Businesses in a North Clare are said to be "down thousands of euro" due to ongoing public realm works. Frustration was expressed at this week's West Clare Municipal District Meeting in relation to the enhancement project currently underway in Ennistymon. Parliament Street has been closed since April 20th to facilitate construction and was due to reopen at the end of this month but the local authority has confirmed access will be restricted until August 28th.
