- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, it change makers, and welcome to the deck show
- 0:05Speaker 1: with Tommagra. Let's get into it. It's always been a
- 0:11Speaker 1: point of real fascination to me how the mobile device
- 0:15Speaker 1: in particular creates a kind of workplace without walls, whether
- 0:19Speaker 1: people are on some kind of a front line, or
- 0:22Speaker 1: they're working hybrid, or simply having to operate across so
- 0:27Speaker 1: many multiple locations and time zones that the mobile is
- 0:31Speaker 1: at one kind of point of continuity. It's fair to
- 0:34Speaker 1: say mobile experience has become a really crucial part of
- 0:38Speaker 1: any employee's digital employee experience in total. However, while the
- 0:44Speaker 1: organizations have necessarily become much better at managing mobile devices
- 0:49Speaker 1: from an IT or security perspective, in general, understanding the
- 0:53Speaker 1: actual experience that employees are having on devices has for
- 0:59Speaker 1: long been something of a black box. It has long
- 1:01Speaker 1: been something of a mystery, a state of affairs. However,
- 1:05Speaker 1: that is finally quickly beginning to change, and that's what
- 1:10Speaker 1: we're going to explore today on Reality Bites. Dina and
- 1:14Speaker 1: I are here and we're joined by two very special
- 1:18Speaker 1: guests to explore this topic and to explore the evolution
- 1:22Speaker 1: in this specific area of digital employee experience. I'm going
- 1:26Speaker 1: to introduce you both one by one, starting with you, Rose.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Welcome to the show, Thank you, happy to be here.
- 1:33Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm Rose Takala. I am I've been at
- 1:37Speaker 2: Next Thing for three years. I am working with Mele
- 1:41Speaker 2: and our product team on our VDI side, supporting our
- 1:45Speaker 2: mobile and VDI solutions.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Thank you, Rose. That's fantastic. And now to introduce our
- 1:51Speaker 1: second guest, or to ask our second guest to introduce themselves.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Welcome to the deck, show Mileijokic.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Thank you Tom, and welcome to our listeners. I'm a
- 2:01Speaker 3: senior product manager here at Next Thing almost I think
- 2:04Speaker 3: now three years, and my main world these days is
- 2:07Speaker 3: actually bringing digital experience to mobile devices, which is really
- 2:14Speaker 3: interesting journey so far, and I think also quite a
- 2:17Speaker 3: journey which I have ahead of me.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You know, we had a very big announcement last month.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's announcement a lot of people in the industry who
- 2:25Speaker 1: have been waiting for a long time. Pitch us. First
- 2:29Speaker 1: of all, what was announced and why does it matter?
- 2:32Speaker 3: So let's start with a really simple pitch, I would say,
- 2:35Speaker 3: and it's basically, we're bringing for the IT team's mobile
- 2:41Speaker 3: employee experience, moving them from just mobile device management to
- 2:48Speaker 3: reasonibility into mobile devices itself. And the main reason for
- 2:52Speaker 3: that is as of today, they mainly know how to
- 2:56Speaker 3: involve a device, a little bit about compliance, but they
- 3:00Speaker 3: had really any visibility into mobile devices. What is happening
- 3:04Speaker 3: mobile devices. You could say it's a kind of a
- 3:07Speaker 3: black hole for it what's happening on the mobile device,
- 3:11Speaker 3: But actually mobile becomes really important. They're not secondary devices.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Retail workers use mobile devices day to day. If any
- 3:21Speaker 3: connection issues, they cannot finish their work. Nurses use the
- 3:25Speaker 3: devices in hospitals and if the device have a issue,
- 3:28Speaker 3: they cannot bring the services to the patients. So it's
- 3:32Speaker 3: really key important to get mobile experience. And it's not
- 3:36Speaker 3: about just data collection. It's about how data can be
- 3:40Speaker 3: intepreted by our customers. And I think he is next
- 3:44Speaker 3: to the strongest part in the market because it's really
- 3:48Speaker 3: how our platform works and how it brings visibility to
- 3:52Speaker 3: all those data points to our customers.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Next for mobiles specifically, Rose, why is this such an
- 3:59Speaker 4: important step?
- 3:59Speaker 2: For Yeah, good question. I mean Melee just like Melee
- 4:03Speaker 2: was saying, right, there's there's metrics that the UM tools
- 4:08Speaker 2: are providing, right, and that can give you some indication,
- 4:13Speaker 2: but there's really that bigger story of like how can
- 4:16Speaker 2: a UH an employee actually do their job with a
- 4:19Speaker 2: mobile device? And you know, traditionally next thing because and
- 4:24Speaker 2: and other DECK providers have been focused on laptops, right
- 4:27Speaker 2: or even virtual sessions, but there hasn't been much of
- 4:30Speaker 2: a focus on the mobile market, the mobile devices, which
- 4:34Speaker 2: is kind of shocking honestly, because there are so many
- 4:37Speaker 2: industries and so many UH companies that laptop is not
- 4:43Speaker 2: their first device, right, it is a UH, it's a
- 4:47Speaker 2: it's a mobile device that is being used for patient care.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It is dependent on you know, getting revenue for retail,
- 4:56Speaker 2: UH for food and beverage industries, for even for entertainment venues.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Now right, they're scanning with a phone, So so many
- 5:04Speaker 2: of these companies manufacturing are all dependent upon a mobile device.
- 5:10Speaker 2: And then there's this visibility gap where you don't have
- 5:14Speaker 2: more than just a few metrics from your UEM tool.
- 5:17Speaker 2: So this is a huge step forward because we're now
- 5:19Speaker 2: taking those those insights, those automations, those actionable pieces that
- 5:25Speaker 2: we've been traditionally providing for you know, laptops and virtual sessions,
- 5:30Speaker 2: and now we're translating that for a mobile team that
- 5:33Speaker 2: didn't have something prior.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Totally aligned with that. It's some evolution of how we
- 5:39Speaker 4: are working, right, and how work is being done remotely
- 5:43Speaker 4: and in different industries. So what defines mobile work in
- 5:47Speaker 4: twenty twenty six and how do you see this evolving
- 5:51Speaker 4: over the next few years.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we're seeing customers kind of look at
- 5:57Speaker 2: mobile devices as like I said, a growing and growing
- 6:01Speaker 2: in popularity as the first line device, right where they're
- 6:05Speaker 2: kind of abandoning a traditional laptop where they didn't need it.
- 6:09Speaker 2: They're looking at tablets, they're looking at phones, and they're seeing, Wow,
- 6:12Speaker 2: there's so many different capabilities that these devices can do. Now,
- 6:16Speaker 2: let's transition our technologies there. So we're we're hearing from customers,
- 6:20Speaker 2: especially in healthcare right that they're moving to a mobile
- 6:23Speaker 2: first strategy. So that's a trend I think we're going
- 6:26Speaker 2: to continue to see. But on on the you know,
- 6:31Speaker 2: administrative side, we're also going to see the you know,
- 6:37Speaker 2: um tools up their game on what metrics they can provide,
- 6:41Speaker 2: what can what insights they can do it with more frequency, right,
- 6:45Speaker 2: And and the important thing to remember is that you
- 6:48Speaker 2: know that to understand if they can actually do their job.
- 6:51Speaker 2: If that that deck story, It's more than just those metrics.
- 6:54Speaker 2: You have to have a holistic picture. You have to
- 6:57Speaker 2: really understand the context in which the the user is
- 7:01Speaker 2: using the device. You have to understand the network, the apps,
- 7:05Speaker 2: all of those pieces. So you know, I do see
- 7:07Speaker 2: this getting to be more of a top of mind
- 7:11Speaker 2: for both SaaS vendors and for mobile engineers, but you
- 7:17Speaker 2: have to also keep in mind that you know there
- 7:19Speaker 2: is still going to be that need for a holistic
- 7:22Speaker 2: picture and not just additional metrics.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Mile It's it's no secret there's there's there's been a
- 7:28Speaker 1: degree of impatience inside cheeses of this specific functionality right
- 7:34Speaker 1: inside it I should say inside dex teams to be
- 7:37Speaker 1: even more specific. Not a bit too fine a point
- 7:41Speaker 1: on it media, But why has it taken until now
- 7:43Speaker 1: the next thing to really come forward and solve this problem?
- 7:46Speaker 1: What with the hardest technical or product challenges to overcome?
- 7:50Speaker 3: That's a it's a really good question. So so first
- 7:53Speaker 3: of all, I mean, as we all know, in product development,
- 7:56Speaker 3: they're always kind of competing priorities, and depending how we
- 7:59Speaker 3: see the market and also the need of our customers,
- 8:02Speaker 3: we had different parities like we put like REDI before
- 8:06Speaker 3: mobile because we really saw the need of REDI and
- 8:09Speaker 3: I think our customers are really happy with the solution
- 8:11Speaker 3: we delivered to them. But mobile is also kind of
- 8:15Speaker 3: a different technical challenge. Mobile operating systems are let's say,
- 8:19Speaker 3: quite young compared to Windows Mac. Because they're young, they
- 8:23Speaker 3: have much more restrictions, which is a good thing because
- 8:26Speaker 3: of security and privacy. So understanding which data we can collect,
- 8:32Speaker 3: which data makes sense to collect it takes time, but
- 8:36Speaker 3: also taste this big fragmentation on mobile. We have Android,
- 8:40Speaker 3: we have iPad, we have iPad os, all three of
- 8:44Speaker 3: the things that we're supporting with our solution. I mean
- 8:48Speaker 3: there's also vision OS which we don't support as of today.
- 8:52Speaker 3: But you see, just a fragmentation is super widespread and
- 8:56Speaker 3: I don't want to even to start going down how
- 8:59Speaker 3: the devices are managed from an unmanaged, deviced device with
- 9:03Speaker 3: a work profile, supervised not supervised. So and all of
- 9:08Speaker 3: these flavors bring their own challenges with them. And there
- 9:12Speaker 3: is third reason we did not want to just to
- 9:16Speaker 3: bring another inventory dashboard to the market because our customers
- 9:21Speaker 3: have them in um or our tools what they exported
- 9:25Speaker 3: and have their PI dashboard where they see this data.
- 9:29Speaker 3: It was really understanding which data makes sense to extract
- 9:35Speaker 3: and also be tweenspoint which data we can get out
- 9:38Speaker 3: of the operating system and give actionable items and matrix
- 9:43Speaker 3: to our customers that they can react on that. Let's
- 9:48Speaker 3: think about the example, if a single device has an
- 9:51Speaker 3: issue with a battery, it's maybe not a major problem.
- 9:55Speaker 3: But if all devices from the same manufacturer have suddenly
- 10:00Speaker 3: bettery issues, it's something that we want to operationalize and
- 10:04Speaker 3: see and act quickly. It's easier to switch one device
- 10:08Speaker 3: than switch a complete device fleet. So it comes to
- 10:11Speaker 3: really about the use cases our customers have with mobile devices,
- 10:15Speaker 3: bringing this visibility and making that actionable for our customers.
- 10:21Speaker 3: And I think also we see that more and more
- 10:24Speaker 3: devices are becoming Android device. For example, Android devices in
- 10:28Speaker 3: any shop if you go today, or iOS devices if
- 10:31Speaker 3: you want to go curser shopping, you see suddenly all
- 10:35Speaker 3: these self checkout devices that all of those are in
- 10:38Speaker 3: the end of the day Android devices, or in the
- 10:40Speaker 3: Apple store, you don't go anymore and follow the person
- 10:44Speaker 3: to a desk. The seller comes to you and finishes
- 10:48Speaker 3: the work where you are standing. So mobile devices are
- 10:50Speaker 3: becoming really critical these.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Days without that getting too much technical end to it.
- 10:57Speaker 4: But how does next thing actually capture and enter ThReD
- 11:00Speaker 4: mobile experience data in a way that's meaningful for it?
- 11:05Speaker 3: So not getting technical is kind of a challenge for
- 11:07Speaker 3: me because.
- 11:08Speaker 5: It's the technical part, not getting way too technical.
- 11:12Speaker 1: On the how to.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Yeah, so now I think the good thing that next
- 11:17Speaker 3: thing is that quite a broad spectrum of product managers
- 11:20Speaker 3: are technical. But do not switch into that part right now.
- 11:24Speaker 3: It's really we are capturing signals from official approved sources
- 11:29Speaker 3: on the mobile device with our native application on Android
- 11:32Speaker 3: n iOS. We don't try to buypass something or to
- 11:36Speaker 3: use hidden APIs because we know that Apple Google can
- 11:42Speaker 3: close them pretty fast and then we don't get this
- 11:45Speaker 3: information anymore. So this is one part how we get
- 11:49Speaker 3: the data from the devices. And the second part is
- 11:53Speaker 3: we talked a lot that mobile devices are managed in
- 11:57Speaker 3: unified endpoint management solutions, and this is also some information
- 12:01Speaker 3: that is important of our customers, like the compliance or
- 12:04Speaker 3: how the devices are managed. And there we have integrations
- 12:08Speaker 3: into the solution, especially right now intune to enrich the
- 12:11Speaker 3: data that we have. So it's really about being transparent
- 12:16Speaker 3: which data we collect and the different sources how we
- 12:19Speaker 3: collect to provide our customers meaningful information that they can
- 12:25Speaker 3: see and action on it.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Roise, I'm interested in have a mobile experience piece connects
- 12:31Speaker 1: with and enhances for why the digital employee experience pictures.
- 12:35Speaker 1: So looking aheat, what capabilities or use cases does mobile
- 12:39Speaker 1: experience really unlock? But one previously accessible to next think users?
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well, I mean in general, right, we didn't
- 12:48Speaker 2: have mobile support. So just having disability into the mobile state,
- 12:52Speaker 2: I think that was pretty obvious. But we're expanding and
- 12:56Speaker 2: extending you know a lot of those capabilities and you
- 13:00Speaker 2: cases that you previously had with other technologies, right, So
- 13:04Speaker 2: you thinking about like asset management, right, how can you
- 13:07Speaker 2: optimize that so you're only replacing devices that need it
- 13:11Speaker 2: or batteries that need it. Right, So we've done that before.
- 13:14Speaker 2: We're applying that at those insights to mobile talk about
- 13:18Speaker 2: you know network health connectivity pieces around that. You know
- 13:22Speaker 2: there's there is a unique piece with the mobile the
- 13:26Speaker 2: mobile metrics where you know, we're also looking at a
- 13:29Speaker 2: cellular connection cellular data plans. Right for some customers, maybe
- 13:33Speaker 2: that's an optimization uh that they want to make right,
- 13:37Speaker 2: understanding who needs to have a cellular plan, who's not
- 13:41Speaker 2: using it? Can you use Wi Fi? That sort of thing.
- 13:44Speaker 2: So there's some pieces there. And then I think what's
- 13:51Speaker 2: probably most unique to mobile is the application insights. Now
- 13:57Speaker 2: we have that of course on other technologies, but the
- 13:59Speaker 2: application in sites are really something that other tools can't
- 14:03Speaker 2: get into on mobile device. And I think Mela probably
- 14:07Speaker 2: will explain it best on you know where what he's
- 14:10Speaker 2: doing and where we're going with that.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, for especially application activity insights, it's quite
- 14:19Speaker 3: a unique thing that we have for the ecosystem. I
- 14:23Speaker 3: would say it's really understanding which application is doing which connection.
- 14:28Speaker 3: So so just give you example, we have today AI
- 14:31Speaker 3: drive which gives us the visibility on our desktop which
- 14:34Speaker 3: AI tools are used. And basically we can help with
- 14:39Speaker 3: AI drive to drive a little bit compliance which AI
- 14:42Speaker 3: tool should be used and make users aware that a
- 14:45Speaker 3: certain tool maybe should not be used. But on mobile
- 14:49Speaker 3: we're missing this information. And what I can happen today
- 14:52Speaker 3: employee can switch to his mobile device and suddenly use
- 14:55Speaker 3: let's say a non compliant AI tool there, and with
- 14:59Speaker 3: this application activity we can understand which application is sending
- 15:04Speaker 3: connections to certain domains, not only as a native app
- 15:08Speaker 3: if someone is s downloading like Deepsick, but also if
- 15:11Speaker 3: he uses his browser to reach out to a certain
- 15:14Speaker 3: AI endpoint. I think that's quite important to help our
- 15:19Speaker 3: customers to stay compliant in this fast changing world. With AI.
- 15:24Speaker 5: We already answered now the question of how we are
- 15:28Speaker 5: keeping the product the visibility first, So I'll jump to
- 15:31Speaker 5: the last one, which is which features are you personally
- 15:35Speaker 5: most proud of in this product or in this project?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Mele, I mean, it's it's a complete new product, so
- 15:42Speaker 3: it's hard to pinpoint a single feature itself. I would
- 15:45Speaker 3: say one point that I'm really part of this first
- 15:50Speaker 3: of all, that we brought these complex topics of mobile
- 15:54Speaker 3: into next thing, into digital end user experience, give or
- 15:59Speaker 3: customers meaningful insights how they can interpret this data itself.
- 16:06Speaker 3: The most personally brought we just talked about is it's
- 16:09Speaker 3: really the app connection. I would say it's really understanding
- 16:14Speaker 3: not only which AI tool is used. It just opens
- 16:17Speaker 3: that many use cases besides understanding which application actually is adopted.
- 16:23Speaker 3: UN tools tell us to day that an application is installed.
- 16:27Speaker 3: But if my colley comes who is the app owner,
- 16:29Speaker 3: and asks, hey, is my application used? I can give
- 16:33Speaker 3: you my thumbs up and smile and say, yeah, it's
- 16:35Speaker 3: installed on all devices, but I'm missing the information who
- 16:40Speaker 3: is using it? Is it used on all devices or
- 16:44Speaker 3: another use cases. We all know that pushing mail is
- 16:48Speaker 3: getting much better these days, so it's not the grammar
- 16:52Speaker 3: chromatical issued email anymore. It's a well format that email
- 16:57Speaker 3: looks like coming from Microsoft. If I click on it,
- 17:01Speaker 3: one will open it, but it will connect to mixoft
- 17:03Speaker 3: and not Microsoft. But we understand that an application was
- 17:08Speaker 3: doing just one or two connection to a certain domain
- 17:10Speaker 3: and this is always suspicious. So we see this connectivity
- 17:14Speaker 3: information gives us that much information that we didn't have
- 17:19Speaker 3: to day on mobile devices itself. And I don't want
- 17:24Speaker 3: to talk too much about the future, but I think
- 17:27Speaker 3: in the future there's something on the horizon where I
- 17:30Speaker 3: will be even more prout of it, and also our
- 17:33Speaker 3: customers will be really happy to adopt to the additional
- 17:37Speaker 3: features that are on the horizon for this year for
- 17:39Speaker 3: mobile experience.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Rose, who's the ideal buyer for mobile experience? Who should
- 17:46Speaker 1: be paying the most attention out there right now?
- 17:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's there isn't one particular you know,
- 17:52Speaker 2: role persona I would say, but it's it's really, who
- 17:56Speaker 2: what are the teams that are struggling that with insights
- 18:01Speaker 2: that depend on mobile devices for their business? Really, I mean,
- 18:06Speaker 2: let's be fair, having mobile insights is gonna be a
- 18:10Speaker 2: great for any deck strategy for any industry, even if
- 18:13Speaker 2: you're not, you know, fully dependent on your mobile devices
- 18:16Speaker 2: for your business. But but the ones, you know, healthcare,
- 18:18Speaker 2: we're talking manufacturing, retail, all of those where you know,
- 18:23Speaker 2: the mobile engineers don't have the data. They have little pieces.
- 18:28Speaker 2: And I wouldn't even say, oh, you have to have
- 18:31Speaker 2: a ton of you know, tickets to make this worthwhile
- 18:34Speaker 2: because what we're hearing from customers is a lot of times,
- 18:36Speaker 2: especially in like healthcare, but the they don't even no
- 18:40Speaker 2: one has time to file a ticket if their device
- 18:43Speaker 2: isn't working, right, they just throw it aside, try to
- 18:45Speaker 2: get a new one. So it's it's really a whole
- 18:48Speaker 2: effort of is where's the pain is that? Do you
- 18:51Speaker 2: not have the insights? And now are you watching all
- 18:54Speaker 2: your other teams get automations, get modernized with their IT
- 18:59Speaker 2: strategy and you're left just kind of on this rigid
- 19:04Speaker 2: traditional I plan and you want to move to something
- 19:08Speaker 2: that's more modern, right, So I would say, you just
- 19:10Speaker 2: have to have that that need and that vision and
- 19:14Speaker 2: mobile experience for Next Thing is it's going to be
- 19:17Speaker 2: the solution for you fabers.
- 19:19Speaker 1: So Rose, it's come up a couple of times mentioned
- 19:21Speaker 1: a v d I experience. It makes me think you
- 19:24Speaker 1: are the master of closing blind spots in the I
- 19:28Speaker 1: T escape. This might be your specialty. Maybe we haven't
- 19:34Speaker 1: we haven't already had a proper discussion of the show
- 19:36Speaker 1: about v d I experience for for a good few months.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Maybe bring the listenership up to date. We have wherever products,
- 19:42Speaker 1: wherever product's at, and where it's going next.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, sure, I mean in a very similar vein,
- 19:48Speaker 2: right like the v d I teams, and there's there's
- 19:51Speaker 2: such a variety of different vd I types these days,
- 19:53Speaker 2: so it will really depend on on what you're using today.
- 19:58Speaker 2: But you know, as we move more to the cloud
- 20:01Speaker 2: and have solutions like ABD, Windows three sixty five, AWS workspaces,
- 20:08Speaker 2: you know Next Thing supports all of those, right, and
- 20:11Speaker 2: you're really just translating all of the insights and the
- 20:15Speaker 2: value that you can get from the physical devices to
- 20:18Speaker 2: those virtual devices and help the teams kind of work
- 20:21Speaker 2: more cohesively together there's there's the troubleshooting aspect, right because
- 20:26Speaker 2: VDI is notorious for having problems, whether they are VDI
- 20:30Speaker 2: problems or problems caused by applications or the network or
- 20:33Speaker 2: other teams. Right, but kind of giving that bigger picture
- 20:37Speaker 2: of understanding how the teams can work. BDI as a specialization,
- 20:43Speaker 2: I have said in many calls it could be a
- 20:46Speaker 2: different language in some cases. Right, there's so many acronyms,
- 20:49Speaker 2: so many components that you know, even technical people can't
- 20:55Speaker 2: understand unless you're an expert. So that means that those specialists,
- 20:58Speaker 2: those DI specialists are a high cost asset. And when
- 21:02Speaker 2: you're sending all of these issues to them to fix
- 21:07Speaker 2: and they don't even end up being their problem, it's
- 21:10Speaker 2: a waste of time, it's a waste of resources. So
- 21:12Speaker 2: what next thing can do is help really bring a
- 21:16Speaker 2: shared responsibility amongst the anybody who's troubleshooting and helping to
- 21:22Speaker 2: improve the employee experience for those virtual devices. And you
- 21:27Speaker 2: know where we're going. We're, like I said, we're supporting
- 21:30Speaker 2: all of those cloud where we have Citrix and Omnissus
- 21:33Speaker 2: as well. So if you're having an on prem solution,
- 21:37Speaker 2: if you're migrating, you know, to a cloud. Next Thing
- 21:41Speaker 2: can also help track before after performance in that way,
- 21:45Speaker 2: and the roadmap is continually adding new metrics and features
- 21:52Speaker 2: around those infrastructure pieces too to support those on premises deployments.
- 21:58Speaker 2: So we're we're really excited to just you know, with
- 22:02Speaker 2: both with mobile and VDI, to have this holistic picture
- 22:06Speaker 2: and really embrace the power of our infinity platform against
- 22:11Speaker 2: these different technologies and metrics.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Have there any blind spots left roads, I'm just wondering.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I mean, there's always going to be blind spots. Sure,
- 22:22Speaker 2: you know, we're we're working towards thin client support as well,
- 22:26Speaker 2: so adding another technology there's I'm sure there will be
- 22:31Speaker 2: more to come. I'm not privy to the super secret
- 22:36Speaker 2: roadmap items beyond you know this year, but but Next
- 22:40Speaker 2: Thing is always on the edge right of providing insights
- 22:44Speaker 2: and dex uh automations. So I think we all have
- 22:48Speaker 2: to just stay tuned. It's going to be It's gonna
- 22:50Speaker 2: be great. Mela.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You were just saying before the show, and you don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: know how customers keep up. Always always new announcements, always
- 22:58Speaker 1: new innovations.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, I mean, I mean we're adding every time
- 23:01Speaker 3: something new to the text equation. But I think we
- 23:04Speaker 3: have now a kind of a full picture. We have
- 23:06Speaker 3: our endpoints, we have REDI, and now we're also finally mobile,
- 23:11Speaker 3: bringing the full equation there that our customers can understand
- 23:14Speaker 3: on all the devices for all the employees, what is
- 23:17Speaker 3: happening and helping all the employees, if it's fontline work CERTs,
- 23:21Speaker 3: if it's knowledge workers like we all here, and even
- 23:26Speaker 3: fontline workers that are using VDI to access certain applications, right.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Yeah, And I mean it's like in healthcare, right we're
- 23:34Speaker 2: seeing mobile and BDI. They're interdependent. Those teams are using BDI,
- 23:41Speaker 2: you know epic, they're using it on an iPad. So
- 23:45Speaker 2: it's really important that we provide those engineers visibility not
- 23:50Speaker 2: only into the virtual machine, to the network, to the applications,
- 23:53Speaker 2: but also into the client device, which in this case
- 23:56Speaker 2: and in growing and popularity, are mobile devices, so it's
- 24:00Speaker 2: all interconnected. Yeah.
- 24:03Speaker 1: It feels like a great moment to give up what
- 24:06Speaker 1: I think is our first official plug of the year
- 24:09Speaker 1: from Experience twenty twenty six, where I'm sure visitors are
- 24:14Speaker 1: going to learn have opportunities to learn more about both
- 24:16Speaker 1: Mobile Experience and VDI experience alongside every essential topic related
- 24:22Speaker 1: two decks. Of course, it is. Anybody listening probably already
- 24:26Speaker 1: knows v definitive DEX event, as they might not know.
- 24:29Speaker 1: This year there will be no European event. There will
- 24:32Speaker 1: only be one event for the entire world, one experience
- 24:36Speaker 1: to rule them Moore. It's in Orlando, Florida at JW.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Marriott Grand Lakes Beautiful Hotel. Beautiful Hotel, everybody says. It's
- 24:45Speaker 1: running from October the fifth to the seventh, and you're
- 24:48Speaker 1: going to be able to find out more on the website.
- 24:50Speaker 1: We've got a link to it in the show notes,
- 24:53Speaker 1: so please do check that out. There's already some insights
- 24:55Speaker 1: into the agenda available and you're able to book your
- 24:59Speaker 1: ticket at special discounted rates right away, so so don't delay.
- 25:04Speaker 1: It's it's gonna be a fantastic trip for everybody who
- 25:08Speaker 1: loves DEX. And just remains for me to thank Dina
- 25:11Speaker 1: for joining me in helping me out today and and
- 25:14Speaker 1: Rose and Mila for being our guests. It's been it's
- 25:16Speaker 1: been wonderful to have you both. It's a it's a great,
- 25:19Speaker 1: great topic, a lot of interest and enthusiasm about this
- 25:22Speaker 1: area and we really really appreciate it.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Thanks for having us.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 25:27Speaker 1: That's it for this week's Deck Show. We'll be back
