- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with our radio. Welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. We
- 0:08Speaker 1: have a very special guest today, Blake and Janina. Welcome.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Thank you for having us. Thank you for pronouncing my
- 0:17Speaker 1: name right. I'm not does. It's been like my life's
- 0:25Speaker 1: uh yeah, my life mission to get people to pronounce
- 0:28Speaker 1: it right. Well, Okay, here's a question for you. Is
- 0:31Speaker 1: it okay if I call you g for the rest
- 0:33Speaker 1: of the podcast? Is permission? Okay? Perfect? Um? Hey, it's
- 0:40Speaker 1: a big year for you to um. You just moved
- 0:43Speaker 1: to Colorado. Gee and Blake, you've been in Colorado for
- 0:47Speaker 1: a while. We're not far from each other. I know
- 0:51Speaker 1: that you've been up to a lot and you just
- 0:53Speaker 1: made a move. How's the move to Denver being been
- 0:55Speaker 1: so far? Babe? You start been extremely stressful. Cross country
- 1:01Speaker 1: is horrible. It's a lot, and it's not easy moving
- 1:05Speaker 1: from beach side to a mountainside if you are a
- 1:08Speaker 1: beach in January. In January, well, not to board the audience,
- 1:13Speaker 1: but we did. We're sitting right now in Carmel by
- 1:16Speaker 1: the Sea in California. We all left Denver on the
- 1:20Speaker 1: same flight. It was negative ten when we left Denver. No,
- 1:22Speaker 1: nobody wants to hear about the weather. But it was cold, cold, cold,
- 1:26Speaker 1: So that's I mean, that's had to be different because
- 1:28Speaker 1: you were living in Miami before Denver. Correct. Um, I
- 1:31Speaker 1: was living with Blake for like a year unofficially, and
- 1:35Speaker 1: now I live with him officially. But yeah, I grew
- 1:38Speaker 1: up in Florida and I I like to just live
- 1:43Speaker 1: in a bikini and not care about whether it's negative
- 1:47Speaker 1: ten degrees if I want to just enjoy the outside.
- 1:50Speaker 1: So yeah, it's been a lot different. My wife has accepted, um,
- 1:55Speaker 1: the fact that fashion is no longer maybe an opportunity
- 1:58Speaker 1: and a possibility, so she just wants to be she's
- 2:01Speaker 1: accepted it, to accepted to accept it, Well, it's always possibility.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I really, I'm really intrigued and interested in your relationship, um,
- 2:12Speaker 1: because you've just now celebrated one year. Um, so it's
- 2:17Speaker 1: it's it's fairly I mean, in today's like standards, it's
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's a fairly new relationship. But you two have moved quickly.
- 2:26Speaker 1: As you said, you've been living in Denver off and
- 2:29Speaker 1: on for the last year, and you've been together for
- 2:31Speaker 1: a year. So I want to start with the two
- 2:34Speaker 1: of you by asking why did you feel like this
- 2:37Speaker 1: was a important enough and serious enough relationship to say
- 2:41Speaker 1: I want to move to a new city with this
- 2:43Speaker 1: man so quickly. Okay, so I guess I'll go. UM.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've been in UM trying relationships with in most of
- 2:53Speaker 1: my twenties, and I felt like, after all of the
- 2:59Speaker 1: chials and repulations, that this was something that felt like
- 3:03Speaker 1: it was worth moving again cross country towards He feels
- 3:10Speaker 1: like home, UM, and there's nothing that makes me feel otherwise,
- 3:15Speaker 1: Like when there, I can't be away from him. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: have to be next to Blake, and he is something
- 3:24Speaker 1: that makes me feel like I'm safe and I I
- 3:35Speaker 1: don't know, there's just there's no there's no words, like
- 3:38Speaker 1: there really isn't UM, and that's what I was looking for.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I put my everything into a storage unit in Miami,
- 3:46Speaker 1: where I thought that I was going to live in
- 3:48Speaker 1: and I traveled around the world thinking that I was
- 3:52Speaker 1: going to live in Europe for a couple of years,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and in that time I met Blake and now I
- 3:58Speaker 1: live in Denver. Um. I ruined your dreams, you know,
- 4:01Speaker 1: hold your life. You didn't ruin my dreams. Maybe you
- 4:05Speaker 1: meta because this is literally what I was. I was.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I was asking the universe, Hey, I want to find
- 4:12Speaker 1: my roots. I want to find my home, and you
- 4:15Speaker 1: are my home. So then, UM, I mean, that's it's
- 4:20Speaker 1: really sweet. But when was it for you that Blake
- 4:24Speaker 1: started to feel like home? I mean, again, I want
- 4:27Speaker 1: to take the time on here. I think this is
- 4:29Speaker 1: a good question. I think the timeline is very important.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I mean I met you ge as we talked about earlier.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Because my puppy, who I talked about in the podcast
- 4:40Speaker 1: and who interrupts the podcast very often. Um, Whalen was
- 4:44Speaker 1: born inside Blake's home while you two were shooting the
- 4:47Speaker 1: show that you met on, and you came home to
- 4:51Speaker 1: that Blake And the first time I went to meet
- 4:53Speaker 1: Whalen when he was newly born, you were there. And
- 4:58Speaker 1: so as soon as you know, as soon as the
- 5:00Speaker 1: show has really done filming, you had already started to say, Hey,
- 5:05Speaker 1: this is a place I want to spend time. I
- 5:07Speaker 1: know at that point in time, you started to spend
- 5:09Speaker 1: more and more time there. So this happened very quickly
- 5:11Speaker 1: where you said, Blake, we just kind of met on
- 5:14Speaker 1: this show. Um, which, as we know in the Bachelor world,
- 5:17Speaker 1: doesn't usually work out, but you already felt connected enough
- 5:21Speaker 1: to say I want to start staying here. So when
- 5:24Speaker 1: were those feelings started to increase for you? And why
- 5:28Speaker 1: did Blake's feel so much more comfortable than maybe past relationships.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I think because I had gone through such a ringer
- 5:36Speaker 1: and I felt like, Oh, this is something that's gonna
- 5:39Speaker 1: be my end all And it wasn't that. When I
- 5:42Speaker 1: met Blake. It just felt right. Um So, we met
- 5:47Speaker 1: on a show where we lived together, and we've always
- 5:51Speaker 1: lived together. Um So when it moved on from reality
- 5:55Speaker 1: TV situationship to real life situationship, and he took it
- 6:01Speaker 1: was honestly on you, babe, Like you took the initiative
- 6:04Speaker 1: to be like, come and be with my family on
- 6:08Speaker 1: Christmas and come integrate into my life. That I felt
- 6:12Speaker 1: very confident in that, and I didn't hesitate, um to
- 6:16Speaker 1: be a part of your life. That I just felt
- 6:19Speaker 1: like it was a very real coming from a TV
- 6:23Speaker 1: show to a reality like actual like real life situation
- 6:29Speaker 1: that I wanted to to give it a real shot again.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And I think a real big part of me was
- 6:36Speaker 1: that I didn't want to be better about my past,
- 6:39Speaker 1: Like I didn't want to close myself from past relationships,
- 6:44Speaker 1: whether it be like a reality TV show or just
- 6:46Speaker 1: past relationships in general, because I had a relationship before
- 6:48Speaker 1: reality TV. You know, UM, I want to just to
- 6:52Speaker 1: to be open. And when you invited me to Colorado
- 6:58Speaker 1: and had me meet your family as our first date
- 7:03Speaker 1: and I never left, and we both felt the exact
- 7:06Speaker 1: same way. I think it was just like, Okay, like
- 7:09Speaker 1: this is real, this is something that's worth giving a shot. UM,
- 7:15Speaker 1: And I don't know, you just kind of like turned
- 7:18Speaker 1: everything upside down, like we both felt the exact same way.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I feel, Blake, what do you think? UM? You know
- 7:23Speaker 1: I'm interested in now with you because your situation maybe
- 7:25Speaker 1: it was a little different. You went on the show
- 7:27Speaker 1: I talked to before you went on the show. You
- 7:29Speaker 1: didn't know what to expect out of this show that
- 7:30Speaker 1: you were going on. It was a whole new experience
- 7:32Speaker 1: for you. You come back, um with somebody. UM. And
- 7:37Speaker 1: then you know, from my own personal experience, I know
- 7:39Speaker 1: now you know when I was living in my house alone,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you know, you start to get really comfortable living in
- 7:46Speaker 1: a house alone. You come back from the show and
- 7:49Speaker 1: all of a sudden, somebody else is in your house
- 7:51Speaker 1: with you sharing the space with you? Um, what made
- 7:55Speaker 1: you feel like this is somebody I want around and
- 7:58Speaker 1: then I'm okay sharing this space with him and I
- 8:00Speaker 1: want to share this space with him. Yeah. So I
- 8:03Speaker 1: remember when I came back from the show, like you said,
- 8:05Speaker 1: we we chatted before the show. I told him, you know,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I told you been I was going on the show
- 8:08Speaker 1: and I didn't know what to expect and it was
- 8:10Speaker 1: just like it wasn't a dating show and it was
- 8:12Speaker 1: more of a competition show. And I was like I
- 8:15Speaker 1: was just desk, Like I was like, I'm not going
- 8:17Speaker 1: to meet anybody. I don't want to meet anybody. And
- 8:19Speaker 1: I ended up meeting G. And I remember coming back
- 8:21Speaker 1: from the show and you know, you know this like
- 8:23Speaker 1: when you get back from a show, it's just G talks, right,
- 8:25Speaker 1: you just sleep for days, like you're just trying to
- 8:27Speaker 1: catch up on sleep and just trying to react on
- 8:29Speaker 1: me to where you are. And it was about two days,
- 8:31Speaker 1: like I didn't I slept for two days and G
- 8:37Speaker 1: hadn't heard from me in two days. And I remember
- 8:39Speaker 1: being like there was a moment where I was like
- 8:41Speaker 1: I miss her and I remember feeling that and I
- 8:44Speaker 1: was like I miss her, and I ended up texting
- 8:46Speaker 1: her and she was like, oh, I thought this was
- 8:50Speaker 1: like I thought we were broken up. Like I thought
- 8:51Speaker 1: there was just a showmance, you know, because it had
- 8:53Speaker 1: been two days of me just sleeping in my bed
- 8:55Speaker 1: um and it turned out like her family had had
- 8:58Speaker 1: caught COVID and she was like, I'm gonna spend Chris
- 9:00Speaker 1: and this alone and I was like, no, you're not
- 9:02Speaker 1: come to Denver. And so yeah, literally our first real
- 9:05Speaker 1: quote unquote date um was with my family over Christmas,
- 9:08Speaker 1: and it was just like we, like she kind of
- 9:10Speaker 1: talked about we we ended up living together during the show,
- 9:13Speaker 1: right where it's very different than Bachelor. We're all in
- 9:15Speaker 1: the same villa. We spent every night together since like
- 9:17Speaker 1: maybe a second or third night on the show. So
- 9:20Speaker 1: it's just it just felt natural, and it felt like
- 9:23Speaker 1: it just wasn't weird for her to then come to
- 9:25Speaker 1: my house and lived with me like it was, which
- 9:27Speaker 1: is weird to say, but it didn't feel weird. And
- 9:30Speaker 1: so it's just the whole time we've always been together,
- 9:33Speaker 1: it's just been very easy. It's there's no yeah, it's
- 9:36Speaker 1: not it's not hard work. It's just a relationship that
- 9:38Speaker 1: I've never really had that, you know, And I've never
- 9:39Speaker 1: had a relationship where I felt like I needed to
- 9:41Speaker 1: work at you know, or I don't need to work
- 9:43Speaker 1: at all the time. So this is kind of the
- 9:45Speaker 1: first time that had happened. And listen, I had this
- 9:49Speaker 1: great house, my dream house, and having you know, a
- 9:55Speaker 1: girlfriend move in or not, well, you did kind of
- 9:57Speaker 1: move in for the first like on off for the
- 9:59Speaker 1: first year. It's a lot, like any man or woman
- 10:03Speaker 1: for that matter, it's a lot to have Sunny move
- 10:04Speaker 1: in near space. And we've yeah, it's it's not easy,
- 10:07Speaker 1: and we've had our ups and downs where it's like, oh,
- 10:09Speaker 1: you want me to throw away my shirt from two
- 10:11Speaker 1: thousand and six when I want to, you know what,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I want to like league, when I say, you know,
- 10:15Speaker 1: it's like no. But then you know, you come to
- 10:18Speaker 1: the decision. It's like is this is this T shirt worth?
- 10:20Speaker 1: Like my relationship and you have to come to those conclusions.
- 10:22Speaker 1: You have to come to those realizations of like do
- 10:25Speaker 1: I give up half my closet for the girl I
- 10:28Speaker 1: love or do I you know, fight this, and then
- 10:31Speaker 1: it becomes incredibly difficult to have a relationship. So there's
- 10:34Speaker 1: things you have to give up in order. Yeah, you
- 10:37Speaker 1: have to cover mynse. Relationships are about from cover mind.
- 10:39Speaker 1: So we've done that, And honestly, I don't like I
- 10:43Speaker 1: want to like cover her ears right now, and I
- 10:44Speaker 1: want to like meet her microphone. But my house sixs
- 10:47Speaker 1: a thousand times better than she moves. It's not easy.
- 10:52Speaker 1: It is not easy, but it's been a blessing and occurs,
- 10:56Speaker 1: but more of blessing than occurs for sure. Well, you
- 10:58Speaker 1: just said it. I wasn't gonna put where in your mouth,
- 11:01Speaker 1: but you said, you said you know the person you love. Um,
- 11:05Speaker 1: I think all of us would love to know when
- 11:07Speaker 1: that feeling happened for the two of you. When did
- 11:10Speaker 1: you first say, when did you first feel it? What
- 11:13Speaker 1: brought you to that point. I'm gonna start with Blake
- 11:16Speaker 1: because I feel like, Gee, you would have a really
- 11:18Speaker 1: good easy time answering this, And I feel like I
- 11:21Speaker 1: want to start with Blake on when he started to
- 11:23Speaker 1: feel this and know that this is something worthwhile. So
- 11:27Speaker 1: this is actually a great question because I love it. Yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 1: this is a good question because we're gonna have very
- 11:31Speaker 1: different answers just because of what I didn't Well, we'll
- 11:34Speaker 1: let her answer her her later. But for me, I
- 11:38Speaker 1: knew I've been through a lot on Batchel it right,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I've been through a lot in public, I should say,
- 11:43Speaker 1: And so for me, I was not I was determined
- 11:47Speaker 1: not to fall in love fast, which is a weird thing,
- 11:51Speaker 1: you know, Like I had fallen in love fast a lot,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and I was somebody who was like hopeless romantic, and
- 11:57Speaker 1: I wanted like I was always like I'm gonna fall love.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna fall in love like a fall off. But
- 12:00Speaker 1: with her, I did it different. I was like, I'm
- 12:03Speaker 1: going like, I don't even if I feel it, I'm
- 12:05Speaker 1: not going to say it, Like I am determined to
- 12:09Speaker 1: not to be that person who falls in love again fast.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Like I wanted to protect myself, I wanted to protect her.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I just didn't want to put ourselves in that situation again.
- 12:18Speaker 1: So as much as I loved her pretty quickly, I
- 12:21Speaker 1: would say, I mean, I'm gonna put exact date on it,
- 12:24Speaker 1: but I would say, honestly, after we actually talked about this,
- 12:27Speaker 1: it was after she came to Denver, she met my family,
- 12:30Speaker 1: and everything was like she got along with my family,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and then it was like we're in the real world,
- 12:35Speaker 1: and I still feel this way. I did. I did
- 12:38Speaker 1: love her, but it took me months. It took me
- 12:42Speaker 1: months to say because as much as I didn't want
- 12:46Speaker 1: to fall in love as quick, you know, as the bachelor,
- 12:48Speaker 1: I in a weird way, I still wanted to be
- 12:50Speaker 1: as as weirdly special, right. I wanted this moment to
- 12:53Speaker 1: be like, you know, we talked about this, like like
- 12:56Speaker 1: candles everywhere and we're in a hot tub in the
- 12:57Speaker 1: middle of that, Like I wanted this crazy thing, and
- 13:00Speaker 1: so I just kept holding off, like no, it's gonna calm,
- 13:02Speaker 1: like this weird moment of like everything coming in boot.
- 13:04Speaker 1: And then finally we were just in bed at one night.
- 13:08Speaker 1: We were just in which we refer to as our
- 13:10Speaker 1: safe space, right, we travel a lot. In our bed
- 13:12Speaker 1: is like our safe space. We're watching Netflix, like Netflix
- 13:15Speaker 1: and chills like our safe space. And I remember I
- 13:17Speaker 1: just looked at her and she was like laying on
- 13:19Speaker 1: my chest. I just looked and I was like, I
- 13:21Speaker 1: love you. And then it was like this moment of like,
- 13:23Speaker 1: oh my god. It was like such a relief to
- 13:25Speaker 1: me to feel that like weight write a pressure of
- 13:28Speaker 1: like it's got to be perfect and it didn't. It
- 13:30Speaker 1: doesn't need to be perfect, and so it was just
- 13:32Speaker 1: like it was a leaf off me. And then she
- 13:34Speaker 1: had been waiting a little while. I had almost said
- 13:36Speaker 1: it a couple of times, so it was like a
- 13:38Speaker 1: relief for her to you know, it was just like
- 13:41Speaker 1: we knew we felt it, so like actually say it
- 13:44Speaker 1: all loud. It was like a big moment for us.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So I want to say it was probably like June.
- 13:49Speaker 1: It's like six months in I think five six months
- 13:51Speaker 1: in G. Before we get to you, I want to
- 14:04Speaker 1: dig into this just a little bit, So Blake you
- 14:07Speaker 1: feel like, would you say if this is accurate? Tell
- 14:10Speaker 1: me if I'm not. But because of your history, not
- 14:13Speaker 1: only in the Bachelor but outside of the Bachelor, it
- 14:17Speaker 1: made you hesitant to step in and communicate that you
- 14:21Speaker 1: were in love with somebody like that, Like your time
- 14:23Speaker 1: on the Bachelor and the Bachelorette or I guess on
- 14:26Speaker 1: the Bachelorette really and in Paradise and all the storylines
- 14:29Speaker 1: and all the things that you went through made you
- 14:32Speaker 1: mentally put a lot more pressure and like maybe even
- 14:37Speaker 1: like confuse yourself a little bit on when you should
- 14:41Speaker 1: and how you should communicate to G that you loved her, Yeah, exactly.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I mean people often forget this, like I've had relationships
- 14:48Speaker 1: before the show, and like we all have had relationships
- 14:50Speaker 1: before the show, and even before the show, like I
- 14:53Speaker 1: had been told I love you too soon, like somebody
- 14:56Speaker 1: had told me they love me too soon, and I
- 14:58Speaker 1: just didn't want to make that Like I wanted to
- 15:01Speaker 1: make sure that this was the one I've talked about
- 15:03Speaker 1: this before I met she. I was like the next
- 15:05Speaker 1: person that I go public with, like she like, this
- 15:10Speaker 1: is it, you know, And so I just wanted to
- 15:12Speaker 1: make sure that this, Like I didn't want to rush anything.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I rushed anything into a lot on national television. I
- 15:17Speaker 1: was like, I'm just not gonna do it, you know.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And so I was just determined to wait and make sure.
- 15:21Speaker 1: And so when I was sure, it still took me months.
- 15:24Speaker 1: But when I was sure, like it was like, okay,
- 15:26Speaker 1: like I'm going to do this. So that's that's kind
- 15:28Speaker 1: of what I felt like my mind framing at the time.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It was interesting, but this is it? Gee, what about
- 15:39Speaker 1: for you? I need you right away really explain. Yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I've always had like this very innate feeling of who
- 15:51Speaker 1: I actually like, like have love for so I knew
- 15:55Speaker 1: I had a love for Blake, like as soon as
- 15:57Speaker 1: I met him, essentially like even before I said I'd
- 16:02Speaker 1: love you, I knew I loved him as a person. Um.
- 16:06Speaker 1: And then on the show, actually he did this very
- 16:11Speaker 1: chivalrous moment where I was supposed to go on this
- 16:14Speaker 1: thing called xcel Island. So yeah, the show real Quick
- 16:17Speaker 1: is All Star Shore for those of you that want
- 16:18Speaker 1: to watch, it's All Star Short. It's a competition show.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, All Star Shore where you compete for money, um,
- 16:25Speaker 1: and you're it's not a love show, but it's a
- 16:28Speaker 1: show where you, um like drink and hang out and
- 16:32Speaker 1: like you have like all these fun people around um.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And if you fail out of show, then you're supposed
- 16:38Speaker 1: to go to this horrendous like situation called xcel Island
- 16:43Speaker 1: where you're supposed to like fund for your life and
- 16:46Speaker 1: try to like fiddle, like figure out this riddle and
- 16:49Speaker 1: this like puzzle, and if you don't then you kind
- 16:52Speaker 1: of like stay in this horrible situation where you're either
- 16:56Speaker 1: like in this um, I never went so yeah. Yeah.
- 17:02Speaker 1: So basically, if you fail during competition, you lose. You
- 17:05Speaker 1: have to go to Exile Island, which is like you
- 17:07Speaker 1: sleep on like a fishing boat, or you sleep like
- 17:10Speaker 1: on the beach, you sleep in the forest. Like it's
- 17:12Speaker 1: just a very nightmare come to exactly. Is not as
- 17:16Speaker 1: comfortable as the other house exactly exactly, not even comfortable.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It's like literally your nightmare comfortable. Um. And so I
- 17:24Speaker 1: got hurt during my exile challenge where I was supposed
- 17:27Speaker 1: to like if I failed, then I would go to
- 17:29Speaker 1: the exile Island, and I got very hurt and I
- 17:32Speaker 1: had to go to the e r and then Blake
- 17:34Speaker 1: like took my place, and it was just like this
- 17:36Speaker 1: very chivalrous like like moment to place. He took my place. Um.
- 17:42Speaker 1: And so I came back to the house and I
- 17:45Speaker 1: was like I'm ready to go to exile Island, like
- 17:47Speaker 1: I'm ready to, you know, like claim my spot, and
- 17:50Speaker 1: they go, no, Blake already took it, and I just
- 17:53Speaker 1: kind of like, I don't know, I went into the
- 17:56Speaker 1: feudal position. I was like I can't believe you would
- 17:59Speaker 1: do that, like I love him, and it just came
- 18:02Speaker 1: out and everybody around me was like you what, and
- 18:06Speaker 1: I was like I love him And it was like
- 18:08Speaker 1: the first time that I said it out loud. Even
- 18:10Speaker 1: though I felt it like constantly ever since I met him. Um,
- 18:14Speaker 1: But regardless like when even though I said it on
- 18:19Speaker 1: the show, I didn't. It took every fiber of my
- 18:24Speaker 1: being to not tell him fifty times a day that
- 18:27Speaker 1: I loved this man because I knew um And, So
- 18:30Speaker 1: when he said it, I was just like I was
- 18:33Speaker 1: expecting me to, like, um, break down in tears, but
- 18:37Speaker 1: I just laughed, laughed. I just felt it out in
- 18:42Speaker 1: this laugh and I was just like you, I did.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So it was just it was a very like it
- 18:56Speaker 1: was a very happy moment for me and um And
- 19:00Speaker 1: and I was waiting for this guy to just express
- 19:03Speaker 1: and like fesses love to me. But I knew. I
- 19:07Speaker 1: knew very early on before I met his family, before
- 19:10Speaker 1: we left on the show, because I had a show, um,
- 19:14Speaker 1: a dating show that I was going to do after
- 19:17Speaker 1: I met him, that I wasn't planning on falling in
- 19:20Speaker 1: love on All Star Shore. And no matter what, I
- 19:24Speaker 1: knew that this was somebody that I was going to
- 19:27Speaker 1: have a place in my heart for for a very
- 19:29Speaker 1: long time. And um, it turns out that I did.
- 19:33Speaker 1: So she said that show, thank God, but real awkward.
- 19:38Speaker 1: So it's a little bit like I mean, it sounds
- 19:39Speaker 1: like to me, it's a little bit for you like
- 19:41Speaker 1: love at first sight. Um no, not to show like
- 19:45Speaker 1: love like like like literally was it love at first sight?
- 19:50Speaker 1: With Blake? It was love at first um him wanting
- 19:57Speaker 1: to express like genuine and like conser not not concerned,
- 20:02Speaker 1: but like you you were just like very genuine. You
- 20:05Speaker 1: were very much like a gentleman compared to what I
- 20:11Speaker 1: was used to in in the whole year that I
- 20:14Speaker 1: was like single and you you you cared for me,
- 20:19Speaker 1: and you showed like a genuine, um like love and
- 20:24Speaker 1: the way that you like pursued me was like it
- 20:29Speaker 1: was you. Whenever we hooked up and left the show together,
- 20:36Speaker 1: every single person that we were with on the show
- 20:40Speaker 1: said this makes sense, Like I can't wait to see
- 20:45Speaker 1: you guys like evolved and like become this and and
- 20:48Speaker 1: do that together. And I was like yeah, and like this,
- 20:52Speaker 1: I was like I have I have another show after this,
- 20:55Speaker 1: Like okay, thank you. This is lovely you know, like
- 20:58Speaker 1: let's call it the show me for what it is.
- 21:01Speaker 1: But um, everyone outside of us I saw that this
- 21:06Speaker 1: was something that made sense, and it really did because
- 21:10Speaker 1: we are we're just like soul mate. So honestly, I
- 21:12Speaker 1: always felt like mate, but I thought you were a
- 21:15Speaker 1: temporary soul mate. Like a little bit of that doesn't
- 21:19Speaker 1: make sense to me though, because you had just said
- 21:21Speaker 1: you were laying in the fetal position saying I love
- 21:23Speaker 1: this man, and then it took every fiber of your
- 21:26Speaker 1: being to not tell him that, right. But yeah, at
- 21:29Speaker 1: the same time, you believe there was a showman. You
- 21:32Speaker 1: believe that this would end, that you would go your
- 21:34Speaker 1: separate ways, and you'd still go on the show. So
- 21:37Speaker 1: explain that to me a little bit, like where Like
- 21:39Speaker 1: what am I not getting at it? Like? Where am
- 21:42Speaker 1: I missing that? The fact that you cared about him
- 21:45Speaker 1: so much on the show. But yeah, you still believe
- 21:46Speaker 1: this could end and that you would move on, right,
- 21:50Speaker 1: I know. So, I mean there's a lot of like
- 21:53Speaker 1: soul mates in your life that you feel like you
- 21:56Speaker 1: come into your life and teach you something and then
- 21:59Speaker 1: help you express the person that you're supposed to be
- 22:02Speaker 1: at that time. Um, and then that you wish that
- 22:05Speaker 1: they were that person for you to to help develop
- 22:08Speaker 1: and because you feel so connected to them. And I
- 22:12Speaker 1: thought that I could have a moment with Blake, but
- 22:17Speaker 1: I didn't. I hoped that he would be my person,
- 22:20Speaker 1: but if he wasn't, then I would hold that special
- 22:23Speaker 1: place in my heart and I would always cherish him
- 22:25Speaker 1: and I would always hope that he would, you know,
- 22:28Speaker 1: become a developer or learn something from me and vice versa.
- 22:35Speaker 1: And that's something that you always wish if you found
- 22:37Speaker 1: someone that was very special and you felt like that
- 22:40Speaker 1: they were going to, um, you know, just hold the
- 22:45Speaker 1: like a special place in your heart. I don't know,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I don't know how to explain it, Like people come
- 22:49Speaker 1: and go in your life and even that they're going
- 22:52Speaker 1: to be like a chapter or they're going to be
- 22:54Speaker 1: something that actually, um holds a place. And I wanted
- 23:00Speaker 1: to Blake to be somebody that that held a special place. UM.
- 23:06Speaker 1: But I didn't expect him to be my my forever,
- 23:11Speaker 1: even though I wanted him to. I was ready to
- 23:13Speaker 1: just kind of be like, hey, we did this thing.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I met you in a place in my life that
- 23:22Speaker 1: I evolved and and grew into a person that I
- 23:27Speaker 1: always wanted to be. And I and I hope that
- 23:30Speaker 1: we would kind of like help each other in a sense.
- 23:33Speaker 1: But if we didn't work out, then Nola of lost.
- 23:37Speaker 1: But if we end up working out it would be magical.
- 23:40Speaker 1: And that's something that you you hoped, you know, whenever
- 23:45Speaker 1: when I hope that no matter what, this was special exactly. Yeah,
- 24:02Speaker 1: the hard hitting questions are coming and no, no, we
- 24:08Speaker 1: got some fun ones coming our way, and I feel
- 24:10Speaker 1: confident enough to talk about them because we've been enjoying
- 24:12Speaker 1: ourselves tonight with some Stellar Rosa wine. Um. Stellar Rosa
- 24:17Speaker 1: is incredible wine. And Uh, as I said, we're hearing
- 24:20Speaker 1: Karmo by the sea, which I can't think of a
- 24:22Speaker 1: better place to have a glass of wine. Um. Then
- 24:27Speaker 1: this area you got the ocean, you got in an
- 24:29Speaker 1: incredible town. You've got incredible golf courses, which you know
- 24:33Speaker 1: we love. Um. If you've never heard of Stellar Rosa wine,
- 24:38Speaker 1: well you should. Uh. And it's incredibly good. It's semi sweet,
- 24:43Speaker 1: semi sparkling wine. It's refreshing. Um. It's best for me
- 24:48Speaker 1: when it's chilled. And another cool part about it is
- 24:52Speaker 1: it has over twenty unique fruit flavors and innovations and
- 24:55Speaker 1: it's real fruit, so it's low calorie, naturally gluten free,
- 24:59Speaker 1: which is a big part of my life now with
- 25:01Speaker 1: my wife because she's natural, she's healthy and she's gluten free,
- 25:06Speaker 1: so sell Rosa. Wine is a big part of our household.
- 25:09Speaker 1: It's a big part of this trip for us, and
- 25:12Speaker 1: it has also given me the confidence. I feel like
- 25:14Speaker 1: to ask a few more questions here to the two
- 25:16Speaker 1: of you that I think up for the last seven hours.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Here we go happily, happily, UM, you know you Gee,
- 25:28Speaker 1: I couldn't help, but hear you say something about Blake
- 25:30Speaker 1: being your person and so I just want to ask
- 25:32Speaker 1: you guys directly and you can answer it however you
- 25:34Speaker 1: want together or not? Um? Is marriage in your future?
- 25:39Speaker 1: Is this? Is he your person? G I guess maybe
- 25:43Speaker 1: would be the way to answer this first. And do
- 25:45Speaker 1: you believe that this show All Star Shore in the
- 25:48Speaker 1: last year of your life have led you to somebody
- 25:52Speaker 1: that you want to spend the rest of your life with.
- 25:54Speaker 1: So I proposed to Blake, like seven, how do you
- 25:58Speaker 1: do that? Tell me more? Um? Every single I don't
- 26:03Speaker 1: know when I feel it. I just we're laying about
- 26:05Speaker 1: and I'm like, do you want to marry me? Or
- 26:08Speaker 1: we you know, we're having a dare and I'm like,
- 26:10Speaker 1: do you want to get married? Or as the answer
- 26:13Speaker 1: and he just goes there he's just been giggling. Yeah,
- 26:18Speaker 1: he's just giggling in the background, and he goes, I
- 26:20Speaker 1: want to ask you. So I'm like, yeah, called the
- 26:24Speaker 1: old fashioned but no, I yeah, I want to do
- 26:27Speaker 1: the proposing number one. But yeah, I mean listen, I
- 26:30Speaker 1: like I've said a thousand times, not said this publicly.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I said this. It was like the next time I'm going,
- 26:35Speaker 1: you know, I'm really with a woman, and I tell everybody,
- 26:37Speaker 1: and I quote unquote show everybody like, yeah, like I'm
- 26:41Speaker 1: confident in this relationship and this woman and then what
- 26:43Speaker 1: we have. So I feel very confident in this relationship,
- 26:46Speaker 1: in this woman and what we have. So that's getting married.
- 26:52Speaker 1: So yeah, that's my answer to that. I feel like, yes,
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'm very excited for this year and what Yeah, relationship
- 26:59Speaker 1: does stop. You're excited for this year. I'm excited for
- 27:03Speaker 1: this year. I'm excited to watch this now this year
- 27:07Speaker 1: play out. And you both are very good at capturing
- 27:10Speaker 1: your year. In fact, as we mentioned, you just did
- 27:13Speaker 1: celebrate um a one year anniversary. You went to Buena Vista,
- 27:17Speaker 1: which is a place in Colorado to celebrate. Why did
- 27:19Speaker 1: you choose their Yeah it was so fun. So a
- 27:23Speaker 1: year's kind of a long time in my dating history,
- 27:28Speaker 1: Like this is a no pr for me. So I
- 27:30Speaker 1: was like, I need to really need I need to
- 27:32Speaker 1: really express how I feel to this woman. And it
- 27:36Speaker 1: was gonna be a special, special moment. So she mentioned
- 27:38Speaker 1: a bunch like we have some incredible hot springs in
- 27:41Speaker 1: Colorado and um we mentioned like she mentioned it a
- 27:44Speaker 1: couple of times, and I was like, Okay, I need
- 27:45Speaker 1: to find a private hot springs. There a lot of
- 27:48Speaker 1: public hot springs. I need to find a private hot springs. Yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 1: pretty much. Um. And I obviously like I love the mountains.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, So I
- 27:59Speaker 1: love the mountains. I love you know, cabin and I
- 28:00Speaker 1: love this escaping into the mountains. Um. And so yeah,
- 28:04Speaker 1: we found this amazing hot springs um in the mountains.
- 28:06Speaker 1: It was a private hot springs and it was perfect
- 28:09Speaker 1: for us, Like it was this cute little cabin that's
- 28:11Speaker 1: over a hundred years old and it was just a
- 28:13Speaker 1: really cool night for us. Like I think, honestly, I
- 28:17Speaker 1: don't know how I'm going to beat that your anniversary.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I don't know how I'm gonna one up this anniversary.
- 28:23Speaker 1: We made sushi together and it would like by the
- 28:25Speaker 1: fire and stayed out hours and hours in this hot
- 28:28Speaker 1: springs in the middle of winter like it was. It
- 28:30Speaker 1: was amazing, It was incredible. I don't know how I'm
- 28:32Speaker 1: gonna one up the wedding. Wedding. I got an idea.
- 28:39Speaker 1: It's a wedding I have, I have. Yeah, well, I
- 28:42Speaker 1: mean g that also then begs the question do you
- 28:45Speaker 1: want to wait another a couple of months for this
- 28:48Speaker 1: engagement to happen? Are you ready now? Question? Yeah? I mean,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you know, next year anniversary, you could
- 28:56Speaker 1: pop a ring, but or you could do beforehand. Um whatever,
- 28:59Speaker 1: you guys are in my living room tomorrow, today, tonight.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I am an efficient, I am a legal official. Ever
- 29:10Speaker 1: we can make this happen. It's just a few words.
- 29:12Speaker 1: So yeah, we I mean literally, I've I've done it before.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Um well, I mean, I think it's fun here to
- 29:21Speaker 1: close this out, and this conversation with you two has
- 29:23Speaker 1: been incredible and it's it's really interesting and fun for
- 29:27Speaker 1: me to know about your history and what's brought you
- 29:30Speaker 1: this point. Something we always like to do on the
- 29:32Speaker 1: Almost Famous podcast when we get new couples. Um, we
- 29:35Speaker 1: don't want to ask you questions that will pit you
- 29:37Speaker 1: against each other. We really want to ask you questions
- 29:39Speaker 1: that will um bring the lights and maybe things that
- 29:42Speaker 1: you don't tell each other as much as you should.
- 29:44Speaker 1: And I know that my own relationship. So Ge, I'll
- 29:47Speaker 1: start with you. I'm not gonna tell you one through
- 29:51Speaker 1: five or one through three. But what is it about
- 29:54Speaker 1: Blake that you love the most? When you look at Blake?
- 29:57Speaker 1: When you think about Blake? Um, what is it that
- 30:00Speaker 1: comes to your mind that makes you say I love
- 30:02Speaker 1: this man? Mm hmmm um, So I can just first thing,
- 30:10Speaker 1: first thing, Okay, first thing, first thing, First thing, I
- 30:13Speaker 1: don't know. Your energy is just delicious, Like you're somebody
- 30:18Speaker 1: that I like, I want to be around. And then
- 30:23Speaker 1: the way that you smile at like random things just
- 30:28Speaker 1: makes me happy. So I'm just happy when I'm around you.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Where Um, when I'm sad, you make me happy. John,
- 30:37Speaker 1: You're gonna say smile you always talk about Blake? What
- 30:41Speaker 1: about for you? You're stupid? You're stupid? Um? What was like?
- 30:47Speaker 1: What was the actual question? But I just thought of
- 30:49Speaker 1: a bunch of cute chip But I wanted to answer
- 30:51Speaker 1: the act. When you think of g and if you
- 30:53Speaker 1: think of the reasons that you love her, like the
- 30:55Speaker 1: reasons that when you think about her as a person,
- 30:58Speaker 1: what makes you love her. So for me, and this
- 31:02Speaker 1: was pretty immediate for me, Um, I agree with the
- 31:06Speaker 1: energy thing, Like I was drawn to her like energy
- 31:08Speaker 1: kind of you know, like attracts good energy with attracts
- 31:11Speaker 1: good energy. Um. But for me, I mean it's I
- 31:17Speaker 1: mean it's got to be You're like confident, Like you're
- 31:22Speaker 1: wildly confident, and I'm attracted to confident and strong women.
- 31:25Speaker 1: And so right off the bat, I was like there
- 31:27Speaker 1: was just some this aura about her that was just
- 31:30Speaker 1: like I don't need you, but like I want you.
- 31:34Speaker 1: And I loved that. It was one of those things
- 31:36Speaker 1: where like I don't think I need a man, like
- 31:37Speaker 1: I don't think I need you, but I want you.
- 31:39Speaker 1: And I was very attracted to that. So I loved
- 31:42Speaker 1: her like badass, boss bitch energy that she gives off. Yeah,
- 31:47Speaker 1: she's some big dick energy. So I love that about her.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Good for you, Gi, Yeah, I don't know, but like
- 31:57Speaker 1: at the same time, super attractive. I don't know about
- 31:59Speaker 1: you might be the only one in the room with that.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Umint the gallery the uh again, this is um it's
- 32:16Speaker 1: special to talk to the two of you. Um uh
- 32:20Speaker 1: again as somebody that has senior relationships at the beginning. Um,
- 32:25Speaker 1: is it exciting for the year ahead and what comes
- 32:28Speaker 1: for the two of you? And I'm glad we get
- 32:29Speaker 1: to celebrate this weekend here um in such a beautiful area.
- 32:33Speaker 1: And it has been an incredible weekend so far. We've
- 32:36Speaker 1: gotten to do a lot, and we've gotten to share,
- 32:39Speaker 1: as I mentioned earlier, some incredible wine. And thanks to
- 32:41Speaker 1: Cellarissa Wines for helping us put this weekend on and
- 32:45Speaker 1: giving us so much incredible uh sweet beautiful nectar um
- 32:51Speaker 1: to enjoy uh this weekend. Uh. If you're somebody out
- 32:54Speaker 1: there that's a wine fan, um, Silarisa wine is semi sweet,
- 32:58Speaker 1: it's semi spark clean wine. So it has a little
- 33:01Speaker 1: nice little effervescent to it. Uh, unique fruit flavors and innovations.
- 33:06Speaker 1: It's real fruit, low calorie, naturally gluten free. Um. It's
- 33:11Speaker 1: not your typical wine brand. Cillarosa breaks wine stereotypes. UM,
- 33:15Speaker 1: like you can have red wine with chicken because it
- 33:17Speaker 1: has that little um sparkle and and that's something we
- 33:21Speaker 1: enjoy in our own household. So uh, Blake and g
- 33:25Speaker 1: will end with this with a year ahead. Um, with
- 33:29Speaker 1: things happening, Blake, I know you're busy, uh djaying, Um,
- 33:33Speaker 1: what are YouTube? What's your plans? What are you looking
- 33:37Speaker 1: forward to here in the next few months? What can
- 33:39Speaker 1: people maybe follow you on to to stay in contact
- 33:42Speaker 1: with the two of you as a couple and then
- 33:43Speaker 1: the you know you two as individuals. Okay, Um, No,
- 33:49Speaker 1: I mean we have a big year, a big here
- 33:53Speaker 1: for us. You know, it's weird to think that a
- 33:55Speaker 1: year ago, Uh, we met and so we're a year
- 34:00Speaker 1: in our relationship. But weirdly enough, like we've only been
- 34:03Speaker 1: quote unquote public for about six months. It's really not
- 34:06Speaker 1: been very long. So we're excited for the year to come.
- 34:09Speaker 1: We got some amazing trips plan We're going to Hampsterday
- 34:11Speaker 1: and Portugal for a birthday, going to Visa. Um, We're
- 34:15Speaker 1: doing a lot of really fun things this year. Um.
- 34:19Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, it's it's gonna be It's gonna
- 34:21Speaker 1: be a fun year for the for the two of us.
- 34:22Speaker 1: We have some some fun things. I have a lot
- 34:24Speaker 1: of things that are gonna pose some competition for you.
- 34:27Speaker 1: But I'm sorry, it's a coffee I can tell you
- 34:31Speaker 1: all about how to do it and how much work
- 34:35Speaker 1: it actually takes. Good. I'm just's listening to it. But yeah,
- 34:43Speaker 1: there's a there's a lot of fun like development just
- 34:46Speaker 1: um personal and and you have some fun opportunities. I
- 34:52Speaker 1: can't say too much that I think we're gonna come
- 34:54Speaker 1: this year that we're kind of in discussions about which
- 34:58Speaker 1: might be back on your TV again. But we'll see,
- 35:00Speaker 1: we'll see, we'll see. So, um, you can follow us. Um,
- 35:03Speaker 1: I'm block A dot h on Instagram, and you are
- 35:06Speaker 1: Giannina Jibelli, g I A and and I and I know,
