- 0:02This is a Ben Frank connection presentation.
- 0:27What's going on everybody welcome back with five questions
- 0:30with ABJ. We are here at Labor of Love and
- 0:33Attic Brewing here in Philadelphia, PA.
- 0:37Euphoria, which is going to be a super exciting show.
- 0:40Yesterday on the show, my guest today was part of it and I am
- 0:45here today with. Just this guy who wrestles from
- 0:50time to time. Hello everybody.
- 0:53Paul London in the brewery. Yeah, a fun match yesterday,
- 0:59Mike Bailey took it up, you know, a notch or two.
- 1:03And boy, I'm feeling that knees to the back thing that was as
- 1:09well. I'm going to let him do that
- 1:10again. Come on.
- 1:12But no a lot of fun man. It's a fun show.
- 1:15You enjoying yourself? I'm.
- 1:17Having an absolute flat, it's mainly a weekend.
- 1:19This is this is the Super Bowl for us.
- 1:20That's right. Being from the Northeast is like
- 1:22in our backyard. It's great stuff.
- 1:24Endless amount of shows, endless amount of wrestlers.
- 1:27Who will you remember in the end?
- 1:29Yes, so, so let's get right into it.
- 1:31What is your current goal in life currently?
- 1:34My current goal in life is to go from job to job as an actor and
- 1:41just find projects that I would want to watch and that I would
- 1:46want to share with people and just keep telling stories on a
- 1:50bigger platform. You know what I mean?
- 1:52I think cinema is pretty universal and to me that's,
- 1:57that's, you know, the top. Nice.
- 2:00What are you currently doing to achieve this goal?
- 2:02I live out in the the muck of Los Angeles amongst all the
- 2:08other delusional dreamers like myself.
- 2:14And I'm just, I'm constantly auditioning.
- 2:17I'm auditioning. I've worked more last year than
- 2:20I have in my entire career. Yeah, I did I think 5 Christmas
- 2:24movies last year, can't tell you if they're good or not, but you
- 2:28know, it's it's picking up steam, but I'm not I'm not
- 2:32satisfied. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:33So constantly auditioning. I got 2 auditions I got to do
- 2:37after this interview today so. Awesome.
- 2:40Awesome. Yeah.
- 2:42What is currently holding you back?
- 2:43Or a possible distraction from your goals.
- 2:46Well, I have this awesome side gig where I put on spandex and I
- 2:56travel away from Los Angeles, away from a lot of the
- 3:01auditioning jobs. And then I put my body and my
- 3:06health and my life on the line. And often times I am banged up
- 3:13and in a lot of pain. But, you know, in an odd way,
- 3:17depending on the role, that can sometimes assist me as well.
- 3:23But I also run an Academy, K Fab Academy in Los Angeles.
- 3:30And I train young hopefuls, young hungry hopefuls, four days
- 3:34a week, twice a day, two of those days.
- 3:38So I'm constantly, you know, I'm at the gym more than I'm at my
- 3:42home. Yeah, so that's just more
- 3:46wrestling stuff that I'm doing in addition to the shows that I
- 3:51do on the weekends. And so that's the long winded
- 3:54answer to #4 no #3 so. Who or what motivates or
- 4:00inspires you to keep going? Wow, that's such a I've such a
- 4:06there's so many people. I would say artistically as an
- 4:10actor, I'm Sam Rockwell's my favorite actor.
- 4:13He really inspires me. One of my dear friends who also
- 4:17train, his name's Paul Walter Hauser.
- 4:20He also inspires me, especially as an actor because he really
- 4:25helps me understand that, you know, it's not always the best
- 4:31person that gets the job. You can be super talented, and
- 4:34there's just so many other very, you know, variables that are out
- 4:36of your hands. Even just the other day, I had
- 4:40one of my friends who's directing a film, and I actually
- 4:43got an audition for his film. And I sent in the tape and he,
- 4:48you know, said you were by part of the best tape we got.
- 4:51But the girl they cast for the leads pretty young.
- 4:54I'm like, OK, I get what you're saying.
- 4:56You know, I can't fit that demographic.
- 4:59Yeah. I'm like, well, recast her, man.
- 5:01Come on. Actually, as we're talking, your
- 5:04match is being. Played Oh my God, I.
- 5:05Don't know if I. Want to see that?
- 5:09So what are you grateful for and are you currently happy?
- 5:14I am, I am grateful. I'm grateful to countless
- 5:18people. I'm grateful for my health.
- 5:22I'm grateful for, you know, people still wanting to see me
- 5:28in tight clothing and sing songs and, you know, lay on my head.
- 5:35You know, I'm, I'm grateful that people seem to enjoy stuff that
- 5:41I do. That's that's very nourishing.
- 5:45You left a great impact your your your tag team run alone
- 5:48slower were were fantastic. You you and Brian were very
- 5:52insanely entertaining. Thank you and and you brought a
- 5:55level of wrestling of like maybe this at the time, the smaller
- 5:58guy, the high flyer. You brought it an era of
- 6:00wrestling that was really fun and you left a huge impact for a
- 6:03lot of people. Thank.
- 6:03You we did the best we could with what we were able to to do.
- 6:08Yeah. You know, again, it's one of
- 6:09those things where you think, well, we have to take care of
- 6:15what we what we can put in our hands, what we can do, you know,
- 6:19and that was always, you know, working out and working on our
- 6:23wrestling skills. And, you know, yeah, we did the
- 6:26best we could with what we had, and we're grateful for that.
- 6:29You know I am. Yeah, so where can people find
- 6:32and support you? I'm not so much of A social
- 6:36media whore, but I I do dabble on Twitter from time to time,
- 6:42but I use Instagram more. But those are the only two
- 6:45things I really use. And it's at London Foo.
- 6:48It's my last name and then FU like Kung Fu London Foo.
- 6:52And it means nothing else but Foo, right?
- 6:53That's it, yeah. Yeah, just like ABJ doesn't mean
- 6:56anything but my initial exactly. Yeah.
- 6:59And people try to make these acronyms.
- 7:01Yeah. It's like, oh, you're perverted,
- 7:03ABJ No, it's. My name?
- 7:06I'd ask for several at least. Yeah.
- 7:10So Twitter, Instagram at London Foo.
- 7:16I have, I have, I have a movie called Maternal Sin, I think on
- 7:21Amazon Prime. It's whatever.
- 7:25It's fun, you know it's, you know.
- 7:29Awesome. Well that's going to do it. 5
- 7:30questions at ABJ. We'll catch you on the next one.
- 7:32We're out of here, so. OK, thanks for watching this
- 8:03presentation. Like, share and subscribe for
- 8:07more. We are back for the post credits
- 8:17scene here with Paul London. So you, you said you're getting
- 8:21an act, you're doing the acting, you're auditioning for a lot of
- 8:23roles. Is there a genre that you prefer
- 8:26over other? Like are you, you like the hard,
- 8:27do you like the suspense? Do you like drama?
- 8:29Like is there a role that you that a style you would like to
- 8:34do more than others? Yeah.
- 8:35I mean, what and, and to to actually rewind a bit, I was an
- 8:40actor as a kid. So I was an actor before I was
- 8:42ever a wrestler. Yeah, yeah.
- 8:45And that's, I think that helps in going into the whole
- 8:49storytelling aspect, you know, because as an actor, you're
- 8:51really just kind of a cog in this big wheel.
- 8:55And it's such an ensemble that you can only really hope to work
- 9:01with better actors that are going to help you, you know, and
- 9:05you're going to be like, well, they made me look great.
- 9:08You know, this person was really generous.
- 9:11And you hope the same thing in wrestling.
- 9:13And but with the genre of films, I, I grew up on horror.
- 9:20I love action, martial arts films.
- 9:22I think anything that I can best highlight my abilities and my
- 9:26skills, but also, you know, of course, the the goal really is
- 9:32to move people and to hopefully give them moments.
- 9:35And so for me, if the story's great, it doesn't matter if
- 9:39it's, you know, a gay comedy. I don't, you know, I gay
- 9:44romantic. I mean, whatever.
- 9:45I'm not, you know, I've answered that question in some circles
- 9:49were like, ah, would you, you know, kiss man or something like
- 9:51if the part calls for it and it's a good role, like, yeah,
- 9:55because I'm, you know, it's, it's basically what am I, what
- 10:00is it about me that what am I infusing in this character?
- 10:03You know what I mean? And it's not me, right?
- 10:10So it's really how good is the writing?
- 10:12The writing is a huge thing because bad writing is really
- 10:17hard to ask. Yeah, you.
- 10:19Know sometimes those bad movies, they'll stick more to you like
- 10:22yeah, you go do a bad movie and it becomes like a cult classic
- 10:25that's. So true.
- 10:26That's so true. You tear me apart, Lisa.
- 10:31I I, I really appreciate your time.
- 10:34Please go check it out. Is there any movies that maybe
- 10:35people can go, I know you're talking about on Amazon, Yeah.
- 10:37I mean, these are all whatever's I did.
- 10:41I yeah, they're nothing off the top of my head that I want to
- 10:47share. Nothing good that I want to
- 10:49share just. But there is some stuff coming
- 10:51out. If you go to like my social
- 10:53media at London Foo, that's easier where I post stuff
- 10:57because then I have the green light to be like, OK, you can
- 10:59talk about this now. Awesome.
- 11:01Well, I appreciate your time. Thank.
- 11:02You enjoy? Manny Weekend.
- 11:04You like Mike? Wise you too.
- 11:06It was awesome. We had a great job.
- 11:08You're already kicking speedball in the.
- 11:10Head. Oh God.
- 11:11Oh come on, you can. Commentate your match.
- 11:13Oh, no. I wish we could hear it.
- 11:16Yeah, I. I appreciate your time.
- 11:18Thank. You so much likewise, brother.
- 11:19We'll see you on the next one. Yeah, that was awesome.
