- 0:01Heavenly Father, I come before you today with
- 0:05an open heart. You know every loss I have experienced,
- 0:11every disappointment I have carried, every door
- 0:15that closed, and every tear I tried to hide from
- 0:20the people around me. Nothing in my life is hidden
- 0:26from you. You understand the memories that still
- 0:31hurt, the plans that did not happen, the relationships
- 0:37that changed, and the seasons when I felt that
- 0:42I had lost more than I could bear. I place all
- 0:47of it in your hands. Your word reminds me in
- 0:55Joel chapter 2, verse 25, that you were able
- 1:00to restore the years that were lost. I hold onto
- 1:05this promise with humility and faith. I do not
- 1:10ask you to erase my story or make me forget every
- 1:14difficult season. I ask you to meet me in the
- 1:20middle of it. Heal what is wounded. Teach me
- 1:24what I need to learn. Be prepared for me. Become
- 1:35discouraged. Know my hope. I have become tired.
- 1:41Strengthen my spirit. Restore the peace that
- 1:54worry has stolen from my heart. Quiet the thoughts
- 1:59that keep returning to yesterday. Help me stop
- 2:04punishing myself for decisions I made. Give me
- 2:14wisdom to accept what cannot be changed. Courage
- 2:19to repair what can be repaired. And patience
- 2:23to allow healing to take place in its proper
- 2:26time. I refuse to believe that one painful chapter
- 2:34must define the whole story of my life. With
- 2:39your help, I can rise again. I pray for anyone
- 2:56listening who has lost a job, a friendship, a
- 3:06relationship, a dream that once gave them hope.
- 3:12You know how deeply these things can affect the
- 3:14heart. Please provide what is needed for each
- 3:18new day, indoors that are right and good, and
- 3:26give us discernment to recognize doors that should
- 3:29remain closed. An opportunity ends. Bitterness
- 3:37from taking root within a help us trust is not
- 3:44measured by a title, a position, another person's
- 3:50approval, or a season of success. Restore our
- 4:02strength when disappointment has left us feeling
- 4:04empty. Help us rise in the morning with courage
- 4:09to do the next right thing. If we must begin
- 4:14again, give us humility to start small. If we
- 4:21must wait, give us patience without despair.
- 4:28If we must apologize, give us the courage to
- 4:32speak honestly. If we must forgive, help us release
- 4:39the burden of resentment without pretending.
- 4:47Just set wise boundaries. Make responsible choices,
- 4:59helping us rebuild. God of Mercy. bring before
- 5:07you the needs of my family. Where there's been
- 5:12conflict, guide us toward honest conversations
- 5:15and understanding. Where there's been fear about
- 5:20money, help us make wise plans and seek help
- 5:25when necessary. Where grief has entered our home,
- 5:33each heart in a personal way. When someone feels
- 5:38alone, send caring people who will listen and
- 5:42stand beside them. Help us become instruments
- 5:48of your kindness. Ask you to restore my faith.
- 6:08Unanswered questions have made me weary. Sometimes
- 6:14I cannot understand why a good plan failed. or
- 6:19why a season of suffering lasted so long for
- 6:25every reason. Instead, my questions to you in
- 6:35faithful steps teach me to notice the quiet gifts
- 6:46that remain another day to begin, and the possibility
- 6:59of doing good may recover the time I trapped
- 7:10in fear and regret, but with your guidance.
