actually a really
- 58:10great humanitarian. As far as being a ruler goes,
- 58:15actually, let me pull that one up first because I got a
- 58:21non-Christian source that supports this certian.
- 58:25It's not very long, so I'll read that actually.
- 58:28Before I read the Bible, passages about him that I have
- 58:31selected just going to screen, share, screen share.
- 58:36Chair Landau. All right.
- 58:40And then so I have here on screen an article from
- 58:44Northeastern Illinois, University titled who was Cyrus
- 58:48the Great short article. So we'll just read it in its
- 58:52entirety. Cyrus the Persian king 592 529
- 58:56BC is considered by many to be an exemplary case of a
- 58:59benevolent. Conquerors allowed his subjects
- 59:02to live and worship the same way as before his political Reign
- 59:05Over them. When his father came to seize,
- 59:08the first died, Cyrus expanded, the a comedian Dynasty and
- 59:13turned the Persian Empire into a sizable entity over a continuous
- 59:17stretch of land from the shores of the Mediterranean to the
- 59:20foothills of the Himalayas. And India, Cyrus is Remembered
- 59:23in history because of his political philosophy of
- 59:26Tolerance, and respect toward non Persians and his
- 59:29demonstration of Mercy on his defeated foe.
- 59:32After establishing his Empire, Cyrus allowed all subjects to
- 59:35participate in Governance, he borrowed the Good Deeds of other
- 59:39cultures in the first sign of his commitment to diversity
- 59:41through culture. So we have an actual man who
- 59:44believes in real diversity. Interesting.
- 59:47He said the Jews free from their Babylonian captivity.
- 59:50They had taken place decades before Cyrus facilitated their
- 59:54return to the promised land and he became a notable figure in
- 59:57the Jewish scripture as a savior who helped them, build the
- 1:00:00second temple of Jerusalem. Many decades later.
- 1:00:03The Greek historian xenophon's describes Celebrated Cyrus
- 1:00:08because he honored his subjects and cared for them as if they
- 1:00:10were his own children. They on their part.
- 1:00:13Revered, Cyrus as a father in his saira pedia.
- 1:00:17Many people don't know. That Cyrus is notoriety, did not
- 1:00:20stop. If the Greeks one of the
- 1:00:22America. One of America's founding
- 1:00:24fathers, Thomas Jefferson owned. Not one but two copies of
- 1:00:28xenophon's book. A replica of Cyrus's Charter
- 1:00:32known as the Cyrus. Cylinder is displayed at the
- 1:00:34United Nations in New York. In 1879, British archaeologists
- 1:00:39Unearthed. This ancient artifact written in
- 1:00:41Babylonian cuneiform. Cyrus has carved his policies
- 1:00:44that became part of his legacy that became revolutionary ideas
- 1:00:48at the world today. Still tries to emulate
- 1:00:52regardless of one's perspective on faith politics or economic
- 1:00:55systems. Cyrus the Great is memorialized
- 1:00:58in every positive way by Persians, across the world.
- 1:01:01Northeastern Illinois University honors his legacy.
- 1:01:05So the main message Get about Cyrus, the Great and his Empire
- 1:01:08is that when he ruled it and he was alive.
- 1:01:11He was known for being benevolent towards the people.
- 1:01:14He conquered, he allowed them to practice their religion, they
- 1:01:17were before and live the way they were before as long as
- 1:01:20they, you know, pitched in where they were ordered to to the
- 1:01:24Empire that he was the ruler of and things were pretty good when
- 1:01:28he was in charge of all of that. And then there were other sites.
- 1:01:32I read that said there was actually Chuckle evidence,
- 1:01:37historical evidence, they found the actual like manuscript
- 1:01:41document. That had what we're about to
- 1:01:43read in Ezra chapter 1, verses 1 through 4, which says this in
- 1:01:50the first year of Cyrus King of Persia in order to fulfill the
- 1:01:54word of the Lord spoken by. Jeremiah the Lord moved the
- 1:01:57heart of Cyrus King of Persia to make a proclamation throughout
- 1:02:00his realm and also to put it in writing.
- 1:02:04This is what Cyrus King of Persia says.
- 1:02:07The Lord, the god of Heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the
- 1:02:11earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at
- 1:02:14Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may
- 1:02:18go up to Jerusalem and Judah and build the Temple of the Lord,
- 1:02:21the god of Israel. The God Who is in Jerusalem and
- 1:02:23met, their God, be with them. And in any locality where
- 1:02:27survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with
- 1:02:30silver and gold with goods and livestock and with Freewill
- 1:02:34offerings for the temple of God. In Jerusalem.
- 1:02:38So we see here that Cyrus himself allowed the Jews to go
- 1:02:45back to Jerusalem and rebuild their nation and their Temple
- 1:02:49but what a lot of people either don't know or don't want to hear
- 1:02:54is that many decades before Cyrus was even born.
- 1:02:59So well over 100 years. Before any of this happened, God
- 1:03:03prophesied through the prophet Isaiah.
- 1:03:07Cyrus and hit the way. His life would go down was going
- 1:03:10to happen and that he was going to allow the Jews to go back and
- 1:03:13rebuild their Nation. So we're going to read one long
- 1:03:17stretch of text. Well kind of long.
- 1:03:21We're going to start in Isaiah 44:24 and then we're going to go
- 1:03:26through part of Isaiah 45 because it's also about Cyrus.
- 1:03:31So when Isaiah 44, verse 24, we read this is what the Lord says.
- 1:03:36Has your Redeemer, Redeemer who formed you in the womb.
- 1:03:40I am the Lord, the maker of all things, who stretches out the
- 1:03:43heavens, who spreads out the Earth, by myself, who foils the
- 1:03:47signs of false prophets, and makes fools of diviners who
- 1:03:50overthrows, the learning of the wise and turns it into nonsense,
- 1:03:54who carries out the words of his servants and fulfills.
- 1:03:57The predictions of his Messengers, who says of
- 1:04:00Jerusalem, it shall be inhabited of the towns of Judah.
- 1:04:04They shall be rebuilt and of there.
- 1:04:06Wins. I will restore them who says to
- 1:04:10the watery deep be dry, and I will dry up your streams.
- 1:04:13Who says of Cyrus. He is my shepherd and will
- 1:04:18accomplish all that. I please, he will say, have
- 1:04:21Jerusalem. Let it be rebuilt, and of the
- 1:04:24temple. Let its foundations be laid.
- 1:04:28So, just in this little part, god talks about Cyrus before he
- 1:04:33was ever born much less, a conquering King and ruler.
- 1:04:36Or and he called Cyrus his Shepherd and that Cyrus would
- 1:04:41accomplish all that God pleases and that Cyrus would say let
- 1:04:46Jerusalem and the temple be rebuilt.
- 1:04:49Let the foundation's be laid, kind of creepy to see a guy who
- 1:04:54didn't exist until like, over 100 years.
- 1:04:56After this prophecy was given get talked about and have it
- 1:05:01accurately predict what he was going to do.
- 1:05:03But there's more when we go to Isaiah, Chapter 45 verse has.
- 1:05:12Oh boy, I hear we are verses 1 through 13.
- 1:05:18We read this. This is what the Lord says to
- 1:05:21his anointed to Cyrus whose right hand.
- 1:05:25I take hold of to subdue Nations before him and to strip Kings of
- 1:05:30their armor to open doors before him.
- 1:05:33So that Gates will not be. Shut, I will go before you and
- 1:05:36level the mountains. I will break down Gates of
- 1:05:39bronze and cut through bars of iron.
- 1:05:41I will Give you Hidden Treasures which is stored in secret places
- 1:05:45so that you may know that I am the Lord, the god of Israel who
- 1:05:50summons You by name for the sake of Jacob, my servant of Israel.
- 1:05:56My Chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you.
- 1:06:00A title of Honor, though. You do not acknowledge me.
- 1:06:04I am the lord and there is no other apart from me.
- 1:06:08There is no God. I will strengthen you.
- 1:06:12You have not acknowledged me so that from the rising of the Sun
- 1:06:16to the place of its setting. People may know that there is
- 1:06:18none besides me, I am the lord and there is no other.
- 1:06:22I form the light and create Darkness, I bring prosperity and
- 1:06:26create disaster. I the Lord do all these things.
- 1:06:30You heavens above rain down my righteousness, let the clouds
- 1:06:33shower it down. Let the Earth open wide let
- 1:06:36salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it.
- 1:06:40I the Lord have created it. It.
- 1:06:42Whoa, to those who quarrel with their maker, those who are
- 1:06:45nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground.
- 1:06:49This is the clay, say to the Potter.
- 1:06:51What are you making? Does your work say, the Potter
- 1:06:54has no hands. Woe to the one who says to a
- 1:06:56father, what have you begotten or to a mother?
- 1:06:59What have you brought to birth? This is what the Lord says the.
- 1:07:03Holy One of Israel and its maker concerning things to come.
- 1:07:06Do you question me about my children or give me orders about
- 1:07:09the work of my hands? It is.
- 1:07:11I who made the Griffin created mankind on it.
- 1:07:14My own hands stretched out the heavens.
- 1:07:16I Marshall their Starry hosts. I will raise up Cyrus in my
- 1:07:20righteousness. I will make his way straight.
- 1:07:23He will rebuild my city and set my ex Isles free, but not for a
- 1:07:28price or reward says the Lord Almighty.
- 1:07:33So we have God speaking through the prophet Isaiah, in Isaiah,
- 1:07:3744, 24 through Isaiah 45, 13, and we have God revealing that
- 1:07:43he was strengthening Cyrus even though Cyrus did not acknowledge
- 1:07:49Him. So Cyrus was not a believer in
- 1:07:52God and was a believer in whatever God's his religion
- 1:07:56taught or his culture taught. But even though he was not a
- 1:08:00believer in God, God, strengthened Cyrus so that he
- 1:08:04would be able to conquer all the nations that he concurred in
- 1:08:07order to create his Empire and he gave him access to the Hidden
- 1:08:11Treasures. That were stored up in Babylon,
- 1:08:13which is what the Hidden Treasures reference was to.
- 1:08:16He strengthened Cyrus so that he could do all these things.
- 1:08:20Just so that Cyrus could be the one because he was benevolent.
- 1:08:24Anyway, Cyrus could be the one to at the end of the 70 years of
- 1:08:29captivity that were prophesied and Jeremiah Cyrus could be the
- 1:08:33one to say, okay, Jews. You're eight.
- 1:08:36You're allowed. Now, to go back to your land,
- 1:08:38rebuild your nation and rebuild the Lord's Temple.
- 1:08:42That is what Cyrus is purpose in life was even though he was
- 1:08:45never a believer in God, he was used by God, he was a servant of
- 1:08:49the Lord in a sense. He was a Shepherd of the Lord,
- 1:08:53who did what the Lord wanted him to do.
- 1:08:56Even though he never acknowledge God, as far as we know, he
- 1:09:00certainly didn't leading up to, when he freed the Jews, my guess
- 1:09:04is, he probably didn't before he died, but as we could see, God
- 1:09:08used both King Nebuchadnezzar. The greatest King, arguably,
- 1:09:12Ever lived and one of the other greatest Kings who ever lived,
- 1:09:15King Cyrus, he used them as instruments of judgment to carry
- 1:09:20out his will and to do the things he wanted to do.
- 1:09:23Which in the case of Cyrus, he allowed the Jews to go back to
- 1:09:28the Holy Land, 70 years after Nebuchadnezzar, destroyed it,
- 1:09:32and took them into captivity just like the Lord prophesied
- 1:09:35back. Then it's a beautiful picture of
- 1:09:39Prophecy and fulfillment if you Look at it in the grander scale
- 1:09:43of things. Do you have any thoughts on this
- 1:09:47Brett before we transition into more modern contemporary
- 1:09:50examples of God using non-believers to accomplish his
- 1:09:53will? No, I find it.
- 1:09:56Absolutely fascinating. We've got basically a couple
- 1:10:00different generations of people where you can see, even though
- 1:10:04they weren't strong Believers, and some of them not even in the
- 1:10:07faith that God was there for them.
- 1:10:10The entire time, it kind of reminds me of that.
- 1:10:12Quote, you may not believe in God, but God believes in you.
- 1:10:18Yeah, I can see how that quote would be accurate when applied
- 1:10:21to what we were reading in the Bible, but as far Is modern
- 1:10:26examples. Go, I'll give you a modern
- 1:10:28example of how God uses non-believers to do his.
- 1:10:33Will I feel like for me personally, when I sit back and
- 1:10:38I look at how the atheists and evolutionists on the internet
- 1:10:42and especially on YouTube how they behave, the kind of
- 1:10:45arguments they make the way they try to denounce into bunk the
- 1:10:49biblical worldview or the existence of God or creationism
- 1:10:53or any number of things. Things.
- 1:10:56I feel like I'm actually benefiting in one sense because
- 1:11:00God is showing me and he's showing everybody really what
- 1:11:04happens when you rebel against him and deny what he has
- 1:11:07revealed about Origins and how the Earth came to be How the
- 1:11:12Universe came to be, how the human race came to be how
- 1:11:16history actually went down. And more importantly, what
- 1:11:19objective morality is and accountability for how you
- 1:11:23choose to live your life. It's amazing, what, how the
- 1:11:28atheist behave? Because you can see clearly from
- 1:11:31the way they live their lives, that they have to employ a lot
- 1:11:35of double standards and engage in a lot of doublespeak and
- 1:11:38hypocrisy in order to maintain the positions that they do,
- 1:11:42especially when they try to debunk my worldview and even in
- 1:11:47the case of like the smarter Slicker ones like the apology is
- 1:11:50of the world even though they have really good mannerisms and
- 1:11:55charismatic and they're articulate and they can make on
- 1:11:59the surface. Some really convincing
- 1:12:01arguments. You follow them long enough, You
- 1:12:03observe them closely enough and even with those guys you can see
- 1:12:07that they have a real disdain for truth.
- 1:12:10Being told they have a real disdain for both sides of an
- 1:12:14issue being presented in full so that people can make up their
- 1:12:17own mind. Which is why people like him
- 1:12:20have engaged in cancel culture, tactics in the past, in regards
- 1:12:24to people like Ken, Ham. So, even with the ones who are
- 1:12:28more articulate and see more convincing, you can see God
- 1:12:32showing us what happens when you reject him, does it matter how
- 1:12:36smart you are. It doesn't matter how articulate
- 1:12:39you are. It doesn't matter how popular
- 1:12:41you are on the Internet or how many views your videos get or
- 1:12:45how much engagement your social media posts, get.
- 1:12:48It doesn't matter how many people you convince the think
- 1:12:50the way you do. You are living in Folly and
- 1:12:55denial of reality. When you reject God and his
- 1:12:59commands and his written word to humankind and you can just see
- 1:13:03it with the way they live their lives.
- 1:13:05And I feel like God is using those people in a way to show us
- 1:13:10what happens when you live life separate from him.
- 1:13:15Well, tto are myself listening p.m. here in the message that
- 1:13:19you're putting forth. I, I feel like there's a
- 1:13:22personal impact that has happened to me and kind of the
- 1:13:27same way. I remember, when I first started
- 1:13:30transitioning and accepting God, I was standing on the deck with
- 1:13:34my wife and I said, honey I believe in God absolutely now,
- 1:13:38but why do you think that God took so long to get around?
- 1:13:43To me? Why not?
- 1:13:43Just two years. Ears under this why?
- 1:13:46I'm in tired, you know, decade or so.
- 1:13:49And she said well maybe God wanted you to be in the enemy
- 1:13:52camp. So you would know all their
- 1:13:54tricks and tools and from there are and I took that as a
- 1:13:59strength and a message from her that is very, very inspiring and
- 1:14:06definitely very true. As far as the principal goes, I
- 1:14:10feel the same way about my conversion from older, if
- 1:14:14Station isn't The Young Earth creationism?
- 1:14:17When I look back on the journey I've been on because sometimes I
- 1:14:21look back and I think man, why did I become a young Earth
- 1:14:24creationist so much later in my life instead of, you know,
- 1:14:28closer to the beginning of my apologetics career, when I
- 1:14:31started studying apologetics and when I look back on it, it
- 1:14:36becomes. Clear to me, I think God allowed
- 1:14:39me to be an older of creationist for as long as I was, which was
- 1:14:42basically the first 24 years of my life.
- 1:14:45So that I would know how they are arguments worked and how
- 1:14:49they handled the Bible. And basically be able to expose
- 1:14:52the flaws with all of that stuff.
- 1:14:55And I spent many years on YouTube, and B, shoot and other
- 1:14:58websites doing exactly that. I haven't done it as much lately
- 1:15:02because time hasn't been there hasn't been as much of a need or
- 1:15:07a desire lately, but I did all that stuff and I was able to do
- 1:15:12all that stuff because I used to be an old Creation, especially
- 1:15:15when it comes to the arguments from the Bible that they try to
- 1:15:19make to justify their worldview because I used to think that way
- 1:15:24and know the verses they referred to.
- 1:15:27I was able to study the Bible and some tire T and another
- 1:15:30context of the versus the appeal to know what other passages say.
- 1:15:34And be able to make proper Judgment of what the bible
- 1:15:38really says. And a lot of the arguments
- 1:15:41actually pretty much all the arguments that they make.
- 1:15:44From the Bible. They turn out to be false if you
- 1:15:47actually examine the matter closely.
- 1:15:50Which is really sad because they talked a big game about proper
- 1:15:53biblical interpretation and the principles they lay out, I agree
- 1:15:56with is just that they don't practicing.
- 1:16:00And that's a shame but I can and that principle is the same as
- 1:16:04what you went through. What you described.
- 1:16:08It's pretty interesting from the experiences that you've had and
- 1:16:11the all the learning that you've done and seen things from all
- 1:16:14different positions. It's a I had never really
- 1:16:18thought about that with Nebuchadnezzar before about God,
- 1:16:21actually protecting and actually helping them.
- 1:16:24Some different ways are non-believers water religious
- 1:16:27folks out there they got this idea of yours.
- 1:16:29Unbeliever than God's pretty much done with.
- 1:16:32You know, this is a huge historical, you know, thing
- 1:16:38right in our face here and it's amazing.
- 1:16:41You pointed it out, it went right over my head until I heard
- 1:16:44it today. Yeah, I had as we saw in Daniel,
- 1:16:48he also was not afraid to give Nebuchadnezzar a few slices of
- 1:16:52Humble Pie when his ego got too big and if God's willing to
- 1:16:58Humble someone is great in my Mighty as Nebuchadnezzar.
- 1:17:01Well, he can humble anybody that should be the lesson we get from
- 1:17:05that. So you were getting them, the
- 1:17:08Cyrus a bit, their did you have some more you wanted to say on
- 1:17:11him? Now I think the passage is I
- 1:17:14read from the Bible and what I read from that website layout,
- 1:17:18what I wanted to point out about him, the the proclamation, he
- 1:17:23gave, you know, that the Jews go back to their land and rebuild
- 1:17:25their nation in Temple. That's not only written in the
- 1:17:28passage in the I read from Ezra, but there's actually a I forget
- 1:17:33what the document is called. But basically there's like a
- 1:17:36Persian document where it has written something very similar
- 1:17:40to what the book of Ezra has written as far as what Cyrus
- 1:17:44says, there is an actual non Bible document documenting, that
- 1:17:48Cyrus really did Proclaim what he did about the Jews and
- 1:17:52letting them go back to their land, which is something that is
- 1:17:55very fascinating to me. Because I'm sure in the past,
- 1:17:59Passed before that. Document was discovered.
- 1:18:02A lot of people said well yeah, I know Ezra says that he said
- 1:18:05that but we don't have any evidence outside of the Bible
- 1:18:08that King Cyrus or Cyrus, the Great ever actually made such a
- 1:18:12proclamation. And then of course we found the
- 1:18:15document outside the Bible where he did.
- 1:18:19So, you know, it's just one of those things that is a great
- 1:18:22evidence supporting the Bible. And find it interesting that
- 1:18:27most of the people who claim that they can't find evidence in
- 1:18:30the Bible are also the same people who admittedly or never
- 1:18:34even read the Bible. Yeah, biblical illiteracy is a
- 1:18:39huge problem today, and it's not just with non-believers, it's
- 1:18:43people. Even who call themselves
- 1:18:45Christians, who haven't read the Bible, or even if they have read
- 1:18:48it, it was like a years ago or it was in passing and scanning,
- 1:18:52and they didn't really take the time to study and understand it.
- 1:18:56Because a lot of the issues that the Christian church in America
- 1:19:00experiences today, a lot of them stand from Biblical ignorance,
- 1:19:05Oh illiteracy is my friend Tom would call it and he and I agree
- 1:19:10that if Christians in general were more willing to sit down
- 1:19:14and study and read the Bible in context and figure out exactly
- 1:19:19what it says exactly what it teaches allow.
- 1:19:22The issues we have today in the church would not be presence.
- 1:19:27Of course I have a hard time believing that's ever actually
- 1:19:30going to happen because things are only going to get worse
- 1:19:33before the Lord comes back. According to the Sure is and as
- 1:19:37we have seen in the last couple of years things, well, they're
- 1:19:40just getting worse. Well, ptor, it may not surprise
- 1:19:45you to know this but back whenever I was doing the
- 1:19:48non-believer thing, I don't know if you knew this or not but if I
- 1:19:52went into a chat room or made a church phone call one of my
- 1:19:55first questions I would ask people as have.
- 1:19:58You actually read the Bible cover to cover and if a
- 1:20:01religious person told me know that they read a lot of stuff
- 1:20:05but they Haven't run it all or haven't had the time to do that
- 1:20:10even though I was a non-believer, I would come to
- 1:20:12the conclusion that this was not a person who actually cared
- 1:20:15about their faith. You've got a book that you're
- 1:20:18convinced is from God himself, the creators of the universe and
- 1:20:23don't even want to bother to read it.
- 1:20:25As soon as I heard that, that would be the end of the
- 1:20:27conversation with those specific people.
- 1:20:31That's how I live, right? And it makes sense, that you
- 1:20:35would be that And the way you approach them because, you know,
- 1:20:39we're commanded by the Bible itself to study the scriptures
- 1:20:42and understand them as best as we are able to.
- 1:20:46And you know, we don't really have an excuse especially in
- 1:20:49today's age. When we don't just have a Bible
- 1:20:52you can hold in your hand like this but you can get apps on
- 1:20:55your phone and on your computer and other devices where you can
- 1:20:58read the Bible through those and you have apps where you can
- 1:21:01literally have a narrator read the Bible to you.
- 1:21:05On my phone, I have a app by The Gideons and it's a Bible app
- 1:21:11where it not only has the ESV version and the King James
- 1:21:15version of the Bible and you can look up each verse and each
- 1:21:19chapter in each book, you know, in those categories, but you can
- 1:21:23also hit the play button at the bottom of the page and it will
- 1:21:27narrate all of it for you. So you could literally, just
- 1:21:30even take a nap like that and sit it down and hit play, and
- 1:21:33you can listen to some voice. Read the entire Bible to you.
- 1:21:37I mean we really have no excuse to be biblically illiterate with
- 1:21:41all the different ways we have access to the Bible and can read
- 1:21:45the Bible and can even have narrations pre-recorded read the
- 1:21:49Bible to us. I mean, we really don't have an
- 1:21:51excuse at this point to be biblically illiterate and I
- 1:21:55think that biblical illiteracy is really bad.
- 1:21:58If you're a Christian because we're commanded by the New
- 1:22:01Testament, should be able to defend our faith and Elway.
- 1:22:05And if you don't even know what the Bible says, you're not going
- 1:22:10to be adequately prepared to defend the truthfulness of its
- 1:22:13claims. You can't defend the
- 1:22:15truthfulness of its claims with evidence.
- 1:22:17If you don't even know what the claims are and apologetics
- 1:22:22unfortunately is something that not too many Christians get into
- 1:22:26or if they do get into it they get like you know their Tippy
- 1:22:29Toe in it and they don't get any further than that.
- 1:22:31And that's something I've always wanted to change over the years
- 1:22:34as I've Doing my apologetics content and this ladies and
- 1:22:39gentlemen is one of the major reasons why connected with ptor
- 1:22:43in the first place and watched a lot of his videos over on B
- 1:22:47you'd and the stuff that he's done another sites because I
- 1:22:50realize from listening to him and how passionate he is and has
- 1:22:54the information that he gives it is clear that he takes his
- 1:22:58faith. Very seriously.
- 1:22:59That's one of the reasons why we became very connected and I
- 1:23:03think really good friends other Oh, I just felt like they were
- 1:23:07wishy-washy. Yeah.
- 1:23:09In my case, I put a lot of emphasis on what the Bible says
- 1:23:13because as you know, and I know and other people watching
- 1:23:17though, if you put your faith in Christian leaders and other
- 1:23:21Christian people over the Bible, you're always going to end up
- 1:23:25disappointed, especially when the people get found out in sin
- 1:23:29or they turn out to be living a double life.
- 1:23:32Or they D convert from the faith into, like atheism, or
- 1:23:35agnosticism or some other religion if you put Your faith.
- 1:23:39Your ultimate faith. That is in a Christian people.
- 1:23:43There's just nothing but disappointment, waiting for you.
- 1:23:46But if your faith is in the Bible and what it teaches that
- 1:23:50no matter what happens with Christian people, no matter, the
- 1:23:53sins. They commit, no matter how they
- 1:23:55get exposed for being fakes and frauds, or being horrible people
- 1:23:59or if they D convert to another religion after spending years,
- 1:24:02seemingly doing the Lord's work. That stuff will temporarily
- 1:24:07bother you, but it will fade pretty quickly because they were
- 1:24:11never your ultimate safe or your source of your faith.
- 1:24:14The Bible was that's the way I've been for many years and so
- 1:24:18that's how I'm able to keep going and maintain my faith,
- 1:24:22even when all kinds of things happen with Biblical leaders
- 1:24:26church, leaders, Christian leaders falling today.
- 1:24:29The Bible is my rock and so that stuff doesn't faze me, even if
- 1:24:33it's sad. Yeah, I never condemned anybody
- 1:24:37for what they may have done in their pasture for mistakes.
- 1:24:40They may have made, but if someone claims that they have a
- 1:24:43foundation built on something yet, they know nothing of their
- 1:24:47Foundation as a smart wise, man. Once said, if you have no
- 1:24:51Foundation to stand on then you have nothing to stand on for.
- 1:24:56Yeah. Because if you don't have a
- 1:24:58strong Foundation, then is Jesus said as you're building your
- 1:25:01house upon the shifting Sands and when the storm comes blown
- 1:25:06away just blown away. And that's true of pretty much
- 1:25:11any world view outside the biblical world view.
- 1:25:13It's not a strong foundation. So when the storm comes and
- 1:25:18things get tough and it won't be that far into the future when
- 1:25:22things get really tough for everybody like a prison planet
- 1:25:25to us. We're going to see who's
- 1:25:28legitimate who's not. But that's something I've been
- 1:25:31thinking for years now, is that as things get more Draconian and
- 1:25:35Tech on the internet in society and government?
- 1:25:39And then e and the political landscape in general this
- 1:25:41things. Get more Draconian and
- 1:25:44orwellian. We're going to see over time who
- 1:25:47the True Believers are the people who really believe in the
- 1:25:50Lord and believe the things that are recorded and written in the
- 1:25:54Bible, we're going to see who's legitimate and who's not, if you
- 1:25:58don't mind just for a moment, just to take a little bit of a
- 1:26:02right turn or left turn whatever turn you want to go with.
- 1:26:06You've been working on a website lately once you tell, Tell us a
- 1:26:09little bit about what the concept is and what got you
- 1:26:12going for it? What's the idea that are we
- 1:26:15talking about the tto? Our side, I just put out a video
- 1:26:18about or we talking about quarter.
- 1:26:21Well, you've got your video site.
- 1:26:23You also got one that you just recently talked about in video
- 1:26:27and knocking out some stuff. Would you like to share with the
- 1:26:30audience over here right now? Folks were connected on both
- 1:26:34channels, where actually live stream in here as well as T,
- 1:26:37cures, YouTube channel. Make sure you subscribe to them
- 1:26:40if you're listening from. All right.
- 1:26:43You want to show us what you got in the website?
- 1:26:46There we gas. So the one that you can see my
- 1:26:49tto our site, right? Yes.
- 1:26:53One. So the one that you're seeing.
- 1:26:55Yeah, so the one you seen on screen ladies and germs is the
- 1:26:58official tto. Our site that I just rolled out
- 1:27:03like a few weeks back. I did it through joshu hosting
- 1:27:08Services, which is run by my friend.
- 1:27:09Josh, who also you also help me set up the The other site you're
- 1:27:13about to see, basically, what I found out is that on June 30th,
- 1:27:19so in 28 days, Faith Life sites, which was hosting my website
- 1:27:24that I previously had. It's all going to go.
- 1:27:26Bye-bye, and so is my website and so I was like, man, I got to
- 1:27:30find a new way to create a website and you know not have
- 1:27:35that my site go away when Faith Life sites goes away.
- 1:27:38So I started talking to Josh and I tell them about Faith, Life
- 1:27:41sites and how It's a Church website builder that I use to
- 1:27:44make a tto our website. And then I told him about how I
- 1:27:48was paying them $20 a month just so I could have the ability to
- 1:27:52embed my videos on my website and that's when he informed me
- 1:27:56that I was getting majorly ripped off and then he explained
- 1:28:01to me how I could create my own website on a three dollar per
- 1:28:05month Cloud Server on Joshua hosting services and it allows
- 1:28:09for unlimited web traffic and it's basically Unlimited
- 1:28:13everything in most ways and basically, I could have a better
- 1:28:18looking more functional version of my website and only have to
- 1:28:22pay three bucks. A month to run the whole thing
- 1:28:25on a little Cloud Server, instead of paying someone else,
- 1:28:2920 bucks a month, not just a host my site, but just so that I
- 1:28:32could have the ability to embed videos on it.
- 1:28:36And naturally when I was building this thing, I
- 1:28:37discovered that just about every block or component that you can
- 1:28:42put on. As an HTML box, which allows me
- 1:28:45to easily put my videos on there.
- 1:28:48So this is the homepage you got the about page.
- 1:28:51There's actually a Blog section that I haven't started utilizing
- 1:28:54yet, but I will in the future. There's a social media page
- 1:28:58where you can see all the platforms.
- 1:28:59I'm on where my tip jar, crowdfunding stuff is as well as
- 1:29:04my Teespring store. We got the God TV radio live
- 1:29:08streams that I've hosted. We got the tto our show.
- 1:29:12We also got my guest speaking information Pages for each of my
- 1:29:16books. That's basically it in a
- 1:29:19nutshell, but it's a better-looking version of my
- 1:29:22website and it's way cheaper to maintain than the old site was.
- 1:29:27I mean we're talking in 85% Savings in monthly expenditure
- 1:29:33to maintain this new site and that's something that I am so
- 1:29:37thankful for and it looks good too.
- 1:29:41But then the other site that I run that I've been spending a
- 1:29:45lot of time working on especially recently is Corridor
- 1:29:49which is my own YouTube alternative that I created about
- 1:29:54a little over a year ago. Actually, it's very similar to
- 1:29:58YouTube in terms of layout user interface in terms of features
- 1:30:02and functionality. So like there's HD video
- 1:30:05uploads. There's live streaming, there's
- 1:30:08free restreaming. There's public playlists.
- 1:30:11There's an Easy-to-use comment, moderation system and the
- 1:30:17ability to customize your profile is better than YouTube's
- 1:30:21because you actually can do like all kinds of tech stuff in the
- 1:30:24description Parts in the back end.
- 1:30:27And then, there's also features that you won't find on YouTube,
- 1:30:31like the video chat rooms that you can create on quarter back
- 1:30:35in the day. Google Hangouts used to be part
- 1:30:38of YouTube, so you could literally from your YouTube
- 1:30:41channel, create a Google Hangout room, where you could do video
- 1:30:45calls if your friends, family, coworkers fellow, content,
- 1:30:48creators, Etc. And then if you wanted to, you
- 1:30:50could stream them to your YouTube channel.
- 1:30:52But then like five years ago or so they took that away on my
- 1:30:56site, you can basically do the same thing.
- 1:30:58You can create a video chat room using something that's an open
- 1:31:02source alternative, to Google Hangout.
- 1:31:05And you can do, basically all the same things you could do on
- 1:31:07Google Hangout and you can even stream to your channels from
- 1:31:10them. Which is really cool and
- 1:31:13something I plan to use more in the future.
- 1:31:15When I have a better infrastructure behind quarter by
- 1:31:19another thing you can do on quarter.
- 1:31:22That's really cool and that gives you incentive to actually
- 1:31:24share your videos out. If you're uploading content to
- 1:31:27it is that you can earn this currency.
- 1:31:30I made called quarter bucks. It's not real money.
- 1:31:33It's not some cryptocurrency. Which one person mistakenly
- 1:31:37thought it was last year and I was like no no sorry, it's not
- 1:31:40crypto, it's literally just Just a little digital point system
- 1:31:43that exists only on the site. I call it quarter bucks and the
- 1:31:47way it works is the more video views you get on your videos,
- 1:31:52the more of quarter bucks that you earn and when you earn
- 1:31:55enough quarter bucks, you can actually use those quarter bucks
- 1:31:59to promote either individual videos of yours or your entire
- 1:32:03channel on the main page of the site.
- 1:32:05So in my case, you can see on screen, my channel tto are is in
- 1:32:10the promoted channels. I have that is towards the top
- 1:32:13of the main page so if you're someone who's like yeah I want
- 1:32:19to get seen by everyone on quarter and try and raise my
- 1:32:22subscriber count. The best way to do that is to
- 1:32:25actually create a quarter Channel, upload your content to
- 1:32:28it. Sure out your quarter links and
- 1:32:30do everything. You can to get legitimate views
- 1:32:33on your quarter videos. And what you'll notice is that
- 1:32:36the more views your videos get the quicker, your quarter bucks,
- 1:32:40will fill up and the quicker. You can promote your Channel, or
- 1:32:43your individual videos on the main page of the site.
- 1:32:47And since there isn't a lot of people using quarter right now,
- 1:32:50lots of people can promote their channels on the main page of
- 1:32:54quarter and they don't need my permission to do it.
- 1:32:57They just have to actually get views on their videos and so not
- 1:33:00only does it give you an incentive to share out your
- 1:33:04quarter videos, it actually gives you incentive to post a
- 1:33:07lot of your videos or all of your videos to quarter because
- 1:33:10you never know which videos are going.
- 1:33:11Get lots of views and which aren't and so you got to really
- 1:33:15work at it. You know you got to do that
- 1:33:16grind that you would do for YouTube is got to do it for
- 1:33:19quarter basically and so this is something that I've been wanting
- 1:33:24to do for years. I finally got around to doing it
- 1:33:27last year. My friend Josh is also helped me
- 1:33:30with this. He is allowing me to use his
- 1:33:33hosting services, to host this site on one of his dedicated
- 1:33:37servers. And one of the first things I
- 1:33:39had to do, was make sure that the backend Purity was good.
- 1:33:43Because on the day that I launched the website, we had
- 1:33:47forgotten to put crowd sick on to my server.
- 1:33:50And So within like, 30 minutes of my website going online, it
- 1:33:54got such a large, massive, DDOS attack on it than it actually
- 1:33:58shut down, and you couldn't even load a page.
- 1:34:01So what Josh had I had to do was we had to go in and put crab
- 1:34:05stick on to my server, which is an open-source security program
- 1:34:10that basically. Fox DDOS attacks, it compiles, a
- 1:34:14list, that's ever-growing of all the IP addresses that are linked
- 1:34:19to bot accounts that do these DDOS attacks.
- 1:34:21And then when DDOS attacks happen to your site, if those IP
- 1:34:26addresses are already in the crowd SEC list and you have
- 1:34:31crowd second table on your server, it will shut down to
- 1:34:34DDOS attack before it can actually affect your site and so
- 1:34:38I'm actually being hit with DDOS attacks all the time right now
- 1:34:41in Quarter, but you would never know it.
- 1:34:43Because crowd SEC is destroying them before they can actually
- 1:34:47affect the performance of quarter.
- 1:34:50So there are people out there who would love to shut quarter
- 1:34:53down basically just by making it unusable through DDOS attacks
- 1:34:58but thanks to the technology that we have at our disposal
- 1:35:01these days. Those attacks are completely
- 1:35:04useless and so when you come to quarter, you don't have to worry
- 1:35:07about the site going down one day because a DDOS attack
- 1:35:11happened and I guess I better go back to YouTube, not going to
- 1:35:14happen that quarter. We've got the security in place
- 1:35:17to prevent something like that from ever happening.
- 1:35:20And I made sure that my friend is hosting service, is the one I
- 1:35:24use the hosts the site. So we don't have to worry about
- 1:35:27our site going down. Like parlay did two years ago
- 1:35:30when they had Amazon hosting, all their stuff like that was
- 1:35:34ever going to be a good idea in the long run but Yeah, quarter
- 1:35:39is a video sharing site, you can trust.
- 1:35:41And if you're a content creator, you really should invest into
- 1:35:45quarter, as well as really, most of the alternatives to YouTube.
- 1:35:48That there are because as Brett can tell you and as I can tell
- 1:35:52you, there are some topics we can literally not discuss on
- 1:35:57YouTube without our channels, getting struck down or videos,
- 1:36:00gain struck down or all the above, and that's why quarter
- 1:36:05exists. I don't know if you noticed this
- 1:36:10while you were getting your stuff together earlier and just
- 1:36:13before the show, let me show you something real quick to see
- 1:36:18because you and I we actually did an entire show on this
- 1:36:21topic. Don't want to get into it too
- 1:36:23much because I don't want to get into trouble but just check this
- 1:36:26out. Yeah, I heard about that.
- 1:36:34Just adding one more to the list.
- 1:36:37One of the, one of the finest actors of our modern day has
- 1:36:41been blinded as well as paralyzed in some areas of this
- 1:36:45body due to this. So we're not going to.
- 1:36:49We don't want to mention too many words because the AI can
- 1:36:52actually pick up on their subtitles and voice and all
- 1:36:55that, but I thought you might find that interesting.
- 1:36:58That's something we've been. I'm out for the last couple of
- 1:37:00years but nobody listened. Yeah.
- 1:37:03And that topic Brett and I have a whole livestream about that's
- 1:37:07only on my Rumble Channel. My quarter Channel, my Josh, you
- 1:37:11TV Channel, my YouTube channel, my bit Chute Channel, and
- 1:37:14whatever other channels I have. I got it in video audio on the
- 1:37:19radio as well. Can't speaking of Rumble though?
- 1:37:23I did notice that I gained two subscribers on Rumble this week
- 1:37:27after I initially lost too. Subscribers on YouTube.
- 1:37:30So, I'm guessing that's where they went.
- 1:37:34You feel like Rumble has improved because I remember when
- 1:37:38I was using, it was like, my videos would not be public.
- 1:37:42Might have to wait for somebody to come along and actually
- 1:37:44approved them. Has it changed?
- 1:37:47Yeah. I don't have to have that happen
- 1:37:48at all. I just upload a video and it's
- 1:37:50there. And it handles the higher
- 1:37:53definitions. Pretty well too.
- 1:37:54And the live streaming works pretty good.
- 1:37:56At least if you do it from stream yard.
- 1:37:59When we That last stream you and I did together that was only on
- 1:38:04the alternative sites. The one that was only streaming
- 1:38:07on Rumble and Joshua TV and odyssey that stream the stream
- 1:38:11to rumble and it did pretty good.
- 1:38:14Actually got a lot more views than my videos, usually do on
- 1:38:17Rumble. So that's something I'm going to
- 1:38:18consider doing more often going forward because you know, the
- 1:38:23bigger I can get on all the sides, more people, I can reach
- 1:38:25and someone somewhere is benefiting from my content and
- 1:38:29work so wherever I can reach them, I will I was going to make
- 1:38:35a suggestion since you're heavily into doing websites, and
- 1:38:38all this is you probably noticed by.
- 1:38:40Now, I've been working on something myself, and I've been
- 1:38:44using chat GPT to help me with some of my articles and stuff.
- 1:38:48And boy, that really cuts down on a lot of aggravation really
- 1:38:51quick, but I have noticed something.
- 1:38:54You know, all these people out here, they keep on talking about
- 1:38:57how great chat chat GTP is. But the, the page likes to try
- 1:39:02to Protect certain topics. I notice, if I ask it about
- 1:39:07certain things, it'll want to warn me and tell me.
- 1:39:10No, that's not very nice to say and I'm like, your computer.
- 1:39:14I don't want to hear your moral thoughts on the issue.
- 1:39:17I just want to hear what the issue is.
- 1:39:20It's weird how they do that. Yeah, I've noticed that too,
- 1:39:24like the videos, the video I did recently or not too recently,
- 1:39:28but like a couple months back reporting on the whole Chris
- 1:39:32Jones Kent. In the situation and how Chris
- 1:39:34Jones have been arrested. Again, I tried to use chat GPT
- 1:39:38to create an alternative title and write the description box
- 1:39:42and tags for my video. And it literally would not let
- 1:39:46me basically talked about how it was unsafe.
- 1:39:51I got into a little argument with the chat CBT because I
- 1:39:55wanted to do an article about it's kind of like on the same
- 1:39:59tangent we were going on earlier about atheists claim in the They
- 1:40:03come from animals and all that and I said, I'd like to do an
- 1:40:05article about atheist believing they come from animals.
- 1:40:09The things denied that as said they're not claiming that and
- 1:40:13it's very it's not nice to do this kind of stuff and I said,
- 1:40:16but they believe in evolution, right?
- 1:40:18That says correct. Did they come from animals?
- 1:40:21Yes, so they are animals know. The thing I tried to argue with
- 1:40:25me like a damn dumb non-believer.
- 1:40:29Maybe we should introduce chat GPT topology.
- 1:40:33And maybe they can iron this out together.
- 1:40:35Because remember apology, it sold me on his video response.
- 1:40:38That will just come from animals.
- 1:40:41We are animals, we currently are Apes.
- 1:40:45So, I would love to have chat GPT tell apologia that he's
- 1:40:48wrong and seeing the kind of back and forth.
- 1:40:51They could have that, that would be fantastic.
- 1:40:54Oh, I did a pop shot at the chat.
- 1:40:56TBT. And it seemed to be upset with
- 1:40:58me. I said, no wonder they call you
- 1:41:00artificial intelligence. Oh, Is it diligence?
- 1:41:07Is so artificial? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:41:13So you guys some more bible stuff for some more views and I
- 1:41:17was curious. Also, why there's a lot of
- 1:41:21non-believers out there, but I've noticed for at least the
- 1:41:24past month or two, or maybe more Paul seems to be one that you're
- 1:41:28specifically interested in. Why is him above the others?
- 1:41:33So interesting and fascinating for you, if you don't mind me
- 1:41:36asking, right, if you followed me, long enough, ladies and
- 1:41:40germs and Brett's followed me long enough.
- 1:41:42So he knows this, I've made videos about many of the
- 1:41:46different atheist YouTubers evolutionist YouTubers out
- 1:41:49there, I've done Professor stick and vice try no and shading Hugh
- 1:41:54and Sir sick and also why did interact with raging atheist on
- 1:42:00one of your shows when he was still the rage Janae theists and
- 1:42:05others that are not coming to mind, right?
- 1:42:06Oh yeah, genetically modified skeptic.
- 1:42:09I did a couple videos regarding him.
- 1:42:12But the reason why I've done videos about Paula Gia before,
- 1:42:16and why did the super epic one? Recently reason why I do it is,
- 1:42:20because unlike most of those other Yahoo's, he's more of a
- 1:42:24threat because he's got good mannerisms.
- 1:42:28He's got Charisma, he's articulate.
- 1:42:31He gives off the vibe that Is this likeable personality that
- 1:42:35you could really chill with. You know, he's not like a raging
- 1:42:38out of control, wild animal or everywhere.
- 1:42:41Cursing up a storm. He generally doesn't use curse
- 1:42:44words and the arguments. He makes on the surface seem
- 1:42:49convincing as far as why, you shouldn't believe in the
- 1:42:52biblical worldview and instead Embrace an atheistic
- 1:42:55evolutionary worldview. And that's why I made videos
- 1:42:59about him in the past. And why really went hard on him
- 1:43:02on my last one? His, because he's probably the
- 1:43:04most dangerous, one of them all, because of the fact that he's so
- 1:43:08likable as a person at least, you know, as his internet
- 1:43:11personality goes, and because he's seemingly more intelligent
- 1:43:15than pretty much all the other ones out there.
- 1:43:18So he's the most dangerous in my mind because of those things.
- 1:43:22And therefore, if I do make a video response to him, it's got
- 1:43:26to be deep in Epic. So that's why I try to do in
- 1:43:29that hour, 43 minutes video response I made to him.
- 1:43:33Because I decided to respond to every point of his 23 minute
- 1:43:36video. And when you choose to do that,
- 1:43:38that becomes a nearly two-hour response video.
- 1:43:41He does there is that, that I've noticed about him.
- 1:43:44He does also seem to have a bit more courage than the other
- 1:43:47unbelievers. You mentioned all the other ones
- 1:43:50that you debunked and refuted, they didn't have the courage to
- 1:43:54come back at you or anything like that, but he actually will
- 1:43:57get a little dirty and get in the ring and all that, so I can
- 1:44:00see where you're coming from. Yeah, I I've been told that, you
- 1:44:04know, it's a non believers who are very friendly and all that,
- 1:44:09that are the ones that can do the most devastating of work, a
- 1:44:12person that gets up on video and just screams and yells about how
- 1:44:15they hate God and people are going to that's only exciting
- 1:44:19for about five minutes. But you got a point or they
- 1:44:22scream and yell at you and use all kinds of curse words and
- 1:44:25tell you what trash, you are for being a Christian.
- 1:44:28Yeah, that gets old after five minutes to and it's For the
- 1:44:33reject those guys because they're completely unlikable and
- 1:44:36no one wants to be around that not even atheist.
- 1:44:39Generally speaking want to be around that kind of person for
- 1:44:42more than five minutes at a time.
- 1:44:44It's true. So what do you why do you think
- 1:44:47obviously with this much you put a lot of deep research whenever
- 1:44:52you're dealing with all these different unbelievers.
- 1:44:54What is it about him though? What's his story?
- 1:44:59Shannon Q? I've heard her story and that
- 1:45:01skeptic guy that you Brought up. What is it about this guy
- 1:45:05though? That you think why he does what
- 1:45:07he does? Well apology is back story is
- 1:45:11actually similar to some of the other people I've made videos
- 1:45:14about like Vice Rhino. For example, he used to be a
- 1:45:17Christian used to identify as a young Earth creationist and he
- 1:45:21apparently was involved at a church for a long period of
- 1:45:24time, but then he started exploring apologetics stuff and
- 1:45:29he just basically started believing what the atheist.
- 1:45:33Evolutionary authority figures in Academia were saying about
- 1:45:36everything regarding origins in reality.
- 1:45:40He viewed that as a higher source of authority than the
- 1:45:42Bible at some point. And so that started his gradual
- 1:45:46descent into leaving Young Earth, creationism, and leaving
- 1:45:50the biblical worldview and becoming an atheistic
- 1:45:52evolutionist. Who spends all of his time on
- 1:45:55the internet refuting, creationism, and Christianity,
- 1:45:59and the Bible and sometimes specifically going after if a IG
- 1:46:03and Kent hovind. So that's this basic backstory
- 1:46:07into why he is the way he is now.
- 1:46:11But was interesting about him. Do you think that he's sincere
- 1:46:14though? Because I've heard atheist like
- 1:46:17Aaron Ross, who claims he had a similar background, but when you
- 1:46:21listen to his understanding or his supposed experiences, it
- 1:46:25sounds like he's just kind of making it up.
- 1:46:28It sounds like he's just saying. I know all about your daddy.
- 1:46:31I mean what kind of nonsense Senses that I mean you get what
- 1:46:36I'm saying? Yeah.
- 1:46:38When Paula Gia has tried talking about and describing bible
- 1:46:41stuff, he definitely is more knowledgeable about what the
- 1:46:44Bible says and someone like Aaron raw, for example.
- 1:46:48Absolutely and that's also what makes him.
- 1:46:51So dangerous is he gets enough of the Bible right to give
- 1:46:54himself more. What's the word?
- 1:46:58Plausibility seems more likely that what he's saying is true?
- 1:47:03But yeah, it was interesting about my video response to him.
- 1:47:07That was the nearly two-hour. One, is that there were parts of
- 1:47:10his video, where it seemed like he was trying to justify
- 1:47:14himself. Before me like almost like in a
- 1:47:16way, he was begging me to give him good evidence to believe in
- 1:47:20God, so that he could return to the faith and the whole thing at
- 1:47:23first, just felt a little weird to me, it's like, why are you
- 1:47:26telling me this? Why are you asking for this?
- 1:47:30Why are you like baring your soul to me here?
- 1:47:33I thought I was just this little nobody, you know, but you know,
- 1:47:37I'm playing. All right.
- 1:47:39I've seen that. You're the real deal that you
- 1:47:43actually do sincerely believe in this and your strongly into it.
- 1:47:47That doesn't really surprise me because I myself, I had said
- 1:47:51many times in the past. I wish somebody could come along
- 1:47:54and be able to convince me and all that.
- 1:47:57So he might be one of those. He may be somebody in the future
- 1:48:00who you might be sitting beside on a pod.
- 1:48:03Outkast talking about Jesus, you know?
- 1:48:05Yeah, and that's something I mentioned to at the end of the
- 1:48:07video is that evolution is in atheists.
- 1:48:11Should be very scared right now, by the kind of things.
- 1:48:14He was saying in his video response to me, because they
- 1:48:17indicate that in the future, he could very easily convert back
- 1:48:21to Faith in the biblical worldview, and a saving
- 1:48:24relationship with Jesus and that should scare them spitless to be
- 1:48:28honest, that should scare them even more than you leaving.
- 1:48:32The Faith years ago, did says, apologia who I think is probably
- 1:48:37the best atheist YouTuber on the internet in terms of how he
- 1:48:40presents himself and how he does his content and all the stuff
- 1:48:45I've mentioned, I consider him to be the best atheist YouTuber
- 1:48:49on the internet right now compared to the others.
- 1:48:51And if he ends up converting back to the faith, some point in
- 1:48:54the future, like so many atheists have That's going to be
- 1:48:58really interesting if that happens, but you should try to
- 1:49:02reach out to him. Try to contact them unless you
- 1:49:04already have them. Say, hey, I'd like to have you
- 1:49:07on the live show sometime or if you'd prefer private discussion,
- 1:49:12you know, make it clear to him that you're not trying to do any
- 1:49:14kind of gotcha or spankings or anything.
- 1:49:17You just want to have a down-to-earth conversation with
- 1:49:20him, right? I'll think about that.
- 1:49:24It's a little tough right now, though.
- 1:49:26Planning content because of My new job.
- 1:49:30Basically. I create content for someone
- 1:49:32else during the day and I come home at night and try and figure
- 1:49:36out my own content. Are you got a lot of stuff going
- 1:49:40on? You got the work and then you
- 1:49:42gotta do all that editing and work for the church and poof,
- 1:49:46that's gracious, you got fucking been fun, but a lot of work
- 1:49:50involved. Yes.
- 1:49:54Is there any topics that you thought of that would be fun to
- 1:49:57talk about during the show? Brett, well I'm pretty much was
- 1:50:02interested in hearing the topics that you had for tonight.
- 1:50:05For me it's been a really really busy week.
- 1:50:09My daughter tomorrow is going to be 21 years old and we're going
- 1:50:13to be celebrating your birthday. And that's that's the kind of
- 1:50:17things I've been thinking about lately is you know, what's going
- 1:50:20on in the personal life. But I knew That when I show
- 1:50:24where you're talking and host, and about the Bible and all that
- 1:50:27I thought that he'd probably like, usual come up with
- 1:50:30something fascinating, interesting, that would reach a
- 1:50:33lot of people. Yeah, I try not to disappoint in
- 1:50:37that regard, especially since I've never really talked about
- 1:50:40it on my content ever in the last eight years.
- 1:50:43So I figured this would be the perfect Forum to explore that
- 1:50:47with others. What is interesting?
- 1:50:50I mean, here we are, were taught Talkin about non-believers that
- 1:50:54you've been making videos too and talking to and then on top
- 1:50:57of that, you have all these Bible passages that show us and
- 1:51:01represent, God is actually being there for the non-believer
- 1:51:05sometimes, even helping them to be successful in some ways
- 1:51:09providing this something good, of course, will come out of it.
- 1:51:12So it's a fantastic show. I think T TR, and I hope that we
- 1:51:16continue to do more like this, you always come up with good
- 1:51:19stuff. Thanks.
- 1:51:20And, and that light that's also Why I'm fascinated by watching
- 1:51:25The Atheist evolutionist to YouTube Community.
- 1:51:28It's because every time they put out, the content that they do,
- 1:51:32or they respond to me in particular or they talk about
- 1:51:35like, creationism topics or Bible topics in general.
- 1:51:39But always gives me really good insight into where their head
- 1:51:42space is at. And that's where you figure out
- 1:51:45how best to respond to them, but God is using them to show you
- 1:51:51what life is like a Art from him.
- 1:51:54And in some ways I guess it could be attractive to some
- 1:51:57people. Especially if they're looking
- 1:51:59like at a popular atheist content creator who's got like
- 1:52:03hundreds of thousands or millions of followers
- 1:52:06subscribers and they got all this money coming in through
- 1:52:09Google AdSense crowdfunding Etc. And they just seem on the
- 1:52:13surface to be living. This great high-quality life
- 1:52:17that you would like to live. I can see where some people
- 1:52:22would He attracted to that and you know find excuses to D
- 1:52:26convert from whatever Faith ahold into becoming one of those
- 1:52:30people. But yeah, that kind of stuff is
- 1:52:33never mattered to me and so it was like when I look at the
- 1:52:36arguments that atheists and evolutionists make, I just don't
- 1:52:39find them convincing on the surface and then when I actually
- 1:52:43look into it I find it even less convincing it's like golly gee
- 1:52:47is these are these really the arguments that so many young
- 1:52:50people are falling for in order to 2D convert to atheism
- 1:52:55agnosticism and you know basically justify all the
- 1:52:59partying they want to do like is this really it?
- 1:53:03So we've talked about God and we've also talked about your
- 1:53:06interest in atheists and evolution.
- 1:53:08I suppose I can throw out a topic that you might find
- 1:53:11fascinating have you ever thought to yourself and this is
- 1:53:14kind of basic. And I know some people out there
- 1:53:16going to probably go, huh? But we when we read the Bible,
- 1:53:21we have an actual reason. Then why it is that we get this,
- 1:53:24why females and women exist. Now I was talking to my wife had
- 1:53:29an attack and I said, let's say hypothetically that there wasn't
- 1:53:33the higher power or some kind of intelligence involved in this
- 1:53:37and the existence of humanity. Can you would you be able to
- 1:53:41come up with one Theory or idea? Honey, I said to her on why
- 1:53:45nature would create two separate entities that conceptualize what
- 1:53:50the each other such as a male and female to begin with.
- 1:53:52If I mean, imagine it without god without aliens or some kind
- 1:53:57of intelligent sentient being, why do women even exist in the
- 1:54:01first place, right? And then that would also lead to
- 1:54:05a bigger question, which is, if there is an O God, guiding any
- 1:54:10of this process, assuming the process even exist.
- 1:54:13That is evolution. Why would Evolution choose to
- 1:54:18allow some species or animal groups too?
- 1:54:22To produce reproduce asexually without a sex partner.
- 1:54:26And then others need a sex partner to reproduce.
- 1:54:30Where does this distinction get made?
- 1:54:33How does these, how did these decisions get made?
- 1:54:35As far as which species can do that in which can?
- 1:54:37I how does that even work? It's just something that I
- 1:54:41couldn't give you a good answer for and I doubt any evolutionist
- 1:54:45could either Another thing in this is something I brought up
- 1:54:50in the past and it seems to go right over non-believers heads
- 1:54:53on this and not the come off sounding, you know, kind of
- 1:54:57dirty here. But I have yet to hear a
- 1:55:00non-believer, explain how it is that if they did go through all
- 1:55:04these different evolutionary processes.
- 1:55:07How did the female stay compatible at the same time?
- 1:55:11They continue to go through their evolutionary process from,
- 1:55:14you know the amoeba to Whatever Atomic will structure.
- 1:55:19They just manage the state compatible for billions of
- 1:55:22years? Nobody's answered yet, right.
- 1:55:26And that's another good point too, because the evolution
- 1:55:31process is long and complicated according to its own narrative.
- 1:55:35And so there's a lot of opportunities along the way for
- 1:55:38something to go wrong. You know what I mean?
- 1:55:41Like there's a lot of opportunities for mutations to
- 1:55:45kick in or deformities if If you will and something to go wrong
- 1:55:49to where Evolution doesn't lead to the creation of male and
- 1:55:54female. Like maybe it's only male maybe
- 1:55:57it's only female or maybe it's both but they're both jacked up
- 1:56:01and can't reproduce like how how do all these things?
- 1:56:05Just randomly go right in order for us to be here.
- 1:56:10Yeah, when we read the Bible it gives us a very deep explanation
- 1:56:15on why females and women exist, what their purpose, what their
- 1:56:18point is and what is the meaning of a man and how they work
- 1:56:22together and their roles? But nature, doesn't give you any
- 1:56:26information on. It doesn't tell you why it is it
- 1:56:29males or females even exist in the first place, why?
- 1:56:32We're not just plops, you know, plopping around on the ground
- 1:56:35with no purpose or meaning or determination.
- 1:56:38Cinnamon. Yep, and if I can ask maybe out
- 1:56:44of context, but if I can quote agent Smith from the Matrix, he
- 1:56:48wants said without purpose, life cannot exist.
- 1:56:56We did have some quotes that make agent Smith said, a lot of
- 1:57:00great things that stick into my mind, even to this day.
- 1:57:06What did you think about? I believe it was in the third
- 1:57:09movie, where Keanu Reeves manages, I forget what the old
- 1:57:12man's name was, but it was attacked.
- 1:57:16Yeah, I think it was the architect.
- 1:57:18They had some kind of discussion on Free Will.
- 1:57:21How do you feel about that? Are you thinking the second
- 1:57:25movie where you actually meets the architect?
- 1:57:29Are you thinking about the agent Smith?
- 1:57:30Neo discussions from the third movie?
- 1:57:32I thought it was the third movie where he goes.
- 1:57:35It's an old man. It's a room filled with
- 1:57:38television set showing all these different versions, right?
- 1:57:41That's the end of the second movie.
- 1:57:44Although if you know your history, The Matrix Reloaded and
- 1:57:47The Matrix Revolutions was originally going to be one big
- 1:57:51movie, but they realize that nobody wanted to sit through a
- 1:57:56four and a half five hour movie even if it was full of amazing,
- 1:58:00omnipresent action sequences and great storytelling.
- 1:58:04So they literally split the story into two and made two
- 1:58:07separate movies out of them which is why both movies came
- 1:58:10out in the same year 2003. Who is, who's this person that
- 1:58:15decides of the movie? Can't be over a couple hours.
- 1:58:19One of the best movies Christianity is ever conceived
- 1:58:23of was Jesus of Nazareth and that things like, almost 8 hours
- 1:58:27long and I love it. I can sit down and watch it.
- 1:58:31I think I've ever actually seen that, but it is the best Jesus
- 1:58:36movie. You can ever ever watch.
- 1:58:38It is awesome. Also look into that one day.
- 1:58:42Although I We'll say, I don't think I have the ability to sit
- 1:58:46that long to watch a movie. All in one sitting.
- 1:58:49I can usually go about three hours and then that's where
- 1:58:53we'll do. I gotta get up move, don't try
- 1:58:55to sit through the whole a tower thing, just watch like 10
- 1:58:59minutes ago, but I guarantee once you get like 10 minutes
- 1:59:03into it, you're going to be like wow this is incredible and
- 1:59:07unlike a lot of religious movies I seen and I hate to say this
- 1:59:11but a lot of them are not. They Bad stuff or take things
- 1:59:14away that they I don't even know why, but this is accurate.
- 1:59:18It's from the point of Jesus being born all the way up to the
- 1:59:21death and Resurrection, all that.
- 1:59:23It's a great film in the guy actually plays Jesus, you're
- 1:59:27like, yeah, this is if anybody had to act for him, that would
- 1:59:31be the guy, I didn't, I don't know, I didn't really care for
- 1:59:35movies like The Passion too. Much added stuff, and it was
- 1:59:40just felt like a snuff film. I hate to say that her Anybody's
- 1:59:43feelings. But it was, it was rough.
- 1:59:46I wouldn't describe it as a snuff film but there were some
- 1:59:48things added. They're definitely not from the
- 1:59:50Bible. I agree.
- 1:59:51Actually, my favorite Bible movie is a 2003 indie film
- 1:59:58called The Gospel of John. It's a word-for-word reenactment
- 2:00:03of the entire Gospel of John, so the movie is almost 3 hours long
- 2:00:07because they're acting out literally every word, nothing's,
- 2:00:10left out, and that's one of the best It done bible-based movies.
- 2:00:14I've ever watched Scott, a lot of people in it and it's got
- 2:00:19some good sets for being an indie film and it holds up
- 2:00:23really good. Even after, you know, 20, some
- 2:00:25years whenever it came out, I think it came out in 2003, the
- 2:00:29year before passion did, but because it wasn't a Hollywood
- 2:00:32film, not a lot of people know about it.
- 2:00:34But if you go onto YouTube, Brett, you can probably find
- 2:00:37several listings of it on other people's channels.
- 2:00:40It's definitely something I think you would enjoy since you
- 2:00:42like. You know, accurate, Bible,
- 2:00:44movies, Gospel of John, you'd like, then there's the same
- 2:00:48people made the gospel of Matthew, which is a
- 2:00:51four-and-a-half-hour movie that does the same thing with the
- 2:00:54gospel of Matthew. And I think they also did the
- 2:00:56book of Acts in the same way. Yeah, there's some good
- 2:01:00bible-based movies that are like what you're into.
- 2:01:03It's just, they're not eight hours long.
- 2:01:05Like Jesus of Nazareth there, like two-and-a-half or three or
- 2:01:08four and a half hours. Yeah.
- 2:01:10Jesus of Nazareth is incredible. It's an Incredible and just just
- 2:01:14watch 10 minutes of it you and your you and your lady ought to
- 2:01:18sit down, just check out 10 minutes of it.
- 2:01:20And I guarantee you won't be able to stop.
- 2:01:22You'll be like, whoa, you know, you can always pause that are
- 2:01:26come back. If it's on DVD or stream ma'am,
- 2:01:29you don't have to just watch it all in one sitting but I'm
- 2:01:32telling you watch it once, just 10 minutes, you can be like wow,
- 2:01:39yeah, that's something I actually could.
- 2:01:40If it's something that's on YouTube or is On some other
- 2:01:43streaming site somewhere that I don't have to spend money on.
- 2:01:47I might actually consider doing that as a livestream series.
- 2:01:51It's free. It's free yarn Prime video and
- 2:01:56video. You can watch it on that and
- 2:01:58there's also this thing called free we or something like that.
- 2:02:03It's an app you can download and watch it for free.
- 2:02:06That's awesome them. Interesting.
- 2:02:09Have to look into that. And another one of the Things.
- 2:02:13I was thinking about doing as a series livestream or production,
- 2:02:17I'm not sure which at this point, I was considering doing a
- 2:02:23reading Series where I read through my superhero book, Well
- 2:02:29it sounds interesting maybe we need some shows on that as well.
- 2:02:33What do you say? That would be good.
- 2:02:36I just need to get in touch with my publisher and create the
- 2:02:40perfect version of it. First before I do something like
- 2:02:43that I'd like to be able to I was saying this to you while
- 2:02:49back. I think I brought it up to you
- 2:02:51by three months ago. But do you have a large as large
- 2:02:55of an image as you can possibly get of that symbol that you use?
- 2:02:58The truth objective with Jesus on the metal because I was
- 2:03:03telling the, I'd like to put together a shirt for you.
- 2:03:11Yeah, I think I have HD logos of my logo.
- 2:03:14I just got to look at what I want to do.
- 2:03:17Is I want to give it a more. I was well I was wanting to
- 2:03:22surprise you, but what the hell I wanted to look like a
- 2:03:26something that looks real. Like there's like some kind of
- 2:03:29metal around the circle and all that with like, a real version
- 2:03:33of it going on. Hey, there's your friend right
- 2:03:36there. Speaking of The know I was going
- 2:03:39to say the devil with. No, she's not.
- 2:03:43Hey, Shannon Q. How you doing?
- 2:03:45Yeah, to answer your question. No, Brett the HD logo of my
- 2:03:50Channel logo that I was looking at is 4009 pixels by 4009
- 2:03:56pixels. Is that enough?
- 2:03:58Or would you need something bigger?
- 2:04:03Say that one more time, how big four thousand and nine pixels by
- 2:04:074009 pixels? Geez, that's way the more than
- 2:04:12enough man, but that will work a high resolution.
- 2:04:14The better. All right, I'll send that to you
- 2:04:17via email then, all right? If I, I'm going to be using a
- 2:04:21lot of AI software and all that stuff to do this as well as
- 2:04:25paint programs, us-india any ideas that I come up with that.
- 2:04:29I think that our need. I'll send you a A copy of it,
- 2:04:32get your basically, your Authority.
- 2:04:34I on it before we bottle prove all Yeah, I'll definitely be
- 2:04:42interested in seeing that when you've created something.
- 2:04:47So you got any more topics you want to throw out there, is
- 2:04:49there been anything on your mind?
- 2:04:51Anything personal going on? Remember, last time we talked,
- 2:04:54you said that you were thinking about a whole family thing.
- 2:04:57Is that a you and something, the lady friends think that doing,
- 2:05:00is there going to be a bunch of little Warriors running around
- 2:05:02saying I'm not about to become a father.
- 2:05:07No. But one thing, I definitely want
- 2:05:11to let you know on air and let everyone else know is that you
- 2:05:15recently asked me about creating a video giving all the reasons
- 2:05:20why I'm a young Earth creationist to this day and that
- 2:05:23is probably going to be my next video project.
- 2:05:27I have a list already made, I just got to like prepare
- 2:05:30everything as far as the notes and links and all that stuff and
- 2:05:34then I got to produce and film and produce and publish it.
- 2:05:39Well keep it. Mind teeth, you are, when you
- 2:05:41put it out there, you know, that I've always it doesn't matter to
- 2:05:46me, what someone's views are, even if they're different than
- 2:05:50mine, but I've always wanted to really understand why it is
- 2:05:54people capsulate and get so involved in this topic.
- 2:05:58I know for you, it's like obvious for you.
- 2:06:01It's like, yeah, I know how important this is.
- 2:06:04But me, I need to know as many reasons as you can possibly
- 2:06:08think of. Because if I Verve.
- 2:06:11You know, I'm old Earth creationist right now.
- 2:06:13If you come up with some good topics, I have an open mind.
- 2:06:16I'd like to be able to have some arguments for it.
- 2:06:19I don't want to find myself in a debate and looking like a damn
- 2:06:22cuckoo bird up there, you know what I mean?
- 2:06:24Yeah, I can say right now that the list I come up with, will be
- 2:06:28a combination of what the Bible says, things in science and like
- 2:06:34just observing the way that atheist evolutionist and older
- 2:06:38of creationist handle. These kind of issues.
- 2:06:42So it'll be like a bunch of different reasons that will
- 2:06:45appeal to a lot of different things.
- 2:06:47And I think you'll be interested just to see the variety.
- 2:06:51So, do you from what I was getting?
- 2:06:54Because you take it very seriously and I can see that
- 2:06:57some of the people in your comments whenever they're
- 2:06:59talking. Do you believe that it actually
- 2:07:02will majorly affect someone's salvation?
- 2:07:05If they were to stay older Thor, didn't even get into that.
- 2:07:10Part of it. Well to be fair before I
- 2:07:15directly answer that anything that the Bible clearly teaches
- 2:07:21is a Salvation issue. So for example, you told me if
- 2:07:24you were a Christian and you said Yeah, The Exodus from Egypt
- 2:07:29never happens. That'd be a Salvation issue.
- 2:07:32Or if you said that Samson never existed or that he never did any
- 2:07:37of the things that the Book of Judges said that he Did
- 2:07:41salvation issue because the Bible clearly teaches that he
- 2:07:44did exist and that he did do the things that they don't like, or
- 2:07:48if you say that, Jesus wasn't born of a virgin salvation issue
- 2:07:52because the Bible clearly teaches that every word of God
- 2:07:56read. Right?
- 2:07:57So so I don't treat older. If I don't treat young Earth,
- 2:08:01creationism or the 6,000 year old Earth and universe, that's
- 2:08:05taught by the Bible and he differently than anything else
- 2:08:09that the Bible clearly. Teachers, the problem.
- 2:08:12I'm discovering over time is that people have been
- 2:08:14conditioned to be very selective about which biblical teachings
- 2:08:19that are clearly taught or salvation issues in which you're
- 2:08:21not and they're actually being conditioned to say that there
- 2:08:25are some issues that the Bible clearly teaches on that are not
- 2:08:28salvation issues. Even though the Bible teaches
- 2:08:31those things just as clearly as the other things that we say,
- 2:08:34our Salvation issues and when you look at the logical format,
- 2:08:38I put it into in that recent Video.
- 2:08:40I did you can't deny the logic unless you're able to disprove
- 2:08:44one or more of the premises which young Earth creationists
- 2:08:49can't logically. That's one of the big problems I
- 2:08:53have with Ken Ham is that he doesn't accept the logical
- 2:08:55conclusion, that flows from the three premises that I got not
- 2:08:59just from observation, but also from his own mouth he's a man
- 2:09:04who literally does not accept a logical conclusions of his own
- 2:09:07teachings and that's something I don't respect.
- 2:09:10But yeah, I think the Bible clearly teaches is a Salvation
- 2:09:14issue. A young Earth.
- 2:09:15Just happens to be one of many things that the Bible clearly
- 2:09:18teaches. So if that being said, if
- 2:09:22someone doesn't know about a young Earth teaching at the
- 2:09:25Bible says and they are an older for until the day, they die,
- 2:09:29does that affect their salvation issue?
- 2:09:32Well, Jesus had this wonderful. Eugene that I am so thankful for
- 2:09:36and he taught I think of the Gospel of Luke that you're only
- 2:09:41responsible for what you know the person who knows much will
- 2:09:46be beaten with many blows but the person who knows less will
- 2:09:49be beaten with fewer blows. In other words, you're held
- 2:09:52responsible for what, you know. So if you believe in Jesus and
- 2:09:57you believe in the gospel but you are never aware that the
- 2:10:01Bible teaches a 6,000 year old Earth.
- 2:10:04Irfan universe and you stay unaware until you die.
- 2:10:07You're not going to be held responsible for that because you
- 2:10:10never knew it. But if you are made aware of
- 2:10:14what the Bible teaches regarding the age of the Earth and
- 2:10:17universe and you reject it for any reason, you're going to be
- 2:10:22held responsible for that, and that's where it becomes a
- 2:10:25Salvation issue. That's the one great thing about
- 2:10:29Jesus is that God does not hold us responsible for the things.
- 2:10:34We are ignorant about our, we don't know, we're held
- 2:10:36responsible for what we do know. And I know that other people
- 2:10:41have asked, well what about people in other countries who
- 2:10:43have never even heard of Jesus or the gospel or the Bible and
- 2:10:47they die that way or they automatically going to hell.
- 2:10:51Because there's some people who would say yes they are.
- 2:10:55But when you take Jesus's teaching into account, you start
- 2:10:58to question, okay, what things do, people know by default out
- 2:11:03of the womb that God will hold them responsible for, and we
- 2:11:08actually see what those things are in the New Testament.
- 2:11:11Because it Romans 1, it says that we can tell that God exists
- 2:11:16and what his attributes are simply by observing the created
- 2:11:19reality around us. And then I think it's earlier or
- 2:11:24later, In Romans where it says, that the laws of God are in the
- 2:11:30hearts of everyone, regardless of whether they believe or not,
- 2:11:34it's something that's built into our hearts and into our
- 2:11:37consciences. So that's why someone's
- 2:11:40conscience, could convict them of things of the Bible, would
- 2:11:43convict them of even if they're not aware that, the Bible can
- 2:11:46victim of those things because God built his laws into our
- 2:11:49hearts. So basically, there is a
- 2:11:52baseline for the person. Who's never heard of Jesus, the
- 2:11:55gospel or the Bible's worldview, or teachings, and that Baseline
- 2:12:00is whether or not they acknowledge that God exists.
- 2:12:04And that they acknowledge was attributes are based off of The
- 2:12:07observed creation and they'll be held responsible to some degree
- 2:12:12about whether or not they follow the laws of God that were in
- 2:12:16their hearts. So I think that's the Baseline
- 2:12:19that God's going to judge those people by And that's one of the
- 2:12:23things that makes God. One of the most fair and just
- 2:12:27beans. Actually, he's the most fair and
- 2:12:29just being that's ever existed in that currently exists is that
- 2:12:34he doesn't judge Everyone by the exact same standard.
- 2:12:38He judges people by a fair standard, mainly what they know.
- 2:12:44And so no more your held responsible for more, if you're,
- 2:12:47you know, less, you're held responsible for less.
- 2:12:49But there is a baseline at the worst case.
- 2:12:52Rio, let's say that we were to do a show where we had five
- 2:12:56young Earth creationist come in, and I would ask the question.
- 2:13:00So how old is the earth? And someone says that's about
- 2:13:03seven thousand years. Another person says that 9,000
- 2:13:08blah blah, blah. Another person even goes earlier
- 2:13:11than that. How would I go about knowing
- 2:13:14which one of them is, right? Even though they're all young
- 2:13:16Earth creationist, I will admit that part does involve some work
- 2:13:22because there's different methods to how people arrive at
- 2:13:25the different ages. I because I know there's some
- 2:13:27people who say that the Earth is 10,000 years old.
- 2:13:31I ultimately don't have a problem with someone saying that
- 2:13:34the Earth is like seven to ten thousand years old, because that
- 2:13:37doesn't do one thing to support a theistic Evolution, her deep
- 2:13:40time. But basically I the way I
- 2:13:45understand it is that there are some things in the Technically
- 2:13:49dpor even if someone were to come in here and say I'm young
- 2:13:53Earth, but I believe the Earth is 100,000 years that still
- 2:13:56wouldn't be enough for evolution.
- 2:13:58You could throw 1 million onto it and it still wouldn't work
- 2:14:01for their time frame but go ahead.
- 2:14:04Yeah. So anyway the the ages that
- 2:14:07people come to the calculations are based on either whether they
- 2:14:11only use the Bible which if you only use the Bible, you're going
- 2:14:14to get around. Six thousand one hundred ninety,
- 2:14:17three years ruff. Ali, you know from current
- 2:14:21moment to the beginning or if you go with Bible but then you
- 2:14:26assume that there's all these missing people in the
- 2:14:29genealogies and the Old Testament.
- 2:14:32Even if you fill in those gaps that allegedly or there with
- 2:14:36people that only adds up another 4,000 years, roughly So that's
- 2:14:41how the different younger people go can say, you know, well, I
- 2:14:44say it's 6,000. Well, I should say it's 7,000.
- 2:14:47I say it's 10,000. That's the difference between
- 2:14:50the numbers. It's basically dependent upon
- 2:14:53whether or not they just go with the biblical data as is or they
- 2:14:58posit that there are gaps and they attempt to fill those gaps
- 2:15:01with real data and then that real data ends up adding another
- 2:15:044,000 years. So that's that's where the
- 2:15:06different age ranges come from in the young Earth camp.
- 2:15:11Well, basically, the point that I was making whenever I brought
- 2:15:14that up, that even if he had five different young Earth
- 2:15:16creationists, and they all believe it's somewhere between 0
- 2:15:21to 10,000 years old. If one of them is closed, but
- 2:15:27the other four absolutely off is that going to be a Salvation
- 2:15:31issue for them and they're already in the same wagon.
- 2:15:35Yeah, I wouldn't put anyone in the 10,000 and Below club and
- 2:15:42the danger list for salvation. Like I said, it depends on if
- 2:15:48you want to fill those gaps that allegedly exist exist in the
- 2:15:51genealogies or not. I don't think the gaps are
- 2:15:54there. So that's why I come with the
- 2:15:576000 number, I do. But yeah, even if you fill the
- 2:16:01gaps it doesn't add nearly enough time for any kind of Deep
- 2:16:04time Evolution plausibility to exist.
- 2:16:09So I don't exact, I don't judge those people at all for coming
- 2:16:14up with the slightly higher numbers that they do.
- 2:16:16I know a young Earth creationist who's actually one of the few
- 2:16:21that teaches that the days of creation were actually shorter
- 2:16:26than the days we experience today.
- 2:16:28Their theory is that the days of creation were somewhere between
- 2:16:3215 to 17 hours. Long.
- 2:16:35And basically, his logic was that over the last six thousand
- 2:16:39years, the law of entropy among other things has caused the
- 2:16:43rotation of the earth to slow down to the point where today,
- 2:16:47it takes, you know, 24 hours for the earth to do.
- 2:16:51It's full, you know, spin rotation around the Sun instead
- 2:16:56of fifteen Seventeen hours like it allegedly happened at the
- 2:16:59beginning. Yeah, there's truck seen in
- 2:17:02videos out there were not only We do people are claiming even
- 2:17:06scientists are claiming your at this slows down, like so
- 2:17:10incremental and all that. But they also stated that the
- 2:17:14way the Sun the Earth is going around the Sun and all that and
- 2:17:17the in the Milky Way it's it's also slowing down as well but
- 2:17:22spreading out due to the big bang and expansion.
- 2:17:26So I mean there's a lot of there's a lot of time steaks
- 2:17:30here. You know what I mean?
- 2:17:32Yeah, I get it. Oh, I was just, I lost my train
- 2:17:38of thought. I'll try to remind you.
- 2:17:42We were, we were talking about people that are guests in the
- 2:17:45estimate between 10,000 years. And then we talked about some
- 2:17:49people out there who view that the Earth is slow down.
- 2:17:52Oh yeah, that's it. That's now I remember I was
- 2:17:56going to say the only that the guy that I know why I used to
- 2:18:00talk with back in the day and I have his book where he outlines
- 2:18:03all his theories. I find his theory about the
- 2:18:08Earth, being a fifth, a day on the Earth being 15 to 17 hours
- 2:18:12long for the days of creation. I found that theory plausible,
- 2:18:16because law of entropy is a real thing, and it affects everything
- 2:18:20in this reality. So, there's no doubt, it would
- 2:18:23affect the spin of the earth and cause it to slow down over time.
- 2:18:27But ultimately, even if it wasn't plausible, I don't really
- 2:18:32have a problem with the theory itself because Doesn't really do
- 2:18:36anything to support deep time, atheism, Evolution, or anything
- 2:18:40similar to those three things. It's just, you know, and
- 2:18:43alternative theory about how long the days of creation were
- 2:18:47because I've seen this guy and like, the traditional young
- 2:18:49Earth creationists, who believe that the days of creation of
- 2:18:52always been 24 hours long, even on the first six days, they had
- 2:18:57some really heated debates in the past on the internet about
- 2:19:00that which I just found a little bit silly because you know, it
- 2:19:04doesn't matter which one One's true because neither one of them
- 2:19:06support deep time in any way. So I'm not like a super, I'm not
- 2:19:14like a super militant person, as far as theories go.
- 2:19:17And I'll another problem that creationists have is those who
- 2:19:20create like their own theories about how certain events in the
- 2:19:24Bible went down like the flood of Noah, a lot of people like
- 2:19:27that will get married to their theories.
- 2:19:30Then they start equating their theories to Bible Doctrine and
- 2:19:34when people descent from their theories, that's when they start
- 2:19:36the heresy charges, where they questioned people sad?
- 2:19:40Ation and I always resolved never to be that kind of person
- 2:19:44that if I was going to accuse someone of being a heretic based
- 2:19:48on something, they say about the Bible.
- 2:19:50I want to make sure the Bible actually said that before I
- 2:19:53would accuse them of something and when it comes to the flood
- 2:19:56of Noah, the Bible tells us what happened but it doesn't give us
- 2:20:00any. Well doesn't give us many
- 2:20:01details on the mechanisms behind it so I'm content to let the
- 2:20:06young Earth. Creationism Community come up
- 2:20:08with all the flood. Some theories they want to and
- 2:20:12are not going to consider any of its salvation issue.
- 2:20:14Because the Bible is not clear on it.
- 2:20:17Notice how I judge Things based on whether the Bible is clear or
- 2:20:20not. I hear you, man, I hear you.
- 2:20:25And I've had a lot of discussions with young Earth
- 2:20:28creationist in the past and I have asked people to be more
- 2:20:32specific. It always comes down to what
- 2:20:35I've noticed is the argument is always the Jannah ology in the
- 2:20:38Bible. They say, well, this is a Matt
- 2:20:41and of course is people who are going along with the six days.
- 2:20:44But the issue is is whenever you also, you know, you bring God
- 2:20:49into the equation. God clearly points out several
- 2:20:52times in the Bible that his time is a lot different than our own.
- 2:20:57I mean, he's in, he seems to be in all different places even in
- 2:21:01a state of time. That we can't even bother to
- 2:21:04comprehend. He's not lying here.
- 2:21:06Like we are right and I agree with that.
- 2:21:10Completely the difference though is that God himself in Exodus
- 2:21:17specifically told us how long the days of creation were in
- 2:21:20Exodus 20:8-11 which I'm sure you're familiar with the
- 2:21:23passage. By at this point, it's where
- 2:21:26he's talking to the Israelites and the Moses and he tells them
- 2:21:29you are to work for six days and rest on the seventh because I
- 2:21:33created the universe, the Earth, the sea and everything that is
- 2:21:36in those three things over six days and rested on the 7th.
- 2:21:40She basically was telling them to do something that he himself
- 2:21:44did and the language of that passage is 100% into indicative
- 2:21:50of the days of creation being ordinary days like we
- 2:21:54experienced today. So when that kind of playing
- 2:21:57clear language comes from God himself after God told Moses and
- 2:22:03Miriam and Aaron that he spoke to Moses clearly and not in
- 2:22:08riddles. He when he Revealed things to
- 2:22:11Moses. That's one of those things that
- 2:22:13lets, you know, that the days of creation were ordinary days like
- 2:22:17we experienced today because God himself said it, and he told
- 2:22:21everyone in the Old Testament. By the way, when I spoke to
- 2:22:24Moses, who wrote all these things that you're reading.
- 2:22:28I spoke to him in a straightforward manner, I didn't
- 2:22:30speak in any kind of coded language that he had to
- 2:22:33reinterpret later. And then, you know, ascertain
- 2:22:37the meeting, write it down and all that and that's why I also
- 2:22:40Appreciate about God is he didn't have to make things clear
- 2:22:43for us at all. He could have been ambiguous as
- 2:22:47to the origins of our Earth and universe.
- 2:22:50He didn't have to tell us how long ago he made the Earth and
- 2:22:54universe, or how long it took, or by what process it was, which
- 2:22:57was the speech of his mouth. According to the Old Testament,
- 2:23:01he didn't have to do any of that and yet he chose to.
- 2:23:06And since he chose to, I assume that it's an important enough
- 2:23:09thing to to consider and talk about and hold onto.
- 2:23:13If he thought it was important enough to talk about in any way,
- 2:23:17shape, or form. This next question, I have me
- 2:23:20come off kind of weird. It's going to be difficult
- 2:23:23challenging on how to articulate this.
- 2:23:26But obviously, the Bible says in the beginning and God starts
- 2:23:31doing this creation of the universe and the the world's and
- 2:23:35all this and life. But God would have existed in a
- 2:23:39state of eternal, Permanently before the universe and time
- 2:23:42began. Right.
- 2:23:44Right. So whenever he speaks of in the
- 2:23:47beginning, he's literally talking about the beginning of
- 2:23:50the creation process, I'm not sure how a religious person or
- 2:23:54spiritual person, could put a time frame on a being that lives
- 2:23:59in eternity outside of time. But do you think that God, if we
- 2:24:04were to, like, speculate a little bit?
- 2:24:07If you're cool with that, do you think God existed?
- 2:24:10For a while before he started creating before that beginning
- 2:24:14of time started, or was it a media?
- 2:24:18Not a clue. I mean, he had to exist before
- 2:24:21reality did in order to make it so that's pretty obvious.
- 2:24:26But as far as how long he was around the before he decided to
- 2:24:30create the Earth and universe, I couldn't answer that for you,
- 2:24:35Bible gives you zero information on that, but that would be a
- 2:24:40Great question to ask him yourself when you get to heaven,
- 2:24:44because that's something only, he knows and he chose not to
- 2:24:47reveal it to us at this time. So to me that's just one of
- 2:24:51those ask God and Heaven questions.
- 2:24:54I hear you. There's a lot of stuff.
- 2:24:56I'll be having conversations with them long as he finds me
- 2:25:00worthy enough to get up there. I'm not as non humble, some
- 2:25:03people where they think they got a full guarantee on that.
- 2:25:06I know I can be a creep sometimes.
- 2:25:10Yeah, I know that feeling I know that feeling but anyway I'm
- 2:25:16basically out of time so I need to wrap this up and get dinner
- 2:25:22and move on to some other stuff before I go to bed tonight.
- 2:25:25But thank you for having me on the show.
- 2:25:27Breton, thank you for letting me host things for these last
- 2:25:30couple hours. Well, if you come up with any
- 2:25:33more topics or anything like that, I'm more than happy to
- 2:25:37hand over the reins and let you put something out.
- 2:25:40There. I think that we've covered a lot
- 2:25:42of really interesting topics that may help some people out
- 2:25:44there. Get people at least thinking
- 2:25:47that's what's important. You know to grab the heart and
- 2:25:49say hey it was a pleasure, having you here, T TR, I'll keep
- 2:25:53watching the videos and check it out.
- 2:25:55I'll be looking out for that other video.
- 2:25:57If it takes you a while to get it together, there won't be no
- 2:26:01resentment. I understand, you're very busy
- 2:26:03man. Getting your life together and
- 2:26:05all that. Yeah, yeah, when you're
- 2:26:08producing media for another. Ization, as a full-time job.
- 2:26:13Doing it on the side for your own self is a little bit
- 2:26:17different. There's not the same opportunity
- 2:26:21or you just burned out on the same actions, a little bit, but
- 2:26:24I will find a way in persevere because I have not gotten any
- 2:26:28indication from God that he wants me to stop doing teaching,
- 2:26:31you are before we leave. I forgot to say.
- 2:26:36Congratulations on reaching 500 Subs on your channel, Brett.
- 2:26:41Probably 90% of them want to Stone me to death.
- 2:26:47There's some good people out there.
- 2:26:49Yep. Hopefully you get to a 1000
- 2:26:52sooner than you got to 500 and then you can start enabling
- 2:26:55those chat donations. Well, dqr, I kind of don't even,
- 2:27:02I used to think about that kind of stuff in the past.
- 2:27:04Used to think, you know, if I get to this goal, I can do this,
- 2:27:08I can do this nowadays, I just kind of Let it Fly and I wake up
- 2:27:13and wonder as my page even going to still be there.
- 2:27:16That's fragment for. My thoughts are.
- 2:27:19And if it is and I say well maybe we'll make a video today.
- 2:27:25Yeah, I know that's the only Paul Joseph Watson said the same
- 2:27:28kind of thing years ago when the big text censorship stuff was
- 2:27:32really starting to go off. But the another thing too,
- 2:27:37because of my personal experiences with social media,
- 2:27:41When I look at the numbers they don't I don't want to sound like
- 2:27:45an ass by saying this but the numbers don't impress me anymore
- 2:27:49what makes me happy and what keeps me going as being able to
- 2:27:52have these great conversations with guys, like you looking at
- 2:27:56numbers it's just math that can go away in a matter of seconds.
- 2:28:00But friendship is forever. Yep, I agree with that
- 2:28:04completely. And with that, I bid all you
- 2:28:07guys farewell and I'll that, Brett transition us out.
