- 0:22Speaker 1: I could have, but because I felt it's not for
- 0:25Speaker 1: mynd There's a concept called the concept fatality is the
- 0:27Speaker 1: concept what we do with that God is the one
- 0:29Speaker 1: we turn this everything out to me. Yes, it's a
- 0:32Speaker 1: very dangerous concept. You see, we talk about over compensation,
- 0:36Speaker 1: but when you have dealt with poverty, you also want
- 0:38Speaker 1: that negotiate. It's the reason why you have value. To
- 0:41Speaker 1: our value. You cannot even tell them what you discern.

- 1:59Speaker 1: again on this show. Thank you so much.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Poverty is something that we deal with in our not
- 2:15Speaker 2: just in our generation. It's been as long as human
- 2:18Speaker 2: civiliztion itself. Even the Bible mentions it's in passing says
- 2:23Speaker 2: the poor, you'll have with you always. People don't like
- 2:27Speaker 2: to be called a What is the reality of many
- 2:30Speaker 2: people when we talk about poverty, what's your first thought
- 2:35Speaker 2: on that?
- 2:36Speaker 1: No, sometimes people say things like, poverty is not when
- 2:42Speaker 1: you lack money, Poverty is when you lack ideas, and
- 2:47Speaker 1: so on and so forth. While I understand that you
- 2:50Speaker 1: cannot separate proverty from depravity the moment you don't have
- 2:55Speaker 1: what it takes to get the basic things of life,
- 3:00Speaker 1: the basic things of life. The way do you put
- 3:02Speaker 1: it is that I only top a day. Yeah, So
- 3:07Speaker 1: if you don't have what it takes to afford the
- 3:09Speaker 1: basic necessities of life, I think that's probat.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the case of a lot of people.
- 3:17Speaker 2: This is the case of so I want to come
- 3:20Speaker 2: from the angle, and you made it. You made a
- 3:22Speaker 2: statement that a lot of people claim that it is
- 3:25Speaker 2: only it is not only when you lack resources that
- 3:28Speaker 2: you are poor. You know, and you you've debunked that fact.
- 3:32Speaker 2: But that has been the narrative for a long time,
- 3:35Speaker 2: that you can lack money but be rich in other things,
- 3:41Speaker 2: and that in itself, it's it's wealth in itself, for example,
- 3:45Speaker 2: a good name. So what is the connection between virtues
- 3:53Speaker 2: and having finance, because many people will want to equate
- 3:57Speaker 2: and say that's not the ultimate of a person's.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I think I get what you're saying. The concept of
- 4:06Speaker 1: the name. I think we can call the social capital
- 4:13Speaker 1: what a gain. I still will not want to move
- 4:17Speaker 1: from the fact that it doesn't matter how good the
- 4:21Speaker 1: name is. If a person cannot afford the basic necessities
- 4:26Speaker 1: of life, that's poverty.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Mm hmm, yes, yeah, m hmm. There are statements that
- 4:35Speaker 2: I feel a beat harsh. I'll explain, yes, say when
- 4:43Speaker 2: when when we say a man that cannot take care
- 4:47Speaker 2: of his household is worse than infidel?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Is that a harsh statement or is that a statement
- 4:55Speaker 2: of fact? Because there are factors that many might want
- 4:58Speaker 2: to argue my bid the reason why you pressing my
- 5:00Speaker 2: turnd toward that reality.
- 5:04Speaker 1: So, whether it is hash babe, it is so. Whether
- 5:08Speaker 1: it's a fact the Bible said it, yes, I think
- 5:14Speaker 1: the context is the fact that one of the signs
- 5:22Speaker 1: of Godliness is that we are able to mature to
- 5:28Speaker 1: do in every season or the season demands. Now, I've
- 5:33Speaker 1: seen in cases, very painful cases where and permit me,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and this is another way to generalize this conversation. Maybe
- 5:44Speaker 1: a man and a woman married. There is no food
- 5:48Speaker 1: in the house. The man sits down, pressing his phone.
- 5:53Speaker 1: The woman can't even have ad You won't apply for jobs.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It feels too big for the ones around, and the
- 6:01Speaker 1: woman is then agony. She's then pain thinking about to escape.
- 6:07Speaker 1: He took her from my father's house in very good condition,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and now she's becoming a shadow of herself. If you
- 6:17Speaker 1: might won't make a move in that situation to do
- 6:20Speaker 1: anything to get there for his family. This wasn't an infident, true,
- 6:31Speaker 1: So it is in that context. Again, the subject of
- 6:35Speaker 1: poverty and lack is such that the society can be
- 6:40Speaker 1: a lot emotional about, and I think the most important
- 6:46Speaker 1: thing is that we've got to separate those emotions so
- 6:51Speaker 1: they can be clarity and then people, Because if you
- 6:55Speaker 1: have not properly diagnosed the situation, the person who is
- 6:58Speaker 1: battling with that may not get the help that they need.
- 7:02Speaker 1: While sometimes it somes novel that people genuinely care for
- 7:06Speaker 1: those who are in that state, it is also important
- 7:10Speaker 1: that we don't build a society where we do not
- 7:15Speaker 1: provide what it takes for people to come out of
- 7:17Speaker 1: that state, which includes number one, knowing that you're there
- 7:21Speaker 1: about to having the right knowledge, yeah, to come out
- 7:24Speaker 1: Number three, the right opportunity to be able to come
- 7:27Speaker 1: out of that situation. If you don't accept that this
- 7:30Speaker 1: is my state, you will not embrace the knowledge. And
- 7:32Speaker 1: when the opportunity come to come out of it, you
- 7:35Speaker 1: feel others can go get it, I can get it.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So I think the most disturbing thing is when there
- 7:40Speaker 1: is lack in the place and the person is not
- 7:42Speaker 1: aware or is aware, but it's not willing to do
- 7:45Speaker 1: anything responsibility. That is a very chaotic situation.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Do you believe there are poverties that are orchestrated institutionally?
- 7:59Speaker 2: I mean deliberate plots to keep people at a level.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Let me just share a research that I came across
- 8:07Speaker 2: and they were speaking about. It's on social welfare and
- 8:12Speaker 2: the idea the concept of social welfare, and it's this
- 8:15Speaker 2: those that qualify for shew welfare are those that do
- 8:20Speaker 2: not work, those that are jobless, so to speak. If
- 8:23Speaker 2: you can work, and if you work, you are off
- 8:28Speaker 2: the If you an a certain amount of money, you're
- 8:30Speaker 2: no longer eligible to get.
- 8:34Speaker 1: To which also means that if you get that kind
- 8:36Speaker 1: of amount you're you're gonna have to pay taxt.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yes, So a lot of people end up faring better
- 8:44Speaker 2: when they depend on social welfare as opposed to when
- 8:47Speaker 2: they work, because now when they're working, they are ending
- 8:50Speaker 2: not as much as they even we're got we're getting
- 8:53Speaker 2: from the social welfare, but now the stack's involved, there
- 8:56Speaker 2: are bills to pay, and then it appears as though
- 8:58Speaker 2: the people are better of when they are not doing
- 9:01Speaker 2: anything and depending on social welfare. Do you think that
- 9:04Speaker 2: there is poverty that is institutionalized.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Let me give you an historic fact, something you can
- 9:09Speaker 1: go very fy. Anybody can go check this out. When
- 9:13Speaker 1: the Native Canadians were conquered, guarding and you know, displaced
- 9:21Speaker 1: and those things that appened that poe, there were insurance
- 9:24Speaker 1: built around them to keep them marginalized. And one of
- 9:27Speaker 1: it was the structure for social welfare in the sense
- 9:31Speaker 1: that you provide basic things for these guys they are
- 9:37Speaker 1: not strong enough anymore. You see a structure where a
- 9:41Speaker 1: structure that looks kind stipends is sent to them every month.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And also said, by side with that structure is the
- 9:51Speaker 1: availability of money without purpose and without a pursuit. Now
- 9:57Speaker 1: you see people now get hooked on drugs. It now
- 10:00Speaker 1: becomes an institution that when they get the money from
- 10:05Speaker 1: the government because it keeps coming. And now you don't
- 10:08Speaker 1: have to work. And now you don't have to work,
- 10:10Speaker 1: means you don't have to pas you meaning, So what
- 10:14Speaker 1: are you going to do?
- 10:15Speaker 2: Purpose less propose less life.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So you see the cycle of drug crime women, and
- 10:23Speaker 1: this is how many civilizations have been wiped out. So
- 10:26Speaker 1: you must understand that when you build emotional structure around
- 10:31Speaker 1: people that takes meaning from them, you establish them transgenerational
- 10:37Speaker 1: in poverty. And it's dangerous. So as to whether it
- 10:41Speaker 1: is a deliberate structure and all that, my dad taught
- 10:44Speaker 1: me something while we're growing up. If something goes wrong
- 10:46Speaker 1: in the house and it's going to ask who do
- 10:48Speaker 1: you suspect maybe something is missing or something like that,
- 10:52Speaker 1: and you you it trained us. You most have valutation.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You should have someone in your mind that you think
- 10:58Speaker 1: and so it taught or something that if you want
- 11:01Speaker 1: to know is responsible for something, you want to check
- 11:03Speaker 1: who benefit from it. So the question is that if
- 11:07Speaker 1: you have perverting a sexion, benefit from perverting society. Number
- 11:10Speaker 1: one of the powerful benefit from it. Because when you
- 11:13Speaker 1: have vast number of people who are poor, then they
- 11:15Speaker 1: become controllable, they become usable, they become cheap. You can't
- 11:20Speaker 1: get them to do anything. They can be weaponized as
- 11:24Speaker 1: against every agendas. You use them to run propagandas you
- 11:27Speaker 1: can be shown up in a city and then pay
- 11:30Speaker 1: eight thousand people five thousand earth and get them to
- 11:33Speaker 1: show for your mass at the airport. You take the
- 11:36Speaker 1: publicity as a sign that you are you are a
- 11:39Speaker 1: popular person there. But people were able to come out
- 11:43Speaker 1: of their houses to come stand here because not because
- 11:46Speaker 1: they like you. Because then in the states where they
- 11:48Speaker 1: are buying, they can fill stadiums for a personal they
- 11:51Speaker 1: don't like. Because at the end of the day, there's
- 11:53Speaker 1: going to be cheap salt, cheap bag of rice, and
- 11:56Speaker 1: sometimes not even the rice. We've seen places where it
- 11:59Speaker 1: is gary sugar and all that. And so will benefit
- 12:05Speaker 1: from people's luck. Whoever benefit from it needs the system
- 12:09Speaker 1: to continue. So poverty is a multi billion dollar industry.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And yeah, it gives the powerful IMpower.
- 12:18Speaker 2: In simple terms, the rich benefits from the poverty.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Of I didn't say that. I didn't say that, you
- 12:25Speaker 1: said the powerful. I just paid the situation. And there
- 12:27Speaker 1: are things that we can observe all around those for instance,
- 12:36Speaker 1: the schools, what are they designed for HM or as
- 12:43Speaker 1: we have it, we are there are no consistent upgrades
- 12:47Speaker 1: to put people in the situation and give them the
- 12:50Speaker 1: perspective where they can be able to also compete for
- 12:57Speaker 1: certain strataime life. Why is it that the system keeps
- 13:03Speaker 1: pull in the mold where the best they can be
- 13:07Speaker 1: is the Q beyond those words gotten it right? So
- 13:11Speaker 1: again the question is who benefit from the lack of
- 13:14Speaker 1: the people. Fake religious institutions will benefit from it because
- 13:19Speaker 1: people cannot be used as experimental guinea pig. You can
- 13:23Speaker 1: gather them sinis, there's nowhere to go. You post the
- 13:26Speaker 1: pictures online and it looks like it. And I use
- 13:28Speaker 1: the word fake religious instran for it deliberately because if
- 13:32Speaker 1: you have religious establishment that gets it right, there will
- 13:36Speaker 1: always be empowerment. When you see the ones that don't
- 13:39Speaker 1: get it right, they will always exploit the people. So
- 13:42Speaker 1: a poor person is beneficial in many ways. And it
- 13:45Speaker 1: realizes when you say more beneficial.
- 13:48Speaker 2: In mass, when you say empowerment, someone might think empowerments
- 13:55Speaker 2: like in signitude of what we see in the government
- 13:58Speaker 2: do give handouts and all of us what's your idea
- 14:01Speaker 2: of empowerment.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You've not changed the man's life if you have not
- 14:04Speaker 1: changed the ogentation. That's impartment the fact that you will
- 14:09Speaker 1: come and find themselves in clearaites. I don't think anybody
- 14:13Speaker 1: who is genuinely a leader will meet people small and
- 14:17Speaker 1: keep them small. I don't care what organization they want.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Where the business organization, where the industries, where the religious organization.
- 14:28Speaker 1: As long as you're dealing with people, there should be transformation.
- 14:32Speaker 2: I want to get a bit personal and I like
- 14:34Speaker 2: to get you into the conversation. Also, have you ever
- 14:39Speaker 2: experienced luck.
- 14:46Speaker 3: That was born in spovercy in so lack serious poveracy?
- 14:52Speaker 1: The first time I I you say that I didn't
- 14:55Speaker 1: believe that you were. It's difficult. Yeah, it's difficult to
- 14:59Speaker 1: believe because it looks like you really for the long way.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Yes, yes, that's testament first of all, to fact to
- 15:08Speaker 2: the fact that being born poor doesn't necessarily mean that
- 15:11Speaker 2: you have to be poor, you have to remain poor.
- 15:14Speaker 2: But can you draw us through the journey of your
- 15:19Speaker 2: your experience and then this is where we are going
- 15:22Speaker 2: with this conversation. What are the effects of growing up
- 15:26Speaker 2: in a deprived environment on the mind of a person.
- 15:31Speaker 2: What what what what was your experience like, what were
- 15:34Speaker 2: the things you experienced growing up because of the environment
- 15:37Speaker 2: that you were born into.
- 15:39Speaker 3: So, first of all, I was born in a family
- 15:41Speaker 3: of ten. It's children and my parents. I guess that's
- 15:49Speaker 3: a lot. So I am the sixth one, so I
- 15:52Speaker 3: have five ones. You know, that kind of family where
- 15:55Speaker 3: they're looking for emil, just trying and trying. So the
- 16:02Speaker 3: person before me is a meal. Well I think it
- 16:07Speaker 3: wasn't enough. They wanted more, so they kept trying and trying. Girls.
- 16:13Speaker 3: So we are seven girls and one guy. I come
- 16:18Speaker 3: from a family where you have to make what to eat, party,
- 16:24Speaker 3: a prayer points, you have to look to God for
- 16:27Speaker 3: a meal. So when we go to school, when we
- 16:30Speaker 3: went to school rather and you know, we've been taught
- 16:32Speaker 3: in this studies now that the normal. It seems it
- 16:38Speaker 3: seems schedule for the families one one one breakfast, look
- 16:43Speaker 3: to release because I'm like, why are you wasting money?
- 16:47Speaker 3: So there's poverty. I was born into it, but I
- 16:48Speaker 3: did not even that way.
- 16:50Speaker 2: And then there's January sixty.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Days, so there is all of that. So you know,
- 16:58Speaker 3: we had to at some points we had to get
- 17:01Speaker 3: the children, some of us, all of us in fact,
- 17:03Speaker 3: had to get involved in hockey. You hooked several things
- 17:10Speaker 3: before I was even involved by my parents. I had
- 17:13Speaker 3: to take the initiative because I have always liked the
- 17:16Speaker 3: idea of providing for myself. I liked buying things for myself.
- 17:20Speaker 3: I liked buying my school sucks as little as you know,
- 17:24Speaker 3: all of those things. So in primary school I joined
- 17:28Speaker 3: a club. I can never forget the name of that club.
- 17:30Speaker 3: We called it Achiever's Kiddy's Team, you know, And I
- 17:37Speaker 3: remember that in one of our club meetings at the
- 17:40Speaker 3: time in primary school. I was in primary for I
- 17:44Speaker 3: lent that you could there's something called what's what's this world?
- 17:48Speaker 3: There's something called vocation, is a vocational where you can
- 17:54Speaker 3: you know.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Yeah, vacation basically acquisitions.
- 17:59Speaker 3: So when I caught and I heard that you could
- 18:00Speaker 3: make money from it, I on my way from you know,
- 18:04Speaker 3: from school on that day, I bought if you know
- 18:07Speaker 3: if this sach I got two pieces, and then when
- 18:12Speaker 3: I got home, the first thing I did was to
- 18:14Speaker 3: get a buckets. I put one eve but buckets, so
- 18:17Speaker 3: what's the worry? But I didn't care. I got nylon
- 18:20Speaker 3: and then I filled to each piece with juice, went
- 18:24Speaker 3: to my neighbor, put the stuff in in your fridge.
- 18:29Speaker 3: I sold everything that day. I sold out in the
- 18:31Speaker 3: market that day. That was when I know that drink
- 18:38Speaker 3: hard eyes. Yes, it was at the time. I think
- 18:42Speaker 3: it was ten ten pieces for five air at the time.
- 18:45Speaker 3: So I sawed out. I said, so there's money in
- 18:49Speaker 3: this thing. I hurt a crawl for my mom. I
- 18:52Speaker 3: hogged red pepper, I mean red oil. I hogged pepper
- 18:56Speaker 3: for four so many things just to survive.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Pologically, Yes, where did that put you? And how did
- 19:02Speaker 1: you come up?
- 19:04Speaker 3: I know that at the time, I may not know
- 19:07Speaker 3: that I was poor, but I know that I so
- 19:10Speaker 3: far lose self esting. I didn't feel like I was
- 19:13Speaker 3: in dis same class with anybody. So I was always
- 19:16Speaker 3: ready for bully in class. I was always ready. It
- 19:21Speaker 3: was so bad.
- 19:22Speaker 1: You know, I should add this, you see, to be
- 19:26Speaker 1: able to match up with your colleague. And there is
- 19:32Speaker 1: a basic level of self awareness that you need. Oh, yes,
- 19:37Speaker 1: at least a minimal level. Basic level that you need,
- 19:41Speaker 1: and that oftentimes doesn't just come from the assurance my parents.
- 19:45Speaker 1: It comes from your environment. Yes, the quality of things
- 19:50Speaker 1: that you see the quality of people that you relate to.
- 19:53Speaker 1: So the issue with lack is this. It's not just
- 19:56Speaker 1: that your pocket is dry. It is the fact that
- 19:59Speaker 1: it puts you in the position where, even when something
- 20:02Speaker 1: is available and free, you just conclude it is not
- 20:06Speaker 1: for oh.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Yes, so it is.
- 20:09Speaker 1: It is a system that can shut you up from
- 20:17Speaker 1: daring to do certain things and keep you fighting those
- 20:21Speaker 1: do it oh yes, and leave you wondering why you
- 20:24Speaker 1: didn't do it.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So you can look at certain jobs and while you
- 20:30Speaker 1: have the requirements, just conclude it is not for her.
- 20:34Speaker 3: I want to say something to that effect because I
- 20:36Speaker 3: remember that when I was in the university, I started
- 20:39Speaker 3: to make money. That's a long story up to that board.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I started to make money for my skill. So I
- 20:44Speaker 3: remember getting paid going for an interview and I was
- 20:48Speaker 3: told that, okay, it's the writing job. I would be
- 20:51Speaker 3: writing delivery about ten articles per day and I was
- 20:54Speaker 3: to be paid one award. It was a lot of
- 20:57Speaker 3: money for me at the time. One it's not like
- 21:01Speaker 3: many years ago, just twenty sixteen.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Here one a lot of work.
- 21:06Speaker 3: It was lots of money for me at the time, you.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Know, because there was a time and let me tell
- 21:11Speaker 1: you what I'm saying this. I there was a time
- 21:15Speaker 1: my condition was so bad I was writing research for
- 21:18Speaker 1: people their project in school. So I understand when you
- 21:21Speaker 1: say one, oh, yes, that's writing a lot more like
- 21:27Speaker 1: and a bad B A CIVI starch was you know,
- 21:29Speaker 1: bringing you m.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Less than that.
- 21:35Speaker 2: There was a lot of money to.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Me at the time. Wow, and I would It's not
- 21:44Speaker 3: like there were no opportunities at the time that I
- 21:46Speaker 3: could apply for what they came with the gammoney, and
- 21:48Speaker 3: I didn't think I deserved them. Now that I look back,
- 21:51Speaker 3: that I could apply for and get them easily because
- 21:54Speaker 3: I had this skill, I had what it took, what
- 21:56Speaker 3: it takes, but I could not apply for them because
- 21:59Speaker 3: I didn't feel like I deserved to get these jobs.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Do you know this culture way important? People send you
- 22:06Speaker 1: a message the fact that you feel what am I
- 22:10Speaker 1: to chat with this and you just both out of
- 22:13Speaker 1: the conversation. It looks you rud off, but internally self.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Under it has happened to me. I don't want to
- 22:21Speaker 3: mention their name, but there is one on top of
- 22:24Speaker 3: my head now. I could not even continue the conversation
- 22:27Speaker 3: because I was like at the end of the day,
- 22:29Speaker 3: they're not going to pick me, they're not going to
- 22:32Speaker 3: work with me. So I just let it go. I
- 22:36Speaker 3: have the evidence of how do.
- 22:38Speaker 2: You go come into an environment like the university, where
- 22:41Speaker 2: you know, you have people of all classes come around.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Sometimes it's not of our classes in a general public university.
- 22:49Speaker 1: If you look at the true sales, did you come
- 22:54Speaker 1: to a lot of mentioned names? There you go.
- 22:58Speaker 2: To the greatest.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I don't measure you. Those who watch the toilet. When
- 23:07Speaker 1: they wake up in the morning to watch the toilet,
- 23:10Speaker 1: they begin with curses. Are you lot?
- 23:14Speaker 4: You have used this place? It's all not be this,
- 23:16Speaker 4: It's that it's all of you who came to this
- 23:20Speaker 4: compound to study. You will come out with this another
- 23:24Speaker 4: and they started reading curses. That's what both male and female.
- 23:31Speaker 1: You see. We've been able to brand many things for
- 23:36Speaker 1: what they are mm hmmm, because that's the best we
- 23:39Speaker 1: can afford. It is the site of that, the bearing
- 23:45Speaker 1: of those things. The fact that when you wake up
- 23:48Speaker 1: in your ho stele, an average person by your bunk
- 23:53Speaker 1: is about to use a kind of hooker that they
- 23:57Speaker 1: will connect the wire. Oh my god, if there's AI.
- 24:03Speaker 1: This is z in a way that if you try
- 24:08Speaker 1: to touch that part of beings, the owner. Yes, the
- 24:13Speaker 1: fact that you come out of those places and look
- 24:16Speaker 1: at all those things, because when we go to places,
- 24:18Speaker 1: we bring our own environment, and you look at all
- 24:22Speaker 1: those things. Even when you believe that you're here to study,
- 24:27Speaker 1: you see, you can put so much energy in studying
- 24:31Speaker 1: what you're studying, in studying your work, and when it
- 24:35Speaker 1: comes to reach enough for higher height in life, you
- 24:39Speaker 1: just can't find the same level of energy. Yes, yes,
- 24:42Speaker 1: because of the way your mind has been fried and posted. Yes,
- 24:46Speaker 1: the system abuses you. It destroys your reasoning. True, it
- 24:53Speaker 1: kills your esteem mm hm, and you can't even find
- 24:57Speaker 1: yourself anymore. These are issues.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I really think that a lot of people do not
- 25:02Speaker 2: even know that they suffer from this. They just feel like,
- 25:06Speaker 2: I don't want too much out of life. I'm okay,
- 25:09Speaker 2: I'm content. Maybe we'll call it contentment because I'm thinking
- 25:12Speaker 2: back and I'm looking at things well before, do you
- 25:14Speaker 2: know you're doing bad? I'm looking at a lot of
- 25:18Speaker 2: things that I could have done. Sorry, this is might
- 25:21Speaker 2: look funny, but I mean there was someone I was
- 25:23Speaker 2: going to date, that I was going to ask out,
- 25:27Speaker 2: but I just feel like not my classmen, and looking back,
- 25:31Speaker 2: and now I'm thinking, I'm saying, there's absolutely nothing that
- 25:34Speaker 2: should have stopped me from of course that's the funny example,
- 25:37Speaker 2: but the only reason.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I say something quite Yes, low service team can give
- 25:43Speaker 1: you a spouse you celebrate to regret tomorrow. Yes, low
- 25:47Speaker 1: service still can put you in the place where you
- 25:50Speaker 1: marry the low budget version of your Low service still
- 25:55Speaker 1: can put you in the place where you marry somebody
- 25:57Speaker 1: because they look like we should have. Your service team
- 26:00Speaker 1: can put you in a place where you marry somebody
- 26:03Speaker 1: knowing that things are not going to be well. Of
- 26:05Speaker 1: course you have to leave home. Low service team can
- 26:08Speaker 1: put you in a place where you marry somebody because
- 26:11Speaker 1: at least your children will look fine you when you
- 26:14Speaker 1: know that they will have We call it everything else
- 26:17Speaker 1: but lucifers because an average person I have not been
- 26:20Speaker 1: able to diagnose it properly. Yes, wow, you see, we
- 26:24Speaker 1: most understand. And this is one of things I'm trying
- 26:26Speaker 1: to pass across. There's a concept called the concert fatality,
- 26:32Speaker 1: is the concept of what will be will be, that
- 26:34Speaker 1: God is the one who determines everything ultimately. Yet it's
- 26:37Speaker 1: a very dangerous concept and sometimes we share a bit
- 26:41Speaker 1: of that perspective where we believe that whatever becomes my
- 26:44Speaker 1: life of black black plat towards God's design. I can
- 26:47Speaker 1: tell you for the fact that you can know deep
- 26:50Speaker 1: in your heart that was not God's design. You've got
- 26:53Speaker 1: what you want, go a well life a position. But
- 26:56Speaker 1: this is the advice. If you have done that, you
- 26:58Speaker 1: just have to stay with your choice. But you can
- 27:01Speaker 1: do it for the rest of your life. That I
- 27:04Speaker 1: could have pursued this dream. I could have gotten better
- 27:07Speaker 1: at this, I could have knocked this door. I could
- 27:09Speaker 1: have built this relationship. I could have followed after this.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I could have, but because I felt it's not for
- 27:17Speaker 1: my can and I must tell you this. There are platforms.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I find myself that I global platforms. Yes, I paid
- 27:24Speaker 1: to be there, but the most important benefit I get
- 27:28Speaker 1: from there is the quality of people are in their room.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Because the quality of people call it of conversation, and
- 27:33Speaker 1: the quality of conversation the quality of the transformation. So
- 27:37Speaker 1: sometimes while we don't want to call it what it
- 27:39Speaker 1: is because it is a lightly religious environment and also
- 27:44Speaker 1: cultural environment. Part clearly we Africans. You you can just
- 27:52Speaker 1: know that O don't know this is not what God
- 28:00Speaker 1: design for you in terms of pursuit, accomplishment and all that.
- 28:05Speaker 1: This is what my mindset would carry at the time
- 28:08Speaker 1: the decision was made true.
- 28:12Speaker 2: True. So I find also that poverty also doing a
- 28:16Speaker 2: lot of emotions and sensationalism in this sentiment. Yes, in
- 28:20Speaker 2: the sense that people would feel insulted if they're called poor,
- 28:26Speaker 2: even though it's the reality. And you just mentioned that
- 28:29Speaker 2: the first stage is even knowing diagnosing properly the situation.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I mean, you have to know that this is what
- 28:35Speaker 2: it is. You're in depravity, this is lack, this is
- 28:37Speaker 2: not the design as it ought to be. And if
- 28:41Speaker 2: someone feels emotional towards the idea of poverty, you look
- 28:44Speaker 2: around your life, look around your family, and say, okay,
- 28:46Speaker 2: this is poverty, this is not reality. Right, you cannot
- 28:49Speaker 2: even begin the journey to freedom. Now someone says that
- 28:53Speaker 2: the problem is not the problem. The problem is the solution.
- 28:57Speaker 2: And this is where I want the conversation to now go.
- 29:01Speaker 2: And I'll start with user. You have shared your experience
- 29:05Speaker 2: on a number of occasions. I mean the times you
- 29:07Speaker 2: share how that you have to sell noodles on the
- 29:09Speaker 2: streets just to get by a season. Right, someone might
- 29:13Speaker 2: be looking and saying, Okay, you are not in that
- 29:15Speaker 2: season anymore. Why speak as do you were never there?
- 29:19Speaker 1: Because the things that need to bring you out are
- 29:21Speaker 1: not going to be sentimental. The things that need to
- 29:25Speaker 1: bring you things that would have to appectly confront you
- 29:27Speaker 1: and giving the rule awakening. Some books you read and
- 29:32Speaker 1: before you haven't done with the first five pages, you're
- 29:36Speaker 1: like some people you hang out with, you still may
- 29:42Speaker 1: not carry their sense of self assurance and their audacity.
- 29:47Speaker 1: What you know that that's exactly what I need. I
- 29:50Speaker 1: think whatever pacifies you in that position cannot bring you out.
- 29:54Speaker 1: And when people are talking and bringing perspective to work
- 29:58Speaker 1: and bring a person out, I think it is important
- 30:01Speaker 1: that the perspectives are not emotionalized. And I want to
- 30:05Speaker 1: say this also that the mentality that kept you there
- 30:10Speaker 1: can't take you out. True, So you need something entirely different.
- 30:16Speaker 1: If you are in a situation hmm that you can't
- 30:25Speaker 1: even afford to transport to yourself from one state to another,
- 30:30Speaker 1: or if you take a flight to go come mm hmm,
- 30:36Speaker 1: that's your network and that's stopless of even living the country.
- 30:46Speaker 1: That's a prison mhm. The only difference is that the
- 30:50Speaker 1: size of that prison is the size of the nation
- 30:52Speaker 1: where it's difficult to accept. Sometimes, well that's a prison.
- 30:59Speaker 1: If you can't do the things that you need to do,
- 31:02Speaker 1: you can't go to the place that you need to
- 31:04Speaker 1: go because of luck. That's a crazy and I feel
- 31:12Speaker 1: it is good when it is properly understood so that
- 31:17Speaker 1: now we can face the solution. And I want to
- 31:20Speaker 1: say this again that if you find yourself growing up
- 31:27Speaker 1: in places where there's so much deprimitive and sometimes those
- 31:32Speaker 1: things you don't like to hear at the things that
- 31:35Speaker 1: you need to come out.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Wow, yes, sir, Wow, sure.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I'm just going to say that. Is this so crastus
- 31:43Speaker 3: that says, man, know yourself, because now you know where
- 31:49Speaker 3: you're coming from. There are some things that others are
- 31:52Speaker 3: doing that you should not even be found doing. Statements
- 31:55Speaker 3: like school is come, or sleeping every time around the clock,
- 31:59Speaker 3: like you don't know where you're coming from. If you're
- 32:02Speaker 3: trying to beat a background that you don't want to
- 32:04Speaker 3: create for your children, then you need to stand up
- 32:06Speaker 3: and fight. You need to see and thank God around us,
- 32:10Speaker 3: there are so many opportunities, so many opportunities to learn
- 32:12Speaker 3: and develop yourself and lead yourself, because at the end
- 32:16Speaker 3: of the day, if you say, if you, if you
- 32:19Speaker 3: keep staying there and you're blaming your parents for the
- 32:21Speaker 3: kind of life that you lived growing up, know that
- 32:24Speaker 3: one day you're going to be parents to other people
- 32:27Speaker 3: and they are going you are going to somebody said
- 32:29Speaker 3: you are not going to be somebody's background, So that
- 32:32Speaker 3: that gets prepared because there are so many there is
- 32:35Speaker 3: no more excuse.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Maybe I'm just going to You would have to stay
- 32:40Speaker 1: quite far away from the environment that keeps reminding you
- 32:44Speaker 1: of your predicamments while you are fighting on many grounds.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Number one, you're fighting for a change of orientation. MHM.
- 32:55Speaker 1: That the way you are being programmed to see that
- 32:58Speaker 1: this is our life works is not the way life works.
- 33:01Speaker 1: For instance, you grew from an environment where it is
- 33:04Speaker 1: either money or nothing, because what is lacking there becomes
- 33:08Speaker 1: the ultimate position. She said. You find yourselfrounding organizations and
- 33:13Speaker 1: running businesses and you are not talking about customer satisfaction.
- 33:18Speaker 1: It's just about the money and those why elite can
- 33:21Speaker 1: see it right through the small screen and immediately will
- 33:24Speaker 1: reject what you brought to the table. So you want
- 33:26Speaker 1: to be position your saving an environment where you know
- 33:30Speaker 1: this is a need or we've got to move beyond
- 33:32Speaker 1: the need, and first understand that real money is the
- 33:41Speaker 1: extent of value for value. So you want to bring
- 33:44Speaker 1: those two to the table and then trade with them
- 33:47Speaker 1: and let money now come as a repull effect of
- 33:52Speaker 1: a diision that was well made. So there is the
- 33:54Speaker 1: place of change of orientation. This comes true. Books, This
- 33:57Speaker 1: come true, mentorship, this comes true, association, This comes to
- 34:00Speaker 1: change of environments. The fact that you've had to go
- 34:03Speaker 1: through the cycle of life where these things are not available,
- 34:07Speaker 1: has kill certain things in the pastor dreaming certain regards,
- 34:11Speaker 1: the capes to pursuing certain regards, the capaciti relate to
- 34:15Speaker 1: certain kind of people, and to see ourselves in certain lights,
- 34:19Speaker 1: to believe in yourself as one who is able to
- 34:22Speaker 1: do this. Those things are being killed sometimes the ash
- 34:26Speaker 1: works around you. In fact, the chance of pursuing the
- 34:29Speaker 1: wrong things is higher depend on environment. That I agreeing up.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Because now you are programmed to study a course in
- 34:36Speaker 1: school because this is like it will make you get
- 34:39Speaker 1: a certain job and solve this problem and all that.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And so you you're fighting now the fight of esteem,
- 34:49Speaker 1: and so you begin to now relate to people you
- 34:52Speaker 1: know in different regards. My head. Someone say that if
- 34:56Speaker 1: you have four fully people as friends, you didn't count.
- 35:00Speaker 1: So now you want to put yourself and put yourself
- 35:02Speaker 1: in the environment where your esteem has been boosted. It's
- 35:05Speaker 1: going to be uncomfortable before it starts because the people
- 35:08Speaker 1: who carry the presence to affect your orientation. Sometimes you
- 35:15Speaker 1: have been wired to pass them as proud. Yes, you
- 35:18Speaker 1: have been wired to fight them. The way they say
- 35:21Speaker 1: what they say, the way they do what they do.
- 35:25Speaker 1: It can confront something in you in a way that
- 35:27Speaker 1: you just want to shut them down or get out
- 35:30Speaker 1: of the platform, block their contact. But those are the
- 35:33Speaker 1: reason you need. So you have to put yourself in
- 35:39Speaker 1: that place where you say, well, on a minute, it's
- 35:41Speaker 1: either my future of my emotions and my ventue is
- 35:44Speaker 1: best to pick your future? You see. Another very important
- 35:48Speaker 1: thing is that you want to check for the choices
- 35:51Speaker 1: who may because of the environment to find yourself. Both
- 35:53Speaker 1: of these choices are changeable. Y mean you, for instance, wow,
- 35:57Speaker 1: sometimes the choice of career. There are there are choices
- 36:00Speaker 1: that you made that you have to check who is
- 36:03Speaker 1: the best in this field and what does that person
- 36:05Speaker 1: look like? If you get to an office to work,
- 36:10Speaker 1: it is important you study who has been here for
- 36:13Speaker 1: the for the longest, for the longest, let's say ten years,
- 36:17Speaker 1: twenty years. Get the number of them plus of minors.
- 36:22Speaker 1: That's your future. If that doesn't look like where you
- 36:25Speaker 1: want to go, Wow, Sometimes you've got to change u part. Wow.
- 36:28Speaker 1: And sometimes it takes having some play. Won't take carrier paths.
- 36:31Speaker 1: So the ords are quite against you. So you need
- 36:34Speaker 1: the relationships that can We need contact. You need people
- 36:38Speaker 1: that can carry you because you've been able to swallow
- 36:43Speaker 1: your pride that it's coming from nothing to be able
- 36:47Speaker 1: to build those relationships. So and I also do like
- 36:52Speaker 1: to say this also that the one whose names can
- 36:55Speaker 1: open doors you can't afford to treate around there. Wow.
- 36:58Speaker 1: So you want to come again with the one whose
- 37:01Speaker 1: names Camberpon does Yet you can't afford to Anyhow. I've
- 37:05Speaker 1: seen people use the brand they are trying to build
- 37:08Speaker 1: to throw people on life. The names they are not
- 37:10Speaker 1: viueiled to drag people. They will drag people that they
- 37:14Speaker 1: will never need help from because there is the bandwagon effect.
- 37:21Speaker 1: If you know there is an addache that the child
- 37:24Speaker 1: have a mother, she's not saying you if you know
- 37:27Speaker 1: that you don't know where everyone is coming from. There
- 37:30Speaker 1: are times you can't do what they're doing because sometimes
- 37:33Speaker 1: their own advantages your disadvantage. Now you are fighting for
- 37:36Speaker 1: your life. Oh yes, and the battle is read forget
- 37:40Speaker 1: about any sentiment to break out of the cycle of luck.
- 37:46Speaker 1: It's a very tedious things. It's it's it is almost
- 37:51Speaker 1: as though you are fighting for your very existence because
- 37:54Speaker 1: this situation threatens it. So you you want to make
- 37:59Speaker 1: sure you do things differently and value people. Don't just
- 38:05Speaker 1: go out to pursue the money. Genuinely value people, Genuinely
- 38:10Speaker 1: value knowledge, genuinly value broth because everything you need on
- 38:14Speaker 1: the other side of true yes.
- 38:17Speaker 2: True, Wow, my god, I just want to I wanted
- 38:21Speaker 2: to speak to this. I find that and you've mentioned
- 38:24Speaker 2: a number of times one of the effects of poverty
- 38:28Speaker 2: in people is that there's a tendency to overcompens it.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Where there's deprivaty, whatever you are deprived of the most
- 38:37Speaker 2: becomes your utmost pursuit, and then when you get there,
- 38:39Speaker 2: you have tendency to overcompensate.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Over compensation is the reason why once a new wife
- 38:46Speaker 1: phone concert want to prove all we're using it. Over
- 38:50Speaker 1: compensation is the reason why you'll take the phone and
- 38:53Speaker 1: didn't what I put us on it. Over compensation is
- 38:58Speaker 1: the reason why you use the money you don't have.
- 39:01Speaker 1: It is almost the size of yours to buy a
- 39:04Speaker 1: zool and remain the club just to prove over compensation
- 39:09Speaker 1: is what makes you get the things that are not
- 39:11Speaker 1: ready for because you have suffered while you're not even
- 39:15Speaker 1: making plan to come out of the poverty. So there's
- 39:18Speaker 1: an adding that when the chance plays get money, they
- 39:20Speaker 1: use the money to buy his cake. It is also
- 39:23Speaker 1: the reason why if you see an average on the street,
- 39:26Speaker 1: you can't tell because in to show that he has.
- 39:29Speaker 1: But there's a kind of just there's the kind of
- 39:31Speaker 1: ship you will, there's the kind of kind there's a
- 39:34Speaker 1: kind of want, and there is a way I want
- 39:35Speaker 1: to do the just to put toys around and show that.
- 39:42Speaker 1: That's the concept of a compensation. It's you see and
- 39:48Speaker 1: I say what you're meanity and those who know those
- 39:51Speaker 1: old money doesn't shows. I've seen people buy cars and
- 39:56Speaker 1: buy the car and by speaker not speaker, now they
- 40:05Speaker 1: will get aunt. Addition to why is speaker in the
- 40:11Speaker 1: US should that by the time they drive boom boom
- 40:14Speaker 1: boom boo boom. Why is that? Mm oh, nothing makes
- 40:19Speaker 1: nos like luck.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Mm hmm, nothing makes noise like luck.
- 40:28Speaker 1: What there is another deala mm hmm. You see, we
- 40:32Speaker 1: talk about over compensation, but when you have dealt with property,
- 40:35Speaker 1: you also want that negotiation.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 40:39Speaker 1: It's the reason why you have value to offer and
- 40:42Speaker 1: you cannot even tell them what you deserve. Oh yes,
- 40:46Speaker 1: I call it the Jacob syndrome. When you look at
- 40:49Speaker 1: seven years of your life, I really wow wow. So
- 40:52Speaker 1: when you have that negotiates you may even have a
- 40:54Speaker 1: program you have of course, you have a product and
- 40:58Speaker 1: you are going to put it out at a disrespectful rate.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You will blow the boundaries, you will under charge you
- 41:08Speaker 1: over the liver. You get burned out, you get angry,
- 41:13Speaker 1: you get offended because the people, the same people you
- 41:15Speaker 1: have lower the standard FO will not respect. They are
- 41:19Speaker 1: getting far more than you are collecting, which is sometimes
- 41:24Speaker 1: looking at what is the fact that you don't have
- 41:28Speaker 1: your audacity to negotiate your words because you don't feel
- 41:33Speaker 1: you decided. Yes, it's the way many wople start their business.
- 41:41Speaker 2: I've asked you a number of times. You know, people
- 41:43Speaker 2: have asked you also, and my supers I said, why
- 41:46Speaker 2: are you bold enough to do the things you do?
- 41:48Speaker 2: And your response every time you didn't know, or you
- 41:52Speaker 2: probably this way?
- 41:54Speaker 1: You did?
- 41:54Speaker 2: You know you were supposed to be afraid to do them?
- 41:57Speaker 2: How did you get now you you're not born like this? Really,
- 42:01Speaker 2: how did you build audacity? Thing that you came from
- 42:06Speaker 2: the background that was probably not you know, the most famblant.
- 42:10Speaker 2: How did you build audacity when.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Life pushes you to the world where is zero? Mm hm.
- 42:16Speaker 1: You know sometimes and I think I have a very
- 42:24Speaker 1: clemental picture of the future that in the nearest future
- 42:28Speaker 1: your opinion doesn't count. This is my decision that matters
- 42:33Speaker 1: in the nearest future. Your opinion doesn't count about my life.
- 42:37Speaker 1: It's that counts, true true opinion.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 42:43Speaker 1: It's the season of its relevance is brief speaking, so
- 42:49Speaker 1: and it's not like it's relevant, just that's loud. So
- 42:53Speaker 1: I make decisions for the future that will not ask
- 42:55Speaker 1: why I do because of you. The future is brute,
- 43:01Speaker 1: so is history. And you've studied the street. That's also
- 43:04Speaker 1: where we're great. It doesn't matter we say what who
- 43:08Speaker 1: feels this or who feels that? Those who shape the
- 43:11Speaker 1: future don't pay attention to they say so, I thank
- 43:15Speaker 1: God for you, you look good, but it don't matter.
- 43:19Speaker 1: And everyone I have opinion about the life their own life.
- 43:22Speaker 1: So eventually we're all busy with that, either all busy
- 43:26Speaker 1: with our success or busy with our video. So at
- 43:29Speaker 1: the end of the day, when you don't saying what
- 43:31Speaker 1: you're saying, you go back to your problems. I go
- 43:34Speaker 1: back to mind. So why should he count?
- 43:36Speaker 2: Finally, what is the world? In simple terms? Someone is watching?
- 43:41Speaker 1: In the rare cases, people can come out a day
- 43:43Speaker 1: at the time once, but I think coming out is
- 43:47Speaker 1: a day at the time. Little learning here, little chan
- 43:51Speaker 1: preentation here. But I recommend mentorship mm hmm. I recommend
- 43:58Speaker 1: writing on the shoulders of those who have walked the
- 44:01Speaker 1: path you're trying. You have worked, you're walking those who's
- 44:06Speaker 1: today and who's yesterday is your own today, who have
- 44:12Speaker 1: survived it because you don't want to use your own
- 44:14Speaker 1: life doing trial and error. Those who have perspective. There
- 44:18Speaker 1: are times that just a statement said impassible, an experienced
- 44:22Speaker 1: mind can rescue from teny years of mistake. So you
- 44:26Speaker 1: want to be deliberate and don't be emotional about your
- 44:31Speaker 1: small circle that has nothing to offer. To bring you up,
- 44:37Speaker 1: you have to be a deliberate person who is very
- 44:40Speaker 1: intentional about the quality of knowledge, the quality of people,
- 44:45Speaker 1: the quality of environment that will bring that change in
- 44:48Speaker 1: perspective and then ultimately changing direction and then changing results.
- 44:56Speaker 1: While you are at it, must understand that the most
- 44:59Speaker 1: difficult place to rise from is among those that you
- 45:02Speaker 1: are small together. The more your imitation change, the more
- 45:07Speaker 1: they fight you, the more you become bold, the more
- 45:10Speaker 1: they see arrogance. They will not even patorgnize their kind
- 45:14Speaker 1: so that their kind can write they are both in lack.
- 45:17Speaker 1: They would rather go spend the money somewhere else and
- 45:20Speaker 1: then reaching those already rich. So you're going to face
- 45:24Speaker 1: a lot of develop disappointments, and even people that are
- 45:28Speaker 1: becoming strong so as to be help to you might
- 45:31Speaker 1: be the one also to trap you. But you must
- 45:34Speaker 1: always the reason why you started fighting. And if you
- 45:39Speaker 1: don't fight till you win, you're excusing the future will
- 45:43Speaker 1: make no sense.
- 45:44Speaker 2: True. Yeah, sure, I just want to say thank you
- 45:49Speaker 2: for this time. Yeah, speaking with you guys, thank you,
- 45:54Speaker 2: thank you speaking with you guys. And I'm sure that
- 45:56Speaker 2: everyone watching this is so super grateful for the Stump
- 46:00Speaker 2: shared everything.
- 46:06Speaker 3: M
