- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to We Talk Back Podcast, the production of iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and the Black Effect Network Talk.
- 0:08Speaker 2: We're just two unapologetically black women with an opinion who talks.
- 0:15Speaker 2: What's up, y'all?
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's your girl, a j Holiday, what's up Tam Bam, y'all.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It's meet tm ban. I love y'all so much. Thank
- 0:23Speaker 2: you for coming back again. It's a girl. What you
- 0:27Speaker 2: do this weekend?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Not a damn thing? Not a damn thing. Oh sorry,
- 0:34Speaker 1: from going to my one of my friend's funeral, my
- 0:37Speaker 1: friend's son's funeral. That pretty much drained me. Child. That
- 0:41Speaker 1: was Saturday, and I was no good. I probably ain't
- 0:44Speaker 1: wake up til about one o'clock Sunday. This is a rough,
- 0:50Speaker 1: a rough weekend kind of Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I didn't this ship either. This weekend. It
- 0:57Speaker 2: was raining and I was just tired. So I went
- 1:01Speaker 2: to work and I did not once I got home
- 1:03Speaker 2: from work, I just did not leave again till Monday.
- 1:08Speaker 1: It was a good days. That's usually how my weekends be.
- 1:11Speaker 1: For real. If I'm in town, I'm in the house
- 1:13Speaker 1: because it ain't nothing outside. For real. I'll even be
- 1:16Speaker 1: like com mingling.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Aud here, like a commingle every now and then. But
- 1:24Speaker 2: I just rent was due, you know out.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I just I just paid my rent this morning. I
- 1:33Speaker 1: don't know why. I just I don't know. I just
- 1:36Speaker 1: intentionally wait to we got like until I guess it's
- 1:39Speaker 1: to the fourth usually, But I just I don't know.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Why Why do we Why do you delay? You got
- 1:44Speaker 1: the money today? Why delay some control? Like I did
- 1:50Speaker 1: send a maintenance request along with my rent though I
- 1:52Speaker 1: need a new washing machine, and why everybody else in
- 1:55Speaker 1: my building got h key padlocks? And I don't right,
- 1:59Speaker 1: I need some mother fucking upgrades, you hear me, I
- 2:03Speaker 1: need some motherfucking upgrades.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I'm here for you. Does getting the sins?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Who we got going on this week?
- 2:11Speaker 2: Y'all?
- 2:14Speaker 1: I really want to start with this is a brand
- 2:18Speaker 1: new headline. Of course, you know, you know our shows
- 2:20Speaker 1: are pre recorded. But today the reality TV star Sydney
- 2:30Speaker 1: Star the trans woman, which I mean, I don't I
- 2:35Speaker 1: don't think is technically trans if you haven't actually transitioned.
- 2:38Speaker 1: But reality show star Sydney Starr was arrested in Georgia
- 2:46Speaker 1: on multiple felony charges involving a minor. Okay, so apparently
- 2:53Speaker 1: she got busted. He got busted, in an MBAC suite
- 2:58Speaker 1: hotel with a child under the age of sixteen. They
- 3:04Speaker 1: have charged her with child molestation a sodomy. They have
- 3:10Speaker 1: not yet yet released any details because the victim is
- 3:14Speaker 1: a minor, but as of right now, Sydney has no
- 3:19Speaker 1: has not publicly responded to the allegations and wait and
- 3:25Speaker 1: the case remains on going. So look, yes, my.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Thing is, I don't care if you want to, I
- 3:34Speaker 2: don't care what you identify as, but please do not
- 3:37Speaker 2: identify as a child molestic because that's a problem.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Yes, And I think that's a lot of people's concern
- 3:43Speaker 1: with the LGBTQ community because they have been usurped. Right,
- 3:48Speaker 1: the old school LGBTQ ain't for none of that bullshit.
- 3:52Speaker 1: But they are trying to put these maps, these minor
- 3:55Speaker 1: attracted persons. They're trying to add that in at the
- 3:58Speaker 1: end of the Q. You see what I'm saying, Why
- 4:01Speaker 1: it becomes to be, you know, becomes so dangerous wanting
- 4:04Speaker 1: to be in female spaces, restrooms, stuff like that. We
- 4:09Speaker 1: don't know who these people are, what they're really into,
- 4:13Speaker 1: and they're hide and behind the guys of you know,
- 4:16Speaker 1: I'm just regularly we don't know.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Who nobody to fuck it is, honestly, you never know.
- 4:21Speaker 2: But just don't fucking touch the babies. That's my thing.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Lead the babies out of it. Stop, don't put your
- 4:27Speaker 2: hand on those baby, Like, what are you doing with
- 4:30Speaker 2: their child in the hotel?
- 4:31Speaker 1: Right?
- 4:33Speaker 2: M I don't know.
- 4:34Speaker 1: He's also sick too, And I'm making up a rumor.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I feel like I heard that before, Like what kind
- 4:40Speaker 1: of sick what they call it in the gay community,
- 4:44Speaker 1: the flu, Yeah, the flu very possible.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I mean, there's a lot of people who live with that.
- 4:53Speaker 2: But just don't fuck with the babies. That's where I lit.
- 4:59Speaker 1: And it sounds like she got caught. He got caught
- 5:01Speaker 1: red handed, And I keep I'm saying he because I'm like,
- 5:04Speaker 1: you know, it's so weird, like when a when a
- 5:06Speaker 1: transwoman acts, or even like a gay guy acts, you know, feminine,
- 5:10Speaker 1: you automatically be like girl, you know, it just comes
- 5:13Speaker 1: and rolls off. But something happens when they commit a crime.
- 5:19Speaker 1: It's like collectively now people online in the comments calling
- 5:22Speaker 1: him a hymn as opposed to she. It's very interesting
- 5:28Speaker 1: to me. Once you commit a crime, you're no longer trans,
- 5:32Speaker 1: your whatever is exactly because I mean, technically, if he
- 5:37Speaker 1: goes to prison, he's probably going to go to a
- 5:39Speaker 1: male prison. Well, and that's where he would belong. Don't
- 5:47Speaker 1: fuck with the babies, lead the babies all everybody's leave
- 5:54Speaker 1: anybody alone. That's not a willing participant in devotion.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but still especially a reasonable child. So all right,
- 6:04Speaker 2: let me go over this. This is what I found
- 6:08Speaker 2: Ariana Grande we drew from London Musical after her rep share.
- 6:14Speaker 2: She'll be taking a break from the public Guye due
- 6:16Speaker 2: to ongoing public scrutiny. Now, I don't know if y'all
- 6:21Speaker 2: seen her, but she is very thin, and I think,
- 6:26Speaker 2: you know, it's some people like talking shit, but a
- 6:28Speaker 2: lot of people are concerned with her health. No, and
- 6:32Speaker 2: I'm sure she reads the comments and probably feels very
- 6:35Speaker 2: offended by some of the things that people say. And
- 6:38Speaker 2: it just made me think about Chad with Bozeman and
- 6:40Speaker 2: how he was sick and everybody was like, oh, saying
- 6:44Speaker 2: real mean ugly thanks to not knowing that he was
- 6:47Speaker 2: fighting for his life. So, you know, so I have
- 6:51Speaker 2: to give her some grace. I worry about her.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I worry about her. And what's the actress from
- 6:57Speaker 1: Wicked Cynthia Irrevio rival or the black woman who played
- 7:03Speaker 1: the wicked witch and Wicked who actually wasn't Wicked. But
- 7:07Speaker 1: it seems like neither one of them have been the
- 7:09Speaker 1: same since starting in that movie. And it's just the
- 7:12Speaker 1: weirdest thing.
- 7:13Speaker 2: It was some interesting energy when they were doing their
- 7:18Speaker 2: promo tour for the movie with some interesting and it's
- 7:22Speaker 2: going on.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It's almost like Cynthia was like a bodyguard for Aria
- 7:26Speaker 1: and Gande.
- 7:27Speaker 2: She was very protective of her. I thought they might
- 7:30Speaker 2: have been sisterling after I don't know, I don't know.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It was just and it might just be like a
- 7:37Speaker 2: sisterly or motherly loved her perhaps, but it was very
- 7:42Speaker 2: either boyfriend or mama bear. And I don't know.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I mean, if you look at their hands, the hands
- 7:48Speaker 1: are all skinny, long nails, it's just it looks wicked,
- 7:54Speaker 1: just like the movie. And I remember a while ago
- 7:57Speaker 1: there was a Ario and Grande was on in the
- 8:00Speaker 1: red carpet and she was talking about how she went
- 8:02Speaker 1: to the some clinic call Happy Days or some shit
- 8:05Speaker 1: like that where they erased her memory. Brighter days, brighter days,
- 8:10Speaker 1: Okay they and I believe her right, So online they're
- 8:14Speaker 1: trying to say she was being sarcastic and trying to
- 8:16Speaker 1: be funny, But if y'all actually google this video, she
- 8:19Speaker 1: was dead ass serious, basically saying she needed to revisit
- 8:22Speaker 1: the clinic to get her memory back, and there are
- 8:25Speaker 1: places like that. You know. Nobody, nobody took Kanye West
- 8:29Speaker 1: serious when he was saying that his trainer, a Jewish
- 8:34Speaker 1: trainer who was in he was in the Canadian military,
- 8:40Speaker 1: basically drugged him and caused him to go into a
- 8:44Speaker 1: manic episode. He literally put out text messages of this
- 8:49Speaker 1: man telling him, you want to see your kids in
- 8:52Speaker 1: the future, what should I do to you next time?
- 8:57Speaker 1: And people act like Kanye Wes was the crazy person.
- 9:01Speaker 1: He's literally putting it in your face that these people
- 9:04Speaker 1: are are fucking with you know, fucking with their heads.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Mk Ultra is real. It's a real program. You can
- 9:11Speaker 1: pull up government documentation on mkulture. It's a it's a
- 9:15Speaker 1: brainwashing technique that they do. So I don't know, man,
- 9:20Speaker 1: the world is fucking crazy. Yeah, that's gonna be around here,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and I'll never be trying to sound like a I
- 9:28Speaker 1: don't even subscribe to like conspiracy theorists because the term
- 9:31Speaker 1: doesn't even make any sense, right, conspiracy and you look
- 9:34Speaker 1: at the definition of either one of those words, it
- 9:37Speaker 1: just doesn't even go together. But at some point you
- 9:44Speaker 1: gotta start questioning some of this ship, okay, and looking
- 9:48Speaker 1: deep into because everybody ain't crazy. I agree.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Prince for Ariana Grande that she you know,
- 10:00Speaker 2: hills from whatever she may or may not be going
- 10:03Speaker 2: to her.
- 10:04Speaker 1: A lot of them people sign up for exactly what
- 10:06Speaker 1: we're seeing. They signed up for it, they had an
- 10:08Speaker 1: expiration date, they wanted like, it's just things you gotta
- 10:13Speaker 1: do sometimes, right, I don't know. I mean, I side
- 10:18Speaker 1: more with how people want to live their life and
- 10:21Speaker 1: what they want to do. I'm with it. If you
- 10:24Speaker 1: like it, I love it. So anyway. Jim Jones, y'all listen,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I am a super duper dipset fan. Okay. When I
- 10:32Speaker 1: went to college, that's all. I was playing in my
- 10:35Speaker 1: ma's nine to nine with my Dolphin CD player, you remember,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I had like the Dolphin graphics with the blue blue
- 10:42Speaker 1: neon lights. Yes, I'm a big fan. But when I
- 10:48Speaker 1: tell you all that, nigga be getting on my damn nerves.
- 10:50Speaker 1: So now on, you know, Jim Jones Dave East fabulous
- 10:58Speaker 1: and may not have a podcast right, and may know
- 11:00Speaker 1: to me is the most funniest on that ship. You
- 11:03Speaker 1: talking me, I see it. I haven't really actually watched
- 11:05Speaker 1: a full episode of They Should Have You. No, Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: but they made no funny as hell. But Dave East
- 11:13Speaker 1: was reading I guess it was like maybe somebody writing
- 11:15Speaker 1: this basically saying like somebody rolled in, I guess, and
- 11:20Speaker 1: Davies was reading it saying if the club scene is dead,
- 11:24Speaker 1: where women supposed to sit at in the club and
- 11:26Speaker 1: shit like that? And when did night life turn into
- 11:28Speaker 1: a boys club? Can the ladies get a seat? He
- 11:32Speaker 1: comes Jim Jones from Leftfield talk about this bottle? What
- 11:37Speaker 1: should we pay? What you say, pay nine hundred and
- 11:39Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars for a bottle? You're talking about eight
- 11:42Speaker 1: bottle of rolls? Now, y'all bitches can't come in to
- 11:44Speaker 1: set who you want? In this section he said he
- 11:47Speaker 1: was joking. He only was joking, and this is why
- 11:58Speaker 1: it's so important for men to check other men. Right.
- 12:01Speaker 1: He only said he was joking, and so the rest
- 12:04Speaker 1: of the group said that ship wasn't cool. Right, He
- 12:08Speaker 1: wasn't joking when he was first saying it because then
- 12:10Speaker 1: he later started talking about women wearing kitten heels to
- 12:12Speaker 1: the club, and Tammy just told me too, we used
- 12:15Speaker 1: to go to kitten heels is back in style.
- 12:18Speaker 2: They are in style. That's why he talking about it,
- 12:20Speaker 2: because he keeps saying them, the.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Niggas don't like kitten heels in the section. So I
- 12:26Speaker 1: don't know if y'all know you're supposed to still be
- 12:27Speaker 1: wearing six inch stripping heels in the section. Listen, if
- 12:31Speaker 1: you in a section with women your age, it's gonna
- 12:34Speaker 1: be some kitten heels in that bit because we tied
- 12:36Speaker 1: of walking the hills nigga with.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Any there is, and my thing is until you walk
- 12:45Speaker 2: them a mile in my shoes. Please don't tell me
- 12:47Speaker 2: what I can wear, sir, But it's your section. You
- 12:50Speaker 2: don't have to have a single kitten heel in there
- 12:52Speaker 2: if that's what you want, because guess what, I can
- 12:55Speaker 2: get my own set.
- 12:55Speaker 1: He wanted Mari sneakers and the Mari jeans. He just
- 12:58Speaker 1: want a bunch of niggas in the section to be
- 13:00Speaker 1: in a section by yourself, because what what are we
- 13:03Speaker 1: talking about? But yeah, it wasn't until the other men
- 13:06Speaker 1: right checked him on it. He was he was standing
- 13:09Speaker 1: by that ship that bitches. He don't want no bitches
- 13:13Speaker 1: in the section. And Mina was like, what what nigga?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Now I need women. I want all the bites in
- 13:20Speaker 1: my section. Yes, real men want women around and they
- 13:25Speaker 1: like to do things for women.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Right, drink up, there's more period champagne showers.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Fuck you talk about I feel bad for Christy Man.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Sometimes they just don't like us for real. Yeah, because
- 13:40Speaker 1: it's like some real life homo Uh what is the
- 13:44Speaker 1: word not homo eroticism, is homo sociality. And that's what
- 13:50Speaker 1: I be talking about. When niggas is gay in the mind.
- 13:53Speaker 1: They may never physically actually do a gay act, but
- 13:57Speaker 1: they really don't fuck with women like that. You know
- 14:00Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It would like, yeah, to have conversation
- 14:03Speaker 1: and converse and to be around men, and that shit
- 14:06Speaker 1: is fucking borderline gay.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I like got that because these niggas get on my nerves.
- 14:13Speaker 1: You like to be around women more.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I enjoyed the company of women more than men.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I okay, I do enjoy being around I kind of
- 14:25Speaker 1: like being around a mix of everybody. You know what
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, yes, if I'm in like doing an
- 14:30Speaker 1: intimate thing. I want to be with a man. If
- 14:32Speaker 1: I'm like out dinner, like or just maybe a trip
- 14:35Speaker 1: and stuff, I like to be with a man. But
- 14:38Speaker 1: like if we just doing like some bar shit, some
- 14:40Speaker 1: club shit, like lounge type shit, it could be like
- 14:43Speaker 1: a mixture like everybody, but just straight all women. Yeah,
- 14:52Speaker 1: I like this. I just like a whole group of
- 14:54Speaker 1: people like like minded, all us chilling cuss and talking loud.
- 14:58Speaker 1: That's fun.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't even have to be exactly like minded,
- 15:02Speaker 2: because sometimes having a diverse opinion group shakes things up
- 15:07Speaker 2: a little bit and makes it more fun. Days out
- 15:10Speaker 2: of perspective, I can appreciate that my days.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Are debating as old witch.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yiad.
- 15:15Speaker 1: We don't got a debate.
- 15:16Speaker 2: We just can have different perspective. It's always nice to
- 15:19Speaker 2: hear someone who thinks a little different than you.
- 15:21Speaker 1: You know, I don't even I be trying to even
- 15:24Speaker 1: bring up shit. I got to even like have a
- 15:27Speaker 1: different opinion on the fuck fuck you.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Okay, real man anyway, shit, Now that hod is over,
- 15:41Speaker 2: a lot of us have hovid you know, like just
- 15:44Speaker 2: that what it was called, That's what I call it.
- 15:46Speaker 1: You like it interesting? Okay, let's go with it.
- 15:51Speaker 2: We uh was going through withdrawals from like the jay
- 15:55Speaker 2: Z Hotelo hoteler my hotel hotel about weekend in New York,
- 16:01Speaker 2: and we go on talk We're talking to jay Z today, right.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Yeah, we're talking jay Z and if not capitalism, what's
- 16:09Speaker 1: your niggas really want?
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get into that. What's all I want?
- 16:15Speaker 1: We'll be very back. I want to talk about the
- 16:22Speaker 1: controversy where jay Z and Target deals, Like we kind
- 16:26Speaker 1: of mentioned it a couple of weeks ago when when
- 16:28Speaker 1: you were talking about being at the concert and the ship. Yeah,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and you know the unspoken uh responsibility, right, our millionaires
- 16:43Speaker 1: and billionaires supposedly have to the black community just because
- 16:47Speaker 1: you know, black people, we we just at the bottom
- 16:50Speaker 1: of the totem pole, right, and until we do uh
- 16:53Speaker 1: collectively have like a mind shift, uh complete Yes this
- 16:59Speaker 1: this we're going to be. Yeah. I don't accept that
- 17:02Speaker 1: particular positioning. I don't accept it at all. And you
- 17:06Speaker 1: know what we're looking at is capitalism, right, I think
- 17:11Speaker 1: it was Mandy what's about her new podcast name Many
- 17:16Speaker 1: from Decisions Decisions? She has another podcast, and I forgot
- 17:20Speaker 1: the guests that are on but they were talking about
- 17:23Speaker 1: the jay Z controversy, and you know, I guess they
- 17:25Speaker 1: weren't purchasing JAZ tickets and shit like that. I know
- 17:28Speaker 1: you went to the concert an employee, a partner of
- 17:36Speaker 1: rock Nation, but I just want to know, you know,
- 17:41Speaker 1: if not capitalism, then what you know what I'm saying,
- 17:45Speaker 1: because all different types of economies, whether you're talking about socialism, communism,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you know you're thinking about the Russians and the Germans,
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah that's where we're at for real, okay, or socialism,
- 18:02Speaker 1: they all have their pros and cons. For me, I
- 18:05Speaker 1: won't say I'm a capitalist per se, but I like
- 18:09Speaker 1: the free markets and I like to have the same
- 18:12Speaker 1: opportunity as everyone else to make money, to create something
- 18:17Speaker 1: spectacular and have people buy into my idea and be
- 18:20Speaker 1: able to fucking feed my family. I think it's because
- 18:24Speaker 1: we're at the bottom of this system why people hate
- 18:28Speaker 1: it so much. But if the roles were reverse, if
- 18:30Speaker 1: we were the ones in power and we were the
- 18:32Speaker 1: ones creating all the things, because really, if you think
- 18:37Speaker 1: about it, we are the ones that have always created
- 18:39Speaker 1: all the things. But then but then we don't know
- 18:43Speaker 1: the science of business, right, and we end up losing
- 18:47Speaker 1: ideas to these billionaires, because just because somebody is rich,
- 18:50Speaker 1: that doesn't make them smart.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I don't feel like it's fair to say that we
- 18:53Speaker 2: don't know the science of business, because it's been proven
- 18:57Speaker 2: that there were black community that were thriving absolutely with
- 19:02Speaker 2: hospitals and schools, and they.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Were I'm talking about us now. Yeah, but we've lost
- 19:08Speaker 1: a lot of.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Things because they every time we build it, they come
- 19:12Speaker 2: they destroy it.
- 19:14Speaker 1: So you know, and I think now they may not
- 19:17Speaker 1: destroy it in that sense, they just give you an
- 19:20Speaker 1: offer you can't refuse.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Right because they want in a barrel. And when we
- 19:27Speaker 2: do come together and unify and find a way to
- 19:31Speaker 2: destroy it, so then we're all trying to just save ourselves.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I don't think that no one has ever been able
- 19:37Speaker 1: to do anything to the Black community without assistance from
- 19:40Speaker 1: somebody within the black community, you know what I'm saying.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So we sometimes we gotta we gotta look, I mean, shit, we.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Can go Black Wall Street. Do you think it was
- 19:47Speaker 2: a black person helping them burn down the communities they
- 19:50Speaker 2: were dropping?
- 19:52Speaker 1: Not not not in that was more direct disrespect, right,
- 19:57Speaker 1: But we know all our great some of our great
- 19:59Speaker 1: leaders been infiltrated or positioned, you know, somewhere somebody was positioned,
- 20:04Speaker 1: a judas was positioned somewhere to infiltrate. Those things happened, right,
- 20:09Speaker 1: So we're not solid amongst each other. That's why somebody
- 20:13Speaker 1: can always come in and do something to us. And
- 20:14Speaker 1: I mean, I'm thinking back even further before the people
- 20:18Speaker 1: showed up on the shores, everybody looking like us, and
- 20:21Speaker 1: then these pale faces showed up, and our ancestors was
- 20:25Speaker 1: probably like, oh, we ain't fucking with y'all. So they
- 20:27Speaker 1: went to Europe and they came back with our cousins
- 20:29Speaker 1: from Germany that looked like us, and we invited them
- 20:31Speaker 1: in because that's just the people we are, and we
- 20:34Speaker 1: got infiltrated. We lost the war several times. Right, But
- 20:38Speaker 1: that's neither hand nor Dan. But the controversy with jay
- 20:41Speaker 1: Z again this is stop the cap Do we really
- 20:46Speaker 1: hate the system or we just hate our position in
- 20:50Speaker 1: the system. I mean, since everybody hates capitalism, I want
- 20:54Speaker 1: to talk about what's the alternatives to capitalism. So let's
- 20:57Speaker 1: start with the definition first of what capitalists and is
- 21:02Speaker 1: individuals owned businesses supposedly allegedly right, competition drives business people
- 21:10Speaker 1: can become very wealthy. You can also become very poor.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You might you start a business and it doesn't do
- 21:16Speaker 1: it as successful as you would like it to. And
- 21:18Speaker 1: then I mean that is you have the opportunity to
- 21:20Speaker 1: grow something. Yeah, market forces largely determined prices, right, so
- 21:27Speaker 1: supply demand, the people want the thing, we can give it. Yes,
- 21:31Speaker 1: perfect example, Pinky, what's the burger place that she had,
- 21:38Speaker 1: Floody Vegan. Yeah, So like she's all in the news
- 21:42Speaker 1: right now because her to the naked eye and to
- 21:45Speaker 1: people who don't know business and in the broadest term
- 21:49Speaker 1: possible records. I'm not trying to say people just stupid
- 21:51Speaker 1: and don't know things, but her filing bankruptcy. Business businesses
- 21:56Speaker 1: do that ship all the time, so they don't have
- 21:58Speaker 1: to pay that corporation do Actually, we had a whole
- 22:01Speaker 1: big bailout of banks and mortgage companies and all that shit.
- 22:05Speaker 1: This is one one black woman, a small business. With
- 22:07Speaker 1: the way other black people are trying to tear her
- 22:10Speaker 1: down as if she wasn't successful she was.
- 22:13Speaker 2: What about Uncle Nears the ship that's going on with them?
- 22:18Speaker 1: You know, I started following that sum To me, it's
- 22:21Speaker 1: a blend of bad business decisions, greed, yes, and then
- 22:29Speaker 1: now you're trying to get the community to also then
- 22:31Speaker 1: buy in to this thing also, So I need to
- 22:35Speaker 1: see I need to see your portfolio, I need to
- 22:36Speaker 1: see your financial statements. I need to see your fucking
- 22:39Speaker 1: bottom line because you got a million dollar loans hair
- 22:42Speaker 1: all type of shit going on.
- 22:43Speaker 2: But from what I understand, the couple you know that
- 22:48Speaker 2: actually started Uncle Nerss basically got fucked over by their
- 22:52Speaker 2: financial advisor.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and who the financial advisor usually is attorney attorney
- 23:01Speaker 1: usually what Ganye West said, why we on own none
- 23:03Speaker 1: of y'all shit, But they will bamboozle you out of
- 23:06Speaker 1: your business if you're not careful. And I think that
- 23:09Speaker 1: that's another problem. Right, It's just so many things.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It's so many things, and it just feels like we're
- 23:16Speaker 2: always behind enemy lines.
- 23:19Speaker 1: But even when dealing with each other, I can say,
- 23:22Speaker 1: doing business sometimes with black people is very challenging, right,
- 23:27Speaker 1: you know, getting people to do things on time is
- 23:31Speaker 1: like one of my you know what I'm saying. And
- 23:33Speaker 1: I don't know if it's because maybe we have a
- 23:34Speaker 1: higher expectation from black people, because I mean, other people
- 23:39Speaker 1: be doing on the same bullshit sometimes, but sometimes the
- 23:41Speaker 1: professionalism is just not there with certain things. And it's
- 23:45Speaker 1: almost like black people make you feel like they're doing
- 23:47Speaker 1: you a fucking favor. I'm paying you even with this podcast,
- 23:51Speaker 1: like finding people to show up on time, Like I
- 23:54Speaker 1: think we've had some really great, great, luckily right photographers,
- 23:58Speaker 1: but like to do all the other things, it's hard.
- 24:01Speaker 1: It's hard to find good help, paid help at that.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Even when you're paying, it's still hard.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Yeah. So okay, So that's a capitalism the definition of
- 24:11Speaker 1: socialism because I mean I think that maybe the last
- 24:14Speaker 1: couple of elections it really was capitalism versus socialism. You
- 24:17Speaker 1: had Bertie Sanders versus whoever else, and to me, he
- 24:20Speaker 1: was more so for socialism. Everybody get a house, a car,
- 24:24Speaker 1: a job, and twenty dollars. I don't want that. So
- 24:27Speaker 1: the definition is private businesses usually exists, but government plays
- 24:31Speaker 1: a larger role.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Is there any way we could like blend the two.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Is it not possible to like have a way that
- 24:38Speaker 2: because everybody does deserve a house, Like it shouldn't be
- 24:41Speaker 2: like because all right, right now in the United States,
- 24:44Speaker 2: the wealth gap is just growing and growing. People are
- 24:47Speaker 2: getting richer, any people are getting poor, and then now
- 24:50Speaker 2: as they're playing monopoly with the housing market, they're buying
- 24:53Speaker 2: up all the houses, all the land, and it's making
- 24:55Speaker 2: it impossible for this.
- 24:56Speaker 1: It's really like Monopoly. Yeah, do we have an episode
- 24:59Speaker 1: or that Monopoly game? No, I feel like we did.
- 25:03Speaker 2: We don't have so many now.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that shit was based on like the monopoly gaff
- 25:06Speaker 1: but got the woman who created it and then who
- 25:08Speaker 1: was purchased by. But it is based on capitalism for sure.
- 25:14Speaker 2: And now you know, the average American can't buy a.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Home absolutely like where the area I live in in Charleston,
- 25:19Speaker 1: West actually, like the average house right now is five
- 25:22Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars, So imagine the twenty percent down payment
- 25:26Speaker 1: on that night of Granted you can still get like
- 25:27Speaker 1: a first time homeowner's little deal or whatever, but it's
- 25:31Speaker 1: still much harder than just twenty twenty five, twenty twenty
- 25:34Speaker 1: four two.
- 25:35Speaker 2: At nineteen eighty, when your mama was buying.
- 25:38Speaker 1: House fifty thousand. Yeah, my mama house is fifty thousand
- 25:41Speaker 1: dollars and now today is worth five hundred and something thousand.
- 25:45Speaker 1: So home ownership is definitely the way to financial freedom,
- 25:51Speaker 1: and I think that is why they are trying to
- 25:53Speaker 1: take away. They do not want us owning anything.
- 25:57Speaker 2: They want us to continuously pay. And that just brings
- 26:00Speaker 2: me to my you know, the conversation about techno feudalism,
- 26:05Speaker 2: and like Charlamayn had me down a rabbit hole, like
- 26:08Speaker 2: deep in a rabbit hole about like how you're Elon
- 26:12Speaker 2: Musk and you're Jeff Bezos and people of that nature.
- 26:16Speaker 2: They really running shit.
- 26:18Speaker 1: But we even though they don't just what could we do?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Don't buy into it. We always have. How how do
- 26:24Speaker 1: you not you don't have to purchase a tesla? I
- 26:27Speaker 1: remember in elementary school. Now granted, in elementary they said
- 26:31Speaker 1: that we would have electric cars by the time we
- 26:33Speaker 1: got old enough to drive. They replaced it with a
- 26:35Speaker 1: fucking hummer and then we were paying how much for
- 26:38Speaker 1: gas and stuff like that. Now I'm not saying that
- 26:41Speaker 1: electric cars shouldn't exist, but they were trying to pass
- 26:43Speaker 1: a mandate to where it's only electric cars. Imagine how
- 26:46Speaker 1: much more power that would give Elon Musk. The government
- 26:49Speaker 1: pushed against that right, so we that doesn't even make sense.
- 26:52Speaker 1: When you have a zombie apocalypse. My car can only
- 26:55Speaker 1: go four hundred miles, I gotta stop and plug it
- 26:56Speaker 1: up the fuck. No, I need a gas car.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I don't want to like driving the iPhone to me.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I just don't.
- 27:04Speaker 1: And that movie leave the world behind. How all the
- 27:07Speaker 1: teslas started driving themselves and piling up on the interstates
- 27:09Speaker 1: so people couldn't get out of their towns. I believe
- 27:12Speaker 1: that could happen. So no, I don't want know all
- 27:15Speaker 1: electric car. But we bought into these ideas.
- 27:17Speaker 2: But just like Elon Muss, it's all these platforms that
- 27:22Speaker 2: you're like using them, and like jay Z, let's take
- 27:27Speaker 2: it back to jay Z. He like if he wanted
- 27:30Speaker 2: to advance, sell his where he gonna sell it?
- 27:33Speaker 1: Exactly. Ain't no black mama, pops. We don't have a
- 27:36Speaker 1: black Target. There's not a black Walmart.
- 27:38Speaker 2: There's nowhere to do it.
- 27:39Speaker 1: And I've said this before about the the the boycott
- 27:43Speaker 1: of Target, same thing with the NFL with Colin Kaepernick.
- 27:46Speaker 1: There are other black football players, there are black people
- 27:49Speaker 1: that work at Target. Black black people are still employed
- 27:52Speaker 1: by Target. The reason why people started boycotting Target is
- 27:55Speaker 1: because the DEI stuff, which if you actually go look
- 27:58Speaker 1: into what DEI was, it wasn't benefit in your black ass,
- 28:02Speaker 1: so exactly, and gay so now you we we without
- 28:07Speaker 1: knowing about these things. Where boycotting when this this thing right?
- 28:12Speaker 1: How can we exist in this system without these things?
- 28:17Speaker 1: During COVID, the only stories that was open was Walmart.
- 28:19Speaker 1: They closing all the botmom pops you can't open, but
- 28:22Speaker 1: all the big corporations got to stay open. And if
- 28:24Speaker 1: you go look at these people financial statements, just go
- 28:26Speaker 1: to Yahoo, y'allho money, They're all yeah, Y'ALLHO finds. They're
- 28:31Speaker 1: all owned by the same top three companies, JP, Morgan, Shades, Vanguard,
- 28:36Speaker 1: and black Rock. So even if you don't shot up
- 28:38Speaker 1: at one, you're still supporting, Yeah, the big the machine,
- 28:44Speaker 1: you still supporting. And it's all run by these big oligarchies,
- 28:48Speaker 1: like these big ass fucking families. There's no way around
- 28:51Speaker 1: it unless you want to overthrow the whole system. But
- 28:53Speaker 1: I just don't think today's humans are capable of governing themselves,
- 28:59Speaker 1: because that's we would have to be.
- 29:01Speaker 2: In order to do that, we would have to all
- 29:04Speaker 2: of us would have to sacrifice in a way that
- 29:06Speaker 2: might not we might not even be able to survive,
- 29:09Speaker 2: you know, literally. So it's just like, well, I.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Mean, I could I have went without and I think
- 29:14Speaker 1: that you know, COVID. A lot of people they it
- 29:18Speaker 1: was a shock to them. They were afraid to lose
- 29:20Speaker 1: their jobs. So you allow man. You put your trust
- 29:23Speaker 1: in man and got the shot and all that shit
- 29:25Speaker 1: instead of trusting in God.
- 29:26Speaker 2: If you did you go without because you kept with
- 29:29Speaker 2: on the whole time.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah, because I stalk up on weve. You know how
- 29:32Speaker 1: many closures I got at home now? And bitch, every
- 29:35Speaker 1: time I get my closures from China and my hair
- 29:38Speaker 1: from India, but I'd be buying shit and bulk just
- 29:41Speaker 1: in case because now in the terriffs now everybody's went
- 29:43Speaker 1: up on prices. But bitch, I got about twenty wigs
- 29:46Speaker 1: worth of closures right now, and I can reuse my button.
- 29:50Speaker 2: But what were your sacrifice? Because you never look bad?
- 29:53Speaker 1: They like, But I do my own maintenance. You know
- 29:57Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I don't. I don't depend on like
- 29:58Speaker 1: nail shops and all that shit, like I never. I
- 30:01Speaker 1: do live a real like a minimallest sort of life
- 30:05Speaker 1: are real. And when I'm talking about just like steady income,
- 30:09Speaker 1: that's a sacrifice. Like people who are afraid to not
- 30:11Speaker 1: have steady income, so they sacrifice their lives essentially for
- 30:15Speaker 1: it because we don't know what this thing that they
- 30:17Speaker 1: did to us a few years ago.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Two sets of little eyes looking up at you every day,
- 30:23Speaker 2: requiring you to God.
- 30:25Speaker 1: You know, this is why I'd be saying, I get quiet.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I've been more like, aside from this podcast, I be
- 30:30Speaker 1: quiet a lot because you can't hear God when it's
- 30:33Speaker 1: a lot of noise, so you gotta be quiet and listen.
- 30:37Speaker 1: And I think that that stop putting your faith in man.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Like we are so upset collectively at jay Z for
- 30:46Speaker 1: having me either, I said collectively, right, so you know
- 30:49Speaker 1: that's not everybody, but the collective is feeling some type
- 30:53Speaker 1: of way about jay Z. But to me, it's an inspiration,
- 30:56Speaker 1: right because the more resources I get that means I
- 30:59Speaker 1: have helped people with nothing. I mean, I don't got shit,
- 31:02Speaker 1: and I'm giving person somebody piece of the shit that
- 31:04Speaker 1: I don't got. So imagine if I did have access
- 31:07Speaker 1: to the resources to help my community. Now, I think
- 31:09Speaker 1: what black people always want to see is somebody out loud.
- 31:13Speaker 1: You know, everything on the internet, and jay Z is
- 31:15Speaker 1: pretty private him and Beyonce, but he does a lot. Yep,
- 31:18Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, right, so now they are they
- 31:22Speaker 1: He's like the face of capitalism for black people, right.
- 31:25Speaker 1: But again that everybody has an opportunity to be a
- 31:28Speaker 1: jay z. We bought into the idea of jay Z.
- 31:31Speaker 1: We put him up there for whatever reason. Black people,
- 31:34Speaker 1: they want to humble you and bring you back to
- 31:37Speaker 1: the level at some point, like why why you know,
- 31:41Speaker 1: make another billionaire another everybody should be. I always use
- 31:45Speaker 1: Chlama because he's the best example, and I think he
- 31:47Speaker 1: might be a billionaire at some point in our lifetime
- 31:50Speaker 1: for real. But I know he employs a lot of
- 31:52Speaker 1: black people. I know it's specifically black women, right because
- 31:57Speaker 1: if you want a good nation, you got you gotta
- 32:00Speaker 1: lift the women for sure. So that is more so
- 32:03Speaker 1: how I judge a person. What are you doing with this.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Running your mouth on the internet?
- 32:10Speaker 1: Right? Yeah, because just like I saw a little Duval
- 32:13Speaker 1: and we know low Duval does a lot of a
- 32:15Speaker 1: lot in the community, and he probably publicized a lot
- 32:17Speaker 1: of it, like it's Duval Day. A major economy generator
- 32:21Speaker 1: for Jacksonville. Okay, he does that annually and the shit
- 32:25Speaker 1: is lit. He has a bunch of vendors out there, people,
- 32:28Speaker 1: you know, people spending money buying shit like he's generating
- 32:32Speaker 1: a lot of money for the economy every year and
- 32:37Speaker 1: he publicizes it. But then people still acting like you're
- 32:40Speaker 1: not doing enough. But what are you doing every day
- 32:42Speaker 1: regular person at home who works, What are you doing?
- 32:45Speaker 1: Because you can still do something too, right, That's what.
- 32:47Speaker 2: I'm saying besides talking shit.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, because all y'all doing is hating on the millionaires.
- 32:52Speaker 1: And I like to listen to Reverend Ike, and Reverend
- 32:55Speaker 1: Ike said, if you curse the rich, you'll never be one.
- 33:00Speaker 1: So everybody's aspiring to acquire these resources. Why are you
- 33:04Speaker 1: hating when somebody actually does what extra do you think
- 33:09Speaker 1: he should do?
- 33:10Speaker 2: But I agree with you, but I do feel like
- 33:12Speaker 2: people were because people were trying to come together to
- 33:17Speaker 2: protect black rights. That was what they thought they were doing,
- 33:20Speaker 2: you know, he thought, you know, because you know, if
- 33:24Speaker 2: you look at it, we wasn't even benefiting necessarily from
- 33:27Speaker 2: the DM.
- 33:28Speaker 1: When did the boycotts start? And when did it finished?
- 33:30Speaker 1: Is it ongoing right now? I just left Target. I
- 33:33Speaker 1: went and got me some satin spray from my makeup.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Listen, that's the thing. We are not organized or unified
- 33:39Speaker 2: because no who fucking.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Else they lost a lot of money though Target, Target
- 33:43Speaker 1: was her They did.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Take an L. They took a huge L.
- 33:46Speaker 1: And there are black people can still work there. No
- 33:50Speaker 1: black person stopped working at Target.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Because they're supposed to do.
- 33:53Speaker 1: You know, if de EI was a real thing and
- 33:56Speaker 1: was actually affecting, why are the black people still working
- 33:58Speaker 1: at Target? They like based on that, Yeah, they would
- 34:02Speaker 1: not have been even getting hired.
- 34:04Speaker 2: But what I'm thinking is it is it like corporate
- 34:08Speaker 2: level yes, positions, Yes they're talking about yes, not necessarily
- 34:12Speaker 2: the cashier and.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Then yes, so yes, now that is where and I
- 34:17Speaker 1: can attest to that shit, you know what I'm saying. Like,
- 34:19Speaker 1: just last week we had the whole episode about Workday,
- 34:23Speaker 1: or not a whole episode, but and sins. We talked
- 34:27Speaker 1: about Workday and how it was systematically throwing out applications
- 34:32Speaker 1: based on race, age, sex and all that shit. Right,
- 34:36Speaker 1: if you put in there we need twenty white people
- 34:38Speaker 1: and know black like, you could actually program the thing
- 34:42Speaker 1: to do that. So, yes, there are those things exist,
- 34:46Speaker 1: those things that those those mechanisms just getting easier to
- 34:49Speaker 1: discriminate secretly, covertly. But this shit ain't new, you know
- 34:54Speaker 1: what I'm saying, It's not new and that is why
- 34:56Speaker 1: we need to create even more. We cannot playing about
- 35:00Speaker 1: jay Z having his thirtieth year album, thirty year album, right,
- 35:03Speaker 1: thirty year and target when we don't have a target
- 35:07Speaker 1: like place.
- 35:08Speaker 2: In it to sell it.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Was he supposed to open the store for you niggas
- 35:12Speaker 1: to be happy like I just be wanting to know,
- 35:14Speaker 1: like we didn't get through the definitions of socialism socialism
- 35:21Speaker 1: private businesses usually exists, but government plays a larger role
- 35:24Speaker 1: and provides broader public services. Competition exists, but is balanced
- 35:29Speaker 1: with stronger social programs. Wealth differences are generally reduced through
- 35:34Speaker 1: taxes and public benefits. Markets often operate alongside government regulation,
- 35:40Speaker 1: so socialism sounds like a look a combination kind of communism.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Major industries and resources are collectively or state owned. Production
- 35:51Speaker 1: is directed correct excuse me, Production is directed collectively or
- 35:56Speaker 1: the state rather than excuse me, or by the state,
- 35:59Speaker 1: rather than through market competition. The goal is to greatly
- 36:03Speaker 1: reduce or eliminate large wealth differences. The government or central
- 36:08Speaker 1: planners often determine production and pricing. The problem with that
- 36:13Speaker 1: is that you still always end up on all of
- 36:15Speaker 1: these the cons for all of these that one percent
- 36:18Speaker 1: at the top. Who's actually controlling shit US as corporations? Right,
- 36:22Speaker 1: Socialism might be socialism and communism as families. Oftentimes, I
- 36:26Speaker 1: feel like the whole world ran by a couple of families.
- 36:29Speaker 1: You know, there's a lot of research out there that
- 36:32Speaker 1: suggests that. So we there's the idea that there's these
- 36:35Speaker 1: different types of economies, these different type of governments, and
- 36:40Speaker 1: really it's all the same shit. So there's a false
- 36:44Speaker 1: sense of freedom exactly. So I just want to comfortably
- 36:49Speaker 1: get fucked.
- 36:51Speaker 2: You know, I agree and disagree in ways. But you know,
- 36:57Speaker 2: I was living in the UK, where their healthcare is free.
- 37:02Speaker 2: I'm like, wow, America deserves free healthcare. I was. I
- 37:05Speaker 2: was like, this is excellent.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Get I was like a good, Like they just gave
- 37:13Speaker 1: me like right, like it's enough calories?
- 37:15Speaker 2: Yeah, right, cereal every morning. That's every like, because I
- 37:18Speaker 2: was in the hospital for two weeks and it was
- 37:21Speaker 2: just like whatever not not Rice Criss be treated. It's
- 37:24Speaker 2: just like whatever the fuck that is with some watermilk
- 37:27Speaker 2: on it. I was like, oh this shit feel free.
- 37:30Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Like if tomorrow, right, you woke
- 37:35Speaker 1: up and everybody in America made exactly one hundred thousand
- 37:38Speaker 1: dollars a year they didn't earn it. Does everybody get
- 37:42Speaker 1: the same money? Even if you were a fucking doctor?
- 37:46Speaker 1: How would you feel about that? Because that is what
- 37:50Speaker 1: socialism is essentially house car job twenty dollars.
- 37:57Speaker 2: I don't hate it and I don't love it at
- 37:59Speaker 2: the same time because the reason why, I just feel
- 38:03Speaker 2: like they hate us. I don't even know if they
- 38:05Speaker 2: really hate us. They just need a bottom, you know.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yeah, because that's how capitalism, that's the problem.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Where they lie. Where do they fall in this hierarchy
- 38:14Speaker 2: of things? And if they put us at the bottom,
- 38:16Speaker 2: they can make sure they can figure out where they fall.
- 38:18Speaker 2: So I do understand. I like it in a way
- 38:21Speaker 2: that how do you determine at the bottom? If we're
- 38:24Speaker 2: all equal, you know, then you can't put us at
- 38:27Speaker 2: the bottom, if we're the same. So I can respect
- 38:29Speaker 2: that sentiment, But then there's nowhere to grow. How do
- 38:34Speaker 2: you grow?
- 38:40Speaker 1: Are we being I'm talking about today? Right, we understand
- 38:44Speaker 1: what happened in the past, But today are we being
- 38:48Speaker 1: put at the bottom? Are we choosing to be at
- 38:50Speaker 1: the bottom? Through our through our daily the things that
- 38:55Speaker 1: you know, we we find important? Right, just through our
- 39:01Speaker 1: daily living.
- 39:03Speaker 2: I don't think we are choosing it. I don't think
- 39:05Speaker 2: we're choosing it. I think all these systems are set
- 39:08Speaker 2: up for us to be at the bottom. They're even
- 39:11Speaker 2: preparing the future for this. They're taking books out of schools,
- 39:16Speaker 2: they're taking things that represent us. They taking the heroes,
- 39:20Speaker 2: the black heroes, out of the archives, just completely erasing
- 39:24Speaker 2: these people from the stories so we don't know about them,
- 39:27Speaker 2: so we can forget our greatness because they want us
- 39:30Speaker 2: to be at the bottom.
- 39:31Speaker 1: And it's always been our responsibility right as a people,
- 39:34Speaker 1: as a culture, to make sure that all people know
- 39:37Speaker 1: what time it is. I have multiple flask drives with
- 39:40Speaker 1: thousands of books on them. During COVID. If you go
- 39:43Speaker 1: to it's like I forgot to nate the websites and
- 39:46Speaker 1: any of the websites where you can go download book PDFs.
- 39:50Speaker 1: If you go to them now, they all got a
- 39:51Speaker 1: government fucking label on it, Like you can't there's the
- 39:56Speaker 1: websites are no longer accessible. But I spent COVID now
- 40:00Speaker 1: unloading shit. You remember the lady who was recording the
- 40:02Speaker 1: news and shit like that. You gotta think ahead because
- 40:05Speaker 1: these people have always been trying to do shit to
- 40:08Speaker 1: fucking trip us up. My kid's gonna know what time
- 40:10Speaker 1: it is, my kid, right right?
- 40:13Speaker 2: But your kid? But what about all the kids?
- 40:15Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. We be focusing on the wrong
- 40:17Speaker 1: shit spending, like all the entertainment, like if everybody had
- 40:21Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say if everybody had my mind because
- 40:23Speaker 1: I sound crazy to a lot of people who just
- 40:26Speaker 1: but this is what's necessary, you see what I'm saying,
- 40:29Speaker 1: And this is why I want to have this platform
- 40:31Speaker 1: to put them plant those thoughts, because that you need
- 40:34Speaker 1: more people talking like that. You need more people to
- 40:37Speaker 1: make people think a little bit differently.
- 40:39Speaker 2: There's this a documentary that came out I think it's
- 40:41Speaker 2: yes out already, and it's called The Librarian, and it's
- 40:45Speaker 2: about they locking up the librarians for trying to keep
- 40:49Speaker 2: the books in the library. Can you imagine that in
- 40:52Speaker 2: the United States? Dates locking up the suite librarian. I
- 40:58Speaker 2: see that lady, the old black lady.
- 41:00Speaker 1: What's it called the Librarian? It's a documentary.
- 41:02Speaker 2: It's a documentary right now because they want the books,
- 41:05Speaker 2: because they want the fucking books and the libraries I'm
- 41:07Speaker 2: not taking off the shelf, and.
- 41:09Speaker 1: They locking these bitches up.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Yeah, because man, it's crazy.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Anytime I go to like I like to go to
- 41:18Speaker 1: like it's State sales and stuff like that, and I'm
- 41:20Speaker 1: always looking for old ass books. I got an old
- 41:22Speaker 1: ass book on motherfucking on the Holocaust like books oftentimes
- 41:29Speaker 1: the truth, these old ass books, the truth be in
- 41:31Speaker 1: there right now with AI people. Depending on chat Ebt,
- 41:35Speaker 1: they get to put whatever narrative they want to, let
- 41:37Speaker 1: people take it as as gable. Yes, and it's just not.
- 41:41Speaker 1: It's still a man behind that bullshit.
- 41:43Speaker 2: I just want to make sure that I'm I'm quoting
- 41:45Speaker 2: that right because what the librarian what it's called. Yeah,
- 41:48Speaker 2: because I don't want to be telling y'all something. Y'all
- 41:50Speaker 2: go looking it up.
- 41:53Speaker 1: He was talking about.
- 41:55Speaker 2: It's called.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Oh, but when you were saying the librarians, when you
- 42:00Speaker 1: were talking about us being at the bottom. For capitalism
- 42:03Speaker 1: to work, there has to be consumers. And the truth
- 42:05Speaker 1: is black people are the number one consumers black women
- 42:08Speaker 1: women's period, but black women in particular are the number
- 42:12Speaker 1: one consumers in America. Yes, in this capitalistic society, black
- 42:17Speaker 1: people consume the most Black women consume even more. Right,
- 42:22Speaker 1: we have to change our spending habits and what we
- 42:24Speaker 1: spend money on that that has nothing to do with
- 42:27Speaker 1: anybody else. Even if they market this stuff does we
- 42:30Speaker 1: don't have to purchase it. We don't have to engage,
- 42:33Speaker 1: but we do because we like things. We like stuff.
- 42:36Speaker 1: We like shiny shit because that's just always that's where
- 42:38Speaker 1: we come from. Yeah, so they know how to fuck
- 42:42Speaker 1: with us. They know how to market to us and
- 42:45Speaker 1: any if you're interested. Tavistock Institute. It's a whole built
- 42:51Speaker 1: item people, a whole program on how to market to
- 42:55Speaker 1: the Negro, not just us, but yeah, how to market
- 42:58Speaker 1: to us. We like flash she shiit. We like ship,
- 43:01Speaker 1: we like big ship, like they know how to get it.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Makes me think about the clone Tyrone.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Yes, I can't believe they even allowed they clone Tyrone
- 43:11Speaker 1: on TV. And I couldn't not when I saw the
- 43:14Speaker 1: preview for that ship, I'm like, oh, I can't wait.
- 43:17Speaker 1: It's so much disclosure and they cloned Tyrone. That people
- 43:20Speaker 1: just straight up I think a lot of people they
- 43:23Speaker 1: think it's fiction. Whole summer we was fighting about chicken
- 43:29Speaker 1: sandwiches at Popeyes. That is a real thing that was
- 43:31Speaker 1: happening in order to change our vibration. You gotta change
- 43:35Speaker 1: the music.
- 43:36Speaker 2: People was coming with their own bread because they had
- 43:38Speaker 2: ran out. They was coming to the store with a
- 43:40Speaker 2: bag of bread, like.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Just give me the just give me the chicken.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Break. I was like, this is.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Inan what'sn't that chicken?
- 43:47Speaker 2: The picture with viral?
- 43:48Speaker 1: She was working break.
- 43:51Speaker 2: I was like, what the fuck is happening?
- 43:54Speaker 1: And you know, I be and that's why I be
- 43:56Speaker 1: quiet and listen to God, and I'm thankful for my diet.
- 43:58Speaker 1: And I have to go through that chicken. I don't
- 44:02Speaker 1: know what the fucking don't give a god damn with
- 44:04Speaker 1: that chick.
- 44:06Speaker 2: I didn't get in no fight that deep.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Was it that spectacular?
- 44:09Speaker 2: What it takes you like a chicken sandwich?
- 44:11Speaker 1: You know, imagine niggas was lined up like it had
- 44:15Speaker 1: to be something. It may not be all of them,
- 44:17Speaker 1: just like the COVID shot. It may not have been
- 44:19Speaker 1: like something in all of them. Some of them could
- 44:21Speaker 1: have been a placebo. But there was some ship in
- 44:24Speaker 1: that chicken that made niggas fight in line for it
- 44:27Speaker 1: and and lines out to the street for it. And
- 44:30Speaker 1: nobody thought that is heavily like social engineering. They told
- 44:34Speaker 1: you to go get that chicken and if they can
- 44:35Speaker 1: do that, they could do anything to us. Put it
- 44:39Speaker 1: in a chicken sandwich advertisements.
- 44:43Speaker 2: You can mention some ship and then all of a
- 44:46Speaker 2: sudden you just keep seeing the deep seeing.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Because when we when you download any app, they're asking
- 44:52Speaker 1: you for controls, right, they want to control to you.
- 44:54Speaker 1: They want controls for your mic, the camera location. You
- 44:57Speaker 1: don't have to enable those things, but we just be
- 44:58Speaker 1: clicking acknowledged and go on bitch. I literally this is
- 45:02Speaker 1: what I used chat GPT for. I will copy and
- 45:04Speaker 1: paste out whole shit and act shatgypt to pull out
- 45:08Speaker 1: the most important details of it. If you don't want
- 45:12Speaker 1: to read the whole thing, that's a good way to
- 45:15Speaker 1: use shat GPT to make sure you're not signed up
- 45:17Speaker 1: for bullshit. I seen an episode on episode I saw
- 45:20Speaker 1: a post on Instagram one day where this guy he
- 45:23Speaker 1: got into a car accident and it was some weird shit.
- 45:27Speaker 1: It was a car accident, he got into some shit
- 45:29Speaker 1: in the store slip and fall. It was something weird
- 45:32Speaker 1: and it wasn't a Netflix disclaimer or some TV disclaimer
- 45:36Speaker 1: where he opted out of That's like, imagine that some
- 45:41Speaker 1: shit that came up on your TV is now affecting
- 45:43Speaker 1: a lawsuit by some shit that don't have nothing to
- 45:45Speaker 1: do with TV because you don't know what the fuck
- 45:47Speaker 1: you're signing or what you're clicking on.
- 45:49Speaker 2: That's like that episode of Black Mirror Joan is awful,
- 45:54Speaker 2: and it was like you click to like watch this
- 45:57Speaker 2: platform like Netflix. It was essentially and basically, by agreeing
- 46:03Speaker 2: to the user agreement, you agree to be filmed and
- 46:06Speaker 2: they could use your life for the story.
- 46:08Speaker 1: That is what they've done with AI. They have been
- 46:10Speaker 1: using our voices, our likeness, all this shit like Nnigali's
- 46:15Speaker 1: AI artists. I suggest, highly suggest black people to not
- 46:19Speaker 1: don't don't send me no AI artists. I got friends
- 46:21Speaker 1: who we swap music all the time. Bitch, if I
- 46:24Speaker 1: go on, if I go on Apple Music and your music.
- 46:28Speaker 1: This song just came out in twenty twenty six. There's
- 46:30Speaker 1: no other songs by this artist, and there are no album.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I know it's an AI artist.
- 46:35Speaker 2: You go to news. What about a new artist.
- 46:37Speaker 1: People, There's no such thing as a first song going viral.
- 46:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. The song went viral on TikTok
- 46:44Speaker 1: while I'm even being scented, right, and then I go
- 46:47Speaker 1: on Apple Music, and this person has no other content,
- 46:50Speaker 1: and you go onto Instagram and just look like fake
- 46:53Speaker 1: ass people. They are manufacturing soul, so now they're even
- 46:58Speaker 1: trying to write us out of our own shit. They
- 47:01Speaker 1: don't need us to even be the artists anymore. If
- 47:04Speaker 1: I can create, I can recreate what souls.
- 47:10Speaker 2: It's getting scary.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Outside stay inside. I mean, I'm never scared of this shit.
- 47:15Speaker 1: It is just it's just more so like I just
- 47:18Speaker 1: like to be aware of stuff. I don't like let
- 47:19Speaker 1: it put me in like a cuckoon, Like I'm not
- 47:22Speaker 1: going outdoors anymore. It's just I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
- 47:25Speaker 1: And now I just like to be aware so I
- 47:27Speaker 1: can make the right consciousness. I can make informed decisions.
- 47:31Speaker 1: That's what I like to be aware of. I don't
- 47:35Speaker 1: know what the fuck's got to do with the jay
- 47:36Speaker 1: Z shit. I just feel like I just I want
- 47:38Speaker 1: black people to do absolutely nothing. But I just want
- 47:41Speaker 1: black people to do like well right, And I just
- 47:45Speaker 1: want a black millionaire or black billionaire to be the norm.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Now me personally, I don't know too many people that
- 47:51Speaker 1: can actually get to that level of that financial without
- 47:55Speaker 1: having shitted on a lot of people in the path.
- 47:58Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, are stepped on a few people.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I feel like most people who do make it that far,
- 48:04Speaker 2: not all, but most had to leave a lot.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Of ruin behind. Yeah, I think the only I mean
- 48:13Speaker 1: for me, I don't.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Even think anybody necessarily needs to be a billionaire.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just to me, it is why do you
- 48:19Speaker 1: need that much money if you're not putting in it.
- 48:22Speaker 1: That's why people have this expectation from billionaires, like, we've
- 48:27Speaker 1: got you to this level, right, what are you now
- 48:31Speaker 1: going to do for us? What are you doing? What
- 48:32Speaker 1: are you putting back in the community. Did he revamp
- 48:35Speaker 1: Marci projects?
- 48:36Speaker 2: Well, some billionaires would would argue that they did that
- 48:40Speaker 2: shit themselves, that they were not helped.
- 48:43Speaker 1: No, it's impossible. The concert. Imagine if nobody showed up
- 48:47Speaker 1: at this concert that he, you know, spent millions to plan,
- 48:50Speaker 1: and nobody bought a ticket. Yeah, right, So they depend
- 48:53Speaker 1: on the consumer right to consume their idea so that
- 48:58Speaker 1: they can even you know, come this thing. And to me,
- 49:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say I'm a capitalist. I might be
- 49:03Speaker 1: a little blend of all. I do feel like there
- 49:05Speaker 1: has to be social programs to help people who because
- 49:08Speaker 1: everybody don't have to wherewithal You know what, everybody is
- 49:12Speaker 1: not a CEO, everybody's not a business owner. You have
- 49:15Speaker 1: to have workers, right, You have to have people that
- 49:17Speaker 1: do the low bottom tier type jobs also, right. But
- 49:21Speaker 1: at least we live in a in an economy where
- 49:24Speaker 1: if you tomorrow wake up and say I want to
- 49:27Speaker 1: do fucking better, you got the opportunity to do so.
- 49:29Speaker 1: It's not a government regulating how much money you can
- 49:33Speaker 1: make and capping your shit. And it's just a few
- 49:35Speaker 1: families that own the companies. That's you know that I'm saying.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Now, see here, there are all systems in place to
- 49:43Speaker 2: keep you there's like shit that's hidden in play building.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta see the things, right, But I still
- 49:50Speaker 1: feel like just the way the way Black people's soul
- 49:53Speaker 1: and energy is like we just have always been able
- 49:55Speaker 1: to maneuver through the fucking bullshit, Like we always find
- 49:59Speaker 1: a way to slip. You're like, kill us exactly, Like,
- 50:03Speaker 1: so why are we even worrying about what they're doing.
- 50:05Speaker 1: We be up chilling and it's a whole machine trying
- 50:08Speaker 1: to fuck niggas up, and we still be thriving regardless
- 50:11Speaker 1: of what we're gonna overcome every time, every time, right,
- 50:15Speaker 1: And this is why they're coming out with more creative ways,
- 50:17Speaker 1: Like what the fuck? What's the bug ship? That's not
- 50:19Speaker 1: not a new parasite? I got right now with the
- 50:23Speaker 1: whole foods.
- 50:24Speaker 2: You know, I had a salad over the whole time
- 50:31Speaker 2: we've been here.
- 50:31Speaker 1: You know, Niggas is on the Niggas is on the
- 50:34Speaker 1: South soop bitter tick and uh no berries. Yes, and
- 50:41Speaker 1: now that y'all, y'all fucking with the whole foods because
- 50:45Speaker 1: we're not fucking with this food no more, because we
- 50:47Speaker 1: know what it is when it ain't. America always been
- 50:50Speaker 1: a project, though everything here is not like a lot
- 50:53Speaker 1: of things. That's a lot in America and our products
- 50:55Speaker 1: and our food, it's not a lot in other countries.
- 50:57Speaker 1: I don't know what type economy that's called.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Would like a new meat?
- 51:01Speaker 1: Shut up? Wouldn't be meat?
- 51:06Speaker 2: Why wouldn't it? It would aliens brought some new meat?
- 51:10Speaker 1: What what the new meat be? An alien? It would
- 51:13Speaker 1: be you have some of that alien.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Zebra and deer mix together. I just want something different.
- 51:21Speaker 1: We are herbivores. That's why we got these flat ass teeth.
- 51:24Speaker 1: We ain't even supposed to.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Be tearing the meat and ship on the corners barely.
- 51:29Speaker 1: You think you gotta you don't got no fang my
- 51:31Speaker 1: dentists and he drolled in one of mine down and
- 51:34Speaker 1: yours flat to your fangs flat dogs, got a lot
- 51:38Speaker 1: of sharp teeth, not just the fangs. So we're supposed
- 51:41Speaker 1: to be eating mostly fucking.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Vegetable fruits and vegetables and making this ship up.
- 51:47Speaker 1: I mean that's a I mean, it's not a bad
- 51:48Speaker 1: I need to shut more.
- 51:52Speaker 2: What's your last last? Because we going off on the
- 51:55Speaker 2: tagent and talking about my.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Last last is don't be a hater? Stop the cap. Okay,
- 52:03Speaker 1: we all have pull your bootstraps up now. I don't
- 52:07Speaker 1: fully believe in that shit because we know the we
- 52:09Speaker 1: know the things, the mechanisms, the machines exist to trip
- 52:12Speaker 1: us up. That's not our focus, though. We focusing on
- 52:15Speaker 1: the focus. Focus on your focus. Mind your motherfucking business.
- 52:20Speaker 1: How about that, mind your business, minding business that pays
- 52:23Speaker 1: you and you know hone in on that tunnel vision,
- 52:26Speaker 1: were taking care of your family and I think everything
- 52:28Speaker 1: else the fall in place.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Am I tripping a little bit?
- 52:38Speaker 1: Mind your motherfucking business?
- 52:39Speaker 2: Like literally, because I agree with mind your business, but
- 52:43Speaker 2: I also feel like we're all each other's businesses. Black people,
- 52:45Speaker 2: we got to take care of each other.
- 52:46Speaker 1: We're not a monolith though that's the problem, not in
- 52:48Speaker 1: that way.
- 52:49Speaker 2: But I mean, just love your brother, you know, stop
- 52:53Speaker 2: treating your like when we see someone like you'll be
- 52:58Speaker 2: seeing a nigga getting beat up and they'll just recorded.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Everybody just recorded instead of helping be your brother's keeper
- 53:05Speaker 2: in a way.
- 53:07Speaker 1: No, yeah, I don't mind my business. I don't me neither.
- 53:11Speaker 1: I told you how my neighbor was getting her ass
- 53:13Speaker 1: beat and I knocked on that door like the police.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Did I tell you about that? Oh, let me tell
- 53:17Speaker 1: you about that ship right quick. And my neighbor, she
- 53:19Speaker 1: happened to realize I do a podcast and live across
- 53:21Speaker 1: the across away from her. She might this bitch works
- 53:24Speaker 1: in the office. First of all, she just started working
- 53:26Speaker 1: in when I went to Costa Rica for my birthday,
- 53:28Speaker 1: I came back and somebody was then living across from me.
- 53:31Speaker 1: This apartment was empty for a whole year. Girl, I'm watching, uh,
- 53:36Speaker 1: I think I was watching from in my living room
- 53:38Speaker 1: and I'm in the thumping moving around. I put my
- 53:41Speaker 1: air to the because the walls are kind of thin.
- 53:43Speaker 1: I put my ear stop leave me alone, like she's
- 53:46Speaker 1: saying this shit. So I immediate, immediately go get my
- 53:48Speaker 1: pistol because in my mind, y'all gonna shoot through the
- 53:51Speaker 1: wall if something or that. I just need to be prepared.
- 53:53Speaker 1: So then I go stand by my I opened my
- 53:56Speaker 1: door and I stand at the door. So then I
- 53:57Speaker 1: hear her then say, you're you know I'm pregnant. You're
- 54:02Speaker 1: not happy I'm pregnant. Girl. When I heard that ship boom,
- 54:08Speaker 1: I said, cut that ship out right now, I'm calling
