- Sue: One of the features of modern life as I refer to it is given my activity with blogging two posts a day, I get these notifications indicating I've been on a blogging daily run of, you know, six hundred days now. Since about last October. Almost two years ago now. And I revisit the reason why I blog in the first place, which was to help me with my path of being a widow, I would on my website domain every few days posts something that I thought I might want to reflect on at one point in the future. You know, weather events and happenings of getting rid of my late husband's equipment, for example, and sometimes posting pictures that he took as a reminiscence of him. So here I am. Today, realizing that and I have mindfully decided that creating two blog posts each and every day is how I fill up the time that I would otherwise be doing a full time job, in essence, or at least be u the equivalent of a second part-time job. I don't do it for anything other than just logging the mundane things of my life as a journal. In the past ninety days, I have distributed my YouTube videos on a podcast platform via RSS feed, and as I Can imagine you can understand. I now get emails from podcast SEO companies and such about how to grow and monetize my podcast. And you know, this is where the little tidbit of data trending at ⁓ position 155 in Kazakhstan on the music podcast list and such have come across my radar. Two latest pitched emails frame the same podcast that was listed as a music. The second one framed the category of my podcast as spirituality and religion and the third comer listed by category as a widow's journal. I resemble all of these. And I know they want money for me to get all of their intel on how I can monetize. So we have these three marketing pitches at the same blog with three different categories. And as I look through my domain blog traffic, those who are reading my blog entries are coming from all parts of the world. It's really kinda cool to see. I understand that it could also be somebody with a very robust VPN. So whatever. It's all good. The YouTube viewer stats, the audience dare, is predominantly male. I think they're generally in the eighteen to forty five, fifty age group and most of the viewers are watching the content from India, the United States. Because my numbers are small, it's hard for YouTube to give give me more detailed data other than to say those things. And so when I lay the the three different categorizations of my blog on the overlay of the audience at YouTube, because it's the same bit piece of content. I funny. Humorous funny. In that if any of that is to be believed, and let's say for a second, let's believe it, it would tell me that there are young adult men in Southeast Asia who like to listen to the blogs of a widow talking about music, her daily life. popping off and again on s the spirituality. Not trying to categorize anybody into what I think that they should listen to at all. And of course you're completely dependent on the algorithms of whatever platforms you're distributing. So, you know, if that's who they're shipping my content to and young men in Southeast Asia. Hi, how are ya? Glad you're here. I don't mean to be talking about you in the third person, although clearly I have been for the last few minutes. It is just this feature of modern life to recognize that everything is a manipulation. Doesn't necessarily mean that it's a malicious manipulation, but that what you're seeing and hearing, reading, there's no real way to verify any of that as being truth. Confirmation with Miss Rita. And it's why I view it as sort of my approach all round to my day to day life as a widow, potential target for financial scammers and such. Sure, a lot of people feel that people like myself are vulnerable and therefore easy targets to attack and and then, you know, anybody that throws their oar into that realm that is spirituality or religion opens themselves up for potential abuse if somebody feels like, you know, they're God on earth or something. Confirmation with good God. And then the aspect of music is is sort of baffling in that none of my podcasts feature my music. I only post my improvisations on a couple YouTube playlists and while I do talk about music to a great extent and while I can understand the relationship of putting it on a music podcast chart, I don't talk about anything really specific and it's curious that it's, you know, Kazakhstan that it's being listened to. That might be one person if if if that's a real bit of data. Who knows? It's not about being skeptical. It's just about being very aware that with everything that goes on around us, even with our interactions with people face to face. Yeah, you're having to deal with the fact that you might well be experiencing a manipulation being projected towards you. And that it's important to approach all of those varying experiences with the same level discernment as you do when it's facing somebody in person. I think in a lot of ways we've shut off our BS filter when we're dealing with people online and so therefore I think it's important to spend a little more discernment time with those interactions. Not because they're necessarily overtly and ⁓ malicious, but it's a lot easier to figure out when you're actively aware of the possibility that it is a manipulation. Well, whomever you are and wherever you are located, you are always welcome in this space. The space being defined as widow, who is a music business professional of varying flavors, that lives solo with her dog Rita in southeast New York State, nearby a woods where we get to frolic with bears and bald eagles and mother nature. I blog to keep a daily journal of what goes on in my life, which is pretty mundane stuff, accepting that I'm being categorized in a couple of fairly underrepresented blog categories, which you know, is fine. I'm very grateful that I am seen, even though from a marketing standpoint, I get it, in three different ways. Very balancing. Number three is this wonderfully powerful number. It's not my number, but I do recognize that in terms of the synchronicities that I receive in life, when they come in threes, they are united in their confirmation of whatever is at that moment. I have an open request on my one of my music playlists that you can feel free to drop a few words that are meaningful to you, that are kid friendly. They don't have to be related to one another. The words, not the kid. Never mind. And if you wish to request me to improvise thinking on those phrases or collection of words, I'd be Happy to do that. I've had a couple of responses of engagement, which I find interesting. Keeps me on my toes because as I say, I start off this blogging exercise as a means to fill time that should otherwise be employed being paid for in some way. And that won't change my schedule. If I do find additional work to support my finances, I still will keep this routine going because it's a part of my life now. And I think that's the beauty of a in its essence is that what you see in Here for me is something that we could all do, maybe not to the extent that I do, but to even just take pictures of things that capture your attention each and every day. Is that small gesture of raising your awareness because you're taking that moment to mindfully take that picture? All of that that you do for yourself in terms of the little journaling by taking a picture a day is adding a little dharma around you because it's building that feel-good. in a very genuine way because you're mindfully doing something. I speak on the the wealth of Dharma that you feel when you make yourself a meal from scratch. It doesn't have to be s complicated. And when we do those little things for ourselves in the end, it adds value to our life that is defined by you. I think that's a beautiful thing. Confirmation by Rita. Actually she's probably telling me to shut up, so I will. Thank you for listening. And thanks for your time to do so. I appreciate that. 'Cause I I enjoy making this content and just the fact that you're listening to it is gratifying and appreciated and valued. Thank you.
