- 0:36Speaker 4: I had to sow the longest weekend that went by
- 0:39Speaker 4: the fastest. Do you ever just stack your weekend like this? This, this, this,
- 0:43Speaker 4: this all day Saturday, all day Sunday.
- 0:45Speaker 6: And I just sat in.
- 0:45Speaker 4: My seat here and I was like, we are we
- 0:47Speaker 4: just here, we are we just eating popcorn from Galaxy Theaters.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Cannas just said something crazy to me. She goes, I
- 0:52Speaker 2: don't have a free day until May thirty. First.
- 0:54Speaker 6: Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 0:56Speaker 4: May Somber is like the realest situation for moms on them. Yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 4: we call it May Somber because it's just like events, events, events,
- 1:05Speaker 4: things going on into school.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Year's Spirit Day, you know, Teacher Appreciation Week is this week.
- 1:09Speaker 6: Bring all the things.
- 1:11Speaker 4: I'm just like, I overscheduled myself on top of that.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I know, but you used to be able to say no,
- 1:16Speaker 2: yeah I.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Did, But I'm saying yes because it's things for my
- 1:20Speaker 4: family or things for my son. Like none of this
- 1:22Speaker 4: is like my my thing other.
- 1:24Speaker 6: Than we're going to the Rangers game next weekend. That's
- 1:27Speaker 6: my thing.
- 1:27Speaker 4: But it's on Mother's Day, and so I just I've
- 1:30Speaker 4: stacked it all, stacked it all back to back. We
- 1:32Speaker 4: went to NASCAR yesterday at Texas Motor Speedway.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Oh was that fun?
- 1:37Speaker 6: Really fun? Yeah, but that's a whole day thing too,
- 1:40Speaker 6: and that for my son.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So it could be like me start saying no more. Yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 2: like no, I can't do it.
- 1:45Speaker 7: Well.
- 1:45Speaker 4: I excited this morning as I was looking for my
- 1:48Speaker 4: snacks and like you know, in a frenzy trying to
- 1:50Speaker 4: get out of the house on.
- 1:51Speaker 6: Time in the dark. That starting May thirty.
- 1:53Speaker 4: First, no June, nothing's happening.
- 1:56Speaker 6: My birthday is the last day of June.
- 1:57Speaker 4: So nothing's happening until my birthday unless anyone wants to
- 2:00Speaker 4: do anything like that. Yeah, so's show field trips?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Can we do a show field trip?
- 2:05Speaker 4: We'll all squeeze one in but they'll be last minute. Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 4: if I'm in the mood, we'll do it.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I like that. Yeah, I like it. I like spontaneous though. Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 2: so that's good, but I know everyone can't be spontaneous.
- 2:16Speaker 2: It's tough when you got kids and family.
- 2:18Speaker 6: A good mix of planning and spontaneous.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah that's true. Well good, I'm glad you had
- 2:22Speaker 2: a good weekend. Everything was fun.
- 2:23Speaker 7: Yeah. Thanks.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure who was here. He's in a frenzy today.
- 2:27Speaker 2: What is going on? I know is Poo is so
- 2:30Speaker 2: all over the place this morning. He's making me. He's
- 2:32Speaker 2: making me anxious.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Well because the phones are tripping and I'm trying to
- 2:36Speaker 1: get a hold on those.
- 2:37Speaker 6: Yeah, the door here was tripping.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Yeah, the request lines. You're talking about the request of
- 2:41Speaker 2: the request lines, but I can't. Uh.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Usually when I get here, I check them out, make
- 2:46Speaker 1: sure they work.
- 2:47Speaker 2: They worked.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Hello, Okay, continue on.
- 2:50Speaker 5: Well, right before the show started, my computer restarts and everything,
- 2:55Speaker 5: and I'm like, what's going on?
- 2:57Speaker 2: It never has done that.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Yeah, so it blacked everything out and kick back on.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I test the phones again. Then I can't hear anything.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So I'm like, so I'm like all over the place.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I can sell. It's making me nervous. You got
- 3:09Speaker 2: to be like a duck. Be like a duck. What
- 3:11Speaker 2: does a duck do? A duck on the surface looks
- 3:14Speaker 2: calm and everything's fine. Underwater, his legs are like, you
- 3:19Speaker 2: gotta start looking calm on the surface.
- 3:21Speaker 6: We can see his legs.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Problem, That's what I'm saying. I don't want to see
- 3:28Speaker 2: his legs, Cane. That's the exact point. I don't want
- 3:34Speaker 2: to see who's legs is my entire point, right. I
- 3:37Speaker 2: want him to be like, Hey, you're the producer, just
- 3:40Speaker 2: don't freak out.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Calm down, keep calm and carry on. Wasn't that like
- 3:43Speaker 4: the early two thousands.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Because you freak out, I'm gonna freak out.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Okay, you know, how are your legs, Billy?
- 3:51Speaker 2: I already got my shoes off there. No, my legs
- 3:58Speaker 2: aren't even movings, aren't even moving.
- 4:01Speaker 4: I know.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know if that's a good thing
- 4:03Speaker 2: or not. I will say this though, I'm excited because
- 4:07Speaker 2: today we do tradio radio, which you know, I love.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I love doing tradio radio. Now we've done it before,
- 4:15Speaker 2: and we've done it for things, you know, like concerts,
- 4:16Speaker 2: who knows. I've done it over the years many times.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I mean a lot of times, and I've gotten crazy stuff.
- 4:21Speaker 2: The last time at effect I think we did tradio
- 4:23Speaker 2: radio was when we got to Go.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Yeah it was that for pink tickets?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Was it for pink tickets? I think you're right?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 4:30Speaker 6: Yeah. We got Billy the Goat.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Billy the goat who lives and walks Ahatchie with
- 4:35Speaker 2: his foster parents.
- 4:36Speaker 1: A fainting goats.
- 4:41Speaker 2: He's like me. His legs are hairy and he faints.
- 4:47Speaker 2: But we got nidos to give away, which I mean,
- 4:49Speaker 2: everybody wants these things. I don't get it, but it
- 4:53Speaker 2: doesn't matter if I get it. Yeah, it doesn't matter
- 4:55Speaker 2: because it's viral. People are waiting in lines. We've got
- 4:57Speaker 2: the mystery dumplings to give away.
- 4:59Speaker 4: I squitched and when you squish it in your hand,
- 5:01Speaker 4: you'll get it.
- 5:01Speaker 6: If you haven't like squashed it, you'll get it.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I haven't. I have none to squish.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Well you need to squish one, all right. You understand
- 5:09Speaker 4: why people are crazy for these Well.
- 5:11Speaker 2: We're gonna be doing it every day this week. So
- 5:13Speaker 2: Tradio Radio starts at eight thirty. So start thinking about
- 5:16Speaker 2: what you would want to trade. I will say this,
- 5:19Speaker 2: it's fun to listen to, even if you don't want
- 5:20Speaker 2: to need it, right, it's fun to listen to. But
- 5:23Speaker 2: it doesn't have to be something expensive. People are like, well,
- 5:25Speaker 2: I don't know what to trade. It doesn't It's to
- 5:27Speaker 2: be something unique.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Something unique, and maybe something useful that one of us
- 5:30Speaker 4: might really you.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Know, I really need if you have a yacht on
- 5:34Speaker 2: Lake Lewisville. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, we're exactly perfect. So
- 5:38Speaker 2: let's kick off the show right now.
- 5:40Speaker 3: As his top stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 5:42Speaker 3: Kids in the.
- 5:43Speaker 7: Morning only on the New Mixed one or two point nine.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Right and early out of Monday morning. Candice Lopez, what
- 5:49Speaker 2: is going on in our world?
- 5:50Speaker 4: Yeah, well, some serious news out of forty ID. They're
- 5:53Speaker 4: part of a multi agency investigation stemming from misconduct allegations
- 5:57Speaker 4: at Crosby Elementary School. So the principal, a teacher, and
- 6:01Speaker 4: a number of teachers' aids were let go and will
- 6:04Speaker 4: not be returning.
- 6:05Speaker 6: That's according to the district. They're saying.
- 6:07Speaker 4: The teacher in question was hired back in October under
- 6:10Speaker 4: a name with a clean background check, but they later
- 6:13Speaker 4: learned that he actually had legally changed his name before
- 6:16Speaker 4: being hired by forty ISD, but he was facing charges
- 6:21Speaker 4: under his previous name, and I guess he was acquitted
- 6:25Speaker 4: in that case. But there are parents saying that that's
- 6:27Speaker 4: because the child involved was nonverbal and that that family
- 6:31Speaker 4: later moved away and never testified. But this is all
- 6:34Speaker 4: under investigation by forty police, CPS, and the state. They
- 6:39Speaker 4: haven't released specific details, but the families involved have been
- 6:42Speaker 4: contacted directly about this misconduct.
- 6:45Speaker 6: But I'm hearing it could.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Be up to nine students that were involved in this.
- 6:49Speaker 4: I believe it was a first grade a special education teacher,
- 6:53Speaker 4: but there were aids and they're saying other staff who
- 6:55Speaker 4: witnessed this misconduct and didn't report it immediately and that's
- 6:59Speaker 4: why they were moved from their positions at the school.
- 7:01Speaker 2: So wait, so this guy got through the system by
- 7:04Speaker 2: changing his name correct and then was doing misconduct.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Yes, so we don't know what type, but yeah, so
- 7:13Speaker 4: the way that he was able to kind of slip
- 7:15Speaker 4: through the cracks in all of this, I mean huge
- 7:17Speaker 4: red flags.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Yeah, for the.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Principal, teacher, teacher's aides, a number of you know, staff
- 7:22Speaker 4: at this elementary school to just be removed immediately like that.
- 7:25Speaker 4: I mean, it's pretty serious. So yeah, just thinking about
- 7:28Speaker 4: everyone in forty because that's got to be tough for families,
- 7:31Speaker 4: tough for you know, students at that school.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean and special education teacher.
- 7:36Speaker 6: Yeah, it's awful.
- 7:37Speaker 2: What is going on? Yeah?
- 7:39Speaker 4: Yeah, So I'll keep you posted if there's any updates.
- 7:42Speaker 4: And we should talk about Spirit Airlines guys shutting down
- 7:45Speaker 4: Saturday morning and abruptly canceling service. Seventeen thousand workers lost
- 7:50Speaker 4: their jobs. They left travelers stranded. You know, as of
- 7:54Speaker 4: May twenty twenty four, I guess they operated just over
- 7:57Speaker 4: three thousand, three percent of the domestic flights, and this
- 8:00Speaker 4: month that number would have been around one person. But
- 8:04Speaker 4: there's all these movements online to save Spirit Airlines.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Do we really want that? Listen, I don't want anyone
- 8:11Speaker 2: to lose their job. No, I really don't. Then again,
- 8:15Speaker 2: I've flown Spirit once and I had the worst airline
- 8:18Speaker 2: experience of my entire life, right, literally canceled. Can't My
- 8:23Speaker 2: flight was canceled for no reason? No, not only First
- 8:26Speaker 2: of all, it was left early, right, then it was canceled.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Then the next day was canceled, and I dealt with
- 8:33Speaker 2: the rudest people I've ever dealt with your entire in
- 8:36Speaker 2: my entire life. So do I want to see people
- 8:38Speaker 2: lose their jobs?
- 8:39Speaker 7: No?
- 8:39Speaker 2: But is this just or is this just capitalism at play?
- 8:42Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 8:42Speaker 2: You know where I'm sorry, But the best businesses and
- 8:45Speaker 2: the worst businesses are going to sort themselves out.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Does the government need to come in and save everybody
- 8:50Speaker 2: all the time? I don't know.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, this was kind of a joke to
- 8:54Speaker 4: save Spirit online.
- 8:56Speaker 6: But there's a.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Website let's buy Spirit air dot com and it says,
- 8:59Speaker 4: you know, this website I crashed because how many people went,
- 9:01Speaker 4: you know, and made pledges that they can't even take donations.
- 9:05Speaker 4: At the moment, I can't tell this is still a joke,
- 9:07Speaker 4: but they're claiming there have been over eighty eight million
- 9:10Speaker 4: dollars pledged already by one hundred and twenty four thousand people.
- 9:15Speaker 4: But it has been nice to see some of the
- 9:17Speaker 4: other airlines, you know, stepping up to help these customers
- 9:20Speaker 4: up Spirit that were stranded. And then I think Southwest
- 9:23Speaker 4: actually they Spirit had a guy who was retiring from
- 9:26Speaker 4: their airline and he ended up taking a Southwest flight,
- 9:29Speaker 4: and so they did the whole retirement ceremony for him
- 9:31Speaker 4: and had like the water thing that they do, you know,
- 9:35Speaker 4: once day landed, but they really treated.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Him like he was, you know, retiring from Southwest.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I feel bad for the employees. Don't
- 9:41Speaker 2: get me wrong, the Spirit employees who lost their job,
- 9:43Speaker 2: and the pilots and every I do. So it's not funny.
- 9:47Speaker 2: But my friend the first time he's flown Spirit this weekend,
- 9:52Speaker 2: the first time ever. He literally is stuck in New Orleans.
- 9:57Speaker 6: Now because.
- 10:00Speaker 2: You're somewhere and all of a sudden, you say, your
- 10:03Speaker 2: ticket's going to be refunded. We don't exist anymore, right,
- 10:06Speaker 2: He's like, what do you mean?
- 10:07Speaker 6: Figure it out?
- 10:07Speaker 2: You don't exist. He's never flown it before.
- 10:10Speaker 6: That's insane.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And our friend who it's the same reason, our friendship
- 10:16Speaker 2: chip Al. He's the one who got me to fly
- 10:18Speaker 2: Spirit's dude, come on, man, it's cheap, it doesn't matter.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Get on, Yeah, it's fine, who cares. I've never had
- 10:25Speaker 2: a problem. He like works for Spirit Lok. Yeah, he's
- 10:28Speaker 2: the one that convinced our buddy to do And guess
- 10:30Speaker 2: what now he's driving back from New Orleans. Did you
- 10:33Speaker 2: see what they did in a df let the Spirit
- 10:35Speaker 2: get in DFW. No, they already made it a Spirit
- 10:37Speaker 2: Halloween store.
- 10:40Speaker 6: I did see the meme of the plane though, outfitted
- 10:42Speaker 6: in the Spirit. That's awful, It's hilarious. But real quick, guys.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Sources are saying Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz could be
- 10:52Speaker 4: planning two weddings, possibly in London and one in New York.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Her dad, you know, Lenny Kravitz, lives in New York.
- 10:59Speaker 4: But uh, this is all happening really fast because I
- 11:01Speaker 4: don't even think we knew they were even dating until
- 11:03Speaker 4: August of last year. Yeah, unless they kept it super
- 11:06Speaker 4: low key.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Annoyed. I woke up and I saw this. I was
- 11:10Speaker 2: maybe I'm just a little bit crabby. I'm a snap
- 11:12Speaker 2: out of it. Let me drink this coffee. But two
- 11:14Speaker 2: weddings annoyed me. Not why one wedding annoys me? What
- 11:18Speaker 2: do you need two weddings for?
- 11:19Speaker 4: Well, I guess for like his people. You know, he
- 11:22Speaker 4: wants a British wedding maybe and she wants you know,
- 11:24Speaker 4: an American or go there. Y'all have enough money, though
- 11:27Speaker 4: I don't understand why we would do that.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Just have one wedding and fly your people out to
- 11:31Speaker 2: see you. Right, I hope you have two divorces that
- 11:35Speaker 2: I plan on having two divorces. If you're gonna have
- 11:38Speaker 2: two weddings, have two divorces, you gonna go to both weddings.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I don't go to one.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Yeah, because if I'm in New York, I'm like, no,
- 11:44Speaker 4: I want to travel to London.
- 11:45Speaker 6: But then London is probably like, oh, no, I want
- 11:47Speaker 6: to travel to New York. Yeah, it's gonna be like
- 11:49Speaker 6: everyone from the other city. Probably.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It must be nice to be so rich to have
- 11:53Speaker 2: two weddings. We can barely afford one. Yeah, amen, gas
- 11:56Speaker 2: price is so high you want me to fly to
- 11:57Speaker 2: the UK on spirit to see you? What come on
- 12:02Speaker 2: super Mad Today?
- 12:05Speaker 6: That those are your Texas top stories?
- 12:07Speaker 2: Shall we fake news? All right? I said Candace po.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Iquila, Why are you sweating?
- 12:16Speaker 2: Because, by the way, I love the Pooh's video of
- 12:19Speaker 2: him us praying in with the tequila went viral. I
- 12:23Speaker 2: love it.
- 12:23Speaker 6: I cannot believe.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So if you haven't seen it, Pooh, well we told
- 12:27Speaker 2: him that it was one shot of tequila, two shots
- 12:30Speaker 2: of water and don't make a face, and we'll try
- 12:33Speaker 2: to guess which one, and he did it. Of course,
- 12:35Speaker 2: all three shots were tequila. It went viral online and
- 12:40Speaker 2: I'm dying at some of the comments. It's at Mix
- 12:43Speaker 2: one or two nine FM. You gotta go see it.
- 12:45Speaker 2: And you know what mixes Instagram is so close to
- 12:48Speaker 2: ten thousand followers.
- 12:49Speaker 4: I want to find ten thousand followers going to be.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you'll win a date with pooh ooh. I don't
- 12:56Speaker 2: care if you're a man woman. That's not the wrong

- 13:05Speaker 2: get your mind on the gutter. It's not It's a.
- 13:07Speaker 6: Game I go to.
- 13:10Speaker 2: People would love that. I mean, who's fun to hang
- 13:12Speaker 2: out with?
- 13:12Speaker 7: It is?
- 13:13Speaker 2: It's not fun to work with. Oh okay, let's go
- 13:19Speaker 2: reel or fake news. I'm gonna give you three headlines.
- 13:21Speaker 2: You gotta tell me which one is the fake story?
- 13:24Speaker 2: And our news is ridiculous, So here we go. First headline,

- 13:41Speaker 2: Headline number two, A Texas ice cream shop is serving
- 13:46Speaker 2: crawfish flavored ice cream with an actual crawfish on top.

- 14:14Speaker 2: trading for.
- 14:15Speaker 6: He was trying to his own.
- 14:17Speaker 2: He was doing tradio radio, which we're doing at eight thirty.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Of our phones work because we got nidos and mystery
- 14:21Speaker 2: dumplings to trade. So figure out what you want to trade.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Not your wife though, No, sorry, we don't need that. No,
- 14:28Speaker 2: all right? Uh oh, this is tough today. Which one
- 14:31Speaker 2: is the fake? Headline? Candice Lopez? Would you like to
- 14:34Speaker 2: go first? Or would you like to pass it to Sweaty
- 14:36Speaker 2: Lapoo Poo today?
- 14:38Speaker 4: I think I'll go first today.
- 14:40Speaker 6: This is really hard.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Lock me in for that second story, the crawfish ice cream.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yeah, because doesn't that sound just disgusting? All right, let's
- 14:49Speaker 2: lock it in. It is officially locked in. Okay, producer, pooh,
- 14:52Speaker 2: you're sweating over there. You've had a lot of technical
- 14:54Speaker 2: difficulties also because I think you're just sweaty. In general,
- 15:01Speaker 2: some people just sweat.
- 15:01Speaker 6: It's okay today it is.

- 15:05Speaker 2: think is the fake story?

- 15:09Speaker 1: to trade his wife.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Let's catch it all right, let's lock that in. And
- 15:11Speaker 2: you sure you want to lock that in?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Yeah, ain't nobody trying to trade his wife? Like, let's
- 15:15Speaker 1: lock it in.
- 15:16Speaker 2: It is locked in? And the winner today starting off
- 15:19Speaker 2: his week with a win. It's producer pooh, oh my god,
- 15:26Speaker 2: he's not winning here, but I'm not winning behind the scenes.
- 15:31Speaker 2: But really fake news, he's winning congratulations poo. Yeah, so
- 15:36Speaker 2: that story, it is a fake. It had me fooled though.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I saw this story and I'm like, what is this
- 15:41Speaker 2: guy doing? And it looked like a whole entire story
- 15:44Speaker 2: that was written up where this guy had a contract
- 15:46Speaker 2: he brought his wife in trying to trade her for
- 15:48Speaker 2: a bass boat, and I was like, what is going on?
- 15:51Speaker 2: And then I finally realized it was fake, But it
- 15:53Speaker 2: had me for a minute. Wow, I'd do some serious
- 15:56Speaker 2: investigating games all right. Yeah, this story one of the
- 16:00Speaker 2: real stories. A Texas ice cream shop is serving crawfish
- 16:04Speaker 2: flavored ice cream is a real story. This is just
- 16:08Speaker 2: oh man, I don't get it. Yeah, Texas ice cream
- 16:10Speaker 2: shop is going viral for serving crawfish flavored ice cream,
- 16:13Speaker 2: one of the most unusual food trends right now. The
- 16:15Speaker 2: dessert blends sweet ice cream with buttery garlicky Cajun seasoning
- 16:19Speaker 2: inspired by a traditional crawfish boil, creating a mix of sweet, salty,
- 16:24Speaker 2: and spicy flavors. The shop tops each scoop with a
- 16:28Speaker 2: whole crawfish, and customers are even encouraged to use the
- 16:31Speaker 2: shell as a spoon. Despite how bizarre it sounds, the
- 16:35Speaker 2: flavor has become a fan favorite During crawfish season, it
- 16:38Speaker 2: often sells out due to high demand the places in Houston.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I looked it up. It's called Red Circle, Red Circle
- 16:44Speaker 2: ice Cream Shop. So if you're down there and you
- 16:47Speaker 2: want to throw up there, you go.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I like crawfish too, Yeah too, since I had it,
- 16:52Speaker 4: but I remember liking them.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I was just thinking about that. I'm like, you know what,
- 16:55Speaker 2: I know everything about Cannis, but I don't know if
- 16:58Speaker 2: you like crawfish.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I went to one Fish Boril back in college.
- 17:02Speaker 6: Yeah, my friend Audre her dad used.
- 17:04Speaker 8: To do it.
- 17:04Speaker 2: It's good.
- 17:05Speaker 6: Yeah, I remember it being good. That's I don't remember
- 17:07Speaker 6: a whole lot.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I need to take you right up the street. One
- 17:09Speaker 2: of the best places right here.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Oh yeah, Nate's.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yes, Nate's Seafood.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Oh sounds good.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I used to go there back in the day. I
- 17:16Speaker 2: don't know if he's still around, but I love that guy, Nate.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Nate would get blasted in his bar. He did something
- 17:23Speaker 2: that was so smart. I saw. I witness this first hand.
- 17:26Speaker 2: He got drunk at his own bar, right, and I'm like, oh,
- 17:29Speaker 2: he can't drive, and he's like, no, I can't drive.
- 17:32Speaker 2: He called Triple A to say his car was broke
- 17:34Speaker 2: down and had it towed to his house so it
- 17:38Speaker 2: would be there when he woke up. Sounds like wow,
- 17:44Speaker 2: smart life, right exactly. Okay. Next story, Zebra escapes from
- 17:50Speaker 2: zoo turns out to be a donkey painted with white stripes.
- 17:53Speaker 2: What so this happened in Armenia. Yeah, Monday morning, I
- 17:57Speaker 2: guess it was some morning. Everybody woke up and they
- 17:59Speaker 2: were like, eight was zebra has escaped the city zoo.
- 18:01Speaker 2: It was roaming around one of the Capitol's busiest streets.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Police and emergency services were dispatched. They're trying to figure
- 18:07Speaker 2: out what's going on. The zebra was quickly corralled and
- 18:10Speaker 2: tied up by zoo's staff and bystanders. Only one problem.
- 18:15Speaker 2: It wasn't a zebra. It was a donkey that somebody
- 18:18Speaker 2: had painted with black and white stripes, and they took
- 18:23Speaker 2: it to the zoo. Outside of the zoo and people
- 18:26Speaker 2: were taking pictures with it. They were charging people to
- 18:29Speaker 2: take pictures with the donkey. They was painted like a
- 18:32Speaker 2: zebra and actually making money and people didn't even know.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I think I would know, Yeah, I mean for sure?
- 18:39Speaker 2: Or would I Then again, I don't know. I didn't
- 18:40Speaker 2: see a real life count until I was like twenty
- 18:42Speaker 2: one a point. Would I know? Yeah, if somebody would know.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I mean, donkeys aren't Donkeys and zebras are pretty much
- 18:49Speaker 2: the same, right.
- 18:51Speaker 6: Have like the nice hair?
- 18:52Speaker 2: No, I don't think they have.
- 18:53Speaker 5: Nice Donkeys make the eawsome.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I mean you excuse me.
- 18:57Speaker 1: You know when a.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Donkey makes his a little noise. Zebras eon, Yeah, what
- 19:01Speaker 2: does zebra sound like?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Zebra just does a like a like air it sounds
- 19:06Speaker 1: like it's gargle in his throat, like, look it up?
- 19:09Speaker 6: Does it really?
- 19:10Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:11Speaker 4: I've only seen them at Disney World.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Should we do guess that animals sound with pooh?
- 19:17Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:17Speaker 2: Okay?
- 19:18Speaker 5: What does his zebra sound like like? It does like
- 19:20Speaker 5: a gard It sounds like it's zebra bird? No, it
- 19:23Speaker 5: just it just does like a weird gurgle sound. Is
- 19:26Speaker 5: it bird man?
- 19:27Speaker 7: No?
- 19:29Speaker 2: Okay? So what is a donkey sounding?
- 19:30Speaker 3: Pop?
- 19:33Speaker 7: You know?
- 19:37Speaker 2: Okay? Yeah? All right? When I see zebra, you do zebra?
- 19:40Speaker 2: When I say donkey, do donkey? Okay, zebra donkey. I
- 19:47Speaker 2: don't ever want to hear anybody say who isn't talented? Okay?
- 19:53Speaker 3: Tough stories? Something tense with Billy the Kid in the.
- 19:56Speaker 7: Morning only on the new Mixed one or two.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Point nine Dirty look Secret coming up next? You're ready
- 20:01Speaker 2: for that? It's an emotional one too, is it? You
- 20:04Speaker 2: just wait to hear this. I haven't heard the full store.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I don't like here in the full store, but it
- 20:07Speaker 2: kind of know what's going on a little bit. Yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 2: this woman is going through it with her husband. That's
- 20:13Speaker 2: all also going through it. So Candice, what's going on?
- 20:17Speaker 7: Well?
- 20:17Speaker 4: The votes were counted and this weekend's election. Dart services
- 20:20Speaker 4: will be coming to an end in Highland Park this month,
- 20:22Speaker 4: but will continue in Addison and University Park. So they
- 20:26Speaker 4: had elections over the weekend because of the City of Plano.
- 20:30Speaker 4: So they first announced their intention to leave this alliance,
- 20:33Speaker 4: saying it's tax contributions weren't worth the benefits to residents.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Well Plano Farmers Branch in Irving then had you know,
- 20:40Speaker 4: initially planned elections and then cancel them after they negotiated
- 20:44Speaker 4: their agreements.
- 20:45Speaker 6: So buses will continue.
- 20:46Speaker 4: To operate through Highland Park, but will not stop within
- 20:49Speaker 4: those city limits. That is expected to take effect May fifteenth.
- 20:53Speaker 7: What.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so you can't get the bus in Highland Park.
- 20:56Speaker 6: No, not as of May fifteenth. Yeah, it's gonna go away.
- 21:00Speaker 2: So what if I work somewhere in Highland Park.
- 21:02Speaker 6: Yeah, well you got to figure it out.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Yeah, you're gonna have to go past Highland Park and
- 21:06Speaker 4: then come around some other way take a car.
- 21:08Speaker 6: I don't know how they don't want to.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Work for people, They don't want the buses in Highland Park.
- 21:12Speaker 6: No, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a It's been a hot topic for I
- 21:18Speaker 4: mean pretty much all year. I know the CEO there
- 21:21Speaker 4: was a change there with Dart, but we just had
- 21:24Speaker 4: you know, the new Silver line being built up in
- 21:26Speaker 4: Blano and Richardson area, which is beautiful.
- 21:29Speaker 6: Yeah. So it's you know, city by.
- 21:31Speaker 2: City Okay, you know, no, you could do that. Yeah,
- 21:35Speaker 2: so I live in Carrollton. We could put something on
- 21:37Speaker 2: the books to vote if we don't want buses in
- 21:39Speaker 2: our city.
- 21:40Speaker 6: Yeah, well the Dart service.
- 21:42Speaker 2: The Dart service, right, Okay, so.
- 21:44Speaker 6: Maybe there's another option that they're going to come up with.
- 21:47Speaker 6: Maybe you just can't stop there.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so is it too too poor for well, I
- 21:53Speaker 2: just I just don't like the site of a bus.
- 21:58Speaker 1: A bus is just pover just.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It just looks so I don't know, it's just so
- 22:03Speaker 2: big and it's not even a Mercedes, Like you're just
- 22:08Speaker 2: going to drive this must through our city.
- 22:11Speaker 4: I mean, if you're paying for the taxes for the service,
- 22:14Speaker 4: and then maybe the residents aren't using it, maybe that's
- 22:16Speaker 4: part of the issue.
- 22:18Speaker 6: But I don't live a Highland park.
- 22:20Speaker 2: At least pain Anyways, Cannus, let's talk about McDonald's.
- 22:25Speaker 6: Guys. They are quietly getting rid.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Of their self serve soda fountains. So this plan is
- 22:30Speaker 4: to completely get rid of them by twenty thirty two.
- 22:33Speaker 4: They would be only behind the counter. They're saying this
- 22:37Speaker 4: would help modernize restaurants, reduce maintenance and labor demands, and
- 22:41Speaker 4: also really adapt to the demand for drive through delivery
- 22:44Speaker 4: and takeout.
- 22:45Speaker 2: So, yeah, which one do you want? Do you want
- 22:47Speaker 2: us to have people there or no? Because how am
- 22:49Speaker 2: I going to get a drink freefill? Right?
- 22:50Speaker 4: I'm confused too because my McDonald's has like the you know,
- 22:54Speaker 4: self serve.
- 22:54Speaker 6: Chiosk, Right, so then have to wait to talk to.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Somebody exactly which to guess what. Nobody comes to the
- 22:59Speaker 2: front now if you have self service, So now I
- 23:02Speaker 2: gotta wait. Just let me get my soda, right.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Yeah, they're saying this would also give them more control
- 23:08Speaker 4: over portion sizes, cleanliness, and inventory. So yeah, you can't
- 23:12Speaker 4: take your water cup and just sneak.
- 23:15Speaker 2: No, I've done that my entire life. I've taken it. Literally.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I don't know how McDonald's keeps the lights on because
- 23:20Speaker 2: I've stole so much spry. No, I haven't just kidding.
- 23:26Speaker 2: They just actually Highland Park just announced that they kicked
- 23:28Speaker 2: all McDonald's out of the city. Voted there's no more
- 23:32Speaker 2: McDonald's in Highland Park.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Well, McDonald's also launching six new drinks this week at
- 23:36Speaker 4: some of their locations, so they're getting in on like
- 23:38Speaker 4: the dirty soda trend, so with these refreshers and crafted sodas.
- 23:42Speaker 6: So maybe they're hoping that's more your jam.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Moving forward real quick, guys, Post Malone cancel the start
- 23:48Speaker 4: of his tour. Six shows were part of this, including
- 23:51Speaker 4: his shows in Texas. That tour will now kick off
- 23:54Speaker 4: June twelfth in Indianapolis.
- 23:57Speaker 6: So Post Malone.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Saying he needs more time to finish his double album
- 24:00Speaker 4: before this tour starts. And you know, people are saying
- 24:03Speaker 4: this could have something to do with low ticket sales.
- 24:06Speaker 4: I know some of the shows were offering discounts already
- 24:10Speaker 4: for those tickets.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Well yeah, it also could have something to do with
- 24:14Speaker 2: the fact that life is really expensive right now. Yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 2: and people don't have disposable income for an expensive concert ticket.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I love post No, I do too.
- 24:21Speaker 4: I was really hoping to go down to Waco to
- 24:24Speaker 4: see him, but that show was on a weeknight.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Also, I know, and it's like.
- 24:27Speaker 4: I mean, Waco people would go, but people from Dftoby
- 24:30Speaker 4: are going to drive to Waco on a weeknight.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I can't school.
- 24:34Speaker 2: So no, I think it's a couple of facts. I mean,
- 24:35Speaker 2: I think people want to see posts. But oh yeah,
- 24:37Speaker 2: it's expensive, it's in Waco, it's the same tour. It's
- 24:40Speaker 2: the same tour as went around before. So I don't
- 24:43Speaker 2: think it's a bad thing if you take some time off.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Yeah, he posted those saying, you know, he promises that
- 24:47Speaker 4: new music. He's promised it doesn't have time to finish it.
- 24:51Speaker 4: He's just not ready to tour. So if he pushes
- 24:52Speaker 4: it back three weeks, that'll help get the music done.
- 24:55Speaker 6: So yeah, I'm Ganda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 25:00Speaker 7: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Makes one of two point nine Appealing a kid. Candice
- 25:06Speaker 2: Loan Pens, producer food. Don't forget we're doing at eight thirty.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I still have it down that we're doing tradio radio.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I don't care what kind of obstacle we face with
- 25:13Speaker 2: these requests lines. We're gonna make it happen, don't you worry. Yes,
- 25:16Speaker 2: we have nidos and mystery dumplings to give away, which
- 25:19Speaker 2: people are standing the line for hours and hours for it.
- 25:21Speaker 2: They're going on, it's crazy you want on sale for
- 25:24Speaker 2: hundreds of dollars online? Yeah, it's crazy. These toys everybody wants,
- 25:27Speaker 2: we got them. We're gonna do it all week eight
- 25:28Speaker 2: thirty Tradio Radio. So figure out something you want to trade. Okay, now,
- 25:32Speaker 2: dirty little secrets. Whatever your secret is, you can confess
- 25:35Speaker 2: at eight three three seven eight seven one O two
- 25:37Speaker 2: nine or right now, it's probably best to go to
- 25:39Speaker 2: at MIXWEO two nine FM on Instagram and we could
- 25:41Speaker 2: set it up there because our request lines are down,
- 25:44Speaker 2: but they're being rebuilt by Brad. Who Brad is I
- 25:47Speaker 2: don't know, but he's in our computer. Pooh set got
- 25:50Speaker 2: this who is never sweated so hard in his he's
- 25:53Speaker 2: running around I deserve he deserves Chipotle today, yeah, or
- 25:57Speaker 2: maybe another shot at tequila. I don't know. Right, you've
- 26:00Speaker 2: got a secret, you let us know, and you have one.
- 26:02Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 26:03Speaker 7: I do?
- 26:04Speaker 8: I've been going back and forth on calling you guys,
- 26:07Speaker 8: but I really don't have anyone to talk to about this.
- 26:09Speaker 2: So well, that's what we're here for. It's a non
- 26:12Speaker 2: judgment zone. What is going on in your world?
- 26:14Speaker 8: Well, I've been married, and we've only been married a
- 26:17Speaker 8: couple of years, so it's still pretty new. And from
- 26:21Speaker 8: the beginning, we both wanted the same thing, like a
- 26:23Speaker 8: family with kids, you know, a big house full of noise,
- 26:26Speaker 8: and that was always a part of the plan for
- 26:29Speaker 8: both of us. And because it hadn't worked out that way,
- 26:33Speaker 8: we've been trying and trying and trying, and nothing has happened.
- 26:38Speaker 8: And at first I thought it was me, so I
- 26:41Speaker 8: got tested and I went through all the emotions, like
- 26:44Speaker 8: something's wrong with my body. I'm like broken, I'm something's
- 26:47Speaker 8: not happening right. And then we found out it's not me,
- 26:51Speaker 8: it's him. Oh okay, And I don't even think he
- 26:55Speaker 8: realizes how much that changed everything for me. And I
- 26:57Speaker 8: tried to be supportive and I love him. I love
- 27:00Speaker 8: and so much. And he's a good man, he's a
- 27:02Speaker 8: good husband and it's not his fault. But I feel like,
- 27:06Speaker 8: ever since I found out, like there's this buig weight
- 27:08Speaker 8: on me and I can't shake it. And I've always
- 27:11Speaker 8: pictured myself as a mom. I've always wanted kids. I
- 27:14Speaker 8: wanted that life with my husband, to have my kids
- 27:17Speaker 8: in my house, and so it's just like this can't
- 27:22Speaker 8: happen now.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I'm there. I know it's a lot of emotions, but
- 27:26Speaker 2: and I'm not saying this is the same, but I
- 27:29Speaker 2: know there's other you know, there's adoption, there's other things
- 27:31Speaker 2: that you could do.
- 27:34Speaker 8: My friends, Yes, I mean we've discussed adoption. I'm not
- 27:38Speaker 8: against it. I'm not.
- 27:39Speaker 4: But if I'm being.
- 27:40Speaker 8: Completely honest, I don't know if I'll feel the same way. Yeah,
- 27:44Speaker 8: And I feel awful saying that, but that's how I feel,
- 27:47Speaker 8: and I can't deny that I feel that way. And
- 27:50Speaker 8: this is a part of like what makes me feel
- 27:53Speaker 8: like I might be the worst wife in the world
- 27:55Speaker 8: or worst person in the world. And I just know
- 27:58Speaker 8: that I know myself and i'd be if like if
- 28:01Speaker 8: I say this is okay, because like I said, this
- 28:04Speaker 8: has always been my dream. And I have thought about
- 28:08Speaker 8: leaving him. Oh and I haven't said it, and I
- 28:13Speaker 8: haven't even come close because I love him and it's
- 28:15Speaker 8: like not his fault, but it's crossed my mind that
- 28:18Speaker 8: maybe I should move on. But I'm like, hold on,
- 28:21Speaker 8: hold on.
- 28:21Speaker 2: So you're thinking about actually lead, okay, and I'm not
- 28:25Speaker 2: it's a non judgment zone. You're thinking about leaving him over.
- 28:29Speaker 8: This, Well, I do want to have kids of my own,
- 28:32Speaker 8: and I don't know what else to do because I
- 28:35Speaker 8: do love him and I love the life that we're
- 28:37Speaker 8: building together, but it's not working out, and I just
- 28:41Speaker 8: feel like it's flipping away what I wanted.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I mean, is it not working out? Or is this
- 28:48Speaker 2: the plan? The bigger plan that you know? Sometimes you
- 28:51Speaker 2: just can't control these things. And obviously it's not his fault.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I can't tell you what's right or wrong. There's a
- 28:56Speaker 2: difference between going, oh, you know what, I can't. I
- 28:59Speaker 2: can't say that has never crossed my mind and I'm
- 29:03Speaker 2: actually going to do this. Yeah, there's two different things.
- 29:06Speaker 2: So I mean, I guess it just depends on you.
- 29:08Speaker 2: If you love them. I just feel like there's no
- 29:11Speaker 2: way you can leave them over this.
- 29:13Speaker 8: I don't feel like I can leave them either. But
- 29:15Speaker 8: I'm just like hurting myself, and I'm like, how do
- 29:17Speaker 8: I agree without hurting him? I'm keeping everything to myself.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Have you two talked about but maybe possibly doing counseling
- 29:24Speaker 2: or something like that together, because this is a big deal.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't hold it inside, But also sharing that
- 29:29Speaker 4: with him is going to just break his heart.
- 29:31Speaker 6: Even worse.
- 29:32Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess we will have to go to counseling
- 29:35Speaker 8: because I don't know what to do from here, because
- 29:37Speaker 8: I'm just questioning everything and feeling like a terrible person because.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Think about it, you leave. Let's say you know you've
- 29:43Speaker 2: thought about it, you leave him, you get with somebody else,
- 29:46Speaker 2: you have kids, you think years down the road, you're
- 29:49Speaker 2: not going to look back and go. I mean, yeah,
- 29:51Speaker 2: I'm glad i'm a mom, but I can't believe I
- 29:53Speaker 2: left a man that I love right and love because
- 29:57Speaker 2: of something that he can't control.
- 29:59Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 2: If these were switched around and it was a man
- 30:03Speaker 2: calling up and saying I'm leaving my wife because she
- 30:05Speaker 2: can't have kids, I think people would be in an
- 30:07Speaker 2: uproar and everybody feels different now that you're saying it, right,
- 30:12Speaker 2: And I don't think you're a bad person. I'm just
- 30:14Speaker 2: saying I would really talk to somebody before you let
- 30:17Speaker 2: that thought get out of control or take over reason.
- 30:19Speaker 4: I mean to process you'r how you're feeling before you
- 30:22Speaker 4: just jump and make some type of decision that you
- 30:24Speaker 4: can't turn back.
- 30:26Speaker 2: You know, because he's going through all this too, Yeah,
- 30:29Speaker 2: he probably feels so guilty and emasculated, like you know,
- 30:33Speaker 2: it's just horrible.
- 30:34Speaker 8: I wish the things were different, but they're not. So
- 30:37Speaker 8: I have to just face what we have going on.
- 30:40Speaker 4: Well, and some people would be, you know, take the
- 30:43Speaker 4: route of this just wasn't meant to be.
- 30:44Speaker 6: It wasn't meant for me to have kids.
- 30:47Speaker 4: You know.
- 30:47Speaker 6: It's a tough pill.
- 30:48Speaker 4: To swallow, it is when you've dreamed of that.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I know so many people, So many people go,
- 30:54Speaker 2: especially women, They feel like their main reason they're here
- 30:59Speaker 2: is to a mom. So if that can't happen, I
- 31:02Speaker 2: get why you feel like there's a big part of you.
- 31:04Speaker 6: Missing for sure, But you definitely can't. You guys can't
- 31:07Speaker 6: work through this on your own.
- 31:09Speaker 4: I would definitely seek professional help do that.
- 31:12Speaker 8: Thank you, thank you so much.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Good luck with everything and let us know what happens
- 31:17Speaker 2: and hang in there.
- 31:18Speaker 8: Okay, okay, thank you so much.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Welcome. I told you it's deep, Yeah, really deep. I know.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Hopefully they talk to someone. Yeah, that's why I love
- 31:27Speaker 2: dirty little Secretly. You just never know what you're gonna get.
- 31:30Speaker 2: So but I just feel her pain and I feel
- 31:32Speaker 2: his pain. He's gonna get on the phone, you know, all.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Right, he's going for Cans Court. It gets settled here
- 31:41Speaker 3: with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 31:43Speaker 2: All rise for the Honorable Judge Cannie Slow Paz in
- 31:46Speaker 2: the studio right now. I'm sorry on the bench. Yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 2: as we speak, it's mixed one or two point nine.
- 31:51Speaker 2: All right, Nidos Nidos Mystery Dumplings on the way. We'll
- 31:54Speaker 2: do it at eight thirty. We're doing it no matter what. Yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 2: we're doing it, whether the request lines are working, whether
- 31:58Speaker 2: I have to do it by mess your pigeon. Everybody
- 32:01Speaker 2: wants these toys, We'll do it. We're doing tradio radio.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Figure out something you want to trade. Get ready? We
- 32:05Speaker 2: got to do it on Instagram. If I gotta go
- 32:07Speaker 2: live on the toll way in my underwear. Oh okay,
- 32:10Speaker 2: that's unnecessary. I didn't do that.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Sorry, I didn't even expect that.
- 32:16Speaker 2: The line somewhere, Yeah, you've got an issue at Candas
- 32:18Speaker 2: on air, At Candas on air on Instagram. Okay. This
- 32:21Speaker 2: year I volunteered to coach my son's youth soccer team,
- 32:24Speaker 2: and all season I've been careful not to show him
- 32:27Speaker 2: any favoritism. He's a solid player and usually starts, but
- 32:32Speaker 2: I've always made it a point to treat him like
- 32:34Speaker 2: any other kid. We just had a big playoff game,
- 32:37Speaker 2: and it decided to bench him for most of it
- 32:39Speaker 2: because I didn't want anyone thinking I was giving him
- 32:42Speaker 2: special treatment. We ended up losing, and he played only
- 32:47Speaker 2: for a few minutes. I could tell he was upset.
- 32:50Speaker 2: But my wife is furious and says I overcorrected to
- 32:54Speaker 2: the point where I actually hurt our son just to
- 32:57Speaker 2: prove a point to other parents. I thought I was
- 33:01Speaker 2: doing the right thing by being extra fair, but now
- 33:03Speaker 2: I'm second guessing it. We're in a big fight about it.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I go too far. Question mark question mark, question mark.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Oh okay, So he's the coach, which is never easy. Yeah,
- 33:16Speaker 2: when your kid plays. That's why daddy ball they call it,
- 33:20Speaker 2: because usually the coach's kids sometimes play a little too much.
- 33:24Speaker 2: In this case, he overcorrected and he benched his kid
- 33:28Speaker 2: because he's like, I don't want to show favoritism, so
- 33:31Speaker 2: he benched him, probably more than he should have. Candice,
- 33:33Speaker 2: what are your initial thoughts.
- 33:35Speaker 6: I mean, you benched him for most of a playoff game.
- 33:37Speaker 6: We let alone play for a few minutes. I don't
- 33:40Speaker 6: understand that.
- 33:41Speaker 4: You know, now the kid's upset, the wife's upset. How
- 33:45Speaker 4: is everyone else feeling? Because I just feel like there's
- 33:48Speaker 4: fair and then there's extra fair. And why are you
- 33:50Speaker 4: be an extra a fair during.
- 33:52Speaker 6: A playoff game?
- 33:53Speaker 2: Well, you're worried about the way you look when all
- 33:55Speaker 2: you have to do is do the right thing right,
- 33:57Speaker 2: no matter how you look, meaning play like any other
- 34:00Speaker 2: normal game. Play all the kids equally.
- 34:03Speaker 6: If you're always fair, Just continue to be equally as fair.
- 34:06Speaker 2: As you always are, Like you don't have to sit
- 34:08Speaker 2: your son on the bench for the entire game or
- 34:10Speaker 2: extra just to prove a point. Play him as much
- 34:13Speaker 2: as you usually do. You know what if it's if
- 34:16Speaker 2: it's little league or whatever, pee we play all the
- 34:19Speaker 2: kids equally.
- 34:20Speaker 6: Yeah, you just rotate them for sure.
- 34:22Speaker 4: I mean we're all here trying to learn and play
- 34:24Speaker 4: and be a team.
- 34:25Speaker 7: You know.
- 34:26Speaker 2: That's like, Yeah, I coach baseball back in the day,
- 34:29Speaker 2: and that's what you did. Everybody got a fair turn.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Oh you sit out this inning, next inning, you sit out, No,
- 34:37Speaker 2: and that's why y'all lose.
- 34:38Speaker 1: No, I don't want to be.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Won championship when I coach, But go ahead.
- 34:42Speaker 5: Okay, listen, The problem is nowadays this everybody gets a turn.
- 34:47Speaker 1: That's the problem with like sports.
- 34:49Speaker 5: I don't like when I was growing up and you
- 34:51Speaker 5: and you play soccer, football, whatever, they put the good
- 34:54Speaker 5: people in because you want to win. But we're talking
- 34:57Speaker 5: pee wee, we're talking.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Understand that. But that's what you mean. Tell me in
- 35:01Speaker 2: little league or whatever. Let's say it's baseball, because I
- 35:03Speaker 2: never really played soccer. Right, Let's say it's baseball. So
- 35:06Speaker 2: if the kid's not that good, he should just ride
- 35:08Speaker 2: the bench the entire time, not just not necessarily riding
- 35:11Speaker 2: the bench. But that's what you're saying.
- 35:13Speaker 5: But but here's the deal. When when you were first
- 35:16Speaker 5: doing the like the pool of getting your players, I
- 35:19Speaker 5: pick out the ones I know they're gonna do something
- 35:21Speaker 5: on my team. I don't want to You're the coach.
- 35:24Speaker 5: I coached soccer one time. Okay, yeah, I played all
- 35:28Speaker 5: the good kids there was there was what a bad Yeah,
- 35:31Speaker 5: I ain't gonna to you.
- 35:32Speaker 1: There's not a bat.
- 35:33Speaker 5: Listen, Nowadays, everybody coddles these kids. Everybody gets to turn
- 35:37Speaker 5: a participation in trophy.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I want to win something.
- 35:40Speaker 4: About well, we want to win too, but we want
- 35:42Speaker 4: our kid to learn and play and have a good time.
- 35:44Speaker 6: Like this is if he's a volunteer coach. It's not
- 35:46Speaker 6: that serious.
- 35:47Speaker 1: It's not that serious. Okay, I wouldn't I wouldn't have
- 35:50Speaker 1: done that.
- 35:51Speaker 2: So let me say this. So if you're coaching soccer
- 35:54Speaker 2: and you know, let's say a little timmy who has
- 35:56Speaker 2: two left feet, you know you can barely run, you're
- 36:00Speaker 2: gonna he's gonna be on the bench the entire game.
- 36:02Speaker 5: Not the entire game, maybe like the last few minutes
- 36:05Speaker 5: after we after we done murdered that team.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Yeah, then I put a little tea. It's a playoff game.
- 36:10Speaker 1: I want to win.
- 36:11Speaker 5: Like even listen, listen even choir dude nowadays? Yeah, yes,
- 36:17Speaker 5: because kids nowadays, everybody everybody just participates.
- 36:21Speaker 2: What about choir? What's okay?
- 36:23Speaker 5: So yeah, but I had the same argue with my
- 36:27Speaker 5: baby mama, like, ch I don't want my son in
- 36:29Speaker 5: choir because my son really can't he really can't sing,
- 36:32Speaker 5: Like why are you in choir?
- 36:35Speaker 1: Choir is for people who can sing? Why why try out?
- 36:40Speaker 2: Because that's what being a kid is all about. To talent,
- 36:43Speaker 2: there's too much to me. There's kids that you want
- 36:46Speaker 2: to try, things, you want to do, things you want
- 36:47Speaker 2: to see what you're passionate about, and that's the point.
- 36:50Speaker 2: And if it's not the best, then this is the
- 36:52Speaker 2: time in life you can mess up and go Okay,
- 36:54Speaker 2: if that wasn't maybe my favorite thing. Or it's also
- 36:56Speaker 2: a time where he learns how to get better and
- 36:58Speaker 2: can sing and capitalize on his vocal talent. Where you
- 37:01Speaker 2: can learn to sing. Okay, how about learn to play
- 37:05Speaker 2: before you try out.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Your sports team.
- 37:10Speaker 1: That's a life lesson.
- 37:11Speaker 5: Like if I'm good at my job and you're not
- 37:13Speaker 5: good at your job, you ain't gonna get the same job.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Well, you know what I mean. We're not talking about
- 37:17Speaker 2: the job. We're talking about kids learning sports.
- 37:19Speaker 5: I'm saying that that's how that reflects in the future. Jeez,
- 37:23Speaker 5: I'm real competitive.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I want to win, but I'm very competitive as well.
- 37:29Speaker 2: But when you're teaching kids, you're teaching that. Yeah it
- 37:32Speaker 2: winning is a part of it, but it's not the
- 37:34Speaker 2: most important part at this age. Yeah right, I mean
- 37:37Speaker 2: there's life skills that you're teaching these kids. It's about
- 37:40Speaker 2: learning how to work as a team.
- 37:41Speaker 4: If we just spend every bench, every kid who doesn't
- 37:44Speaker 4: have the quote unquote talent as a you know who
- 37:46Speaker 4: knows they're probably under ten. You're saying youth sports are
- 37:48Speaker 4: probably under ten. They're gonna be bench their whole life
- 37:50Speaker 4: and never know what they can do.
- 37:52Speaker 2: You're gonna take this kid and its little Timmy is
- 37:54Speaker 2: gonna hate soccer now because you don't put them in
- 37:57Speaker 2: until the last thirty seconds of the game.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Well, little Timmy canice on his own while we're winning.
- 38:02Speaker 6: But if I'm paying you to be on this team,
- 38:05Speaker 6: I need you to teach my kid.
- 38:06Speaker 4: I need my kid to have some experience versus riding
- 38:09Speaker 4: the bench all season because he's not good.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Maybe he does practice and he's just trying to run,
- 38:13Speaker 2: but he's still come on.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean when my kids.
- 38:15Speaker 5: Listen, when my kids played football, sometimes they didn't get
- 38:19Speaker 5: they didn't get.
- 38:19Speaker 1: To start, but they went home to practice or whatever.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Then the coach played them at the end of the
- 38:25Speaker 5: game and I was like, what, coach, what do we
- 38:27Speaker 5: gotta do to you know, to start? He was like,
- 38:29Speaker 5: I just need him to work on this, this, this
- 38:31Speaker 5: and that, and then guess what, he turned it around.
- 38:33Speaker 5: The next year he started you see what I'm saying,
- 38:36Speaker 5: and we won.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Now Brendan is good.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I do see and that's important part of it.
- 38:41Speaker 2: But until the meantime, did you expect me to play
- 38:44Speaker 2: when he wasn't quote unquote good, No, you didn't expect
- 38:47Speaker 2: him to play.
- 38:48Speaker 5: No, I don't get I don't I don't deal with that.
- 38:50Speaker 5: So he his mom was like, that's not fair. I'm like, no,
- 38:54Speaker 5: he needs to work at his craft, get back there,
- 38:56Speaker 5: come back next year.
- 38:57Speaker 2: It's not the NFL to me, it is.
- 39:01Speaker 4: I'm just like that coding youth sports for so many reasons.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Not just this, but letting everybody get a turn. Okay,
- 39:09Speaker 2: yeah when they're little, well they're little. Yeah, all right,
- 39:12Speaker 2: we're not gonna agree. It doesn't matter what we think.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Cannas Court. You you're the judge. Yeah, you're the only
- 39:18Speaker 2: saying one in this room.
- 39:19Speaker 4: That's a totally different topic than we're talking about this
- 39:21Speaker 4: Candis Court. But for for this case, look, I think
- 39:23Speaker 4: this guy was guilty of being a sideline.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Sam.
- 39:27Speaker 6: It can't It's not fair to let your kid only
- 39:30Speaker 6: play a few minutes. Don't be extra fair. Just be
- 39:32Speaker 6: as fair as you've been all season.
- 39:34Speaker 4: You sound like a reasonable person, and I respect that
- 39:36Speaker 4: you're trying to be fair and make an impression on
- 39:38Speaker 4: the other parents.
- 39:39Speaker 6: So let them know that everybody's gonna get to play.
- 39:42Speaker 6: But we lost because of you know.
- 39:44Speaker 2: You're being an extra fair I would agree, all right,
- 39:46Speaker 2: he's guilty of being a sideline Sam Billy.
- 39:49Speaker 3: That's it's tough. Stories on the tents with Billy the
- 39:54Speaker 3: Kid in the.
- 39:54Speaker 7: Morning only on the new Mixed one or two point nine.
- 39:57Speaker 2: You got a lot going on this morning at Nidos
- 40:00Speaker 2: and Mystery Dumplings. Everybody wants those. We're doing them an
- 40:02Speaker 2: eight thirty no matter what. Hey, yeah, we're gonna do
- 40:04Speaker 2: a little tradio radio either way, that don't happen eight
- 40:07Speaker 2: to thirty. Everybody wants these toys. People stand in line
- 40:09Speaker 2: for hours. We're doing this all week long, so hook
- 40:12Speaker 2: that up. Candice Lofes, what is going on?
- 40:14Speaker 4: Well, Forny id is part of a multi agency investigation
- 40:18Speaker 4: stemming from misconduct allegation. So this is happening at Crosby
- 40:21Speaker 4: Elementary School. The principal, a teacher, and a number of teachers'
- 40:26Speaker 4: aides were let go and will not be returning. So
- 40:29Speaker 4: the district is saying that the teacher in question was
- 40:31Speaker 4: hired back in October under a name with a clean
- 40:34Speaker 4: background check. But they later learned that he had legally
- 40:37Speaker 4: changed his name before being hired by forty ISD. He
- 40:41Speaker 4: was facing charges under that previous name.
- 40:45Speaker 6: Now he was acquitted of those.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Charges in that case, but one parent is saying that
- 40:48Speaker 4: that's because the child involved was nonverbal and that family
- 40:52Speaker 4: later moved away and never testified.
- 40:55Speaker 6: But this is all under.
- 40:56Speaker 4: Investigation by forty police, CPS, and the state. They haven't
- 41:01Speaker 4: released specific details, but families involved have been contacted directly.
- 41:05Speaker 4: But I'm hearing that it could be up to nine
- 41:07Speaker 4: students that were involved.
- 41:09Speaker 6: I believe this was a first grade special ed teacher.
- 41:13Speaker 4: There were aids and other staff who possibly witnessed the misconduct.
- 41:17Speaker 4: It didn't report it immediately and that's why they were
- 41:20Speaker 4: removed over the weekend.
- 41:22Speaker 6: Yeah, just a developing.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Story there, but it's just really disheartening, really infuriating for
- 41:27Speaker 4: parents and families of course, but we don't.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Know what the misconduct was just yet, right, All right, Well,
- 41:31Speaker 2: you know what you deserve a special place, you know
- 41:34Speaker 2: where if you mess with kids?
- 41:35Speaker 6: Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 41:37Speaker 4: We got to protect our kids. So I'll keep you
- 41:39Speaker 4: posted on any developments. Also, Spirit Airlines shut down services
- 41:43Speaker 4: Saturday morning at abruptly canceled service. Seventeen thousand workers did
- 41:49Speaker 4: lose their jobs. That's unfortunate, but people are left stranded,
- 41:52Speaker 4: you know, book these flights and then suddenly the airline
- 41:55Speaker 4: doesn't exist.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Happen to my friend literally in New Orleans, first time
- 41:58Speaker 2: he's ever booked ever Spirit because our other friend was like,
- 42:01Speaker 2: do it never let me down, which he's a liar
- 42:04Speaker 2: because it's let me down and let me down. Yeah,
- 42:07Speaker 2: he's in New Orleans. All of a sudden, he gets
- 42:08Speaker 2: a little on message like, oh, by the way, we're
- 42:10Speaker 2: out of business. Good luck at home, right, that's awful. Yeah,
- 42:13Speaker 2: I mean, and I do feel bad for everyone losing
- 42:15Speaker 2: their jobs, but I'm sorry, I don't care if they've
- 42:18Speaker 2: never had a crash. Somebody said, well they've never had
- 42:20Speaker 2: a crash, Okay, we shouldn't. I'm sorry. Yeah, that should
- 42:23Speaker 2: be for all airlines they I had the worst experience
- 42:26Speaker 2: on Spirit ever, I mean the worst. The person talked
- 42:29Speaker 2: to me like I was an idiot. Oh, it's the
- 42:32Speaker 2: rude I mean rude. Yeah, so you know, listen, I mean,
- 42:38Speaker 2: there's a reason you can get sixty dollars flights. Yeah,
- 42:42Speaker 2: and it's not paying off and the model's not working.
- 42:44Speaker 6: Yeah, definitely not.
- 42:45Speaker 4: I mean, as of May twenty twenty four, they operated
- 42:48Speaker 4: just over three percent of domestic flights, and this month
- 42:51Speaker 4: that number could be.
- 42:52Speaker 6: As low as one percent. And now obviously zero zero.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Yeah, there's this whole movement online though, for Americans to
- 42:58Speaker 4: buy the airline.
- 43:00Speaker 6: Did you see this? Let's buy Spirit air dot com.
- 43:04Speaker 4: They're saying the website right, the website crash because so
- 43:07Speaker 4: many people were on there, So pledges are down.
- 43:09Speaker 6: At the moment.
- 43:10Speaker 4: But they say there's been eighty eight million dollars pledged already,
- 43:13Speaker 4: which I'm finally hard to believe.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Wait, do that with something that really matters like right
- 43:17Speaker 2: world hunger here, homelessness or yeah, veterans, not Spirit Airlines.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Like I said, I feel bad for anyone who lost
- 43:24Speaker 2: their job. I really do.
- 43:25Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah I do too.
- 43:27Speaker 7: What.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Yeah, it's nice to see the other airlines stepping up
- 43:30Speaker 4: to and you know, offering to help.
- 43:31Speaker 6: So uh yeah, don't see that coming back.
- 43:34Speaker 4: But you know, stranger things have happened real quick, guys.
- 43:37Speaker 4: Tonight is the met Gala. It happens the first Monday
- 43:40Speaker 4: in May every year at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
- 43:44Speaker 6: The theme this year is costume art. The dress code
- 43:47Speaker 6: is fashion is Art. Yeah.
- 43:49Speaker 4: Co chairs this year Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Anna Wintour, and
- 43:52Speaker 4: Venus william So this is really a high profile fundraiser
- 43:56Speaker 4: slash fashion show. The red carpet is going to be
- 43:59Speaker 4: stacked those Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Mary Kate, Nashley Olsen,
- 44:04Speaker 4: some of the cast members of K Pop Demon Hunters
- 44:06Speaker 4: are expected to be on that carpet, as well as
- 44:08Speaker 4: Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitt.
- 44:10Speaker 2: It's just Halloween for rich people. Yeah, it's Halloween for
- 44:14Speaker 2: rich people. I'm not gonna get negative on it because
- 44:16Speaker 2: somebody was like, Billy's stop being grumpy today.
- 44:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:19Speaker 6: Maybe it's a lot of money for that's.

- 44:26Speaker 6: So you're not going to be watching the live stream tonight.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. I'd rather watch poo take

- 44:35Speaker 6: Not that's going on tonight.
- 44:37Speaker 2: I can tell you the bubble bath.

- 46:47Speaker 2: My gosh, I'm trying not to be frustrated. I'm really
- 46:51Speaker 2: trying not to. We do a live show that we

- 46:56Speaker 2: worked for months? Nothing's the one day. I'm like, this
- 47:00Speaker 2: is it. We're gonna do tradio radio. Not one line
- 47:03Speaker 2: is working? Yeah, you want should I give out who's
- 47:05Speaker 2: cell phone number?
- 47:06Speaker 7: I mean.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, So this is what we're gonna do.
- 47:11Speaker 2: You know what I could see here? I could complain
- 47:12Speaker 2: all day, but the bottom line is it's not gonna
- 47:15Speaker 2: fix anything.
- 47:15Speaker 6: There's a human in the next room, though, that's what news. Yeah,
- 47:18Speaker 6: if you want a remote worker.

- 48:38Speaker 2: At Mix one O two nine FM, I did get
- 48:41Speaker 2: one for I have a big wheel. Somebody said they
- 48:43Speaker 2: have a big wheel. Oh that's interesting. I like the
- 48:46Speaker 2: idea of a big wheel.
- 48:48Speaker 3: What is that.
- 48:48Speaker 2: We have a big wheel. We have two three wheel bikes,
- 48:51Speaker 2: you know. Oh, okay, what do we really need?
- 48:54Speaker 4: Can this yeah, well, we mentioned on Instagram over the weekend.

- 49:11Speaker 2: Oh, let me ask you?
- 49:12Speaker 6: Do I have to split it?
- 49:13Speaker 2: An hour and a half long massage? Is that for
- 49:16Speaker 2: all three of us? Or do we have to share?
- 49:18Speaker 2: There would be about thirty minutes. You know what, I
- 49:20Speaker 2: don't like massages. I hate massages.
- 49:22Speaker 6: Your thirty minutes?
- 49:24Speaker 2: Do you want my thirty minutes?
- 49:25Speaker 6: Yeah, give me your thirty minutes.
- 49:27Speaker 2: But what do I get out of this?
- 49:28Speaker 6: You get to I don't know. You get to be
- 49:31Speaker 6: how quiet time by yourself in the other room.
- 49:33Speaker 2: I think I'd rather have a copy bar. All right,
- 49:37Speaker 2: thank you.
- 49:38Speaker 6: Rachel wants to trade her Stanley Stanley.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Yes, we have fourteen of them over here. Kenna says

- 50:01Speaker 2: Fresh homemade to Molly's. It depends on where can we
- 50:05Speaker 2: get them? Like, let me see, let me see where
- 50:06Speaker 2: she's from, because I don't trust everybody's cooking. Hold on,
- 50:09Speaker 2: let me type back. Do you have cats?
- 50:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 50:11Speaker 2: Because cats cats? Do you have cats to Molly's for sure? No,
- 50:17Speaker 2: she's typing dots. No, she does not have cats. Okay, okay.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Oh and she's from Grand Prairie, oh GP. Yeah, okay,
- 50:28Speaker 2: that's what we got so far. At Mix one nine FM,
- 50:31Speaker 2: we're doing tradio radio our way online. Can you got
- 50:34Speaker 2: something else coming in?
- 50:35Speaker 6: They're coming in the other account. This person said, I
- 50:38Speaker 6: can trade a brand new kids bike.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't want to teach you, I know.
- 50:44Speaker 6: This person said, I'll give you my house. Matthew, What
- 50:46Speaker 6: are you doing, Matthew?

- 51:04Speaker 2: bailing a kid. Candice Lopez is your producer. Poo is here.
- 51:07Speaker 2: We are giving away needos and mystery dumplings, doing tradio radio.
- 51:10Speaker 2: But of course none of the request lines are working
- 51:13Speaker 2: on the one day where we need them to work
- 51:15Speaker 2: because Pooh's in charge of the request lines. Literally since
- 51:20Speaker 2: five thirty am, we've been trying to get the request
- 51:23Speaker 2: lines to work, and we don't know what's going on.
- 51:25Speaker 2: So but we're not we're not stopping. No, we're giving
- 51:28Speaker 2: these away no matter what before the end of the show.
- 51:30Speaker 2: We've just had to pivot, as they would say in
- 51:31Speaker 2: corporate America, We've had to pivot. We'll circle back. Tradio Radio,
- 51:37Speaker 2: What would you trade us for these needos and these
- 51:40Speaker 2: mystery dumplings that everybody wants? Tradio Radio is on and
- 51:43Speaker 2: some good ones coming in at Mix one of two
- 51:45Speaker 2: nine FM on Instagram at Mix one of two nine FM.
- 51:48Speaker 2: You know what, somebody could probably win if they trade me,
- 51:50Speaker 2: because I would be heavily INFLUENCD in a bottle of
- 51:52Speaker 2: tequila right now because I'm telling you what I needed
- 51:55Speaker 2: after today. Oh right, I think Pooh needs it too.
- 52:00Speaker 6: Yes, I do I need it too. Just pass it over, Jannis.
- 52:03Speaker 2: What is coming in? Because we've had it so far?
- 52:05Speaker 2: What are those things called a kapy bara?
- 52:06Speaker 6: A kapy bara?
- 52:08Speaker 2: Somebody wants to trade us that? Yeah, I don't know
- 52:10Speaker 2: if I can do any more live animals. We've got
- 52:11Speaker 2: a goat last time.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Well, Iris says she has a chicken, so we can
- 52:14Speaker 4: have fresh eggs every day for the hard little breakfast
- 52:17Speaker 4: that you guys can't.
- 52:18Speaker 6: Stand the smell of.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Well, you know what a chicken. I don't know.
- 52:20Speaker 6: That's a strong contender. I've wanted a chicken for a
- 52:23Speaker 6: long time.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Can I have a pet chicken? And Carrollton?
- 52:25Speaker 7: I mean no, but just do it.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, who's going to keep the chicken?
- 52:29Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 52:29Speaker 2: Well are you keeping the chicken?
- 52:31Speaker 7: Bit?
- 52:31Speaker 2: Yeah? Who lives in an apartment? So that's Oh the
- 52:34Speaker 2: chicken might be a finalist so far.
- 52:36Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean.
- 52:37Speaker 4: Kevin says he'll put gas in our cars for us.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Oh wow, Kevin, Yeah, that's good seven dollars.
- 52:43Speaker 4: Oh yeah, planing offers for people to cook for us
- 52:46Speaker 4: for Nonda says she will make Brazilian food. We got
- 52:48Speaker 4: an offer for someone to make gumbo for us.
- 52:51Speaker 6: Okay, to trade their kids.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Somebody offered to trade their kids.
- 52:55Speaker 6: But then you don't need the need if you're a kid.
- 52:58Speaker 2: If you trade your kid, then.
- 52:59Speaker 4: What do you We didn't even need it for unless
- 53:01Speaker 4: they're just gonna do chores housework for us, Okay, anything
- 53:04Speaker 4: else that we got. Cassandra has a power tool that
- 53:07Speaker 4: accidentally got delivered to her house.
- 53:08Speaker 6: She says it's pretty expensive. Apparently she doesn't know what
- 53:11Speaker 6: it is.
- 53:12Speaker 4: A power Yeah, a mystery power tool for a mystery dumpling.
- 53:17Speaker 2: That might be a good see. I do like a
- 53:19Speaker 2: good mystery box. And sure you know we have to
- 53:21Speaker 2: guess what's in there. And it's a mystery for us.
- 53:23Speaker 6: That is good.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Okay, a mystery power tool. Well, she's not gonna send
- 53:27Speaker 2: it back.
- 53:27Speaker 6: I don't think so. Oh, she's living a lawless She's
- 53:30Speaker 6: waiting to see if we want it before she sends
- 53:32Speaker 6: it back. I didn't hear, didn't see anything, nothing to
- 53:35Speaker 6: see here.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Don't know what it is though. Yeah, all right, we're
- 53:37Speaker 2: gonna pick somebody. But for the show at Mikes one
- 53:39Speaker 2: of two nine FM at Mix one O two nine FM.
- 53:42Speaker 2: I'm trying to think about something that would really get
- 53:44Speaker 2: us right. Because the chicken is good. I think the
- 53:47Speaker 2: chicken so far is in the lead.
- 53:48Speaker 4: That's the most useful option for us right now, because
- 53:51Speaker 4: we do eat a lot of hardbleled eggs.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Era, because we don't need it. We don't need expensive,
- 53:55Speaker 2: we need interesting, unique, We need unique. We need something functional,
- 53:59Speaker 2: something different that would make for good content moving forward,
- 54:02Speaker 2: because Candace would have to take care of this chicken.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Do you have a chicken coop? Candace?
- 54:06Speaker 7: No?
- 54:07Speaker 6: Well does it come with the chicken coop? Iris? Let
- 54:10Speaker 6: me know.
- 54:11Speaker 2: A one. Sure, where do you think you're gonna keep
- 54:14Speaker 2: the chicken?
- 54:15Speaker 6: I mean in my backyard?
- 54:16Speaker 7: Do you?
- 54:17Speaker 4: I got a pretty big backyard, and my neighbors have
- 54:19Speaker 4: low ki chickens. They're not supposed to.
- 54:21Speaker 2: So wait, you're not supposed to have chickens.
- 54:24Speaker 4: One of those people that do someone in our neighborhood
- 54:26Speaker 4: as a peacock.
- 54:27Speaker 6: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Now you know what I would want? A duck? You
- 54:32Speaker 2: would I would love to have a pet duck. I
- 54:34Speaker 2: wanted a duck for years. Oh you don't like goose geese?
- 54:38Speaker 4: No, no golf lessons, David says he'll give us golf lessons.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Okay, that's pretty good, David, Yeah that is. I don't know.
- 54:45Speaker 2: You've probably quit after one time with us once you
- 54:49Speaker 2: see poohs swing Okay, all right? At Mix one of
- 54:53Speaker 2: two nine FM. At Mix one of two nine FM,
- 54:55Speaker 2: trade us right now for these needles and mystery dumplings.
- 55:00Speaker 3: With Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 55:02Speaker 7: Only one or two point.
- 55:05Speaker 2: But we're giving away these needles every day, nidos and
- 55:07Speaker 2: mystery dumplings every day. People want them so bad. We're
- 55:10Speaker 2: doing tradio radio. So what will you trade at Mix
- 55:12Speaker 2: one of two nine AM today. We're doing it on
- 55:14Speaker 2: Instagram because our phones are going crazy. But yeah at
- 55:17Speaker 2: Mix one of two nine FM. But CANDUs before you
- 55:19Speaker 2: do text to stop stories. Some of the good, good
- 55:21Speaker 2: trades are coming in round of golf at Pecan Hollow
- 55:24Speaker 2: with me. Oh I think that's Rye Boosy his name is.
- 55:29Speaker 2: That could be good.
- 55:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 55:30Speaker 5: Uh.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Arianna said she would trade her brother, Oh, Liz bones.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Liz said, signed MAVs player jersey from Sean Marion. Oh
- 55:41Speaker 2: like that, Stephanie said, free tickets to plant Bingo hosted
- 55:45Speaker 2: by Social Greenhouse.
- 55:47Speaker 6: Oh that sounds fun. I'm talking about playing bingo.
- 55:49Speaker 2: You know what's funny is I knew I knew cats
- 55:52Speaker 2: was gonna get today's plant Bingo. Elizabeth said that she
- 55:57Speaker 2: would trade the penny her daughter swallowed. It's the most
- 56:01Speaker 2: expensive penny ever. Okay, so they must have got it
- 56:04Speaker 2: out we could have.
- 56:05Speaker 6: That twenty thousand dollars. She said it costs what yeah, yeah,
- 56:10Speaker 6: to get it out.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Can't you just I don't know.
- 56:13Speaker 6: She must have had some kind of procedure.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Wow, okay, well, you know what, we'll put that in
- 56:17Speaker 2: the running. We'll pick it before the show's over. So
- 56:19Speaker 2: you got time at Mix one of two nine FM
- 56:22Speaker 2: on Instagram at Mix one of two nine FM cannice.
- 56:24Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 56:24Speaker 4: Well, the votes were counted in this weekend's election. Dart
- 56:27Speaker 4: services will be coming to an end in Highland Park
- 56:30Speaker 4: this month. They will continue in Addison and University Park.
- 56:34Speaker 4: So you know, Plano announced their intention to leave this alliance,
- 56:38Speaker 4: saying it's tax contributions weren't worth the benefits to residents.
- 56:41Speaker 6: Well, Plano, Farmers Branch and Irving.
- 56:43Speaker 4: Initially had those elections planned, but canceled them after renegotiating
- 56:48Speaker 4: their agreements.
- 56:49Speaker 6: Highland Park, though voting not to continue.
- 56:52Speaker 4: So buses will stop operating through Highland Park. But well,
- 56:56Speaker 4: they'll go through Highland Park, but we won't stop in
- 56:58Speaker 4: Highland Park.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Sale. It kind of like me, Yeah, you can go through,
- 57:01Speaker 2: but you can't stop because if you're not just rich enough,
- 57:05Speaker 2: you actually get kicked out of media.
- 57:08Speaker 4: This is expected to take effect May fifteenth, And if
- 57:11Speaker 4: you haven't heard about this, McDonald's is quietly getting rid
- 57:14Speaker 4: of their self serve soda fountains. So their plan is
- 57:18Speaker 4: to completely get rid of these by twenty thirty two.
- 57:21Speaker 4: That would mean that they are only behind the counter.
- 57:24Speaker 4: So they're saying this will help modernize restaurants, reduce maintenance
- 57:28Speaker 4: and labor demands, and really, you know, help them adapt
- 57:30Speaker 4: to the demand for drive through delivery and takeout, which
- 57:33Speaker 4: is you know a lot of people these days.
- 57:34Speaker 2: You're trying to make everything automated. But then I have
- 57:36Speaker 2: to give my cup to an employee right to go
- 57:39Speaker 2: fill it up.
- 57:40Speaker 4: That's so confusing because we only have the kiosks at
- 57:42Speaker 4: the one by my house.
- 57:44Speaker 6: Like to get the human there at the counter, is
- 57:46Speaker 6: it takes a while?
- 57:46Speaker 2: You got to hit the bell, yeah, yell to get
- 57:49Speaker 2: a human yep, And then I got to get a
- 57:50Speaker 2: refill that we just leave the machines out right, Yeah.
- 57:53Speaker 4: They say this would give them more control of reportion sizes,
- 57:56Speaker 4: cleanliness and inventory and you know, stop people from taking
- 57:59Speaker 4: their walk and putting soda in it.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Did you see what the new Zealand McDonald's is doing No,
- 58:04Speaker 2: they're coming out with a mcmullet cheeseburger.
- 58:07Speaker 7: What is that?
- 58:08Speaker 2: I'm not this not a joke that'll mcmullet cheeseburger. One
- 58:12Speaker 2: slice of cheese hangs off in the back, No to
- 58:16Speaker 2: where it looks like a mullet. And they're really doing
- 58:20Speaker 2: it to just cause a little social viral moment. Okay,
- 58:24Speaker 2: where the cheeseburger has a mullet. Okay, yeah, well bring
- 58:27Speaker 2: that to mesquite make your own.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Yeah for sure, real quick, guys, post Malone canceled.
- 58:33Speaker 6: The start of his upcoming tour.
- 58:34Speaker 4: Six shows were part of this, including his shows here
- 58:38Speaker 4: in Texas. That tour is now going to kick off
- 58:40Speaker 4: June twelfth in Indianapolis.
- 58:42Speaker 6: So he's saying he needs.
- 58:43Speaker 4: More time to finish his double album before this tour starts.
- 58:47Speaker 4: You know a lot of people have been saying this
- 58:49Speaker 4: could have something to do with low ticket sales, which we've.
- 58:52Speaker 6: Been hearing for weeks.
- 58:54Speaker 4: Half these stadiums, you know, are not sold yet.
- 58:56Speaker 2: I see people online going, oh, it's low ticket sales
- 58:59Speaker 2: and kind of making fun of it. Well, even if
- 59:01Speaker 2: it is, it's not his fault. No, if anything it's like, well,
- 59:04Speaker 2: people don't have disposable income right now when gas is
- 59:07Speaker 2: seventeen dollars a gallon.
- 59:08Speaker 6: Yeah, we're about to hit a record.
- 59:09Speaker 2: And I'm not gonna go all the way to Waco
- 59:11Speaker 2: and spend all this money to go see him. Right
- 59:13Speaker 2: It's it's tough right now for people to just throw away.
- 59:16Speaker 2: And concerts are expensive.
- 59:18Speaker 6: They are some of these shows.
- 59:19Speaker 4: We're even offering discounted tickets recently. But he says, you know,
- 59:23Speaker 4: he promised the new music, doesn't have time to finish it,
- 59:26Speaker 4: so he's just not ready to tour. So we'll push
- 59:27Speaker 4: it back three weeks. That'll help him get the music done.
- 59:30Speaker 4: So I'm looking forward to the new music either way.
- 59:33Speaker 7: I know.
- 59:33Speaker 2: And when you're an artist, you don't want to go
- 59:34Speaker 2: from stadium to arenas. But to me, there's nothing wrong
- 59:37Speaker 2: with that.
- 59:37Speaker 6: No, I'd be happy with it.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Do it arena showing, dickies, do it American.
- 59:42Speaker 6: Airlines one hundred percent, do both. I'd go, Yeah, I
- 59:45Speaker 6: would too.
- 59:45Speaker 4: All right, I'm Kanaslopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 59:49Speaker 7: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 59:52Speaker 3: Welcome to the dirty Little Secret.
- 59:55Speaker 2: I need a drink right, Is that my dirty little secret?
- 59:58Speaker 2: I'm drinking right now. I'm just kidding. Not do that,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: all right, dirty little secret? Eight three three seven eight
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: seven one h two nine. Usually you can call us
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: where they're working on the request lines right now or Instagram.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Either way, tell us your secret. Go ahead and confess.
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: I do.
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: I've been going back and forth on calling you guys,
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: but I really don't have anyone to talk to about this.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: So well, that's what we're here for. It's a non
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: judgment zone. What is going on in your world?
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: Well, I've been married, and we've only been married a
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: couple of years, so it's still pretty new. And from
- 1:00:28Speaker 8: the beginning, we both wanted the same thing, like a
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: family with kids, you know, a big house full of noise,
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: and that was always a part of the plan for
- 1:00:36Speaker 8: both of us. And because it hasn't worked out that way,
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: we've been trying and trying and trying, and nothing has happened.
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: And at first I thought it was me, so I
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: got tested and I went through all the emotions, like
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: something's wrong with my body. I'm like broken, I'm something's
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: not happening right, And then we found out it's not me.
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: It's him, okay, And I don't even think he realizes
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: how much that changed everything for me. And I tried
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: to be supportive and I love him. I love him
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: so much, and he's a good man, he's a good husband,
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: and it's not his fault. But I feel like, ever
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: since I found out, like there's this big weight on
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: me and I can't shake it. And I've always pictured
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: myself as a mom. I've always wanted kids. I wanted
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: that life with my husband and to have my kids
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: in my house. And so it's just like, this can't
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: happen now.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I know it's a lot of emotions, but and I'm
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: not saying this is the same, but I know there's
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: other you know, there's adoption, there's other things that you
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: could do.
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: My friends, yes, I mean we've discussed adoption. I'm not
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: against it.
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: I'm not.
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: But if I'm being completely honest, I don't know if
- 1:01:49Speaker 8: I'll feel the same way. Yeah, And I feel awful
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: saying that, but that's how I feel, and I can't
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: deny that I feel that way. And this is a
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: part of like what makes me feel like I might
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: be the worst wife in the world or worst person
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: in the world, and I just know that I know
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: myself and i'd be lying if if, like if I
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: say this is okay, because like I said, this has
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: always been my dream and I have thought about leaving him. Oh,
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: and I haven't said it, and I haven't even come
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: close because I love him and it's like, not his fault,
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: but it's crossed my mind that maybe I should move on.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: But I'm like, hold on, hold on, So you're thinking
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: about actually lead okay, and I'm not. It's the non
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: judgment zone. You're thinking about leaving him over this.
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: Well, I do want to have kids of my own,
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: and I don't know what else to do because I
- 1:02:43Speaker 8: do love him and I love the life that we're
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: building together, but it's not working out, and I just
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: feel like it's flipping away what I wanted.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: I mean, is it not working out? Or is this
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: the plan? The bigger plan that you know? Sometimes you
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: just can't control these things. And obviously it's not his fault.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: I can't tell you what's right or wrong. There's a
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: difference between going, oh, you know what, I can't. I
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: can't say this has never crossed my mind and I'm
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: actually going to do this. Yeah, there's two different things.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: So I mean, I guess it just depends on you
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: if you love them. I just feel like there's no
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: way you can leave them over this.
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: I don't feel like I can leave them either. But
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: I'm just like hurting myself, and I'm like, how do
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: I agree without hurting him? I'm just keeping everything to myself.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Have you two talked about but maybe possibly doing counseling
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: or something like that together, because this is a big deal.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't hold it inside, but also sharing that
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: with him is going to just break his heart even worse.
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess we will have to go to counseling
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: because I don't know what to do from here, because
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: I'm just questioning everything and feeling like a terrible person.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Because think about it. You leave Let's say you know
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: you've thought about it, you leave him, you get with
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: somebody else, you have kids, you think years down the road,
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: you're not going to look back and go I mean, yeah,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: I'm glad, I'm but I can't believe I left a
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: man that I love right and love because of something
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: that he can't control. Yeah, if they were switched around
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: and it was a man calling up and saying I'm
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: leaving my wife because she can't have kids. I think
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: people would be in an uproar and everybody feels different
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: now that you're saying it, right, And I don't think
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: you're a bad person. I'm just saying I would really
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: talk to somebody before you let that thought get out
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: of control or take over reasons.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: I mean to process you'r how you're feeling before you
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: just jump and make some type of decision that you
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: can't turn back.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: You know, because he's going through all this too, Yeah,
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: he probably feels so guilty and emasculated, like.
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: You know, it's just horrible. I wish that things were different,
- 1:04:44Speaker 8: but they're not, So I have to just face what
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: we have going on.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Well, and some.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: People would be, you know, take the route of this
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: just wasn't meant to be. It wasn't meant for me
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: to have kids.
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: It's a tough pill to swallow, it is when you've
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: dreamed of that.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I know so many people, so many people go,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: especially women. They feel like their main reason they're here
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: is to be a mom. So if that can't happen,
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: I get why you feel like there's a big part
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: of you.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: Missing for sure, but you definitely can't. You guys can't
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: work through this on your own. I would definitely seek
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: professional help do that.
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: Thank you, Thank you so much.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: All good luck with everything and let us know what
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: happens and hang in there.
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: Okay, okay, thank you so much.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: You're welcome, and I got to say thank you to everyone.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: This is why I love our listeners, because I'm getting
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: DM after DM after DM going, here's how she can
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: do something about this, go to this doctor or people
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: who've been in this situation. I'm going to send her
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: all of this info.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: So acts I don't know what option she's explored or
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: has it.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: It's kind of sensitive to ask you and I.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Don't on air exactly, so you know what, I'm gonna
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: get all this info. Thank you for sending on Instagram.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: I'm going to get to her and hopefully they can
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: work something out. We're about to get out of here. First,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: we got to announce the win for today's tradio Radio.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: I'm mixed one on two point nine. Who is gonna
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: win the needle or the mystery Dumpling? I guess we'll
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: let them pick which one they want.
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: Okay, that's fair.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: I'm excited about it. We've had so many good entries
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: on Fortunately today the request lines won't working tomorrow. I'm
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: sure they'll be up and running by tomorrow.
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: Yeah, knock on woody, knock.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: On wood we'll see. I love how pooso confident. I'm
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: gonna make sure that happened. Well, you should have made
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: sure today.
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: Then we just get a landline.
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: We have this high tech phone, so so let's get
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: an old school phone.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Just give me that phone. I'll be happy with it
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: either way. You're going to at mix one of two
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: nine AFM on Instagram to tell us what you would
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: trade and if you entered something. By the way, you're
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: still in the running. We're logging all this, so yeah,
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: I mean you're still you're still in it. We have
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: all week to do this. We're just gonna pick a
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: winner each day. So tomorrow we might do it on
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: the request lines. But we're gonna keep in mind all
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: the stuff that people have because look, you want to
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: hear some of the stuff. Yeah, these needles. Everybody wants
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: these needles. If you don't know what they are, it's
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: like a little squishy toy that people are waiting in
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: five hour long lines for paying one hundred dollars. See,
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: this is a good one. Heidi set a Pokemon collection. Oh,
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: that might be worth money exactly. Oh, David said, golf lessons.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: That's been on the list of making it to the finals.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Chrissy said, two pet ducks.
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: You did say you wanted a duck.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: No, I don't know if I can handle two pet ducks.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Kevin said, okay, now this is interesting. Kevin said, a
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: care bear fuggler, which I don't know what that is.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Can I say fuggler on the radio? I think so,
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: all right, and a box of toenail clippings.
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: Oo our past I take the care bear instead.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Carmen said a VHS player.
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: Oh, we could watch your old home videos when you
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: were little.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: That's a good one too. But you know what, I
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: think we've come to a conclusion of who's going to
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: win today?
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I think we have.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Should we announce who will win the NIDO for today?
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: The winner for Monday is Can I get a drum roll? Please?
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Can't just go ahead?
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: Iris?
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: We want your chicken.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Now we have a showed chicken. Thank you to Iris
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: in Joshua, She said, you know what, Candice need some
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: more eggs.
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: Yeah, hard boiled eggs. On the daily.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: She eats hard boiled eggs every single day, sometimes seven
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: to eight eggs a day. And we couldn't turn it down.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: We could not turn the chicken down. So now you
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: have to go to Joshua and get your chicken.
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: Okay, she's send me pictures of them, so I guess
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: I get to take my pick.
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: Wow, they're cute. Okay, So there's a little goat there
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: hanging out with them.
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: All.
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: These are happy chickens, all right.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Happy chickens, happy eggs. Yeah, so thank you and congrats
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: to Iris. That's a big deal. I will say this, though,
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: I think we're done with live analysts probably, So we
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: have a goat. We have a chicken. I think that's
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: all we can handle.
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean eggs, what beats that?
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: God, I do want it. I did want the ducks, though,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: I don't know if I could turn the ducks down.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: They're still in the running. Yeah, but what am I
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: going to do with two ducks?
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: Well, that's a commitment. They need each other to be friends.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: I know I can't break them up, right, all right,
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: either way, we'll do it again tomorrow morning, eight thirty.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: But congratulations to Irish
