- 0:03Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 0:07Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 0:11Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. You know,
- 0:14Speaker 1: I think I ought to explain something to y'all. You
- 0:16Speaker 1: know when I when I wake up in the morning
- 0:18Speaker 1: and I say, dig me, now, what I'm asking you
- 0:22Speaker 1: to do is it's old school, you know, man, And
- 0:24Speaker 1: you know you said old people say I dig you know,
- 0:27Speaker 1: da da da, never stop saying that. I'm sorry, but
- 0:31Speaker 1: dig me now. It's just I want you to I
- 0:33Speaker 1: want you to really feel me. I want you to
- 0:35Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration is
- 0:40Speaker 1: all given in the spirit of sharing and love. It
- 0:43Speaker 1: ain't about to expose me in any way. That's not
- 0:46Speaker 1: the purpose of it. But I found that in my
- 0:49Speaker 1: morning inspiration that is best that I use some things
- 0:53Speaker 1: about myself, because I mean, what better example can I use?
- 0:56Speaker 1: Because I know me, I know what's happened to me.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I know exactly how I felt all along the way
- 1:02Speaker 1: concerning almost everything, every aspect.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Of my life.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I now fully do really understand why God had my
- 1:10Speaker 1: life spend the way it spun. And here's the part
- 1:13Speaker 1: that I want to give to you this morning that
- 1:16Speaker 1: first of all, whatever position you find yourself in today,
- 1:20Speaker 1: we kind of come to one realization that we got
- 1:23Speaker 1: ourselves there. We put ourselves there by a series of
- 1:26Speaker 1: thoughts and actions. Thoughts turn into things. That's very important
- 1:33Speaker 1: to know. So let's look at both sides of it.
- 1:36Speaker 1: For people who think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things,
- 1:44Speaker 1: and the direct opposite is true. For those who think
- 1:48Speaker 1: positive thoughts, it turns into positive things. That's the deal.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It's as simple as that, folks. I cannot break it
- 1:59Speaker 1: down on any cleaner. I cannot make it any clearer.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Thoughts become things. So the one glaring question for all
- 2:10Speaker 1: of us always is on a daily basis, what are
- 2:14Speaker 1: you thinking?
- 2:15Speaker 2: What are your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are
- 2:19Speaker 2: your thoughts?
- 2:21Speaker 1: Because I can assure you and it is not by
- 2:25Speaker 1: a promise of mine. This is not a theory that
- 2:28Speaker 1: Steve Harveyden came up with. This is a fact of life.
- 2:34Speaker 1: This is biblical, this is spiritual, this is written, this
- 2:38Speaker 1: is philosophical, This is the law of the universe. However,
- 2:42Speaker 1: you need to drink this medicine to take to get
- 2:45Speaker 1: it down and feel what I'm saying to you, this
- 2:49Speaker 1: is just the way it is now. And here the
- 2:51Speaker 1: cold part, folks, It don't matter if you believe me
- 2:56Speaker 1: or not. It does not matter if you have never
- 3:00Speaker 1: been explained this or not. And it does not matter
- 3:04Speaker 1: if you think it works in your life or not.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 3:11Speaker 1: it is. It is a scriptural, it is a spiritual,
- 3:15Speaker 1: it is philosophical.
- 3:17Speaker 2: It's just whatever is the law of the universe. You
- 3:20Speaker 2: call whatever you want call.
- 3:21Speaker 1: However, you got to dress this thing up to put
- 3:24Speaker 1: it in a phase that you can feel me.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I want you to feel me now, because this is
- 3:29Speaker 2: all it is.
- 3:30Speaker 1: So when I say that you are where we are
- 3:33Speaker 1: today because we thought ourselves here, are you best to
- 3:36Speaker 1: believe that's true? You thought yourself here, no one else see.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 3:46Speaker 1: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 3:49Speaker 1: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I keep pointing and trying to say it out loud
- 3:59Speaker 1: as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 4:08Speaker 1: by blessings from God.
- 4:10Speaker 2: My life is because God has seen it to be so.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Oh, but I got plenty of people around me want
- 4:16Speaker 1: credit for it and want you to not give credit
- 4:19Speaker 1: to God and give it to them. I got that.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I got that, but I understand that. See, I understand
- 4:25Speaker 1: what that is. That's a person whose design is to
- 4:29Speaker 1: get the credit.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But it's okay. It's so clear to me what my
- 4:34Speaker 2: father was saying to me. Man, I get it.
- 4:36Speaker 1: As I get older and older, he always said to me, son,
- 4:40Speaker 1: everybody come with you can't go with you. See, you know,
- 4:45Speaker 1: I don't know how people say it in church. You
- 4:47Speaker 1: know sometime they go, well, people come into your life
- 4:49Speaker 1: for seasons, and I guess that's same thing. You know,
- 4:52Speaker 1: they seizing up, They gone well, you know, and then
- 4:55Speaker 1: but then Hi, the way they try to hold you though,
- 4:58Speaker 1: or you're gonna forget where you come from. Oh, you
- 5:01Speaker 1: ain't gonna keep it real no more. I don't want
- 5:05Speaker 1: to go back where I come from. I don't want
- 5:08Speaker 1: to keep it that real no more. It was real
- 5:10Speaker 1: enough for me living in the car. I had enough
- 5:12Speaker 1: of that real. I don't wanna keep it real now.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I don't keep it real. I wanna go keep it dreamy.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I want to go keep it fantasized. I want I wanna.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 5:23Speaker 1: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 5:25Speaker 1: keep it moving. I want to keep it ball and
- 5:27Speaker 1: I want to see what that's like. So Nah, I
- 5:30Speaker 1: ain't gonna forget where I come from, but you ain't
- 5:32Speaker 1: gonna hold me to that though See, thoughts become things
- 5:37Speaker 1: all day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the
- 5:42Speaker 1: things that you want written down? What do you think
- 5:45Speaker 1: about the most? How grateful are you for what all
- 5:49Speaker 1: God has done for you? Where you at with that?
- 5:53Speaker 2: See?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Here hear another law? If thoughts become things, Let me
- 5:59Speaker 1: ask you this. If all you thinking about is your debt,
- 6:04Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about is what you ain't God,
- 6:07Speaker 1: If all you thinking.
- 6:08Speaker 2: About or is all woe is me? If all you
- 6:11Speaker 2: thinking about is every time I turn around, I'm sick.
- 6:14Speaker 1: If all you thinking about it's the things in life
- 6:19Speaker 1: that you're lacking. If that's all you thinking about, and
- 6:24Speaker 1: if thoughts become things, how much debt you think you're
- 6:29Speaker 1: gonna stay in?
- 6:30Speaker 2: How much?
- 6:31Speaker 1: How much how much lacking you think you're finna fill
- 6:34Speaker 1: your life with? How much most stuff you fin to
- 6:38Speaker 1: not have because you keep thinking about it all the time.
- 6:44Speaker 1: When you're gonna be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you,
- 6:48Speaker 1: when it's gonna come out your mouth, Man, that I
- 6:52Speaker 1: may not be where I want to be, but I
- 6:54Speaker 1: show am grateful for what you've given me so far,
- 6:58Speaker 1: for the things I have today, because I don't have
- 7:01Speaker 1: to have these things.
- 7:02Speaker 2: You know what that does?
- 7:03Speaker 1: That then opens up room for more stuff to come
- 7:07Speaker 1: your way. To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna
- 7:09Speaker 1: be ungrateful, ah, man, let me ask you something. I
- 7:12Speaker 1: ain't God, I don't claim to be, But let me
- 7:15Speaker 1: ask you something man. If you ungrateful for the things
- 7:18Speaker 1: we got, If we can't show no gratitude for what
- 7:22Speaker 1: we have, why would God.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Give us some most stuff to be ungrateful for? What
- 7:27Speaker 2: would he do that for? Tadda?
- 7:31Speaker 1: Anybody feel me right now? So when I say come on,
- 7:34Speaker 1: y'all dig me? Now? Do you understand why I say
- 7:37Speaker 1: dig me because I want you to feel me. I
- 7:38Speaker 1: want you to understand and come to the understanding, not
- 7:41Speaker 1: saying you ain't. Because there's so many people got a
- 7:43Speaker 1: deeper understanding than me about this whole thing.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I promise you. They do, but they listen to me.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get you to walk up in
- 7:50Speaker 1: this light, man, so you can go on with your
- 7:52Speaker 1: life and quit tripping yourself out with your thoughts, because
- 7:55Speaker 1: thoughts become things, all right.
- 7:57Speaker 2: All day you're listening to The Steve Harvey Morning Show
