- 1:43Speaker 1: with one another. Literally, right? Sister Joanne, I see you.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Good morning. My sister, my friend, good morning. God bless you.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Morning Devo. It's Friday from the
- 1:52Speaker 1: time of this recording, so we're heading into the weekend.
- 1:56Speaker 1: So let's pray. Father, I thank you that you have
- 1:59Speaker 1: woke us up this morning. You woke us up for
- 2:03Speaker 1: a purpose and a plan. Thank you for being with us,
- 2:07Speaker 1: working through us by way of your Holy Spirit, and
- 2:09Speaker 1: thank you for revealing yourself through your word. I pray,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Lord God, I had your protection over every single person
- 2:15Speaker 1: listening or watching right now in the powerful name of Jesus.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I pray, Lord God, that you will continuously remind us
- 2:21Speaker 1: of your goodness, your faithfulness through your word, Lord God,
- 2:24Speaker 1: knowing that there's a danger in unbelief. Help us in
- 2:29Speaker 1: our unbelief. Help us in our faith. Help us trust
- 2:33Speaker 1: you more and more daily. Help us see what you're
- 2:36Speaker 1: doing more and more daily in our lives. I pray,
- 2:38Speaker 1: Lord God, that you are incredibly magnified today. I pray
- 2:42Speaker 1: the peace of God upon myself, my wife, our children,
- 2:46Speaker 1: our grandchildren, our whole entire bloodline. I pray that also
- 2:50Speaker 1: the peace of God that will transcend all understanding upon
- 2:53Speaker 1: every single person that's joining us right now. In the
- 2:55Speaker 1: powerful name of Jesus, I pray this by faith, knowing
- 2:58Speaker 1: that you hear the prayers of the righteous And the
- 3:01Speaker 1: righteous availeth much. Those prayers of the righteous availeth much.
- 3:06Speaker 1: So I speak the availeth much part over myself and
- 3:09Speaker 1: every single person connecting. In Jesus' holy name, we pray
- 3:12Speaker 1: this by faith. And those who agree, we say amen
- 3:15Speaker 1: to the amen. Brother John, I see you. Good morning.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Grand Rising. Amen. My brother, my friend, we're another week
- 3:21Speaker 1: coming to a close. Yes, and we're here. That means
- 3:24Speaker 1: God is not done with us yet. So let's get
- 3:26Speaker 1: into these scriptures. Amen. So we could keep moving. And
- 3:31Speaker 1: the direction that the Lord has for us through his word.
- 3:34Speaker 1: The power of God's word is unmatched. Right? Because the
- 3:38Speaker 1: truth remains the truth for all of eternity. His written
- 3:42Speaker 1: word is true. Hebrews chapter 3 verses 12 and 13.
- 3:47Speaker 1: The Bible says, See to it, brothers, that none of
- 3:50Speaker 1: you has a wicked heart of unbelief that turns away
- 3:57Speaker 1: from the living God. But, Exhort one another. It means
- 4:02Speaker 1: lift one another up, right? Daily. As long as it
- 4:07Speaker 1: is called today. So that none of you may be
- 4:11Speaker 1: hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Because sin is pledgeable
- 4:18Speaker 1: for a season, the Bible says. So this is what
- 4:21Speaker 1: the writer of Hebrews is telling us. Don't let your
- 4:26Speaker 1: wicked heart of unbelief. So we have a new heart.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, if you're in Christ, God gave us
- 4:34Speaker 1: a new heart, right? Now we have the heart of
- 4:37Speaker 1: God and the mind of Christ. So see to it
- 4:41Speaker 1: that none of you talking to us has a wicked
- 4:45Speaker 1: heart of unbelief because that unbelief and that wicked unbelieving
- 4:49Speaker 1: heart turns us away from the living God. So that's
- 4:54Speaker 1: tremendous danger I see right there, right? Who in their
- 4:58Speaker 1: right mind who says they're believers, wants to turn away
- 5:03Speaker 1: from the one that we say we believe in. Well,
- 5:06Speaker 1: our flesh and our wicked heart, the old heart that
- 5:10Speaker 1: tries to start beating again, because we have a new
- 5:14Speaker 1: heart in Christ. But the old deceitful heart, the Bible
- 5:18Speaker 1: says here, that none of you has a wicked heart
- 5:22Speaker 1: of unbelief, that we don't start believing in things of
- 5:25Speaker 1: this world, that we don't start Trusting the things of
- 5:28Speaker 1: this world over trusting the holy God who created the world, right?
- 5:33Speaker 1: That we don't start believing in creation more than we
- 5:36Speaker 1: believe in the creator. Let's not do that. And that's
- 5:40Speaker 1: the warning here. Amen? So unbelief is caused by a wicked,
- 5:47Speaker 1: unbelieving heart. Our thoughts, right? The word of God is
- 5:52Speaker 1: the word of God. So Whether you believe in his
- 5:56Speaker 1: word or not, his word is still true. Whether you
- 5:59Speaker 1: apply his word over your life or not, his word
- 6:02Speaker 1: will be applied over people who apply it. Let's be
- 6:06Speaker 1: those people who apply the word of God. Take heed
- 6:09Speaker 1: to the warnings through the scriptures, amen? And move accordingly.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Why wouldn't we, right? So unbelief is more dangerous than
- 6:20Speaker 1: we realize. Unbelief. I dare to say that The sin
- 6:26Speaker 1: that God won't forgive us for is unbelief because if
- 6:29Speaker 1: we don't believe in the one who can forgive us
- 6:32Speaker 1: of that sin, then unbelief kind of like X's that out.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Unbelief is very dangerous. You don't believe in God, then
- 6:42Speaker 1: you believe in something else or someone else and you're
- 6:46Speaker 1: on your own, right? Before God. Jesus entered in my
- 6:50Speaker 1: heart and into my life. I was following the world system.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I was in bondage to sin. And I was a
- 6:57Speaker 1: slave to sin. I had no power over sin. So
- 7:01Speaker 1: I was lost. God was not lost. I didn't find him.
- 7:06Speaker 1: God knew exactly where I was when I called on him. Now,
- 7:10Speaker 1: there's people who say, well, you called on the name
- 7:13Speaker 1: of the American Jesus. You said Jesus. I didn't even
- 7:16Speaker 1: say Jesus. You don't know my testimony. I called on
- 7:19Speaker 1: an unknown God at the time, December 12th, 2001, around there, right?
- 7:26Speaker 1: I called on an unknown God. I didn't say Jesus.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I said, whoever you are, whoever you are, God, if
- 7:32Speaker 1: you're a God, come and change my life. That's for
- 7:34Speaker 1: another story, another time. Amen. It's part of my testimony.
- 7:38Speaker 1: So unbelief is more dangerous than we realize. It doesn't
- 7:42Speaker 1: always begin with all out rejecting God or all out
- 7:46Speaker 1: rejecting God. Jesus outright. Doesn't really begin there. Sometimes it
- 7:53Speaker 1: starts with doubt, disappointment, loss, right, of a loved one,
- 7:58Speaker 1: or praying to God for a miracle and you don't
- 8:01Speaker 1: receive that. It starts with doubt, unanswered prayers, or choosing
- 8:07Speaker 1: to trust our own understanding instead of trusting in God's promises.
- 8:13Speaker 1: How many people has been there before? Like, this is
- 8:16Speaker 1: a challenge now. Well, I prayed to God and asked
- 8:19Speaker 1: God for X, Y, Z, and he didn't show up
- 8:21Speaker 1: the way I wanted him to show up. You ever
- 8:23Speaker 1: been there? So therefore, I'm upset because God didn't show
- 8:27Speaker 1: up the way I expected him to show up. So
- 8:30Speaker 1: now I'm mad. I've been in those positions. Losing children
- 8:36Speaker 1: is no joke, man. Praying to God for miraculous healing
- 8:41Speaker 1: over a child and then it doesn't come to pass
- 8:43Speaker 1: the way I thought it would come to pass. That
- 8:46Speaker 1: challenged me. Praise God for his grace and his mercy
- 8:49Speaker 1: upon me. Praise God for the men of God who
- 8:51Speaker 1: surrounded me during that time. Praise God for leaders who
- 8:54Speaker 1: surrounded me during that time. Because man, I was losing
- 8:57Speaker 1: my mind. I was like, wait a minute. I did
- 9:00Speaker 1: all of this for the kingdom of God. Now asking
- 9:03Speaker 1: my father in heaven to do what he can do,
- 9:06Speaker 1: a miracle over my child, over the seed that they gave,
- 9:10Speaker 1: that was given to me and my wife from the Lord, right?
- 9:14Speaker 1: That's what we believed. And it went the other way. Yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I was upset. Yeah, I was challenging my faith. Yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I was disappointed. But I realized in hindsight, because when
- 9:26Speaker 1: you're going through something like that, you don't see it
- 9:28Speaker 1: right away. But in hindsight, now I see that God
- 9:32Speaker 1: never failed me. Challenged my faith, right? Tested my faith.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Grew my faith through that. Now I could go on
- 9:39Speaker 1: the side of another man that lost a child. And
- 9:43Speaker 1: now I could feel That grief, I could feel that sadness.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I could feel that feeling of powerlessness with this person
- 9:52Speaker 1: because now I can share my testimony and how I
- 9:56Speaker 1: went through that. Amen. So God doesn't use pain. for nothing.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Pain in your life and pain in my life is
- 10:04Speaker 1: for a purpose. God allows things to happen for us
- 10:08Speaker 1: to trust more and more in him. Now he doesn't
- 10:11Speaker 1: use sin to get his way in our lives, right?
- 10:14Speaker 1: He tests our faith. He doesn't have to use sin
- 10:17Speaker 1: because God does not sin. God does not lie. God
- 10:20Speaker 1: cannot be tempted with sin. None of that. But what
- 10:23Speaker 1: he would do is see who we are believing in.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Are we believing in him, trusting in him, or we're
- 10:30Speaker 1: believing in ourselves or the world system? So that's why
- 10:35Speaker 1: we can't let our heart grow cold towards the things
- 10:40Speaker 1: of God. That's why it's important to read the scriptures.
- 10:44Speaker 1: God has done miraculous things throughout all the scriptures, right?
- 10:50Speaker 1: He did things for people who we least expected for
- 10:53Speaker 1: him to do. In the scriptures, you can see it.
- 10:55Speaker 1: So if he did miracles for them, then that should
- 10:58Speaker 1: encourage us to believe. Why wouldn't he do that for us?
- 11:02Speaker 1: He did it before. He can do it now, right?
- 11:05Speaker 1: That's how I take it. So when we allow doubt
- 11:09Speaker 1: to take root, our hearts can slowly and slowly grow
- 11:15Speaker 1: colder and colder. Places where you have anxiety. pressures of life,
- 11:21Speaker 1: peer pressure from people who want you to do other
- 11:24Speaker 1: things instead of doing what the word of God asks
- 11:27Speaker 1: us to do. It can grow, our hearts can grow
- 11:31Speaker 1: cold towards the one who gave us life. It could happen, right?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Because life doesn't stop. My uncle used to always tell me,
- 11:41Speaker 1: may he rest in peace, he used to always say, son,
- 11:43Speaker 1: time and life waits for no one. He was absolutely right.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I was telling somebody the other day, when you have
- 11:51Speaker 1: your worst day, it's challenging, right? But remember this, the
- 11:56Speaker 1: next day still comes whether we're in the next day
- 11:58Speaker 1: or not. So don't worry about tomorrow, right? We have
- 12:02Speaker 1: right now to deal with. And because we're here, that
- 12:06Speaker 1: means God is with us. Amen. If we're here, that
- 12:09Speaker 1: means he's not finished with us yet. So we have
- 12:12Speaker 1: hope to trust in today's God. Tomorrow, he's there. before us. Yesterday,
- 12:18Speaker 1: he was there before us. We have right now, he's
- 12:21Speaker 1: with us. Amen. That's how I see it. Sin becomes
- 12:25Speaker 1: easier to justify when your heart is cold towards the
- 12:29Speaker 1: one who can forgive you of the sin. God's word
- 12:33Speaker 1: becomes easier to ignore and obedience becomes something we start postponing.
- 12:41Speaker 1: So I'll obey later on. Right now, I'm going to
- 12:44Speaker 1: obey my fleshly desires. You ever been in that challenge, right?
- 12:48Speaker 1: The mind is like, no, just do that. Don't worry.
- 12:50Speaker 1: God is still there. He'll forgive you later. Don't do that. Amen.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Because that's the act of unbelief and unbelief can destroy, right?
- 13:00Speaker 1: Your attitude towards the living, holy, righteous, loving God who
- 13:03Speaker 1: never failed us. Amen. Unbelief is dangerous. It's the danger
- 13:07Speaker 1: of unbelief, right? Hebrews 3, 13 says, reminds us to
- 13:14Speaker 1: encourage one another daily. And this is something that I
- 13:18Speaker 1: take to heart. I'm trying to encourage you while the
- 13:22Speaker 1: word encourages me. So we're all being encouraged right now.
- 13:25Speaker 1: We're in that Barnabas spirit right now. Encouragement of God
- 13:29Speaker 1: within us, encouraging one another. Amen. Sometimes we're going through
- 13:33Speaker 1: hard times. So we need to come along another brother
- 13:36Speaker 1: or another sister to exhort that brother or sister, to encourage,
- 13:40Speaker 1: lift up. Sometimes all we have to do is listen
- 13:44Speaker 1: not say a word. The presence of a believer, a
- 13:47Speaker 1: brother and sister is powerful and it overcomes unbelief, right?
- 13:53Speaker 1: And it builds our faith and builds our trust in
- 13:56Speaker 1: what God is doing. Encourage one another daily. That's why
- 14:01Speaker 1: you need godly people who will speak truth into your life, right?
- 14:07Speaker 1: I might not like it at the time, but I
- 14:10Speaker 1: need brothers who speak truth into my life. not something
- 14:15Speaker 1: that's going to puff me up, not something. You ever
- 14:18Speaker 1: met people that whatever the leaders of their church do,
- 14:22Speaker 1: it's all good, it's perfect all the time, 100% agree.
- 14:25Speaker 1: We call those people yes men. And I don't think
- 14:28Speaker 1: that does the pastors or the bishop or the leaders
- 14:30Speaker 1: of the church any service, right? There has to be
- 14:33Speaker 1: a way that we can connect and encourage one another, yes,
- 14:37Speaker 1: but also challenge one another to grow in our faith.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Where is that in the word, Brother Sam? Where is
- 14:43Speaker 1: that in the word? Sister Joanne, where's that in the word,
- 14:45Speaker 1: John Crosby? Because we'll say things sometimes that are not
- 14:49Speaker 1: even in the scriptures. So it's okay. If you know
- 14:53Speaker 1: someone and you believe in them and you know that
- 14:56Speaker 1: God moved through them, encourage them daily if you can.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Because sometimes we'll go on these different paths that are
- 15:05Speaker 1: not really biblical paths. It seems like a good deed
- 15:09Speaker 1: or good thing, But we might be leaning more on
- 15:12Speaker 1: our own understanding sometimes instead of leaning on God. So
- 15:19Speaker 1: speak to one another, encourage one another, strengthen each other's faith,
- 15:26Speaker 1: and lovingly, lovingly, that's the word, lovingly correct each other
- 15:32Speaker 1: when we begin to drift away, if we begin to
- 15:35Speaker 1: drift away. Because there's a lot of teachings, there are
- 15:38Speaker 1: a lot of teachings out there that seem like, wow,
- 15:41Speaker 1: that's powerful, must be in the scriptures, but we never
- 15:44Speaker 1: see it. We don't see it in the scriptures. Certain
- 15:47Speaker 1: things that people teach sound good. It sounds biblical, right?
- 15:52Speaker 1: But it's really not backed up by the word of God.
- 15:55Speaker 1: It's just a good phrase or good teaching or good
- 16:00Speaker 1: lesson that someone can extract from a scripture or from
- 16:04Speaker 1: a story of the Bible But when you read the
- 16:07Speaker 1: text in its context, then we realize that there's a
- 16:11Speaker 1: little drift there. And it could happen to me. It
- 16:14Speaker 1: could happen to anyone. That's why we need one another. Amen.
- 16:18Speaker 1: This whole thing about, oh, I got this revelation from
- 16:20Speaker 1: the Lord. You don't get it. So now that means
- 16:24Speaker 1: you're less than or I have more annoying thing or
- 16:26Speaker 1: whatever the case may be. I heard all different kind
- 16:28Speaker 1: of wording along those lines. Don't believe that hype. We
- 16:32Speaker 1: all have the same spirit that rose Jesus Christ from
- 16:35Speaker 1: the dead. Amen. And that Spirit, Holy Spirit God, will
- 16:39Speaker 1: give us understanding of His Scriptures. Will it take me
- 16:42Speaker 1: longer to realize some things in the Scriptures? Yes. It
- 16:45Speaker 1: might take me a little longer than others to get
- 16:48Speaker 1: what the Scriptures are saying. It's because the Lord has
- 16:51Speaker 1: a perfect time. It's His kairos time. It's perfect time,
- 16:55Speaker 1: the right moment to teach you something valuable for your
- 16:58Speaker 1: life in real time. Amen. Some people might have it already.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Some people might have a lot of head knowledge. but
- 17:05Speaker 1: their heart is still not transformed. That's the danger of unbelief, right?
- 17:11Speaker 1: Don't let today's struggles cause you to doubt God's faithfulness, right?
- 17:18Speaker 1: I'm struggling. Well, God is still faithful. I'm having a
- 17:21Speaker 1: horrible day. Well, God is still faithful. My bank account
- 17:24Speaker 1: is empty. God is still faithful. You know, my body
- 17:27Speaker 1: doesn't feel right right now. I'm a little sick. God
- 17:29Speaker 1: is still faithful. In all our struggles, God remains faithful.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I don't believe this guy. God is still faithful. He's
- 17:36Speaker 1: still true. He's still believable. Right? So don't let today's
- 17:41Speaker 1: struggles cause you to doubt God's faithfulness. Amen? Oh, wow.
- 17:51Speaker 1: We have a person exactly that what I'm saying. The
- 17:57Speaker 1: wicked heart of unbelief that turns away from a living God.
- 18:01Speaker 1: So you can go ahead. I'm not going to put
- 18:03Speaker 1: it on the screen. And believe this, this person is
- 18:09Speaker 1: being used by the devil and it's sad, very sad.
- 18:13Speaker 1: But we'll pray for him. We'll pray for him. So
- 18:16Speaker 1: examine your heart today. Examine your heart today. Are you
- 18:23Speaker 1: trusting God's promises or are you trusting in your own things?
- 18:28Speaker 1: It's very plain and simple in the scriptures. God is
- 18:32Speaker 1: not frustrating us. God is not tempting us. God is
- 18:38Speaker 1: not doing things that we shouldn't be listening to. God
- 18:44Speaker 1: is faithful at all things that he does. Examine your heart.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Your circumstances may change. Your feelings may fluctuate. Absolutely. We're
- 18:55Speaker 1: in a world that is broken. And your prayers may
- 19:00Speaker 1: seem unanswered. Go ahead and pray. regardless of what you're feeling.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Go ahead and love your enemy, regardless of what you're feeling.
- 19:17Speaker 1: It may seem unanswered prayers, right? But I know from
- 19:20Speaker 1: experience that when you ask God to do something and
- 19:25Speaker 1: it doesn't go your way, keep on asking because he
- 19:29Speaker 1: has the perfect plan, the perfect way. It's just that simple.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Doubt and sin can pull you away from him. That rhymes.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Doubt and sin can pull you away and me away
- 19:49Speaker 1: from him. Doubt comes from circumstances. A lot of times
- 19:54Speaker 1: circumstances cause doubt. Well, God, I trust in you. So
- 19:59Speaker 1: why are you not responding? God, I trust in you.
- 20:05Speaker 1: So why aren't you answering this prayer? Have you ever
- 20:08Speaker 1: been there? Have you ever been in those circumstances that
- 20:13Speaker 1: it seems like you're all alone and abandoned, right? And
- 20:17Speaker 1: then because you feel a certain way, the enemy latches
- 20:21Speaker 1: onto your feelings and starts speaking, starts accusing, starts pointing fingers,
- 20:28Speaker 1: starts saying all these things that are lies. Well, there's
- 20:33Speaker 1: a still small voice that we still listen to. Holy
- 20:37Speaker 1: Spirit God still speaks. And he encourages us. He builds
- 20:43Speaker 1: us up. Doesn't tear us down. He responds. He reacts. Why?
- 20:47Speaker 1: Because he's a real God. A false God or an
- 20:51Speaker 1: idol won't respond to you. You might think an idol
- 20:56Speaker 1: or a false God is responding, but not responding. People
- 21:00Speaker 1: pray to statues. Those statues don't respond. They don't have
- 21:04Speaker 1: a soul. So examine your heart today. Identify an area
- 21:09Speaker 1: where doubt has weakened your trust in God, right? And
- 21:15Speaker 1: you don't got to go telling everybody, hey, I'm in
- 21:19Speaker 1: unbelief today. I'm in doubt. Tell people that you trust
- 21:23Speaker 1: because other people will take your doubt and throw it
- 21:26Speaker 1: in your face later on and say, you don't really
- 21:28Speaker 1: trust God. That's why God is not doing whatever in
- 21:31Speaker 1: your life. You don't really trust God. That's why you're sick.
- 21:35Speaker 1: You don't really trust God. That's why your marriage is
- 21:37Speaker 1: all messed up. You don't really trust God. That's why
- 21:38Speaker 1: you're for net. Tell people that you trust. Tell people
- 21:42Speaker 1: that believe in God, love God, follow God. Don't look
- 21:47Speaker 1: for perfection in man. Look for perfection in God. So
- 21:51Speaker 1: examine your heart. Feed your faith. This is what we
- 21:55Speaker 1: do in the morning. Devo feed your faith. Your flesh
- 22:00Speaker 1: wants to eat. Feed your faith, not your flesh. and
- 22:04Speaker 1: see what happens. Spend time reading God's word. If you
- 22:09Speaker 1: don't have time, like me, I don't have a lot
- 22:12Speaker 1: of time to stay home and read the word. So
- 22:15Speaker 1: I listen to it. I'm not dumb, right? Listen to
- 22:18Speaker 1: the word of God when you don't have time to
- 22:21Speaker 1: stop and read the word of God. Now, I'm not
- 22:23Speaker 1: suggesting you pick one over the other. I believe what
- 22:27Speaker 1: God says, meditate on his word day and night. Amen.
- 22:32Speaker 1: And like this morning, I woke up with a word, right?
- 22:36Speaker 1: An idea. I believe that was because I was meditating
- 22:39Speaker 1: on the word before. And when I fell asleep, that spirit,
- 22:43Speaker 1: God's spirit still marinates and feeds your spirit. Remember God's promises.
- 22:49Speaker 1: All his promises in the scriptures are yea and amen.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Encourage someone, speak a word of truth, speak a word
- 22:57Speaker 1: of hope to someone who may be struggling spiritually. Now,
- 23:02Speaker 1: this is the power of God's body, the body of Christ.
- 23:06Speaker 1: When somebody is spiritually weak, the body remains strong, right?
- 23:11Speaker 1: You ever been in a situation where you're weak in
- 23:14Speaker 1: your faith? Then you attach yourself to the body of
- 23:16Speaker 1: Christ and you start feeling empowered again. That's because the
- 23:21Speaker 1: body of Christ is not an organization. The body of
- 23:25Speaker 1: Christ is an organism. Jesus Christ being the head, The
- 23:29Speaker 1: body has all body parts functioning. When you see the
- 23:33Speaker 1: body parts of God functioning properly, you're going to be encouraged.
- 23:36Speaker 1: There's no way, no way that you're going to leave
- 23:40Speaker 1: out of the body of Christ weakened. You're going to
- 23:42Speaker 1: leave out of the body of Christ or you're going
- 23:45Speaker 1: to attach to the body of Christ and become more strengthened. Right?
- 23:50Speaker 1: So I put a confession online earlier, like five minutes
- 23:53Speaker 1: before the morning Devo. And it's a confession of faith.
- 23:57Speaker 1: These are powerful because Now you're speaking out of your
- 24:00Speaker 1: own mouth faithful things over your life. Repeat this with
- 24:07Speaker 1: your mouth. Amen. With your own mouth, with your own voice.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I would not allow unbelief to harden my heart. A
- 24:15Speaker 1: hard heart is really stirred because of unbelief. When you're
- 24:21Speaker 1: cold in the things of God, then that's really an
- 24:24Speaker 1: indication that you're not believing him in all areas of
- 24:27Speaker 1: your life. Right. So I will not allow unbelief to
- 24:32Speaker 1: harden my heart. I choose to trust God's word, obey
- 24:37Speaker 1: his truth and encourage others in faith every day. As
- 24:44Speaker 1: long as we have today, tomorrow, who knows? Might be
- 24:49Speaker 1: out of here. You might be out of here. So
- 24:51Speaker 1: today we have what God gave us and we will
- 24:54Speaker 1: be glad and rejoice in that that he created today.
- 25:00Speaker 1: So don't let doubt pull you away from God because
- 25:03Speaker 1: it's a danger. The danger of unbelief is like a
- 25:06Speaker 1: drift pulling away slowly, day by day, inch by inch.
- 25:11Speaker 1: You're going another direction. If you're on a plane and
- 25:15Speaker 1: you're going from wherever, New York to L.A., and if
- 25:20Speaker 1: that plane goes off course just by inches every mile,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you could end up in another place. You're not going
- 25:27Speaker 1: to be in a place where God wanted you to be.
- 25:30Speaker 1: if you keep on drifting, right? If you keep on
- 25:32Speaker 1: turning to the right or to the left, go forward, straight,
- 25:37Speaker 1: march forward, go. Amen? You got everything you need to
- 25:41Speaker 1: live a righteous and godly life. So go ahead and
- 25:43Speaker 1: move forward in victory. Obey his truth, encourage others, right?
- 25:50Speaker 1: Your faith is going to grow. There's no way that
- 25:52Speaker 1: your faith cannot grow when you're believing and trusting. Your
- 25:56Speaker 1: faith will kind of like get challenged extra if you're
- 26:00Speaker 1: in unbelief, right? And a lot of people are in
- 26:04Speaker 1: unbelief because they have lack of knowledge of God's word.
- 26:07Speaker 1: They don't know who he is. They know about God,
- 26:10Speaker 1: but they don't know who God is. This is relational.
- 26:13Speaker 1: This is not religious. It's not a religion. This is
- 26:16Speaker 1: a relationship with the loving, holy, righteous, true God of
- 26:21Speaker 1: heaven and earth, right? Don't let doubt pull you away
- 26:25Speaker 1: from God. Encourage somebody today because when you encourage somebody today,
- 26:30Speaker 1: Yourself will be encouraged. Amen. When you bless somebody today,
- 26:34Speaker 1: you will be blessed yourself. So do that. Trust God's word.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Obey his truth. Obedience is still a thing, right? Obey
- 26:43Speaker 1: his truth. Encourage others in faith every day. Grow your faith.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Stay connected to the living God. There's a lot more here,
- 26:54Speaker 1: but listen, I'm out of time. The weekend is upon
- 26:56Speaker 1: us from the time of this recording. So I send
- 26:58Speaker 1: you all with a blessing. Thank you so much for
- 27:00Speaker 1: hanging out with me on these morning devos. It's a
- 27:04Speaker 1: blessing to see people on the radio listening, people on
- 27:08Speaker 1: the live watching. Amen. God is faithful. He's good at
- 27:11Speaker 1: everything he does and everything he says. All his word
- 27:14Speaker 1: is true. Not one day that you could or me
- 27:17Speaker 1: or you could say that God's word is not true.
- 27:20Speaker 1: He's amazingly, amazingly trustworthy. So God bless you all. God
- 27:26Speaker 1: keep you all. And remember always that God is good. Peace.
