Sunday, 8 February 2026 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” Matthew 16:22 “And Peter, having clutched Him, he began to admonish Him, saying, ‘Propitious, to You, Lord! No, not it will be, this to You!’” (CG). In the previous verse, Jesus told the disciples about the trials ahead for Him in Jerusalem, including being killed.
