- 0:09Speaker 5: This is the big boss dog, Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.
- 0:11Speaker 6: Bang, boom, what you gonna do?
- 0:13Speaker 7: We're not talking about Ren 10-10.
- 0:16Speaker 3: We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:18Speaker 5: It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:19Speaker 7: The classy, sassy, big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.
- 0:22Speaker 2: In your face to me and in the place to be.
- 0:24Speaker 2: And you're listening to John Jay and Rich. Wake your
- 0:27Speaker 2: ass up. You can call us at 877-937-1047. You can
- 0:30Speaker 2: also text us. Text JJR, whatever you want to talk about,
- 0:35Speaker 2: to 966. eight, nine, three, Nick, our producer in the studio,
- 0:40Speaker 2: you know, young dad. And when you're a young dad, you,
- 0:43Speaker 2: you get volunteered. What do you call it? Kyle, you
- 0:45Speaker 2: called something. You're when you volunteer, I remember you're voluntold.
- 0:48Speaker 2: You're voluntold. That's what you said. You bought your husband
- 0:49Speaker 2: with time. So were you voluntold this or did you
- 0:53Speaker 2: do it on your own?
- 0:54Speaker 8: So I was voluntold that I had the opportunity to, uh,
- 1:00Speaker 8: coach my son's T-ball team. Uh, if there's one sport
- 1:04Speaker 8: that I cannot coach, it's T-ball.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It's baseball. You can't?
- 1:10Speaker 8: No, I am not a baseball player at all.
- 1:13Speaker 2: But you're a baseball fan.
- 1:14Speaker 8: I love baseball, but I just never got the mechanics
- 1:18Speaker 8: of it. Anyway, so another one of our friends was like,
- 1:21Speaker 8: I will be the head coach, but I can't be
- 1:23Speaker 8: here for X week. And I'm like, okay, then I'll
- 1:27Speaker 8: take on the head coaching duties then. And we're like
- 1:32Speaker 8: midway through the season. They're four and five-year-olds, and considering
- 1:35Speaker 8: that fact alone, it's going all right you know like
- 1:39Speaker 8: there's a little chaos but nobody's afraid of the.
- 1:41Speaker 7: Ball everybody's like really willing to play.
- 1:45Speaker 8: We get to the game where i am at home
- 1:48Speaker 8: plate while the kids are batting um and we get
- 1:54Speaker 8: through the one inning and everything's great you know all
- 1:57Speaker 8: the kids get to bat all you know every inning
- 1:58Speaker 8: whatever blah blah so we get to the second inning
- 2:01Speaker 8: and i'm Ready to go.
- 2:03Speaker 2: And I'm feeling good.
- 2:04Speaker 7: I'm like, man, this is something that I didn't think
- 2:06Speaker 7: I was going to be able to do.
- 2:07Speaker 8: I did not think I was going to be able
- 2:09Speaker 8: to rile these kids up and get them motivated and
- 2:11Speaker 8: ready to go. So I'm feeling confident. And I put
- 2:14Speaker 8: the ball in the tee. And I check with the
- 2:17Speaker 8: other team. Hey, are you guys ready to go? And
- 2:21Speaker 8: they're like, yeah. And as they're saying yeah, and in
- 2:24Speaker 8: my peripheral vision, I see the bat being swung. This
- 2:31Speaker 8: little monster... clocked me in my left knee about as
- 2:36Speaker 8: hard as any baseball has ever been hit in the
- 2:41Speaker 8: history of mankind.
- 2:44Speaker 9: No.
- 2:44Speaker 7: And on the air, I can't say the words that
- 2:47Speaker 7: I did say.
- 2:48Speaker 1: In front of the children?
- 2:51Speaker 2: In front of the children, in front of the children's parents.
- 2:54Speaker 7: Like, it was just like, oh, mother.
- 2:57Speaker 10: Wow.
- 2:57Speaker 6: Wow.
- 2:59Speaker 8: And the coach that was at first base was like,
- 3:04Speaker 8: I didn't see it, but I heard it. And then
- 3:08Speaker 8: the coach at third base was like, no, I saw
- 3:12Speaker 8: and I heard it.
- 3:13Speaker 7: He's like, maybe you should go sit down.
- 3:15Speaker 2: We're at a week now, guys.
- 3:19Speaker 7: And my three toes, my small three toes are numb. Ow.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Because I've got apparently some deep bone bruise.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Are you okay?
- 3:28Speaker 7: That goes all the way down?
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah. And so I have retired from coaching. You know
- 3:33Speaker 2: what's funny? If you're limping, hey, Nick, what happened? T-ball accident.
- 3:38Speaker 2: You can't say baseball. You can't say softball. You can't
- 3:42Speaker 2: say T-ball.
- 3:43Speaker 7: Anytime anybody says, like, why are you limping? I have
- 3:46Speaker 7: to tell them. It's a long story. And I just
- 3:49Speaker 7: leave it at that and I walk away.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Lisa, you got a T-ball story?
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yes, I do. And I got to tell you guys,
- 3:58Speaker 3: it is one that gets worse every second. So, okay,
- 4:03Speaker 3: so my nephew's at like this first football game of his. Okay,
- 4:07Speaker 3: super wholesome. Everyone's clapping and out of nowhere he swings.
- 4:11Speaker 3: And he lets go of the bat and then it
- 4:13Speaker 3: like helicopter launches and just stands and hits my boyfriend
- 4:17Speaker 3: straight in the forehead.
- 4:18Speaker 9: Oh, no.
- 4:21Speaker 2: That really had to travel.
- 4:22Speaker 9: It doesn't stop there.
- 4:23Speaker 3: It does not stop there because everyone then rushes over
- 4:28Speaker 3: and the kid starts running the bases like nothing happened.
- 4:32Speaker 3: And then he trips over third, which makes him take
- 4:36Speaker 3: out the coach. And now there are two grown adults
- 4:39Speaker 3: on the ground. And this five-year-old is just standing at
- 4:42Speaker 3: home plate, just flossing.
- 4:44Speaker 7: You know that?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh.
- 4:51Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 4:52Speaker 8: The kids don't think twice about it. They're just like, okay.
- 4:55Speaker 2: They're like, my parents are making me be here.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Lisa, thanks for sharing that story, Lisa. Thanks. Of course.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I remember, and it's so funny sometimes, I have these
- 5:06Speaker 2: memories that pop up because of this radio show. But
- 5:08Speaker 2: I don't know if you guys know, do you guys
- 5:10Speaker 2: ever know, did I ever bring it up that I
- 5:11Speaker 2: coached my son's soccer team? No, I don't remember that.
- 5:14Speaker 2: My son Kemp was on a soccer team and there
- 5:17Speaker 2: was a head coach and I think the wives voluntold me.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And we did it and we bet a team that
- 5:23Speaker 2: we were going to win. And the bet payoff was
- 5:26Speaker 2: the two coaches, me and the other coach, whoever lost
- 5:29Speaker 2: the next game had to wear no shirt and a tutu.
- 5:34Speaker 9: Yikes.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And that's what you had to wear in the team photos.
- 5:37Speaker 10: Oh, jeez.
- 5:38Speaker 2: And we lost.
- 5:39Speaker 11: No.
- 5:41Speaker 7: Where is this team photo?
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's framed in my son Kemp's bedroom. Oh my gosh.
- 5:44Speaker 7: Bring it in.
- 5:45Speaker 2: It's terrible. No shirt on. And it's everybody, all the
- 5:50Speaker 2: other kids, the kids like stand there normal, except Kemp's
- 5:52Speaker 2: doing some weird pose. But it's like the dad, one
- 5:55Speaker 2: dad has got no shirt on and a tutu. And
- 5:57Speaker 2: then I'm on the other side, no shirt on and
- 5:59Speaker 2: a tutu. It's terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Clearly 28 to 35%
- 6:03Speaker 2: body fat in that photo. Oh my gosh. It's John
- 6:09Speaker 2: Jay and Rich.
- 6:12Speaker 3: This is John Jay and Rich.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Bye for horoscopes today.
- 6:18Speaker 10: I'm going to let you know the thing that your
- 6:20Speaker 10: Zodiac sign refuses to admit.
- 6:23Speaker 2: All right. Let's say hello to Mary Kay. Good morning,
- 6:24Speaker 2: Mary Kay.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Hi.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Good morning, guys.
- 6:28Speaker 2: What's your sign?
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm an Aries.
- 6:31Speaker 10: Okay, so my Aries, the thing that you guys refuse
- 6:34Speaker 10: to admit is that you aggressively create your own stress
- 6:37Speaker 10: by treating every single day like it's this high-stakes competitive race.
- 6:41Speaker 10: I promise nobody's trying to outwork you or outspeed you
- 6:44Speaker 10: at 9 a.m. Aries, you guys just completely look at
- 6:47Speaker 10: your own redlining over your basic to-do list.
- 6:52Speaker 9: That sounds pretty accurate.
- 6:53Speaker 2: We are our own worst enemies.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I swear.
- 6:55Speaker 1: For sure.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Oh, Mary Kay. Have a great day, Mary Kay.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Thanks guys.
- 7:01Speaker 9: You too.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Bye-bye.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Hello, Jen.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Good morning. Good morning.
- 7:07Speaker 2: What's your sign, Jen?
- 7:08Speaker 9: I'm a cancer.
- 7:10Speaker 10: Okay, so for my cancers, the things that you guys
- 7:12Speaker 10: refuse to admit is that you actually enjoy swimming in
- 7:16Speaker 10: your own emotional misery sometimes. You hold on to grudges
- 7:19Speaker 10: like they're premium collectibles. Your hypersensitive water sign will rewrite
- 7:24Speaker 10: a tiny accidental text shown shift into this massive full-scale
- 7:29Speaker 10: betrayal just so you can feel something.
- 7:31Speaker 9: Oh my gosh, I feel like you just scoped rich.
- 7:37Speaker 9: Like I am very emotional. I don't hold grudges, but
- 7:40Speaker 9: I love crying.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You do?
- 7:44Speaker 9: Yes, I'm having a rich moment right now.
- 7:46Speaker 4: I don't love crying, but I mean, when you watch
- 7:48Speaker 4: Hail Mary and that rock tries to sacrifice themselves to save...
- 7:52Speaker 4: That rock.
- 7:53Speaker 2: That rock. That rock. Made you cry. I cried over
- 7:57Speaker 2: a rock.
- 8:01Speaker 9: Thank you for scoping me, Pepe.
- 8:02Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Bye. Thanks, Jen. All right, how about Libros?
- 8:06Speaker 10: Libros, Kyle, you refuse to admit that your chronic indecisiveness
- 8:10Speaker 10: is actually a deep fear of everyone in the room
- 8:13Speaker 10: not liking you.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Ouch.
- 8:15Speaker 10: You will spend 45 minutes violently agreeing with two opposite
- 8:18Speaker 10: sides of a fight just to maintain the peace in
- 8:21Speaker 10: the middle.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Incorrect, Peyton. We agree because we can see both sides.
- 8:27Speaker 2: We can see both sides.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Also, who wants everyone in the room to not like them?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Oh man. You know, it's funny about you say that.
- 8:39Speaker 2: So I have a, you know, the highly successful John J.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Van Ness podcast.
- 8:42Speaker 6: Yes.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Also on Instagram, you can follow the John J. Van
- 8:45Speaker 2: Ness podcast. I don't run that podcast. I have no,
- 8:49Speaker 2: no access to it or nothing. And there's a couple
- 8:52Speaker 2: of the guests I've interviewed has got some, like a
- 8:54Speaker 2: negative comment or two, and I feel bad for the guests. So,
- 8:57Speaker 2: I'll call up the guy that runs it, Tyler, my
- 8:59Speaker 2: podcast creator. And I'll be like, hey, somebody said something.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I go, can you do it? They don't need that.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Delete it. He's like, all right. And then the other
- 9:05Speaker 2: day I was there doing the podcast. And he goes, man,
- 9:08Speaker 2: there's been a couple of haters so far. It's because
- 9:11Speaker 2: I've never seen so much hate. And I was like, huh?
- 9:15Speaker 2: And I go, how many comments? Three comments he had
- 9:17Speaker 2: to delete. I go, bro, I get it.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Thousands i go let it bounce off who cares three
- 9:25Speaker 6: and he goes yeah and then they get mad and
- 9:27Speaker 6: say why do you keep deleting comments like well block
- 9:29Speaker 6: those guys if they say why you delete comments because
- 9:31Speaker 6: we don't there's no room for negativity on this instagram
- 9:34Speaker 6: the john j vaness.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Podcast is a positive podcast follow to instagram uh speaking
- 9:39Speaker 2: of john j vaness what's his instagram he's a virgo
- 9:42Speaker 2: what do you got for uh For Virgos.
- 9:44Speaker 10: Well, the thing that my Virgos refuse to admit is
- 9:46Speaker 10: that your constant, quote unquote, helpful advice is actually just
- 9:50Speaker 10: a passive aggressive urge to micromanage and control everyone around you.
- 9:54Speaker 10: You truly believe you're saving the day when in reality,
- 9:56Speaker 10: people are just deeply exhausted by you.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Wow.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Wowzers. That works.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Sorry, it's the stars that set it on me. He
- 10:06Speaker 1: just says that works.
- 10:07Speaker 2: That's fine. Did we get everybody? Did we do everybody's? Yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 2: we're all good.
- 10:10Speaker 3: All right.
- 10:11Speaker 2: If you need to get your sign, they're all posted
- 10:12Speaker 2: on our website, johnjainrich.com.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I was a ghost.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I was alone. You know that it's... April, good morning.
- 10:26Speaker 2: You're on the air. How are you? Thanks for holding.
- 10:29Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 10:29Speaker 6: I'm good.
- 10:29Speaker 1: How are you?
- 10:30Speaker 8: Good.
- 10:30Speaker 2: What's up?
- 10:32Speaker 9: Oh, you know, I've got a lot going on. Yeah?
- 10:36Speaker 6: Like?
- 10:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Like?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Like what, April?
- 10:45Speaker 11: April?
- 10:46Speaker 6: Like what?
- 10:48Speaker 2: Oh, so, um.
- 10:50Speaker 4: You know.
- 10:50Speaker 7: What?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Sorry, April.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Leave her alone.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Go ahead. What's going on? What's going on, April?
- 11:02Speaker 7: Like what?
- 11:04Speaker 9: Well, you know, I'm calling because my family has just
- 11:07Speaker 9: been on my back for quite a while.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:12Speaker 2: How about? Is that it? Um.
- 11:15Speaker 9: Okay, I've been single for about a year, and I
- 11:18Speaker 9: am really, really, really enjoying it. I feel like I'm
- 11:21Speaker 9: getting to know myself for the first time. But they
- 11:25Speaker 9: don't love it. My parents think that the longer I'm single,
- 11:32Speaker 9: the more likely it is that they will end up
- 11:36Speaker 9: with no grandkids, and that's just unfathomable to them. And so.
- 11:42Speaker 9: I finally got tired of it. It was like a
- 11:43Speaker 9: call every day. So I created an AI bot and
- 11:49Speaker 9: I've been dating him. And this AI bot somehow appeases
- 11:54Speaker 9: your family because they don't know it's an AI bot
- 11:56Speaker 9: or what?
- 11:57Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 11:59Speaker 9: I gave him everything. I gave him a name. I
- 12:01Speaker 9: have all these fun details about him that you'd know
- 12:04Speaker 9: if you were dating someone. And I told him that
- 12:07Speaker 9: he's a travel photographer, which explains why he's never around.
- 12:12Speaker 9: And they are just eating it up.
- 12:15Speaker 4: What happens when it's time for the holidays?
- 12:19Speaker 9: He's gone all year for that.
- 12:20Speaker 2: They broke up. And by the way, I don't think
- 12:24Speaker 2: she's alone. I think a lot of people do this.
- 12:25Speaker 2: That's what I've been hearing a lot about.
- 12:28Speaker 9: Exactly. And I thought I had until the holidays just
- 12:31Speaker 9: sort of figure that out. You know, we had a
- 12:32Speaker 9: bad breakup. Except now my sister just told me that
- 12:38Speaker 9: she booked this really fancy restaurant for my birthday. And
- 12:41Speaker 9: she's insisting that he come.
- 12:43Speaker 3: So my deadline has moved up. Oh.
- 12:47Speaker 2: You just break up before then.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Can you find somebody on a dating site that resembles
- 12:52Speaker 4: your AI bot and then just have them play the part?
- 12:55Speaker 4: And then you guys will actually fall in love like
- 12:57Speaker 4: every good rom-com?
- 12:59Speaker 9: You know, that was my first idea. And I think
- 13:01Speaker 9: it's a good plan, right? I was wondering if it's
- 13:04Speaker 9: better to do that or... But I'm scared that they'll
- 13:08Speaker 9: find out that he'll slip up or something. Like, that
- 13:10Speaker 9: would have to be a good actor. Or I could
- 13:14Speaker 9: kill him off.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah, you break up the relationship.
- 13:17Speaker 9: Kill him off?
- 13:18Speaker 1: How do you kill him off? I have to go
- 13:20Speaker 1: to the funeral today.
- 13:21Speaker 7: He died?
- 13:22Speaker 2: What?
- 13:23Speaker 4: That is so extreme. He was taking a selfie with
- 13:27Speaker 4: a leopard. He has a travel photographer, and the leopard
- 13:29Speaker 4: got him.
- 13:30Speaker 10: That just happened to some girl in China. The snow leopard,
- 13:33Speaker 10: didn't you see that?
- 13:34Speaker 4: Yes.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a girl in China. They were hiking.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Isn't the Appalachian Mountains somewhere over there?
- 13:39Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 13:39Speaker 10: They were in the mountains where the snow mountains.
- 13:41Speaker 2: It was a big story in Stacks and Hacks a
- 13:43Speaker 2: few weeks ago.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah, she took a selfie. A few weeks ago.
- 13:45Speaker 7: And it attacked her.
- 13:48Speaker 2: That's so scary, though.
- 13:49Speaker 9: It just happens.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I don't think it's... Does that make sense?
- 13:52Speaker 9: I think if you kill off the AI chatbot boyfriend,
- 13:56Speaker 9: you're going to be hacked.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Just break up with him.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Just break up with him. I don't know.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I like your extreme love of drama.
- 14:02Speaker 2: You saw he was mean to a dog, and so
- 14:03Speaker 2: you ended it. And that was it. And then no
- 14:05Speaker 2: one's going to question that. Okay.
- 14:06Speaker 9: I was just scared to hire somebody or, or find
- 14:09Speaker 9: somebody on a dating app because then I've, I've showed
- 14:12Speaker 9: them pictures that I've generated.
- 14:16Speaker 4: You're not falling for this AI bot.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Are you?
- 14:18Speaker 4: Cause that's another good rom-com.
- 14:20Speaker 2: She gave all her money.
- 14:23Speaker 9: Really bad idea on my part. I'm so far.
- 14:25Speaker 2: No, she created him and he scammed her out all
- 14:28Speaker 2: her money.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Oh no.
- 14:29Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Well, you're in the tough bind too, man. Well, Thanks
- 14:34Speaker 2: for calling in, April.
- 14:36Speaker 9: Thank you for having me.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Totally. I mean, I think what you're going through right
- 14:39Speaker 2: now is actually going to be more common than we think,
- 14:42Speaker 2: especially now when you put these chap out. You put
- 14:45Speaker 2: the personality into a humanoid robot, and then you have
- 14:47Speaker 2: a person. You're going to be more and more similar.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, once they start releasing those robots.
- 14:51Speaker 2: That's the future. All right, April. Thanks for listening. I
- 14:58Speaker 2: got a DM from Andrea. Really, really interesting situation she's in. And, well,
- 15:05Speaker 2: I said, can we get your number? You got to
- 15:06Speaker 2: come and tell the story. Andrea, good morning.
- 15:08Speaker 9: Good morning, guys.
- 15:09Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 15:11Speaker 9: Well, my poor grandmother, she's in her 80s. And my
- 15:16Speaker 9: grandpa passed away recently. And she was married to him
- 15:18Speaker 9: for over 40 years. And now she is single and
- 15:23Speaker 9: ready to mingle and has a very active Facebook life now. Um,
- 15:29Speaker 9: and we've noticed she started sharing a lot of pictures
- 15:32Speaker 9: of like Kevin Costner and like sharing from the specific site. Um,
- 15:38Speaker 9: and we, at first we're.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Like, oh, that's weird.
- 15:41Speaker 9: And then the more she started sharing, the more we
- 15:44Speaker 9: started realizing, oh, she, she thinks she's talking to this
- 15:47Speaker 9: person and she doesn't even realize it says Kevin Costner
- 15:52Speaker 9: fan page and Um, but this accountant started commenting on
- 15:57Speaker 9: her stuff. She started commenting on his stuff and we
- 16:01Speaker 9: thought it.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Was cute at first.
- 16:03Speaker 9: It was kind of silly. You know, he would say
- 16:05Speaker 9: how beautiful she is. Um, and then as the weeks
- 16:09Speaker 9: went by, we realized she's definitely sending this man money
- 16:12Speaker 9: and she has no idea that these comments are public. Um,
- 16:17Speaker 9: and I, John Jay, I think you'll like this. she
- 16:20Speaker 9: also thinks she's talking to, um, Mark Harmon.
- 16:25Speaker 7: Mark definitely doesn't make, um, Kevin.
- 16:29Speaker 9: Costner is definitely her number one, but, um, Yeah, I
- 16:44Speaker 9: told my dad and I said, you got to tell her.
- 16:47Speaker 9: She doesn't know that these are public messages and not him.
- 16:53Speaker 9: And she got pretty defensive. She said, no, this is
- 16:56Speaker 9: Mark Harmon and this is Kevin Costner. Don't you worry.
- 16:59Speaker 9: You know, it's just friends and I'm not sending him money.
- 17:04Speaker 9: But her Facebook posts are definitely insinuating otherwise.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Why would she send Kevin Costner money? I mean, I
- 17:11Speaker 2: know he's out of work now.
- 17:12Speaker 7: Why would Kevin say he needed it?
- 17:13Speaker 2: Because he's like, hey, I'm not in season six of Yellowstone. Right. Like,
- 17:16Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Like, why would she do that?
- 17:21Speaker 2: I know.
- 17:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 9: But she's very happy. And does not want people to
- 17:28Speaker 9: disrupt her happiness. But she definitely has no idea that
- 17:32Speaker 9: these are public messages.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Is your grandma, like, is she, like, losing her mind?
- 17:36Speaker 9: Like, seriously.
- 17:37Speaker 10: Because, you know, when you get older, like, things change
- 17:39Speaker 10: and things like that. Is she a little crazy because
- 17:42Speaker 10: she's getting older?
- 17:42Speaker 9: I think she's definitely a thousand percent.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:47Speaker 9: But still has the capability of sending money.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Isn't that the slow roll where they just give her
- 17:53Speaker 4: compliments and then soon, I'm air-quoting Kevin Costner, he's going
- 17:57Speaker 4: to be like, I need a little money to help
- 17:59Speaker 4: Horizon 2 get off the ground, but I'll pay you
- 18:01Speaker 4: right back. Isn't that the way those things always roll out?
- 18:04Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 18:05Speaker 9: But then what's sad is at one point, her most
- 18:07Speaker 9: recent message was on his comments and she said, I'm
- 18:12Speaker 9: tired of you giving me mixed signals. I just want
- 18:15Speaker 9: to know.
- 18:19Speaker 9: The truth. So she's, she's kind of catching on. Maybe, um,
- 18:25Speaker 9: that maybe he's a little shady.
- 18:26Speaker 2: But, um, does she call him Kevin or Kevin Costner?
- 18:29Speaker 2: I think Kevin. Oh, look at this.
- 18:35Speaker 9: But anyway, that reminded me of Grant. I just want
- 18:38Speaker 9: to know how he handled his situation back in the
- 18:40Speaker 9: day with his mom. I feel like I never heard
- 18:42Speaker 9: a follow-up.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Okay, well, Grant is in here, but let me just
- 18:44Speaker 2: read you this headline. I just typed in Kevin Costner scams,
- 18:47Speaker 2: and it says, this woman says, big article, I was
- 18:50Speaker 2: scammed out of $ 200, 000 by a fake Kevin Costner. Dang. Man,
- 18:56Speaker 2: do you got to be.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. All right, so, Grant, what happened to you?
- 18:59Speaker 2: Because remember, your mom was sending money to. Nigeria. Nigeria.
- 19:03Speaker 5: I mean, to several people who all ended up being,
- 19:07Speaker 5: I think, the same person.
- 19:09Speaker 2: But you got very involved. Oh, man.
- 19:11Speaker 5: I got blocked by, like, I was calling down there, like,
- 19:15Speaker 5: probably four or five times, like, a week, and getting
- 19:18Speaker 5: a hold of people and talking to them to record evidence, basically, that, hey,
- 19:23Speaker 5: this is a scam.
- 19:23Speaker 2: For your mom, not for a government or to arrest them. No, no, no.
- 19:27Speaker 5: I mean, there's no jurisdiction anyway. Like, nobody can do
- 19:29Speaker 5: anything here. for a crime that's happening over there but
- 19:33Speaker 5: i think like ultimately the stuff that ends up happening
- 19:36Speaker 5: with like this kevin costner scam is they'll say oh
- 19:40Speaker 5: you caught me i'm not kevin costner but we have
- 19:42Speaker 5: this amazing emotional connection right and then they're like well
- 19:46Speaker 5: yeah he is a scammer but this is why he
- 19:48Speaker 5: did this we still have had these conversations. We've still talked.
- 19:51Speaker 5: We've still established this connection. Even though he lied to
- 19:55Speaker 5: me about being Kevin Costner, he's still a really great
- 19:57Speaker 5: guy that needs $ 200 for a new pair of shoes.
- 20:00Speaker 2: And your mom fell for that?
- 20:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Is your mom done with the Nigerian people? I think so.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Honestly, there's a point, too, where it's like, I love
- 20:09Speaker 5: my mom, and I'm not going to be her boss.
- 20:12Speaker 5: I'm not going to be the guy who's like, You
- 20:14Speaker 5: can't talk to whoever you want to talk to. You
- 20:16Speaker 5: can't do what you want to do. So at a point,
- 20:18Speaker 5: I was just like, you know what? I did everything
- 20:21Speaker 5: I could. I've literally become enemy number one in this
- 20:24Speaker 5: Nigerian hair salon. So I did my part, and she,
- 20:29Speaker 5: I think, has now moved on and is now– Talking
- 20:32Speaker 5: to Kevin Costner.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Kevin Costner.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Actually, I'm going to Kevin. I'm going to Uncle Kev's.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Send him on the link to the Facebook of Kevin Costner.
- 20:41Speaker 2: But you brought up Mark Harmon, by the way, Andrea.
- 20:43Speaker 2: You brought up Mark Harmon. And we're big fans of
- 20:46Speaker 2: Mark Harmon over here. Hello, I'm Mark Harmon. Mark, Mark, Mark,
- 20:49Speaker 2: Mark Harmon.
- 20:50Speaker 9: Mark Harmon.
- 20:51Speaker 2: This movie starring Mark Harmon on TV. Look at Mark Harmon.
- 20:55Speaker 2: It starred Mark Harmon. Wait, look up Mark Harmon, too.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Mark Harmon played him early. I think it might have
- 21:00Speaker 2: been the 80s or something. And Mark Harmon is really good. Yeah,
- 21:02Speaker 2: that's Mark Harmon. That's Mark Harmon. What do you see here, Lois?
- 21:05Speaker 1: Do we have to?
- 21:06Speaker 2: What do you see?
- 21:08Speaker 1: A picture of Mark Harmon.
- 21:10Speaker 6: A picture of Mark Harmon, the greatest actor who ever lived.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Do you see a wheelchair under Mark Harmon?
- 21:16Speaker 9: Peter.
- 21:16Speaker 7: Lois, do you see a wheelchair under Mark Harmon?
- 21:23Speaker 8: No.
- 21:24Speaker 2: No, you do not. Mark Harmon. I was a big
- 21:27Speaker 2: fan of Mark Harmon. Well, we hope she stops sending
- 21:30Speaker 2: money to Kevin Costner.
- 21:32Speaker 9: Yeah, me too. Well, Grant, I'm glad your mom is
- 21:35Speaker 9: doing well too.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Well, thank you. I would just tell your dad or
- 21:38Speaker 5: whoever is involved just to like, yeah, you know, be like, hey,
- 21:41Speaker 5: what's the deal? Ask the questions that are hard to
- 21:44Speaker 5: give logical answers to. Like, have you met this guy?
- 21:46Speaker 5: Are you planning on meeting this guy?
- 21:48Speaker 2: Can I meet this guy?
- 21:49Speaker 5: Yeah, what's his plan moving forward with you? Because, you know,
- 21:53Speaker 5: you've got a financial, you know, thing going on that you,
- 21:57Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Who is this co-star in No Way Out?
- 21:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Sean Young. Yeah, that's right.
- 22:03Speaker 10: Sean Young.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Ask a bunch of Kevin Costner trivia and see if
- 22:07Speaker 2: she gets it. All right. Thank you, Andrea. Thanks for
- 22:10Speaker 2: calling in. I hope Grant helped you a little bit. Thanks, guys.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I appreciate it.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Okay. Bye-bye.
- 22:15Speaker 11: Bye.
- 22:15Speaker 7: Want to talk or throw some shade? Call John Jay
- 22:19Speaker 7: and Rich.
- 22:21Speaker 5: 877-937-1047.
- 22:21Speaker 2: It's time for Stacks and Hacks. I have stacks of information.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Rich has life hacks. I start off my stacks of
- 22:28Speaker 2: information by playing a little song. Guess who this is?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Ed Sheeran.
- 22:45Speaker 10: I would say, like, let's say Sam Hunt since you
- 22:47Speaker 10: just talked about him.
- 22:48Speaker 2: It's the NBA star Jimmy Butler.
- 22:50Speaker 1: No way.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Really?
- 22:51Speaker 9: Wow.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Jimmy Butler is releasing a country album. That's a clip
- 22:55Speaker 2: of a song.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Not bad.
- 22:55Speaker 1: That doesn't even sound like Jimmy Butler.
- 22:58Speaker 4: It's not AI Jimmy Butler?
- 23:00Speaker 2: It's not AI. It's not AI.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Oh, it's a trippy.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Anyway, yeah, so that was kind of cool. And listen
- 23:04Speaker 2: to this. So this is a big story. A truck
- 23:07Speaker 2: carrying fireworks exploded on I-17 in Tennessee. The video's amazing.
- 23:24Speaker 2: It goes on and on and on. We've exploded. Okay, now,
- 23:27Speaker 2: I might need a little help explaining this. The Financial
- 23:30Speaker 2: Times reports that OpenAI is ready to move on from
- 23:36Speaker 2: ChatGPT because chat is dead. Apparently, in a matter of weeks,
- 23:42Speaker 2: it's going to transform into a super app described as
- 23:45Speaker 2: a gateway for agents and coding tools to generate more revenue.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I thought OpenAI and Chachapiti were the same thing. But
- 23:52Speaker 2: I don't know what that means. Does anybody make sense? Anybody?
- 23:54Speaker 7: Isn't that what it's saying?
- 23:56Speaker 4: Unless it can write code to come up with apps
- 23:58Speaker 4: and everything. So it's ready to move on from just that.
- 24:00Speaker 2: But no more Chachapiti? Like, I love Chachapiti. I love Chachapiti.
- 24:04Speaker 8: Chachapiti.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Woman was cleaning out her garage. Her husband died about
- 24:12Speaker 2: 10 years ago. And she hadn't really cleaned out the freezer.
- 24:14Speaker 2: She goes to clean out the freezer and she finds
- 24:16Speaker 2: 20 sticks of live dynamite. The bomb squad had to
- 24:19Speaker 2: come out. Police in California are investigating a road rage
- 24:24Speaker 2: incident that ended up with one person hitting the other
- 24:26Speaker 2: person over the head with a ukulele.
- 24:29Speaker 10: What?
- 24:30Speaker 2: Both drivers left the scene. It doesn't sound like there
- 24:32Speaker 2: are any suspects yet. A ukulele?
- 24:34Speaker 4: It doesn't sound like that'd be that painful.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Just randomly got one in the back. Just like, you know,
- 24:38Speaker 1: sometimes you got to use whatever's around you.
- 24:41Speaker 2: A new study says laughter can help kids lower stress,
- 24:44Speaker 2: straighten relationships, and even improve their brain development. So it's
- 24:48Speaker 2: good to get laughing at home. Business Insider has a
- 24:52Speaker 2: list of the highest paying jobs in every state. They're
- 24:55Speaker 2: all chief executives, health care jobs, lawyers, managers, pilots and
- 25:01Speaker 2: flight engineers and software developers. Well, those are all high
- 25:06Speaker 2: paying jobs. Yeah, it sounds like it. All right. So
- 25:08Speaker 2: Dan Sullivan is accusing Dan Sullivan of rigging a Senate race.
- 25:12Speaker 2: If you don't know, there are two Republicans with the
- 25:14Speaker 2: same name in Alaska. And they're trashing each other.
- 25:18Speaker 7: How confusing.
- 25:19Speaker 2: How, like, Dan Sullivan's, like, all pissed off at the
- 25:22Speaker 2: other Dan Sullivan and doing interviews. And it's so hard
- 25:25Speaker 2: to follow.
- 25:26Speaker 11: This is serious stuff.
- 25:27Speaker 2: That's Dan Sullivan.
- 25:28Speaker 11: People are going, oh, there's two Dan Sullivans. Isn't that funny? No,
- 25:31Speaker 11: it's cheating. And his whole purpose of running is to
- 25:34Speaker 11: confuse Alaskans and make them think Alaskan voters. that somehow
- 25:39Speaker 11: he's me. Then when he filed his campaign logo, his letterhead,
- 25:45Speaker 11: his website, all had my campaign logo that I've had
- 25:51Speaker 11: for 13 years.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Dan Sullivan.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Dan.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Dan Sullivan's got beef.
- 25:56Speaker 7: Dan and diabolical Dan.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Who to vote for and who not to vote for.
- 25:59Speaker 2: It's the same. A British woman found a very unusual
- 26:01Speaker 2: way of keeping her late pet dog close to her
- 26:04Speaker 2: by having his ashes mixed in with her semi-permanent eyeliner.
- 26:08Speaker 1: What?
- 26:08Speaker 9: Ew.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 26:09Speaker 4: That grosses me out.
- 26:10Speaker 1: No, that's gross.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 26:13Speaker 1: That sounds like unsanitary.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I saw Peyton talk about this thing. You're talking about
- 26:17Speaker 2: this Korean thing?
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Korean lash lift.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and there's the girl that runs our Love Pup
- 26:23Speaker 2: social media. She's amazing. Her name's Angelina. And I saw her,
- 26:27Speaker 2: so Peyton brought it up the other day. I just
- 26:28Speaker 2: heard her saying it. And then on my Instagram, Angelina
- 26:31Speaker 2: goes and gets Korean eyeliner and, or what is it?
- 26:35Speaker 10: Korean lash lift. It's your natural eyelash. It's basically, they
- 26:39Speaker 10: put some kind of product to lift your eyelashes, but
- 26:42Speaker 10: they do it different than a regular lash lift.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I got to see this video because it looked like
- 26:46Speaker 2: they flipped her eyelids and did something.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's kind of how it looked.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it looked a little like, oh, thank you. That's
- 26:50Speaker 2: a little weird.
- 26:51Speaker 10: Have Angelina send me her girl because I want it back.
- 26:53Speaker 2: I'll send it to you.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Really?
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah. What do you have for life hacks, Rich?
- 26:56Speaker 4: You ever go to a work site and you see
- 26:57Speaker 4: the people in the vest and you're like, I wonder
- 26:59Speaker 4: what color those vests mean. Here's how you can tell.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Here's your life hack. Yellow, commonly used by general workers.
- 27:07Speaker 4: I have a yellow vest. I know you have a
- 27:08Speaker 4: yellow vest.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I try to sneak into Coachella with it.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Well, so they think you're a general worker. Orange is
