- 0:18Speaker 3: somebody's take. It's the Tortooga Music Festival I saw yesterday.
- 0:21Speaker 3: The weekend passes are all most completely sold out.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? Yeah? Wow wow.
- 0:27Speaker 3: So yeah Tortuga. You got Riley Green, Post Malone, Kenny
- 0:31Speaker 3: Chesney your headline.
- 0:32Speaker 4: They're your headliners for each day and then the under bill.
- 0:34Speaker 4: The undercart is a concert you go to just for
- 0:36Speaker 4: the undercard. Yeah, every single night. So I mean it is.
- 0:39Speaker 3: It is an amazing weekend on Fort Lodergo Beach Friday,
- 0:42Speaker 3: Saturday and Sunday.
- 0:42Speaker 4: And now a highly coveted weekend pass because they're going fast.
- 0:46Speaker 4: We'll give you a chance around seven to ten or
- 0:48Speaker 4: so to win your way into the game, and the
- 0:50Speaker 4: winner of the game gets it. And then we've also
- 0:52Speaker 4: got things at eight thirty coming up. Take us to George.
- 0:58Speaker 4: We were there yesterday for the hunchin and it was wonderful.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Everybody's really excited looking forward to a wonderful fair time.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Yeah, he's uh. He was in Australia for a couple
- 1:06Speaker 2: of weeks, so talked to him last night. He's back.
- 1:08Speaker 2: His next show is here at Clay County Fair. Cool.
- 1:10Speaker 5: He's super excited about coming to the show. So, well,
- 1:13Speaker 5: that's great, that'll be a good time. That would be
- 1:15Speaker 5: a good time. And then we got a fifty dollars
- 1:16Speaker 5: gift card to Grays Craze. Maybe about nine ten will
- 1:18Speaker 5: do that. Oh yeah, they brought Carcoter and Amber. Shout
- 1:23Speaker 5: out to Amber and the folks at Grays Crazes on
- 1:25Speaker 5: South Side Boulevard.
- 1:26Speaker 6: That was good.
- 1:26Speaker 7: We had all these different sauces and hummuses and Jillyasy.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Well.
- 1:32Speaker 3: We kept eating and eating and eating, and then you
- 1:34Speaker 3: go back and look at the board. Yeah, I felt
- 1:35Speaker 3: like when I was a little kid. Do you rememb
- 1:37Speaker 3: when you were a little kid and you would eat
- 1:39Speaker 3: eat meat and you look down to your plate and
- 1:41Speaker 3: it looked like nothing was gone right.
- 1:43Speaker 2: He'd moved the food around so it looked like Kate Morton. Yeah, huh.
- 1:45Speaker 3: So I could walk away from the table right, that's
- 1:47Speaker 3: how that board was. We all three of us ate
- 1:50Speaker 3: and eight Nate and then I looked at it and
- 1:52Speaker 3: we took it to the kitchen.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It looked like nobody had picked out, I know.
- 1:54Speaker 4: And Jean and Chumley came in and they got some too,
- 1:57Speaker 4: and it still looked crowded.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Oh so good.
- 2:00Speaker 6: I'm glad we got the first picking.
- 2:01Speaker 2: So thank you, Grace graz Yeah, thank you.
- 2:04Speaker 6: And tour that thing, okay.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And then you guys went in to the Clay County
- 2:08Speaker 2: Fair yesterday.
- 2:09Speaker 7: At eight and barely though I was, I was topped off.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I was kind of full too. But the barbecue
- 2:14Speaker 4: was wonderful and we appreciate it.
- 2:16Speaker 7: Yeah, in the hand mac and cheese.
- 2:17Speaker 2: It chilly day. Today is going to be chilly.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I think seventy two or four for our high today
- 2:23Speaker 3: sounds hoodie.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Weather it is, and it's like thirty percent chance of
- 2:27Speaker 4: rain throughout the day. Looks like it's going to be
- 2:29Speaker 4: another cloudy kind of like it was yesterday. We got
- 2:31Speaker 4: some sprints in a little bit on the way out
- 2:33Speaker 4: of the Clay County Fair.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Yeah we did.
- 2:34Speaker 7: And again I addressed in appropriately, I thought it was
- 2:36Speaker 7: going to be a scorcher today whoops, no.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Nope, no dot don't tomorrow be warm, Friday even warmer,
- 2:42Speaker 3: and then another nor' easter blowing through for the weekend.
- 2:44Speaker 2: We'll see seventy in cloudy Saturday and weekday.
- 2:47Speaker 3: It's leading back in three things get George Jacksonville. Wednesday
- 2:50Speaker 3: started off right, what is going on?
- 2:52Speaker 7: Well, the baseball game last night, that was Florida Florida State.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I don't think there was a winner in that game?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Did they? Did? They play the game?
- 2:58Speaker 7: See, so now we know who wins with that was
- 3:00Speaker 7: saying who won the Gators? It was five oh sixteen strikeouts?
- 3:06Speaker 7: Five oh no, it was one in a shoutout.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yes, they couldn't get anything going on that guy.
- 3:11Speaker 6: Even John admitted, well, I know.
- 3:13Speaker 4: A base great baseball game. The picture for Florida State
- 3:16Speaker 4: was a local guy here. He did a great job.
- 3:18Speaker 4: He pitched five innings and only gave up one run.
- 3:20Speaker 4: And but the picture for Florida was just mowing them down. Yeah,
- 3:24Speaker 4: they were great.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Florida came for blood. I mean, but they've been doing.
- 3:27Speaker 2: They had revenge on their mind beginning because last.
- 3:29Speaker 7: Year, yeah, after thirty years, Flies tie Irish Pub on
- 3:34Speaker 7: Atlantic Beach closed down last night. This was kind of random.
- 3:38Speaker 7: I love this place. When I moved here, we go
- 3:41Speaker 7: to that place all the time.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I don't like all these local places closing were there,
- 3:45Speaker 2: don't know.
- 3:46Speaker 7: And it was kind of sad because they had like
- 3:48Speaker 7: this big thing where everyone came out yesterday and they
- 3:52Speaker 7: had like the last call and people are crying and
- 3:54Speaker 7: emotional and yeah, it was a really awesome little Irish
- 3:57Speaker 7: public a tin can kind of you went in and
- 3:59Speaker 7: everyone was so nice. So it's closed. I mean thirty years. Yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 7: I know a lot of memory landmark.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 7: Our license plate law with the coverings on it, it's
- 4:10Speaker 7: being looked at by the feds. Now good because people
- 4:13Speaker 7: have been criminally charged. You know how we wondered, like,
- 4:15Speaker 7: is anyone actually getting pulled over? I guess they have
- 4:18Speaker 7: been criminally charged for having their license plate coverings. People
- 4:22Speaker 7: have been getting sixty jail days of jail time.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, they were getting that.
- 4:26Speaker 4: One guy got sixty days because the S and Sunshine
- 4:29Speaker 4: state was covered. He come on, now, I know they
- 4:31Speaker 4: backed off that one and said, okay, listen, we got
- 4:34Speaker 4: to make more more straightforward.
- 4:36Speaker 2: It's a common sense laws.
- 4:38Speaker 3: There are people committing real crimes that are walking on
- 4:40Speaker 3: the road right and out in the street, and even
- 4:42Speaker 3: they can commit more crimes right like that jackass that
- 4:44Speaker 3: killed the people in Panavidra as a Walgreeen's the guy
- 4:48Speaker 3: who been rested twenty seven times, and there's people doing
- 4:50Speaker 3: jail time over a license plate cover Come on, this
- 4:53Speaker 3: is where the system has to be rectified and fixed.
- 4:56Speaker 2: You gotta be got it.
- 4:57Speaker 7: If you have the dy you can bail yourself out
- 5:00Speaker 7: morning after no but sixty days in jail for a
- 5:03Speaker 7: license plate covering or five hundred dollars. So yeah, it's
- 5:06Speaker 7: being looked at from the top down to see if
- 5:09Speaker 7: this is actually something that's gonna stay.
- 5:11Speaker 2: It's doable it.
- 5:13Speaker 6: That's three things you need to know, all right.
- 5:14Speaker 2: If you're up a hurtle, I need to know one thing.
- 5:16Speaker 2: What is that?
- 5:16Speaker 4: John?
- 5:17Speaker 2: Brought you up?
- 5:17Speaker 3: Calls now nine O four three eight thirty six ninety nine,
- 5:20Speaker 3: be our first caller.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Of the day before you do that. Check you Jacksonville traffic.
- 5:25Speaker 2: How's it looking, John?
- 5:25Speaker 4: It's that ten westbound thing. They have not picked up
- 5:28Speaker 4: the cone jets, so it's a little slow going ten westbound.
- 5:30Speaker 4: As you're getting past seventeen McDuff in that area, spring
- 5:33Speaker 4: is sprung, and it's still in my lungs right now.
- 5:36Speaker 4: It is, man, I still got a bit of that
- 5:38Speaker 4: crud from the allergies and seasonal allergies. I didn't know
- 5:41Speaker 4: I had seasonal allergies until I went to the same
- 5:44Speaker 4: doctor for like three years. And then I'm looking at
- 5:46Speaker 4: my chart while I'm sitting there waiting for him, and
- 5:48Speaker 4: I'm looking at it says three twenty and then nine
- 5:51Speaker 4: to twenty one. When I was at the thing like
- 5:53Speaker 4: March twentieth, September twenty first, March nineteenth, September twenty.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Second, I'm like, wait a minute, do I have season Yes?
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yes you do, Yes I do. I'm so sorry my
- 6:04Speaker 2: congestion for you go ahead.
- 6:06Speaker 7: I saw something yesterday saying if you hum and the
- 6:08Speaker 7: key of C for two minutes straight is supposed to
- 6:10Speaker 7: clear out your sinuses. So I was trying, because how
- 6:13Speaker 7: do you hum without stopping for two minutes?
- 6:15Speaker 2: Yesterday, that's a C note.
- 6:18Speaker 6: Yeah, it's supposed to clear you out for two minutes.
- 6:20Speaker 6: You have to do it.
- 6:20Speaker 4: It didn't work for me, but scintillating radio is, let's
- 6:24Speaker 4: all do it.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I washed my truck on Sunday yesterday, driving home, it
- 6:31Speaker 3: was it was yellow again.
- 6:32Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. I know, you're just wasted crazy.
- 6:35Speaker 3: It's getting you on Megan's and Music City Minute. Lots
- 6:37Speaker 3: going on in Nashville.
- 6:38Speaker 2: What's up today?
- 6:39Speaker 7: Yeah, Cody Johnson an attendance record at the Houston Rodeo.
- 6:43Speaker 6: He had over eighty thousand people show up.
- 6:46Speaker 7: Yeah, wow, which is crazy. And the Houston Rodeo just
- 6:49Speaker 7: had a new like dress code, like it was a
- 6:54Speaker 7: big thing that they did.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah. I know he's a big Texas boy, but yeah.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Yeah, so I guess I didn't stop people.
- 6:58Speaker 2: So let's talk about the dress code minute.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Okay. Alan Jackson's now grandfather.
- 7:03Speaker 7: I didn't realize he didn't have any grand babies, but
- 7:05Speaker 7: now he does. His first a little girl named Charlotte
- 7:08Speaker 7: Ann and it's really cute.
- 7:09Speaker 6: They're gonna call her Charlie. And Ella.
- 7:11Speaker 7: Langley's new album that's dropping April tenth, Dandelion. She's shared
- 7:16Speaker 7: that she took a lot of inspiration from Fleetwood Mac,
- 7:19Speaker 7: which is very obvious if you've seen some of her
- 7:21Speaker 7: videos and stuff. She's kind of moving around like Stevie
- 7:24Speaker 7: Nick Boho Western girl vibes.
- 7:26Speaker 4: On so is it like lyrically if you want to,
- 7:29Speaker 4: if you want to dig into the actual story of
- 7:30Speaker 4: her life, you just go ahead and listen to the lyrics.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Is that what it is?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yep?
- 7:34Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 7:34Speaker 7: If we hear a curse going out to a man
- 7:37Speaker 7: that wronged her and a song, will know she's definitely
- 7:39Speaker 7: her Stevie era and.
- 7:40Speaker 2: It rhymes with Miley's spleen, right exactly.
- 7:44Speaker 6: I began, that's your music city minute.
- 7:45Speaker 3: All right, call us in, Actually, don't nut call us yet.
- 7:47Speaker 3: We're going to talk about dress codes. Yes, there's been
- 7:51Speaker 3: a lot of talk about dress codes.
- 7:52Speaker 2: The Houston Rodeo.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I know that Chili's and Roots Christmas going at each
- 7:56Speaker 3: other by dress codes.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so we're going to talk about that in just
- 7:59Speaker 2: a few minutes.
- 8:00Speaker 3: But first we'll check at Jacksonville traffic fear early Wednesday
- 8:02Speaker 3: morning ride in.
- 8:03Speaker 2: How's it looking John from the Closets by Design Traffic Center.
- 8:07Speaker 2: This report is sponsored by Florida Power and Light.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Oh it's froggy, John and Meghan, Welcome in. Where there's
- 8:12Speaker 4: no dress code here Country ninety nine one w QYK no,
- 8:17Speaker 4: come as you are zero.
- 8:18Speaker 2: We don't care.
- 8:20Speaker 3: It's so weird to see these you see these dress
- 8:22Speaker 3: codes now and it's this all started. Ruth's Chris changed
- 8:26Speaker 3: their dress code and I don't know if it's really
- 8:29Speaker 3: a change or if they are more just like iterating here,
- 8:33Speaker 3: this is a thing, they tweeted. New Ruth's Chris Steakhouse
- 8:38Speaker 3: has a new dress code business casual for customers to
- 8:41Speaker 3: wear proper attire with Diners who don't will be relegated
- 8:46Speaker 3: to the bar.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Kindly remove all.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Hats when entering the restaurant. Guests wearing ball caps will
- 8:51Speaker 3: be asked to dine in the bar lounge. Well, I
- 8:53Speaker 3: guess we know where I'm I'm eating if I go
- 8:54Speaker 3: to uh.
- 8:55Speaker 4: We'll be eaten with Froggy at the bar. Yeah, but
- 8:58Speaker 4: it's one of those things when you go to a
- 8:59Speaker 4: restauran like that. Now, I know things have changed, things
- 9:02Speaker 4: have loosened, things have gotten more casual in this whole country.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Because you look back in the sixties and you see
- 9:07Speaker 4: people going to a cafeteria like Morrison's back in the
- 9:11Speaker 4: day wearing suits.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I remember when things like that.
- 9:14Speaker 4: I used to have to dress up to go to
- 9:15Speaker 4: the Piccadilly cafeteria Regency.
- 9:17Speaker 2: On an airplane. Could we used to dress up to
- 9:19Speaker 2: go on an airplane.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Yeah, people dressed up to go everywhere. Yeah, And even
- 9:23Speaker 4: my mom and I we're going to church and I'm
- 9:25Speaker 4: wearing jeans and a bluck of button down shirt. My
- 9:27Speaker 4: Mom's like, y'all ain't going to church today, and I'm like, well, yeah,
- 9:30Speaker 4: we're going. You're going in that, you know. So I
- 9:33Speaker 4: know things have changed like that, But do we go
- 9:36Speaker 4: do we go too far where everybody's wearing tank tops
- 9:38Speaker 4: and flip flops and beachwear inside a nice restaurant?
- 9:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's there's a line there.
- 9:43Speaker 4: And do just Florida have their own thing? I mean
- 9:45Speaker 4: it's another thing. There's a Florida casual.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:47Speaker 7: That's a good point because I feel like business casual.
- 9:50Speaker 6: Is kind of strict when you I mean, I feel
- 9:53Speaker 6: like most men that I've seen around Florida.
- 9:55Speaker 7: Where's stuff that you could wear to a golf course,
- 9:58Speaker 7: to a nicer dinner, and you could go to church
- 10:01Speaker 7: and it's all kind of that golf attire?
- 10:04Speaker 6: Would that not count because it's short?
- 10:06Speaker 4: I think a collar is the main thing though, when
- 10:07Speaker 4: they're talking about certain things. There are certain golf courses
- 10:09Speaker 4: that make you wear a collar.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Then there's different kind of collars.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Now there's there's blade collars that are just like straight up,
- 10:14Speaker 3: they're not they're not the fold over collar like.
- 10:16Speaker 2: It's so there's so many different options. And you were
- 10:19Speaker 2: talking about the Houston the Rodeo. Yeah what is there?
- 10:23Speaker 2: When you said dress code, it woke me up.
- 10:26Speaker 7: Yeah. They everything needs to be covered now. And there's
- 10:29Speaker 7: something new I keep seeing too. People are specifically saying
- 10:32Speaker 7: if you have any tattoos that are vulgar, offensive, or
- 10:36Speaker 7: affiliated with crime, they have to be covered. And vulgar
- 10:41Speaker 7: I think would count.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Like if you.
- 10:43Speaker 7: Had there's popular like pin up tattoos where some of
- 10:46Speaker 7: the person is not completely dressed, I think those would
- 10:50Speaker 7: be completely out of the game too. Yeah, Clay County Fair,
- 10:53Speaker 7: we saw they had a dress code in their flyer.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Oh that's right, they do, Yes.
- 10:57Speaker 6: They do. You cannot wear anything.
- 10:59Speaker 2: That I like, the vulgar you're talking about the vulgar
- 11:01Speaker 2: t shirts or things like that.
- 11:03Speaker 6: Nothing as offensive. I know that tattoos that are offensive.
- 11:07Speaker 7: And at the Houston Rodeo, I guess they said that
- 11:11Speaker 7: people have been showing up looking like they're going to
- 11:13Speaker 7: the club and they don't want that. They want all
- 11:15Speaker 7: body parts covered. It's a family event. They're making it
- 11:19Speaker 7: more traditional. But then there's that line, you know, are
- 11:22Speaker 7: we doing the high school thing where how short.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Is too short?
- 11:25Speaker 4: You want to get get the ruler out and measure
- 11:27Speaker 4: the skirt to your knee?
- 11:28Speaker 7: Do I have to put my hands down and my
- 11:30Speaker 7: fingertips are the length of my shorts because I'm a
- 11:32Speaker 7: short girl with a small torso I'm wearing bermudas. I mean,
- 11:38Speaker 7: what do you do?
- 11:39Speaker 4: It's interesting. We'd love to hear from you your thoughts
- 11:41Speaker 4: about it. Nine oh four three eight eight thirty six
- 11:43Speaker 4: ninety nine. I'm a casual guy. I mean, look, I'm
- 11:47Speaker 4: in radio. I haven't worn I've won long long pants
- 11:50Speaker 4: like seven times all year, so I know how it is.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I love a Chili's. The restaurant responded, Oh yeah, I
- 11:55Speaker 2: Chilis and Chris. The only dress code we have is
- 11:57Speaker 2: you got to be dressed. That's it. Chilies, That's where
- 12:00Speaker 2: I'll go. I'll be a Chili's my wife. You know.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Sometimes I'll have I'm like what I'm wearing now, I've
- 12:05Speaker 3: got on a hoodie, pair of shorts, and we'll go
- 12:07Speaker 3: to dinner.
- 12:07Speaker 2: She's like, you getting change that hoodie. No, I'm not.
- 12:12Speaker 6: I get nice.
- 12:12Speaker 7: It's like a golf You look like you're going to
- 12:14Speaker 7: a nice golf course.
- 12:15Speaker 2: It does. I mean, I think this is okay, and
- 12:17Speaker 2: I also i'd go eat with you.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:19Speaker 3: If if it's somewhere I have to google the dress code,
- 12:22Speaker 3: I'm probably not going You get like dress chic resort casual.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I'm like, what does even that mean? No? No, can
- 12:30Speaker 2: I wear this?
- 12:30Speaker 4: I mean literally, we see that thing and I ask
- 12:32Speaker 4: my wife, can I wear this?
- 12:34Speaker 2: Right exactly? Because I don't know what that means.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I'm in an age now. If I got a google
- 12:37Speaker 3: a dress code or can't find parking, I'm going back home.
- 12:40Speaker 2: That happening.
- 12:41Speaker 4: We go to Brevard County. Uh, you know you hear
- 12:45Speaker 4: the advice dressed for a job you want? Yeah, okay,
- 12:48Speaker 4: this guy might have gone a little too literal with this.
- 12:50Speaker 4: He stayed past his checkout time at a hotel and
- 12:53Speaker 4: then he kind of refused to leave his room, so
- 12:56Speaker 4: they had to call deputies to get the guy in. So,
- 12:59Speaker 4: I mean, that's that's bad itself, right right, And then
- 13:02Speaker 4: when they go in and they finally get into the
- 13:03Speaker 4: room to take him away, he's wearing a jail uniform.
- 13:07Speaker 2: He had stolen. Oh, he stolen did didn't even have
- 13:10Speaker 2: to change his car.
- 13:11Speaker 7: He's good and now they'll give him one for free.
- 13:16Speaker 2: And it's so good to be with you.
- 13:18Speaker 4: This Wednesday looks like it's going to be like Tuesday,
- 13:20Speaker 4: just like weatherwise, because it's kind of more of the
- 13:22Speaker 4: same of what we had yesterday.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Just a tad warmer maybe yeah.
- 13:25Speaker 3: A little backdoor coldfront starting to move out of here,
- 13:27Speaker 3: uh huh, and gonna be nice tomorrow and Friday, dryer, warmer.
- 13:32Speaker 2: TIMPs back into the eighties.
- 13:34Speaker 3: But then in the weekend of the front pushing in,
- 13:36Speaker 3: we'll have TIMPs back into the seventies. Little northeaster, little
- 13:40Speaker 3: nor'easter rolling through, not as usually when you hear northeaster,
- 13:42Speaker 3: you think cold.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah, not going to be cold, but not gonna be
- 13:46Speaker 2: what we've had the last couple of years. And then
- 13:47Speaker 2: Chamber Chamber of Commers won't be taking video, no, no, no,
- 13:50Speaker 2: not what we've had.
- 13:51Speaker 3: But yesterday we were running out to the car yesterday,
- 13:53Speaker 3: John and I.
- 13:54Speaker 2: You were running to your truck. You guys were heading
- 13:57Speaker 2: to Clay County and it.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Was windy, and I said John, These are the days
- 14:02Speaker 3: they need to advertise so that people thought everybody and
- 14:05Speaker 3: their brother stops moving here. Yeah, like yesterday, this is
- 14:08Speaker 3: what it's like in Florida. Not this can be this
- 14:11Speaker 3: can be this a lot, not last weekend at the
- 14:13Speaker 3: beach when it was eighty and Sonny and out of
- 14:15Speaker 3: cloud in the sky. Don't don't show those days.
- 14:16Speaker 4: We can use it as a deterrent and go. Dear Chicago,
- 14:20Speaker 4: this is what March is sometimes with us. You don't
- 14:22Speaker 4: necessarily need to move here.
- 14:23Speaker 6: Hey, the delusion is real because what five months ago,
- 14:26Speaker 6: before I.
- 14:27Speaker 7: Came down here to hang out with you guys every day,
- 14:29Speaker 7: I really thought that every single day was going to
- 14:31Speaker 7: be a paradise, Like when I booked my one week
- 14:33Speaker 7: vacation to Florida. Like I've been shocked. I'm like, I
- 14:36Speaker 7: cannot believe it's cold here like this. I can't believe
- 14:39Speaker 7: it's gloomy all day it is.
- 14:41Speaker 6: It's like a delusion. It's the Florida effect. Everyone thinks
- 14:44Speaker 6: this is paradise.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Don't stop we maybe they don't make our necessary journeys. Girl, Yeah, yes,
- 14:50Speaker 2: I'll come to Florida.
- 14:51Speaker 7: You'll come to Florida to swim in the sea through it.
- 14:55Speaker 2: So today is opening day from Major League Baseball.
- 14:58Speaker 3: All right, I'm not a huge baseball fan, but it's
- 15:01Speaker 3: still it's it's just a it's an American pastime.
- 15:04Speaker 2: That is, that's an American thing. Opening day for baseball.
- 15:06Speaker 2: It is spring. Let's you know. Spring is here. It is.
- 15:09Speaker 4: It's kind of like the beginning. It's like fresh starts.
- 15:12Speaker 4: If you love fresh starts. This is opening day of baseball.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Is like that because your favorite team, before you know it,
- 15:17Speaker 4: it's going to be forty games out of first place
- 15:19Speaker 4: and no chance for the playoffs.
- 15:20Speaker 2: So right now we're all tied for first.
- 15:22Speaker 7: Yeah, it is a great feeling, especially when you when
- 15:25Speaker 7: your team's a loser team.
- 15:27Speaker 6: Oh yeah, we're not a loser yet.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Hey, we're only a game out.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I'll tell you. Looking at looking at the weather. So
- 15:34Speaker 3: New York, because the Yankees played today, I think they
- 15:36Speaker 3: open it. Yeah, the Yankees at San Francisco. Francisco, they opened.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Luckily they're not home. It's thirty in New York right now. Dang,
- 15:42Speaker 3: it is going to be in the twenties in New
- 15:45Speaker 3: York this weekend at night.
- 15:47Speaker 2: So relatively speaking, this is paradise down here. I guess
- 15:49Speaker 2: you're right. And then next week it's going to be
- 15:51Speaker 2: eighty two in New York.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Oh two, They're gonna have a sixty degree weather change
- 15:56Speaker 3: in a matter of from Sunday night to Thursday.
- 15:59Speaker 4: And as we learned, as we learned from the doctor,
- 16:01Speaker 4: that is a cold and blue season kind of thing.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It absolutely is. Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 3: So yeah, so Yankee start today major League Baseball back
- 16:06Speaker 3: our Jimbo Shrimp started here at home on Friday night.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's Friday night.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Yes, they do, they start on Friday.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Yeah, he's the best friend. Gonna be out there hanging
- 16:14Speaker 2: out with the kids. Scamp scamp pop.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Okay, before we dive into the three. Yeah, we went
- 16:19Speaker 4: to the Clay County Fair for the luncheon yesterday and
- 16:21Speaker 4: it was so wonderful.
- 16:22Speaker 2: We had a great time.
- 16:22Speaker 4: We sat with h We sat with a girl that
- 16:25Speaker 4: won the scholars scholarship, Abigail from Clay High and her
- 16:29Speaker 4: mom Amy. They were wonderful people. But as we walk
- 16:32Speaker 4: up there is a mascot frog. There is the pig mascot.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Have you ever seen that pig mascot at the Clay
- 16:37Speaker 4: County Fair. I mean we turned the corner to walk
- 16:39Speaker 4: into the entrance and we're kind of being funneled in there,
- 16:42Speaker 4: and then there's a pig like forcing hugs on people.
- 16:46Speaker 7: His hugs were very dexterous because he was grabbing people
- 16:49Speaker 7: left and right.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Is you hugging?
- 16:50Speaker 7: No? What?
- 16:51Speaker 6: John was a human shield. I moved.
- 16:54Speaker 7: I did a maneuver around John to block at the
- 16:58Speaker 7: right moment, because I know these ascots and when you
- 17:01Speaker 7: try to divert too early, that's when they get you
- 17:04Speaker 7: in their hoofs. And this guy was not playing around.
- 17:08Speaker 7: I mean he was hugging people left and right, and
- 17:10Speaker 7: we're not talking like a little hi buddy, how you doing?
- 17:13Speaker 7: You know, this is like a full on you were
- 17:15Speaker 7: stuck in the pig arms.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Little meat hug wasn't doing that.
- 17:19Speaker 2: It's a bacon hug that It's not poor cook John
- 17:22Speaker 2: Brandon interference.
- 17:23Speaker 4: I did I did? She she went outside. I kind
- 17:25Speaker 4: of walked and we went fast while he was a
- 17:27Speaker 4: midhug with others. So you're saying John's redeemed himself from
- 17:30Speaker 4: the scampy episode. Now, yeah, I guess have I redeemed myself?
- 17:36Speaker 6: I mean, you guys, it is what it is. You know,
- 17:40Speaker 6: I still like you guys.
- 17:41Speaker 2: But yeah, South Paul, if you're listing, head on over
- 17:45Speaker 2: to the radio seats.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Yeah, maybe not today. You just wait a little bit. Okay,
- 17:48Speaker 7: wait a little bit.
- 17:50Speaker 6: When I'm calling sick.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Three things on this checks Wednesday.
- 17:53Speaker 5: What is going on?
- 17:54Speaker 7: There's an aerospace company setting up shop at Secol Airport.
- 17:58Speaker 7: They're doing a demo in one of the hangars and
- 18:00Speaker 7: they're like expanding a lot. What's really cool is it's
- 18:04Speaker 7: all because of this aircraft they want to build, called
- 18:07Speaker 7: a Phantom three hundred.
- 18:08Speaker 6: It sounds real like fancy, it does, and it is fancy.
- 18:12Speaker 7: They're expecting to provide twelve hundred jobs in the next
- 18:16Speaker 7: fourteen years spread out.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Wow, so lots of jobs.
- 18:18Speaker 7: Yeah, it is really cool. After thirty years, Flies Tie
- 18:22Speaker 7: Irish Pub on Atlantic Beach closed its doors last night.
- 18:26Speaker 7: They had their final last call. This was my favorite
- 18:29Speaker 7: place that I came and it's sad to see it go.
- 18:32Speaker 7: But there's no news on what's happening to that property.
- 18:36Speaker 7: If they're going to bulldoze, if someone else will buy it,
- 18:38Speaker 7: we don't know yet. Florida State and the Gators Florida.
- 18:42Speaker 7: They had their baseball game last night in the gators
- 18:44Speaker 7: and no decision one.
- 18:47Speaker 6: Is this swamp you do the chop playing with your hands?
- 18:50Speaker 2: Chomp, don't say chop, chomp?
- 18:51Speaker 4: Is it? Which the chop came first about a decade
- 18:55Speaker 4: or so before they decided to think of some kind
- 18:57Speaker 4: of something to do with their hands.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Floridas have been around longer.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Yeah, that's We actually won a championship before you did
- 19:02Speaker 4: that better and longer, and we won a national championship before.
- 19:05Speaker 6: They did obviously worse. What house in this studio.
- 19:10Speaker 2: In Florida state?
- 19:11Speaker 4: More than you beating us, we gave you fifty We
- 19:12Speaker 4: gave you a fifty year head start, and we won
- 19:14Speaker 4: a national championship before, more than you've beaten us. First
- 19:17Speaker 4: ten years you played the Women's college. I'm pretty sure
- 19:19Speaker 4: we've beaten you more than you've beaten us.
- 19:20Speaker 6: Necessary things you need to know.
- 19:22Speaker 2: There you go. This is more things you don't need
- 19:24Speaker 2: to know.
- 19:24Speaker 3: If you want to play pop whiz, call us right
- 19:26Speaker 3: now nine oh four, please call shut us up. Ninety
- 19:29Speaker 3: nine call us nine and ten. You're going to tour
- 19:31Speaker 3: to the Music Festival Fort Lauderdale Beach.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Uh.
- 19:34Speaker 2: While you do that, this seminal is going to give
- 19:35Speaker 2: you the traffic.
- 19:36Speaker 6: Welcome to My life in your world.
- 19:38Speaker 4: On the road to ninety five southbound ramp to ninety
- 19:41Speaker 4: five southbound, there's a wreck over off the shoulder.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Aside from that, just a normal We were talking dress codes.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, so many places are having dress codes now, and
- 19:48Speaker 3: it makes you think sometimes they're confusing. You're not exactly
- 19:51Speaker 3: sure what's okay to wear and what's not okay to wear.
- 19:53Speaker 3: But are they necessary?
- 19:55Speaker 4: Amber, we're hearing from you at nine oh four three,
- 19:57Speaker 4: at eight thirty six ninety nine. Thank you for listen
- 20:00Speaker 4: and thanks for calling on what you got.

- 20:08Speaker 7: like you shouldn't be somewhat covered up.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yeah, if you go to a country show sometimes I
- 20:13Speaker 3: do see people wearing things sometimes and I'm like, did
- 20:15Speaker 3: they know they were coming to the country show or
- 20:17Speaker 3: did the house catch fire and they ran out in
- 20:19Speaker 3: their lingerie?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah? Right, yeah, make.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Sure wonder Thank you, Amber, We appreciate you you too,

- 20:33Speaker 1: they do. They will not allow you to board a plane.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You have to look it up to get everything. But
- 20:39Speaker 1: people coming in there looking like they're in their pajamas.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Uh uh, nope, and certain they can't wear clogs. They've
- 20:46Speaker 1: got a dress code.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Now, did see that? Pajamas and crops? There are out
- 20:49Speaker 2: a lot of tia. I did see. I did see that.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yes they are. Isn't that crazy?
- 20:53Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 20:54Speaker 1: I mean I'm glad for the pajamas because some of
- 20:56Speaker 1: those people that come to the airport are looking like
- 20:58Speaker 1: they just rolled out to get your own time.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So anyway, I.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Can't wear a sweatpants and say juicy on the bun
- 21:04Speaker 3: I can't wear those anymore.
- 21:06Speaker 1: No, no, Froggy, you cannot look decent.
- 21:10Speaker 6: Do it for Lisa.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna clean myself up on your children and
- 21:17Speaker 1: your children you know they talk in opportune time.
- 21:26Speaker 2: You calling in guy? All right, Megan, I'm gonna need
- 21:31Speaker 2: you to pick up the dress code. Okay, I can't
- 21:35Speaker 2: covering her up though exactly.
- 21:39Speaker 3: A pop quiz for tickets to Tortuga Music Festival, where
- 21:42Speaker 3: there will.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Be no dress Kirsten on the West Side, we start
- 21:45Speaker 4: with you. One of the headliners of Tortuga is post malone.
- 21:48Speaker 4: How old is he?
- 21:49Speaker 7: Uh?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Thirty six Lindsay, is he older or younger than thirty six?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Older?
- 21:55Speaker 4: He's actually younger, younger. He just turned thirty thirty years old. Wow,
- 21:59Speaker 4: whole post. You been at it for a while at
- 22:02Speaker 4: started young. So Kirsten's going to get that point. That
- 22:05Speaker 4: was good true, All right, here we go. Survey question Lindsey,
- 22:09Speaker 4: This questions for you. What percentage of US households grows
- 22:14Speaker 4: something they eat, such as vegetables, fruits, or even herbs.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Lindsey, what number do you think that is? Kirsten?
- 22:23Speaker 4: Is that number high or lower? I stay lower only
- 22:27Speaker 4: by one thirty nine percent. Lindsay. That was such a
- 22:30Speaker 4: great guess. Made it tough on Kirsten, but she went
- 22:32Speaker 4: in the right direction. Kriston's going to be our winner today. Lindsey.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Thank you so much for playing. We appreciate you. Try
- 22:41Speaker 4: again this week. Thank you, Lindsey.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Bye byee hi Kirsten.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Congratulations apair of weekend passes for the Tortuga Music Festival.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you're gonna have a good time. Riley
- 22:54Speaker 2: Green post alone Kenny Chesney on.
- 22:56Speaker 4: The Beach began and Jacksonville's Fire and Rescue Department is here. JFRD.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Now in the house and listen to that.
- 23:05Speaker 2: There you go.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Yes, our fire alarm is going off. It's been going
- 23:10Speaker 4: hu for twenty minutes. But the good people, right after
- 23:12Speaker 4: the pop quiz it started going off. The good friends
- 23:15Speaker 4: at JFRD are here making sure everything's fine. We're thinking
- 23:19Speaker 4: it's a false alarm.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I walked around the entire building and I didn't see anything.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I walked right outside and see anything. They showed up.
- 23:26Speaker 3: They said the same thing.
- 23:27Speaker 2: YEP.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I told him I was really not concerned at the
- 23:31Speaker 3: at the rate of the quality of equipment that we
- 23:33Speaker 3: had here this place caught on fire. I wouldn't I
- 23:35Speaker 3: wouldn't call the fart apartment. I just wait until they
- 23:38Speaker 3: got a really good burn and hang it up. Then
- 23:40Speaker 3: I called the cart department, but they said that they
- 23:43Speaker 3: don't believe there's a fire anywhere.
- 23:44Speaker 2: No, But I talked to the chief engineer.
- 23:46Speaker 3: He's like, you guys really should evacuate the building when
- 23:49Speaker 3: that thing starts going off.
- 23:50Speaker 2: I'm like, well and go where? Like, what are we
- 23:52Speaker 2: gonna do?
- 23:53Speaker 6: We look for the fire, we couldn't find.
- 23:56Speaker 2: One, and we're on the air. The fire.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Yeah, so we're good. So if you hear this a
- 24:01Speaker 4: faint beeping in the background, it's us just getting through it.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Hopefully your day it works, is out. But I will
- 24:06Speaker 4: tell you this, it'll wake up. I was always walking
- 24:09Speaker 4: around looking for the fire.
- 24:09Speaker 3: I don't want to say who it was, but I
- 24:11Speaker 3: saw somebody who works here getting in their car and leaving.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I'm out of here.
- 24:15Speaker 6: Can you blame them?
- 24:16Speaker 3: I don't know if they pulled it. They didn't want
- 24:18Speaker 3: to say them, but I'm just I don't want to
- 24:20Speaker 3: if that person, I don't want to incriminated anyone. I
- 24:23Speaker 3: don't know if they don't kill.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Farm and what. But I'm telling you I saw them.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Well that we'll have to see if said sales representative
- 24:33Speaker 4: has a big meeting or something today.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Oh I did.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I just saw this person get in there they were
- 24:41Speaker 3: they were backing out of the parking spot and driving off.
- 24:45Speaker 2: And this is like seven forty something. Yeah, that's ear.
- 24:48Speaker 2: It's early for them to be early.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Yes, I'm not saying that's what happened, but I'm not
- 24:54Speaker 3: saying this is also what didn't happen either.
- 24:55Speaker 6: I mean, if you have a morning appointment and you
- 24:57Speaker 6: have no PTO.
- 24:58Speaker 4: If there's an investment, I mean it's an option. If
- 25:01Speaker 4: there's an investigation, you'll have to be a witness for
- 25:03Speaker 4: us car. And I was a witness.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I know what I saw.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Oh here, we hope you're doing well. The day works entertainment, Frocky,
- 25:10Speaker 4: John and Megan, and outside it's nicer. I pulled around
- 25:13Speaker 4: to welcome the fire warmed it's it's nice. I sat
- 25:16Speaker 4: in the car the whole time.
- 25:17Speaker 3: I don't I don't take John's ut John's idea right
- 25:20Speaker 3: up in my idea warmed up here two different things.
- 25:23Speaker 2: You got a point.
- 25:24Speaker 6: Yeah, they're completely sixty.
- 25:25Speaker 2: It's sixty right now.
- 25:27Speaker 6: But the sun's not white.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Is the wind blow right? Yeah? A little bit? Okay,
- 25:30Speaker 2: then it's cold.
- 25:32Speaker 3: I found when the fire department guys walked in, I
- 25:34Speaker 3: told them about my space heater.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Immediately, I'm like, he did not.
- 25:37Speaker 6: Why did you tell them about it?
- 25:39Speaker 3: Because you want to be up front. I'm like, hey,
- 25:41Speaker 3: it's there's a space heater under there, that's not the problem.
- 25:43Speaker 3: They're like, nope, you're all good.
- 25:44Speaker 2: You gotta tell them.
- 25:45Speaker 7: You shouldn't have read it on us though, because we
- 25:47Speaker 7: can't make it through the morning without this heater.
- 25:49Speaker 6: They can't take it from.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Us, which you didn't. You didn't divulge the fact that
- 25:52Speaker 4: the thing is melded. Oh there they are, Bye bye
- 25:56Speaker 4: fire department.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Driving around. It is just driving around.
- 26:02Speaker 6: I wish they could have turned off our lights or
- 26:04Speaker 6: at least the noise.
- 26:05Speaker 3: They can They said they can't. They said, we've got
- 26:07Speaker 3: to call an engineer and he's got to call building maintenance. Right,
- 26:09Speaker 3: and then they go, hey, we put out fires. We
- 26:11Speaker 3: don't deal with security systems.
- 26:13Speaker 2: The person who I saw driving away is cool as
- 26:21Speaker 2: we can put her on the air.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Oh ask her, okay, way, Oh that's funny.
- 26:29Speaker 6: Maybe she's got a guilty conscience.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Let's call her from the hot line. All right, let's
- 26:34Speaker 2: get three.
- 26:36Speaker 7: We know one fire, no fire, No, there's no fire
- 26:40Speaker 7: in our building, thankfully. But there are some people that
- 26:43Speaker 7: have been criminally charged for their license plate holders on
- 26:46Speaker 7: the cars. You guys know that the sixty days in jail,
- 26:50Speaker 7: some people actually have gone to jail for.
- 26:52Speaker 2: One guy that's crazy.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Then the guy that you know gone, the two people down,
- 26:55Speaker 3: then ponavidra at just right Acruss strip from the players
- 26:59Speaker 3: the walk. That guy have been rented twenty seven times
- 27:02Speaker 3: for violent, for violent, like twenty seven arrests. He's out,
- 27:06Speaker 3: You're going to jail for sixteen days with a licensed
- 27:08Speaker 3: tag cover. I mean like something's off here. Flipped the situation.
- 27:12Speaker 7: Well, it might there might be a change in the
- 27:15Speaker 7: future because the federal government's looking down saying we don't
- 27:18Speaker 7: really know if the punishment fits the crime. Cecil Airport
- 27:21Speaker 7: is having a lot of changes. There's an aerospace company
- 27:25Speaker 7: called Auto who's coming in. They're doing some demo on
- 27:28Speaker 7: some hangars and they're setting up shop for this new
- 27:32Speaker 7: aircraft called the Phantom three hundred. They're expected to provide
- 27:36Speaker 7: a lot of jobs though over the course of the
- 27:38Speaker 7: next fourteen years, which is kind of cool.
- 27:40Speaker 2: It is Yep.
- 27:40Speaker 7: There's an iconic bar on Atlantic Beach called flies Tie,
