Several hundred kids in Eau Claire deal directly with housinginsecurity annually, yet only one organization in the area assists homeless families. The Beacon House. Longtime volunteer Bill Callahan tells us the ways The Beacon House supports families and the continuing housing insecurity issue that is very real in our area. Bill is not an employee, but someone motivated by an altruistic nature who has a deep passion and care for the issue. He shares how a call for compassion is a great motivator.
