- 0:00Speaker 1: They'll mark someim own show live from the woor Life
- 0:04Speaker 1: back studio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Oh actually I'm not really ready, but I already don't
- 0:19Speaker 2: like today. It's too hot out. It's really hot and
- 0:21Speaker 2: muggy and sticky. And this is not the heat wave.
- 0:26Speaker 2: This is nothing compared to what it's going to be.
- 0:29Speaker 2: It's going to be eighty nine today, ninety five tomorrow,
- 0:33Speaker 2: then one hundred Thursday and Friday, real feel one hundred
- 0:38Speaker 2: and eleven and cools off a little Saturday ninety five.
- 0:43Speaker 2: But there's a big thunderstorm on Saturday and it doesn't
- 0:49Speaker 2: look good. Doesn't look good. Well anyway, again, go outside.
- 0:54Speaker 2: If you don't like this weather, you're not gonna like
- 0:56Speaker 2: Florida for half the year. So we got a lot
- 0:59Speaker 2: to get there's some interesting candidates that want to jump
- 1:02Speaker 2: in the mayoral race already. We'll get to the Great
- 1:06Speaker 2: Clive Davis's funeral. We'll get to President Trump, we'll get
- 1:11Speaker 2: to Iran, we'll get to the Supreme Court, we'll get
- 1:13Speaker 2: to Crazy Mom Danni, and a whole lot more coming
- 1:16Speaker 2: up now. Speaking of this heat wave in Paris, when
- 1:19Speaker 2: much of Europe, but especially Paris, have been going through
- 1:22Speaker 2: a brutal heat wave like what we're going to go through,
- 1:26Speaker 2: and it's very tough there. You know, thirteen hundred people
- 1:29Speaker 2: have died in Europe. You know, out of all the
- 1:32Speaker 2: different types of weather that can kill people, nothing has
- 1:35Speaker 2: caused more deaths than heat, more than floods, more than tornadoes.
- 1:39Speaker 2: More people have died from heat. It's the most dangerous
- 1:42Speaker 2: form of weather. So just now in Europe, thirteen hundred
- 1:46Speaker 2: people have died from this. The last heat wave on
- 1:49Speaker 2: this scale was two thousand and three. Fifteen thousand people
- 1:53Speaker 2: died in France. Now. One of the reasons is they
- 1:57Speaker 2: don't have air conditioning over there. They really don't. There's
- 2:01Speaker 2: very very little air conditioning. Maybe only twenty five percent
- 2:05Speaker 2: of households in France have air conditioning. A you know,
- 2:08Speaker 2: if you looked at Paris, those buildings, you know they're
- 2:10Speaker 2: very old, ancient buildings. They just weren't equipped with air conditioning.
- 2:15Speaker 2: And you know, the beautiful, ornate, gorgeous Paris. But you
- 2:18Speaker 2: can't just stick a air conditioner in the window there.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It's not going to look right. But apparently left wing
- 2:26Speaker 2: Kooki socialists Parisian politicians are blaming the US. They're actually
- 2:33Speaker 2: telling French citizens. It's all our fault that have it
- 2:37Speaker 2: worse than we do. It's one hundred and four there.
- 2:39Speaker 2: But they're telling all of them that it's because of
- 2:42Speaker 2: our air conditioning. We have air conditioning everywhere here, and
- 2:45Speaker 2: it's caused a carbon emission and a climate change and
- 2:48Speaker 2: that's why they got the heat wave. Of course, none
- 2:50Speaker 2: of this is true. There's no connection between carbon emission
- 2:54Speaker 2: and this heat wave, none whatsoever. But yeah, screaming, the
- 3:00Speaker 2: US is ninety percent air conditioning. It's really tough when
- 3:04Speaker 2: you live in Paris, very very very few buildings or
- 3:08Speaker 2: apartments have air conditioning. And the one reason is, again
- 3:13Speaker 2: the old buildings don't really accommodate it very well. And
- 3:16Speaker 2: the others they voted in through the years, these left
- 3:19Speaker 2: wing kook politicians who don't allow air conditioning, environmental concerns,
- 3:25Speaker 2: cultural concerns, strict building codes. But the tides are starting
- 3:31Speaker 2: to change over there. Summers get hotter and hotter, French
- 3:33Speaker 2: people starting to revolt like crazy Iran. Well, you know,
- 3:39Speaker 2: there's all kinds of back and forth and up and down,
- 3:42Speaker 2: and you know, you get people that love President Trump,
- 3:47Speaker 2: just love him, but they're mad about to Iran. You
- 3:49Speaker 2: know you got you gotta remember what Trump. He'll take chances,
- 3:54Speaker 2: he'll take risks. He'll just jump in there and take
- 3:57Speaker 2: the risk, go way out on a limb, and it
- 3:59Speaker 2: may go badly for a time, but come back in
- 4:02Speaker 2: a month or two and I'll have it all figured out.
- 4:04Speaker 2: This is just step seven of twenty seven steps. He'll
- 4:07Speaker 2: get it figured out.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Well.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Oil prices are way down. They're down to seventy dollars.
- 4:12Speaker 2: They've been a sixty eight. That's pretty much like pre
- 4:15Speaker 2: Iran war levels. Now it hasn't come down in the pumps.
- 4:20Speaker 2: But when the price of oil comes down to normal,
- 4:24Speaker 2: it takes a while. It can take weeks and weeks
- 4:26Speaker 2: for that to make it to the gas pumps. You know,
- 4:29Speaker 2: a lagging thing. President Trump now threatening the oil companies,
- 4:32Speaker 2: said just bring it down now immediately, which they could do.
- 4:37Speaker 2: They really could do that. We have more than enough oil.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I know the world price might be different, but we
- 4:43Speaker 2: don't depend on the world price. We have since President
- 4:46Speaker 2: Trumpell took office and open up drilling everywhere, we now
- 4:50Speaker 2: drill more oil than we could ever use. We're now
- 4:53Speaker 2: the biggest producer of oil in the year in the world.
- 4:56Speaker 2: We have so much oil that we're just giving it
- 4:58Speaker 2: away to other countries, so we could easily bring down
- 5:02Speaker 2: the price and not have to worry about what it
- 5:03Speaker 2: is anywhere else in the world. So President Trump threatening
- 5:07Speaker 2: the oil companies bring it down immediately. It's averages three
- 5:10Speaker 2: point eighty. He wants it down to two point fifty
- 5:12Speaker 2: a gallon, and they could do that. Let's see how
- 5:15Speaker 2: they respond to his threats. You know they might. They
- 5:18Speaker 2: might take that seriously and bring them right down. Was
- 5:23Speaker 2: it Newark Airport where the drone? These guys are on
- 5:26Speaker 2: the run. A drone hits a plane. These drones are
- 5:29Speaker 2: up there. You know, no matter what happens to a pilot,
- 5:32Speaker 2: drone could hit the front of the plane. That they
- 5:34Speaker 2: stay so calm, listen to these guys.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Almost ran into a gigantic RC airplane right over there
- 5:40Speaker 4: at four centers.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Interesting, he's not on my radar here six fox shutt it.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Do you think it was like somewhere like a drone
- 5:47Speaker 5: or like can you describe it?
- 5:50Speaker 2: See a lot of these pilots are from somewhere else.
- 5:52Speaker 2: They're not in New York or you know New York
- 5:53Speaker 2: would go. But how was it. But these pilots we
- 5:56Speaker 2: ran into a drone.
- 5:58Speaker 5: Do you think it was like someone like a drone
- 6:00Speaker 5: or like can you describe it?
- 6:04Speaker 4: It was just an RC one of the rock cold airplanes,
- 6:08Speaker 4: a big one at five hundred feet.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Yeah, they just stay very calm.
- 6:13Speaker 6: He collide with a groan back there in the turn.
- 6:16Speaker 4: You said you collided.
- 6:17Speaker 7: Yep, it hit it right right above.
- 6:19Speaker 2: The Yeah, yeah, yep, yeah it is. That was in
- 6:24Speaker 2: New York. They'd be screaming, they'd be suing somebody, they'd
- 6:27Speaker 2: be going nuts over this. So hey, we're talking about
- 6:32Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer yesterday, who made an absolute fool out of
- 6:36Speaker 2: himself at the Pride parade. It was absolutely ridiculous. He
- 6:41Speaker 2: was being booed like crazy. He's a cheap, tone deaf,
- 6:45Speaker 2: pandering old dinosaur who doesn't even know how to pander anymore.
- 6:50Speaker 2: He has this bullhorn. You're not supposed to talk, just
- 6:53Speaker 2: marching way. He's got a bullhorn. He's yelling at the
- 6:55Speaker 2: crowd that he has a gay daughter. He was the
- 6:58Speaker 2: first to march in this Pride, just bragging like an idiot.
- 7:02Speaker 2: He is so hated right now, he is so loathed
- 7:07Speaker 2: it's almost I would say he's actually worse than Cuomo
- 7:10Speaker 2: now as far as being loathed by New York. But
- 7:14Speaker 2: look at this is CNN. This is the CNN pollster.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Schumer is now setting unbelievable new records for the lowest
- 7:22Speaker 2: poll numbers ever listened to the CNN pollster.
- 7:24Speaker 8: Chuck Schumer's net favorite rating with Dems now versus the
- 7:28Speaker 8: last time Democrats were going for that Senate majority in
- 7:30Speaker 8: early twenty twenty. Look at this, Chuck Schumer was forty
- 7:33Speaker 8: points above water, very much on the positive side of
- 7:36Speaker 8: the ledger with Democrats. Look at this, Look at this change.
- 7:39Speaker 3: This is nuts.
- 7:40Speaker 8: Johnny be Off on the side going, my goodness, gracious,
- 7:43Speaker 8: now he's a point underwater with Democrats.
- 7:47Speaker 2: He is the most hated politician in America, with absolutely
- 7:53Speaker 2: no future. It's all over hey. Yesterday with the Clive
- 7:57Speaker 2: Davis funeral. It began a ten and went over there
- 8:01Speaker 2: after the show, but it was just the tail end.
- 8:04Speaker 2: But a lot of people spoke. Bruce Springsteen, discovered by
- 8:08Speaker 2: Clive Davis, spoke at the funeral on that day.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Clive showed a twenty two year old nobody the same warmth,
- 8:17Speaker 3: the same kindness, the same respect that he would show
- 8:22Speaker 3: me after all my success for the next fifty years.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah, Springsteen went on to great success, and he became
- 8:30Speaker 2: quite the raging left wing lunatic in the process. But
- 8:33Speaker 2: you know, that's a musician.
- 8:35Speaker 9: He guided the listening public towards so much powerful and
- 8:38Speaker 9: inspiring music. And he not only loved music, Clive actually
- 8:46Speaker 9: loved the people who.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Made the music.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah, now we love Clive. He was a wonderful guy.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I can tell you all kinds of things about I
- 8:53Speaker 2: wonderful he was. But he was also a left wing
- 8:57Speaker 2: kook when it came to politics. And when you went
- 9:00Speaker 2: to Clive's house when there's a party, there was Don
- 9:03Speaker 2: Lemon and there was Gail King and every left wing
- 9:08Speaker 2: doubt and then that's just hey, that's that's part of
- 9:11Speaker 2: the music business. That's most people in the music business.
- 9:13Speaker 10: So uh.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Dion Warwick came in to New York to speak at
- 9:18Speaker 2: the at the funeral.
- 9:19Speaker 11: You be talking to him when asked how to you
- 9:23Speaker 11: he was his dear friend who cared about Dion. I mean,
- 9:28Speaker 11: there was not anything that he ever did that I
- 9:31Speaker 11: didn't get the first phone call. You will be there right.
- 9:36Speaker 11: I don't know if I can make this from leaving.
- 9:41Speaker 11: He was always asking, where's my dion?
- 9:45Speaker 2: All right, not exactly Winston Churchill, but she's a great singer.
- 9:48Speaker 2: It comes to speak. Hey, Alicia Keys, was there a well?
- 9:52Speaker 12: Music was such reverence, like it was sacred, like it mattered,
- 9:59Speaker 12: like it meant some thing in a world that so
- 10:03Speaker 12: often reduces art to commerce and genius to product. You
- 10:09Speaker 12: held the line. You reminded me again and again that
- 10:14Speaker 12: what we were doing was about truth and legacy, and
- 10:20Speaker 12: about the human heart reaching out to another human heart
- 10:24Speaker 12: and saying you're not alone. When we first met, you
- 10:30Speaker 12: told me that he would treat me like Joni Mitchell,
- 10:36Speaker 12: and I was.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Like, whoa, Yeah, quite an emotional funeral. But Clive Davis
- 10:45Speaker 2: was an inspiration, not only for his genius in the
- 10:48Speaker 2: music business.
- 10:48Speaker 13: But.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Here was a guy who was out every night, every night.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I don't care how two ninety three, ninety four. He
- 10:56Speaker 2: was out every night, dinner after dinner, after party after party.
- 11:01Speaker 2: He would do it all weekend. Every weekend. He had
- 11:03Speaker 2: forty fifty people at his house. He was I mean,
- 11:07Speaker 2: nobody lived life more than this guy. And somehow he
- 11:10Speaker 2: found plenty of time to work very hard, very dedicated.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I remember once going to his office at Arista. This
- 11:18Speaker 2: is years ago when people still use cassettes. And if
- 11:21Speaker 2: you were an unknown singer and nobody and you're trying
- 11:26Speaker 2: to get Clive Davis's attention, you'd send a cassette if
- 11:29Speaker 2: you're singing, your band whatever. And I remember in his
- 11:32Speaker 2: office against the wall stacks of cassettes up to the ceiling.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Must have been ten fifteen rows of them. Must have
- 11:39Speaker 2: been five thousand cassettes there. And those are all people
- 11:43Speaker 2: you know, wanted to Clive to sign them or listen.
- 11:46Speaker 2: So I remember sending them. You're not gonna listen to
- 11:49Speaker 2: all those? Are you? He said, I have to listen
- 11:52Speaker 2: to all those? The next Beatles could be in that stack.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I mean, you just dedicated, never ever ever stopped working,
- 11:59Speaker 2: so to get to today, the city Council and the
- 12:04Speaker 2: mayor have passed the budget. It is a ridiculous, ludicrous,
- 12:12Speaker 2: totally irrational, preposterous one hundred and twenty five billion dollar
- 12:16Speaker 2: budget for the City of New York. That's absolutely ridiculous.
- 12:20Speaker 2: It should probably be fifty billion. It's one hundred and
- 12:24Speaker 2: twenty five billion. That's more than the entire state of Florida,
- 12:29Speaker 2: which has three or four major cities, and also Florida
- 12:35Speaker 2: a much much, much lower budget, you get much better services.
- 12:39Speaker 2: This is the most out of control, ridiculous budget ever passed.
- 12:43Speaker 2: It doesn't contain any more money for police or expansion
- 12:46Speaker 2: of police, but it contains big raises for the mayor
- 12:52Speaker 2: and the city council. The mayor I mean big raises.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I mean not three percent, twenty percent, So the mayor
- 12:58Speaker 2: will now be making over three hundred thousand a year.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Absolutely ridiculous. The preposterous waste of money, waste of taxpayer
- 13:07Speaker 2: money going on. You know they talk about billionaires paying
- 13:11Speaker 2: their fair share, Let's talk about government collecting their fair share.
- 13:14Speaker 2: This is absolutely ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous, And you got this
- 13:22Speaker 2: crazy governor who will look the other way, afraid to
- 13:25Speaker 2: say anything. A lot of people want to run for
- 13:27Speaker 2: mayor against this guy now, including Dave Portnoy.
- 13:30Speaker 14: I would love to run against. If I was going
- 13:32Speaker 14: to run, it would be here. Can I win here?
- 13:34Speaker 14: I have no idea.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I don't know the.
- 13:35Speaker 14: Demographics, whether they get enough votes. There's a lot of
- 13:38Speaker 14: people who like me in New York City.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I know that I've done a lot of good.
- 13:43Speaker 14: In New York City. When I wasn't thinking about politics,
- 13:45Speaker 14: whether it's the barstool fund, pizza places, So it wasn't
- 13:48Speaker 14: for show.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I've had a real job.
- 13:50Speaker 14: I've done real things, unlike these clown politicians who have
- 13:53Speaker 14: never had a job and never been in the real
- 13:55Speaker 14: world for a day.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Yeah, they see. The problem is it's not a sales job.
- 13:59Speaker 2: It's it's a management job. It's not a TV performer job.
- 14:03Speaker 2: It's a management job. And we've had now three mayors
- 14:06Speaker 2: with absolutely no management experience. Mom Donnie's never had a
- 14:11Speaker 2: job of any kind before that. Eric Adams a nice guy,
- 14:16Speaker 2: but he'd never managed anything. He had been the Brooklyn
- 14:19Speaker 2: Borough president. But that the job has no power to it.
- 14:23Speaker 2: You're just basically running a chamber of commerce. There's no
- 14:26Speaker 2: management there. De Blasio before that was the public advocate. Again,
- 14:32Speaker 2: it's a no show job, no management experience. Before that,
- 14:36Speaker 2: you had Bloomberg who was managing multi billion dollar empires.
- 14:39Speaker 2: You need a manager to run New York. So I
- 14:43Speaker 2: love Portnoy, but there's a lot of other notables yelling
- 14:48Speaker 2: that they're going to run. But you got to have
- 14:50Speaker 2: management experience. You got to know how to run a
- 14:52Speaker 2: large organization. You got to know how to negotiate with
- 14:56Speaker 2: unions and contractors. And I mean, the first thing you
- 14:59Speaker 2: gotta do is get the spending down dramatically. The reason
- 15:03Speaker 2: the budget is so preposterous is the City of New
- 15:06Speaker 2: York overpays by ten thousand percent for everything, just completely
- 15:11Speaker 2: wasting tax payer money. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:18Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Get instant access to Mark by setting a freeset in
- 15:27Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app for his live show.
- 15:29Speaker 13: And his podcast.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on DOR.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh Chris
- 15:39Speaker 2: in Manhattan. Chris, how you doing.
- 15:41Speaker 15: I'm good.
- 15:42Speaker 16: Mark.
- 15:42Speaker 15: Congratulations on the award you're gonna win today. I mean,
- 15:45Speaker 15: I don't know you.
- 15:46Speaker 2: But let's get it that way. No thanks, I said,
- 15:50Speaker 2: you're a great listener. Barrett Media. That's the big media
- 15:54Speaker 2: conference that's having this all day to day. I'm getting
- 15:56Speaker 2: an award at the end of it, but it's everything.
- 15:58Speaker 15: Is there only one a year or other people get
- 16:01Speaker 15: awards too.
- 16:02Speaker 2: There's an award for best Programming Programmer, Best Business Sales,
- 16:07Speaker 2: and then one for your category.
- 16:10Speaker 15: You're it because you are the best. You're the most
- 16:12Speaker 15: trustable person I listen to. I never want to miss
- 16:15Speaker 15: one of your shows. I used to feel that way
- 16:17Speaker 15: about Rush, and now now I mean, I go out
- 16:20Speaker 15: of my way to make sure I hear your But Barrett,
- 16:22Speaker 15: bring you up is just true.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Barrett Media is the big bible of the radio industry.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Now you should see this room. It's every major talk
- 16:30Speaker 2: shows in American one room. Try to get a word
- 16:33Speaker 2: in edgeways with this credit. It's imply possible. But what
- 16:36Speaker 2: you want to ask? What do you want to say?
- 16:37Speaker 6: No, no, nothing.
- 16:38Speaker 15: I just want to congratulations. Really, it's it's well deserved.
- 16:41Speaker 15: You can bring a lot of joy to people.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Well, anyway, you're chief chief panic, and usually you're worried
- 16:46Speaker 2: about something.
- 16:48Speaker 15: All right, No, not today, It's okay. Anyway, again, congratulations,
- 16:52Speaker 15: thanks so much.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Thanks to take care. Let's go to Jill in Manhattan. Jill,
- 16:56Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 16:58Speaker 17: I'm doing okay?
- 16:59Speaker 16: Yeah, good.
- 17:01Speaker 17: So I just wanted to say something about Clive Davis. Yes,
- 17:04Speaker 17: I've worked for a music attorney for over thirty years,
- 17:08Speaker 17: and I still remember going to a showcase for an
- 17:12Speaker 17: unknown artist by the name of Gavin de Graus, uh huh,
- 17:15Speaker 17: and Clive was invited to that showcase. And I still remember,
- 17:19Speaker 17: and I've never experienced before or since, Clive Davis walking
- 17:23Speaker 17: into that club and you could have heard a pin drop.
- 17:28Speaker 17: He was so well respected by artists, by songwriters. And
- 17:34Speaker 17: I saw him again on Madison Avenue one day. It
- 17:36Speaker 17: was with my husband and I approached him, introduced myself
- 17:40Speaker 17: and he was so engaging.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Yeah, he was always a nice guy. He was nice
- 17:44Speaker 2: to everybody. He was a people person who loves to
- 17:46Speaker 2: do great.
- 17:46Speaker 18: Well.
- 17:47Speaker 17: You know, it's a big loss, it really really is.
- 17:49Speaker 17: But you know, he's left the world a wonderful legacy.
- 17:52Speaker 2: But again, he got to ninety four and he was
- 17:55Speaker 2: running around going out every night up until ninety four.
- 17:57Speaker 2: So that's a pretty incredible way.
- 18:00Speaker 17: That's what I want you to say.
- 18:01Speaker 2: All Right, thanks for calling. Let's go to uh Bob
- 18:06Speaker 2: and Cape Canaveral. Bob, how you doing?
- 18:09Speaker 13: I'm good?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Good? What are you doing in Cape Canaveral. You're an astronaut?
- 18:15Speaker 13: Sure?
- 18:15Speaker 18: Okay, only at night at a happy hour?
- 18:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, a genie? Are you making you question? Yes?
- 18:22Speaker 19: Why do you always cry about the hot weather?
- 18:25Speaker 2: Well, because I don't live in Florida. See, you people
- 18:27Speaker 2: have to deal with this every day. This is what
- 18:29Speaker 2: it's like for you forever, so you get used to it.
- 18:32Speaker 20: I lived in New York till I was fifty five,
- 18:35Speaker 20: I think, and it never seemed to get super hot.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yeah it did a little humid, No, it did. They
- 18:42Speaker 2: had heat waves like this back then.
- 18:44Speaker 19: I don't know.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I don't really. I hate to break it to you,
- 18:46Speaker 2: but you could. Actually was a Casey Stangle who said
- 18:49Speaker 2: you could look it up. You can look it up.
- 18:51Speaker 2: In fact, if you go back, you could watch old
- 18:54Speaker 2: TV shows from the fifties and sixties. You know, you
- 18:56Speaker 2: watch Naked City. There's an episode about the brutal heat
- 19:00Speaker 2: and what it caused in New York. Well, let's go
- 19:02Speaker 2: to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing, Hey?
- 19:06Speaker 18: Thanks Mark? You know you mentioned Dean Walker. I didn't
- 19:09Speaker 18: even know if she was alive. She's got to be
- 19:10Speaker 18: into a nineties by.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Now, right, Nah. I don't think she'said old Dion Warwick.
- 19:14Speaker 18: I would think I'd look it up, but well.
- 19:18Speaker 2: She was around with the Beatles. The beat she's eighty five.
- 19:23Speaker 19: Yeah, eighty five?
- 19:24Speaker 18: Okay, Well that makes sense. But you know, gas down.
- 19:27Speaker 18: Here is the three point thirty five yesterday today it's
- 19:30Speaker 18: three fifty nine. You know, the price of gas goes
- 19:33Speaker 18: up immediately when the price of oil goes up. Yet
- 19:36Speaker 18: the price of oil plummets in a matter of two weeks,
- 19:38Speaker 18: and it takes a month for the price to get
- 19:40Speaker 18: DOWNY of Trump should just go and finish a job.
- 19:42Speaker 18: Take over the straights, take all the oil, and get
- 19:45Speaker 18: this gas back down to two dollars two dollars and
- 19:47Speaker 18: fifty cents in this placeful home. But this is just
- 19:49Speaker 18: getting ridiculous that this price of gas just isn't coming
- 19:53Speaker 18: down as fast as it's really supposed to fast as
- 19:55Speaker 18: he says it is coming down.
- 19:56Speaker 2: That's why he's not threatening the oil companies. But don't worry,
- 19:58Speaker 2: he'll figure it out. Give them time.
- 20:00Speaker 18: He'll get You should have done that.
- 20:01Speaker 2: You know everybody tell you should have done that. You
- 20:04Speaker 2: should have done that, You should have done it. Don't worry.
- 20:06Speaker 2: He knows how to make things the best who ever was.
- 20:08Speaker 19: But come on, you know you can't have.
- 20:13Speaker 2: You had.
- 20:14Speaker 18: I'm not a panic and I've never been like that.
- 20:16Speaker 2: You had much more than that for years of Biden.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Don't worry, He'll figure it out. Thanks for calling. Let's
- 20:20Speaker 2: go to UH Vincent and Brooklyn Vincent. How you doing.
- 20:24Speaker 21: Good morning, Mark, good morning, Congratulations on the Barrett Wood market.
- 20:30Speaker 21: Have a great time at the ceremony. Mark. There is
- 20:33Speaker 21: a way around this UH seemingly setback about the postage,
- 20:40Speaker 21: the postmark on the on the votes UH on election day.
- 20:45Speaker 21: Since the presidential election the federally a federal election, and
- 20:52Speaker 21: since the post Office is a federal agency, just Trump
- 20:57Speaker 21: what they should put it into law, have the Postmaster
- 21:01Speaker 21: General of the United States director Postmaster's General of each
- 21:06Speaker 21: individual state to say, any ballot that comes in with
- 21:11Speaker 21: a postmark after this election day, just put them on
- 21:16Speaker 21: the side, because this way they can't be counted in
- 21:21Speaker 21: with the acceptable votes, the votes that have the right
- 21:25Speaker 21: date on them. And also they got that's where all
- 21:28Speaker 21: the checking has to be done because in these sleazy
- 21:31Speaker 21: democratic states. Now, if I was Gavin Newsom, let's say
- 21:35Speaker 21: what I would do is I'd mail out the ballot,
- 21:39Speaker 21: but I would put two mailers in there, so one
- 21:44Speaker 21: if they sent it out before the midnight of election day,
- 21:50Speaker 21: and one with no posts with nothing on it. So
- 21:55Speaker 21: this way the crooks in the Democratic States could put
- 21:58Speaker 21: their own war to mok on it. But the way
- 22:01Speaker 21: to get around it is stopping at the federal level.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well, hopefully we will one day, Vincent. We got
- 22:06Speaker 2: to go do the news, but great call. Hey, when
- 22:08Speaker 2: we come back, Michael Goodwin will be with us. We'll
- 22:11Speaker 2: talk to him next on seven to ten.
- 22:13Speaker 13: W O R.
- 22:15Speaker 6: Mister Mark Simone, well with us right now.
- 22:22Speaker 2: The greatest columnist in America, Michael Goodwin the New York Post.
- 22:26Speaker 2: You can read his column every Sunday and every Wednesday,
- 22:29Speaker 2: and all the columns are up on the New York
- 22:31Speaker 2: Post website if you want to go read them. Michael Goodwin,
- 22:34Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 22:35Speaker 13: Good morning, Mark? Thank you?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Hey. Oh I loved your calm the other day about
- 22:39Speaker 2: Kathy Hochel.
- 22:40Speaker 22: Uh.
- 22:40Speaker 2: You know she's pandering to the mom Donnie Crawd, But
- 22:43Speaker 2: you're right, she's never gonna win them over, never gonna
- 22:45Speaker 2: satisfy them, is she?
- 22:48Speaker 3: No?
- 22:48Speaker 10: Me? You there's this Uh, this is not a menu
- 22:53Speaker 10: where you select the things where you agree with them.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Mom.
- 22:56Speaker 13: Yeah, you either agree with him or you don't.
- 22:59Speaker 10: It's a hundred percent, and thankfully she doesn't one hundred
- 23:03Speaker 10: percent agree with him, But that's why compare it to
- 23:08Speaker 10: feeding the alligators. You know, you give them a little
- 23:12Speaker 10: bit and pretty soon you're on the venue. And that's
- 23:16Speaker 10: what's happened to her. She thought she could get away,
- 23:20Speaker 10: which is since throwing them a few scraps, a couple
- 23:22Speaker 10: of billion dollars of state money.
- 23:25Speaker 13: But of course that's not enough.
- 23:28Speaker 10: They want everything, and that includes higher taxes and corporations
- 23:34Speaker 10: and individuals and all kinds of other things. So she
- 23:38Speaker 10: you know, also this issue of Israel, which is the
- 23:42Speaker 10: main driving force of these new socialists, and you have
- 23:47Speaker 10: to hate Israel, you have to hate Menton Yahu to
- 23:51Speaker 10: be a real socialist these days. I thankfully I don't
- 23:55Speaker 10: think Hoco qualifies on those counts. But she's done a
- 24:00Speaker 10: lot of damage already.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so how bad is obviously Mam Donnie's just terrible
- 24:07Speaker 2: at this, But how bad is it going to be?
- 24:08Speaker 2: It's been six months already and it's not that bad.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I mean, he makes things a little worse, but he
- 24:14Speaker 2: hasn't done too much damage in six months. What do
- 24:17Speaker 2: you think will happen the next year or two?
- 24:19Speaker 10: Well, I think some of these things take a while
- 24:23Speaker 10: before they the evidence becomes clear.
- 24:26Speaker 13: For example, this a rent freeze.
- 24:30Speaker 10: If it's allowed to stand, I think what you're going
- 24:33Speaker 10: to see are increasing dilapidation of you know, sort of
- 24:39Speaker 10: marginal rental buildings. You're going to see more vacancies because
- 24:45Speaker 10: one of the things that's already happening, Mark is that
- 24:48Speaker 10: the city under before Mam Donnie clamped down on how
- 24:53Speaker 10: much you could raise the rent. It's you renovated and
- 24:59Speaker 10: empty apart And I've spoken the landlords who are sitting
- 25:05Speaker 10: on empty apartments because they say they cannot afford to
- 25:10Speaker 10: renovate it because the rent laws do not allow them
- 25:14Speaker 10: to recoup the money. And what happens is, let's say
- 25:18Speaker 10: you have a tenant who's there for a very long
- 25:21Speaker 10: time twenty thirty years even not unusual, and that tenant
- 25:26Speaker 10: moves or dies, then you have to upgrade the entire apartment,
- 25:31Speaker 10: probably need new kitchen equipment, bath, all pay jobs. All
- 25:39Speaker 10: these things cost a lot of money. Forty fifty thousand
- 25:43Speaker 10: dollars to do a total rehab. Well, if it's going
- 25:46Speaker 10: to take you fifteen years to recoup that money, you're
- 25:50Speaker 10: not going to do it because you'll be losing money constantly.
- 25:55Speaker 10: So that's what's happening kind of quietly across the city.
- 26:00Speaker 10: So when you pile on top of that red freezes
- 26:05Speaker 10: for years, then you're going to create more of those
- 26:08Speaker 10: situations where you have vacant departments that nobody can live
- 26:13Speaker 10: in because nobody can afford upgrade them.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, so first it's Mom Downey. Then you last
- 26:20Speaker 2: week we had a whole bunch of crazy socialists get elected,
- 26:23Speaker 2: and people studying that vote real carefully say, even though
- 26:26Speaker 2: the campaigned on affordability, the real reason they won two things.
- 26:30Speaker 2: It's deep anti semitism with these young voters, and also
- 26:34Speaker 2: they want to stop Trump and they think the old politicians,
- 26:38Speaker 2: the shumers that Jeffreys, don't know how to stop Trump.
- 26:40Speaker 2: So that's why they're voting these crazies. And is that
- 26:43Speaker 2: really what it is?
- 26:45Speaker 10: Well, I think Trump is obviously, you know, target number one,
- 26:50Speaker 10: but I think it's also the more centrist oriented or
- 26:56Speaker 10: center left democrats. I mean, most of them are not
- 27:02Speaker 10: notoriously crazy like the socialists, and so they stand in
- 27:07Speaker 10: the way of the socialists. So you know, as I said,
- 27:11Speaker 10: in these districts there were the socialists one the democratic primaries.
- 27:17Speaker 13: There are no Republicans.
- 27:19Speaker 10: There it's really a battle of the left versus the
- 27:23Speaker 10: far left, and the fire left is a winning because
- 27:26Speaker 10: the lefts is not radical enough for these new young
- 27:31Speaker 10: voters in these districts. And I think the Democratic Party
- 27:36Speaker 10: really at this point has more to worry about than
- 27:39Speaker 10: the Republican Party.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Yeah, but do they really they got these young, crazy voters.
- 27:44Speaker 2: They're all going to have kids and raise young crazy
- 27:47Speaker 2: voters for another general. Yeah, well, do they really have
- 27:52Speaker 2: to worry? They seem to be big enough in numbers
- 27:55Speaker 2: to be winning elections.
- 27:57Speaker 10: Well, the turnout it's very very low, so iing eight, ten,
- 28:03Speaker 10: twelve percent.
- 28:05Speaker 13: So that's what.
- 28:06Speaker 10: Happens when you get an organized group, even though it's
- 28:11Speaker 10: small and it's really super organized, it can turn out, identify,
- 28:17Speaker 10: and turn out its voters. Whereas the sbats of the
- 28:22Speaker 10: world don't do anything right. They sit there, they're elected
- 28:27Speaker 10: year after year after year because they have no Republican opponents,
- 28:32Speaker 10: so they can go to Washington and go to sleep
- 28:36Speaker 10: and just vote with the party and they really can
- 28:39Speaker 10: end up the party is happy with them, so there
- 28:42Speaker 10: are no challenges within the party. But now you had
- 28:46Speaker 10: these far leftists. They're really not even Democrats, they're Socialists,
- 28:51Speaker 10: and they're running in the primaries and most of the
- 28:55Speaker 10: time they're winning because the other half of the electorate
- 29:01Speaker 10: is asleep. They have not seen this threat, and now
- 29:05Speaker 10: suddenly they wake up and their new congressman or a
- 29:09Speaker 10: woman is a socialist who doesn't gethere to any of
- 29:14Speaker 10: the the uh, the ideas of and that's the out
- 29:20Speaker 10: or someone like that. It's what AOC did a few
- 29:23Speaker 10: years ago.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Queen's Yeah, so hey, Michael Goodwin, Bruce Blakeman, we really
- 29:28Speaker 2: need him to win. He's a little behind right now,
- 29:30Speaker 2: but he always comes from behind. If he wins, when
- 29:33Speaker 2: we hope he does. Is that the beginning and the
- 29:35Speaker 2: end of all this crap with the Socialists.
- 29:38Speaker 10: Well, that would be an earthquake politically, it would. It
- 29:42Speaker 10: would really, I think, wake up both the Democrats and
- 29:47Speaker 10: of course the Socialists. It will be a political earthquake
- 29:52Speaker 10: because such as we haven't seen, you know, Mark, as
- 29:55Speaker 10: you and I discussed, I'm a little concern that I
- 30:00Speaker 10: don't hear more from Blakeman. I don't see more about him.
- 30:05Speaker 10: I think he's running.
- 30:07Speaker 13: Out of time.
- 30:08Speaker 10: The latest polls have him down by twenty and there's
- 30:12Speaker 10: still a lot of people who so they say they
- 30:15Speaker 10: don't know enough about him.
- 30:18Speaker 13: It's getting like to fix that.
- 30:20Speaker 10: That should not be an issue at this point in
- 30:23Speaker 10: the campaign.
- 30:25Speaker 13: He's ever got to make more noise.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Well, but the guy is flying all over the state.
- 30:29Speaker 2: You look at his schedule. He's running around everywhere. He's
- 30:31Speaker 2: on every TV show that will have him. His social
- 30:34Speaker 2: media is very good. What more can he do? I mean,
- 30:37Speaker 2: but also in the real polls that he's only down
- 30:40Speaker 2: eight percent.
- 30:40Speaker 13: But yeah, look, I think what more can he do?
- 30:45Speaker 13: I think.
- 30:47Speaker 10: The generic answer to the candidates.
- 30:51Speaker 13: Who have to come from behind, you have to make
- 30:55Speaker 13: more noise.
- 30:56Speaker 10: You have to have ideas that can catch fire, and
- 31:03Speaker 10: you have to be relentless in being on the attack.
- 31:07Speaker 10: I mean, you have to go, you know, sportster the
- 31:11Speaker 10: negative against the incumbent, and you have to do it
- 31:15Speaker 10: every day, every occasion. It has to be something that
- 31:20Speaker 10: you get local attention and therefore you.
- 31:24Speaker 13: Get the media's attention. Now look into in New York,
- 31:28Speaker 13: the media is going to be for.
- 31:29Speaker 10: Hope by and large because they're all Democrats. Nonetheless, I
- 31:35Speaker 10: think the key to a kind of revolutionary campaign is
- 31:40Speaker 10: you've got to make a lot of noise. You have
- 31:42Speaker 10: to get you have to grant the attention so the
- 31:45Speaker 10: people that can understand what your ideas are and what
- 31:50Speaker 10: would change under appointment governorship.
- 31:54Speaker 2: But again check out as social media. He does do that,
- 31:56Speaker 2: but you're right, the media just doesn't cover it. They
- 31:59Speaker 2: ignore it.
- 32:00Speaker 10: Yes, Yeah, that's a big that's a big problem. So
- 32:03Speaker 10: you know, look, he's not the first Scandiday to face
- 32:06Speaker 10: that problem. Yeah, he's just gonna have to find a
- 32:09Speaker 10: way to solve it.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Yeah, all right. Well, Michael Goodwin brilliant as always, will
- 32:12Speaker 2: be looking for your column tomorrow in the New York
- 32:15Speaker 2: Post and you can go read all his columns. They're
- 32:17Speaker 2: up on the New York Post website. Michael Goodwin, thanks
- 32:20Speaker 2: for being with.
- 32:21Speaker 13: Us always surprise Mark, thanks you take care.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Uh Hey, coming up at noon today, Buck Sexton, Clay Travis.
- 32:28Speaker 2: They always do a great show at noon. Then you
- 32:29Speaker 2: got the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity.
- 32:33Speaker 2: At three, you got Jesse Kelly at six, you got
- 32:35Speaker 2: the very funny Jimmy Faile. It's quite a lineup every
- 32:39Speaker 2: day right here on seven ten WR.
- 32:43Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show on sevent ten.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Woor Hey, it's gonna be hot and humid today, but
- 32:49Speaker 2: this is not the heat wave. It's not gonna be
- 32:52Speaker 2: till Wednesday, Thursday Friday. It's gonna get brutal. Now remember
- 32:57Speaker 2: it's a gridlock alertday because of that FIFA nonsense. So
- 33:00Speaker 2: it's going to be a traffic mess in Manhattan. We'll
- 33:03Speaker 2: be back right after the news. Another hour to go
- 33:05Speaker 2: on seven to ten WR.
- 33:08Speaker 1: On sevent ten WR. It's more of the marks Emosha.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Well, it's a hot day to day, but this is
- 33:17Speaker 2: nothing compared to what you're going to feel the rest
- 33:19Speaker 2: of the week. It's going to be dangerously hot for Wednesday, Thursday,
- 33:23Speaker 2: Friday into Saturday. It'll hit one hundred degrees real field
- 33:26Speaker 2: could hit one hundred and nine and something like that.
- 33:29Speaker 2: So it's just going to be a little better on Saturday,
- 33:32Speaker 2: will be ninety five, but thunder showers on Saturday. Hopefully
- 33:35Speaker 2: this forecast changes, which it can. It can change in
- 33:38Speaker 2: the next day or two. So a lot of Supreme
- 33:41Speaker 2: Court there rulings are happening left and right here. President
- 33:46Speaker 2: Trump want to end birthright citizenship. Supreme Court rejected that bid,
- 33:51Speaker 2: so the birthright citizenship stands, which doesn't make a lot
- 33:55Speaker 2: of sense to a lot of people. Other big ruling
- 34:00Speaker 2: is the Supreme Court ruled that states can ban transgender
- 34:07Speaker 2: athletes from participating in women's sports. That's pretty common sense,
- 34:11Speaker 2: simple logical. Obviously, you don't want a big, hulking guy
- 34:14Speaker 2: playing against women. So the Supreme Court has ruled any
- 34:18Speaker 2: state can ban transgender athletes. President Trump was trying to
- 34:23Speaker 2: get the Egen Carol find the mountain. He had a
- 34:28Speaker 2: pair thrown out that was rejected, so he owes her
- 34:32Speaker 2: five million dollars. She will never live to collect the money.
- 34:37Speaker 2: You'll see. It was a strange case, the Egen Carrol case,
- 34:41Speaker 2: because it was based on what a lot of people
- 34:44Speaker 2: thought was just a ridiculous lie. She claimed that she
- 34:49Speaker 2: was in Burgdorf Goodman. He happened to be there. This
- 34:51Speaker 2: is the women's store, not the men's store. He followed
- 34:54Speaker 2: her into the dressing room that the attacked her and
- 34:56Speaker 2: assaulted her. And nobody's buying this. The story that she
- 34:59Speaker 2: told was exactly the same story as a Law and
- 35:03Speaker 2: Order episode, even Bergdorf Goodnor. I mean, it just would
- 35:09Speaker 2: look to any normal person like she obviously saw this
- 35:13Speaker 2: Law and Order episode and stole the plot because it's
- 35:15Speaker 2: exactly the same. The billionaire rezillionaire tech guy who was
- 35:20Speaker 2: the Dreid Hoffman, financed her case. She got in front
- 35:24Speaker 2: of a New York jury that hates Donald Trump and
- 35:27Speaker 2: a New York judge that hates Donald Trump. That's how
- 35:30Speaker 2: she got the She couldn't win a criminal conviction, but
- 35:32Speaker 2: civil standards are much much lower. She won the civil case,
- 35:36Speaker 2: but again vicious Trump hating jury, and she was asking
- 35:40Speaker 2: for twenty four million dollars in judgment. The jury hated
- 35:45Speaker 2: Trump so much that they up it to eighty eight
- 35:47Speaker 2: million dollars. Nobody has ever seen that ever happen, where
- 35:52Speaker 2: whatever they were asking for, the jury, you know, tripled
- 35:54Speaker 2: it quadrupled that. This is unheard of. So it was
- 35:56Speaker 2: a ridiculous case. It was more a case of here
- 35:59Speaker 2: of the Supreme cour just didn't want to get involved
- 36:01Speaker 2: in it. They also ruled that Trump can fire the
- 36:04Speaker 2: heads of agencies and departments, which again simple common sense,
- 36:09Speaker 2: and of course the left going nuts, the MSNBC crowd
- 36:13Speaker 2: going nuts that now Trump will be a king, Now
- 36:16Speaker 2: he'll be You could always do this, you know, they
- 36:20Speaker 2: create these fantasies in their head that the Justice Department
- 36:24Speaker 2: is must remain independent. It's supposed to be totally independent. No,
- 36:27Speaker 2: it's not. That was never the case. The Fed must
- 36:30Speaker 2: be totally independent. That was never the case. Donald Trump
- 36:35Speaker 2: is the Justice Department, He's the chief law enforcement officer.
- 36:39Speaker 2: He can direct the Justice Department as we're supposed to do.
- 36:41Speaker 2: He can direct the State Department, that's what he's supposed
- 36:44Speaker 2: to do. He can direct the Secretary of Defense, he
- 36:47Speaker 2: can direct the Treasury Secretary. That's his job. These guys
- 36:51Speaker 2: all work for him. They're the cabinet. He can direct them,
- 36:55Speaker 2: including the Department of Justice. So Supreme Court upholding his
- 36:58Speaker 2: right to fire and high in those you know, agency heads.
- 37:05Speaker 2: That's basically the most of the Supreme Court ruling. This weekend.
- 37:10Speaker 2: You know, it's fourth of July. Although the weather's going
- 37:13Speaker 2: to really screw up people's plans. But in Washington, d C.
- 37:16Speaker 2: It's even hotter. It'll be like one hundred and ten
- 37:19Speaker 2: degrees in DC. But in DC they're supposed to have
- 37:22Speaker 2: the America two fifty enormous, enormous celebrations. But I don't know.
- 37:27Speaker 2: With this weather, a lot of people are going to
- 37:28Speaker 2: be standing outside in this weather. That could affect things.
- 37:32Speaker 2: President Trump is warning that security is going to be very,
- 37:35Speaker 2: very very intense around these America two fifties celebrations, especially
- 37:40Speaker 2: around landmarks and monuments in Washington, d C. So that's
- 37:46Speaker 2: good to know. You're going to hear a lot of
- 37:48Speaker 2: flack about Trump sons, about Howard Lutnik, about Steve Whitcoff.
- 37:56Speaker 2: You know, they're making all kinds of deals all over
- 37:58Speaker 2: the world, big deals now in all these different countries,
- 38:04Speaker 2: and you're going to see them accuse the Trump's sons
- 38:07Speaker 2: and Lutnik and others of profiting off these deals. They're
- 38:10Speaker 2: good deals for America, but at the same time these
- 38:14Speaker 2: guys could profit. For instance, they closed the deal for
- 38:16Speaker 2: an American company Trump and Lutnick caz Resources to mine
- 38:21Speaker 2: one of the world's biggest reserves of tungsten. Records indicate
- 38:26Speaker 2: that firms tied to their sons financial will gain from
- 38:30Speaker 2: the contract. The New York Times reported it's another one,
- 38:34Speaker 2: Dominary Securities, which is actually has their offices in Trump Tower,
- 38:39Speaker 2: partly owned by Donald Trump Junior and Eric Trump, has
- 38:42Speaker 2: joined other investors to take a twenty percent stake in
- 38:46Speaker 2: a company related to the project. At the same time,
- 38:50Speaker 2: Lutnex company Canter Fitzgerald has an investment controlled by his sons,
- 38:55Speaker 2: Brandon and Kyle. You got those are like typical modern
- 38:59Speaker 2: day up pretside names, Brandon and Kyle. Brandon and Kyle
- 39:03Speaker 2: Lutnik helped one of the investors with the raising the
- 39:07Speaker 2: two hundred and ten million. So they're all tangled up
- 39:09Speaker 2: in these deals. But it sounds bad. Even the New
- 39:13Speaker 2: York Post going after them for this said his hunter
- 39:18Speaker 2: Biden's style sleeves is just as slimy when the Trump
- 39:22Speaker 2: boys do it. According to the New York Post, Democrats
- 39:25Speaker 2: in Congress are pressing for an investigation into these Trump's
- 39:28Speaker 2: sweetheart deals. Now, the New York Post has a good
- 39:32Speaker 2: point here. If they win the House in the mid terms,
- 39:36Speaker 2: they're definitely going to have these hearings, and these Trump kids,
- 39:40Speaker 2: these Lutnik kids, are going to find themselves testifying around
- 39:44Speaker 2: the clock under oath. So the New York Posts saying
- 39:47Speaker 2: it would behoove the Trump administration and the whole nation
- 39:51Speaker 2: if the President would get ahead of this act, transparently
- 39:54Speaker 2: clean up the whole mess before its swamps his final
- 39:58Speaker 2: two years in office and finds his legacy. Well, that's
- 40:02Speaker 2: a good point. Now, it's not the same as Hunter Biden.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Hunter Biden was a crack addict with no job, no career, nothing,
- 40:12Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden, his father becomes vice president.
- 40:15Speaker 2: He's on the board of oil companies, he's on the
- 40:17Speaker 2: board of an energy company. He's getting millions from China
- 40:21Speaker 2: for his hedge fund. This guy never had a job.
- 40:24Speaker 2: The difference here is Donald Trump junior Eric Trump were
- 40:29Speaker 2: always doing this kind of stuff. They were massive businessmen
- 40:33Speaker 2: before Trump became president. Jared Kushner, for instance, was worth
- 40:37Speaker 2: a billion dollars by the time he was thirty. He
- 40:40Speaker 2: was a major real estate mogul in New York. He
- 40:43Speaker 2: was involved in all kinds of other businesses. The same
- 40:46Speaker 2: thing with Lutnick and his kids. Lutnick ran Canter Fitzgerald.
- 40:50Speaker 2: He's a major hedgehunt So these guys before Trump got present,
- 40:54Speaker 2: before all of this, were tangled up in multi multimillion
- 40:58Speaker 2: dollar deals making Now that doesn't mean this is not
- 41:02Speaker 2: profiteering off Trump as president, but it's not a dramatic
- 41:07Speaker 2: Shit's not like Hunter Biden never had a job and
- 41:09Speaker 2: suddenly he's making millions on the board of an oil
- 41:11Speaker 2: company or an energy company. So it's just more of
- 41:15Speaker 2: the same and these you know Don Junior, Eric Trump,
- 41:18Speaker 2: and I'm sure the Lutna kids. All these guys are
- 41:21Speaker 2: wit coffee. This is the way they always were.
- 41:23Speaker 15: You know.
- 41:23Speaker 2: You throw them anywhere into any place, any situation, and
- 41:27Speaker 2: they're making money. They know how to make money off
- 41:29Speaker 2: anything and everything. They just do this all the time.
- 41:31Speaker 2: But the Post has a point. If Democrats take the
- 41:35Speaker 2: House in the midterms, Boy, are you going to see
- 41:37Speaker 2: hearings on this. Hey, it's a gridlock alerte today because
- 41:42Speaker 2: of the FIFA stuff. Forty second Street will be closed.
- 41:46Speaker 2: I think thirty fourth Street will be closed. I mean,
- 41:48Speaker 2: it's going to cause a traffic nightmare in most of Manhattan.
- 41:53Speaker 2: So that's today. Now here's the other thing you're going
- 41:57Speaker 2: to see a little bit of the same thing. Could
- 42:00Speaker 2: be Thursday Friday. There's the Taylor Swift Travis Kelcey wedding
- 42:05Speaker 2: at Madison Square Garden. It looks like it's going to
- 42:08Speaker 2: be a three day event. Could be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- 42:12Speaker 2: They're going to have a rehearsal dinner. This is in
- 42:14Speaker 2: Madison Square Garden for one hundred people. They're gonna have
- 42:17Speaker 2: the wedding. Then they're gonna have a party the next
- 42:19Speaker 2: day for like two thousand people. So you know, you're
- 42:23Speaker 2: not supposed to know about this, although they're leaking it
- 42:25Speaker 2: out left and right, but it's pretty obvious if you're
- 42:28Speaker 2: around Madison Square Garden. People are seeing vendors setting up
- 42:32Speaker 2: for the event, like a lighting company, there's a piping
- 42:36Speaker 2: and draping business, there's a transportation service company. They're all
- 42:40Speaker 2: over the garden, some of them with unmarked trucks. Staffers
- 42:44Speaker 2: have been seen unloading large, large boxes all wrapped up
- 42:48Speaker 2: covered with tarps. Big semi trailers are unloading stuff at
- 42:53Speaker 2: Madison Square Garden. Forklifts were seen moving massive trunks, big
- 43:00Speaker 2: trunks filled with unknown inventory. Trunks is usually lighting equipment,
- 43:03Speaker 2: sound equipment, all that kind of stuff. There was a
- 43:09Speaker 2: massive box unloaded that actually you could The Post took
- 43:13Speaker 2: a picture and zoomed in on the label. It said
- 43:16Speaker 2: forty inch mirror ball is being brought in. Other vendors
- 43:22Speaker 2: very very covert, trying to stay you know, secret about
- 43:26Speaker 2: everything they're doing, concealing business names, logos and phone numbers
- 43:30Speaker 2: with tape. Also spotted the being unloaded. Dozens of spotlights, chairs,
- 43:37Speaker 2: concert staging, no parking, signs are going up Oliver Madison
- 43:41Speaker 2: Square Garden. So this is a this is going to
- 43:46Speaker 2: be a mess for three days. It's going to tie
- 43:48Speaker 2: up a lot of crazy traffic and make things crazy
- 43:52Speaker 2: here in New York. Let's see. So I mean I
- 43:57Speaker 2: mentioned that. Let me just check again. Gas prices down
- 44:00Speaker 2: a little today. Gases down to about seventy dollars, which
- 44:04Speaker 2: is pretty much pre Iran War was sixty eight sixty nine,
- 44:07Speaker 2: the President demanding that the gasoline retailers lower the prices immediately.
- 44:14Speaker 2: When the cost of oil a bare of oil goes down,
- 44:17Speaker 2: it takes a while for that to translate into lower
- 44:20Speaker 2: prices at the pumps. But the President yelling at them,
- 44:23Speaker 2: even Scott Bessent getting into the act, saying, we're watching you.
- 44:26Speaker 2: You better, you better get this done pretty fast. So
- 44:31Speaker 2: you'll probably see it start to happen pretty quick. National
- 44:35Speaker 2: average is about three eighty. It could it could really
- 44:39Speaker 2: go to two fifty. It's going to take a while.
- 44:42Speaker 2: They'll have to get there slowly, but they will get
- 44:45Speaker 2: there pretty soon. So hey, you know Sacks Fifth Avenue,
- 44:49Speaker 2: it was in bankruptcy, these big, big retailers, the big
- 44:53Speaker 2: you know Sacks. You know they merged with Neven Marcus.
- 44:57Speaker 2: That didn't go so well. Then they went into bankruptcy.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Coming out of bankruptcy and they decided to go much
- 45:04Speaker 2: higher end, like real luxury. They're getting rid of those
- 45:08Speaker 2: lesser priced ones that they got Saxon fifth. They've emerged
- 45:12Speaker 2: from bankruptcy, but they got rid of a lot of locations.
- 45:15Speaker 2: They'll focus on just luxury retail. They closed most of
- 45:19Speaker 2: their off price locations, totally restructured. They think they're all
- 45:23Speaker 2: set and they'll do better. Hey, you know, over at
- 45:26Speaker 2: that crazy MSNBC or MS now or whatever the hell
- 45:29Speaker 2: they call it, they got rid of the longest running
- 45:32Speaker 2: anchor at the network. Believe it or not. See if
- 45:36Speaker 2: you can guess who it is now, it's a weekend anchor.
- 45:39Speaker 2: It's Alex Wit, you know, with the blonde hair. Very
- 45:43Speaker 2: nice looking woman, very nice woman. I've been on with
- 45:45Speaker 2: her a million times, really nice woman. Alex Witt is
- 45:48Speaker 2: the longest running host at MS now. It's almost about
- 45:53Speaker 2: thirty years that she's been there. Thirty years now, why
- 45:56Speaker 2: are they getting rid of? Everybody loves her and she's great.
- 46:00Speaker 2: She's the weekend host. The reason they're getting rid of
- 46:02Speaker 2: her they're not going to do weekends alive much anymore.
- 46:07Speaker 2: You know, they're not making any money. It's the ratings
- 46:10Speaker 2: are disastrous. The whole network, it's not making a lot
- 46:13Speaker 2: of money. So they're going to go with, you know,
- 46:17Speaker 2: just run old programming on the weekends. They've formed a
- 46:21Speaker 2: partnership with something called Crooked Media. That's some crazy progressive
- 46:25Speaker 2: media company. So the weekend lineup, Crooked Media will provide
- 46:30Speaker 2: a lot of it. It's going to be podcasts, taped
- 46:32Speaker 2: programs outside the programs. In other words, they'll just run
- 46:37Speaker 2: podcasts and old stuff and save money. Now, a lot
- 46:41Speaker 2: of places do that, you know, a lot of radio
- 46:46Speaker 2: stations on the weekend they run infomercials and different kinds
- 46:50Speaker 2: of paid program It's not unusual, but it didn't happen
- 46:53Speaker 2: before at MSNBC. And this is obviously big, big, big
- 46:58Speaker 2: cost cutting going on there. Hey, you know that crazy
- 47:02Speaker 2: James Carville yelling and screaming at the Democrats stand up
- 47:07Speaker 2: to these socialists. You know a lot of Democrats start
- 47:09Speaker 2: to realize they lost their party. They don't have a
- 47:11Speaker 2: Democratic party anymore. Socialists are going to take it over,
- 47:15Speaker 2: which means that's it for the old Democrats. Hey, Bill
- 47:18Speaker 2: Maher lashing out at Democrats, pointing out, you know, I
- 47:22Speaker 2: didn't really know all this, but he's starting to point
- 47:25Speaker 2: out these Democrats refused to come on his show. He said,
- 47:28Speaker 2: He've been trying to get Mom Donnie, been trying to
- 47:31Speaker 2: get Kamala Harris, and they're afraid they won't come on.
- 47:35Speaker 2: AOC won't come on. And he's standing up to all
- 47:39Speaker 2: of this, gonna He's gonna make it a regular crusade
- 47:43Speaker 2: to get them on the show, but they're afraid they
- 47:46Speaker 2: won't do it. Pretty interesting that they just don't have
- 47:49Speaker 2: the nerve, you know. And Bill Maher is not going
- 47:51Speaker 2: to be that hostile to him, but he's gonna ask
- 47:53Speaker 2: real questions. Mom Donnie doesn't want to answer real questions,
- 47:57Speaker 2: Kamala doesn't want to answer real questions, and certainly not AOC. Hey,
- 48:01Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three two one
- 48:05Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 48:08Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 48:10Speaker 1: They'll Mark Zimonco live from the WR lifeback studios.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Mike and
- 48:22Speaker 2: Saint James. Mike, how you.
- 48:24Speaker 7: Doing, Oh Mark, thank you? I have an idea to
- 48:28Speaker 7: sort of remove well, Mam Dami from office in the city.
- 48:35Speaker 2: All right, let's hear it in November.
- 48:38Speaker 7: When we have the election. I saw on the end
- 48:41Speaker 7: of that the governor has the power to remove him
- 48:43Speaker 7: from office. Yes, if he could get into his campaign
- 48:47Speaker 7: speeches a platform that he's going to remove the mayor
- 48:51Speaker 7: on the grounds that he can bankrupt the city due
- 48:54Speaker 7: to his policy, well you.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Can, you can. A governor can remove the mayor for
- 48:57Speaker 2: thirty days, then it goes to a hearing. He'd probably win.
- 49:01Speaker 2: The mayor would probably win the hearing because you'd have
- 49:03Speaker 2: to have grounds to remove him.
- 49:05Speaker 7: Well, his policy used to get a bankrupt the city.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't do it on policies though, you got
- 49:09Speaker 2: to prove some kind of malfeasance in office. But good,
- 49:12Speaker 2: good thinking though. Let's go to Ted and Paramus. Ted,
- 49:15Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 49:18Speaker 22: Yeah, let's see what.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Race yelling today, Harry Callers, go ahead.
- 49:27Speaker 22: Okay, we're going to talk about the difference in the
- 49:29Speaker 22: dealings between the Ukraine on the part of the Bidens
- 49:34Speaker 22: and very much the the deep state operators like that
- 49:38Speaker 22: sleazy Fiona Hill.
- 49:41Speaker 16: Yeah, in Ukraine with all these businesses, but.
- 49:46Speaker 2: So what's the problem.
- 49:49Speaker 16: In Ukraine with the business dealings of the Bidens and
- 49:53Speaker 16: the Democrats. They were peddling the thought of Ukraine joining NATO.
- 50:00Speaker 16: Uh huh, which is a very cool and dangerous thing
- 50:03Speaker 16: to do. There is no talk of Kazakhstan joining NATO,
- 50:08Speaker 16: and that's the real big difference.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Is it just me? Or are you guys following this?
- 50:13Speaker 2: Is it just me? All right? Well, that's You've made
- 50:18Speaker 2: a great point. I don't know what it is, but
- 50:19Speaker 2: thanks for colling. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 50:23Speaker 2: how you doing mourning?
- 50:25Speaker 13: Mark?
- 50:26Speaker 20: Yes, Mike, I meant to ask you this on the
- 50:28Speaker 20: first day of summer when you were still playing records and.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Now, for those your kids out there, what the hell's
- 50:36Speaker 2: a record? It means music, that's right.
- 50:40Speaker 20: I really dated myself at least I didn't say seventy eight. So,
- 50:46Speaker 20: but when you were still on you know, playing records
- 50:48Speaker 20: and was on the first day of summer, would they
- 50:50Speaker 20: come and tell you, oh, you have to play a
- 50:52Speaker 20: theme from a summer place and you have to play
- 50:54Speaker 20: summer when it was I know, these seeing things would
- 50:57Speaker 20: a little bit more.
- 50:58Speaker 2: I was in the DJ back in those days. If
- 51:01Speaker 2: for us when it was the first day of summer,
- 51:02Speaker 2: what do we play? We'd play, like, what's that great
- 51:05Speaker 2: song Summertime by war remember that right?
- 51:08Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 51:09Speaker 20: And summer Summer in the City by the Love and Spoonful.
- 51:12Speaker 2: And uh, yeah you play that.
- 51:15Speaker 20: Philly Stewart had a great version of Summertime that was
- 51:19Speaker 20: who did That's Billy Stewart?
- 51:22Speaker 2: Oh all right, I'm just what he's.
- 51:24Speaker 13: He was famous.
- 51:26Speaker 20: You would remember you you heard it, you recall it.
- 51:30Speaker 20: But so you didn't have any uh you know, so
- 51:33Speaker 20: summer Wind and things like that warrant on the docket
- 51:35Speaker 20: for you, and and you didn't.
- 51:39Speaker 2: You know, to be honest, we weren't that lame. I
- 51:41Speaker 2: mean we weren't that basically, Oh it's raining, play a
- 51:43Speaker 2: rain song. You basically said that was.
- 51:47Speaker 20: Yeah, that was more time for sure. You know, that
- 51:49Speaker 20: would be definitely like Jonathan Schwartz.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Would do that.
- 51:52Speaker 20: You know, you play your theme from the summer place
- 51:54Speaker 20: and the summer wind and then summer in the city.
- 51:56Speaker 2: So you don't really know Jonathan Schwort the first day
- 51:59Speaker 2: of summer, he would play winter songs, that's what he
- 52:01Speaker 2: would do. Wow. True, you remember a Super Bowl Sunday
- 52:04Speaker 2: he'd devote the whole show to baseball, but he.
- 52:08Speaker 20: Would get you would manage the mixed Sinatra and Santana
- 52:11Speaker 20: and you know the Parcy faced in the set.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Well, what the topic. Jonathan Schwartz a radio genius, one
- 52:19Speaker 2: of the greatest evers.
- 52:20Speaker 20: Yeah, spent many, many, many a day listening to him.
- 52:24Speaker 2: I listened him all the time. I got to fill
- 52:26Speaker 2: in for him a lot, which is a great honor,
- 52:28Speaker 2: and do a lot of shows with him. But he
- 52:30Speaker 2: was a genius. All right, thanks for Colling. Let's go
- 52:33Speaker 2: to Joe and Elmwood Park. Joe, how you doing?
- 52:36Speaker 23: Good morning, Mark. I'm glad Mike brought the music up.
- 52:40Speaker 23: John Swart's excellent. Uh can I say, Alicia Keys, you
- 52:45Speaker 23: are no Joni Mitchell, You're not even a Carly Simon.
- 52:48Speaker 23: I don't know where they got that from.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Alicia Keys is very good, she's good.
- 52:54Speaker 23: But you know Joni Mitchell, come on, well.
- 52:56Speaker 2: Even Joni Mitchell. Know Joni Mitchell? Have you seen her later?
- 52:58Speaker 22: No more?
- 52:59Speaker 2: No?
- 53:00Speaker 16: All right?
- 53:01Speaker 23: And Schwartz is one of the best. And Dan Ingram
- 53:04Speaker 23: and you too.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Dan Ingram, Jonathan Schwartz to U, two guys, I copied
- 53:09Speaker 2: more than anybody idolized he was. I miss him. Okay,
- 53:13Speaker 2: all right, thanks for calling. Let's go to uh John
- 53:15Speaker 2: and Queen's John. How you doing?
- 53:18Speaker 19: Good morning, Mark. I just wanted to quick tell you
- 53:21Speaker 19: a quick a tribute maybe two of the actor that
- 53:25Speaker 19: passed away a few weeks ago. James Handy. James James Handy.
- 53:31Speaker 19: You're not familiar with him. He was in Aractophobia. He's
- 53:34Speaker 19: in n y t TZ Blue.
- 53:36Speaker 13: Is a commander.
- 53:36Speaker 2: He's a verdict with Steve Whue. Yeah, pardon, who do
- 53:41Speaker 2: you play in NYPD Blue?
- 53:43Speaker 16: He was the commander.
- 53:44Speaker 19: I don't think he wore a uniform.
- 53:46Speaker 2: No, I mean I've watched every episode. I still watch
- 53:49Speaker 2: NYPD Blue. I don't know who he is. You do?
- 53:52Speaker 16: You do know him?
- 53:53Speaker 7: Like I said?
- 53:53Speaker 2: He was.
- 53:53Speaker 19: He was in a verdict with the pul Newman, that big,
- 53:55Speaker 19: big movie. Anyway, The reason why I'm calling is that
- 53:58Speaker 19: it's a good Fourth of July story. If we go
- 54:01Speaker 19: over the news that he was murdered brutally unfortunately in
- 54:03Speaker 19: California a few weeks ago. But the big thing is
- 54:06Speaker 19: that his film. He was really upset that no one
- 54:09Speaker 19: mentioned that he was a combat vetterm in Vietnam.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Was that on our site? Of course?
- 54:15Speaker 16: Oh?
- 54:15Speaker 2: Good, okay, good, Well, we want to pay tribute to
- 54:18Speaker 2: James Handy. Great. I'm gonna look it up the series eight.
- 54:21Speaker 2: When we come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us next.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Let's talk to him about coming up next on seven
- 54:26Speaker 2: to ten wo R.
- 54:29Speaker 3: It's more Mark Simone on sevent ten wuo R.
- 54:36Speaker 6: Well.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, of course, the number one TV anchor for decades,
- 54:39Speaker 2: the number one best selling non fiction author on Earth.

- 54:57Speaker 2: There's a link to everything there. Hell O'Riley, how you.
- 55:00Speaker 6: Doing, working hard as usual?
- 55:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 55:06Speaker 6: Jaking it?
- 55:07Speaker 2: Yeah? That podcast your latest, Will Do It Live. Gene
- 55:12Speaker 2: Simmons is a guest. He's a brilliant guy, isn't he.
- 55:15Speaker 6: Yeah. It was very interesting to talk to him, particularly
- 55:18Speaker 6: about his mother, who survived the concentration camp in Germany
- 55:23Speaker 6: and how he was shaped by her upbringing. And in
- 55:29Speaker 6: my new book confronting America. What has to change. Parental
- 55:35Speaker 6: authority take center stage. We have so many bad parents
- 55:40Speaker 6: in this country. Parents who abandoned their children, neglect their children,
- 55:47Speaker 6: have crazy points of view, take drugs in front of
- 55:50Speaker 6: their children, and get drunk. That I thought Simmons really
- 55:56Speaker 6: hit it. He said I never took drugs or drank
- 56:00Speaker 6: to excess because I didn't want to break my mother's heart.
- 56:05Speaker 6: I thought that was one of the most profound statements
- 56:08Speaker 6: I've ever heard from an interview subject of mine. And
- 56:12Speaker 6: he was clean the whole time. That he was a
- 56:15Speaker 6: big rock star for Kiss. So it's insights like that
- 56:19Speaker 6: we try to give everybody every week. We got Glenn
- 56:22Speaker 6: Beck coming up on Thursday, and Beck, as you know,
- 56:26Speaker 6: is a very interesting guy to me because you never
- 56:30Speaker 6: know where he's going to come down. And we talk
- 56:33Speaker 6: about the communism thing, which I believe is a big threat.
- 56:38Speaker 6: Some people dissent from that, but I think that this
- 56:43Speaker 6: thing could catch fire, this communist thing. Really yeah. I
- 56:50Speaker 6: mean when you have a population, and again it goes
- 56:54Speaker 6: back to parenting, where you expect to be given the
- 56:59Speaker 6: keys to the kingdom of life and then you don't
- 57:02Speaker 6: get anybody given it to you, then you want that?
- 57:08Speaker 6: Where's mine? I mean, how come the government's not give
- 57:10Speaker 6: me a house? How come to have babysitting my kids?
- 57:15Speaker 20: You know?
- 57:15Speaker 6: How come I don't have free health care? And that
- 57:19Speaker 6: thing I think can grow and it always turns into
- 57:24Speaker 6: detalitarian and some always and I'm keeping my eye on it.
- 57:31Speaker 6: I just think that this came very quickly into New
- 57:35Speaker 6: York City and other places, and it will wreck the
- 57:40Speaker 6: social order that we have.
- 57:41Speaker 2: So all these voters doing this is the result of
- 57:44Speaker 2: bad parenting, bad teachers, bad professors for a couple of generations.
- 57:49Speaker 6: Yeah. I mean, if you were a kid and your
- 57:52Speaker 6: parents give you everything and you don't have to work
- 57:56Speaker 6: for anything, I'm sure that you work. When you were
- 57:59Speaker 6: a kid. I started working on it's ten years old.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Ten years old, I was cutting lawns, shoveling snow, doing whoever.
- 58:07Speaker 6: I could make a book. Okay, And now kids, you
- 58:13Speaker 6: never see them. There's snows, nobody's out there with a shovel.
- 58:17Speaker 6: All the migrants are doing the gardening work. Nobody's cutting
- 58:21Speaker 6: any lawns. And so when the kids in my town,
- 58:25Speaker 6: they all have deba carts, they just running in getting
- 58:28Speaker 6: whatever they want. They don't care how much it costs.
- 58:32Speaker 6: And then they get out of a real world where
- 58:35Speaker 6: daddy and Mommy aren't there anymore, and they go, wait, wait, wait,
- 58:39Speaker 6: what do you mean I have to work hard, I
- 58:41Speaker 6: have to get up at seven in the morning. I'm
- 58:43Speaker 6: I don't want to do that. So give me, ma'am, dommy,
- 58:47Speaker 6: give me, give me what I want. Get me a house,
- 58:50Speaker 6: all right, give me food. Food is next to New York.
- 58:54Speaker 6: By the way, you'll slap so many regulations on grocery stores.
- 59:01Speaker 6: The City Council of New York. He tried to make
- 59:03Speaker 6: it impossible for them to operate, so that the city
- 59:07Speaker 6: control the flood of food that comes into you. And
- 59:11Speaker 6: they have million people. This is called cooperating the essentials
- 59:19Speaker 6: of life, you know, housing, food, everything. Okay, they want
- 59:24Speaker 6: to take it over, and that's what communemy is.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Now you're the best selling historian. Have we ever gone
- 59:32Speaker 2: through any period like this ever in American history?
- 59:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 59:36Speaker 6: A couple of times. And it's interesting you asked that
- 59:39Speaker 6: question because in the Revolutionary War, when we were fighting
- 59:42Speaker 6: the King of England, George, half the college didn't want
- 59:47Speaker 6: to didn't want to fight.
- 59:50Speaker 15: They didn't want to do it.
- 59:51Speaker 6: Really they wanted to stay under this totalitarian king told
- 59:56Speaker 6: them what to do and how to do it, and
- 59:58Speaker 6: that was it. Half of them, half of the people
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: that lived in North America did not want to fight
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: the British. And then in the Civil War you had
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: the state seceding. You know, we're not giving up slavery.
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: You don't look at what you do. We don't want
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: to be Americans anymore, will be you know, South Americans
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: or whatever. They will be plantation Americans. And so it's
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: happened before, not to the extent it's happening now because
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: you have the media driving thiss, enabling this. I mean,
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: Caitlin Collins on Seeing any Other Night said there's a
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: difference between communism and socialism. Hey lady, no, that's not okay,
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: And you want to debate me all day, law and
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: be happy to sit down on the Mark Simone show
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: and debate you about that. There is no difference. If
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: you are going to limit people's potential, if you are
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: going to tell them what they are going to do,
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: how they are going to live, you can slap a
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: socialist word on it or a communist word. Trump addressed yesterday.
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: He said, ah, they call himself democratic socialists because it
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: sounds good. That's exactly right. These are communists. They want
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: to control the means of production. That's what Mandami wants,
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: and he will try everything to make New York City
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: into that kind of a place.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: So if the media had not gone totally corrupt ten
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: years ago when Trump showed up, if they were honestly
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: covering all these crazy democrats, we wouldn't be going through
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: this now, would we.
- 1:01:39Speaker 21: No.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: And social media is to blame as well, But the
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: corporate media because they hated Trump so much because of
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: his demeanor primarily, but he is a conservative guy in
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: the sense that he puts forth, I don't want anybody's
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: sneaking across the board in our country. That's a conservative position.
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: Now the liberals say, let everybody in, everybody should come in, okay. So,
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: because the media hates Trump so much, they let his
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: opposition have a free ride, and to this day that happens.
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: And then they figured out they can make money making
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: and that happen. Although CNN is felled in that regard,
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: but the liberal networks and the liberal news presentation, they
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: make some money. Sixty minutes makes money, not what it
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: used to be but it makes money. And then on
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: the other side, Fox makes a lot of money by
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: talking to conservative Americans exclusively. Okay, that's what they do.
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: And so the media, which was once mandetty to find
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: out the truth and to tell the American people this
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: is really what's happening, does not do that anymore.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's been about ten years now. That's kind
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: of baked in now. The meat is never going to.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: Be Yeah, And the only saving grace to music cleiche
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: is that operations like mine, which are totally independent I
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: have prospered. So I was just looking this morning at
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: our balance sheet about our revenue on YouTube. But it's
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: amazing so that people who understand that they're being conned
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: on television in particular, newspapers are gone, but they understand,
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: you know, David Muir is not telling me the truth.
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: I'm not getting the truth from Newsmax or whatever it is.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: I'm just getting their point of view. They come over
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: to me and they bring advertising dollars, and they bring
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: a whole bunch of other things that make me successful.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: I've been doing this almost ten years now as an
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: independent broker of the news, and that's the first time
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: in history that has ever happened.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Well, Bill O'Reilly great stuff. Now, make sure you follow

- 1:05:08Speaker 6: be fair and you'll get it. And it's a totally
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: different book than but all my books are kind of different,
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: but this one is basically on my experience covering the
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: news for more than fifty years. I can't believe it.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well, every book's a big best seller. Everybody go

- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Let me check the late this weather. It'll be near
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: ninety today. It'll be a hot day. Now, Tomorrow goes
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: to ninety five. Wednesdays tomorrow ninety five. The big problem
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: days are Thursday and Friday, where it'll be one hundred
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: degrees and re'll feel one hundred and nine. I mean
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: that's an extreme heat wave. So that's Thursday and Friday.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Saturday it drops to ninety five. That'll feel like summer relief.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Now the good news, well, this good news. But Saturday
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: it looks like a heavy thunderstorm in the afternoon. But
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: once you get that heavy thunderstorm, that should cool things off.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: But it's gonna be a brutal a few days this week.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: It's gonna screw up a lot of outdoor plans. Hey.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: The other thing is, you got that FIFA World Cup
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: going on tonight, so all over that Manhattan thirty fourth
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: forty second, it's gonna be all kinds of street closing.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: It will be absolute the traffic nightmare. Don't even try
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: to drive anywhere around that area. I'll be back tomorrow
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: ten to noon. I hope you'll be here too. I'll
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: see you then on seven ten Woor
