- 0:12Speaker 2: all over the place saying cancel them. Billy the Kid
- 0:15Speaker 2: in the morning, call us right. I still I'm in
- 0:18Speaker 2: a much better mood thanks to our amazing listeners.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so much better than when I got here, because.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Yes, same last night I was so irritated, so mad,
- 0:26Speaker 2: borderline depressed, thought to myself, like I try to do
- 0:29Speaker 2: this show and have fun and make sure that we
- 0:31Speaker 2: give back and do things that are good, and then
- 0:34Speaker 2: somebody's gonna hate and just start trying to cancel me
- 0:37Speaker 2: for what I don't know, and not even have the
- 0:40Speaker 2: you know, the confidence or the courage to stand up
- 0:43Speaker 2: and say, hey, this is why I'm doing it, just
- 0:46Speaker 2: to hang signs all over the place. But our listeners
- 0:49Speaker 2: are so amazing. Our mixed family really is what it is.
- 0:53Speaker 2: The comments on Instagram and you could see the signs
- 0:55Speaker 2: and all that good stuff at Mix one o two
- 0:57Speaker 2: nine FM. At Mix one oh two nine FM. They're
- 1:00Speaker 2: so good making me laugh. But here's the bad news
- 1:04Speaker 2: is we've been trying to check the cameras to see
- 1:06Speaker 2: if we can find out who it was that hung
- 1:08Speaker 2: the one across the street here across the service road.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I'm literally watching the video the security guard sent me.
- 1:15Speaker 2: It's right, it cuts off right above.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Well because it's not actually on our property or in
- 1:21Speaker 3: the building's property.
- 1:22Speaker 2: It's no so you can't see that. You could see
- 1:25Speaker 2: the bottom of the fence, but you don't see enough
- 1:27Speaker 2: to see who it would be. Yeah, so frustrating. So
- 1:30Speaker 2: then I thought, maybe we can call the toll way
- 1:32Speaker 2: and get them to pull the cameras, but I owe
- 1:35Speaker 2: them money.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Oh god, I don't think their cameras would be Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I don't think so either, So weird place. Either way,
- 1:42Speaker 2: we're trying to give you more updates as we get
- 1:44Speaker 2: them out who this was. If we get somebody to
- 1:46Speaker 2: call us, and I hope they do. Either way, dirty
- 1:48Speaker 2: little secret is on. If you got one, reach out,
- 1:51Speaker 2: tell us your secret and wow you do.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Okay, I know how you guys are, and you're still
- 1:57Speaker 1: going to make fun of me for this?
- 1:58Speaker 2: No, yes, okay, maybe what what is it? I'm so curious.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I have to really get this off my chest. I
- 2:06Speaker 1: faked having a peanut allergy for years.
- 2:09Speaker 3: You faked it.
- 2:11Speaker 2: You faked a peanut allergy. Wait yay, why would you
- 2:15Speaker 2: fake it?
- 2:15Speaker 1: It started when.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I was a kid.
- 2:21Speaker 1: It was by accident. Somebody thought I was allergic and
- 2:24Speaker 1: I just went with it. And then suddenly I was
- 2:27Speaker 1: getting special treatment and everyone was careful with these. Teachers
- 2:31Speaker 1: were checking labels, kids were like, oh, let me save
- 2:35Speaker 1: you a seat. You know, the girl that's allergic to peanuts.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And I felt like like important, so I went along
- 2:41Speaker 1: with it.
- 2:42Speaker 2: So you so you started just saying that you had
- 2:45Speaker 2: a peanuts.
- 2:46Speaker 3: That's what isn't in SOO school, Like the kids with
- 2:48Speaker 3: the peanut allergy have a special table, it's marked, they
- 2:51Speaker 3: get handled with care basically.
- 2:53Speaker 2: So you like that. So something about that as a kid,
- 2:56Speaker 2: you were like, oh, I feel like VIP, almost like
- 2:59Speaker 2: like the IP but for kids.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But the only thing is it kept it kept going.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I just couldn't stop. So still part of who I wait, wait.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Wait wait, I'm sorry, So this wasn't just happening as
- 3:08Speaker 2: a kid, You're still doing it.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yeah, So for years, like you guys I carried an
- 3:17Speaker 1: EPI pen. I would flinch if someone opened a jar
- 3:21Speaker 1: of peanut butter. And I started telling stories like, oh,
- 3:25Speaker 1: these close calls. You know that my one friend, she
- 3:29Speaker 1: she put peanut butter on my sandwich. And they were like, oh, no,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I heard myself talking about so much that I actually
- 3:36Speaker 1: believed it. My parents they were like, she developed an
- 3:39Speaker 1: allergy later in life. No, my doctor thought I was allergic.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yes, it was like, you've taken it into a butter
- 3:47Speaker 2: into adulthood. I wish I had a on call psychologist,
- 3:51Speaker 2: because this has to mean something that you. I mean,
- 3:56Speaker 2: it's obvious you like the attention, you like the I
- 3:59Speaker 2: don't know, the focus, that's your thing brand right like
- 4:03Speaker 2: you like it. It's part of who you are, and
- 4:04Speaker 2: you just kind of like the way it makes you feel,
- 4:06Speaker 2: and it's something to talk about. And it's just I
- 4:08Speaker 2: don't know, I don't know what it is. What is
- 4:09Speaker 2: it for you?
- 4:10Speaker 1: I don't I mean, I guess I couldn't go back
- 4:13Speaker 1: like in my medical chart. You know, my parents thought
- 4:16Speaker 1: I was allergic. What was I going to do tell
- 4:18Speaker 1: them that it was all a lie? And I still
- 4:21Speaker 1: get nervous when someone opens a peanut butter jart. Not
- 4:25Speaker 1: because I'm allergic, but because what if I don't react
- 4:28Speaker 1: to it and they know that I'm not allergic?
- 4:30Speaker 3: This is so people like you grew out of it.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yeah it does.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yeah, for whatever reason, my body's changing. It doesn't bother
- 4:38Speaker 2: me anymore because that I've.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Lied about it for so long that it's become this
- 4:44Speaker 1: strange like prison for me. I'm in this invisible cage
- 4:49Speaker 1: and I don't even know how to tell the truth
- 4:51Speaker 1: about it anymore.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Now do you lie about other things? No, it's just.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Maybe this is like my one exciting thing. That's maybe
- 4:58Speaker 1: like the dad, his job was boring, so I made
- 5:01Speaker 1: it exciting. Maybe maybe it made me interesting.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Yeah, And I do really believe that if you tell
- 5:07Speaker 2: a lie long enough, you start to believe it yourself.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Yeah you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, right, pooh,
- 5:12Speaker 2: what if anyone lies on the show'll just throw that
- 5:18Speaker 2: out there. Well, thank you for your confession, very that's
- 5:22Speaker 2: a fascinating one for me. I can understand why you
- 5:25Speaker 2: do it as a kid. It's just developing it into
- 5:27Speaker 2: an adult is I don't know. Maybe we'll have a
- 5:29Speaker 2: psychologist call up and tell us what it's all about
- 5:31Speaker 2: but either way it's a nonjudgment zone and we appreciate
- 5:33Speaker 2: your confession. Wow journey, little secret
