- 0:00Speaker 1: What we should do is you should choose the United
- 0:03Speaker 1: States of America again. This time we'll leave Mexico and
- 0:07Speaker 1: Canada out. But then what you do is you which
- 0:11Speaker 1: I was very nice to get them in. But what
- 0:13Speaker 1: we do is leave you choose us, but you pick
- 0:15Speaker 1: somebody else for the next one, and then we'll take
- 0:18Speaker 1: some of the anger, hatred and steam out of everyone.
- 0:22Speaker 1: But Johnny also had another idea. He said we could
- 0:24Speaker 1: do it China and the United States for next time.
- 0:28Speaker 1: We do them China, United States. So you have a
- 0:30Speaker 1: nice short flight in between games.
- 0:33Speaker 2: The players would love that you're listening to the forty
- 0:36Speaker 2: seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning. It's so nice to have you with
- 0:41Speaker 3: us on the forty seven Morning Update. And we've got
- 0:43Speaker 3: two big stories for you first up. First up, Democrats
- 0:47Speaker 3: refuse to show up for a hearing about massive ways
- 0:50Speaker 3: fraud abuse in our federal government. So why did they bail?
- 0:54Speaker 3: We'll explain that to you. And also another shocking story
- 0:58Speaker 3: for you. The Democratic Party is dying right now and
- 1:01Speaker 3: who's taking over the Democratic Socialists of America? And they
- 1:05Speaker 3: put out their new manifesto of what they believe in
- 1:09Speaker 3: and it should scare every American to your core. It's
- 1:12Speaker 3: a forty seven morning update, and it starts right now.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Typically in Washington, d C. You've got shouting matches on
- 1:21Speaker 3: the Senate floor, on the House floor, right. But well,
- 1:24Speaker 3: something else happened in Washington yesterday and it involved something
- 1:29Speaker 3: much quieter and arguably more telling. The Senate Homeland Security
- 1:34Speaker 3: and Governmental Affairs Committee held a major hearing. You did
- 1:39Speaker 3: not hear about this at all. I'm guessing it was
- 1:42Speaker 3: an important hearing, by the way, examining fraud against you,
- 1:46Speaker 3: the American taxpayer. According to committee Republicans, not a single
- 1:52Speaker 3: Democratic member attended the hearing that involved taxpayers being defrauded.
- 1:58Speaker 3: The hearing focus not on how millions, but how tens
- 2:02Speaker 3: of billions of taxpayer dollars have been lost to fraud
- 2:06Speaker 3: and what Congress can do to stop it. Translation, Democrats
- 2:11Speaker 3: don't want to stop it at all, because many of
- 2:13Speaker 3: the fraudsters are the ones paying them to look the
- 2:17Speaker 3: other way. Americans are paying taxes at every level. You
- 2:21Speaker 3: have your federal taxes, you got your state taxes, you
- 2:24Speaker 3: got your local taxes, and families have been dealing with inflation.
- 2:29Speaker 3: They've been dealing with higher interest rates and obviously rising costs.
- 2:33Speaker 3: So you would think the Democrats would want to expose
- 2:37Speaker 3: fraud against taxpayers and also make sure that your dollars
- 2:41Speaker 3: are going to be aple that actually need the money
- 2:43Speaker 3: unless you're on the take. And Democrats, well, they were
- 2:48Speaker 3: completely empty.
- 2:50Speaker 4: None of them showed up.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Now, one of the reasons they didn't show up is
- 2:54Speaker 3: because one of the star witnesses was that independent journalist
- 2:58Speaker 3: Nick shirley. Investigation into the Minnesota Childcare Network showed massive fraud,
- 3:05Speaker 3: including the Quality Leering Center, which helped draw attention to
- 3:10Speaker 3: allegations that the organization received roughly ten million in taxpayer
- 3:14Speaker 3: dollars despite having no children in attendance. That is what
- 3:19Speaker 3: exploded into a much bigger story of fraud. Senator Jenny
- 3:24Speaker 3: Arst used the hearing to argue that this case demonstrates
- 3:27Speaker 3: how easily bad actors are exploiting government programs when oversight
- 3:33Speaker 3: is virtually nonexistent, especially when Democrats looked the other way,
- 3:37Speaker 3: and literally they were looking so far the other way
- 3:40Speaker 3: they would even show up to the hearing.
- 3:42Speaker 4: About the fraud.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Now, according to Center Earns, the federal government lost up
- 3:48Speaker 3: to five hundred and twenty one billion dollars every year.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I'm going to say that again, federal government, meaning your
- 3:56Speaker 3: tax dollars, your tax dollars, they're wasting through fraud five
- 4:01Speaker 3: hundred and twenty one billion every year to various programs.
- 4:05Speaker 3: That's not just waste, it's money that could otherwise go
- 4:08Speaker 3: towards legitimate services, or give you a massive tax break,
- 4:14Speaker 3: or also pay down our national debt. Now, the hearing
- 4:18Speaker 3: also revisited the broader series of fraud scandals in Minnesota.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Republicans pointed to investigations alleging that more than nine billion
- 4:26Speaker 3: alone in fraud had been uncovered across some multiple state
- 4:31Speaker 3: administer programs in recent years.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Now. Those figures include the well known.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Feeding our Future case, the pandemic related fraud, childcare fraud allegations,
- 4:42Speaker 3: and other investigations that have led to numerous criminal charges
- 4:46Speaker 3: and arrests. Senator Ernst argued that these cases exposed as
- 4:50Speaker 3: systemic failure and it's not just isolated criminal acts. She
- 4:55Speaker 3: also discussed legislation she has introduced that would require stronger
- 4:59Speaker 3: verification before tax payer money is distributed, require reimbursements only
- 5:05Speaker 3: after services are actually provided, and then strengthen the record
- 5:10Speaker 3: keeping requirements as well as expand auditing authority. Her argument
- 5:14Speaker 3: was straightforward, don't just spend money faster, verify where it's
- 5:19Speaker 3: going before writing the check at all. And the broader
- 5:22Speaker 3: hearing also looked at how fraud is evolving nationwide. Again,
- 5:27Speaker 3: the Democrats weren't in the room for any of this,
- 5:29Speaker 3: and the media is not reporting on it either, but
- 5:32Speaker 3: witnesses discussed increasingly sophisticated identity theft, digital fraud schemes, and
- 5:39Speaker 3: weakness and government verification systems where there have been warnings
- 5:43Speaker 3: but no changes. Experts, by the way, also testified that
- 5:47Speaker 3: we need much stronger identity verification and also we should
- 5:52Speaker 3: be using modern anti fraud technology that the private sector uses.
- 5:56Speaker 3: They say just that alone could help stop billions in
- 6:00Speaker 3: fraudulent payments before the money leaves the government coffers. Again,
- 6:05Speaker 3: all of this was at the hearing that no Democrats
- 6:08Speaker 3: showed up four And before I get to that, I
- 6:11Speaker 3: want to talk about how important it is right now
- 6:14Speaker 3: that we as conservatives and Christians give our mind to
- 6:17Speaker 3: companies that actually fight and stand for our values instead
- 6:20Speaker 3: of fight against them. And the stakes, as I just mentioned,
- 6:23Speaker 3: couldn't be higher. We finally have a president and administration
- 6:27Speaker 3: that are fighting hard for America. But if conservatives we
- 6:31Speaker 3: lose focus, well, the same people who created this mess
- 6:33Speaker 3: will be back in charge, and they're waiting to resume
- 6:36Speaker 3: their destructive progressive agenda. Protecting this momentum takes more than votes.
- 6:41Speaker 3: It takes you and I staying in the fight for
- 6:43Speaker 3: our rights and our freedoms. And that's why more and
- 6:46Speaker 3: more people I know I'm one of them switched to
- 6:50Speaker 3: Patriot Mobile now. Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative
- 6:54Speaker 3: wireless provider. Patriot Mobile offers premium priority nationwide service on
- 7:00Speaker 3: all three major networks. They have unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots,
- 7:04Speaker 3: international roaming. You can go anywhere and have service, and
- 7:07Speaker 3: they have one hundred percent US based customer support. Now,
- 7:10Speaker 3: switching has never been easier. You can do it on
- 7:14Speaker 3: the phone in minutes, and unlike the other carriers, Patriot
- 7:17Speaker 3: Mobile puts your money towards causes defending our faith, our family,
- 7:22Speaker 3: our freedom. They contribute millions each year and no cost
- 7:26Speaker 3: to you, to organizations on the front lines fighting for
- 7:29Speaker 3: our God given rights. So if you have not looked
- 7:33Speaker 3: at Patriot Mobile for you or your small business or
- 7:36Speaker 3: even a bigger business. Check them out and I'll give
- 7:38Speaker 3: you a free month of service. Go to Patriot Mobile
- 7:41Speaker 3: dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 7:47Speaker 3: You can also call them nine to seven to two
- 7:50Speaker 3: Patriot and if you use the promo code ferguson, you'll
- 7:53Speaker 3: get a free month of service. That's Patriot Mobile dot
- 7:55Speaker 3: com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot. And
- 7:59Speaker 3: make that switch and make a difference with every call
- 8:01Speaker 3: you make today. Now you may say they just don't care, Well,
- 8:06Speaker 3: Democrats may have had reasons for not attending beyond that.
- 8:09Speaker 3: They of course claimed it was scheduling conflicts or disagreement
- 8:14Speaker 3: about the committee's focus. That was some of their big lines.
- 8:18Speaker 3: But what you really have to look at is the
- 8:20Speaker 3: Democratic Party. Many of the members receive money connected to
- 8:24Speaker 3: many of the fraud abusers. So this isn't just about politics.
- 8:30Speaker 3: This is about optics, and they didn't want to have
- 8:32Speaker 3: to answer questions about the money that's come into their
- 8:35Speaker 3: own campaigns. Now, Republicans, they are furious, and this is
- 8:40Speaker 3: exactly what Donald Trump had been talking about for months
- 8:43Speaker 3: on end. He believes that every dollar's town through fraud
- 8:48Speaker 3: is a dollar that hard working Americans have earned and
- 8:51Speaker 3: then sent to Washington, expecting it to be used responsibly.
- 8:55Speaker 3: But when criminals exploit the government programs, the taxpayers don't
- 8:59Speaker 3: just pay once, they now pay twice.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Not only they lose the money.
- 9:04Speaker 3: But they're often asked to pay even more taxes to
- 9:07Speaker 3: keep those same programs funded. And that is why the
- 9:10Speaker 3: President said he's had enough now. This hearing also comes
- 9:13Speaker 3: as Washington continues debating deficits government spending in the national.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Debt, which is clearly out of control.
- 9:22Speaker 3: So if lawmakers are actually serious about fiscal responsibility, many
- 9:26Speaker 3: would argue that preventing fraud should be one of the
- 9:29Speaker 3: easiest places to start. You don't have to cut benefits
- 9:33Speaker 3: to stop fraud. You don't have to raise taxes to
- 9:36Speaker 3: stop fraud. You simply have to make sure taxpayer dollars
- 9:39Speaker 3: actually reach the people and purposes they're intended for. Now,
- 9:45Speaker 3: whether today's hearing ultimately leads to biparson reforms, I can
- 9:49Speaker 3: promise you that ain't gonna happen. But Republicans clearly intend
- 9:53Speaker 3: to make government fraud, and the absence of the democratic
- 9:57Speaker 3: participation in today's hearing a political issu thank you ahead
- 10:00Speaker 3: of the midterms, as they should. It's also estimated that
- 10:05Speaker 3: now we're talking about hundreds of billions of dollars that
- 10:09Speaker 3: could have been saved through stronger oversight. Democrats knew this,
- 10:13Speaker 3: and they chose to push fraud and make it bigger.
- 10:17Speaker 3: They also knew we needed better verification, and they were warned.
- 10:21Speaker 4: But what do they do.
- 10:22Speaker 3: They made sure there wasn't verification why so the fraudsters
- 10:26Speaker 3: could continue to do their schemes. And they also knew,
- 10:30Speaker 3: of course I'm talking about the Democrats, that we needed
- 10:33Speaker 3: more effective enforcement when people broke the rules. But instead
- 10:36Speaker 3: what they do they made sure there was virtually no enforcement. So,
- 10:42Speaker 3: for all of you taxpayers listening right now, the question
- 10:46Speaker 3: that we all should be asking is this, If Congress
- 10:49Speaker 3: can't agree on almost nothing else, why can't they even
- 10:52Speaker 3: agree on protecting the money that American families have worked
- 10:56Speaker 3: so hard to earn. The answer, unfortunately, is clear. Democrats
- 11:01Speaker 3: would rather steal your money have it come back from
- 11:05Speaker 3: the fraudsters into their campaigns. That's what they're really all
- 11:09Speaker 3: about now.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Story number two.
- 11:11Speaker 3: All right, there's a new warning and a new article
- 11:14Speaker 3: from the Free Press that is reigniting the long running
- 11:17Speaker 3: debate about the direction of the Democratic Party and specifically
- 11:22Speaker 3: now the massive influence and the massive number of candidates
- 11:26Speaker 3: that the Democratic Socialists of America known as DSA are
- 11:30Speaker 3: actually having and when it comes to influence in its
- 11:33Speaker 3: leadership on American politics. Now, this article now has come
- 11:38Speaker 3: out saying that quote, the majority of the National Political
- 11:42Speaker 3: Committee for the Democratic Socialists of America, that is, the
- 11:46Speaker 3: organization's elected governing body all right publicly identifies with or
- 11:51Speaker 3: belongs to quote caucauses that embrace Communists, Marxists, or Marxist
- 11:59Speaker 3: Leninist trade additions. Now, the article argues this represents a
- 12:04Speaker 3: significant ideological shift within the organization's leadership compared with previous years. Now,
- 12:12Speaker 3: for decades, many Americans assume that the term Democratic Socialists
- 12:16Speaker 3: was like a fringe idea, that it was like a
- 12:19Speaker 3: very small number of people in the Democratic Party, nothing
- 12:22Speaker 3: to really worry about. Well, that assumption is now wrong,
- 12:26Speaker 3: because Democratic Socialists now refers primarily to what is a
- 12:31Speaker 3: European style welfare state. Right. It expanded government programs massively.
- 12:37Speaker 3: That's why Democrats like it. Now, the Free Press is
- 12:41Speaker 3: now saying that within the DSA itself, the organized communist
- 12:45Speaker 3: factions have gained increasing influence over the entire Democratic Party
- 12:50Speaker 3: and also over the internal elections and policy directions of
- 12:55Speaker 3: the Democratic Party.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Now.
- 12:57Speaker 3: The article also notes that several caucuses represented in the
- 13:01Speaker 3: leadership now openly describe themselves as not just like communists. Okay,
- 13:06Speaker 3: straight up Marxists, are Marxist Leninists. Others are reporting that
- 13:11Speaker 3: this is a growing role of these factions within the
- 13:14Speaker 3: entire Democratic leadership in general. That's now why you're seeing
- 13:19Speaker 3: so many extremist candidates that are actually running and winning. Now,
- 13:24Speaker 3: this also raises another important question. If the leadership in
- 13:29Speaker 3: this organization has become this powerful, what does that mean
- 13:34Speaker 3: for the Democratic Party in general, Well, it means that
- 13:37Speaker 3: there is chaos within the Democratic Party. They don't know
- 13:41Speaker 3: how to stop the Marxist Leninists from taking over, and
- 13:44Speaker 3: that is what they're doing. Okay, you can identify as
- 13:48Speaker 3: a Democrat, as a as a Marxist, they don't have
- 13:51Speaker 3: a problem with you as a socialist, and I have
- 13:53Speaker 3: a problem with you. If you're a communist, they don't
- 13:55Speaker 3: have a problem with you. But that is the problem.
- 13:59Speaker 3: The fact that the Democrats did not fight this within
- 14:02Speaker 3: their own family, and now it is festered into a
- 14:06Speaker 3: massive cancer. They don't know how to stop it because
- 14:09Speaker 3: now these crazies are actually in charge and they're picking
- 14:14Speaker 3: the candidates that are running.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Now.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Marxism has developed, by the way, by Karl Marx called
- 14:20Speaker 3: for quote, replacing capitalism with collective ownership of the means
- 14:26Speaker 3: of production. They also envisioned what they described as a
- 14:29Speaker 3: classless society.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Everyone's the same.
- 14:33Speaker 3: So governments would then say, all right, we're going to
- 14:35Speaker 3: have policies that say everyone must be equal. Think about
- 14:40Speaker 3: how that changes America. You look at the Soviet Union
- 14:43Speaker 3: under Lenin and Stalin, all right. You look at Malan, China.
- 14:47Speaker 3: You look at Cuba under Castro, you look at Cambodia
- 14:50Speaker 3: all right, under rogue. They all became authoritarian states, right,
- 14:54Speaker 3: and they committed widespread human rights abuses to gain the
- 14:58Speaker 3: power that now the Communis in America are begging for. Historians,
- 15:03Speaker 3: by the way, also say this, find us a country
- 15:08Speaker 3: that has actually flourished under communism, socialism, or Marxism.
- 15:13Speaker 4: It doesn't exist. Now.
- 15:15Speaker 3: You look at Russia, for example, Right now you have
- 15:18Speaker 3: political repression, You've got restrictions on civil liberties, and you
- 15:22Speaker 3: even have mass deaths of their own people. You can
- 15:25Speaker 3: apply that to any other country. By the way, that
- 15:27Speaker 3: socialist communists are Marxists. So why is the Democratic Socialist
- 15:31Speaker 3: Party of America having the success right now? Because they
- 15:35Speaker 3: were not policed or stopped by the Democratic Party. And
- 15:39Speaker 3: that is the heart of why this matters today. Now,
- 15:42Speaker 3: the Free Press also argued this isn't simply a matter
- 15:46Speaker 3: of labels. It contends that communist align causes now run
- 15:51Speaker 3: or play a significant role in shaping the leadership and
- 15:54Speaker 3: the agenda of the left. That is a threat to
- 15:58Speaker 3: American democracy, the American freedom, our constitution. And because several,
- 16:04Speaker 3: by the way, elected officials around the country have now
- 16:07Speaker 3: been affiliated and endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America,
- 16:12Speaker 3: you have to look at them and say, hold on,
- 16:14Speaker 3: how did the Democratic PARTI as a whole and not
- 16:16Speaker 3: get a hold of this?
- 16:17Speaker 4: How do they not stop it? Maybe they didn't want to.
- 16:19Speaker 3: By the way, if you think about the most democratic
- 16:22Speaker 3: elected officials right now in this country, the newest ones,
- 16:25Speaker 3: they are radical socialists and Marxists. The Democratic Party has
- 16:29Speaker 3: not figured out a way to stop them from growing,
- 16:31Speaker 3: including the leadership like Chuck Schumer, you have the rise
- 16:34Speaker 3: of AOC and Mandannie and others like that. And so
- 16:38Speaker 3: even some former DSA members have expressed concerns about the
- 16:42Speaker 3: organization's trajectory.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Let me give you an example.
- 16:45Speaker 3: There was a recent opinion piece by the former DFA
- 16:48Speaker 3: member Jake Altman, and he argued that the organization has
- 16:52Speaker 3: shifted from a broader Democratic Socialist coalition towards one increasingly
- 16:57Speaker 3: influenced by more ideologically rigid Marxists.
- 17:01Speaker 4: And Lennen tendencies.
- 17:04Speaker 3: If they're warning you, and I'm talking about former members
- 17:07Speaker 3: of the board about how radical they become, you know
- 17:10Speaker 3: we've got a real problem now for voters. The larger
- 17:14Speaker 3: question and the lesson may be this, you need to
- 17:17Speaker 3: look at your candidates, right, because this is much bigger
- 17:21Speaker 3: of a problem than basic campaign slogans or even party labels.
- 17:26Speaker 3: All right, you look at the organizations that candidates belong to.
- 17:29Speaker 3: That tells you who they really are. You need to
- 17:32Speaker 3: look at the platforms that they support. By the way,
- 17:34Speaker 3: if you want to see how radical the Democratic Socialism
- 17:37Speaker 3: America are, go to their website, read what they believe in,
- 17:40Speaker 3: and you're going to say, oh my gosh, Ben this
- 17:43Speaker 3: isn't real, and I'm going to say I wish it wasn't,
- 17:45Speaker 3: but guess what it actually is. You can see who
- 17:49Speaker 3: they endorse, and then you know who is a threat
- 17:52Speaker 3: to our freedoms in this country. And these people they're
- 17:55Speaker 3: shaping not only the candidates we get, but they're also
- 18:00Speaker 3: so now reshaping the Democratic Party as a whole. Now,
- 18:05Speaker 3: let me just explain to you how radical I'm saying
- 18:08Speaker 3: they become. You know, AOC the darling of the left,
- 18:11Speaker 3: she's a radical. Well, the Democratic Socialists of America have
- 18:17Speaker 3: now officially pulled their support for AOC, not because she's
- 18:22Speaker 3: too radical, but because they say she's actually too moderate.
- 18:26Speaker 3: The loss of a socialist endorsement by AOC, like, that's
- 18:30Speaker 3: the point where you're like, all right, did hell freeze over?
- 18:32Speaker 4: Let me read their own statement.
- 18:34Speaker 3: The national leadership of the Democratic Socialists of America have
- 18:38Speaker 3: pulled their endorsement of AOC. They cite her pragmatic approach
- 18:42Speaker 3: to party unity, her fundraising for establishment Democrats, and her
- 18:48Speaker 3: careful positioning regarding the war in Gaza as proof that
- 18:51Speaker 3: she had quote moderated, therefore losing their support. Now, this
- 18:56Speaker 3: is who is running the Democratic Party right now. These
- 19:00Speaker 3: are the people that are picking the candidates. And I
- 19:04Speaker 3: tell you this because you need to understand. This is
- 19:09Speaker 3: now where the Democratic Party is. They are radical, they
- 19:13Speaker 3: are extreme, and the majority of them in the Democratic
- 19:17Speaker 3: leadership say they're either a socialist, a Marxist, a Stalinist.
- 19:22Speaker 3: In their approach, all of those things equal one main theme.
- 19:27Speaker 3: They want to destroy America from within. They believe America
- 19:31Speaker 3: is evil. They believe America is a threat to their
- 19:35Speaker 3: belief system, and they want to destroy this country and
- 19:38Speaker 3: rebuild it where they have all the power. And every
- 19:41Speaker 3: one of us is poor and incompetent, and our children
- 19:45Speaker 3: have bad educations, and none of us have any money
- 19:48Speaker 3: to stand up to them. That is their plan. When
- 19:52Speaker 3: they tell you it's their plan, and they put it
- 19:54Speaker 3: on their website, I will say it again.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Believe them.
