Transcript
- 0:09From the media missionaries of Network 7, welcome
- 0:11to Mission Sunlight Chat. It is a Sabbath afternoon
- 0:15as we record this in 2025 at the ASI, North American
- 0:19Division International Convention Exhibit Hall.
- 0:22And as you look around the exhibit hall right
- 0:24now, you see folks are sharing in what God is
- 0:27doing in the marketplace where he has placed
- 0:30them. One of those ministries is Golden Trumpet.
- 0:34Servio Cordoba, the director, the president of
- 0:36Golden Trumpet, and you are joining us now to
- 0:40kind of share with us a bit about the lay ministry
- 0:42that God has put on your heart. You know, one
- 0:45of our taglines here with Mission Sunlight Chat
- 0:47is the stories behind mission and ministry. And
- 0:51the reason why we didn't say the stories behind
- 0:53ministry is because sometimes when we think of
- 0:56ministry, we think of the full -time employed
- 0:58workers of the church. But the reality is ministry
- 1:02takes place in the mission field and in the hearts
- 1:05of lay people as well. And so we felt like mission
- 1:08also encapsulated the mission of the everyday
- 1:12people. And you're one of those, one of those
- 1:14everyday folks who has found a way to reach out
- 1:17and share Christ with others, share the Word
- 1:19of God, which is, of course, the Word of Christ
- 1:21with others. I want to know more about that.
- 1:25But first, Servio, would you have a word of prayer?
- 1:28Amen. Yeah, we can pray. Heavenly Father. You
- 1:31are a good Father. You give us Christ, and we
- 1:33pray for your guidance and understanding as we
- 1:36talk about your ministry, Father. In the name
- 1:38of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Servio, if you
- 1:41will, before we get started about the ministry,
- 1:44tell me about who you are. Where did you grow
- 1:46up, and where did you connect with Christ? I
- 1:49grew up Seventh -day Adventist, actually. I'm
- 1:51actually a third -generation Seventh -day Adventist
- 1:53from Columbia, South America. Not South Carolina.
- 1:58Not South Carolina, but yeah, I'm a third -generation
- 2:00Seventh -day Adventist. My grandmother was an
- 2:03Adventist. My mom was an Adventist. I grew up
- 2:05in the church, and I moved to Canada, so now
- 2:10I live in Canada. That's a long way from Columbia.
- 2:14It is. God brought me to Canada. It's a long
- 2:17experience. So you can't blame God on bringing
- 2:19you to Canada without explaining that. How did
- 2:22you end up there? Well, I like traveling, and
- 2:25I like meeting new cultures. And coming to Canada
- 2:28was that opportunity for me. And I came first.
- 2:31It was going to be... temporary and but yeah
- 2:35i ended up staying there and marrying there so
- 2:37now i have two children beautiful children canadian
- 2:40wife canadian wife yes okay yeah didn't meet
- 2:43a colombian in in uh in canada no not that i
- 2:47married but no now canada is divided into two
- 2:50parts the way i think of it the french -speaking
- 2:51side and the english -speaking side so the english
- 2:53-speaking side my wife is from the french -speaking
- 2:57side But she's English. Okay. She's English,
- 3:01yes. So does she speak French and English? She
- 3:03speaks French, yes. And then you're a Spanish
- 3:05speaker, obviously, and English. Yes. Have you
- 3:08learned some French? Unfortunately, no. I do
- 3:11want to learn French. Has she learned some Spanish?
- 3:13Oh, she speaks fluent Spanish. Okay. So she can
- 3:15run circles around you, and then when she's mad,
- 3:17she can say things in French. It's interesting.
- 3:21She speaks French, and now she's forgetting French.
- 3:24She's speaking Spanish when she thinks she's
- 3:26speaking French. She's getting confused about
- 3:28French. Yeah, crossover. You know, I've known
- 3:30folks with five, six, seven languages under their
- 3:32belt. I don't know how they keep them all separate.
- 3:34Yes, it's an art. But if they're very close,
- 3:38it's hard. Like French and Spanish, they're close,
- 3:41so you may get confused. Now, you mentioned grandmother
- 3:43and mom when you shared about your family. Dad
- 3:45involved? My dad is involved, yes. Just that
- 3:49my dad, he was very respectful. Even though he
- 3:53was not Adventist at first, he was a Catholic
- 3:54man, he supported my mom 100%. So the morale
- 3:59that we grew up under my mom's influence. But
- 4:02now just maybe some years ago, my father finally
- 4:05gave his life to Christ and became an Adventist.
- 4:09Now he's preaching. Praise the Lord. Now he's
- 4:10preaching. Praise the Lord. He's not any conversion.
- 4:12He's a good speaker. He also preaches. So now
- 4:15he's preaching. He's a preacher now. Amen. And
- 4:19siblings? I have a sister, yes. A sister? She's
- 4:23my sister, an older sister. Is she preaching
- 4:25too? She is a full -time missionary. Now, she
- 4:28has a full -time medical missionary ministry
- 4:31in Colombia and Ecuador. And, yeah, so she's
- 4:35a full -time missionary. So you have a family
- 4:39full of people sharing the gospel. Yes. Amen.
- 4:42It's been ingrained by our mother. She's the
- 4:45one. All right, so you didn't really explain
- 4:48why you went from Colombia to Canada other than
- 4:51just like to travel. That was the reason, yes.
- 4:54I had friends in Canada, and I came as a skill
- 5:00worker. I'm a psychologist. That's my background.
- 5:02Okay, so are you doing psychology in Canada now?
- 5:05I'm doing organizational psychology, yes. I work
- 5:08with companies, and I... I help them develop
- 5:11their training programs. Okay. Yeah. So there's
- 5:14an administrative and training package that goes
- 5:17with that. So I have developed the skills to
- 5:20create online training programs. So I can create
- 5:24content. Yeah, very good. Like an online training
- 5:27program, I can do that. I've done it for different
- 5:30companies. Very good. So you've really taken
- 5:34your psychology to another level where you're
- 5:36sharing it and doing training, corporate experiences.
- 5:40So do you have a chance to share your faith when
- 5:42you're in the workplace like that? In Canada,
- 5:45it's not easy. It's not like the U .S. Okay.
- 5:48Canada is a different environment. But I'll say
- 5:51that people know that I'm Christian. Everyone
- 5:53knows. I mean, they can see. So that would be
- 5:56the influence. But you cannot openly talk about
- 5:59God in the workplace. Really? Yeah. Anybody ever
- 6:03talk to you outside and say, hey, I want to know
- 6:05more about what makes you tick? Oh, yes. Oh,
- 6:08yes, of course. But it can be at work. You know,
- 6:10I think I'd have a hard time in that setting
- 6:13just because naturally I go, praise the Lord.
- 6:15And even, you know, Jordan and I will be talking
- 6:18with somebody in the secular field. We'll pick
- 6:20up a piece of equipment or whatever. And, you
- 6:22know, something works out and went smoothly.
- 6:24And I'll just, you know, outburst, praise the
- 6:25Lord. And I think I wonder what they think I'm.
- 6:28I don't know what they think of that. No, that's
- 6:29not very common in Canada. I'll say that. That's
- 6:31not. Give it a shot, Servio. See what happens.
- 6:35I think I have very clear what the reaction will
- 6:40be. Well, you don't let the Holy Spirit lead
- 6:43you. Yes. You never know. But there is a ministry
- 6:46in Canada. So my ministry has been... studying
- 6:52the Book of Revelation and Prophecy in churches.
- 6:54So not only in my church, but also in different
- 6:58churches when they invite me to go there. Well,
- 7:00we're going to talk about specifically what Golden
- 7:03Trumpet does in just a moment. But thanks for
- 7:05sharing your story. Oh, I did want to ask you,
- 7:07you have children. I have children, yes. I have
- 7:09two beautiful girls. One is nine and the other
- 7:11one is six. Very good. Another one in the future
- 7:15or you're finished? Well... We were praying about
- 7:19it. Okay. Yeah. See what the Lord leads. Yes.
- 7:23My late wife and I had three daughters. Jordan
- 7:27has three daughters. We're definitely proponents
- 7:30for three daughters. Just so you know. Just a
- 7:31little tip there. Servio, thanks for sharing
- 7:35your story. Look forward to hearing more about
- 7:37Golden Trumpet in our next segment. For our listeners
- 7:39and viewers, thank you for being a part of the
- 7:41program as well. We're at the ASI North American
- 7:43Division 2025 Orlando, Florida convention in
- 7:46the exhibit hall. And we are glad to be hearing
- 7:49from various ministries around the globe what's
- 7:52happening there. And we're glad that we're able
- 7:54to share those stories, some of those stories
- 7:56anyway, with you. Thanks for joining us. We are
- 7:58going to be back in a moment with more Mission
- 8:00Sunlight Chat. Being a media missionary can mean
- 8:12many different things. It means the love of a
- 8:15home at the heart of the planet. The intrepid
- 8:18spirit of a village and the vibe of a great metropolis.
- 8:21It means camera one and camera two. It means
- 8:26transforming a school, orphanage, or hospital.
- 8:30It means fire, rain, ice, and snow. It means
- 8:34gifts by the dollar and by the check. It means
- 8:38donations that roll and donations that fly. It's
- 8:44a movement on a trail or down a motorway. It
- 8:48means family. All of us together. And individually.
- 8:54It's who you are or who you are becoming. And
- 8:58to her, it's a simple gesture that means hope.
- 9:02Whatever it means to you, being a media missionary.
- 9:06means more than you might think. Welcome back
- 9:17to Mission Sunlight Chat. We are in the exhibit
- 9:19hall for ASI in the North American Division in
- 9:222025 and ministries and people involved in ministry,
- 9:28people interested in learning more. are talking
- 9:30back and forth and around from booth to booth
- 9:33to hear how God is working. Some of those exhibits,
- 9:37Servio, are with very formal institutions, some
- 9:40of them with lay -operated institutions like
- 9:43Mission Sunlight Chat, Network 7, others, the
- 9:47big ones, Hope Channel, Adventist World Radio
- 9:50here beside us. It is written, Weimar University,
- 9:53LNG White Estate, just I'm looking around at
- 9:55the ones that pop out near us. There are a number
- 9:58of ministries that have been around for a long
- 10:02time and then others maybe not so much. Network
- 10:057 just celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2025
- 10:08here this summer. You are with Golden Trumpet.
- 10:12How long have you been doing this particular
- 10:14personal ministry? So this will be my 8th anniversary.
- 10:20Okay. 8 years. Yes. And tell me what you've been
- 10:23doing in those 8 years. So the idea came from...
- 10:27me going to places, and especially going to a
- 10:30church, and after having my prophecy seminar,
- 10:35it was about the book of Revelation. So the problem
- 10:38was that, the problem is that if you want to
- 10:40study it, is that you need a reference. So the
- 10:42Bible says there's a beast, and then there's
- 10:44another beast, and they look like that. So if
- 10:46you just read it, it's hard to keep the image,
- 10:49right? So you need a guideline. So there are
- 10:51some images online, but I was studying it verse
- 10:54by verse. And there is no material verse by verse.
- 10:59So I made my stick characters to help me, to
- 11:03help the audience to understand it. And at the
- 11:06end of the seminar, one day, everyone flocked
- 11:10to the front to take pictures of my stick characters.
- 11:14And at that moment, it's like the light started.
- 11:18So I said, there is an interest. And I said...
- 11:21I said, Lord, they need the images because it
- 11:26will help them understand. But then I said, okay,
- 11:29how much would one illustration at this level
- 11:32will cost, a realistic illustration? And then
- 11:35I went to an illustrator and asked him, and he
- 11:38told me how much one would cost. And then I said,
- 11:42it's impossible. I knew there would be 200, almost
- 11:48300. illustrations to make so the cost of the
- 11:51project would be it would be overwhelming so
- 11:55i thought it's not possible at first at first
- 11:58i thought it was not possible how can i can i
- 12:01do that anyway so long story short got open doors
- 12:04that needed to be open and i was able to begin
- 12:08the project and start making the illustrations
- 12:11one by one. And it took five years. It took five
- 12:15years to make it on my spare time at the beginning
- 12:18of the morning or the end of the day. And then
- 12:21the book was ready. We have the website. We got
- 12:25the prints of the book. And then COVID came when
- 12:29we were going to lounge. And it was hard. I mean,
- 12:33we're waiting for so long. We had to wait for
- 12:38two years. And then after the two years, so I
- 12:40came back to take over the marketing side of
- 12:44the book. And that's what I'm doing here. All
- 12:48right. So I want to know what that book is. Now,
- 12:50the ministry is called Golden Trumpet. So, yeah,
- 12:53it's coming from 1 Corinthians 13. Okay. It says
- 12:56the sound of the trumpet has to be clear because
- 12:59how people are going to understand if the sound
- 13:02is not clear. So from the very concept of...
- 13:06the ministry wanted to share the word of god
- 13:08but pure pure the word of god just the bible
- 13:12and um the the project of the book of revelation
- 13:15is just letting people know the word of god the
- 13:19book of revelation so do you mind if i hold it
- 13:22sure jordan if we can get a shot of this mysteries
- 13:25illustrated is the book the book of revelation
- 13:28verse by verse so jordan i'm going to hold this
- 13:30down here and i just want to flip through it
- 13:32i'm going to trust you're able to get a shot
- 13:35I'm going to just let me know when you're good
- 13:38for me to kind of start going through it. Are
- 13:40we okay? All right. So opening up, we have a
- 13:43table of contents. I'm not going to flip through
- 13:45every page, but I just want people to see a little
- 13:48bit of the beginning here. Of course, there's
- 13:53John. So, yeah, every verse is illustrated. Describe
- 13:56what we're seeing here. So this is the first
- 13:58two verses. So every verse is illustrated. Okay.
- 14:01And the Alpha Omega. Alpha Omega. And then it
- 14:05says, I was in the island of Patmos. Yeah, so
- 14:09it's chapter verse 1 and 9. And then we have
- 14:12the churches. Then you just went to the churches.
- 14:14If you go, you just carry on. And then, yeah,
- 14:17you have the Church of Laodicea there. Then you
- 14:21have the trumpets. Okay. Now, is this the three
- 14:26angels? No, that's the trumpets. Okay, okay,
- 14:30not there yet. What happens in every trumpet.
- 14:33Yeah, every verse is illustrated. Revelation
- 14:3611, 19, when the sanctuary, the most holy place
- 14:42is open. Okay. Revelation 13, everyone's talking
- 14:47about this. This is now, you came to the key
- 14:49passage because everyone's talking about the
- 14:52mark of the beast. But to understand the mark
- 14:54of the beast, you need to know this image. Right?
- 14:57So when the image of the beast is made and when
- 15:00he kills. So every verse is here. Here is the
- 15:05throne of God. The three angels message. There
- 15:07we go. That's the one I was looking for. Jordan,
- 15:09are we able to show all three angels there? Okay.
- 15:12The next one has the three angels all together.
- 15:14The next one has, because it's the first one
- 15:16alone, then the second one. Now we have the three
- 15:19angels message. There you go. Okay, so just in
- 15:21case there's somebody who isn't familiar with
- 15:23the three angels messages, why am I excited about
- 15:25Revelation 14 here? Tell me. Well, it is in the
- 15:28Bible. It is the definition of the gospel. Amen.
- 15:33There's many, many verses that the word gospel
- 15:35is mentioned. But the passage in the Bible that
- 15:39explains the gospel, it's explained in this chapter.
- 15:42It's amazing. So the book of Revelation is a
- 15:44treasure because it explains the core of the
- 15:47Christian purpose and mission. Amen. All right.
- 15:53Continuing. 144 ,000. 144 ,000. This is Revelation
- 16:0116, 19. This is Revelation 19. Okay. You want
- 16:07to hear, very soon we're going to see the New
- 16:10Jerusalem. That's the one that people recognize.
- 16:13Christ coming with his angels. That is the final
- 16:16Revelation 19. And then you have here, oh, you're
- 16:21going to, the New Jerusalem, the cube. There
- 16:23you go. The New Jerusalem. And then it comes
- 16:27back to the earth at the end of the millennium.
- 16:28Then God resurrects the wicked. And then Satan
- 16:32encouraged them to attack the city. And I think
- 16:35it's important to point out these are an individual
- 16:39rendering of what it might look like. You're
- 16:43not trying to say this is an absolute. This is
- 16:47the only way we can interpret Scripture. This
- 16:49is just one interpretation of the description
- 16:52to give our mind's eye a visual. You know, it
- 16:55says, correct me if I have the wrong passage.
- 16:58I think it's 1 Corinthians. Is that? Chapter
- 17:0310, Chapter 9. Eye hasn't seen nor ear heard
- 17:07the things in which God has prepared. So we can
- 17:10imagine those things, but we certainly can't
- 17:12imagine them to the fullest the way that God
- 17:14would have done. Yeah, we'll have to have an
- 17:16inspiration from God. But the elements that are
- 17:19mentioned in the text, all of them are included
- 17:21in each image. Amen. All the elements are included.
- 17:25These last pages bring excitement to us as we
- 17:30think about what is coming. The New Jerusalem.
- 17:33On the next page, look, there you find the New
- 17:37Jerusalem, the doors. All our purpose is about
- 17:40to get through those doors. The greatest purpose
- 17:42that you may have, going through those doors,
- 17:44being some of those that will go and will be
- 17:47welcome to the New Jerusalem. I'm looking at
- 17:48this upside down. I think we're seeing the tree
- 17:50of life. Yes. Okay. Twelve fruits, one for every
- 17:54month? Yes, correct. I'm certain those twelve
- 17:56fruits are going to be varieties of mango. That's
- 17:58all we need. Mango has to be one of them for
- 18:01sure. Thank you so much for sharing this book.
- 18:04Back in the Back, Discover the Mystery. You know,
- 18:06Revelation doesn't have to be a mystery in this
- 18:08kind of book. This helps illustrate it in such
- 18:11a way that we can understand. even better. You've
- 18:14done this verse by verse. I think folks need
- 18:16to understand that as they look at this. It's
- 18:17verse by verse. So the verses are here, verses
- 18:20are here. You can even read this to children.
- 18:22Yes, you can have the chapter and the verse.
- 18:26It's in the bottom on the page. And there's an
- 18:28index so you can find, at the end, you can find
- 18:31the actual reference and you can find the page
- 18:33where the verse is. So it's very much an illustrated
- 18:38Bible. Yes, correct. Very, very special. We're
- 18:41living in a very visual society. I don't know.
- 18:44Everything is about making an interaction with
- 18:46videos. All the messages are coming with a visual.
- 18:50So God left this book with visuals to understand
- 18:54his word. So if you have a book like this, and
- 18:57it's eight years coming, are we going to have
- 19:02to wait eight years for another one? No, we're
- 19:05not. We are working in other projects like the
- 19:08Book of Daniel. Okay. Yes, the Book of Daniel.
- 19:10To make the Book of Daniel the same quality,
- 19:13the same style. For someone unfamiliar with Scripture,
- 19:15Revelation is a New Testament book. Daniel is
- 19:19its... complement in the Old Testament. We often
- 19:23will say the books Daniel and Revelation tell
- 19:26us because they complement each other. There
- 19:28are references toward prophecy from one to the
- 19:31other. Correct. So it's a good match because
- 19:33many of the images that appear here are related
- 19:36to what Daniel saw. So we will be able to understand
- 19:39more about the book of Revelation. They help
- 19:41each other. How soon do you think you might see
- 19:44Daniel? We're working to the next year. So maybe
- 19:51by this time when we're together next year? Maybe,
- 19:53what is it, maybe by the end of next year. Okay.
- 19:56So we might have to wait a couple of ASIs to
- 19:58see this. Maybe, yes. Because the next one is
- 20:01in March, right? Well, the springtime, yes. Oh,
- 20:05the springtime. The smaller springtime. Okay,
- 20:07okay. Where are you based? Now you said you're
- 20:11in Canada, so I'm not sure if they have ASI meetings
- 20:14in the spring where you are. Do they? I'm getting
- 20:17familiar with ASI, so this is my first time.
- 20:20I see you have the red tag, which means you are
- 20:22a first -time attendee. Well, when you get Daniel,
- 20:26would you come back and see us? And we would
- 20:29love to share that with the audience. Absolutely.
- 20:31And find out what to do. Bring both books back,
- 20:33and we'll share that. So here's a big question
- 20:36for you. I want this book, besides stealing it
- 20:40from you today. How do I go about getting one?
- 20:43Well, if you're around. No, I wouldn't steal
- 20:44from you. If you're around, you can come and
- 20:48see us tonight at 9. But if you're not, you can
- 20:50go to our website. It's goldentrumpet .com. Goldentrumpet
- 20:56.com. You can get there an electronic version
- 21:01too. You can order our book. Or you can get an
- 21:05e -version. E -version. Yes. Okay. In Spanish,
- 21:08the electronic version is in Spanish and in English.
- 21:11Okay. The book, the physical book is just in
- 21:13English. Do you have plans for languages? Yes.
- 21:16I do need, that's one of the reasons I came here.
- 21:19I'm seeking for support. It's a big project.
- 21:22Yes. It's a big project. To make a book of that
- 21:24quality, that number of illustrations, and print
- 21:28them. It's basically the printing. So, but yes,
- 21:31I do. People have asked me. People have asked
- 21:34me about it. Very good. I'm going to come by
- 21:40your booth after 9 o 'clock then when we open
- 21:43in the evening. Please come. So by the time folks
- 21:45are watching this, I should have one of these.
- 21:47Yes, please. And they should have one of these.
- 21:49Yes, absolutely. It would be so ideal. So when
- 21:52I make this book, the ideal scenario is your
- 21:56personal study, going through it, but also what
- 22:00you... read with your children, going through
- 22:04the Bible to that book. There's a blessing at
- 22:06the beginning of the book of Revelation. But
- 22:09especially also to have a group of friends and
- 22:13then reading and saying, let's go to page 257
- 22:16and start reading the Revelation 13 and going
- 22:21through that and asking, Lord, what do you mean
- 22:23by this? There's a promise that God will bring
- 22:26His Spirit if we ask Him to understand this.
- 22:30So everyone having the visual, then there's no
- 22:32questions. Okay, I know what he's saying. Now,
- 22:35what does that mean? What does that mean, Lord?
- 22:37And the Lord will come. I don't know. He manifests
- 22:40himself in many ways to help us understand. Yeah,
- 22:43the Holy Spirit is a great comforter. Yes, amen.
- 22:45When we're studying and trying to learn. Yes,
- 22:46that's why he comes. That's his purpose. Amen.
- 22:50Sergio Cordova, we're going to be back with a
- 22:51closing thought in just a moment. I want to invite
- 22:53folks to check out... goldentrumpet .com if they
- 22:58want to learn more. We can include that information
- 23:00in the program notes as well. Thank you for joining
- 23:03us today. We will be back in a moment with just
- 23:05a bit more of Mission Sunlight Chat. is reconnecting
- 23:25ourselves with the Creator. We must learn to
- 23:31abide in Jesus now. We move ahead with our mission
- 23:35objectives, recognizing that we are serving together
- 23:38the Most High God. Welcome back to Mission Sunlight
- 23:54Chat. We are chatting with Servio Cordoba and
- 23:56his book, The Book of Revelation. Not actually
- 23:59his book, God's book. It's God's book. But the
- 24:01editor, the way you have packaged it and you
- 24:06have titled the series Mysteries Illustrated.
- 24:09So the Book of Revelation can be thought of as
- 24:13a mystery. Yes. But illustrated this way, it
- 24:16really does open up a visual explanation. Yes.
- 24:20as we went through in the last segment through
- 24:22the various pages. You know, there are some interesting
- 24:26phrases in Revelation. We were mentioning one
- 24:29of those offline. Yes. This idea of the spirit
- 24:34of prophecy. Yes. So share that again. So the
- 24:38Bible says in Revelation 12, 17, that the dragon
- 24:40was wroth with the woman and went to make war
- 24:43with the remnant of her seed, which keep the
- 24:46commandments of God. That's those that believe.
- 24:49and keep the commandments of God. That's a clear
- 24:52doctrine. But the other one says that it's also
- 24:54those that have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
- 24:57So for years I asked myself, where is the testimony
- 25:01of Jesus? So many times we refer to the Gospels,
- 25:05yes, because the Gospels mention Jesus. But the
- 25:08Gospels are the testimony of John, the testimony
- 25:11of Luke, the testimony of Mark, that talk about
- 25:15Jesus. But if we read the book of Revelation,
- 25:18the first two verses, it says that John writes
- 25:21of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
- 25:24And at the end of the book of Revelation, Jesus
- 25:27himself says, he who testify of these things
- 25:30says, I come certainly, I come quickly. So if
- 25:35we go by the text, the testimony of Jesus is
- 25:38the book of Revelation. So the war is against
- 25:42the book of Revelation. I want to bring this
- 25:46because the book is the words against the book
- 25:49of Revelation? Yes. Because it's the only book
- 25:52that is not inspired. I mean, it's not Jesus
- 25:55himself dictated to John. He said, this is what
- 25:59I want you to write. He was right there with
- 26:01him. And it's the testimony of Jesus Christ.
- 26:04And if we want to see the word against the book,
- 26:07we can see the interest that there is in this
- 26:11book. Amen. So God has brought a movement to
- 26:17bring back the understanding of this book. And
- 26:19I don't think that we need to be fearful when
- 26:22we hear what you're talking about, because we
- 26:23know the author and finisher of our faith, the
- 26:26writer of the book, and how the story ends here
- 26:28in Revelation, that Jesus is the victor. Amen,
- 26:31amen. He's victorious, and he wants us to be
- 26:34in tune with his mind, with what he wants us
- 26:37to know about the events that are happening.
- 26:40He wants to give us... through the understanding
- 26:44of what the events of the world will be. Amen.
- 26:47Amen. Just a final word from you, from a favorite
- 26:50text, if you would. Well, actually, I just said
- 26:54it. There's one other verse. It says that the
- 26:57dragon, woe unto the inhabitants of the earth,
- 27:01for the dragon knows that he has but a short
- 27:04time. This morning, the president of the GC conference,
- 27:08he made an appeal to get a sense of urgency.
- 27:12I think we need to go back to that sense of urgency
- 27:14and understanding. And that means doing more
- 27:17mission work. But that also means getting very
- 27:21serious with understanding God's Word. We need
- 27:23to be, as Jesus says, we need to be grounded
- 27:26on the rock. And that means being based on everything
- 27:30that we believe in the Bible. We need to be serious,
- 27:33getting more serious about our Bible reading
- 27:35and understanding. And Golden Trumpet wants to
- 27:39contribute to that, to this book. Amen. Servio,
- 27:44you said you're not a pastor, but you definitely
- 27:46are a minister. Thank you for your ministry.
- 27:50Thanks for sharing. Thank you. What a blessing.
- 27:52Thank you very much for inviting me. Yeah. To
- 27:56our listeners and viewers, thank you for being

- 28:07There are ministries. Not exactly the same as
- 28:11Servio's, but that's the beauty of it. A variety
- 28:13of ministries here sharing how God is working
- 28:15in the field where he has placed them, just as
- 28:19Servio is working in the field of Canada where
- 28:21he has been placed as well. There's an opportunity
- 28:24always. Talk to your pastor if you're interested
- 28:28in connecting in some way in working in a ministry.
