  Have you ever felt like you're swimming against the current,

  just trying to do the right thing?

  Like everyone else is finding faster, easier ways to get

  ahead, and you're left wondering if integrity is even worth it

  anymore. In a world that celebrates
• 0:29
  shortcuts and rewards compromise, choosing what's
• 0:32
  right can feel lonely, slow, and even foolish.

  But God sees paths very differently than we do.
• 0:39
  Proverbs Chapter 11, verses 5 to 6, tells us that the
• 0:43
  righteousness of the blameless keeps their way straight, while
• 0:46
  wickedness causes people to trip over their own choices.

  That's such an important truth. God isn't saying righteous
• 0:54
  people never struggle. He's saying that choosing his
• 0:56
  way protects you from traps you don't even see.

  Yet when you walk in righteousness, your path stays
• 1:02
  clear. When you cut corners, those
• 1:05
  shortcuts eventually turn into chains.

  So many people think freedom comes from doing whatever you
• 1:10
  want, but Scripture says the opposite.

  It says the treacherous are taken captive by their own
• 1:16
  desires. What feels exciting at first
• 1:19
  slowly tightens its grip. But righteousness delivers.

  It guards your heart, your future, and your peace.

  Psalm 22 brings comfort to this truth.

  David says that God was with him from the very beginning, from

  the womb, from birth, before he understood anything about life.

  God was already present, already faithful.

  That means you are not navigating this twisted world

  alone. God has been part of your story

  longer than your struggles, longer than your doubts, longer

  than your mistakes. When life feels unfair and it

  seems like others are winning by doing the wrong thing, remember

  it is steady. It may feel harder, but it is

  safer. It leads to peace instead of

  regret, freedom instead of captivity, and confidence

  instead of shame. Doing what's right isn't about

  earning God's love. It's about trusting that He

  knows where the road leads. When you choose righteousness,

  you're choosing clarity. You're choosing protection.

  You're choosing a path shaped by a God who has walked with you

  since the very beginning and isn't about to abandon you now.

  So don't be discouraged if integrity cost you time,

  popularity, or comfort. God is guiding your steps.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for

  being with me from the very beginning of my life.

  When doing the right thing feels hard or lonely, remind me that

  Your way protects and delivers. Help me resist the temptation of

  shortcuts that lead to regret. Give me courage to walk in

  righteousness, trusting that You are guiding my steps and leading

  me toward peace and freedom. I choose your path even when
