- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I told you, every office they got a ding dong.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: And this one came in from I won't even mention your name.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: I'll just give the I'll give the last two of your uh you normally we'd identify with the last four or your number.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: This is from 54.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: We'll leave it there.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: We have about two uh or three supervisors that will text uh let's say about 345 in the morning, but then they won't answer a single one during the middle of the day.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: What?
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: You won't answer it while you're working and that's what you're supposed to be doing?
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: And we'll circle back to that.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, circle back to that.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, I'll circle back to that.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: Let's come back to that.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: All right, how now I mean listen, I saw it coming a while ago.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, stop it.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: Well, it's not you thought it was a bad thing.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: I don't necessarily think it's all that bad.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: I think we all evolve eventually into realizing, hmm, you know, my parents, they weren't really that crazy wrong.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: And uh now I'm starting to pick up certain things.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Oh no, I think Gil's soap, like she's really set me up for what could be a terrible situation, but I'm not sure if it's a terrible situation or if it's great because she raised me to be extremely independent, but that tends to lean a little selfish too.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: And here's what happened.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: I love how independence gets confused with selfish.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: And this is where I'm not sure.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: You this is where you gotta tell me, am I being very independent or am I being a little selfish?
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Now, my boyfriend does not live with me, but he will come over maybe a couple times during the week and we will have dinner.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Like last night he came over, helped me with some yard work, and then we were gonna have dinner.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: But I went to I love it when you go to Wegmans and they got those those tin pans with the pre-prepped things.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, the meals that are never big enough for me?
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: I'm glad you said that.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: I'm glad you said that because my favorite, they have this little salmon one with tomatoes and capers, and I buy one because I know I like it and I'm gonna eat it in the next day or two, right?
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: He comes over and then wish you had another because there was never enough in the one tin pan.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Well, he comes over, and I don't know if he's eating with me or not, that never got established.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: So then I'm like, Well, I'm gonna eat the salmon.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: And so I think he got excited, and then he looks, and like you say it's like the size of a thumb.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and he's like, Oh, okay.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: Um I guess I'll eat some hot dogs.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: And there's this part of me that's like, yeah, bro, eat a hot dog.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Because you do it, eat a dog.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because first of all, I'm not here to make you a new meal every single night.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: And and secondly, I don't have a secondly.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: I just I'm not a short order cook.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: And I didn't like I didn't know, so I didn't buy him one.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: And then I'm like, You're not you in your situation, not wrong at all.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: If the two of you live together, oh, I gotta buy him a salmon too.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, you sound bitter.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: No, it's not that I'm bitter.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: But I'm just gonna get it, they're small portions.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Stop trying to force me into a diet, Wagmans.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Cut me a piece of fish, will you?
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: I just don't like making a new meal every single day.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: It's not my thing, which is why I let Danny do it for me.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, I don't know if that's like I am selfish, super independent.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: No, you know, my mom would be like, I'm not a short order cook.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: It's not, yeah.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Well, your mom's got the abrasive response to what really is happening, but it settles in your brain.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: See, here's the thing.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: No, in your situation, you live alone.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: He happened to be over.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: You were, you know, you could have, you could have.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Well, first of all, were you already starting to cook the salmon before he came over?
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: No.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Okay, so now it's becoming a little selfish.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: But they're still.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: You could have been in the oven and he showed up.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Hey! And then you're like, oh crap, I've only got a thumb size slice of salmon.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: I got a whole bag of hot dogs from Memorial Day.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so eat those up.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: I'm eating salmon, he's eating hot dogs.
