Transcript
- 0:00All right, good afternoon. Welcome, Miller and Condon on a
- 0:03Tuesday. The Iowa Sports Radio Network,
- 0:05Trent Condon, Ken Miller for the next couple of hours talking
- 0:09sports with you. Appreciate you starting your
- 0:11afternoon here with us. Here's what's coming up on our
- 0:13program. We're going to talk with Bill
- 0:15Seals. Bill Seals had an opportunity
- 0:17and along with the rest of the Iowa State media, spend some
- 0:19time with some of the Iowa State players yesterday, coaches as
- 0:23well. Raynor was part of it.
- 0:24So we'll pick Bill's brain on what he heard from Iowa State
- 0:29regarding football. Obviously basketball with the
- 0:31women as finally continues to add to his roster and build that
- 0:35back up in time for next season. So we'll do Iowa State topics at
- 0:39the bottom of this hour about 12:30 with Bill Seals, our
- 0:43number 2. Let's talk some baseball.
- 0:44Our friend Matt Snyder joins us each and every week.
- 0:47Little MLB conversation with Matt Snyder coming up at One O
- 0:51CLOCK. Baseball's been good.
- 0:54Twins and the Mets tonight, something has to give Twins kind
- 0:58of about a disappointing weekend.
- 1:01Mets have had a disappointing couple of weeks.
- 1:03So we'll watch that series very closely as well, as well as the
- 1:06NBA and the Stanley Cup playoffs.
- 1:08But Matt Snyder on MLB to kick off the second hour and then
- 1:12Scott Dockerman is back. He was, he was in Europa, people
- 1:15in Germany for a couple of weeks.
- 1:17So we'll talk to Doc about. I know that he was at in Iowa
- 1:22City for some of the football pressers, listen to Kirk before
- 1:25he left. We'll get that or when they got
- 1:28back. Well, regardless, he was there
- 1:30and we'll talk to Doc about Iowa topics, Big 10 topics, college
- 1:33football topics when he joins us coming up here at 1:30.
- 1:37Trends plays the day at 1:50 and away we will go.
- 1:41Billy Donovan steps down as the Bulls.
- 1:43Now, Cappy, who normally joins us on Wednesday, he reached out
- 1:46to me this morning and said he's going to have to push back until
- 1:49Thursday. So we will, if you're a Bulls
- 1:51fan, you want to know what's going on there.
- 1:53Cappy will join us on Thursday. We'll catch up with the Cubs,
- 1:56etcetera. Bears are going to pick later on
- 1:58that night with the cap man, but not Wednesday this week,
- 2:01Thursday for David Kaplan. How are you TC?
- 2:04Not too bad, had a successful night with the wagering so that
- 2:07was always a nice one. Nice for you 1.
- 2:10That's a good night. Yes, after the pics we handed
- 2:12out, including hitting both props and it was a little later
- 2:15that I wanted, I wanted to get to bed a little bit earlier, but
- 2:17the Timberwolves and Nuggets was what?
- 2:19Time did it end? Late.
- 2:21I don't even know. But yeah, it was late.
- 2:22Later than I wanted to be up, but I stayed up and happy that I
- 2:26did as the T Wolves pull off the win.
- 2:28Won a piece and Rudy Gobert, you look at the stat line.
- 2:31Didn't do anything, no, if you look at the stat.
- 2:34Uh huh. Yes.
- 2:35And you watch the game, you will have a completely different
- 2:38perspective of the way that that thing played out.
- 2:40He was a stud, a pest, an annoyance to Joker.
- 2:45In the fourth quarter, he combined, what, 4 points for.
- 2:48He was one of seven from three. Jokich and Murray had four
- 2:50points in the 4th. Quarter, that's all they got
- 2:52combined those two. They locked them up.
- 2:55Great victory for the T Wolves and this has been just
- 2:57tremendous. We've seen the Series A bunch of
- 2:59times here recently. It's a good.
- 3:00Point and they've been great. Series.
- 3:01I've been one of them. Every single time this is we
- 3:04said going in and I know we watched the T Wolves more than
- 3:07anybody else during the season in the NBA, but still this was
- 3:10the best coming in to the playoffs and it certainly played
- 3:12out. You know, these two games.
- 3:13I mean the T Wolves played terrible.
- 3:14I thought in game one long stretches and still had a shot
- 3:17in that one to pull it off. Now you go back to Minneapolis.
- 3:20So gonna be locked and loaded now and yes, look at the
- 3:23calendar. It's April 21st now.
- 3:25NBA Times. Basketball season, Trent.
- 3:27NBA basketball. Season NBA basketball season
- 3:30indeed. NHL last night was good as well.
- 3:32In a double overtime game there, Edmonton got past Anaheim.
- 3:37I thought I was going to. Run.
- 3:39That was your one, wasn't? It when they had the lead, I
- 3:41flipped over at one point I'm like, oh, they took the lead and
- 3:44then. Two straight, I got to think you
- 3:46didn't bet puck line. You just bet straight up on
- 3:48that. I did, yeah.
- 3:49And that had to be a pretty good price because Edmonton at home,
- 3:51they had to be. I would imagine they were an
- 3:53overwhelming favorite. But it all resumes again
- 3:56tonight. I love this time of year.
- 3:58It's a wonderful time of year with the winter sports, winter
- 4:01pro sports coming down the stretch.
- 4:04We will see where that goes. That just back to yesterday.
- 4:07I just want to thank chicken coop, obviously I want to thank
- 4:10Russ Carew and graphite construction.
- 4:13I I love our little mock draft that we put together.
- 4:16The fact that they go to so much trouble to put the board
- 4:21together, the picks board. So we kind of have kind of makes
- 4:26a little intrigue to it, but it it was fun.
- 4:29We'll see how we do, but two weeks are two nights rather from
- 4:33today. Yeah.
- 4:34I don't know what kind of number this thing has done in the past
- 4:38as far as television viewership. I mean, you could just put up
- 4:40the NFL logo and leave it there for an hour to do a decent
- 4:43number. But I'm, I'm, I don't know how
- 4:46how popular it's going to be this year.
- 4:48I don't sense a lot of buzz in NFL circles amongst fans
- 4:51necessarily. Absolutely.
- 4:53You know the number one pick, it's not a quarterback heavy
- 4:55draft, not going to be there. That's going to push it.
- 4:57Yeah, he's not going to be there.
- 4:58Now that doesn't matter to me one iota, but maybe it does to
- 5:01some people if the person's going to be there or not.
- 5:03But regardless of. That a television that matters.
- 5:06Yeah. I don't.
- 5:06If I have. No.
- 5:07I'm with you. Yeah.
- 5:08Say only family stay home. Absolutely right, dear draft
- 5:10party. Do it that way, no problem at
- 5:12all. And I I think, you know, from
- 5:14his perspective, certainly makes sense.
- 5:15But there's OK, you got love, skill, talent.
- 5:20Cardinal Tate was not the best wide receiver on his team.
- 5:22No, that's true. Tyson, we barely got to see
- 5:25because he's hurt all the time. And you just don't have that
- 5:28same level of, oh, I watched these guys for years.
- 5:33Here it is. Here's the Coleman.
- 5:35But here's one thing that is going to help the NFL.
- 5:37And of course, they just need even more help.
- 5:38Right. They really do trends.
- 5:39They're struggling. You love to peek ahead much more
- 5:43than I do. I definitely know.
- 5:44Peek ahead to what? To everything on the.
- 5:47End. I mean, you're already asking
- 5:48when I go out to Vegas next time when I'm going to be eaten?
- 5:51I don't know. I mean, that's you.
- 5:54You are, you are much more of a planner way ahead than I.
- 5:58And you're like, who? The Who the twins play next
- 6:00week. I don't know.
- 6:01It's it's Monday. It's Tuesday.
- 6:03I haven't peeked that far ahead. You are a peeker.
- 6:05You like to have things set and you like to know exactly how
- 6:08things are going to go. Well, that is one thing I
- 6:10actually did because on Thursday, the first round of the
- 6:13NFL draft, there are three playoff games.
- 6:16All three of those games are going to be on Amazon Prime.
- 6:21For the NBA. For the NBA, all three of those
- 6:24games are going to be on prime that.
- 6:25Helps a lot, absolutely. So they obviously they, they
- 6:29knew they didn't want to go up against.
- 6:30It yes, so the flipping and all those things that were normal,
- 6:33Well, yeah, you go to the playoff game for a while, flip
- 6:36back over. Oh, my team's coming up.
- 6:38I'll go back to the draft. Will you be there for 25 where
- 6:42the Bears pick? Yeah, yeah, I'll get back in at
- 6:45that point. Yeah, I'll be keeping an.
- 6:46Eye to keep an eye as they get close to it and make sure you
- 6:48got one of. Your and it's a lot quicker than
- 6:49it has been in the past. I mean this no?
- 6:51It's 10 minutes now, is the tops right?
- 6:53It used to be 15. Oh, I was like, Oh my God, let's
- 6:55go. Ragging on it was hours,
- 6:57absolutely of nothing, right? And what?
- 7:00Are the Raiders going to do when when they take the stage on when
- 7:03the commissioner comes up and says welcome to the NFL drafts,
- 7:06he's going to get booed. He's going to do is, you know,
- 7:08give me more, you know, is that all you got type of thing?
- 7:11And then the Raiders are going to go on the clock and it's
- 7:13going to start ticking. Do they take it all just to be
- 7:15jerks? I don't think it's to be a jerk.
- 7:17I think the NFL will ask them to do that or they'll have the card
- 7:21and they'll just wait a little bit before they come back from
- 7:23behind the stage and do it because it's still a television
- 7:26show. There's going to be, we know
- 7:28what's going to happen, but it's they'll take a good 5 minutes at
- 7:32minimum I think before they get out there.
- 7:34Even if the Cards ready, the NFL will delay it more than the
- 7:36Raiders. I would put it more on the NFL
- 7:38than the Raiders. No, I think you're right.
- 7:39And have you thought of it that way?
- 7:40I think you're probably right. They want to drag this thing out
- 7:43and talk about the Megosas and and the franchise and what they
- 7:47need and where they've been. Get a little Tom Brady talk in
- 7:50there. Get a little Tom Brady talk in
- 7:53there. Why not?
- 7:54Will we see Brady in the war room?
- 7:57Will we see? Yes, Yeah.
- 7:59Yes, I think we will. And they got to have a couple of
- 8:01shots then of that. Yeah, yeah.
- 8:03It'll be stretched out. That thing is not going to be
- 8:05done in a minute like it should be.
- 8:06Right. And not because of the Raiders.
- 8:08Because of the NFL. Yep, I agree with you.
- 8:11So good stuff that's coming up on Thursday.
- 8:13We got some some playoff basketball, hockey and some
- 8:17baseball to get to prior to that.
- 8:19By the way, Speaking of baseball, I don't want to linger
- 8:21because I didn't see a ton of the Cubs last night.
- 8:23I was switching over during commercials, but I happened to
- 8:25be there for Nico Horner. Did you see the catch that he
- 8:27made? Yes, absolutely.
- 8:29And the bat has been red hot, Red hot.
- 8:32He has kept this team and I got a little egg on my face.
- 8:35I'm like, do you really want to spend that kind of money out of
- 8:38light hitting second baseman? Yeah, he is.
- 8:40Pretty round is now 8 minutes. We just always got this
- 8:43corrected. 8 minutes so. Even quicker.
- 8:45Better, yeah. Yeah, you did say that.
- 8:48Look, wasn't crazy. He's not he's not hitting for
- 8:52power at the time, but now at least begin early in the year.
- 8:55He's incorporating that somehow into his game and he's
- 8:59incredible second baseman. Do you see the smile on his face
- 9:02when he got up off the ground? He knew he'd made a hell of a
- 9:05play. And that's going to be
- 9:06everywhere and everybody's going to be talking about it today or
- 9:09showing it on SportsCenter. So heck of a play.
- 9:13Really nice win. Really nice win for the Cubs
- 9:16last night again. And they're playing well that
- 9:18whole division. I mean, Cincinnati, what do we
- 9:20make of these of these Cincinnati Reds?
- 9:23Are we willing to, you know, to re evaluate how good this team
- 9:27might possibly be? They've got the favorite by a
- 9:29mile to win the NL rookie of the year and sell Sinatra, who it
- 9:32got called up last year. They must have been playing the
- 9:35Cubs because I watched his first game in the Major League with
- 9:39all his family there and and he's off to a terrific start.
- 9:42Did the Reds have enough to keep this up?
- 9:44I think so. This is a playoff team.
- 9:45Last year, Yeah, they're a playoff team.
- 9:47Got red hot in August? Who did they?
- 9:49Did they face? The Dodgers, yeah, We don't have
- 9:52that one. That didn't go well.
- 9:54Even if you have no memory of that series, you know how that
- 9:56series went. But a young team had a lot of
- 10:00growth last year, and you're seeing it because they're going
- 10:03to keep coming. You mentioned Sal Stewart, and
- 10:04he's off to a great start. Yeah.
- 10:06Salsa. Not sure.
- 10:07Stewart. It's Stewart.
- 10:07Stewart Yeah. But that rotation, you know,
- 10:10louder. He was good again last night.
- 10:12He's another one of those young arms that's off to a really good
- 10:14start. He's just 24 years old.
- 10:16He's been really, really solid throughout the course of the
- 10:18season. I've been fantasy.
- 10:20That's why I don't have a little bit.
- 10:21Yeah, that's one of those names that they know got some veterans
- 10:24in there. I like it.
- 10:25I, I, I like that team. I like the way that they're
- 10:27built. And you got a couple of not
- 10:29superstars yet, but De La Cruz is just so fun to watch just in
- 10:33terms of entertainment value. Velocity on the ball from short
- 10:36to 1st or wherever he's throwing.
- 10:38It's fun to watch. They spent in the offseason
- 10:40going out and getting sore as. So yeah, there's sustainability,
- 10:43there's state power. Look at the.
- 10:44Standings right now in the Central division, it's it's,
- 10:47it's upside down. And everybody is well above 5.
- 10:50100 and everybody is, it's unbelievable.
- 10:52That's got to be the only, it is for sure.
- 10:54Oh, absolutely. The only division that
- 10:55everybody's above 500. The Brewers are in last place.
- 10:58They're 12:00 and 9:00. And the last place team
- 11:02currently in the National League Central is the Brewers, yeah.
- 11:0512:00 and 9:00. At 12:00 and 9:00, they would be
- 11:08winning the AL West, they would be winning the AL Central and
- 11:13they would be 1/2 game out in the American League.
- 11:16That's the last place team in that division.
- 11:20We like the Pirates coming into the air, mention the Reds.
- 11:23We thought the Cardinals were stay away and yet they're
- 11:25playing good. Baseball Baseball team to watch.
- 11:27They swept the Astros over the weekend.
- 11:29That's going to be a good summer of having all these teams now
- 11:31competitive. It's not the Pirates, the Reds.
- 11:35No, those teams are good. Those teams have young talent
- 11:38and it's starting to pop. So going to be a fun, fun season
- 11:40in baseball. Excited to talk more about that
- 11:42with Matt Snyder. Yeah, he's coming up at 1:00.
- 11:44We'll get into our weekly MLB conversation with Matt.
- 11:49What do you expect to see? Are you going over Saturday, by
- 11:52the way, to Kennick? Are you going over TBD?
- 11:55TBD, Yes. What time does it start?
- 11:56Do you know? Is it 10, 9:30 We'll find out
- 11:59the particulars as to when everything starts over there.
- 12:04I'm well, I I want to see the quarterback battle obviously.
- 12:07And they got they got a lot of holes to fill as well.
- 12:10Is this a year? Obviously it is an Ames where we
- 12:14really have to do not only the fans about their team, but
- 12:19certainly what we do for a living, really have to do our
- 12:23homework when it comes to the depth charts once we finally get
- 12:26them or the rosters type of thing.
- 12:28I mean, I think it's going to be at least early in the year until
- 12:32you see the team. How are you going to talk with
- 12:34any credibility about Highwood State?
- 12:37We just don't know. It's guess, right?
- 12:39That's all that it is, right? These guys are coming from all
- 12:42over the place. Now we get a ton wrong in
- 12:44August, but at least we can back up our opinion.
- 12:46Well, did you see what he did last year against Baylor?
- 12:49Or hey, he came in here and he looked really good, right?
- 12:52Those are the conversations that we normally have.
- 12:55Now you don't. Know you watched Washington
- 12:58state? I watched one game.
- 13:00They're homecoming because my son's partner, Sage, she was at
- 13:05the game and it was pouring rain.
- 13:07It was homecoming. So I watched some of that, that
- 13:10game that that's all I watched. And I wasn't watching it
- 13:12thinking, well, there's Iowa State's next coach job.
- 13:14If this guys coming and this guys come.
- 13:16I couldn't remember one guy. Right.
- 13:18Yeah, that's the reality of what Iowa State is.
- 13:21And for Iowa, they return a total of 8 starters from a year
- 13:24ago. That's a low number for Iowa
- 13:26football. We haven't seen that very often.
- 13:28You couple that with the way that they went into the portal
- 13:31and not identifying those one year guys that, Oh yeah, he
- 13:33played at this power conference school.
- 13:35It's a bunch of FCS guys. Of course, we didn't see much,
- 13:38if any of those. Do you watch any Rio Grande
- 13:40Valley last year? No, you don't want to watch the
- 13:42FCS when it got to the playoffs, right?
- 13:44Furman, were they at the top of your list?
- 13:46No. Well, those might be two of the
- 13:48three starting wide receivers for Iowa and Tony Diaz, who
- 13:51we've talked about a ton. And then he is.
- 13:52He is getting so much accolades heaped on him.
- 13:55Yes, he must be legitimate. Yes.
- 13:58And I mean, you can just see the highlights.
- 13:59He just, he looks different. He goes up and gets the ball.
- 14:03He's aggressive. Can they get it to him?
- 14:05That'll be the question, and that's the top of the fold, what
- 14:08the quarterbacks look like on Saturday.
- 14:11You know, there's a part of me it feels like everybody and I
- 14:15know you and I are in the same direction.
- 14:17We want to see Jeremy Hecklinski.
- 14:18Yes, and a big part of that. Because he's a gunslinger.
- 14:22Is what happened in the Ian Anna game without his own the missed
- 14:26screen pass that would have beat the national changer.
- 14:29It's over. Idiot has a loss right.
- 14:31They're not undefeated Nope. Iowa beats them if you just
- 14:34complete a screen pass. Well, there was a little bit of
- 14:36pressure up his left side. He's playing extensively for the
- 14:40first time in the Big 10, but. He is 2 of his offensive lineman
- 14:44are in front of that play. Yeah, well, yeah, but he missed
- 14:47his throw. He missed his throw.
- 14:49He's got a better arm than Hecklinski.
- 14:51He's the safer option. Well, with Kirk Ference, do.
- 14:54You think he's going to be the starter?
- 14:56What is more likely to? Happen.
- 14:58Hank Brown's going to start. It reminds me so much of Jake
- 15:01Rudock versus CJ. Becker, my God.
- 15:04Yeah, it reminds me. And Rudock wasn't brutal.
- 15:06But no, no he was fine. But bether was just you could
- 15:10see there was something different about him.
- 15:12There was a different mentality. I don't think Hank Brown is out
- 15:17of this and I think a lot of the fan base has very reason has
- 15:21eliminated him from the race. Anointed the Klinsky as the guy.
- 15:25On top of it, even if Hecklinsky does win the job, you have to
- 15:29have Hank Brown ready. Jeremy Hecklinsky's 510 and he
- 15:32is not Diego Pavia thick. He's a little guy.
- 15:36The. Guy go Pavia.
- 15:38I'm anxious to see what if he gets his name called this
- 15:40weekend. By the way, I don't believe he
- 15:42will. Somebody going to give him a
- 15:43shot? I don't think.
- 15:44So more likely to be drafted Mark Gronowski or Diego Pavia
- 15:48that a prop we can put up there. We certainly can on on Friday
- 15:52when we do our chicken coop. That's a good one.
- 15:55I think we'll make that part of it more likely to be drafted.
- 15:58I think Gronowski, you do. Yes, he's I saw he's had some
- 16:01visits again recently. Look at his overall record in
- 16:04college. Yes, right.
- 16:06And he was playing injured last year.
- 16:07And he was playing like he doesn't have.
- 16:08He's not the most accurate guy that's ever lined up under
- 16:12center. But what a great runner he is,
- 16:16the physicality that he can play with.
- 16:19Is it something where practice practice squad?
- 16:21Javia did, and look at the where he did it at, it was Vanderbilt.
- 16:25And it was New Mexico State before that.
- 16:27And it was new. Mexico, who sucks year after
- 16:30year after year, I mean, that is the absolute bottom of the
- 16:33barrel of FBS football is New Mexico State.
- 16:36I mean you look in totality last 2025 years, they gotta be
- 16:40towards the bottom if not at the bottom and he made them good,
- 16:43got them to a bowl game, something that.
- 16:45I you know what? I'm gonna change.
- 16:46I'm gonna take Pavia. I think it's Pavia.
- 16:48I think it's Pavia. Yeah, I'm not.
- 16:49And. And if it is, it's seventh
- 16:52round. Oh, absolutely, yeah.
- 16:55Take a flyer. Take a flyer, yeah.
- 16:57Now with this his extras a couple on.
- 16:59No, I don't want him, Trent, for that reason.
- 17:03Because he's no. And and you, you can't beat
- 17:07Diego Pavia as a third string quarterback on the practice
- 17:11squad. On the practice squad, yes,
- 17:12right. That's not gonna work.
- 17:14No, it's gonna work when you're the starter in A at an SEC
- 17:17school. Or maybe you want that.
- 17:18Maybe there's a coaching staff out there.
- 17:20I think of AI, don't know a Robert Sala.
- 17:22I think of a Rabel kind of the. Rabel, by the way, spoke to the
- 17:25media today. He.
- 17:26Addressed the Rossini, the traditional old school, got a
- 17:31meet head coach, defensive coach that I want that guy in my
- 17:35practice squad. I want him going up against my
- 17:36ones. I want that guy that's going to
- 17:38be talking crap to my defense. Maybe you do want that.
- 17:42I don't think it's for everybody.
- 17:43I don't think maybe it's for many, but they're definitely.
- 17:46I could envision a couple of coaches that say, yeah, I want
- 17:50that guy. He's never going to play for us.
- 17:51But no, I don't think. He's either I want that guy out
- 17:53there as opposed to boring. Never going to play third
- 17:57Stringer. And keep in mind with them, when
- 18:01we're talking about quarterbacks, I, I didn't think
- 18:03Brock Purdy would ever throw a pass in the NFL, right?
- 18:06Yes, I wasn't alone. I think most of Cyclone Nation
- 18:08felt that way, too. Now, they don't want to admit
- 18:10it. No, of course.
- 18:11But what a story he is. My God, what a story.
- 18:14He is. We've mentioned that yesterday,
- 18:15that quarterback draft that year and go through the quarterbacks
- 18:18that came out, I mean they were head and shoulders above.
- 18:22Russ mentioned the 213, the 2013 NFL Draft.
- 18:26Did you? I went back and looked at the
- 18:2820. I knew that that was Fisher,
- 18:30that he went one overall. OK, yeah.
- 18:32And obviously that stuck with Russ because he's a Chiefs fan
- 18:35and and that didn't work out. When you look at that draft, it
- 18:40is it is by far, from top to bottom, the worst draft I've
- 18:45ever seen. You know the best players in the
- 18:47draft, if memory serves, are down in the late 20s.
- 18:51Okay, yeah, I'm seeing a few of those.
- 18:52Yeah, I'm kind of scrolling. But you got to look hard to find
- 18:55a guy that A stuck around or B made a Pro Bowl.
- 18:58Who's the top? Who's the best player to be
- 19:00drafted in the top 10? Lane Johnson.
- 19:03Yeah, right. He's still playing.
- 19:04Yes. And he was where it was 7 where
- 19:06was he dropped 4th, 4th. OK. 4th right to the eagles #1
- 19:10Eric Fisher, Luke Jokel went to the Jags.
- 19:13Dion Jordan. I don't remember a second of
- 19:15Dion Jordan for the Dolphins after Lane Johnson.
- 19:18It was Ezekiel Ansa. Yeah, I.
- 19:21Don't remember him? A defensive end out of BYU.
- 19:24That was the year the Vikings had three first round picks.
- 19:28That wasn't it in the 20s. 232529 They got Cherie Floyd.
- 19:35Not very good, no. Xavier Rhodes had moment.
- 19:38Yeah, he did. And Cordell Patterson, who had
- 19:41moments, yeah. But no, but not as a Viking.
- 19:43And not as a wide receiver, right?
- 19:45It was a receiver. They moved him to running back
- 19:47and he's returning no. He's played a lot.
- 19:48Yeah, he's played a lot. But this is an.
- 19:51Who's the Who's the best player 10 to 20?
- 19:5310 to 20. Shelton Richardson.
- 19:55It was OK. Eric Reid.
- 19:59Yeah, OK. Kyle Long at 20.
- 20:02Injuries derailed that. 1-6 years, maybe 7 years.
- 20:06Not very long. Tyler Eifert had a little bit of
- 20:08a run at tight end with the Bengals, but not much of one.
- 20:12It's ugly now. 27. DeAndre Hopkins.
- 20:15Yeah, that's kind of the top of the list.
- 20:17That you're going through. Travis Fredericks had a nice
- 20:19career. And he was, he was right toward
- 20:21the end of the. Draft he was and the Cowboys
- 20:23were killed for that, Howie. Oh yes, I remember that vividly
- 20:27because I I pushed back on that big time.
- 20:29You got your Center for the next decade.
- 20:30You do. And they had the Center for the
- 20:31next decade. I, I it's the same thing with
- 20:34guards. People get annoyed with it.
- 20:35Oh, you've taken a car. Well, if it's a guard that plays
- 20:37for the next decade for you, it is a starter.
- 20:39That is a good draft pick this draft though.
- 20:43No, I don't know. It's it's slim Pickens, I think
- 20:46in a lot of ways. Is the ability now for guys to
- 20:50stick around for next year, make money in college, is that
- 20:53hurting? At least just the way we came
- 20:55off, just coming off the COVID guys, we stayed around forever,
- 20:59which led to last year's draft being stacked.
- 21:01We're already looking to 27. See, I don't remember any draft
- 21:05eligible saying, you know what, I'm going to forgo the
- 21:07opportunity to GoPro and come back to college for another year
- 21:10do. You.
- 21:13I'm sure they're out. There, I'm sure they're real,
- 21:15but but it's there's no one that really because it's such a not
- 21:20for long sport, right. Absolutely, yeah.
- 21:23Get that money, try to get that guaranteed contract and go from
- 21:25there. It is.
- 21:28I'm not overly intrigued by this year's draft.
- 21:30That's why I think the numbers are going to be not, not nowhere
- 21:33near what they once were in the last few years.
- 21:35We'll see where it goes. All right, we're going to go to
- 21:37break. But before we do that, yes, the
- 21:40keywords are back. It's your chance to win $1000.
- 21:43Head to your station's website. If you're listening in, like in
- 21:46head to kxno.com from anywhere in the state.
- 21:49But once you get there, you'll see a pop up box.
- 21:51And in that pop up box, type the keyword family. family@kxno.com
- 21:56Your chance to win $1000. family@kxno.com your chance to

- 23:09We're back with Bill Seals to talk Iowa State, Miller and
- 23:13Condon on the Iowa Sports Radio Network.
- 23:15Hi Miller and Condon, welcome back Iowa Sports Radio Network.
- 23:18Trenton Ken with you until 2:00. Trent's plays it today.
- 23:21Still to come, Circus sports sponsor those five and one
- 23:24yesterday. Boom boom, 5:00 and 1:00.
- 23:27That's going to happen again. Let's put them together, stack
- 23:30them up. You're due for one of these
- 23:31runs. Oh yes, let's get to Bill Seals
- 23:34covers Iowa State's certainly been busy spring game coming up
- 23:37this weekend. They're going to open up the
- 23:38gates. Bill Seals joins us
- 23:40cyclereport.com part of rival slash on three Bill, I guess
- 23:43let's start there before we pick your brain as to what you saw,
- 23:46what you listen to and how family's rosters coming
- 23:49together. Do you have the actual
- 23:51particulars, what Saturday's going to look like, what side of
- 23:55Jack Trice is going to be open, what time it's going to get
- 23:57underway, etcetera? Do you know Bill?
- 24:00We expect about a 1030 start on that.
- 24:04Don't really have too many more details than that right now,
- 24:07just that it'll be about 10:30. You know, Rogers was, I think
- 24:13wanting to play it clear up until the end of this week as
- 24:18far as is kind of how many reps they want to go through in that,
- 24:22you know, it's called, it's being called a spring showcase.
- 24:25So I don't, I don't know that it's going to be like the spring
- 24:29games that we saw of several years ago that we grew up
- 24:33watching, but there will be some live situations there.
- 24:37I I think some team situations and they'll, you know, they'll
- 24:40put the capper on 15 spring practices and they got a leave a
- 24:45youth camp coming up right after the showcase on Saturday as
- 24:49well. So another good way I think for
- 24:51this new staff to to continue promoting the program.
- 24:55Eyes will be on the quarterback, they always are.
- 24:57And do you believe it's a real competition?
- 24:59We heard that last week. Is that something that is more
- 25:02coach speak or reality when we look at the quarterbacks?
- 25:06Well, I'm, it may be a little bit of coach speak there.
- 25:10I, I still think Rainer when you know, he was brought in to, to
- 25:14be the QB one here, but they have wanted to put all those
- 25:18guys I think in competitive situations over the, the spring
- 25:22and see how things work out. I, I think I don't think it's
- 25:25any secret, you know, really with this type of offense that
- 25:29they're going to run under Tyler role.
- 25:31Not as much shotgun maybe as what Rayner was out of at
- 25:35Arkansas State. I think it was primarily out of
- 25:38the shotgun, but he'll be under center.
- 25:40I think a little bit more here and you know, maybe a little a
- 25:43little bit different look for him.
- 25:45So I think there's been some challenges for him to work
- 25:48through there. Oklahoma State has said that the
- 25:52transfer Zayn Forrest sounds like he's had his moments as
- 25:55well. And I think he's doing a nice
- 25:57job of of pushing Rainer. But you know, Rainer's a
- 26:01three-year starter in the in Division One FBS football.
- 26:05I think he was brought here to be a starting quarterback and I
- 26:08anticipate he will be. And you know, who knows what
- 26:11Flores, he's a a red shirt sophomore, had a a medical in
- 26:16there as well. So I think that the foundation's
- 26:19setting up to be a good one for him as he moves forward.
- 26:22And, you know, who knows how that whole thing looks in 2027?
- 26:26No, no, no doubt about it. What's Coach Heckendorf like to
- 26:30talk to? Is he is he pretty open when
- 26:32he's talking about his quarterbacks or guardian?
- 26:36Yeah, well, no, I think he's pretty open on on things.
- 26:39You know, if if the subscribers had followed my, you know, my
- 26:44running thread out of yesterday's media
- 26:48availabilities. Yeah, I mean, he's he's very
- 26:51thorough and and really broke down things pretty well.
- 26:54I think we had him for over 20 minutes.
- 26:56So it was a pretty extended period of time.
- 27:00You know, Jesse Bobbitt, I think we're spoiled with those
- 27:02coordinators right now. You know, nothing against what
- 27:05we had with with Haycock and Mouser.
- 27:07Those guys were great. But I'll tell you what between,
- 27:12you know, role, what we had earlier in the the spring,
- 27:16Bobbitt, you know, Heckendorf was an offensive coordinator
- 27:19last season for Rainer and he, you know, he speaks like an
- 27:23offensive coordinator. So I think we've been pretty
- 27:25spoiled this spring in terms of what we've gotten for
- 27:29information. Bill, I know we've talked about
- 27:31the wide receiver position, the offensive line and trying to
- 27:34figure that thing out. We haven't talked a ton.
- 27:36I don't think about running back Eden Flores back.
- 27:38We saw him at moments. Of course, his returnability
- 27:41definitely jumps out there. Bringing Cameron Pett away from
- 27:44Bowling Green Allah from Oregon State.
- 27:46What have you heard about the running back position and how
- 27:48solid they feel there in terms of just the guys that are going
- 27:51to get carries and the depth that they build at running back?
- 27:55Yeah, I think that, you know, they're, they're, I think
- 27:58they're happy with what the obviously what they've gotten
- 28:00with Flora. He's kind of been the, he's kind
- 28:03of been the talk of, of spring ball and from start to finish
- 28:08here. And I think done a very nice
- 28:10job. You know, Salahuddin Allah, I
- 28:14think, you know, they wanted to kind of get him into into shape
- 28:18a little bit and, you know, see, see how he goes throughout the
- 28:23the spring. I think he's done a nice job
- 28:25there. And then I think, you know, you
- 28:27look at him and he's kind of got that workhorse running back
- 28:31written all over him. You know, we'll see what happens
- 28:34with Flora. He hasn't really been in that
- 28:36role. I think that's kind of the
- 28:37concern there is, is, you know, asking him to be a three down
- 28:41back would be a lot, I think after the role that he's played
- 28:45so far. But who knows?
- 28:47I it it could happen and I think he wants to be preparing that
- 28:51way. And then that Cam Petaway, I
- 28:53think he continues to kind of have that look about him of, you
- 28:57know, being a change of pace type of guy, a scat back,
- 29:00someone who can catch the ball out of the backfield.
- 29:03But you know that I think there are some concerns about this
- 29:06position as well. Obviously River Peppers, I don't
- 29:10think they're going to get much out of him this season coming
- 29:12off the Achilles injury, his first play of his of his college
- 29:17career last season. Jaden Jackson.
- 29:21Yeah, right. And Jaden Jackson, he was a
- 29:23freshman that redshirted a year ago.
- 29:25I I don't think that, you know, they've seen much from him yet
- 29:29this spring. So, you know, we'll we'll see
- 29:32how we'll, we'll see how this thing shakes up.
- 29:35You know, they are, I, I think that they might look, I've kind
- 29:39of heard conflicting reports on if they're going to go the JUCO
- 29:43route. You know, they're, they're, they
- 29:45got an eye on a Kansas guy right now.
- 29:48I've kind of heard conflicting reports say, oh, he is supposed
- 29:51to be here this week, but kind of conflicting reports about if
- 29:55he is a take right now or if I or if they want to wait maybe a
- 30:00few more weeks and and kind of get an idea how this spring, you
- 30:04know, how they are coming out of this and if they do want to
- 30:07bring in an extra guy for this season.
- 30:09So this is what I was told, Bill, somebody told me he would
- 30:12bet a lot of money it's Salahudina laws going to be the
- 30:15guy that has the injuries aside, but it's going to be a law
- 30:19that's going to be the bell cow. Would you would would does that
- 30:22line up with what you're hearing at all?
- 30:24I think so. I think so you, you look at
- 30:26those backs right now and he's got that workhorse every down
- 30:30back kind of look. I think there were just some
- 30:33challenges to him at the start of, of, of winter workouts after
- 30:38he had reported and then going into the spring.
- 30:41And you know, also, maybe who knows, maybe what the coaches
- 30:44there they're they're, you know, the first two always mentioned
- 30:48have been flora and, and pet away.
- 30:51And, you know, maybe they're kind of hoping that Allah kind
- 30:54of goes under the radar a little bit and that, you know, it can
- 30:58be a guy that really develops into that role.
- 31:00Have your expectations changed at all this spring?
- 31:03Getting to talk to all these coaches, getting to learn more
- 31:05about this roster one way or the other.
- 31:07Have your expectations changed, Bill?
- 31:11Not, not really. I mean it, I think it's still,
- 31:15it's still going to be a work in progress.
- 31:18I think, you know, one thing that, you know, it's kind of
- 31:22been abundantly clear over the the spring is there's not really
- 31:25going to be a depth chart on this team for a while.
- 31:27I think that a lot of things, and I mean, that's not
- 31:30necessarily just coach speak, you know, we wouldn't get a
- 31:33depth chart out of Campbell until the first one we would get
- 31:36was ahead of the season opener. We wouldn't get anything over
- 31:39the offseason. But I think I think in this case
- 31:42it it holds true that there's just a lot really unsettled I
- 31:46think about this team and a lot of moving pieces and that, you
- 31:51know, just almost 15 spring practices in and I think a lot
- 31:55of competition is going to carry over and into the fall here.
- 31:58But I think they've got a nice foundation.
- 32:01I think the spring, a lot about the spring was about learning
- 32:05the scheme for these guys. I think a lot easier probably on
- 32:09the defensive side of the ball because of that staff continuity
- 32:12and those guys haven't been together and a lot of guys
- 32:14coming from Wazoo, but you know, on the offensive side they've
- 32:18been playing catch up a little bit.
- 32:20But I think that they they're getting there with what Role
- 32:23wants to do offensively. What's going to be the strength
- 32:26of the offense? I think, you know, physicality,
- 32:31I, I guess is one thing that they've preached from the start.
- 32:35I, I think that they, they've got the makings.
- 32:39I think of an offensive line that's going to play with a lot
- 32:42of intensity and then try to out physical that the, the guy
- 32:45across from the ball from him. So I think when you look at the,
- 32:50the strengths, I, I, I think probably running the ball is
- 32:53going to, is going to be what they try to lean on.
- 32:56They've got a quarterback and Jalen Rainer we you know, I
- 32:59obviously had him a little bit yesterday.
- 33:01He's a guy that can do some things with his feet and and is
- 33:05really going to add. I I think, you know, we we saw
- 33:08that from time to time with Rocco backed and then just
- 33:10injuries I think took hold there, especially last season.
- 33:14It was non existent, the quarterback run game.
- 33:17But that's going to re enter the picture I think in a big way
- 33:20with Jalen Rainer and his his veteran experience.
- 33:25And I think he's going to add an entirely different perspective.
- 33:28So I would say probably that. Over to some basketball.
- 33:32Let's start on the women's side. A couple of commitments here in
- 33:35the last couple of days. He had a Harvey makes her way
- 33:37over from Washington came out grew up in Australia and then a
- 33:41big out of coming in from Alex and beset.
- 33:45What can tell us about that that roster filling out process what
- 33:48they're doing at this point in time maybe a little bit better
- 33:50than some. I mean, it felt like the sky was
- 33:52falling for a while, as you know what?
- 33:55And at least a hole, maybe some light at the end of the tunnel.
- 33:59Yeah, I mean it it it seems like they're they're going to return
- 34:03to kind of that high flying up and down team that likes to
- 34:09shoot a lot of threes. Kind of like what I mean what we
- 34:12all grew up there. You know, as we watch this
- 34:16Finley team play in the the 2000s, two thousand 10s, they
- 34:20they were a team that loved to play up tempo, love to shoot the
- 34:24three. You'll look at what they brought
- 34:26in so far. A lot of a lot of guards.
- 34:30So and you know, even the I guess gift Ezekiel out of
- 34:35Florida probably being the one exception, But you know, they
- 34:38got that six to Alex and Bessette and she played on the
- 34:42ball a lot this past season in her own right.
- 34:46So she's got some experience playing in the back court.
- 34:49So think what you're seeing so far as it's going to be a guard
- 34:52oriented team and you know, maybe one that likes to get up
- 34:56and down the floor and shoot the three.
- 34:59Bill, have you done any digging? I know that she's an Oklahoma
- 35:02State cowgirl now. 1.4 million for Audie Crooks did.
- 35:08Did you maybe reach out to your Oklahoma State colleague?
- 35:12And I mean, is there any truth to that Bill that it's that
- 35:14much, do you know? I think it I think that's
- 35:17actually pretty close Kenny. I had talked to her sources on
- 35:22my end and yeah, I mean, good for her to to be able to secure
- 35:26that. You know, probably well did did
- 35:30probably get told no, I think on that asking price by a number of
- 35:34programs, but I think goes into a pretty good situation for her.
- 35:38You look at the Big 12 program well and even nationwide that
- 35:42the programs that lost the most players will Oklahoma State
- 35:45right up there with Iowa State in terms of just overhauling a
- 35:48completely overhauling a roster. So she's in a nice situation
- 35:53there, but gosh, it makes you wonder how much more money
- 35:56Oklahoma State's got to spend out out of this.
- 35:59And you know, Iowa State's got a roster now, I believe by my
- 36:03count of nine scholarship players.
- 36:05So Finley's done a pretty good job here of of filling that one
- 36:10up. And and they even got a 2027
- 36:13commitment too. So that's kind of we'll see how
- 36:16that one plays out, obviously with Coach Finley's contract
- 36:19situation. But you know, when you go out
- 36:22and get one of the top players in the state of Iowa, you know,
- 36:26Sioux City, Bishop Healon, so Molina Snoozy 2027 and then,
- 36:32yeah, I mean, a top, what, 7075 player nationally.
- 36:36So, you know, even beyond this season, they got a few pieces in
- 36:41the fold. Beyond beyond the 2627 campaign,
- 36:45anyway. Speaking of former Cyclones on
- 36:47the men's side, what's the latest you're hearing on Milan
- 36:50Manchilovich going through the NBA draft Waters, obviously, but
- 36:54when you're looking at other candidates, I saw Louisville
- 36:56popped up the other day, some Rome leagues about Kentucky.
- 36:59What are you hearing on that front?
- 37:01Yeah, nothing, nothing too much really on that on that trend at
- 37:06least kind of on my end of things.
- 37:09I don't even think there's been too much up on on three about if
- 37:13he's taking any visits again, I think his entirely his focus
- 37:18right now is on preparing for the NBA draft.
- 37:21And I would, I, I would still think that it's a pretty good,
- 37:26pretty good chance that he's going to remain in that and, and
- 37:29see how things play out on the said on the two draft nights or
- 37:34one draft night, I suppose. Yeah, last date that you can
- 37:37withdraw is June the 13th. So he's got some time whether to
- 37:41ultimately make that decision or not.
- 37:44Here's a very difficult question.
- 37:46I would think specifically, especially rather at at this
- 37:49point, to answer once we get to to week #1 how many of the
- 37:55starters actually were at Iowa State last year?
- 38:01Either side of the ball in football, Yep Yep.
- 38:04Pivoting back to football, Yep. That are that are on the field.
- 38:09You're talking like in starting. Starting role starting Yeah, of
- 38:1211 and 11. Give me how many?
- 38:16Well, I think Barrett probably is one of the starters on the
- 38:20offensive line. OK, shit, you know what?
- 38:25It's hard pressed again on on offense.
- 38:27There's just think maybe, well, you know, I, I would say Keaton,
- 38:32Keaton Roscop. OK.
- 38:34Yeah, tight end. Maybe, maybe he's a guy and and
- 38:37he's a perfect Tyler Roll kind of guy at that position too.
- 38:42And he loves blocking. So I I would imagine maybe
- 38:45Roscop, one of those guys in there shifting gears to defense,
- 38:50probably Carson Willick. I would imagine he's moved
- 38:54inside. That sounds like a good fit for
- 38:56him. I think the four man fronts been
- 38:58a good move where he's potentially I think they really
- 39:04like some of these guys that they brought with them even from
- 39:10from Washington state. So they're you know, there's so
- 39:16many of these guys. Bryson Lamb I think is one of
- 39:19those guys inside at the Zamir Hawks position.
- 39:22I think Hawks. So I think Lamb's going to be
- 39:25one of those starters. The kid they got from South
- 39:28Dakota as well, the former Iowa kid.
- 39:31Again, there's like 80 names here.
- 39:34Yeah. Kaden cry.
- 39:35Yeah. So many of these guys that
- 39:37recall on a moment's notice. I think Crawford probably
- 39:40another one of those interior starters.
- 39:42So I think Hawks got maybe an uphill battle will continued
- 39:47uphill battle once they start fall camp.
- 39:49But certainly I think he's a guy in the in the rotation to get
- 39:53some time and then in the secondary, you know, the the big
- 39:57news of last week, Brayton all safety out.
- 40:01Maybe that opens up a spot for a Drew Surgis to play.
- 40:06He's got starting experience now over a couple years.
- 40:09So perhaps Surgis is a is another one of those guys and
- 40:13then that corner. I will.
- 40:16We'll see. We'll see how that one plays
- 40:19out. Coffee, yeah, he's a David
- 40:22Coffey. He's a guy.
- 40:23He had some injuries last season, I think was poised to
- 40:26play a bigger role and didn't really work out that way.
- 40:29But, you know, potentially Coffee could be one of those two
- 40:32corners. But they again, they recruited
- 40:34Jaheim Singletary out of Arkansas too Key on Washington.
- 40:38There's some other guys back there, Seth Johnson, I believe
- 40:41another out of the FCS ranks. So a lot of numbers there and in
- 40:45coffee still, he's gonna have a battle on his hands come fall
- 40:49camp at at corner. That's a good thing.
- 40:52That's a good thing. Bill seals cyclereport.com on
- 40:56three media. Bill, we will pick your brain as
- 40:59to what you saw on Saturday when you join us on Monday.
- 41:02Look forward to it, Bill. Have a wonderful weekend.
- 41:04Thanks for being flexible this week, and we'll talk to you next
- 41:07week. Thanks, Bill Seals.
- 41:09Sounds great. Looking forward to it guys, have
- 41:11a good one. You do the same, Bill Seals, as
- 41:13we check on Iowa State football and woman's basketball.
- 41:16Take time out, come back, finish up our hour.
- 41:19Miller and Condon on the Iowa Sports Radio Network.
- 41:22I'm Miller Condon. Welcome back Iowa sports Radio
- 41:24network Trenton Ken with you until 2O clock.
- 41:27Matt Snyder kicks off our second hour talking Major League
- 41:30Baseball with our national MLB guy Matt Snyder.
- 41:33CBSSports.com Scott Dockerman coming up here at 1:30.
- 41:37So I just went over to ourlads.com, which is where we
- 41:40find the college football depth chart.
- 41:42Absolutely yes. And I clicked on Iowa State's
- 41:45depth chart and and the blue is for returning starters.
- 41:49Gold is is newcomers to the roster transfers in this.
- 41:54I've never seen anything like it.
- 41:55I remember we had this conversation with the college
- 41:57team about Memphis. Was it Memphis last?
- 42:00Year it was Memphis and at that time I think it was something
- 42:03like because the yellow guys are the transfer.
- 42:05Guys, the yellow guys are the ourlads.com and that'll give you
- 42:07all the teams. Click on the depth chart for
- 42:10your team and away you'll. Go.
- 42:11It's a really good resource. It really is, but how?
- 42:13Do these guys get this? Well, they're just guessing.
- 42:15They're just guessing us. Absolutely.
- 42:18But Memphis a year ago had something like 9 starters on
- 42:22both sides of the ball were transfers, and we thought that
- 42:24was asinine. Never seen this before, never
- 42:26will again. Now you go to the Cyclone one.
- 42:29The offense is all gold. That means all.
- 42:32Transfers, all transfers the defense has good for Bill
- 42:36steals, he's on it. Zamir, Hawk, Carson, Willich and
- 42:39Drew Surges and everybody else transferring in.
- 42:43So three guys, yes, total, total.
- 42:48Including the whole offense. Including the entire offense.
- 42:52Who's the the lineman? He did say Austin Barrett.
- 42:56Barrett's they have him a second on the depth chart, but I would
- 43:00love to find out just how accurate these guys are once we
- 43:05get to September to see, you know, were they just guessing
- 43:09like everybody? But points, points stands from
- 43:12our first segment. We are you guys.
- 43:15When you start talking about this Iowa State team and how
- 43:18they're going to look this year, how can you with any degree of I
- 43:21mean, even if you're wrong, right, at least you haven't
- 43:24taken an opinion that you can back up with what you think is
- 43:28knowledge. It's just so I've never seen
- 43:31anything like it. It's got to be frustrating for
- 43:33the fan base in a way. Then all the Penn State stuff
- 43:37that's out there, it just feels like salt in the wounds at
- 43:39times. Every time Rocco speaks, it
- 43:41feels like salt in the wounds, right?
- 43:42It does, I get it. But you know, that's the world
- 43:46that we live in. So Bill Seals backing up the
- 43:47report of 1.4 million Ferrati crooks.
- 43:50That makes sure that I I saw this on Twitter yesterday.
- 43:53The third highest women women's basketball player, period.
- 43:58Including. Including Asia Wilson, yes,
- 44:00number one, I think Leigh Boston, maybe two.
- 44:02OK. And then Audie.
- 44:03Crooks. Yeah, good buddy if he can get
- 44:06it. Holy mackerel.
- 44:07And she did. Apparently, according to Bill,
- 44:09he did some research, and I'm guessing he was that research
- 44:13came from his colleagues at the on three.
- 44:15And Yep, that number is accurate.
- 44:17Wow. Wow.
- 44:19Finley's done a decent. Job.
- 44:20You know what, I agree, Trent, I totally agree.
- 44:22And I wasn't sure lame duck coach is going to want to come
- 44:25and play. And if so, how good can they
- 44:27possibly be? I have no idea if they're if
- 44:29they're good or. Not.
- 44:30Right, but he's putting a roster.
- 44:32Together. Well, and maybe one of the more
- 44:34confounding things we talked about the two transfers they
- 44:36just got here in the last couple of days, but the high school
- 44:38kid, I'm. I'm getting the snoozy girl from
- 44:40Sioux City. Yeah.
- 44:41Out of Heelin. That was the most shocking
- 44:45because who's your coach going to be, right?
- 44:47Is there a wink and a nod there? Well, they have the Air and
- 44:50Parrot in the building. No.
- 44:54You wouldn't think so, but if you're committing to a program
- 45:01now, maybe our family is Iowa State people, too.
- 45:03Maybe. That it's just about the name on
- 45:06the front, and that's all that matters.
- 45:07Our Tube Matt Snyder, Scott Dockerman Trench Plays of the
- 45:11day that's coming up on the Iowa Sports Radio Network.
