- 0:00Silver and gold investors. What if the US dollar collapsed,
- 0:05became worthless overnight? What if you woke up and suddenly
- 0:10those paper dollars that everyone in America thought were
- 0:13worth something were suddenly worth a lot, lot less?
- 0:18Now, look, the chances of that happening are probably pretty
- 0:22slim, but there's a reason why we can talk about it and why we
- 0:26need to talk about it. Because if we look at history
- 0:29and if we take a step back and look at what's going on in our
- 0:33country right now, aren't we actually watching the dollar
- 0:37become worthless in slow motion? And on top of that, hasn't
- 0:42history shown us, isn't history replete with examples of other
- 0:47countries who thought they ruled the world, who thought that
- 0:50everything would last forever only to find out that they would
- 0:54be met by currency collapse? And what would that do to the
- 0:58price of silver and to the price of gold?
- 1:01We're going to talk about that in this video again, right?
- 1:05I'm not predicting we're going to wake up tomorrow and that
- 1:07this will be the case. It could.
- 1:10There's a very slight chance. However, like I said, if we look
- 1:13look at history and if we look at what's actually going on
- 1:16right now with the Federal Reserve, who has a stated goal
- 1:21to make our currency worthless 2% per year at a time, I think
- 1:25it's something that we need to talk about.
- 1:27And you know what else we we we need to talk about.
- 1:30Thank you. Yeah, you.
- 1:33I'm talking to you. I see you.
- 1:34Thank you for being here in the basement.
- 1:36This is not possible without your participation and your
- 1:40support. You're welcome here.
- 1:41I hope you feel like you found a new little home away from home.
- 1:45A lot of us refer to ourselves as basement dwellers, but it's a
- 1:48big deal. Please subscribe to the channel,
- 1:50give the video a thumbs up. That'd be greatly appreciated.
- 1:53Super chats are are really helpful to help support the
- 1:57channel and the family. PayPal donations, any of that
- 1:59stuff, but please do not ever donate anything that you cannot
- 2:04afford. So I was watching a video
- 2:06yesterday, a guy named Noel Lorenzana, CPA, an accountant,
- 2:12huh? This guy made a great video
- 2:14about the the value of the dollar going worthless.
- 2:17I want to run out quickly and show you his channel because I
- 2:22was impressed. I actually invited him next week
- 2:25or the following week if he has time to come on and and talk to
- 2:29us on his thoughts about the potential for the dollar going
- 2:33down. But here's his channel.
- 2:34Noel Lorenza, Lorenzana. I'm sorry, let's get some other
- 2:38videos too that I've not well, there's the one I watched,
- 2:41Worthless. He's got one about Fort Knox.
- 2:43Is the US out of gold? Why you should be worried.
- 2:46So hopefully we'll have Noel on here next week.
- 2:49Now guys, why do we need to worry about the dollar
- 2:52collapsing overnight? Dollars are becoming worthless.
- 2:57Here's some examples. Right, here's some examples.
- 3:00Venezuela, right, just in recent history, people in Venezuela
- 3:05literally like would wake up or within the course of a week or a
- 3:09month, the price of everything in their country because the
- 3:13value of their what is it Bolivars, I believe is the name
- 3:16of their currency was collapsing over the course of a week Meet
- 3:21no, whatever fuel would go up 34567 times.
- 3:26It's real. I work with some Venezuelans
- 3:28that that immigrated here to the United States.
- 3:31Mama, right? She's like 78 years old and her
- 3:33son and his wife. And they will tell me when I
- 3:37talk to them absolutely how horrific it was in Venezuela.
- 3:42And I want to show you a chart of silver.
- 3:44This is the best I could come up with from Venezuela during that
- 3:50period. So if we look here, let me make
- 3:52sure I've got you on the screen, which I do.
- 3:56If we look at this chart, this is, believe it or not, this is
- 3:59the silver price in Venezuela. It's a five year chart.
- 4:03We go back to let's say January of 2021, OK, a ounce of silver
- 4:12cost 269. Excuse me, 270 Venezuelan
- 4:21Bolivar when the currency collapse said as you can see,
- 4:24the price just absolutely skyrocketed.
- 4:28Look, looks like it got to as high as is that 5 trillion.
- 4:32Let's see, 100,005 billion, 5 trillion, whatever the case may
- 4:37be, but that shows you what happened to silver in an
- 4:41environment where in Venezuela they had a major currency
- 4:45crisis. Can it happen in the United
- 4:47States? Absolutely.
- 4:49It could happen in the United States.
- 4:51There is a big difference between Venezuela and the United
- 4:54States, but there's not that big of a difference.
- 4:57OK, The other example, Zimbabwe, right?
- 5:01You've heard of the $1 trillion notes in Zimbabwe.
- 5:04A lot of people have them. They've tried to reset their
- 5:07currency like 5 or 6 Times Now. They're trying to, to, to, to
- 5:12hook it to gold to use like a gold standard, the zig currency,
- 5:15right? But now again, I think just
- 5:17recently they revalued that again, governments and countries
- 5:21have a real hard time with the discipline that's imposed upon
- 5:26them by precious metals, by the gold standard, by the silver
- 5:29standard. So Zimbabwe, same thing, right?
- 5:32Multiple times. What's the classic example of
- 5:38this happening? Germany.
- 5:39Weimar Germany, right after World War One, right?
- 5:42You had people that were using wheelbarrows full of cash.
- 5:46Wheelbarrows full of cash to buy loaves of bread, right?
- 5:50People would get paid and then rush out to the store to try to
- 5:54spend their money because it was becoming worthless so quickly.
- 5:58Little kids would use stacks of of whatever they were, Deutsche
- 6:02marks or Weimar marks, whatever they called them at the time to
- 6:05build like little castles, like Legos.
- 6:08OK, it can happen. And what's the common, right?
- 6:11Why? Why do we why do what?
- 6:13What do we see, right? What's the example that all
- 6:16three of those, and there's many other examples.
- 6:19You know what Lynette Zhang has piles of currencies, paper, you
- 6:24know, Fiat currencies that have gone to 0.
- 6:27But what's the common thread between all those countries?
- 6:29Too much debt. What's going on in the United
- 6:33States right now? Too much debt.
- 6:36OK. And what do people do in these
- 6:38countries? We talked about this yesterday,
- 6:40so we're just going to go to the headline on this, but what do
- 6:43people do when they live in these countries that have
- 6:47experienced hyperinflation, have been experienced currency
- 6:51crisis? They go to gold, they go to
- 6:53silver. And to me, that explains why,
- 6:57you know, here's a great example from the Jerusalem Post about
- 7:00Germany. Gold, still the third most
- 7:03popular investment in Germany, right?
- 7:06Germans remember, they remember the stories that they heard from
- 7:11their grandparents, from their from their parents about what
- 7:15can happen with paper money. It's happening right now in
- 7:18China. The other night I have a little
- 7:21job, I work in the evening where I get exposure to a lot of
- 7:24people that are very highly educated.
- 7:26OK. And I'm not real impressed by pH
- 7:28DS, but this guy's a Chinese man from China with a pH D here in
- 7:33Saint Louis doing medical research, Very smart guy.
- 7:36And the same thing is happening right now in China.
- 7:40People don't trust the currency. People don't trust the banks.
- 7:43People don't trust the stock market, okay?
- 7:46And they're buying gold that that's what that's the big
- 7:49reason why the Chinese and now they're starting to buy silver
- 7:52as well. But can it happen back to our
- 7:54subject in the what would it be like, Okay, what would it be
- 7:57like in the United States if this were to happen?
- 8:01Think about the banks, right? Waking up in that money that you
- 8:05thought you did have in your bank, even though now it's
- 8:07worthless. Likely the banks would stop
- 8:10functioning for a period of time.
- 8:11Businesses wouldn't know what to do.
- 8:14It would be mayhem, right? With hyperinflation, the bit
- 8:17businesses would be absolutely, you know, groceries would be
- 8:21skyrocketing. The stock market would be going
- 8:23crazy. Could the government fix it?
- 8:26Right? If we get into this situation,
- 8:29could the government fix it? I don't know.
- 8:31How did they fix the tech bubble?
- 8:33They printed money. How did they fix the great
- 8:36financial crisis? They printed money.
- 8:40How did they fix what happened back in 2020 during that health
- 8:44crisis? They printed money.
- 8:47The only thing. Do you see a trend here, guys?
- 8:50Do you see a trend? The only thing when we look at
- 8:54the examples of what our government has done with the
- 8:57Federal Reserve, which really isn't part of our government,
- 9:00but we'll leave that for a different story.
- 9:02The only examples that we can come up with with how they've
- 9:04reacted to crisis situations is what you got it print money is
- 9:10that does that explain why when we even look at the chart of the
- 9:14US of, of, of, of silver and gold priced in U.S. dollars, why
- 9:18it's continuing to go up when we realized that since 1971 when
- 9:24President Nixon temporarily, right, took the dollar off the
- 9:29gold standard, that the price of gold has only gone up.
- 9:32I read the other day that the dollar has lost 99% of its value
- 9:39relative to gold since 1971. I mean, what is that telling us?
- 9:44So can it happen? Can't we?
- 9:46Could you wake up? Imagine Buttercup.
- 9:50Don't worry. Hopefully I will still be able
- 9:52to do our daily broadcast together.
- 9:54But waking up and the dollar has lost 80 percent, 70% of its
- 10:00value. I'm not saying, I'm not saying
- 10:01it's going to happen tomorrow or next week or the following week
- 10:05or, or ever or it will. Like that's one of my points.
- 10:08It will eventually happen, OK? It's either going to happen
- 10:13really slowly like we've seen over the last 50 years, like
- 10:17boiling a frog. You ever hear that like us
- 10:19Americans are like boiled frogs, Slowly, slowly, slowly, little
- 10:23bit, little bit. Some years 1%, some years 2%,
- 10:27some years 5%. Couple years ago they stole
- 10:30almost 20% of our buying power. It happens very slowly or it
- 10:35could happen very quickly. There's nothing that absolutely
- 10:40eliminates that. Think about what's going on one
- 10:42week from today, and we're going to talk more about it later,
- 10:47right? Half the world's an organization
- 10:50that represents whatever it is, half the world's population.
- 10:53The BRICS meeting in Russia, right?
- 10:56You got 3545. Who knows?
- 10:58It's hard to keep track of the number of countries that want to
- 11:00join BRICS. What if they decide, you know,
- 11:03I'm not, I'm just being real here.
- 11:06We're just being real. We cannot absolutely eliminate,
- 11:11cannot absolutely eliminate the prospect that the dollar could
- 11:15face a real crisis at some point, like an immediate quick
- 11:21crisis. And at minimum, we know that the
- 11:24dollar's facing a crisis in a slow motion pattern.
- 11:27Is that why? I'll ask you, is that why you
- 11:30own silver and gold? I think you're shaking your head
- 11:33up and down with me. That's why.
- 11:34I mean, when you take a step back and look at this, it's just
- 11:37it's absolutely crazy. OK?
- 11:39Would this be now, this is where it gets interesting.
- 11:43If we were to have this crisis situation, would that be the the
- 11:48moment when they want to switch us all onto this new CBDC?
- 11:53We don't talk about? Nobody talks about CBDC anymore.
- 11:56That was like the hot topic 19 months ago.
- 11:59All right, Isn't that a lot of times when things happen, when
- 12:03nobody's talking about them, nobody's thinking about them?
- 12:05Would a dollar crisis, a paper Unicorn, fart dust, whatever you
- 12:09want to call it, dollar crisis? Would that be the moment where
- 12:13the government says, Oh my gosh, we know the grocery stores,
- 12:16blah, blah. Here, use the new download this
- 12:18app. Use the new CBDC.
- 12:20It's hooked into the Fed Now program.
- 12:22We'll take care of you Americans.
- 12:24We're taking. We don't know, OK.
- 12:28Or would it be the return to the gold standard?
- 12:33Well, we know what the world central banks are doing with
- 12:36gold. Would that be the time?
- 12:38I think at minimum, at minimum a massive crisis, if it were to
- 12:43happen in the dollar would be a would be a the catalyst isn't
- 12:49even the correct word. It would be the IT would be the
- 12:52aha moment for silver and gold at minimum.
- 12:56Now the official return to a gold standard.
- 12:59We don't know. We don't know what the the the
- 13:01world's big central bankers have cooked up.
- 13:03We may get a real good glimpse of what they have cooked up here
- 13:08in one week when they have this massive bricks meeting.
- 13:11So we're going to be keeping an eye on that.
- 13:13But the dollar would no longer no longer be good as gold.
- 13:17OK, And I'd say this, it's even not just the United States.
- 13:22The whole world is in big trouble right now.
- 13:25We have a worldwide debt, a worldwide debt crisis, scary
- 13:30situation. Why is that important, right?
- 13:34Because we're talking about 330 trillion trillion dollars in
- 13:39worldwide debt, higher than it's ever, ever, ever been in the in
- 13:44the sad part is right. There's everybody thinks they're
- 13:48owed that money. Everybody thinks that's coming
- 13:50to them. I mean, think about this.
- 13:51Here's an example. If you're on a pension from a,
- 13:55let's say you were a union and I loved unions.
- 13:57I was a union steel worker when I was in college.
- 14:00Let's say I was on the steel Workers Union pension.
- 14:03And I don't know that I'm just using this as an example.
- 14:05I'm on you're on some type of pension.
- 14:08That pension owns bonds, right? And that pensions ability to pay
- 14:13its pensioners is dependent upon those bonds being good, being
- 14:17real, right? So, so there's $330 million
- 14:21worth of debt bonds, right? And if somebody that those are
- 14:25the real people who think they're owed that money, even
- 14:28the pensioner, he may not realize it, but you know, he
- 14:31owns some bonds and whatever the United States Treasury or maybe
- 14:36whatever Brazil, who knows. And it's almost impossible for
- 14:40all this that to be paid back. So we are in a massive, massive
- 14:46situation right now on a worldwide basis, which is not
- 14:50good. I'm afraid to be so doom and
- 14:52gloom this morning. And the good news is, let's see
- 14:56what's the good news. Oh, yeah, silver and gold have
- 14:58seen this monkey show many times for thousands of years and
- 15:04they've been just fine. So that in mind, wait a minute
- 15:09here, bear that in mind as we're as we're talking about the
- 15:12subject. OK, So are people going to want
- 15:15to go to a new CBDC? Are people going to want to go
- 15:18to cryptocurrency? That's the other option.
- 15:20We'll take the day. Well, if things are too bad, we
- 15:24may not have Internet or electricity, right?
- 15:27So, you know, are people going to want to go to the new CBDC?
- 15:30Are people going to want to go to Bitcoin?
- 15:32I would, I would, I would say a minimum.
- 15:36There's going to be a lot of people who are going to be
- 15:38moving towards precious metal as the worldwide debt crisis gets
- 15:43worse and the United States crisis goes work.
- 15:46I mean, what's the one thing that's been there for everybody
- 15:52everywhere providing safety, security for all time?
- 16:01Gold. Silver.
- 16:02Think about it. No matter how ugly all this
- 16:05gets, no matter how potentially ugly, how bad the picture of a
- 16:09picture we can paint. What's the thing?
- 16:12And don't forget, even at golden store, security, safety value.
- 16:18Let me see something I'm going to bring up one more time.
- 16:21Let me show you my little friend.
- 16:23This is a she's the best. OK, I sound like arrows.
- 16:33Hold on. Susie says we have some audio
- 16:35problems. Hello.
- 16:36Hello. Hello.
- 16:37Hello. Hello.
- 16:39Hold on. Bear with me.
- 16:40Let me go to Audio Go Cancellation.
- 16:52I don't know, Susie. I just see your computer,
- 16:55sweetheart. Are people saying they hear
- 16:58echoes? Well, guys, I apologize.
- 17:06We may be having some Internet. Yeah, we're having Internet
- 17:10issues. OK, so we're having Internet
- 17:15issues. Guys, I apologize.
- 17:19Yep, I can see the little sun on the screen.
- 17:22So I'm just going to do the best I can hear.
- 17:25This is my three-year old. Even a three-year old knows even
- 17:29a three-year old note the gold and silver are the most
- 17:32valuable. She told me the other day when I
- 17:34saw her she wanted a gold ring and say gold wine.
- 17:37She said because gold is best. OK, I just give you guys an
- 17:42update. I can see I get a readout up on
- 17:44my screen. Either Stream yard is having
- 17:48some technical problems. I don't believe it's my Internet
- 17:51because it is up in cooking. So we're dealing with some
- 17:55technical issues this morning. I apologize for the bad audio.
- 17:59I apologize for the bad video. But really, I know you're not
- 18:04here to look at my pretty face. We're here.
- 18:05Here we go. It's getting better now.
- 18:07It should be back. It should be better now.
- 18:09Let me know guys, if things look better.
- 18:11Thank you. A three-year old knows it.
- 18:14OK. Other tangible real assets will
- 18:16do well if we face this crisis coming right where the dollar
- 18:20does become worth less. Other tangible real assets, what
- 18:26else do you think would do? Well, you know, a few examples.
- 18:29Real estate could do very well, Oil, right, forest land,
- 18:34anything real collectibles, There's all types of other real
- 18:38assets that could do well in that.
- 18:40Because right now, the fact is, as we look at the dollar
- 18:44collapsing, what do we know? And we know that the government
- 18:47is printing money like crazy. We're going to go out and do our
- 18:50daily update of the of the US debt clock here in a second.
- 18:54We're racking up debt like crazy.
- 18:57And we know also that the world is moving away from the dollar.
- 19:02So think about this. Think about this.
- 19:05Why is it so scary where we are right now with the dollar, OK?
- 19:09Because fundamentally what our government is doing, racking up
- 19:15all this debt, right, putting us in this horrible financial
- 19:18situation in this country that's bad for the dollar, while
- 19:23simultaneously, right, simultaneously the world is also
- 19:28recognizing that and moving away from the dollar, right?
- 19:32The dollar dominated the world for the last 50 years.
- 19:37I don't like it. Remember, guys, right?
- 19:39I'm a, I'm a, I'm an American. I love my, my, my country, but
- 19:43there's this big elephant in the room is the United States
- 19:47government has, has, has just, it's a tragedy what they're
- 19:52doing with our financial situation in this country on one
- 19:56hand, at the same time, the world, which the world has been
- 20:00saturated with dollars saturated.
- 20:03The world is saying bye bye. We're not interested anymore.
- 20:08Again, I don't like it. It's not good for me.
- 20:10It's not good for my kids. Do you feel like it's not
- 20:12probably not good for your kids either?
- 20:14But it is the reality of what's going on, right?
- 20:17And again, history is replete with examples of what's going of
- 20:21this happening, even if it doesn't happen in an instant
- 20:25where you wake up, right? At minimum, we know the Federal
- 20:31Reserve is, is their their goal, their stated objective is for
- 20:36the dollar to go down in value by 2% every year.
- 20:40That's what the inflation target is.
- 20:42They can call it the oh, we want to keep, why do we have to have
- 20:45inflation? Let me tell you something.
- 20:47Here's a great example, right over, over decades and decades,
- 20:52when this country was on the gold standard and we had silver
- 20:55in our money, we didn't have inflation anything like we have
- 20:58now. I heard somebody say the other
- 21:00day that we had no inflation. So why do we have to have
- 21:04inflation? I'll tell you why.
- 21:06So they can enrich the bankers. The Federal Reserve is owned by
- 21:10the banks. Why do we have to have
- 21:12inflation? Thank you.
- 21:13Hey, Noel. There's Noel.
- 21:16Yeah, Noel inspired this discussion today.
- 21:18Thank you, my friend. That's Noel, man, really a great
- 21:22channel, guys. Check it out.
- 21:24I'm telling you, good, smart guy.
- 21:25And hopefully we're going to have him on here next week.
- 21:28Thank you, Noel. Why do we have to have
- 21:30inflation? Why?
- 21:31Why that? That's a good question.
- 21:35So at minimum, we know that the, the dollar becoming worthless is
- 21:39happening right now. It happened a little faster back
- 21:43in 2022, but it's happening at minimum in very slow motion.
- 21:47What did we just hear last week? The, the, the, the official
- 21:51inflation number was up and it was at like 2.6%.
- 21:54OK, congratulations, right? The Federal Reserve took, took,
- 22:01took on an AI, don't know if it was annualized or what it was,
- 22:04but they took 2.6 per percent of your money for the average
- 22:07American who works hard and saves money.
- 22:09OK, so I beat that one to death. I got in a little trouble
- 22:15yesterday with opening my mouth about the political situation in
- 22:20this country. I'm going to get, I have more to
- 22:22say about that in a second. Let's go out and check on the
- 22:26price of gold and silver though, 'cause we are live, baby.
- 22:28And don't forget, right, my good little friend, that's my cousin
- 22:32Timmy Ivy's little daughter. She's three years old and she
- 22:35thinks gold is best. So do we.
- 22:37All Right, let's get back here. All right, and here we are.
- 22:42Let's go out the pin backs. Wow.
- 22:44So I checked this right before I came live Silver, it actually
- 22:47gone up from being down about 14 cents.
- 22:51I'm going to press the magic button here and let's see OK,
- 22:54silver's down to cents, but still 3120 gold is hovering
- 22:59right at $2650 per oz. Let's go take a quick look here.
- 23:05I want to say thank you to channel sponsor Tim Beck's and I
- 23:09was looking at American Silver Eagles earlier, 2024, yeah,
- 23:14$35.49. Of course, that's at bulk and
- 23:19that's with a cash or ACH type price.
- 23:23And what I was really shocked by, we talked about this just
- 23:26the other day, the 2024 one ounce Australian Kangaroo for
- 23:32$33.54, basically $2.00 over spot.
- 23:39Guys, thank you. I want to say thank you to
- 23:41Pembex for sponsoring Ron's basement.
- 23:43Yeah, you know, I've worked with them on a personal level for
- 23:47over a year, actually year and a half.
- 23:49And they sponsored the channel now for over a year.
- 23:53What I feel so good about with them is the overwhelming
- 23:56positive response that I've received from the basement
- 23:59dweller community, people talking to the owners, people
- 24:03getting delivery, everyone. Like I said, it's been
- 24:05overwhelmingly positive. So I feel real good in just
- 24:09mentioning to you that you may want to consider checking out
- 24:13Pinbacks next time you are in the market for gold, silver or
- 24:16platinum group metals. You're going to find ultra
- 24:18competitive pricing, great selection and what is #1
- 24:23paramount in my book, a company that you can trust.
- 24:28All right, So thank you. And remember, if you ever decide
- 24:31to convert part or all of an individual retirement account
- 24:34into precious metals, take your time, shop around, OK, take your
- 24:39time. And you may also really benefit
- 24:42from talking to the guys at Pembacs and and comparing how
- 24:46many actual ounces of silver you can get for the amount of money
- 24:49that you're thinking about converting silver or gold for
- 24:52that matter. Thanks Penn Becks for sponsoring
- 24:55Ron's basement are the bricks. Let's talk about the bricks.
- 24:58We are one week away from the big bricks meeting, the big, big
- 25:03bricks meeting and there's some big news that we need to cover.
- 25:07Let's first go out here to AI think a great summation of what
- 25:13we know from in gold we trust again this starts in one week.
- 25:17Russia and China have announced to strengthen their military
- 25:21ties. Sri Lanka officially applied
- 25:24bricks said that it reached a quote very good agreement to
- 25:27settle international trade with national currencies.
- 25:31I don't we haven't heard any like recent news there was this
- 25:34speculation about a gold backed currency 40%.
- 25:38We'll see what comes of that. Russian and Chinese warships
- 25:45conduct joint, massive joint drills in the Pacific.
- 25:48I think they were like surrounding Taiwan.
- 25:51You know, this. It's very, very crazy right now.
- 25:54Serbia says sees joining BRICS as an alternative to join in the
- 25:59EU. And President Putin says 35
- 26:02countries have confirmed their participation in the upcoming
- 26:06BRICS summit in Russia. This is what is happening right
- 26:10now in our world. And we talked about the dollar
- 26:14stress, potential stress on the dollar.
- 26:16But the BRIC summit starts in one week.
- 26:19I mean, it's, it's the bifurcation, it's the splitting
- 26:23of the world right now. Remember guys, this was a world
- 26:28that that this was a world that up until just recently was
- 26:32dominated by the United States, which now it appears the world
- 26:36is splitting. Bifurcating is the fancy way to
- 26:39say that. And that we could see new
- 26:41financial systems, new new, new, new, new military alliances.
- 26:47It's going to be very interesting as we go out into
- 26:50the next year, 10 years, 20 years to see how this all
- 26:54develops. So let's run out here and look
- 26:57at one more big piece of news. This came from India.
- 27:03This is how India their their perspective on what is going on
- 27:07with the BRICS summit from the new Indian press. 34 countries
- 27:12have now officially applied for BRICS membership, 34 with 10 new
- 27:18members and 10 partners to be announced in the upcoming Brick
- 27:23Summit in Kazan to be held October 22nd, one week from
- 27:26today. Strife torn nations like
- 27:28Palestine, Syria and Miramar have also applied for
- 27:30membership. Prime Minister Modi and that's
- 27:33what I love about Indian websites.
- 27:35This is like a video game trying to close out all the pop ups.
- 27:38But Prime Minister Modi will attend, That's the President of
- 27:41India. The summit turning it to be his
- 27:46second visit to Russia within a span of three months.
- 27:51India, the Indian would be the second visit from the Indian
- 27:54president to Russia in three months.
- 27:57What does that tell us? Don't forget, this is India with
- 28:011.4 billion people, probably the fastest growing economy in the
- 28:05world. More of 100 million people are
- 28:08going to join the consumer class in India in the next 5 to 10
- 28:13years, right? And their president isn't coming
- 28:16to Washington. I won't go there anyway.
- 28:19He's going. He's been going to Russia.
- 28:21It'll be a second visit in three months.
- 28:24Speculations are rife that the Prime Minister Modi will have a
- 28:29bilateral meeting with the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
- 28:34Here, listen to this. There are nearly 34 countries
- 28:36that have communicated to bricks for being considered.
- 28:39These include in alphabetical order, Algeria, Azerbaijan,
- 28:43Bahran, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Chad, Republic of
- 28:47Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea.
- 28:52My neighbor, one of my best friends across the streets in
- 28:54Eritrean. Anyway, it's a country right
- 28:56next to Ethiopia, Honduras, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kuwait,
- 29:02and this is the video game Laos, Malaysia, Miramar, Morocco,
- 29:05Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal, South Sudan, Sri Lanka,
- 29:10Palestine, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Uzbekistan,
- 29:13Venezuela, Vietnam, Venezuela, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
- 29:18So those are all what we'd say. Oh, those are little countries.
- 29:21Add them all together and they're not.
- 29:23So they're going to add 10 partners and I believe 10 new
- 29:27members. So this bricks thing is real.
- 29:29It is growing. This is interesting.
- 29:34Iranian President Masoud Pazaki Kian is expected to be present,
- 29:39which will be his first visit to Russia since he assumed office.
- 29:46Turkish President Rasset Tayyip Eragon is attending the summit.
- 29:50UN secretary general is also there.
- 29:52So we have the president of Iran, right, which is really
- 29:57think about that. The president of Iran is going
- 30:00to be in Russia for these meetings, for the BRICS meeting,
- 30:05OK. The president of India is going
- 30:08to Russia for the second time. What does that tell us about
- 30:12what is going on in the world right now, guys?
- 30:15We are facing changes in our world that that, that I want you
- 30:20to think about this, OK, You know, congratulations.
- 30:24You know, you're in the know. You realize that there's this
- 30:27massive world changing meeting coming up in one week.
- 30:31I want you to think about, I don't know.
- 30:33I would say, what do you say? I would what percent?
- 30:36Let's, let's do, let's do a quiz here.
- 30:38What percent of Americans do you think right now know that the
- 30:42BRICS meeting is going to be coming up in one week in Russia
- 30:46and how critical it is? I would say maybe, maybe 3%.
- 30:53So I'm going to type 3. I'm just curious.
- 30:55I mean, most people in this country are clueless, right?
- 31:00They probably know more about, they know more about the NFL,
- 31:03which is fine. I'm not putting down football or
- 31:06baseball or anything like that. But they know more about the NFL
- 31:09than they do about world, about the, about the world, about
- 31:14world geopolitical changes that can have massive impacts.
- 31:17I mean, this is going to this is going to affect your life.
- 31:20This is going to affect their life.
- 31:21But hey, you know, they're just kind of out there in the in the
- 31:26in the ether, let's put it that way.
- 31:29Because right now we are in the precious metals battle of the
- 31:35ages. This is it.
- 31:37OK, we got the cage match. All right.
- 31:40Don't forget, that's what's going on.
- 31:42It's not just the USA versus bricks or the G7 versus bricks
- 31:47right now. What's really happening is a
- 31:50massive fight between the US dollar, OK, and precious metals.
- 31:56It's a cage match. And and look, if you and I were
- 32:00in in Vegas together having a good time, right?
- 32:04Having a real good time, and we had to bet on that fight, right?
- 32:08What would we look at? We would say, OK, so the dollar
- 32:11is fighting against precious metals.
- 32:14OK, Precious metals have been in the same fight, the same exact
- 32:18fight hundreds of times over thousands of years, and they
- 32:23have a perfect record. And then we could look at the
- 32:28dollar and say, well, the dollar's strong.
- 32:30It's the world's dominant currency.
- 32:32Yeah, sure. But over the last 50 years
- 32:36alone, the dollar has lost significant amounts of its of
- 32:41its value. All right, over the last year,
- 32:44over the last month, over the last five years, what's that
- 32:47statistic that we hear? What's a great example?
- 32:51Food, you know, I know food cost alone over the last four years,
- 32:55five years, they've gone up, what, 30% at minimum.
- 32:59That's the official number. So you got this, this, this,
- 33:03this cage match between precious metals and the dollar.
- 33:07And and you know, even me, I don't, I don't, I don't know
- 33:11about you, but I don't sometimes necessarily really realize that
- 33:14it's going on and realize how lopsided the fight is.
- 33:18It's a lopsided fight. OK, We got 700 people here in
- 33:22the basement. That's a big deal.
- 33:24Thank you guys for being here. So who we going to bet on?
- 33:27What where you going to place your bets?
- 33:29I mean, think about it, if you have to make a bet right now
- 33:32between this stuff and this OK, here, this this nice silver
- 33:38round that's that's the show and tell item of the day came from
- 33:41coin shop. Chris, who are you going to bet
- 33:43on? I'm close my eyes.
- 33:46I'm going to tell you something. This feels a lot lot better, a
- 33:50lot lot better. And you know why?
- 33:52Let me give you let me give you some a couple examples.
- 33:54It's not just it's not just you and me.
- 33:59OK, let's think who else is betting on precious metals?
- 34:02OK, I got to ring the cowbell. We had 200 thumbs up.
- 34:05Basement dwellers, it's time for me to share something with you.
- 34:07And that is our gratitude and appreciation that you're down
- 34:11here in the basement with us. OK, 700 people, it's a big deal.
- 34:16Thank you for all the thumbs up. Thank you for the subscriptions.
- 34:19Thank you for the Super chat, our friend Noel.
- 34:21Thank you. OK.
- 34:22And since we have 200 thumbs up, I'm going to ring the bell.
- 34:28But it's not just you and me and our fellow basement dwellers and
- 34:34all the other people out there, right?
- 34:36We're we're a part of this big precious metals community.
- 34:39No, it is. It is the central banks that are
- 34:43buying precious metals. Heck, Russia is even talking
- 34:45about silver. OK?
- 34:48It's not just us. It's sovereign wealth funds that
- 34:52are buying gold. It's family offices that are
- 34:55starting to buy gold. It's institutional investors.
- 34:59It's been happening in the Eastern countries for a long
- 35:02time. But guess what?
- 35:04It's starting to happen now and you want to hear something
- 35:06really exciting, Super exciting. Western investors don't really
- 35:12start to buy the precious metal ETS until about 30 days
- 35:17subsequent to an announcement of a rate decrease by the Federal
- 35:22Reserve. That's a statistical fact where
- 35:26what, 20 days out, maybe it feels like 20 days, three weeks,
- 35:29we haven't even reached that point yet where we could start
- 35:32to see big inflows into the precious metal ETS and that
- 35:36could explode the price of the precious metals.
- 35:41I mean, that's a fact, OK? That's an absolute fact because
- 35:44all this great price increase that we've had in silver and
- 35:47gold over the last, what I mean really year, year and a half,
- 35:52that's all been done without the help of any Western investment
- 35:56actually outflows for a lot of that period of time.
- 36:00Think about what happens when money, when the richest, the
- 36:03richest country in the world, the United States of America
- 36:06starts to buy the metals again. And remember the investment
- 36:11segment of the metals, that's where the big price change
- 36:14happens. That's the margin.
- 36:17Yeah, we know, like with silver, all this crazy amount of
- 36:21industrial demand, we know that, right?
- 36:24But but that little section of that market, that investment
- 36:30metal that's out there, it's somewhat limited, especially
- 36:34with silver. So right the, the, the
- 36:37industrial demand, although it's going up and up and up remains
- 36:40pretty steady. But where the big boom can occur
- 36:44is in the investment demand, in particular with silver, right?
- 36:49And sure, you and I being stackers, buying whatever,
- 36:52that'll help, But also if institutional investors start to
- 36:56play along, if people start to buy things like PSLV, the Sprott
- 37:01Physical Silver Trust out of Canada or in the United States.
- 37:05Instead, they choose to put their money into the SLVETF,
- 37:09which I think stores all its silver over, over at the LBMA in
- 37:13London, England, right? They got to buy Oz so it could
- 37:16get real interesting and it can happen.
- 37:19It can happen and it can happen very, very quickly, right?
- 37:23The smartest people. This is a fact guys realize that
- 37:27that opportunity for in particular with silver, right,
- 37:31extraordinary price increases that sits right there in that
- 37:36investment demand arena. And the good news is and I'll
- 37:40I'll I'll say it one more time, that the price of silver's done
- 37:43pretty well despite the fact that the investment demand has
- 37:46been decreasing, OK? So the fact that we're at this
- 37:52low level, right? And really the path of least
- 37:56resistance, the easiest way for for the for the silver
- 38:00investment demand to go will be to the upside.
- 38:03So it can get very interesting. It could happen very, very
- 38:06quickly if we want to switch back here to the United States
- 38:10economy. We had true value hardware claim
- 38:14bankruptcy. That was big news yesterday.
- 38:16Yesterday, OK, true value. I was shocked.
- 38:19And they're going to sell themselves.
- 38:21They're like, we can't make it post pandemic, things have been
- 38:25slow. So more great news from the US
- 38:28economy on top of the fact that we got Madison Square Garden
- 38:31full of people being laid off from Boeing with great benefits
- 38:35and great everything else but true value hardware.
- 38:38Really, right? I think they're headquartered in
- 38:40Chicago done gone, right. Well are they're going to be
- 38:45acquired. And again, the more now what
- 38:48about let's go, we have some fun.
- 38:51Let's go on a little field trip because we got to go check out
- 38:55the hold on here. We pull you guys up, Let's go
- 39:00and do our daily check of the dollar to silver ratio.
- 39:04One of these days it's going to stop going up.
- 39:06But for now, we're on a roll. The new US national debt, now we
- 39:10only had it 5 billion overnight, no big deal.
- 39:13OK, we're now it went up again. The dollar to silver ratio now
- 39:18sitting at 7:19. We just over the weekend, I
- 39:22think it was celebrated $700.00. Again, I'll say it everyday.
- 39:28This means for each one ounce of silver that's produced on a
- 39:31worldwide basis, the United States government is adding
- 39:35$720.00 of new dollars via the M2 money supply.
- 39:42Wow. Let's just check on.
- 39:44Yeah, the paper to silver ratio remains remains rather
- 39:48consistent. There at 408.
- 39:51Darn it. I forgot to pull this up.
- 39:53Hold on here, guys. See if I can find this real
- 39:56quick. Health insurance.
- 39:58Here we go. Canada's debt clock.
- 40:01Darn it. I think it was Trevor sent this
- 40:04to me. Canada has a debt clock.
- 40:06Canada's in better shape than us, though.
- 40:08Canadian taxpayers. Their federal debt sits at what
- 40:13is that one trillion, $200 billion.
- 40:17Canadians are in much better shape than us.
- 40:21They only owe about 29,000 Canadian dollars per person in
- 40:27national debt, which is probably about 20,000 US roughly, give or
- 40:31take, give or take. So it's not just us, it's those
- 40:35Canadians as well. And we know what's going on all
- 40:39around the world, right? Worldwide debt, I hear 330
- 40:42trillion, who knows, probably 350 trillion by now, right?
- 40:48And, and remember what Don Indris taught us, a trillion is
- 40:53a billion times, I'm sorry, 1,000,000 * 1,000,000, right?
- 40:58A trillion is a real, real number.
- 41:02Nothing will drive the price of silver and gold like
- 41:06uncertainty. I've got a couple more scary
- 41:08updates for you. First, I want to say thank you
- 41:11to channel sponsor First Mining Gold.
- 41:12They make this live stream possible.
- 41:15They're a Canadian gold development stage company with
- 41:18two multi million ounce projects in Canada, gold in the ground in
- 41:22Canada. You can learn more about them at
- 41:24firstmininggold.com and Fortuna Mining.
- 41:27They're an active mining company.
- 41:29They mine silver and gold in Latin America and they mine gold
- 41:34in West Africa. You can learn more about them at
- 41:36Fortuna mining.com. On the world stage, right.
- 41:40We know what's going on with the bricks meeting in one week.
- 41:43Massive, massive changes. But on top of that, that's
- 41:47uncertainty. But uncertainty squared.
- 41:49Are the are are are are the conflicts going on in the world
- 41:53Apparently, OK, from what I read this morning, there were spy
- 41:59drones that flew over one of our major Air Force bases, Langley
- 42:03Air Force Base. I need to learn more about that.
- 42:07But guys, that's not a good thing, right?
- 42:10Not a good like apparently there were drones 20 feet long drones
- 42:13that flew over one of our and Langley I believe is somewhere
- 42:16out on the East Coast of the United States.
- 42:19We get more clarification. Ukrainian President Zelensky is
- 42:25saying that he believes North Korean forces are fighting in
- 42:30the Ukraine right now. OK, that situation is, is very
- 42:36scary. But on top of it, to make
- 42:37matters worse, apparently North Korea, there's a big potential
- 42:42for conflict between North Korea and South Korea.
- 42:45The North Koreans blew up, exploded, boom, all the roads
- 42:51that connect North Korea to South Korea blew them up.
- 42:55OK, so that's the world we're living in right now.
- 42:58We got the bricks who are doing their thing, moving away from
- 43:03the dollar, moving away from the United States.
- 43:05But at the same time. And then, of course, we have war
- 43:09in the Middle East. We'll see how that plays out.
- 43:11We have the war in Ukraine. We have North Korea, South
- 43:14Korea. We have China, Taiwan.
- 43:16Woof. Oh, yeah.
- 43:18And a presidential election coming up here in a little bit.
- 43:21Oh, oh, I almost forgot. I got in trouble.
- 43:23Hey, hold on, guys. I got in some trouble yesterday
- 43:27because I went on a little diatribe about the the fact that
- 43:31I can't believe we can't come up with a system in this country to
- 43:34accurately count votes. OK, so I wrote this out.
- 43:38I said if we can, if we can land men on the moon, this is
- 43:41critical and create self landing rockets, track every penny on
- 43:47the New York Stock Exchange. I was talking to one of my
- 43:49friends last night and he was like, I guess he has his
- 43:52insurance with USAA. He's like, they've never been
- 43:54off by a penny. Like we can do all these things.
- 43:56Look at what Amazon can do, the company Amazon right now, right?
- 44:01The technology that we have in this world.
- 44:04But you're really going to try to tell me that we can't come up
- 44:07with an electronic system, reliable, verifiable, auditable
- 44:14to count 220 million votes in this country?
- 44:18I mean, doesn't that make you that much?
- 44:20It's not just the anger that they can't do it, but why is
- 44:24that the case? And you know, this, this very
- 44:26smart man that I talked to you last night, he was like, well,
- 44:29maybe that's because they like the fact that it's an antiquated
- 44:32system. And possibly he's like, maybe
- 44:35that's the only thing the two parties can agree on because
- 44:38then they know that it gives them this.
- 44:41I mean, doesn't, it's just insane to me.
- 44:44Not a political statement, just that if if think about this, if
- 44:47voting is the most important thing that we do as American
- 44:51citizens, right? If it's the most important
- 44:54thing, then why isn't there massive amounts of energy and
- 44:59resources directed at coming up with a system that can
- 45:04accurately count votes? You got blockchain.
- 45:07You got, you know, database. I'm not a techie, but this is
- 45:11not we, we're not talking about landing somebody on the moon,
- 45:14which we did 50 years ago. We're talking about counting
- 45:18votes, all right, Having a, a database of eligible voters and
- 45:23then tallying who voted and what their votes were.
- 45:27And that it's open, not open in terms of who voted for who.
- 45:31But but oh, I just got a message from Jake, from Jake's Custom
- 45:37parts. I'll do that in one second, but
- 45:39that it's that you, you can verify that your vote was was
- 45:43was registered and counted. Give me a break.
- 45:46Right. We aren't talking about landing
- 45:48the man on the moon. And we did that 50 years ago.
- 45:52I, I mean, if that's, and then I promise I'll be quiet.
- 45:54But if that's what we're we're facing, look, guys, the post
- 45:58election period is shaping up to potentially be the period where
- 46:02we could have some real issues in this country.
- 46:06And it's all going to be about what potentially fighting over
- 46:09the votes, right? Fighting over the accuracy of
- 46:12the votes. You can.
- 46:13I I am. I am so ticked off that that's
- 46:17the case and that you're going to tell me, oh, no, we can't
- 46:20come up with a system for accurate.
- 46:21I mean, give me a break. Butter cups.
- 46:25Not you. I mean, these politicians.
- 46:27And I think it is true. I think they both like the fact
- 46:30that it's it's screwed up. OK.
- 46:36All right, Thank you. I'm getting Susie talking to me.
- 46:39Jake's talking to me. All right, we're going to go
- 46:41check the silver price. Let's hope there's some good
- 46:44news here. Oh, boy.
- 46:46So here we are back on channel sponsor Pendex.
- 46:50And I call that little golden triangle the Pendex Magic
- 46:53button. I'm going to press it and we're

- 51:25Have a great day. Hey, let's hope silver and gold
- 51:29continue going up. Everything's been against silver
- 51:32and gold. Let me let's just say you got to
- 51:34realize that even the China news over the weekend was bad news.
- 51:39Remember, China was supposed to put out this massive stimulus
- 51:43and it didn't happen. And that was that was supposed
- 51:45to crash the price of silver and gold yesterday and today.
- 51:48They're just like, they keep fighting back everything that,
- 51:52that, that. And that's it's like Rocky
- 51:54Balboa, our friend, silver and gold.
- 51:57I mean, they just keep coming back, right?
- 52:00I mean, and then on the charts, you look at the charts in the
- 52:03head and inverse head and shoulders in the the giant
- 52:08teacup formation cup and handle whatever you want to call it.
- 52:12I mean, it's we are really in a great, great period of time, I
- 52:16believe for silver and gold. What makes it even better is
- 52:20getting to spend it with you. Thank you for being here.
- 52:22OK guys, have a great day and I'll see you soon.
- 52:26Thank you.
