- 0:40Speaker 8: You may began, Welcome, Welcome, welco.
- 0:46Speaker 4: I'm me listening to.
- 0:47Speaker 1: The Sports Shock Show. I am the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Good morning to you. How is your week going. I
- 0:55Speaker 1: hope it is wonderful as we uh, you know, wake
- 0:59Speaker 1: up and get over the Olympics. You know, it's a
- 1:02Speaker 1: couple of stories still in the headlines about returning medals
- 1:07Speaker 1: and people getting sued. But that's just regular life in America,
- 1:11Speaker 1: you know, crime and punishment, that's what we do, schemes,
- 1:17Speaker 1: that's you know, that's regular. I'm not about the Olympics,
- 1:20Speaker 1: but we do have to wake up. It seems like
- 1:23Speaker 1: the Olympics happened so long ago, but it was just
- 1:26Speaker 1: four or five days ago. They closed so we are here.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Week two preseason is upon us. Tonight you had a
- 1:35Speaker 1: great game between the Eagles and the Patriots. Probably see
- 1:38Speaker 1: a couple of more starters, a couple of more regulars
- 1:41Speaker 1: in there to get this second week kicked off. But
- 1:46Speaker 1: a great game tomorrow night. I have to do a
- 1:49Speaker 1: little self advertising for myself tomorrow night. If you're in well,
- 1:54Speaker 1: I keep thinking, if you're in the Atlanta area, but
- 1:57Speaker 1: I forgot. It's twenty twenty four. You can be on
- 1:59Speaker 1: Mars if you choose to watch any good high school
- 2:02Speaker 1: football tomorrow night. Maybe the game of the year already
- 2:08Speaker 1: already the game. Hey, the same thing. I asked the
- 2:12Speaker 1: coaches what Matt Jeans decided to do this? The two
- 2:17Speaker 1: best teams in the state of Georgia play tomorrow night
- 2:21Speaker 1: at seven point thirty Milton versus Buford Beufort coming to
- 2:26Speaker 1: Milton to play. Milton won the state championship in seven
- 2:30Speaker 1: eight last year, and college scouts will be abound. There
- 2:36Speaker 1: be about between the junior and senior classes, thirty five
- 2:43Speaker 1: college athletes out there. It's a I don't know how
- 2:47Speaker 1: they made this mad chemistry off the back. I'm happy
- 2:50Speaker 1: to be a part of it. Beaufort is ranked twelfth
- 2:54Speaker 1: in the nation, second in the state the nation. Craig
- 2:58Speaker 1: Milton is ranked sick in the nation coast, first in
- 3:03Speaker 1: the state. Right off the bat, you got six in
- 3:06Speaker 1: the nation versus twelve. You got the perennial power of Beauford,
- 3:11Speaker 1: who have won about twenty five state championships over the
- 3:16Speaker 1: last thirty years. Do the math. That means they once
- 3:20Speaker 1: in a while they take a little little snooze and
- 3:22Speaker 1: let you know, just so y'all won't say they chieave.
- 3:28Speaker 9: Milton win Heuford wins them, then they let Milton win
- 3:32Speaker 9: two because you.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Know, what to be a monopoly, and they go to
- 3:36Speaker 1: court and being up in front of the federal drudge
- 3:39Speaker 1: you know, you know, America don't like you to be
- 3:42Speaker 1: a winner. They don't like you to dominate too much.
- 3:46Speaker 1: It goes against their sensibilities when you get too close.
- 3:50Speaker 1: When it's when it's uh not. You know, we hated
- 3:54Speaker 1: the Patriots. We found things to throw at the patriots.
- 3:59Speaker 9: What is it?
- 4:00Speaker 1: All winners fatigue with people? Chad, they got tired. You
- 4:02Speaker 1: would hear people you would sit I know I would,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and and because I'm one of those people when people
- 4:07Speaker 1: make a statement. I always wonder why I hate the
- 4:10Speaker 1: patron man. They always win. That would make no sense.
- 4:17Speaker 1: They used to hate the spurs Man. What you hate
- 4:20Speaker 1: spurs San Antonio spurs Man him dunking them always win.
- 4:24Speaker 9: That's why Donald Trump say, that's why people hate him
- 4:27Speaker 9: because he win and all the time.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It's strong and huge. You don't like winners. You don't
- 4:33Speaker 1: like winners. But tomorrow night, gp B seven thirty Draft kingsful,
- 4:45Speaker 1: I guess his lined up?
- 4:47Speaker 9: Yeah, come on, man, that's why he got him. On
- 4:50Speaker 9: the first game of the first Friday high school football
- 4:53Speaker 9: somebody came here like, wait a minute, Wait a minute,
- 4:55Speaker 9: wait a minute. If this is the number six and
- 4:58Speaker 9: number twelve team in the nation open the same state
- 5:01Speaker 9: one and two.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Let's run that bike. Yeah. Yeah, we thought we would
- 5:05Speaker 1: lose this game to ESPN because they tried. Because they did.
- 5:10Speaker 1: They try. They even take every year they seem to
- 5:13Speaker 1: come in and poach our big game in the state.
- 5:17Speaker 1: But this game here is something people thought was gonna
- 5:20Speaker 1: be in the state championship last year. And it's just
- 5:24Speaker 1: a whole bunch of stars. I could sit here and
- 5:27Speaker 1: names that you will see in the future from wide receivers.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It's gonna be all kind of guys you've seen already.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It's six seven, three and thirty pounds old lineman, it's
- 5:38Speaker 1: six y five receivers. It's cornerbacks that run for two
- 5:43Speaker 1: safeties that two hundred and ten pounds. It's a lot
- 5:46Speaker 1: going on for a high school football games. I'm not
- 5:49Speaker 1: even gonna try to get it all in. I'm just
- 5:51Speaker 1: gonna be I might get caught up watching now sports
- 5:53Speaker 1: jock with that, which is the worst thing for a
- 5:55Speaker 1: player play by play guy? Yes, and what do you think?
- 5:59Speaker 9: What do you think worked out? Huh, man, it's a
- 6:03Speaker 9: good game. Passed me some popcorn? Is this proprietary information
- 6:09Speaker 9: or what prevented ESPN from poaching the game?
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm sure they had the pocket. Most likely it was
- 6:17Speaker 1: it was they may have got in with another school.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Milton is a team that we call several times last year.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Buford is the same way. I think that kind of
- 6:28Speaker 1: went a long way with them choosing. ESPN comes in
- 6:33Speaker 1: with a little bigger budget, which is and I think
- 6:37Speaker 1: they have the young kid Juju Lewis maybe his game
- 6:42Speaker 1: tomorrow or next week that they will have on air.
- 6:47Speaker 1: And I think Milton might be a national game on
- 6:49Speaker 1: ESPN next week as well, playing a team out of
- 6:52Speaker 1: floor American Heritage or one of those big schools. But
- 6:56Speaker 1: these two teams, I just want to make sure I
- 6:58Speaker 1: wasn't talking about ranking the state next rank nationally at
- 7:02Speaker 1: least to start the season.
- 7:04Speaker 9: Off all fifty United States territories, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
- 7:12Speaker 1: So a good game on tap if they start the
- 7:16Speaker 1: high school season here in Georgia dog TV, dog TV,
- 7:24Speaker 1: I start there, commands you, because I always feel like
- 7:26Speaker 1: this is something that you should have brought to me,
- 7:29Speaker 1: so I would know that even exists d a w
- 7:32Speaker 1: g TV like Georgia Bulldog TV, bulldog Q, dog TV,
- 7:40Speaker 1: br be out. There's a channel called dedicated to dogs,
- 7:45Speaker 1: like animal dog the animal dog kind got the TV station.
- 7:52Speaker 1: None of you knew that's called tv TV. I am
- 7:56Speaker 1: not familiar with them. Oh I don't, Dolph, And you
- 8:00Speaker 1: know when you doze off on a show. I had
- 8:02Speaker 1: pushed pauls dog TV. Pushing Paul, no I wint on
- 8:08Speaker 1: dog TV. I was watching something. I want to take
- 8:12Speaker 1: a quick little nap. I put the TV on Paul
- 8:14Speaker 1: so I wouldn't miss the rest of the show. I
- 8:17Speaker 1: was watching, and as I woke after my little thirty minutes,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I looked up, and you know, after you put the
- 8:23Speaker 1: TV on pause, if you don't hit play, it starts
- 8:28Speaker 1: showing you different advertisements. Yeah, like a like a screensaver.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I look it says dog TV, and it was telling
- 8:36Speaker 1: is dougus if you didn't know, like dog in August
- 8:42Speaker 1: dougas whoa, whoa, And I got a pause for that one.
- 8:52Speaker 1: So I look up and they were offering a channel
- 8:54Speaker 1: so that when Big Kenny leaves home and he's leaving
- 8:58Speaker 1: his K nine friends.
- 9:00Speaker 9: There, he can turn the TV on for him for
- 9:05Speaker 9: when I need to flee. Listen, listen, this is the thing.
- 9:09Speaker 9: Dogs don't watch TV.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I got a dog. They don't watch TV. But this
- 9:14Speaker 1: is the thing.
- 9:14Speaker 9: If people will go for it, they'll do it near
- 9:18Speaker 9: where I live. Now, coming in twenty twenty five, they
- 9:21Speaker 9: are planning a dog park slash bar combo called.
- 9:29Speaker 1: The dog Bar Dog Bars slash bar bar.
- 9:36Speaker 9: So I can pull up, get me at a beer
- 9:39Speaker 9: or a shot or both, and my dog can dog
- 9:44Speaker 9: stuff whatever dogs do at bars.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 9:47Speaker 9: I've seen them in like home depot, I've seen them
- 9:50Speaker 9: in grocery stores and big box stores. But I've never
- 9:56Speaker 9: seen a dog like just pony up to the bar,
- 10:00Speaker 9: So this will be interesting. And I thought like, who
- 10:02Speaker 9: does that? But people who have dogs and can't leave
- 10:07Speaker 9: them at home while they go drinking, I suppose will
- 10:09Speaker 9: be the patronage. So we'll see how dog TV works
- 10:12Speaker 9: because a lot of people just leave the TV on
- 10:15Speaker 9: for the dog. Now they can feel like they're doing
- 10:17Speaker 9: it specifically with dog content. He doesn't have to watch
- 10:21Speaker 9: violence or game shows or sports. Your dog can actually
- 10:25Speaker 9: watch dog friendly content.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Well, they say they we are not just TV, but
- 10:32Speaker 1: the first channel created to bring relaxing video and music
- 10:39Speaker 1: for dogs, created specifically for a K nine audience.
- 10:46Speaker 9: So when you walk in and all you hear is
- 10:48Speaker 9: sexy red, you're just gonna be like, see when did
- 10:52Speaker 9: my dog stop listening to gardy me? You know, you
- 10:55Speaker 9: know it's only gonna be the songs that they get
- 10:58Speaker 9: paid to play. Ever, in doubt, whenever a tragedy strikes
- 11:03Speaker 9: and you think it's at its worst, remember dog TV.
- 11:08Speaker 9: Just stand for the flag.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Amen. Amen.
- 11:11Speaker 9: You live in a country, amen, Amen, Today ain't just
- 11:15Speaker 9: standing for somebody? Somebody was out there scamming and counterfeiting
- 11:19Speaker 9: and thought, you know what, I'm gonna go straight and
- 11:21Speaker 9: start dog TV.
- 11:23Speaker 1: And he's thinking, man, this is way better than a
- 11:25Speaker 1: life of crime. Dog TV. So they can have relaxing
- 11:29Speaker 1: music because your music ain't relaxing. Relaxing relaxing music. And
- 11:33Speaker 1: what kind of videos? We say, what kind of video
- 11:37Speaker 1: like friendly? A nine friendly video? What does that mean? Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 1: I don't know. Greg could do the research for us
- 11:46Speaker 1: and have an answer next week. No birds, no squirrels,
- 11:50Speaker 1: no cats, no cats on the video. Yes, back more

- 15:43Speaker 1: on the ones and one, since there's no two h
- 15:49Speaker 1: on the one you know from from from from age
- 15:53Speaker 1: birth to thirty, it was the one in them too,
- 15:57Speaker 1: and then the millenials came and just to turn into
- 16:00Speaker 1: a pad with lights. Now you the one. Ain't no,
- 16:04Speaker 1: ain't no crates, ain't no, ain't no nothing. Do you
- 16:07Speaker 1: know into the DJ both messing up the song? Do
- 16:11Speaker 1: you know that you have eliminated jobs? Let me tell
- 16:15Speaker 1: you something.
- 16:16Speaker 9: During my college years, had little rap group called the
- 16:19Speaker 9: Regular Fellas. We used to go to the parties sponsored
- 16:22Speaker 9: by famous DJ now DJ grigg Street. The way I
- 16:26Speaker 9: would get into the party free Street. Let me carry
- 16:29Speaker 9: you records. Yeah man, this my record crew. We'd get
- 16:33Speaker 9: in free. Can't do that with you, command, you can't
- 16:36Speaker 9: do that with you. I'm just standing there like, hey man,
- 16:38Speaker 9: I need to carry his pad and people now they
- 16:43Speaker 9: want to jump on me, like and they get out
- 16:45Speaker 9: of here. Bro, we don't do that here.
- 16:48Speaker 1: If I had a booth that I had to I
- 16:52Speaker 1: had to bring my own booth. We said we were
- 16:54Speaker 1: talking about Olympian someon Bowels has dazzled us at the
- 17:00Speaker 1: Olympics last two three Olympics. I don't know that there's
- 17:04Speaker 1: any Olympic medal she doesn't have. But her mother has
- 17:11Speaker 1: jumped into the spotlight over the last couple of days.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Jumping in an interview is Shannon, her birth mother, begging
- 17:27Speaker 1: the gymnast for forgiveness after decades long estrangement. Shannon fifty
- 17:34Speaker 1: two years old, who in the past and basically admits
- 17:41Speaker 1: that she had a drug problem and that's why she
- 17:46Speaker 1: had to give up her children, is asking for another chance. Now.
- 17:52Speaker 1: One thing I always tell people, stop begging people not
- 17:57Speaker 1: to judge on your past. That is a ridiculous statement.
- 18:07Speaker 1: They are going to judge you on your past. It's
- 18:10Speaker 1: human nature. But you hope is they give you a
- 18:15Speaker 1: chance to show you that you have grown from your past.
- 18:20Speaker 1: But we as humans, our spider sense is already wired
- 18:25Speaker 1: in us. We evaluate everything. You say, you call it
- 18:31Speaker 1: profiling to make it negative, But to be human is
- 18:36Speaker 1: to evaluate your circumstances, your situations in fact around you.
- 18:41Speaker 1: That is that's in all of us is wired. It's
- 18:44Speaker 1: natural observation is natural. Using it against somebody, holding it
- 18:51Speaker 1: against somebody. It starts when it rolls into starting being wrong.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But to act like I don't see something on your face,
- 18:59Speaker 1: or and read an article about you being a car thief,
- 19:03Speaker 1: and now you want to park Michael, see, I'm not profiling.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm observing that thief. And I'm taking what I've seen
- 19:16Speaker 1: and heard along with what I'm seeing and hearing. Now right,
- 19:22Speaker 1: if the news broadcast there's a shadowy figure who loves
- 19:26Speaker 1: just standing in front of Willie's Mexican restaurant. Now, go
- 19:31Speaker 1: to get me a taco, and a shadow figure is
- 19:35Speaker 1: standing in front that people are going to evaluate and
- 19:46Speaker 1: now you hear what I'm saying, evaluate your past. That's
- 19:50Speaker 1: what they're gonna do. Now what they do with that?
- 19:53Speaker 1: But don't be trying. I have to. I gotta get
- 19:56Speaker 1: a sense of who and what I'm dealing with. That's
- 20:02Speaker 1: what that's all it is really called. But in this case,
- 20:05Speaker 1: it's not so much that the mom. This is happens
- 20:09Speaker 1: to a lot of people. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, all
- 20:13Speaker 1: try to get back in each other's lives. Things go wrong.
- 20:16Speaker 1: You hope that you live long enough to maybe get
- 20:19Speaker 1: a chance. My question too, if you is more of
- 20:25Speaker 1: should she have taken this to any kind of meeting? No,
- 20:30Speaker 1: if I'm trying to guess, that's all my you know,
- 20:32Speaker 1: not that you're trying. You know, we all go full
- 20:36Speaker 1: circle and your father can come back, your mother a
- 20:39Speaker 1: long lost friend that you used to you know, and
- 20:41Speaker 1: want to make amends. But do they go to the media.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I've had.
- 20:49Speaker 9: Experiences with people who have had experiences like this where
- 20:54Speaker 9: someone has requested or wanted to come back into someone's life,
- 21:00Speaker 9: and they did it in a similar fashion, went to
- 21:03Speaker 9: someone else to tell them that I really wish they
- 21:07Speaker 9: would give me a second chance. The person with whom
- 21:10Speaker 9: they were requesting the second chance from took it as
- 21:13Speaker 9: some sort of peer pressure. Oh, so you gonna get
- 21:17Speaker 9: people to shame me into giving you a second chance.
- 21:20Speaker 9: You're gonna guilt me into wanting to come and see you.
- 21:24Speaker 9: Why didn't you just reach out to me. You know
- 21:28Speaker 9: my number, you know how to get in touch with me.
- 21:30Speaker 9: I just haven't been picking up the phone. I haven't
- 21:33Speaker 9: been returning your calls. Why not say to me, now, Hey,
- 21:37Speaker 9: I'm in a better place. Can we but to go
- 21:40Speaker 9: to the media. It seems like, and I'm just projecting
- 21:43Speaker 9: because we do that as human beings, that there is
- 21:46Speaker 9: something else attached to your desire to reconnect. You want
- 21:50Speaker 9: some fame, you want some fortune, You want to capitalize
- 21:54Speaker 9: on what you thought you never missed. So now that
- 21:58Speaker 9: it's now that I'm some own biles the gymnast, all
- 22:02Speaker 9: of a sudden, I've had it.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I've had to change other Greg. You go, you build
- 22:06Speaker 1: a relationship and if that person is in the spotlight
- 22:12Speaker 1: then wants to introduce you, yes, back in my life,
- 22:16Speaker 1: then we do that. Correct, Yes, we do, because right
- 22:18Speaker 1: now it seems that you're trying to put another layer
- 22:21Speaker 1: of pressure on me to call Yeah. So you know,

- 24:02Speaker 11: Daisy was abandoned by her family and placed in foster
- 24:05Speaker 11: care at fifteen years old. Her life was full of uncertainty.
- 24:11Speaker 11: She thought she'd never have a permanent place to call home.
- 24:15Speaker 15: Before I was adopted, I felt like I wasn't enough.
- 24:19Speaker 15: I had this hole in my heart and I never
- 24:21Speaker 15: knew what I needed to patch that hole, But when
- 24:24Speaker 15: my mom asked to adopt me, that hole was closed.
- 24:27Speaker 15: It feels so normal now to say that I'm a
- 24:29Speaker 15: part of this family. I am surrounded by love, I
- 24:32Speaker 15: feel safe, and that hole inside of me is gone.
- 24:36Speaker 4: I am whole.
- 24:38Speaker 15: I'm finally enough, just as I am.

- 25:07Speaker 16: riding the unicycle. Sounds ridiculous, right, but guess what? That's
- 25:11Speaker 16: exactly what texting while.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Driving is like.
- 25:13Speaker 16: Your human brain only has the capacity to focus on
- 25:16Speaker 16: one thing at a time, So when you're behind the wheel,
- 25:19Speaker 16: give driving your undivided attention.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Don't drive distracted.
- 25:23Speaker 2: A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic
- 25:25Speaker 2: Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the ad Council.
- 25:33Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wring any.
- 25:39Speaker 12: In the red zone, we WI show stop.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Will take it. Whom.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome back to this one Shock show. I'm this
- 26:21Speaker 1: moy Shock wing gin to comand you Greg Big Kenny
- 26:23Speaker 1: in the studio with me this morning. Good morning to
- 26:27Speaker 1: you out there. We left talking about Simon Vows, her mother, Shannon,
- 26:31Speaker 1: the fifty two year old going basically to the media
- 26:36Speaker 1: and begging for a second chance with her daughter. At
- 26:42Speaker 1: this point in Simone Vow's life, who's what twenty seven,
- 26:46Speaker 1: twenty eight years of age and Simone coming off another
- 26:50Speaker 1: three or four gold medals from the Olympics, a silver
- 26:55Speaker 1: as well, and Big Kenny and I was wangleyan that
- 27:00Speaker 1: basically from the media standpoint, not going to get into
- 27:04Speaker 1: the mother and what happened and all that. Just right
- 27:06Speaker 1: when you're looking for this kind of forgiveness, when you're
- 27:09Speaker 1: should this be something that you publicize or it should
- 27:12Speaker 1: be something that you just have to deal with until
- 27:16Speaker 1: the person wants to embrace you again, right and if
- 27:19Speaker 1: that person's in the spotlight and then they want to
- 27:23Speaker 1: come and say that y'all have resolved things, that's the
- 27:29Speaker 1: power in which they should have and not something where
- 27:32Speaker 1: you seem to be using the media as we have
- 27:36Speaker 1: learned to do now and as a weapon. We have
- 27:39Speaker 1: weaponized the media in a lot of ways, and now,
- 27:44Speaker 1: in my opinion, doing it that way sort of speaks
- 27:50Speaker 1: of you feel like this person's obligated to return my
- 27:57Speaker 1: feeling of the friendship, the relationship. I should be obligated
- 28:07Speaker 1: to honor your desire to make things better. Sometimes it
- 28:11Speaker 1: just is what it is.
- 28:13Speaker 9: And I understand things were different then and we I've
- 28:17Speaker 9: changed or you've changed, but some people feel how they
- 28:20Speaker 9: feel and will feel that way forever. You have to
- 28:23Speaker 9: forgive yourself for a lot of that stuff and then
- 28:27Speaker 9: seek forgiveness from others, and if that's possible, go forward.
- 28:31Speaker 9: But I don't ever think that going to the public.
- 28:34Speaker 9: I'm sure some of that may backfire. They start asking
- 28:38Speaker 9: her questions, she's not ready to answer.
- 28:40Speaker 1: COMMANDI greg you you talked about Simon Bios teammate Jordan Chiles,
- 28:47Speaker 1: and you're trying to melt the bronze medal and you're
- 28:53Speaker 1: gonna make like five medals. What did did you say?
- 28:55Speaker 4: Three?
- 28:56Speaker 1: You're gonna make three medals out of one medal? So
- 28:59Speaker 1: we have a third, fourth, and fifth place. Yes, Oh,
- 29:04Speaker 1: it's been proposed, been proposed. Consolation pride. This is truly
- 29:09Speaker 1: the trophy generation to make good on the murkiness that
- 29:13Speaker 1: is judging gymnastics, which has always been very scrutinized gymnastics
- 29:22Speaker 1: and ice skating, where two sports has always been like
- 29:28Speaker 1: very so subjective. Yeah, because nobody is so important.
- 29:33Speaker 9: And nobody really knows what it means when they go on.
- 29:36Speaker 9: They took a quarter of a point because he didn't pike.
- 29:40Speaker 9: What is he supposed to be doing that in the pool?
- 29:43Speaker 9: You see what I'm saying, Like, I don't think that's
- 29:45Speaker 9: allowed for him to be piking in here. But they
- 29:48Speaker 9: always say that stuff. She didn't get her full axle,
- 29:51Speaker 9: So now it what is an axle?
- 29:53Speaker 1: Is that like a twist?
- 29:54Speaker 9: What do you and And so when they come out
- 29:56Speaker 9: with this stuff, we're confused and maybe this sounds it's
- 30:00Speaker 9: like something they ought to give a shot. But at
- 30:02Speaker 9: the end of the day, it's a consolation prize. I
- 30:05Speaker 9: think that you put so many of those little terms
- 30:07Speaker 9: and phrases in front of it, with the points and
- 30:10Speaker 9: the decimals, that we forget that you're actually giving a
- 30:13Speaker 9: fourth and fifth place in the Olympics.
- 30:15Speaker 1: So are they saying that the third, fourth and fifth
- 30:19Speaker 1: person all had the same score well.
- 30:23Speaker 17: No, so where Jordan Child's where she originally finished before
- 30:28Speaker 17: any kind of appeal would have been fifth the end.
- 30:33Speaker 17: So but after her routine, you have the coach. Your
- 30:40Speaker 17: coach has one minute to appeal that he she should
- 30:44Speaker 17: get a higher score because she did this. You have
- 30:46Speaker 17: one minute to appeal that. So they put in the appeal.
- 30:52Speaker 17: She got an extra point zero zero five or something
- 30:56Speaker 17: like that. So that took her from fifth to third, and.
- 31:00Speaker 1: She knocked out the lady from Romania. Correct, okay, wait,
- 31:04Speaker 1: you jumped two people would appoint zero zero.
- 31:07Speaker 17: It was that's that's how close it was. But then
- 31:11Speaker 17: it came back that well, they didn't send in the
- 31:13Speaker 17: appeal in time. They were four seconds late. And then
- 31:20Speaker 17: the US came back with if you look at the tape,
- 31:24Speaker 17: we got it in in time. But then it went
- 31:27Speaker 17: to an arbitrator and the arbitrator said, you know, the
- 31:30Speaker 17: ruling is final. She drops the fifth and then they
- 31:35Speaker 17: find out that the either the arbitrator or someone associated
- 31:40Speaker 17: with the judges is connected to Romania, which would have
- 31:43Speaker 17: given you know, because now the Romanian gymnast is third. Like, okay,
- 31:48Speaker 17: that's a conflict of interest.
- 31:50Speaker 1: So we were.
- 31:52Speaker 17: Proposed that third, fourth, and fifth place all get the bronze.
- 31:58Speaker 17: To make it fair, participation, to make it fair, to
- 32:05Speaker 17: make it fair. And see this is we've talked about subjectiveness.
- 32:09Speaker 17: Already make it fair.
- 32:11Speaker 1: What is fair?
- 32:12Speaker 17: Even with that, in figure skating and gymnastics, they already
- 32:20Speaker 17: the judges already know what moves you're going to do,
- 32:23Speaker 17: so they're judged by a degree of difficulty. And then
- 32:26Speaker 17: your coach can come in and say, see it was
- 32:28Speaker 17: harder than you thought it was. They should get more
- 32:31Speaker 17: points now, so just for it's even more confusing.
- 32:36Speaker 9: The very first Olympics, and I want to do this
- 32:38Speaker 9: to make sure that I was accurate, was in eighteen
- 32:41Speaker 9: ninety six. Eighteen ninety six, and since then they've had
- 32:46Speaker 9: three awards. They are the gold medal, the silver, and
- 32:52Speaker 9: the bronze. The bronze is as bad as you can
- 32:55Speaker 9: do in the Olympics.
- 32:56Speaker 16: That's it.
- 32:57Speaker 9: Like you can only come in third place and the
- 33:00Speaker 9: rest of y'all got to go home with the experience
- 33:04Speaker 9: emblazoned in your memory because there is nothing for you
- 33:07Speaker 9: other than the little gift bag and the Olympic sticker
- 33:11Speaker 9: that they give you when you get off the plane.
- 33:13Speaker 9: And that's it, and now they're trying to change that
- 33:16Speaker 9: for fairness. Fairness to whom Jordan childs, fairness to the
- 33:22Speaker 9: United States of America. I don't under fairness to the
- 33:25Speaker 9: sake of fairness?
- 33:26Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 33:28Speaker 9: None of this makes sense to me. It seems like
- 33:30Speaker 9: pretty soon. I mean, we already got breakdancing in the Olympics.
- 33:35Speaker 9: I'm saying, now, listen them, we've already watered it down
- 33:39Speaker 9: to break dancing.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Speaking of breakdancing, the Australian racation, Gray Gun who has
- 33:50Speaker 1: swept the nation since her performance of judgment, the thirty
- 33:55Speaker 1: eight year old out of Sydney command you Greg also
- 33:59Speaker 1: or was it you Big Kenny? Are saying that her
- 34:01Speaker 1: and her husband maybe stuff the ballot box for them
- 34:07Speaker 1: to even get over to This is my question with
- 34:10Speaker 1: the Olympics, because I must admit I don't know how
- 34:14Speaker 1: all countries work. Do all countries have a competition or
- 34:19Speaker 1: do Are you required to have a competition or can
- 34:23Speaker 1: you just send a representative?
- 34:25Speaker 9: I'm sports jack. When I saw the Australian breakdancer, I
- 34:31Speaker 9: was for the.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Ladder.
- 34:35Speaker 9: You just send a representative because there's no way this
- 34:38Speaker 9: woman competed and won. There was absolutely no way that
- 34:42Speaker 9: they had five even six breakdancers go ahead to head.
- 34:46Speaker 9: Similar she was the one they seen.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Similar to similar to how we do with our teams,
- 34:53Speaker 1: our basketball team, our soccer team. We just make a
- 34:58Speaker 1: decision of who we want a There is no actual
- 35:02Speaker 1: criteria like you had the come in and win first
- 35:06Speaker 1: one to run to the light pole, win win, right,
- 35:09Speaker 1: y'all play, y'all play scrimmage game. Whoever get eliminated is
- 35:12Speaker 1: out of consideration for going to wright. We make those
- 35:15Speaker 1: teams up. So I was wondering in the sport like
- 35:18Speaker 1: that because a little when I watched it, I thought
- 35:22Speaker 1: maybe at first Australia and the people on the committee
- 35:28Speaker 1: had the mindset that they didn't agree that break dancing
- 35:31Speaker 1: should be in the Olympics, so they just sent someone
- 35:36Speaker 1: almost as a parody, almost like mockery that y'all would
- 35:41Speaker 1: even involve this. But then it made me go a
- 35:43Speaker 1: step further to to realize that I didn't know how
- 35:47Speaker 1: other countries set their athletes. Do they have championship rounds
- 35:55Speaker 1: like we have the Olympic Trials for track, or do
- 35:58Speaker 1: they just deem who they want to send.
- 36:02Speaker 17: We would have to research as far as with well
- 36:05Speaker 17: with breaking they had UH. They had like a route
- 36:11Speaker 17: someone had to go to qualify for the Olympics. It
- 36:14Speaker 17: was through their world championships in Australia, well in through
- 36:18Speaker 17: in each on each continent they had their championships, and
- 36:25Speaker 17: then they UH and then they had their their continental championships.
- 36:35Speaker 1: And then they UH.
- 36:41Speaker 17: Said there were the opportunity to book their slots through
- 36:44Speaker 17: a qualifier series, a four month qualifier series.
- 36:49Speaker 1: All we had to do was be the people in
- 36:51Speaker 1: charge and qualifying.
- 36:54Speaker 9: We now these are the rules that if we say
- 36:56Speaker 9: that we got to qualifying round the night and nobody
- 36:59Speaker 9: shows up, then whoever shows up goes through.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Well, I said it to you and and mainly objective
- 37:07Speaker 1: exactly you know something where I can race you the
- 37:10Speaker 1: first one to the end of the pool, I can
- 37:12Speaker 1: make that. But on the subjective Olympic sport, I just
- 37:20Speaker 1: your fan was better. Are you off on the on
- 37:23Speaker 1: the twelfth through the nineteen? Yeah, hey man, I think
- 37:26Speaker 1: you should go to Paris. And that's how it's seemed
- 37:29Speaker 1: like over there. Okay, how much I gotta pay? It's free. Okay,
- 37:37Speaker 1: we'll be back more than Jock Show after this. Your
- 37:43Speaker 1: damn sens since we've been at it, like Rapping Super

- 38:00Speaker 1: The future depends on teachers.
- 38:03Speaker 18: Every day, teachers are shaping our tomorrows, starting their students
- 38:07Speaker 18: on journeys that will change the course of history. Right now,
- 38:11Speaker 18: in a classroom somewhere in the United States, there's a
- 38:14Speaker 18: teacher inspiring a future scientist who'll make preventing pandemics their
- 38:18Speaker 18: life's work, sharpening the mind of an aspiring environmentalist who'll
- 38:23Speaker 18: help come back climate change, and generating possibilities for a
- 38:27Speaker 18: student who will be the first in their family.
- 38:29Speaker 1: To graduate college.
- 38:31Speaker 18: It all starts with teachers who meet challenges with creativity,
- 38:35Speaker 18: who reinvent education for the future, who work towards a
- 38:38Speaker 18: school system that lives up every child, regardless of race, income,

- 39:05Speaker 1: But we do have one question for the veterans listening.
- 39:09Speaker 1: When is the last time you reached out for help?

- 39:29Speaker 1: Hi.
- 39:30Speaker 21: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generational race car driver, and
- 39:32Speaker 21: we dedicate a lot of our time to going as
- 39:34Speaker 21: fast as possible. My Grandpa Lou is the reason why
- 39:37Speaker 21: my dad and I started racing, and I'm really proud
- 39:39Speaker 21: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 39:41Speaker 21: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in
- 39:43Speaker 21: the road for us. I've learned a lot on this
- 39:45Speaker 21: journey with my Grandpa Lou, and the memories of my
- 39:48Speaker 21: grandpa will always be with me. It's important to notice
- 39:50Speaker 21: if older family members are acting differently, experiencing problems with
- 39:54Speaker 21: their memory, or.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Having trouble with routine tasks.
- 39:56Speaker 21: Talking about Alzheimer's can be really tough, but if you
- 39:59Speaker 21: notice something, have a conversation with your loved one, encourage
- 40:02Speaker 21: them to see a doctor or offer to go with them.
- 40:04Speaker 21: Early detection of Alzheimer's can give your family time to
- 40:06Speaker 21: explore support services, make a plan for the future, and
- 40:09Speaker 21: access available treatments. The Alzheimer's Association provides care, support and
- 40:14Speaker 21: research to help you take control of the situation with

- 41:02Speaker 1: Waking back to this by Shock show him this Mory
- 41:04Speaker 1: Shock wing Candy rugby player the US rugby team brought
- 41:10Speaker 1: on the Bronze Atlanta Mayer was on with Seth Meyers.
- 41:16Speaker 1: The twenty eight year old sat down on the Late
- 41:19Speaker 1: Night with Seth Meyers show and says that her bronze
- 41:23Speaker 1: medal is allready wearing out, like tarnishing is her bronze medal?
- 41:31Speaker 6: I know?
- 41:32Speaker 1: Nisea Houston, another skateboarder. Skateboarder was saying his bronze medal
- 41:41Speaker 1: was wearing as well. All I can say is when
- 41:44Speaker 1: the goal is that too much? Oh oh, I should
- 41:52Speaker 1: have more of some other I haven't heard not. I
- 41:55Speaker 1: mean I haven't heard any of the gold medal people
- 41:57Speaker 1: saying hey, goal it fade. No, yes, I haven't heard it.
- 42:04Speaker 9: I'm just saying, I'm just saying, maybe that's the inspiration.
- 42:09Speaker 9: Maybe that will be the inspiration. I mean, you still adorable.
- 42:14Speaker 1: You know, you see people like bite it and it
- 42:16Speaker 1: doesn't So the Olympics going hot and heavy. As we
- 42:21Speaker 1: talked about with Doctor Dre, the hip hop superstar, he
- 42:28Speaker 1: is producer, artists, plans to compete in LA He's hoping
- 42:34Speaker 1: to qualify for the twenty twenty eight Olympics and archery. Archery.
- 42:40Speaker 1: I saw him say that live and I thought that
- 42:45Speaker 1: would be just a great thing. Now him too, you know,
- 42:50Speaker 1: And that's one of those sports where I'm you don't
- 42:54Speaker 1: have an age. I don't think out of the competitors
- 42:57Speaker 1: are just all across the board with ages. It's not like,
- 43:01Speaker 1: you know, if you're sixty five, you don't have a
- 43:03Speaker 1: chance of winning. You know, a nineteen year old can win.
- 43:08Speaker 1: It's all about can't do you have the hand and
- 43:10Speaker 1: eye to win.
- 43:11Speaker 9: Now with it being twenty twenty eight in LA and
- 43:16Speaker 9: doctor Dre being LA like he's him and Snoop where
- 43:21Speaker 9: the two that they were using with the handoff to
- 43:24Speaker 9: really pump that Welcome to LA theme. Do you think
- 43:29Speaker 9: he'll get a pass through like with the American team,
- 43:33Speaker 9: He'll have to that you have you have to produce right,
- 43:38Speaker 9: You have to be a subjective right in one of
- 43:41Speaker 9: those he can't get it close to the target and
- 43:43Speaker 9: they like it's good enough. You know, you got to
- 43:45Speaker 9: be right, which would make him making the team even
- 43:48Speaker 9: more exciting because we know that you've put.
- 43:52Speaker 1: It most likely on his estate. He probably already.
- 43:55Speaker 9: Yeah, he's practicing already something he already does. He's been
- 43:58Speaker 9: doing it, he said, for the last several.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Years, and a lot of times with those kind of
- 44:04Speaker 1: hobby sports, you just find that you're very good at it.
- 44:09Speaker 9: Yeah, and then try out and then I have the
- 44:13Speaker 9: time to make myself better. I have the time and
- 44:17Speaker 9: resources and ability to take my hobby and hone in
- 44:22Speaker 9: on it until I'm professionally capable.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Yeah. So I thought it would be good regardless of LA,
- 44:29Speaker 1: just someone of his note to make an appearance in
- 44:34Speaker 1: that kind.
- 44:35Speaker 17: Of sport would then the only one other that I
- 44:38Speaker 17: know of is a Geena Davis, the actress. She qualified
- 44:44Speaker 17: I believe in the two thousand and four or two
- 44:48Speaker 17: thousand and eight Olympics in archery.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Okay, okay, And I've saw some of that doing this Olympics.
- 44:54Speaker 1: It's very Yeah, it's not just like we see on
- 44:59Speaker 1: TV they're hitting people with arrows from two hundred yards
- 45:05Speaker 1: like oh yeah, yeah, they're just cutting a piece of
- 45:09Speaker 1: tree and taking their shoelaces. Yeah, I'm hit them with
- 45:13Speaker 1: That's not really.
- 45:17Speaker 9: Some of those bows you can't even pull back. Yeah yeah,
- 45:21Speaker 9: yeah right. You gotta be really really strong to do that.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Will Levis of the Tennessee Titans, he has a cologne
- 45:30Speaker 1: coming out. He signed with Helman's man Age, which part
- 45:36Speaker 1: of his contract not only his money, but he gets
- 45:40Speaker 1: a lifetime supply of Helman's. I don't know how much
- 45:45Speaker 1: that would end up being how frequently he eats Mayo,
- 45:49Speaker 1: but also they're dropping a Will Levis Helman's Mayo cologne cologne.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I remember a couple of years ago we talked about
- 46:04Speaker 1: somebody had like it may be a potato chip cologne.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Someone else in the last four or five years talked
- 46:14Speaker 1: barbecue cologne some kind of by a certain player.
- 46:19Speaker 17: But I know we talked about like KFC had a
- 46:22Speaker 17: limited batch or someone had a limited batch colone, like
- 46:27Speaker 17: like a fast food restaurant.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, maybe that was the story we were talking about.
- 46:32Speaker 1: But I've never I've never smelled mayo in thought to
- 46:41Speaker 1: now I'm saying to even really having my senses right
- 46:47Speaker 1: now of what mayo smells like, and more, I know
- 46:52Speaker 1: what it tastes. I can eat something and taste it
- 46:55Speaker 1: has Mayo on it, but I can't be in and
- 47:00Speaker 1: that you got mayo, unlike U sports Jack. I do
- 47:03Speaker 1: have a point of reference for the aroma of mayonnaise.
- 47:06Speaker 9: Okay, but I've never smelled that aroma and thought I'm
- 47:09Speaker 9: gonna kill the honeys with this one.
- 47:11Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Like, what where would you
- 47:14Speaker 1: go with Mayo cologne?
- 47:16Speaker 9: We could have done so many other things with the
- 47:18Speaker 9: mayonnaise besides go straight to cologne, Like how do you
- 47:22Speaker 9: slather it on?
- 47:23Speaker 1: How do you even apply spray? Gonna be a.
- 47:27Speaker 17: Mayonnaise looks like an oppressor? He had he had a
- 47:31Speaker 17: sample bottle. Anybody want to subway?
- 47:38Speaker 9: I mean, what what is it supposed to evoke hunger?
- 47:41Speaker 9: Or just is it like regular cologne? Like I want
- 47:45Speaker 9: to smell good when I go out.
- 47:47Speaker 1: And Will Levis number eight is what it's called, and
- 47:51Speaker 1: it's going to be selling for eight dollars eight dollars
- 47:54Speaker 1: a bottleh S. I gotta look this up. We'll be
- 48:02Speaker 1: back more than Sportsock Show right after this.
- 48:22Speaker 14: Don't go awayne More of the Sports Jock Show with
- 48:24Speaker 14: Wayne Dandidias coming up next.
- 48:30Speaker 22: Hurting the game, we tough it out, feel exhausted, we
- 48:34Speaker 22: push on, feeling down. We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps.
- 48:40Speaker 22: But there are times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress
- 48:43Speaker 22: gets to us and we need to talk to someone
- 48:46Speaker 22: about what we're really going through. So we're going to

- 50:53Speaker 25: Wayne Gamsey, Center Cord on sports news, gossip, blah blah
- 51:02Speaker 25: blah blah.
- 51:30Speaker 1: What makes this way shock? Show, this war shock? Wayne Candy,
- 51:33Speaker 1: Good morning to you. One thing that we cannot seem
- 51:38Speaker 1: to get enough of over the last twenty one twenty
- 51:41Speaker 1: two years is evoking. The comparison between Michael Jordan and
- 51:50Speaker 1: Lebron James has been a debate easily, in my mind,
- 51:56Speaker 1: has become the biggest debate in sports. I don't know
- 52:00Speaker 1: if I've ever heard of any comparison that has gone
- 52:04Speaker 1: this long of any sport. You just don't hear the
- 52:10Speaker 1: Joe Namath, excuse me, Joe Montana, Tom Brady or Ali
- 52:17Speaker 1: Floyd Mayweather. You just don't hear those things. If they happen,
- 52:22Speaker 1: they happen quickly and they go away. When people have
- 52:26Speaker 1: the Bears defense against the Ravens defense, you know, the
- 52:30Speaker 1: eighty five Bears against the whatever two thousand, such and
- 52:33Speaker 1: such raven and it happens, people talk about it. It
- 52:36Speaker 1: might make a little video for it for a little
- 52:39Speaker 1: ten minute segment on ESPN, and we move on. But
- 52:42Speaker 1: the Lebron and Jordan debate, two gentlemen who never played
- 52:47Speaker 1: against each other at any point for anything. Jordan was
- 52:53Speaker 1: retired by the time Lebron got to the NBA. Lebron
- 52:57Speaker 1: James has never said he was better than Michael Jordan.
- 53:04Speaker 1: He actually wore the number twenty three because that was
- 53:06Speaker 1: someone he idolized and he was trying to be like.
- 53:12Speaker 1: But we have, regardless, tried to circle these two gentlemen
- 53:20Speaker 1: and pit them against each other of who's the greatest,
- 53:26Speaker 1: who's the better player. I bring that up because once
- 53:29Speaker 1: again with Stephan Marberry, who now wants to weigh in
- 53:35Speaker 1: on the Lebron James scenario. And sometimes, as I always
- 53:42Speaker 1: talk about with the guy that's not on the show today.
- 53:47Speaker 1: We let our emotions blind us. And from what you see,
- 53:52Speaker 1: these two Marlberry and Lebron twenty years ago were on
- 53:59Speaker 1: the Olympic two together in two thousand and four. Lebron
- 54:03Speaker 1: would have been what twenty Mamberry would have been about
- 54:06Speaker 1: twenty five, twenty six or something like that. I don't
- 54:09Speaker 1: know if the beast started then.
- 54:12Speaker 23: Uh.
- 54:12Speaker 1: And I say that because when you make statements like
- 54:19Speaker 1: you don't even see how someone could think, yes, you can, Lebron,
- 54:27Speaker 1: James is better than Jordan, That's when I start thinking
- 54:33Speaker 1: it's personal, Big Kenny, command Greg. When you start saying
- 54:39Speaker 1: that you can tell me you believe Jordan is better, right,
- 54:43Speaker 1: or anything is better. But when you keep saying you
- 54:46Speaker 1: don't know or see how one thing like Coca cola,
- 54:51Speaker 1: you don't see how PEPs people could think PEPSI it's better.
- 54:56Speaker 9: Yes, you can see what you mean from across the room.
- 55:01Speaker 9: You don't even know which one is which you just
- 55:04Speaker 9: you can honestly see, you can see it.
- 55:06Speaker 1: You can see. And when you're saying you can't see
- 55:08Speaker 1: it one, it's like, oh, you on emotion, now you
- 55:12Speaker 1: lying emotions emotions and lying the same thing.
- 55:16Speaker 9: Yes, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, I call it
- 55:20Speaker 9: you lying. I mean, now, I'm not saying you not.
- 55:24Speaker 9: You don't have the right to feel the way you
- 55:26Speaker 9: feel emotionally. You are welcome to feel how you feel.
- 55:30Speaker 9: But to try and discredit any reality with saying that
- 55:35Speaker 9: you don't notice this comparison, you stop, you you you
- 55:41Speaker 9: you're acting like it's super personal.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Now you see why I can compareison Joe Montana and
- 55:47Speaker 1: Tom Brady. Absolutely I can.
- 55:49Speaker 9: Yeah, that's not far fetched, right, No, they were both
- 55:53Speaker 9: football quarterbacks. That I mean, that's that's a good place
- 55:56Speaker 9: to start in the comparison, that they were both NFL quarterbacks,
- 56:00Speaker 9: and then you start putting their resumes together, and that's
- 56:03Speaker 9: where the argument comes in.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Willie, I can have that. We can definitely have that conversation.
- 56:09Speaker 6: Right.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Will He couldn't drink as much. But from what I heard,
- 56:15Speaker 1: that's why when I'm just giving people food for thought,
- 56:18Speaker 1: When you're talking to people and they go to that
- 56:20Speaker 1: last step and you don't see how we're comparing Lebron
- 56:25Speaker 1: James to Michael Jordan, then you emotional. And that's why
- 56:30Speaker 1: I think Stephan and Marberry, whether it started twenty years ago.
- 56:34Speaker 1: There's an article that maybe even this last Olympics that
- 56:38Speaker 1: Lebron went over to the sideline and Draymond Green and
- 56:44Speaker 1: a couple other Carmelo people like that, that he really knows.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I guess he kind of acknowledged and maybe he didn't
- 56:54Speaker 1: see Marlberry. And sometimes, like I tell young athletes, always,
- 56:58Speaker 1: hey man, you want to make sure you aura because
- 57:01Speaker 1: it's gonna be some things sometime later in your life.
- 57:05Speaker 1: You don't want to speak for you before you get
- 57:08Speaker 1: over there. Right there's a vibe of you know, you've
- 57:11Speaker 1: made yourself the guy tonight invite to the party, and
- 57:15Speaker 1: then you wondering why people don't approach you. Don't approach
- 57:18Speaker 1: you because that's what you sold sug night.
- 57:21Speaker 9: Well, and I think it's interesting. You know you're going
- 57:23Speaker 9: down the listen, hey man, wait.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Diddy can come. This is what I think is interesting.
- 57:32Speaker 9: Though he's saying that he doesn't understand how they could
- 57:35Speaker 9: be even in the same conversation. You played with him
- 57:39Speaker 9: in the Olympics twenty years ago and he's still in
- 57:43Speaker 9: the Olympics.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Bruh, that's a good start, right there.
- 57:46Speaker 9: Come on, man, you played with him twenty years ago
- 57:49Speaker 9: in the Olympics and he's still starting in the Olympics now.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Won the Olympic MVP. Come on, man, twenty years later.
- 57:56Speaker 1: You see it and for you that sitting there trying
- 57:59Speaker 1: to add like it was step no step in the
- 58:02Speaker 1: last two games was in the kitchen cooking. And some
- 58:08Speaker 1: of the emotions he saw of y'all questioning him, was
- 58:11Speaker 1: what he was doing when he was hitting those shots,
- 58:14Speaker 1: when he kept saying, no worry about me, right because
- 58:17Speaker 1: everybody was on him, like, hey, chef man, where you've
- 58:19Speaker 1: been the last five games? Six games? And you know
- 58:24Speaker 1: Lebron was consistently leading the teams in all categories up
- 58:30Speaker 1: until then.
- 58:31Speaker 17: It just wasn't That's a I think that's a generational
- 58:34Speaker 17: thing as far as I think younger viewers are looking
- 58:42Speaker 17: at what someone's doing and try to find a way
- 58:46Speaker 17: that it's they're not doing enough, or they're not they're
- 58:49Speaker 17: not even contributing, or why why why isn't everyone averaging
- 58:54Speaker 17: twenty five points? It's not that many shots to go around,
- 58:58Speaker 17: and it's shorter, and you know, they're saying, Kurt doesn't
- 59:02Speaker 17: know what he's doing. He's playing the matchups and he
- 59:05Speaker 17: knows what everyone does and what everyone's willing so much
- 59:08Speaker 17: more to go into it that.
- 59:10Speaker 1: We'll come back on the other side of the break
- 59:11Speaker 1: talk a little more about this. More to Sports Shock
- 59:14Speaker 1: Show right after this.
- 59:17Speaker 4: That job around job given your fast shot. That's all
- 59:25Speaker 4: around job.
- 59:30Speaker 13: Jobs.
- 59:32Speaker 14: Don't go awayne board of the Sports Jock Show with
- 59:35Speaker 14: Wayne Dampius coming up next.
- 59:40Speaker 1: Hear that.
- 59:42Speaker 26: That's the sound of your life, perfectly imperfect, beating in
- 59:49Speaker 26: rhythm to the world you've created. But every time you
- 59:53Speaker 26: drive after drinking, music gets drowned out. Your life sounds
- 1:00:00Speaker 26: pretty great. Don't let a buzz ruin it. Buzz driving
- 1:00:04Speaker 26: is drunk driving. Don't drive buzzed. A message from NITZ
- 1:00:07Speaker 26: and the ID Council.
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:00:14Speaker 10: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:00:18Speaker 10: life insurance.
- 1:00:19Speaker 19: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:00:21Speaker 19: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:00:23Speaker 19: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:00:28Speaker 19: When I was forty with a kid in college and
- 1:00:30Speaker 19: bills piling up. I was worried how my family was
- 1:00:32Speaker 19: survive without me. That's when I'm in an appointment with
- 1:00:34Speaker 19: the insurance informant.
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: Information gives you power and life. Insurance gives your family
- 1:00:38Speaker 10: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:00:45Speaker 10: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:00:48Speaker 10: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:00:50Speaker 10: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:00:52Speaker 10: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:00:56Speaker 10: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:01:01Speaker 10: Log on today benefits or bills? Dot Com that's benefits
- 1:01:05Speaker 10: or bills?
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Dot Com?
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: Enough using enough, I don't have any Why show share
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: your suck and we hold the world ransom for Wayne?
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Excuse me while I whip this out Shore broadcasting live
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: and it led her to a jail.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: This this is the Sports Shock Show with Wayne.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: Gandy, You big Vegan, do lean up?
- 1:01:35Speaker 16: Can you bring me down?
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: Get you frank me down?
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Dot Com to flow consol, cog get. It comes to Mark,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: is it just doing.
- 1:01:47Speaker 12: I'm gonna do it begin I'm gonna go.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: On the way you vegan.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Welcome back to the swat Shock Show. I'm the swart
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out there listening land. Uh,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: it has been beautiful weather here for the live seven
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: eight days in Atlanta. Second week of a preseason foot
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: ball Remember the season starts on a Thursday night the
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Ravens kind of like the game I was telling you
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: about at the beginning of the show. If you missed
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: any of that first hour, you can go to Amazon Podcast,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Apple Podcast, Spotify, Deezer Audible, or iHeartRadio and catch to
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: replay of the show. When we go off. But simonear
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: like the NFL Thursday night kickoff, the Ravens are visiting
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: the Kansas City Chiefs. I was saying earlier about the
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: football game. The number six in the nation right now
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: ranking to start the season in some polls is Milton,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: and they are hosting the number twelve team in the
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: nation right now in the Beaufort Wolves. Milton won the
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: state championship last year in seven A. Beauford got kicked
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: out in the semi finals. But it's college players just
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: all around on this field and I'm not exaggerating when
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I say between the junior and senior class, with both teams,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: you're talking about D one twenty three to thirty D
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: one players. It's that deep size speed. Luke Nicol last
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: time in the quarterback of Milton, he's going to Miami.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I remember correctly. CJ. Wiley is going to Florida State.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: The new quarterback for Bufford. His brother just left Buford,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Dylan Riola, he is down in Nebraska. His brother Dayton Riola,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: who is now going to be a junior. He's taking
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: over over there. So know what they're doing at the
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: rial asshold. Know what we're doing to keep these boys busy?
- 1:03:55Speaker 9: You know what I mean?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I'm serious. Some people be like, man, y'all doing the weekends.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: We know, Oh that's slavery.
- 1:04:04Speaker 23: You know.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: They like to make child lady. I can't believe you
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: make them throw the football every right, they release the
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: nil earnings and it's like, slave my child. You beat
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: up on my kid on the weekend if I drive
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: or drop them off, Yeah, you're a slave him a
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: little bit like you did your son. We left talking
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: about the Michael Jordan Lebron debate. Gentlemen, I have you
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: ever as far as two individuals, you know, sometimes we've
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: had the Auburn Alabama, but as two athletes, do y'all
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: know if anyone any combo that has been debated as
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: long as Michael Jordan and Lebron James.
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: And partly probably because Lebron is still around performing at
- 1:04:54Speaker 9: a high level. If he were retired, maybe the comparison
- 1:04:59Speaker 9: would have shifted to someone else by now, but Lebron
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: is still holding the torch in the NBA, so it
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: will forever be something that I believe we we talk
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: about in that vein because we haven't seen anybody better
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: than him yet. There isn't anybody more capable of being
- 1:05:19Speaker 9: compared to Jordan than Lebron.
- 1:05:23Speaker 17: Uh yeah, I haven't seen it because, like I said,
- 1:05:26Speaker 17: Lebron is still playing, and so now it's we're like
- 1:05:32Speaker 17: a generation into players that they didn't see Jordan play.
- 1:05:41Speaker 17: They've only seen Lebron, so he's he's what they aspire
- 1:05:46Speaker 17: to be. And when people bring up Jordan like they
- 1:05:51Speaker 17: don't have a point of reference really, so that adds
- 1:05:54Speaker 17: to the to the argument as well. Uh So, now
- 1:05:58Speaker 17: because we're you know, we're going into year twenty two,
- 1:06:04Speaker 17: it's and it keeps going like it's it's going to
- 1:06:07Speaker 17: keep going forever.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Really, And I don't have an issue with Stephan Marlberry,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: who blade in the league, was a star player, siding
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: with whoever he sides with. As I said in the
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: last segment, but when he gets to that point where
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: he starts trying to say things like he doesn't see
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: how this is a comparison, and that's when it starts
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: becoming It goes emotion away. It goes that way where
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: there's the ones who's like, I don't see a comparison.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: It's kind of him, it's kind of the other guy.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: There's really no comparison.
- 1:06:47Speaker 17: And then some people I'm not sure if they're joking
- 1:06:50Speaker 17: or not, but they start making the Oh, now Lebron's
- 1:06:53Speaker 17: better because he has three gold medals and Jordan has two.
- 1:06:58Speaker 17: Lebron has a son in the NBA. Jordan's son's doing cocaine.
- 1:07:04Speaker 17: Lebron opened to school, Jordan open a hospital. School is
- 1:07:09Speaker 17: better than how So it starts going even outside of basketball,
- 1:07:14Speaker 17: trying to make one person is the better player because
- 1:07:19Speaker 17: they're the better person. Also, so it's going beyond basketball
- 1:07:24Speaker 17: now that it's you're not going to change anybody's mind.
- 1:07:30Speaker 17: So I hope that it's humorous, but it's sometimes it
- 1:07:33Speaker 17: doesn't seem that way to the things that some people say.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Olympic gold medalist Amoney Khalif has decided to take her
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: game and her gold medal one step further. According to
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: the report I'm reading, mss Khaliff has decided she is
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: going to sue Big Kenny and command you Greg, and
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: she's going after some dollars. She wants some big money
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: people like e Line Musk. She wants some of that
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: billionaire money. JK Rowlings, she wants some of that book money.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Did she fight them? Said she's going to suit them
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: for no? No, not in the rings.
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: I was about to say, I didn't even know JK
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: had hands, But she out here getting sued for beating
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: on people?
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: What now?
- 1:08:25Speaker 9: Why is why is himni khalieve gold medal? Now she
- 1:08:28Speaker 9: won the gold medal, won the gold medal. Okay, so
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: all of the fervor about people quitting boxing her and
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: all of that didn't work.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: She handled a business, uh she is. She fouled a
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: lawsuit and JK Rowling Elin Musk reportedly named in this
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: cyber bullying lawsuit, And I asked you guys on the
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: last show about what's there? How is it cyber bullying?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? What did they do to
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: I thought the whole purpose of being able to comment
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: was something you solicited, right. That just why you got
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Paige right, That's why you put stuff out there. It
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: is for the work. And this is the thing. This
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: is the thing.
- 1:09:13Speaker 9: They have settings, you can set what comes to you,
- 1:09:18Speaker 9: who gets to send it. If JK Rowling or Elon
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: Musk said anything that offended you, you could have blocked
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: them instantly. So for you to leave yourself open for
- 1:09:29Speaker 9: them to send you. And that's why I was asking
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: for some sort of quantifying. What does she list as
- 1:09:37Speaker 9: the bullying action? Were they are sending her pictures? Did
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: Elon Musk owns X? Was he using the platform to
- 1:09:46Speaker 9: berate her? How did she come to cyber bullying with
- 1:09:49Speaker 9: these two?
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: That is a great question, I guess with one like
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: you're saying with maybe she feels like Elon shouldn't allow
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: people to make comments and negative comment.
- 1:10:04Speaker 17: It may have came down to it, maybe something like
- 1:10:07Speaker 17: it for her to even know that those things were said,
- 1:10:10Speaker 17: if they said something about her, and she blocked them.
- 1:10:16Speaker 17: But then other people are sitting like, hey, did you
- 1:10:19Speaker 17: see what Eli said? And and and tagging her in
- 1:10:23Speaker 17: those in those comments. Yeah, they call those commercials like
- 1:10:26Speaker 17: stuff that we don't.
- 1:10:28Speaker 9: Stuff that we don't intentionally digest or jest or ask
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: to have given to us. Happens to us all the time,
- 1:10:38Speaker 9: even on streaming. We're just sitting there and the next
- 1:10:40Speaker 9: thing you know, hey, have you tried? And I didn't
- 1:10:43Speaker 9: ask for this? So if I say I don't want
- 1:10:46Speaker 9: to see ads, then another different kind of ad comes along.
- 1:10:50Speaker 9: It just seems like, why isn't she mad at the
- 1:10:53Speaker 9: kid from Nebraska who had something to say? Why isn't
- 1:10:57Speaker 9: somebody else I've made some comments about mon Khalif? How
- 1:11:02Speaker 9: come Kenny ain't listened in the lawsuit? You just going
- 1:11:05Speaker 9: after people that, in my opinion, you hope are willing
- 1:11:09Speaker 9: to settle with.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: And this all is sparked from just for those that
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: might not have heard the story of money Khalif doing
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: the Olympics and after her first bout her competitor after
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: forty six seconds, stop fighting, basically through in the towel.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: That's when the claims of transgender athlete came into play.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: There was word before that there was two transgender.
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: Athletes in the box in box yeah, and that they
- 1:11:42Speaker 9: were They were identified as a Money Khalif and a
- 1:11:45Speaker 9: boxer from China.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: So fast forward, a Money Khaliff makes it through the Olympics,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: comes the gold medalist at her weight class, and now
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: she is looking for apology, she's looking for lawsuits for
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: those false claims. I guess that people passed Elon Musk
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: nor jk Rowlings, as far as I know, started this rumor. No, No,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: it was Adams, That's what it was. Adam's app on
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: the bushy eyebrows. Everybody like, that's a dude.
- 1:12:21Speaker 17: But it's like with jk Rowling, she is like very
- 1:12:25Speaker 17: outspoken about the trans community. She definitely has a reputation.
- 1:12:32Speaker 17: That's why I thought she was wh felt she was
- 1:12:34Speaker 17: part of the lawsuit. And also she had responded about
- 1:12:38Speaker 17: her and Elon Musk was responding to someone saying men
- 1:12:43Speaker 17: don't belong in women's sports and he just said absolutely,
- 1:12:47Speaker 17: And so now he's, oh, yes, that's support for a billion.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Dollars and we'll be back more to sports show right
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: after this.
- 1:13:05Speaker 14: Wow, don't boor away or of the Sports Jock Show
- 1:13:09Speaker 14: with Wayne Dantidias coming up next.
- 1:13:13Speaker 27: In sitcoms, when someone has a problem, they just blurt
- 1:13:16Speaker 27: it out and move on.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: Well, I lost my job and my parakeet is missing.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: How is your day?
- 1:13:24Speaker 27: But the real world is different. Managing life's challenges can
- 1:13:27Speaker 27: be overwhelming.
- 1:13:28Speaker 16: So what do we do?
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: We get support?

- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the ripe old age of eighty eight. I must tell you, Wally,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: I was not a fan of the famous Amos cookie.
- 1:20:30Speaker 27: I just was not.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: It was not something they were hard most of the time.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: They taste like they were stale. Just not a big fan.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: Are you a Famous Amos person?
- 1:20:42Speaker 9: Well, Famous Amos used to be a brick and mortar
- 1:20:45Speaker 9: store when it started off, and that's where I got
- 1:20:50Speaker 9: comfortable with the cookie. Then when it went into the
- 1:20:52Speaker 9: mass production, like you, I thought the quality suffered, but
- 1:20:56Speaker 9: I was still behind Famous because I saw him get
- 1:20:59Speaker 9: it after mud.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying.
- 1:21:01Speaker 9: But yeah, the cookie itself with some milk, it was
- 1:21:04Speaker 9: a good on the ghost snack, but it did the
- 1:21:09Speaker 9: quality did suffer something.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Command you have you ever had Famous same as cookies
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: I have, because you look like one of them. Guys.
- 1:21:16Speaker 9: What we're talking about just never reached your tag. He
- 1:21:18Speaker 9: had to google Famous Amos like I've had it before.
- 1:21:24Speaker 9: It's not the first option.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Okay, look at him trying to be in the middle.
- 1:21:28Speaker 9: I'm all the way over here like no no no, no,
- 1:21:31Speaker 9: no no no no, whiley it's no for me, doog
- 1:21:35Speaker 9: And I'm kind of like, well, he used to be cool.
- 1:21:38Speaker 9: I mean, give them a second chance and command you
- 1:21:41Speaker 9: gregs on some of them, you know, and your opinion
- 1:21:45Speaker 9: of this new cyber truck.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I see a lot of different stars the cyber truck. Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: the one that looks like is me and you made
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: it with some parts from old shd Outside it.
- 1:21:58Speaker 9: Looks like a toddler drew it, and then it looks
- 1:22:02Speaker 9: like the toddler's first drawing of a car. And I
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: think it's interesting that. To me, it's a perfect example
- 1:22:10Speaker 9: of how impressionable we are. One person got it, Now
- 1:22:13Speaker 9: everybody's got to get it and make it their own,
- 1:22:17Speaker 9: and nobody really likes the way it looks. It wouldn't
- 1:22:20Speaker 9: be my first choice, see Greg, what I did there,
- 1:22:24Speaker 9: It wouldn't be my first choice.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: But I mean, you know there it is. It's we
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: just we just don't want to miss out on nothing. Yeah,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: I'm with you on that. It's just something that to
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: be in the loop. I would imagine you're drying driving
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: to be able to say that. Yeah, there's nothing about
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: it that draws you over. It looks like an undone vehicle, right, Really,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: like if me and you just got into the motive
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: business and we were trying to car, we were trying
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: to figure out a car, right, it looks like that's
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: what it is. We'll be back with more to Sports
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Shock Show right up there, Don't.

- 1:23:37Speaker 7: all my friends right there to talk about it. Then
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: someone started calling me and let's try that again. I

- 1:26:45Speaker 1: on outside the club. You can hear that kind of
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: music there to sell us it outside the club. We
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: kind of had similar paths. We used to sell outside
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: the club. No no, no no, and why the earth
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: wind and fire play?
- 1:26:57Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: Come on, man, we been we the same well, speaking
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: of selling one point five million dollars worth of stolen wings.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: We talked about this the other day. It's back in
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: the news. Everybody seems to be on called onto the
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: story that I thought I was just bringing us some giggles.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: It's not funny to miss Lindelle, but it was funny
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: to us. Funny to the rest of the work. Yeah.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Sixty eight year old Vera Ladale, who worked at an
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: elementary school in Chicago suburb for nearly a decade. She
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: pleaded guilty to stealing millions and flats and drums over
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: nineteen months when she was in charge of ordering food.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: They estimate about eleven thousand cases of buffalo wings or
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: wings bone in wings over that period of time, which
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: would have brought up to about a million and a
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: half dollars with today's prices on wings things. And Chris
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Jones of the Chiefs have come out and said he
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: would pay the one point five million dollars for the
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: stolen wings. Well, Chris, that's not how the justice system worked,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: trust me, I know, Chris, that ain't how it worked.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: If it worked that way, everybody would be out of
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: jaim most people, most people to be out of jail.
- 1:28:25Speaker 9: I know all my friends would be. They would be
- 1:28:27Speaker 9: literally if all they had to do was pay come
- 1:28:30Speaker 9: up with the money. None of us would have ever
- 1:28:32Speaker 9: went to jail, especially for what they stole. You know,
- 1:28:36Speaker 9: you just could go in and and pay that amount.
- 1:28:41Speaker 9: That's not how it works.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: Maybe you should have caught this story before they went
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: to court and put that million and a half towards
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: a lawyer. I don't know how you could have worked
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: this out. And on a real note, Chris, if I
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: was speaking to you, I would have told you not
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: to put your name on this in that kind of
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: playful way, regardless, because this wasn't a one time I
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: had to feed my two children. So I ran in
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: the quick trip, grabbed some stuff and ran out. This
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: was a nineteen month enterprise, enterprise, criminal enterprise. Yes, she
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: had found her a true tunnel of cat. She you know,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: if they hadn't caught her, I doubt she would have stopped.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: What about that? And this is the thing, and it's
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: forty pounds of wings makes the case. I did look
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: that up.
- 1:29:38Speaker 9: So eleven thousand is what forty four thousand pounds of wings? Now,
- 1:29:46Speaker 9: this is the thing that makes me know from the
- 1:29:48Speaker 9: school system, from the school system now, which does not
- 1:29:51Speaker 9: order boney in wings, yes.
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: They don't, or the bone in which which don't give
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: a four year old bone in wing at school.
- 1:29:59Speaker 9: At school right, which makes me wonder how And that's
- 1:30:03Speaker 9: what the school system and the FEDS and everybody, because
- 1:30:06Speaker 9: it's once you hit one point five million dollars in theft,
- 1:30:09Speaker 9: it's up to the Fed level now and they involved,
- 1:30:12Speaker 9: and they want to know where did it all go?
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: Who came and got these forty pounds of wings? In
- 1:30:18Speaker 9: every case.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Saying via snitch, no, there.
- 1:30:23Speaker 9: Ain't nobody Chris Jones coming forward with the one point
- 1:30:28Speaker 9: five million dollars ain't what they want. They want the information.
- 1:30:32Speaker 9: Vera done been offered money already.
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: That's why she quiet. She says she sold the wings
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: been fried are so she sold way out? Have you
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: ever tried to fry forty pounds of wings?
- 1:30:42Speaker 32: Oh?
- 1:30:42Speaker 9: Over over nineteen months they fried those wings, I'm saying,
- 1:30:46Speaker 9: but just one case of wings forty pounds? You ever
- 1:30:49Speaker 9: tried to fry that? Who you think frying that much chicken?
- 1:30:53Speaker 9: Ain't nobody doing it at their house?
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: Exactly. That's what they want to know.
- 1:30:58Speaker 9: Remember when they caught the dude still in the scooters
- 1:31:00Speaker 9: from Georgia Tech, and they wanted to know where these
- 1:31:03Speaker 9: scooters going, and they found where the scooters were going.
- 1:31:06Speaker 9: That's what they want Vera. We want to know who's
- 1:31:09Speaker 9: buying this chicken. That's what we want to know. And
- 1:31:12Speaker 9: she hadn't told them yet. So Chris Jones, Winging wing out,
- 1:31:16Speaker 9: Tom Jones, everybody.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: She gave Winging Burger Factory a case extra case. I
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: mean I know that. And you know the church, the
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: church own some of.
- 1:31:29Speaker 9: The church church that wee it was past the appreciation
- 1:31:33Speaker 9: day separation of church.
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. They never know, and that's what they
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: need to find out. How can how how do we
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: how would how would Vera's word even still prove that
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: that that's the thing that's It's like it's like buying
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: something from I don't buy things at the barber shop
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: because I know they're stolen items. If you come in
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: there with like some kind of original painting right where
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: you you're a painter, and I can tell but things
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: that I know you come here telling about.
- 1:32:04Speaker 9: Hey, bro, I got the iPhone fifteen, iPhone fifteen fresh
- 1:32:08Speaker 9: out the box.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: I got these these deer sales. You're know, you know,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: I got the Jordan thirteen thirteen, big man? What's up?
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: I can't what's up? These these originals right product? No, Bro,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: I got these sixty five inches plastic streams on the
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: back of the Best Buy three doors down. I know
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: you do them, folks man, that's I got them from
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: back man, got from back head buckhead. So Vera. You know,
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: how much of that time will she do like three
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: years or could she get eight, nine, eight or nine?
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: It's at nine years, Oh, she'll do at least four
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: and a half four seventy seventy two. She get out
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: seventy three right up in there. Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: But she could talk and they might give her a
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: less time. But I'm like comand you all you'll give
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: me how what would your evidence be? You're just saying
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: command you spot if she just I think she just gave.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: If she gave wings to other restaurants, they paid her
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: in cash. There's no paper trail and mainly because we
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: fried the wing. We threw the boxes away. The different
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: showed me a TV or a computer where I can
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: go in and get over. That's what they hold. But
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: like Gator said, I smoked. I smoked that TV. You've
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: asked me about you. I ate forty pounds wings.
- 1:33:31Speaker 9: You could see my before it after pictures. This this
- 1:33:34Speaker 9: gut on me is these wings. But Chris Jones said
- 1:33:37Speaker 9: he would he would have paid the fine. But that's
- 1:33:39Speaker 9: just not how. And I'm quite sure he was probably
- 1:33:41Speaker 9: just saying this and in the.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Humor because he's got to know that they we're gonna
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: let her go. Yeah, it wasn't they charged you a fine.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: That's how much you had stolen that you said, it's
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: a federal Oh.
- 1:33:54Speaker 9: Yeah, one point for anything over I believe a thousand dollars.
- 1:33:58Speaker 9: It's a felony.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Well keeping it in the food section. More than twenty
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: three hundred pounds of myth was found here in Georgia
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: over at the Georgia's farmers Market, underneath the celery.
- 1:34:16Speaker 9: Now the fact a little bit over a ton, Now,
- 1:34:19Speaker 9: the fact that I bought several stalks of celery this
- 1:34:21Speaker 9: week has nothing to do and what I'm saying, that's
- 1:34:24Speaker 9: how the stuff get convoluted. I happened to buy some celery,
- 1:34:28Speaker 9: and now they got a meth bus under the celery.
- 1:34:31Speaker 9: That for probation officers and anybody listening that they had
- 1:34:34Speaker 9: nothing to do with me. I'm trying to be healthier.
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: So more is going on at the farmers market than
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: you thought.
- 1:34:40Speaker 9: I'm done going to the international food market. I used
- 1:34:43Speaker 9: to just go to the one close to the house.
- 1:34:45Speaker 9: I'm going to go down the forest park. Now see
- 1:34:48Speaker 9: what they got going on. I just walked the greens.
- 1:34:50Speaker 9: I don't need no tomatoes, no root of bagas, just
- 1:34:53Speaker 9: just everything leafy and green.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: So they found it underneath some crates of celery store
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: that they were delivering to the Farmer's market. So they
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: were delivering a little some more too.
- 1:35:05Speaker 9: Now I would wonder whomever they were delivering it to.
- 1:35:10Speaker 9: Who was receiving it. Did they have to go to
- 1:35:12Speaker 9: jail too because a man I only ordered to find
- 1:35:16Speaker 9: out who it was. Well, I'm saying the way the
- 1:35:19Speaker 9: fads just project, and we talked about that earlier. If
- 1:35:23Speaker 9: you show up with ten cases of salary for commandschie Gregg,
- 1:35:28Speaker 9: and when we go into those cases we find meth,
- 1:35:32Speaker 9: we ain't gonna be like man that dude tried to
- 1:35:34Speaker 9: sneak you some myth. They're going to operate under the
- 1:35:38Speaker 9: belief that you knew the math right, that the meth
- 1:35:42Speaker 9: was being delivered to you on purpose.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: So now at least the very least, you're gonna have
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: to explain.
- 1:35:47Speaker 9: Yourself to these people and why this man would try
- 1:35:50Speaker 9: and do that, deliver hundred pounds of meth to you
- 1:35:55Speaker 9: and for no reason.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: And for you haters out there that are trying to
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: shame Simon Bowels about her receiving her mad her ma's bag,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: maybe you should learn how to vault someone bowls getting
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: a lot of criticism about showing her baths and that's
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: too showy and trying to explain that she didn't buy
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: the bag, her parents bought it for her. Uh, Simon,
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: you don't have to explain to these people. I figured
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: Coca Cola gave it to you, or General Mills or
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: whoever's paying you for them commercials. I thought they just
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: do that in How about how about you walk up
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: into her Mas with your phone out. I'm finna clear
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: the whole place out to goat in the building. Y'all
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: see it. Now you've been too show you can't call
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: yourself to go. Hey, I'm the goat. I just won
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: mob all that give me this row? That's being bolsterous. Yeah,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: that's me on all of these. Tell them you can't
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: call yourself to go. Yeah, I mean the more the more,
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: my mama, mama, tell them who I am? You the goat?
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: She said it. I didn't let me take all of these. Please,
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: we'll be back more a sports doc show right after this.

- 1:39:48Speaker 1: race car driver is uh driving while intoxicated? How would
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: you know? Do they test after the after the conto?
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: It says kirk Bush was arrested on Tuesday night round
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: eleven thirty. He was going forty five miles per hour
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: over the speeding Oh plus forty five. Oh excuse me,
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: he's going twenty miles per hour over the speed limit. Okay,
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: but that's what I'm saying. A race car driver shouldn't
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: they get that kind of credit. So he's basically doing
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: sixty five and a forty five I do that night.
- 1:40:29Speaker 9: No race car driver, respectfully, I'm saying, I ain't you know,

- 1:41:56Speaker 1: they're typically the most popular. As I always tell people,
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: good bad quarterbacks are known in a city, the good
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: ones and the bad ones. You know, no matter what
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: they do, they will be remembered in their city. But
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: Tom Brady in the booth, you gotta get ready for
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: some of that. See how Tom do if I be
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: up there? Too? Cool with it though, you know you're
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: looking for him to be excited. Look at him run
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: that ball. That's that's such a basic. Yeah he look,
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: he dropped back. He only shook two guys. Okay, I
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: can't believe he missed that throw. It was ninety eight yards. Like,
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: well what I would have did? Yeah, yeah, totally different
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: than we're gonna trying to predict what you doing.
- 1:42:45Speaker 9: Tony Romo was just quick to tell you I couldn't
- 1:42:47Speaker 9: have made that throw, right, And they'll be trying to
- 1:42:51Speaker 9: throw at to Tom. We're going to Tom, and where's Tom?
- 1:42:54Speaker 9: He down on the sideline? Man, let me how let
- 1:42:55Speaker 9: you real quick?
- 1:42:56Speaker 4: Now?
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: When you snap back, you got to cover the ball. Wait, Tom,
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: you not a coach? Sad news out of Minnesota with
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: the Vikings JJ McCarthy is out for the season after
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: that meniscus surgery. At first they said a couple of weeks.
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: Must have been worse once they got inside, or maybe
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: they just figured it was going to be so far
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: into the season for the rookie, we might as well
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: not even try to light that cigarette, you know, if
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: you get down to Halloween and Thanksgiving, might as well
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: just maybe float for rookie, Just float that out right.
- 1:43:28Speaker 17: Well, I've heard something like this before that if it's
- 1:43:33Speaker 17: a torn meniscus, if you get the repair where they
- 1:43:38Speaker 17: stitch it together or something like that, you can be
- 1:43:41Speaker 17: back in like six weeks, but if you let heal naturally,
- 1:43:45Speaker 17: it can take months, like six or seven months. So
- 1:43:51Speaker 17: I thought I was because I heard that with as
- 1:43:53Speaker 17: far as like Derrick Rose and west Or Westbrook had
- 1:43:56Speaker 17: the same injury. Rose let it heal naturally, so he
- 1:43:59Speaker 17: missed the whole season. Westbrook took the other route and
- 1:44:03Speaker 17: he was back in like a month.
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: And that's what I'm saying with McCart since he is
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: a rookie and he was their first round pick, that
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: they might be playing the long game. There's no need
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: to start off, you know, I'm looking at the other
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: fifty two people on this team, and we don't look
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: super Bowl bound. So instead of even worrying about that
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: that question, will just take the long route that we
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: feel like when you do come back, we don't ever
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: have to keep questioning whether it's gonna tear or not again.
- 1:44:39Speaker 17: And it could be I don't like it if they
- 1:44:44Speaker 17: decide to go that route. It seems perfectly fine. And
- 1:44:48Speaker 17: I've talked to you about this. I'm fine with a
- 1:44:50Speaker 17: quarterback not playing as a rookie. They can sit and
- 1:44:56Speaker 17: learn the offense, all the terminology, and it's it's like
- 1:45:00Speaker 17: a red shirt year.
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, he definitely out means you just won't be
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: playing on the Sunday, but he'll be in all the meetings,
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: you know, all that kind of stuff. He'll be in.
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: He'll be out there throwing. Rules probably stipulate that he
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: can't throw with the actual team, but he can throw
- 1:45:20Speaker 1: to guys they bring in that they might be scouting
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: for injured people, or the practice squad guys, things like that.
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: They have people that he can get some movement and rehab.
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: But it might be something like you're saying, if it's
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: going that far into the season, we might as well.
- 1:45:41Speaker 1: Just wait, if he was a veteran or something, we
- 1:45:46Speaker 1: can do the sixth week, but rookie might as well
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: just let this be a wash and learning year for
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: better for him too.
- 1:45:58Speaker 9: I think I was going to say, I would love
- 1:46:01Speaker 9: to see how this in the future manifest that if
- 1:46:05Speaker 9: he comes in and does what it is they expect
- 1:46:08Speaker 9: him to do and then has that longevity, and maybe
- 1:46:11Speaker 9: it'll change how some teams encourage athletes to recover.
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes it's too and you're exactly right, command says.
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: I've always said with rookie quarterbacks, that is the one
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: position that if I'm the GM, I'm the owner, I'm
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: trying to figure out a situation that I can get
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: you a year of being the second quarterback. I think
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: that's like here in Atlanta, if I am the Falcons,
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: I'm hoping Kirk Cousin, not just because I think he
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: can get the job done, but I want him in
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: so Michael Pennix can just learn right and see and
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: then see the schedule, see the hours to put in
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: to learn how to break down film. And we've had
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: more success doing it that way than we've had with
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: this day one starter thing that everybody seems to be
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: caught up in We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show.
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: Right after this, jn't bow away.
- 1:47:27Speaker 14: More of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Danfridis coming
- 1:47:30Speaker 14: up next.
- 1:47:32Speaker 32: Said you'd never buy your kid candy from the checkout
- 1:47:35Speaker 32: aisle or forget extra diapers. You'd never lick your thumb
- 1:47:39Speaker 32: to clean their face. Never ever become a minivan mom.
- 1:47:44Speaker 32: So when you say you'd never leave your child in
- 1:47:46Speaker 32: a hot car, no, it can happen. Cars get hot fast,
- 1:47:51Speaker 32: and kids can be at risk in temperatures as low
- 1:47:53Speaker 32: as sixty degrees fahrenheit. Never happens before you leave the car.
- 1:47:57Speaker 12: Always stop. Look lock.
- 1:48:00Speaker 32: Brought to you by Nitza and the Ad Council.
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: Hi, We're the Goo Goo Dolls.
- 1:48:03Speaker 6: We're fortunate that our daughters have what they need to
- 1:48:05Speaker 6: grow and learn, but that isn't the case for nearly
- 1:48:08Speaker 6: thirteen million kids.
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: In the US that struggle with hunger.
- 1:48:11Speaker 30: Child in hunger is a heartbreaking reality that Feeding America
- 1:48:14Speaker 30: is working to change. Each year, the Feeding American network
- 1:48:17Speaker 30: of food banks rescues billions of pounds of good food
- 1:48:19Speaker 30: that would have gone to waste and provides it to
- 1:48:21Speaker 30: families and children in need.
- 1:48:22Speaker 6: You can help kids in need in your community by
- 1:48:25Speaker 6: visiting Feeding America dot org brought.
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: To you by Feeding America and the AD Council.
- 1:48:32Speaker 10: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:48:35Speaker 10: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:48:38Speaker 10: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:48:42Speaker 10: life insurance.
- 1:48:43Speaker 19: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:48:45Speaker 19: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:48:47Speaker 19: forever life insurance.
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:48:52Speaker 19: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:48:54Speaker 19: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:48:56Speaker 19: survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:48:58Speaker 19: the insurance informant.
- 1:49:00Speaker 10: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:49:03Speaker 10: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:49:05Speaker 19: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:49:08Speaker 19: leave my family that bills or benefits.
- 1:49:09Speaker 10: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:49:12Speaker 10: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:49:14Speaker 10: need is the insurance informat to help you build a
- 1:49:17Speaker 10: foundation of security, because without you your family will have
- 1:49:20Speaker 10: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:49:25Speaker 10: Log on today benefits orbills dot Com. That's benefits orbills
- 1:49:30Speaker 10: dot Com. And now back to the sports Job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:49:39Speaker 25: Now it's time for the school board when we put
- 1:49:42Speaker 25: a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle
- 1:49:47Speaker 25: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: Welc back to this worshop show. I'm the sport shock wing.
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: Candie touched Olympian Stephen Vaughan the All Day, the gentleman
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: that was in beach volleyball did an interview. He's the
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: one that was convicted of rape back when he was nineteen,
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: did an interview of the night crying and all I
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: want to say to you, Stephen, keep your tears. Bruh.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: You weren't crying when he was raping at twelve year old.
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: This ain't one of those I was seventeen, she was sixteen,
- 1:51:05Speaker 1: under eight. This is twelve and nineteen. Cry that river
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: somewhere else. That's just man me. I'm not speaking of
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: Big Kenny or Yeah. And you were at the middle school.
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: You trying to web we meet some web of how
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: that actually happened. Rape is intentional, not accidental. You don't
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: accidentally rape someone. You accidentally hit people with the car.
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: That's an accident. Spill a drink on them. To rape someone, yeah,
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: you have to rap someone, right yeah or yeah yeah.
- 1:51:59Speaker 1: And for him to be crying now, don't cry now
- 1:52:02Speaker 1: because the world has figured out and you thought, you know,
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: you should have already known. When you go to Olympics,
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: all the masks come off. It's like running for politics.
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: Everything gets everybody's ever known everyone is. That's I'm saying,
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: anyone that's ever known you is going to have something
- 1:52:23Speaker 1: to say.
- 1:52:25Speaker 17: I'm surprised this country let him come. Well, they he'd
- 1:52:29Speaker 17: served his time in that country. I know people have
- 1:52:32Speaker 17: that their issues with what with the kind of sentence
- 1:52:36Speaker 17: he got compared to America.
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: But he served the time. They said he could go.
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: But that doesn't mean we forget well, and I don't.
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: I can't sit there and be like, oh, I don't
- 1:52:49Speaker 1: think you should be able to make your life better
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: and whatever all that and go to Olympics. I'm talking
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: about the part where you trying to go and find
- 1:52:57Speaker 1: some somebody to be sympathetic you eight nine years later,
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: because he's like what twenty seven, twenty eight. Now, as
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: though I'm supposed to be like, oh man, you grew
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: from your rape. No, you rape. This isn't that rate
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: where we've seen in our country. Here in Georgia. The
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: kid was eighteen and the girl was seventeen and they
- 1:53:23Speaker 1: had intercourse and the family got upset and they sent
- 1:53:28Speaker 1: him to jail. And it's like, you know, it was
- 1:53:32Speaker 1: more of a technical thing. You're nineteen twelve. What you're
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: doing even knowing some twelve year olds that's rape. So
- 1:53:41Speaker 1: go to the Olympics, do whatever you do, but don't
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: go on TV trying to get me and Big Kenny
- 1:53:46Speaker 1: to feel sorry that the world criticized you for raping
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: a young lady when she was twelve years old. Colin
- 1:53:55Speaker 1: Kaepernick says he still wants to play football. Do y'all
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: believe him? Or is that jazz his goal to when
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: people ask him he hasn't played in seven years? Eight years?
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: And he is how old? He's like thirty six? Thirty seven? Now, well, now,
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: if we're going to be technical, but he hasn't played
- 1:54:15Speaker 1: since twenty sixteen. Do you remember twenty sixteen? What were
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: you doing in twenty six I don't remember twenty Super Bowl.
- 1:54:26Speaker 9: I don't remember sixteen minutes ago, and you're asking me
- 1:54:29Speaker 9: twenty sixteen. Now, we talked about disingenuous statements. Colin Kaepernick
- 1:54:36Speaker 9: professional football player. You know there's a window. You know
- 1:54:40Speaker 9: his window is continuously gotten smaller and smaller. But I
- 1:54:45Speaker 9: got John Blaize, though I got not enough to get
- 1:54:48Speaker 9: back in the NFL. Now, I think technically he's correct
- 1:54:52Speaker 9: when he says he still want to play.
- 1:54:54Speaker 1: A lot of us want to play. A lot of
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: us want to play. You still see yourself hitting that
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: game winning home run.
- 1:55:00Speaker 9: No, for the now, I see myself in the front
- 1:55:04Speaker 9: office with the Cubs on some Yeah, youngster used to
- 1:55:08Speaker 9: water play, but then I got into the front office saying, well,
- 1:55:12Speaker 9: I'm a billionaire now. But I don't think that he
- 1:55:16Speaker 9: what's his true expectation of physically being able to get
- 1:55:19Speaker 9: on the field.
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: And play football. I can still throw the ball seventy yards.
- 1:55:23Speaker 9: You could still throw at seventy yards, but that's by
- 1:55:26Speaker 9: yourself with your cool to can take T shirt on
- 1:55:29Speaker 9: down at the high school. What about when people are
- 1:55:32Speaker 9: rushing you and you're having to do reads and you've
- 1:55:36Speaker 9: been out of the game eight.
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: Years ever since I haven't played in eight years. I
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: still got kind of got some speed. But no, that's
- 1:55:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 1:55:45Speaker 9: You ain't got no mechanics though, you ain't got no
- 1:55:48Speaker 9: chemistry with nobody. You don't have any point of reference
- 1:55:52Speaker 9: for today's game. That's almost a decade ago. The game
- 1:55:57Speaker 9: has changed, rules have changed. So I don't think he'll
- 1:56:01Speaker 9: ever come back. But you know, for him to keep
- 1:56:03Speaker 9: saying it seemed like a great way to generate likes
- 1:56:07Speaker 9: and clicks.
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: Head coach of the Chargers, Jim Harball offered a coaching job.
- 1:56:12Speaker 9: Is some of the rumor that he nothing says you
- 1:56:15Speaker 9: won't quarterback here quite like being offered.
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: A coaching job. And when Jim Harball was his coach,
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: he was his coach for a couple of years in
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: San Francisco. Yeah, at that time, he's the one that
- 1:56:26Speaker 1: put him on the field. Okay, that was the connection
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: that he would have had. So it's very interesting at
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: least Jim understands the predicament and offering him that path, because,
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: as I've explained to some people, as much as Kaepernick's
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: name blew up in fame, it blew up not from
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: what he was trying to make himself famous of doing
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: and for a lot of people that is difficult, and
- 1:56:54Speaker 1: you know, it's like being, you know, purchasing something with
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: other people's money and never having that feeling that you
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: work forward his fame in a lot of ways. Yes,
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: it was probably great and satisfying that he got his
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: calls out there, but remember, I'm in the midst of
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: my football career, and without that incident in his life,
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: most likely these last eight years, he would have been
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: on somebody's team, even if it's just a backup. He's
- 1:57:24Speaker 1: been around the league because there's several teams now that
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: kind of run that offense. Kyler Murray runs the kind
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: of movement, and that's what I'm saying. Watson places where
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: his style would have at least got him on the feaker,
- 1:57:39Speaker 1: the backed up Josh Allen. That's my point about.
- 1:57:43Speaker 9: He knows that they know who fits these schemes, in
- 1:57:47Speaker 9: these styles, and those people ain't reaching out to you.
- 1:57:50Speaker 9: These people know who they could put in these and
- 1:57:53Speaker 9: they're not calling. What makes you think that the phone's
- 1:57:56Speaker 9: gonna start ringing In twenty twenty.
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: Five, Colin carp Fernick, maybe we'll see him coaching. I
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: don't see where he coaches with the Chargers though, because
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: their quarterback is not really that style. So I guess
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: Jim Harbold knows something we don't, maybe having somewhere else
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: like a receiver coach or something, but maybe in the
- 1:58:19Speaker 1: media office telling people what not to do. And we
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: your in the ocean.
- 1:58:31Speaker 25: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Judge
- 1:58:34Speaker 25: Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: Were designed an ocean goods sports out just a minute
- 1:59:01Speaker 1: to Vin. We'd like to thank you for tuning in
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: today or on Monday show.
- 1:59:05Speaker 5: Please, if you missed any of the shows this week,
- 1:59:08Speaker 5: you can go to Apple Podcast, Amazon Podcast, Audible, dzer iHeartRadio,
- 1:59:15Speaker 5: and Spotify to catch the show. Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg,
- 1:59:19Speaker 5: thank you for your contributions today. As I said, if
- 1:59:23Speaker 5: you like a little high school football Tomorrow night seven
- 1:59:26Speaker 5: thirty the Baurefoot Woolves playing the Milton Eagles, number twelve
- 1:59:30Speaker 5: in the nation versus number six in the nation in
- 1:59:36Speaker 5: high school football and Week two preseason for the n
- 1:59:41Speaker 5: f L. Sticking with the NFL going in the ocean
- 1:59:45Speaker 5: today and hopefully I'm praying I'm praying for this young
- 1:59:52Speaker 5: man that I have to come back and retrack this story.
- 1:59:58Speaker 5: Young rookie second round p for the Cleveland Browns, Michael
- 2:00:03Speaker 5: Hall Junior arrested on Tuesday after he reportedly put a
- 2:00:08Speaker 5: gun to his fiance head after dragging her down the stairs,
- 2:00:13Speaker 5: basically yelling and telling her that he will end it
- 2:00:18Speaker 5: for all. And what's so scary? This happens so much
- 2:00:24Speaker 5: now you can imagine it happening. It used to be
- 2:00:27Speaker 5: something they must have mixed up the facts. But we've
- 2:00:31Speaker 5: seen this.
- 2:00:32Speaker 1: Kind of domestic violence where someone triggers, goes off and
- 2:00:37Speaker 1: everyone in the house at the time loses their life.
- 2:00:41Speaker 1: So I'm praying, Mike, I gotta come back and get
- 2:00:44Speaker 1: you out of the ocean. Because to be twenty one,
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: twenty two year old this kind of case, you won't
- 2:00:52Speaker 1: ever play in the NFL. It's one thing to even
- 2:00:58Speaker 1: hit a young lady now and have domestic violence, but
- 2:01:04Speaker 1: to prove that you pulled your gun out and put
- 2:01:06Speaker 1: it to her head and said I'll end it all
- 2:01:10Speaker 1: for all of us, it's a very scary thing and
