- 0:03Speaker 2: He's marks amone on seventor. Well, let's take some calls.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Let's go to Jan and Long Island. Jan. How you doing.
- 0:18Speaker 3: I'm doing fine. How are you doing?
- 0:21Speaker 2: Let me check? Not bad?
- 0:24Speaker 3: Okay. I'm glad to hear as I'm calling because Charlie
- 0:28Speaker 3: Kirk wrote a book that was kind of I think
- 0:30Speaker 3: he called it The College Hoax or something like that.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I actually had the book and it was the first
- 0:37Speaker 3: of its kind that I ever saw, you know, and
- 0:40Speaker 3: it was only I think it's only a couple of
- 0:41Speaker 3: years old or something like that. And all of a sudden,
- 0:45Speaker 3: I'm hearing on a couple of different stations I listened
- 0:48Speaker 3: to OR and ABC that there's this other guy that's
- 0:52Speaker 3: got an anti college book out.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Well, it's an psychologe. We've been doing that here for
- 0:57Speaker 2: a few years. It's just a lot of people don't
- 0:59Speaker 2: need to go to college. In fact, tech schools would
- 1:02Speaker 2: be a much better idea for a lot of kids.
- 1:04Speaker 2: We've had university professors tell us they agree that forty
- 1:07Speaker 2: percent of their students don't belong in some supid Ivy
- 1:10Speaker 2: League college, go to a tech school, learn a real skill.
- 1:14Speaker 3: No, I've been hearing that on the radio, but this
- 1:17Speaker 3: was in a book by Charlie kirk All.
- 1:21Speaker 2: We got that part. But it's a good idea for
- 1:23Speaker 2: a lot of kids tech school. Hey. Also, you send
- 1:26Speaker 2: the kid to college for four years, it's going to
- 1:28Speaker 2: be a two hundred and fifty thousand. If you go
- 1:30Speaker 2: to tech school, it's like one tenth of that. Also,
- 1:33Speaker 2: you get out of college with your Ivy League philosophy degree,
- 1:36Speaker 2: and you're going to go back and live in your parents'
- 1:38Speaker 2: house for ten years. You get out of tech school,
- 1:40Speaker 2: they'll put you to work the next day. They'll get
- 1:42Speaker 2: your job right away. Let's go to Shannon in Belmore. Shannon,
- 1:47Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark. I wonder if you could tell me
- 1:52Speaker 1: what was behind Trump willing to release the Honduran drug lord.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I can't under stand that.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Oh, well, you're gonna see a lot of he just
- 2:02Speaker 2: pardoned a little while ago a lawmaker in Texas was
- 2:06Speaker 2: convicted of bribery. Uh. Sometimes he just thinks the guy
- 2:11Speaker 2: did enough punishment a part, But a lot of times
- 2:14Speaker 2: it's somebody a donor or a big member of Congress,
- 2:17Speaker 2: who calls you and asks you for this as a favor.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So you know, uh, money was involved.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, not with Trump, but it's a favor to somebody.
- 2:26Speaker 2: You need to do a favor. Ford, it's a good question.
- 2:29Speaker 2: You know, there's a guy in Long Island got convicted
- 2:32Speaker 2: of uh swindling people. You know, you got, i know,
- 2:36Speaker 2: some kind of financial white collar crime. And the guy
- 2:38Speaker 2: was a convicted sentenced to prison. So Trump just pardoned him. Now,
- 2:42Speaker 2: a lot of times that's a favorite. You know, if
- 2:45Speaker 2: you got the right friends, you can get yourself a pardon.
- 2:48Speaker 2: If you're a major, major, major donor, you listen, I
- 2:51Speaker 2: need a favor. They'll look over the pardon and if
- 2:55Speaker 2: it's uh, if it's not too outrageous, they'll give it
- 2:58Speaker 2: to you. It's a favorite of the donor. But many,
- 3:01Speaker 2: many times it's a major figure in Congress or in
- 3:04Speaker 2: government calls you. You know, if a major congress has
- 3:07Speaker 2: got somebody in this district, that's usually the case, somebody
- 3:11Speaker 2: in their district they need a pardon. And this happens
- 3:13Speaker 2: with the Democrat Republican presidents. I need to get this
- 3:17Speaker 2: guy pardon. Now. They then weigh it, how do I
- 3:20Speaker 2: need this congressman. Yeah, I'm gonna need him for about
- 3:23Speaker 2: twenty different votes. I'm gonna need his vote, so they'll
- 3:26Speaker 2: do the favor for you. It happens all the time. Now,
- 3:28Speaker 2: it's really outrageous. They'll say they can't do it, but
- 3:31Speaker 2: you know, the most glaring example was Mark Rich, the
- 3:34Speaker 2: financier who got caught in all kinds of crime, and
- 3:39Speaker 2: he's so bad that he fled the country. There's no
- 3:41Speaker 2: way he's gonna even try to beat these charges. He fled.
- 3:44Speaker 2: He went to Switzerland and they were chasing him all
- 3:47Speaker 2: over the world. They tried to arrest him in Israel.
- 3:49Speaker 2: They tried to arrest him here, but they could. They're
- 3:51Speaker 2: chasing this guy. He's a fugitive on the lamb. But
- 3:53Speaker 2: the Rich family massive donors to the Clintons, massive donors,
- 3:59Speaker 2: so they want to her husband pardon and it was
- 4:02Speaker 2: so outrageous. Clinton waited till like his last day in
- 4:05Speaker 2: office and then did the When he did the Mark
- 4:07Speaker 2: Rich pardon, somebody in the Justice Department has to sign off.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Everybody refused to sign off. They finally found one guy
- 4:15Speaker 2: who was willing to sign that pardon. It was a
- 4:18Speaker 2: junior guy named Eric Holder. Who was later rewarded with
- 4:22Speaker 2: the Attorney General. Hey, when we come back, Ann Coulter
- 4:24Speaker 2: will be with us next. Lots to talk to her
- 4:27Speaker 2: about coming up in a moment on seven to ten
- 4:29Speaker 2: wor
