Ford’s recalling over 741,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to a dangerous transmission flaw that could cause cars to roll away unexpectedly—putting drivers, passengers, and others at risk. Affected models include the F-150, Lincoln Aviator, Explorer, Navigator, and Expedition from 2018–2021. The issue stems from the transmission briefly engaging the park pawl while moving, damaging the park system. Ford has logged 24 property damage reports and 9 injuries.
