- 0:52Speaker 6: It's the first day of the month of August twenty
- 0:56Speaker 6: twenty four.
- 0:57Speaker 1: You hit a little math.
- 0:59Speaker 6: Time the months left in the year, and you're looking
- 1:04Speaker 6: at about one hundred and fifty to fifty three days
- 1:07Speaker 6: to the new year. You didn't even think about that.
- 1:11Speaker 6: That's how close you all to twenty twenty five? And
- 1:13Speaker 6: what does that mean?
- 1:15Speaker 1: They're bad? The shield is ready to go.
- 1:23Speaker 6: I know, I'll let y'all have all your fun with
- 1:26Speaker 6: this base ball and you know Aaron Judd hitting home
- 1:31Speaker 6: runs and yeah, Chase some Tatum winning championshit. But y'all
- 1:37Speaker 6: know what this country is about. It's about the shield.
- 1:42Speaker 6: Big Kenny came in here all giddy. I got up
- 1:48Speaker 6: to turn on the score clock over there for commands. You,
- 1:51Speaker 6: Greg went and plugged it up, looked up. I don't
- 1:53Speaker 6: really like to look at people phone. He all on
- 1:56Speaker 6: jets Gear over there, ordering thing for me for itself
- 2:01Speaker 6: over there on jets Gear. Didn't even know they still
- 2:05Speaker 6: sold jet stuff outside of New York. But obviously Amazon
- 2:09Speaker 6: will just lower themselves to do anything.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Hey, we're talking about the Jets, sir.
- 2:17Speaker 6: Yeah, remember, respect yes, go like three touchdowns last year,
- 2:21Speaker 6: he respectfully, And two of them was in one year, respectfully.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It's the NFL. Though, everybody can't do it.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Everybody can't do everybody can't do that in the NFL.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Not everybody go. I'm saying we there, we're gonna have
- 2:35Speaker 3: to We're gonna have to get credit for that.
- 2:37Speaker 6: So it's that time again. Who you're riding with this year? Remember,
- 2:43Speaker 6: just get one team. Don't be like the bad producer.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I ain't got one team where they just keep flip
- 2:52Speaker 1: flopping based on any reason. Just to move on. What
- 2:58Speaker 1: teams commanding greg Is riding with them.
- 3:00Speaker 6: How about them cowboy again again, Dak Prescott and his
- 3:04Speaker 6: merry men, Jerry Jones trying to put another team together
- 3:09Speaker 6: at eighty five. We will see how far that goes.
- 3:12Speaker 6: And then the bad producer marching and still looking for
- 3:15Speaker 6: Jamal Anderson and the dirty Birds to deliver something please
- 3:21Speaker 6: to the Bens. We will see what Kirk cousins and
- 3:27Speaker 6: see if Kirk Cousins, If Kirk Cousin did anything, he
- 3:30Speaker 6: has to get your tight end going. What's the tall dude,
- 3:33Speaker 6: Mister Pitts, Mister Pitts, slow, mister Pitts.
- 3:38Speaker 3: That's not his name, sir, that's descriptions.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Okay, I thought that's what they had called him. Slow money.
- 3:46Speaker 6: That's a description, Kyle, slow money, Pits, he wears it.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Let's see what he can get.
- 3:51Speaker 6: Out of Pitts this year to get the Falcons down
- 3:55Speaker 6: the field. But football is back at starts tonight. Hall
- 3:58Speaker 6: of Fame game. You forget they switched it around. It
- 4:02Speaker 6: used to be they did all the ceremony and then
- 4:04Speaker 6: they had the game at the end. Now they put
- 4:06Speaker 6: the game at the beginning and then they have the
- 4:08Speaker 6: ceremonies for the Hall of Famers atherte during the weekend,
- 4:12Speaker 6: but the game tonight, which will feature basically nobody you
- 4:15Speaker 6: know unless you're related to them tonight. But the Bears
- 4:20Speaker 6: announced like five days ago that like nine starters aren't
- 4:25Speaker 6: even going to play tonight, and I don't know.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Why, but that's just how we and only eleven starters.
- 4:33Speaker 6: So so Caleb Williams is going to hit the will
- 4:37Speaker 6: not probably not play either, so.
- 4:38Speaker 7: You yeah, he's not playing. It's going to be the
- 4:42Speaker 7: Tyson bagent.
- 4:43Speaker 6: So the first pick of the draft is not going
- 4:45Speaker 6: to play in the first game, but has been deemed the.
- 4:49Speaker 1: King of the world, the starter.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Yes, and we only have three games a preseason to
- 4:56Speaker 6: get you ready for the first game.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Well, they'll have four. Those two teams have four.
- 5:02Speaker 6: You only have three game after yes, to get you
- 5:06Speaker 6: ready because nobody plays this with the last game. So
- 5:12Speaker 6: I need you to get out here. What are we
- 5:15Speaker 6: holding two games?
- 5:16Speaker 8: Then?
- 5:16Speaker 1: What are we holding him for? Though? To protect him
- 5:21Speaker 1: so he doesn't get hurt, so he don't want.
- 5:22Speaker 6: How many, how many years and how many days are
- 5:25Speaker 6: y'all going to use that as the every day I
- 5:28Speaker 6: went out on a football field, even to run sprints?
- 5:32Speaker 6: And to do drills to get in shape for football
- 5:34Speaker 6: with no hitting, I risked myself of getting hurt.
- 5:40Speaker 1: In fact, there is no.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Gauge of when your ACL will tear the worst AC.
- 5:47Speaker 6: The worst injury to have is a non contact injury.
- 5:50Speaker 6: When somebody fall and anybody hit him. You can might
- 5:53Speaker 6: roll the cart and call the dock because something is blown.
- 5:58Speaker 6: I'm just running a route. Ain't nobody they touched me
- 6:01Speaker 6: and I fall on the ground grabbing something That means
- 6:03Speaker 6: I am hurt.
- 6:04Speaker 3: You need to get that little donut out and put
- 6:06Speaker 3: it on the cor blow a wheel.
- 6:08Speaker 6: I thought we wanted to get Caleb going. It's a
- 6:11Speaker 6: long journey. At least get him out there and handing
- 6:13Speaker 6: a couple of balls off.
- 6:14Speaker 1: In real live action.
- 6:18Speaker 7: I mean teams have been doing that for uh, at
- 6:21Speaker 7: least with the Hall of Fame game. I see if
- 6:23Speaker 7: for fears were like no stars or will play and
- 6:26Speaker 7: it's guys you know, the fourth or fit str But.
- 6:30Speaker 6: Those are guys, those are guys that have played in
- 6:32Speaker 6: a game. Right, Caleb Williams has never played in an NFL.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Game, brand new, fresh out to grease. Then I know
- 6:40Speaker 1: some starters, some rookies who came in and.
- 6:44Speaker 6: I'm just saying thirty years ago, because that would be
- 6:46Speaker 6: thirty years ago, right. We played in Green Bay.
- 6:51Speaker 1: The l a.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Rams first freezing game was in Green Bay. I played
- 6:57Speaker 6: as a rookie. The rest Sean Jones with the d
- 7:01Speaker 6: N I played. I got in on the second drive.
- 7:07Speaker 6: So I don't understand this whole myth.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Because we got you to use you, right, That's what
- 7:12Speaker 3: we got you to play for the team. And then
- 7:15Speaker 3: we see later in the season these dudes are raggedy.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I understand that. Just to stop text typing over there,
- 7:21Speaker 1: I understand.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I mean, give me.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I need your vibe over here, baby.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Baby boy, I just want I'm just trying to figure
- 7:27Speaker 3: out what he's trying to text.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Pits now. He's trying to text slow money man.
- 7:33Speaker 9: Was the Jaguars or somebody who drafted a quarterback first
- 7:36Speaker 9: or whatever just in the last ten years in that
- 7:38Speaker 9: quarterback played that in that Hall of Fame game.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm thinking of Joe Burrows.
- 7:42Speaker 6: I thought we cut the down the preseason game basically
- 7:46Speaker 6: to Lord injury, and I just thought, Caleb Williams come
- 7:52Speaker 6: out and least run a drive, throw some quick little
- 7:54Speaker 6: little screen over here. Just to get that out so
- 7:58Speaker 6: we don't have to talk about that next week.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I think, I think just trying to protect them. All right, Well, the.
- 8:07Speaker 6: Olympics is going on hot and heavy each day. A
- 8:11Speaker 6: big Kenny ask me, I just watch I've watched from
- 8:14Speaker 6: handball to field hockey, bad and minting, whatever's on I
- 8:20Speaker 6: just turn and watch that. I don't look for anything specific.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Maybe later in the day, but that first hour that
- 8:27Speaker 6: I wake up, just moving around the room or something
- 8:30Speaker 6: the house, I just watch whatever's on that channel up
- 8:33Speaker 6: for the interest of how much greatness of sport and
- 8:37Speaker 6: things that you don't even you think you know handball
- 8:40Speaker 6: or you think you know the difficulty of some sport
- 8:43Speaker 6: until you watch it and then it's like, wow, you know.
- 8:47Speaker 6: I didn't even that's tough on your back or that's
- 8:50Speaker 6: tough on your knees. Even watched a couple of rugby games,
- 8:55Speaker 6: men and women rugby football, and just watching the whole
- 9:01Speaker 6: having to pitch the ball back, and the quickness and
- 9:04Speaker 6: the size and strength of the men and women. I
- 9:09Speaker 6: forgot the ball was even kind of that big. I
- 9:12Speaker 6: thought I knew it was bigger than a football, but
- 9:14Speaker 6: it's almost like a pillow.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And uh, it's bigger than basketball.
- 9:20Speaker 3: It's it's it's a it's a it's a nice size ball.
- 9:23Speaker 1: It is.
- 9:25Speaker 3: And I played rugby with Southern Miss Rugby Club and
- 9:29Speaker 3: I wouldn't want our.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Club to play those women for the USA. Have you
- 9:32Speaker 1: seen them?
- 9:33Speaker 3: They very fit, very physical, is very physical, slam you
- 9:38Speaker 3: to the ground by your face.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:40Speaker 6: A couple of them have that Derek Henry.
- 9:44Speaker 3: And they putting people like I literally it's her name
- 9:47Speaker 3: ee O, I forget her last name, but she's got
- 9:51Speaker 3: millions of followers on social media and she is a
- 9:57Speaker 3: very physical specimen. I mean picking people up, running them
- 10:00Speaker 3: across the gold line, mushing them in the face, straight,
- 10:04Speaker 3: putting them on their backs, and no pads, no helmets.
- 10:08Speaker 6: USA winning the bronze medal. They defeated Australia. I want
- 10:15Speaker 6: to say for that bronze, they lost the New Zealand
- 10:19Speaker 6: and the announcer I think New Zealand won the gold.
- 10:23Speaker 6: I have to look that up. But whatever team wanted
- 10:25Speaker 6: the gold, they beat the US. But when they was
- 10:28Speaker 6: introducing them, the announcers had me afraid because they had
- 10:35Speaker 6: introduced them like basically, US, you don't even have any
- 10:39Speaker 6: chance they should cancel this game. I was looking for,
- 10:42Speaker 6: you know, the longest yard type right situation where in
- 10:47Speaker 6: New Zealand came out there like robots and Smoke was
- 10:52Speaker 6: already started. They didn't even wait to get on the field.
- 10:56Speaker 6: And I'm talking about they started with a piece of
- 10:58Speaker 6: wood and a twig. They ain't even use matches, right.
- 11:05Speaker 6: They brought original cave Man Smoke to the US and
- 11:09Speaker 6: it was a blowout like and the man kept saying,
- 11:12Speaker 6: this is the greatest team, the greatest female rugby team
- 11:15Speaker 6: on the planet. And if they didn't live up the building.
- 11:18Speaker 6: I was like, oh, y'all, shouldn't even let them play
- 11:21Speaker 6: because you're gonna get somebody hurt.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Test it's a lot of minds. M A h. E.
- 11:26Speaker 3: R s who she is, and she even commented what
- 11:29Speaker 3: you said. They're very physical, how she doesn't look like
- 11:32Speaker 3: the typical female. She's very large, very strong, and it
- 11:37Speaker 3: takes fans sometimes a minute to get comfortable with that
- 11:43Speaker 3: look on a female athlete.
- 11:44Speaker 6: We'll be back with more of the Sports Shock Show
- 11:46Speaker 6: if you if you hear some of the tracks today,
- 11:48Speaker 6: as we go to break and come back from breaking, commanding,
- 11:52Speaker 6: Greg is spinning people that should not perform at presidential rallies.
- 12:01Speaker 6: Regardless of your political affiliation, they should not be performing.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Is that correct, commanche Yes, Okay, then that's that's the

- 15:17Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, Now it's time to present the Jock
- 15:20Speaker 4: of the Day on the Sports Jock Show.
- 15:22Speaker 2: He's taking it to a completely different level this year,
- 15:24Speaker 2: where we highlight an athlete that has taken their game
- 15:27Speaker 2: to the next level.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Spider Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 15:41Speaker 14: Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 1: The person I won't shock us three. I got no
- 15:49Speaker 1: better from Jim.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Walk back to the sport Shock show. I'm the Sports
- 15:52Speaker 6: Shock Dwayne Gandy. That is so funny right there with
- 15:56Speaker 6: the bad producer got on mainly because he's fifty five
- 16:00Speaker 6: years old walking around would make the Trap great again,
- 16:04Speaker 6: Only he would be that old thinking that the Trap
- 16:07Speaker 6: should have ever existed.
- 16:09Speaker 3: And and Sports Shock, I would just like to say,
- 16:12Speaker 3: Trap still doing pretty good. He make it sound like
- 16:15Speaker 3: the Trap them fell off and had to, you know,
- 16:19Speaker 3: pivot into a new career. No, Trap still doing pretty good.
- 16:24Speaker 3: So from what I heard the Trap. From what I heard,
- 16:27Speaker 3: Trap is what the shirt should be saying. Traps down.
- 16:32Speaker 3: But he gonna go along with make the Trap great again.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Come at you, Greg in the building.
- 16:38Speaker 6: Uh. His day will be fill of plane tracks of
- 16:41Speaker 6: people that should not perform at presidential.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Rallies, but they're welcome to come to my show.
- 16:49Speaker 6: This is not a Republican or Democrat thing. This is
- 16:52Speaker 6: just people across the board, right that shouldn't be up.
- 16:56Speaker 6: Since that has been the big topic of the last
- 16:58Speaker 6: couple of days with Vice President Kamala Harris and Meghan
- 17:03Speaker 6: the Stallion performing at her rally here in Atlanta, A
- 17:10Speaker 6: lot of noise out of there. I know Big Kenny
- 17:13Speaker 6: was against it, the Bad Producer was for it, and
- 17:17Speaker 6: Command Garry was against it. So I can see that
- 17:22Speaker 6: and it fits the personality.
- 17:25Speaker 1: You know now. And some thought this Atlanta.
- 17:29Speaker 9: If you're gonna kick off in Atlanta, they should have
- 17:31Speaker 9: balled in the one of Atlanta like she should have
- 17:34Speaker 9: used a lot of or somebody instead.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Okay, well, I differ in.
- 17:40Speaker 3: My perspective from the bad producer in that I'm not
- 17:43Speaker 3: opposed to the artist and their music. I'm opposed to
- 17:47Speaker 3: the artists and their music at a presidential rally.
- 17:50Speaker 6: No, No, that's what we're talking about. The wrong place
- 17:54Speaker 6: for that. That's we're not talking about the artists right,
- 17:59Speaker 6: just said people who should not perform.
- 18:02Speaker 1: At presidential rally. At the presidential rally because.
- 18:05Speaker 6: Could pull up here fall is back, real quick, babroducer
- 18:12Speaker 6: who have the better record this year? The Falcons are
- 18:16Speaker 6: the raiders Falcons. Okay, that's what I like to hear.
- 18:21Speaker 6: That's called pandemonium.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Our online listeners, Antoine Lilly and Jared Lloyd both have
- 18:27Speaker 3: commented this morning.
- 18:29Speaker 1: The only words they said.
- 18:31Speaker 6: Raid us and they play out in Vegas on December
- 18:34Speaker 6: the sixteenth.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Game.
- 18:37Speaker 6: I hope to catch out there just because it's Vegas,
- 18:41Speaker 6: not because of the excitement of watching whoever is the
- 18:46Speaker 6: quarterback for the Raiders that I don't even know play
- 18:51Speaker 6: against the Falcons. For any reason for Vegas, it's a
- 18:54Speaker 6: good reason sticking the landing. Me and Big Kenny been
- 18:58Speaker 6: doing the show so long we both sometimes just have
- 19:04Speaker 6: walk into each other's thoughts. And one of the things
- 19:07Speaker 6: watching the gymnastics of the Olympics, especially, I caught more
- 19:13Speaker 6: of the women with the great Simon Bows and Sunny Lee,
- 19:19Speaker 6: Jordan Chiles and that team who took on the team
- 19:22Speaker 6: goal again did they just run it back? Was sticking
- 19:29Speaker 6: the landing? In today's gymnastics, it seems that the judges
- 19:39Speaker 6: and the sport has decided to kind of erase that
- 19:45Speaker 6: part if you give me enough difficulty, if you raise
- 19:52Speaker 6: your difficulty, I'll erase the part about you sticking the
- 19:57Speaker 6: land then, which was a reverse.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Four of the Olympics twenty years That used to be
- 20:04Speaker 1: the key.
- 20:05Speaker 6: Whatever you do, how long you stay in the air,
- 20:08Speaker 6: how many twists, I don't care, but when you hit
- 20:12Speaker 6: that map, you had to stick the landing. To the
- 20:16Speaker 6: point that phrase became something somebody might say as a
- 20:21Speaker 6: as a reference. Yes, in situations outside of sports, sticking
- 20:26Speaker 6: the landing means you got it right. Yes, So come
- 20:30Speaker 6: on at you, Greg, bad producer. Why is it no
- 20:34Speaker 6: longer needed? There's a lot of double hopping, double stepping.
- 20:39Speaker 6: I don't know that even the great Simon bows on
- 20:42Speaker 6: the vault. I know she does things that no woman
- 20:44Speaker 6: is ever, but she basically wins because of that reason.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I don't think I saw her stick a landing.
- 20:53Speaker 9: I think it's a lot of a lot of sports
- 20:55Speaker 9: are watering down on the rules. You know, there's changes,
- 21:00Speaker 9: like even with the football, basketball, baseball, everybody's making changes.
- 21:06Speaker 9: And you would think that a sport where you have
- 21:09Speaker 9: to judge is like boxing, gymnastics and things, it still
- 21:13Speaker 9: would have to be something would have to from sticking
- 21:17Speaker 9: to making solid contact or doing what you got to
- 21:20Speaker 9: do when you were judge. You have to make still
- 21:23Speaker 9: have to judge them for some kind of way that
- 21:25Speaker 9: the performance is solidified that you did all this work.
- 21:29Speaker 9: But give me something at the end to make sure
- 21:31Speaker 9: that I know that you worked hard enough to get it.
- 21:34Speaker 1: That I mean command you.
- 21:37Speaker 7: I think it's I think it's part of an effort
- 21:40Speaker 7: to be more innovative, especially in gymnastics, like Simon Biles
- 21:46Speaker 7: has done a lot of things that other gymnasts just
- 21:50Speaker 7: simply can't do, and that has hurt her in some
- 21:56Speaker 7: ways as far as like some of the scores that's
- 21:58Speaker 7: that she's gotten. But now because it's an effort to
- 22:03Speaker 7: be more innovative, that they're going to be more lenient
- 22:07Speaker 7: on things like sticking the landing, like, Okay, what kind
- 22:11Speaker 7: of twists did she do or what kind of move
- 22:16Speaker 7: was it? Was it something that we haven't seen before
- 22:18Speaker 7: or something that we know that it's more difficult. How
- 22:22Speaker 7: was that part executed? So it's more important, Like you said,
- 22:25Speaker 7: the importance is placed more on that rather than the end.
- 22:29Speaker 6: Because it used to be framed up more of if
- 22:32Speaker 6: you didn't stick the landing, you didn't really do the trick.
- 22:34Speaker 1: You didn't do the job correctly, right, you know, Like.
- 22:37Speaker 6: Then don't you you're trying to do a three and
- 22:40Speaker 6: a half some assault with a twist, but if you
- 22:42Speaker 6: didn't stick the landing, then you should have stepup to
- 22:45Speaker 6: the two and a half some assault with the twists
- 22:48Speaker 6: kind of mindset. Do it if you can stick it,
- 22:50Speaker 6: but don't it don't counts almost in a sense.
- 22:54Speaker 9: Can I say, like diving, Let's say you do that
- 22:57Speaker 9: three or four twists, but you don't go straight in
- 23:00Speaker 9: the water with the you just do a belly flop.
- 23:03Speaker 3: You do everything new twisting. They still count the splash
- 23:06Speaker 3: as you go in the water.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Against she'll do it. Yeah, well that's what I'm just saying.
- 23:09Speaker 9: This ship, he'll be counted if you don't go in
- 23:12Speaker 9: without the splash everything do?
- 23:15Speaker 3: Was it Mary lou Retton who injured her ankle while
- 23:20Speaker 3: winning the gold but injured it on sticking the landing?
- 23:23Speaker 1: Who was that struck? Carrie structure?
- 23:26Speaker 3: So here that when that happened, everybody was on a
- 23:30Speaker 3: lot of people, and rightfully so we understand that that's
- 23:33Speaker 3: a lot of force coming down on your ankles when
- 23:36Speaker 3: you flip up in the air. You're doing three, you're
- 23:38Speaker 3: traveling at a high speed. And once she injured herself,
- 23:42Speaker 3: people started becoming a little more lenient with that.
- 23:46Speaker 1: She was already she was already hurt.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Well, and so I'm saying, and like you said, Mary
- 23:53Speaker 3: lou Retton, she continued to win and go with the
- 23:56Speaker 3: hurt leg and was making the sticks. And so society
- 23:59Speaker 3: has slowly but surely eroded what we see as being tough,
- 24:04Speaker 3: because that's bullying now to say no, you got to
- 24:07Speaker 3: be tough, en up and get out there and stick
- 24:09Speaker 3: that landed.
- 24:10Speaker 6: So we don't do that anymore. We'll be back more
- 24:13Speaker 6: to the Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 24:16Speaker 15: Oh God, I'm ill off in a freak.

- 27:48Speaker 6: SHOWE on the spot, Shock, Wayne Gandee.
- 27:51Speaker 1: The NBA players for the.
- 27:55Speaker 6: US team dominant in the games they have played. This
- 28:00Speaker 6: is a very interesting arrangement of players, and Steve Kerr
- 28:10Speaker 6: seems to be I guess basically as people have hit
- 28:14Speaker 6: me about it, especially after Jason Tatum didn't play the
- 28:17Speaker 6: other day. But Tyrese Helliburton didn't play either, but nobody
- 28:21Speaker 6: mentioned his name for some reason. Should Steve Kerr gain
- 28:32Speaker 6: any criticism that he doesn't play somebody in a particular game.
- 28:41Speaker 6: Should he go on the court and feel like I
- 28:44Speaker 6: got to play all twelve people?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Is that genuine? Well, this is a thing I've never coached,
- 28:52Speaker 1: but I've always thought that.
- 28:57Speaker 6: Just like.
- 29:00Speaker 3: A principle of a school, the coach has been put
- 29:04Speaker 3: in charge of these people. Everything that relates to these people,
- 29:09Speaker 3: you defer to the coach. Four He's wise, trained, a
- 29:16Speaker 3: stude enough that he know what he doing. That's his team.
- 29:20Speaker 3: You let him run it. He decides who plays, he
- 29:23Speaker 3: decides how long they play, he decides when they come out.
- 29:27Speaker 3: That's always been basketball. I've never I know, fans have
- 29:31Speaker 3: their preferences of who they would like to see play,
- 29:34Speaker 3: but I rarely see coaches get criticized, if ever, because
- 29:40Speaker 3: this dude didn't play tonight. And I just don't understand
- 29:44Speaker 3: how you know, like you said, Tyrese Halliburton didn't play,
- 29:48Speaker 3: but nobody's screaming like, oh, man, you didn't play.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Maybe because he didn't win a championship.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Why are people coming at coach Spurt Steve Kerr in
- 29:59Speaker 6: that way in a game that it was a blowout.
- 30:02Speaker 6: Two guys on the team just didn't get any minutes
- 30:04Speaker 6: this game.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I'm not for sure, Like I said, Kenny, I never really.
- 30:10Speaker 9: It's it's to the point where if you earn those minutes,
- 30:16Speaker 9: not saying just because you you gotta look at like this,
- 30:18Speaker 9: you got so many.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Basically, it's the All Star team. It's some of the best.
- 30:22Speaker 9: The best players are assembled on this team and everybody's
- 30:26Speaker 9: not gonna be able to play in the game plan.
- 30:27Speaker 9: It made Jason Tatum and Halliburton maybe didn't fit matching
- 30:32Speaker 9: up with the opposing team and the plan.
- 30:35Speaker 1: A lot of people you're not in the you're not
- 30:37Speaker 1: in the locker room, you're not on the game plan.
- 30:40Speaker 9: You're not in on a lot of the prevy information
- 30:43Speaker 9: to know why that person was sitting there on the bench.
- 30:46Speaker 6: Command Greg Jola bib and we woke up to day
- 30:49Speaker 6: with the same thing. Jola bibe Uh didn't play yesterday
- 30:53Speaker 6: in the game against South Sudan. Steve Kerr says that
- 30:59Speaker 6: they talked and it was kind of more of South
- 31:02Speaker 6: Sudan speed and Joelo Bid where you know, they basically
- 31:08Speaker 6: have a whole bunch of small.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Forward power forward. They don't really have a center type guy.
- 31:12Speaker 1: They're just moving.
- 31:14Speaker 6: And he didn't play, but that's big Kenny and even
- 31:17Speaker 6: the bad producer alluding to isn't that his job to
- 31:21Speaker 6: kind of I got twelve of the greatest players on
- 31:24Speaker 6: the planet. My job is during this game and the
- 31:27Speaker 6: key as I told people with the Jason Tatum, Kevin
- 31:32Speaker 6: Durant was back not saying Katie is better than Jason Tatum.
- 31:36Speaker 6: That's not the comparison. But each and every game with
- 31:41Speaker 6: these kind of players, somebody's gonna get hot. Kat was hot,
- 31:44Speaker 6: and you're gonna end up sitting over here somebody I
- 31:47Speaker 6: can put your back up in and he might start taking,
- 31:51Speaker 6: you know, more minutes because I'm gonna keep riding a
- 31:54Speaker 6: hot hand until it goes out correct.
- 31:57Speaker 7: But yeah, I mean that that was definitely part of it.
- 32:00Speaker 7: As far as when kd played, and they're also looking
- 32:05Speaker 7: at who you have on your roster and they what
- 32:09Speaker 7: position they play, Like, Okay, there's Jason Tatum, but as
- 32:14Speaker 7: far as a forward position. You have Kevin Durant, you
- 32:18Speaker 7: have bam Adebayo, you have Anthony Davis, you have Lebron James.
- 32:24Speaker 7: You're gonna take one of them out to put for
- 32:26Speaker 7: to put in to get Jason Tatum more minutes. But
- 32:29Speaker 7: you have to consider the matchup. And I think that's
- 32:32Speaker 7: what Kurr is doing. He has to consider the matchup.
- 32:36Speaker 7: But then combined from other things that we see, like
- 32:38Speaker 7: with Embiid, he was fouling a lot. He was so
- 32:43Speaker 7: confused on offense because when playing for Team USA, you
- 32:49Speaker 7: kind of you have to change what you do or
- 32:51Speaker 7: you're gonna be asked to do something more specific than
- 32:54Speaker 7: what you do. Playing for your NBA team. The offense
- 32:56Speaker 7: isn't going to run through you. It may run through
- 32:59Speaker 7: somebody else. You're not gonna get the same shots, the
- 33:01Speaker 7: same touches. You may just come in too. Like when
- 33:04Speaker 7: Kobe played in two thousand and eight, he was ready
- 33:07Speaker 7: to come in and just be a perimeter defender. Whoever
- 33:11Speaker 7: the other team's best guard is that, I'm gonna guard
- 33:13Speaker 7: him and then he end up. You know, they asked
- 33:15Speaker 7: him to score a little bit more, but you're gonna
- 33:17Speaker 7: be asked to play a specific role on Team USA.
- 33:20Speaker 7: It's not just gonna be what you do with your
- 33:22Speaker 7: NBA team.
- 33:23Speaker 6: And there's a specific type player that is made for
- 33:29Speaker 6: the Olympic game with this international style that stands out
- 33:33Speaker 6: more when you look at Bam, you look at lebron
- 33:40Speaker 6: kd that's more. They're very dangerous in that European They're
- 33:46Speaker 6: those unicorns of I'm tall, I'm big, I'm thick, you
- 33:52Speaker 6: know that mixture. I'm not then to get in there.
- 33:55Speaker 6: You know, with the whole I can take the ball
- 33:57Speaker 6: off the rim. It's a game is eight minutes shorter.
- 34:01Speaker 6: I got five thousand instead of six is kind of
- 34:04Speaker 6: more power. That's the same kind of athletes they send
- 34:08Speaker 6: to us, like a Luca right, and a joker. Joker
- 34:12Speaker 6: don't come to you as like a sinner. He comes
- 34:15Speaker 6: to you like a tall small forward really right. So
- 34:20Speaker 6: those guys are more fit to playing that game. Even
- 34:24Speaker 6: Anthony Davis is more of what international His style of
- 34:28Speaker 6: play fits better than even someone like a Steph And
- 34:32Speaker 6: I think part of because you can they don't have
- 34:35Speaker 6: the three second defensive rule and so you could just
- 34:38Speaker 6: crowd the lane like you know, it's different things that
- 34:42Speaker 6: it just kind of just turs certain games.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Do you think that's where it's part of a conversation
- 34:48Speaker 3: and criticism comes from with the American spectator is a
- 34:52Speaker 3: lot of what we're seeing is basketball we're not accustomed
- 34:56Speaker 3: to played in a way that seems a little bit foreign.
- 34:59Speaker 3: We know who plays on the team, that's my team's rival,
- 35:04Speaker 3: we know who he was before he got to the NBA.
- 35:07Speaker 3: A lot of that stuff we followed. But then we
- 35:09Speaker 3: turn on the Olympics and we see these dudes and
- 35:12Speaker 3: we're thinking, why not have my favorite player in not
- 35:15Speaker 3: thinking to ourselves, and he can't match up against this
- 35:17Speaker 3: dude from Angola. You see what I'm saying, that's not
- 35:20Speaker 3: in We're not familiar with that style of play. I
- 35:23Speaker 3: didn't know that they didn't have the three seconds. You
- 35:26Speaker 3: know what I'm saying. That changes a lot. Well, that's
- 35:28Speaker 3: that player and spectator. I consider that person. You're not
- 35:32Speaker 3: a student of the game. If you want to be
- 35:35Speaker 3: a fan of just the one person, you have to understand.
- 35:37Speaker 1: That most nobody's the student of the game.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Nobody's a student of game especially but I'm saying I
- 35:45Speaker 3: mean very few people, no, no listeners, no hold on,
- 35:50Speaker 3: hold on, We've had the influx of international players in
- 35:52Speaker 3: the NBA in the last ten years that has been
- 35:56Speaker 3: a whole a whole lot.
- 35:58Speaker 9: In other words, what I'm saying is the Olympics going
- 36:00Speaker 9: on for a long time for us that we know,
- 36:02Speaker 9: we know how they play the game and how the
- 36:05Speaker 9: game is being played. And you hear a lot of
- 36:07Speaker 9: people around our age and you get these calls from
- 36:09Speaker 9: people that you know that you know this how this
- 36:12Speaker 9: Olympic thing goes. But they're calling in their complaining And
- 36:16Speaker 9: that's all I'm saying is we understand how the international
- 36:19Speaker 9: rules changes from the free throw line to the to the.
- 36:24Speaker 6: But I'm not using me and my knowledge. I'm talking
- 36:27Speaker 6: about the casual and regardless of whether you know the
- 36:29Speaker 6: rules or not. Steve kurt I thought you got as
- 36:33Speaker 6: this is his job. Yeah, that's he shouldn't feel any
- 36:36Speaker 6: pressure of his rotations every time he hits the court,
- 36:41Speaker 6: as though this is some AAU game that paid me
- 36:46Speaker 6: for your kids and I got to get a twelve
- 36:48Speaker 6: get to play today.
- 36:50Speaker 7: We're playing six games maximum they make it to the
- 36:52Speaker 7: gold medal game, and they have played six games total.
- 36:57Speaker 7: And this is a situation where you play the matchups.
- 37:01Speaker 7: You have a versatile roster, but you you just look
- 37:05Speaker 7: at the matchups like what how can we counter what
- 37:08Speaker 7: that other teams doing best? And it may be someone's
- 37:12Speaker 7: not someone's not gonna play.
- 37:13Speaker 9: And then it makes me think bad about Joel will
- 37:16Speaker 9: be saying on paper, you know, the US looks like
- 37:21Speaker 9: if you see the names and stuff.
- 37:23Speaker 1: So I mean, what did he said when he was
- 37:27Speaker 1: when Okay, when we were talking earlier, no one else
- 37:31Speaker 1: was privy to that.
- 37:32Speaker 9: You're going to have to explain, Well, that's what That's
- 37:34Speaker 9: what I'm explaining as far as like when he was
- 37:36Speaker 9: talking about how the players are older on the US
- 37:39Speaker 9: team and when they're not some of them are.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Not as athletic as they used to be.
- 37:43Speaker 9: In on paper, we the US names looks good compared
- 37:47Speaker 9: to the other international teams. But when we play the game,
- 37:51Speaker 9: that's why you see him seeing them have caught up
- 37:53Speaker 9: with us in some manner. But but I'm thinking it's
- 37:56Speaker 9: more or less that Steve Kerr and I'm with he's
- 37:59Speaker 9: doing the matchup. He's looking at what's best for the team.
- 38:02Speaker 9: If I got a group of guys that's gonna run,
- 38:04Speaker 9: Joel and be Hey to do and that's what the
- 38:08Speaker 9: coach are supposed to do. And that's what I'm saying.
- 38:10Speaker 9: That's what I appreciate him for that. I mean, we
- 38:12Speaker 9: should appreciate him for that. All I'm saying is that
- 38:15Speaker 9: the casual fan this is just coming in and complaining.
- 38:18Speaker 9: I mean, you, this is international basketball.
- 38:22Speaker 1: As much as they just want to know why Jason
- 38:23Speaker 1: Tatum didn't play, well, it's.
- 38:28Speaker 7: You go back to the old four team that won
- 38:30Speaker 7: the Brons Lebron, Dwayne Wade, Carmel Anthony. They hardly played,
- 38:36Speaker 7: but this was them coming off their rookie year in
- 38:39Speaker 7: the NBA. SO and and Larry Brown got a lot
- 38:43Speaker 7: of criticism for not playing them, but he's gonna lean
- 38:45Speaker 7: more on He had Tim Duncan and Alan Iverson and
- 38:51Speaker 7: uh Stefan Marberry. He leaned more on the older players,
- 38:55Speaker 7: like that was a really young team, but he leaned

- 45:27Speaker 6: predatory sales tactics to illegally mislead consumers into shelling out
- 45:34Speaker 6: more for tickets, the prosecutors allege in.
- 45:39Speaker 1: A new lawsuit. Okay, and what are those practices up there?
- 45:44Speaker 1: In DC?
- 45:46Speaker 6: Attorney General Brian Schwab claims that in the complaint that
- 45:52Speaker 6: stub Hub is tricking consumers basically by hiding mandatory fees.
- 45:57Speaker 6: And I've been you know, y'all, you just been sent
- 46:01Speaker 6: for yock man. You was right, you was telling us
- 46:03Speaker 6: way back with the connection fee how to hustle.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Just we've been complaining about the feet, what is the
- 46:10Speaker 3: connection feet? The cable already in my house. I'm saying,
- 46:14Speaker 3: what are you connecting? I've been I had cable for
- 46:16Speaker 3: two years before to fight, and now you're telling me
- 46:20Speaker 3: you got to hit me with a connection feet.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Yeah, they hit you with the whole thing.
- 46:24Speaker 6: Renting a car is forty nine dollars and then there's
- 46:28Speaker 6: like forty nine dollars of fees. We had to bring
- 46:31Speaker 6: the car inflation tire feed hold on. Man, I even
- 46:35Speaker 6: got off the problem. You know it's gonna pressure gonna
- 46:36Speaker 6: be lost. How have you predicted that the tires are
- 46:40Speaker 6: going to be low on pressure? And I haven't even
- 46:43Speaker 6: because of our records. Uh, we we have records that pressure.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Was lost, and so there's a fee for that. It's
- 46:53Speaker 1: five yes, And how about I just stop over here
- 46:56Speaker 1: and put a little bit in.
- 46:58Speaker 3: It has to be through our because I was gonna say,
- 47:01Speaker 3: our AI model, Our AI model has shown us what
- 47:05Speaker 3: do they call it? The the algorithm has shown us
- 47:10Speaker 3: that outside air don't go good, and our tires we
- 47:15Speaker 3: got to put our own air into.
- 47:17Speaker 6: But I told you I was gonna fil the tank
- 47:19Speaker 6: up and bring it back. So why is there's still
- 47:21Speaker 6: a three nine.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Fuel.
- 47:26Speaker 7: You did not use our official fuel fuel and that
- 47:31Speaker 7: will cause us to have to do some sort of maintenance.
- 47:34Speaker 1: That could cause some issues. I said, I'm going to
- 47:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to Amma Codo. Now we need to
- 47:38Speaker 1: be we us BP control use. Yeah, well, I'm gonna
- 47:44Speaker 1: go get half from almic cool and half from what
- 47:50Speaker 1: I'm saying. We did Texico a lot, but you know,
- 47:53Speaker 1: you can't really do it like that.
- 47:55Speaker 3: You can't really And that's how it sounds. You ever
- 47:58Speaker 3: asked them about it, because I'm one of those people.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Excuse me, sir, what's the air and the tire fee?
- 48:04Speaker 3: I ain't even left. I had those conversations and then
- 48:06Speaker 3: they well, sir, well what it is is that we
- 48:09Speaker 3: have a special maintenance situation and what and then they
- 48:13Speaker 3: just go sign here and I mean, like what, But
- 48:15Speaker 3: you didn't.
- 48:15Speaker 6: Explain it yet because at first you think you got
- 48:18Speaker 6: the deal they hit you with that three day rental
- 48:21Speaker 6: only forty nine five.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Boy, I'm in the jump on you come back. It's
- 48:26Speaker 1: two and thirty eight dollars. How that happened? I've been
- 48:30Speaker 1: trying to tell my wife I only had the car
- 48:32Speaker 1: three days. Where you been anywhere you've been mc kenny.
- 48:40Speaker 6: You say there has been a lot of Chinese Olympians, yes,
- 48:46Speaker 6: saying that their issue with felling the drug test comes
- 48:51Speaker 6: from hamburger.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Yes, how do they serve there? Hamburger over there? I'm
- 48:57Speaker 1: not giving enough heat, They're eating too rare. I don't know.
- 49:02Speaker 3: But in these twenty twenty four Olympics, there have been
- 49:09Speaker 3: multiple Chinese swimmers dismissed for doping, and each of them
- 49:14Speaker 3: say they tested positive for band heart medication trima tazidine,
- 49:21Speaker 3: but found out that the source was most likely contamination
- 49:25Speaker 3: from a hotel kitchen.
- 49:27Speaker 1: That's what they say, and they had the hamburger.
- 49:32Speaker 3: I don't know how somebody we had a story like that.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Somebody was a boxer who and he had a layover
- 49:39Speaker 3: in Mexico or so, what are you doing with a
- 49:43Speaker 3: band heart medication in your hotel kitchen?
- 49:46Speaker 1: Is what I would want to know. And I'm sure
- 49:48Speaker 1: that IOC is investigating that too.
- 49:50Speaker 3: So you're saying a band heart medication is available in
- 49:54Speaker 3: this hotel's kitchen, and everybody on your team happened to
- 49:57Speaker 3: have the burger that had the stuff on it.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Come on, have you ever had the hamburg you're not
- 50:03Speaker 1: that you're not back to the hamburg No, no, were.
- 50:08Speaker 3: I haven't had a Hamburger in probably about twenty seven years.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of just as weird as don't do that.
- 50:16Speaker 3: I go to park, sir, I've been to a parkienced
- 50:23Speaker 3: those parts.
- 50:25Speaker 1: No, I haven't. I've never had a five story. I've
- 50:29Speaker 1: never had five guys Burger.
- 50:30Speaker 3: I've had their fries, which you could feed actually five
- 50:34Speaker 3: a large fride.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Definitely feed three of us real quick.
- 50:40Speaker 3: But do you think that this hamburger angle is the
- 50:44Speaker 3: most difficult to disprove? And that's why athletes are using it?
- 50:48Speaker 3: Because this is, to our knowledge, maybe the fourth fifth
- 50:51Speaker 3: time somebody has lodged that out.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Can you use that hamburger excuse only anything whatever, whatever
- 50:57Speaker 1: is Probably some of the whatever's into meat must be
- 50:59Speaker 1: into the prescription.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Maybe that's what And see, that's what I'm saying. You
- 51:04Speaker 3: would have to assume and allege a lot of those things.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Now.
- 51:08Speaker 3: I do know that for drug testing in corporate America,
- 51:11Speaker 3: they've started making them more complicated so that they won't
- 51:15Speaker 3: false positive for things like poppy seeds and sesame seeds
- 51:19Speaker 3: and and things like that. Because that used to be
- 51:21Speaker 3: a false positive and people had to be offered a
- 51:24Speaker 3: second chance based on that.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Aw man I ate a bagel. Okay, we'll be back
- 51:29Speaker 1: more to the Sports Shock Show right after this. Manda
- 51:39Speaker 1: a million dollars of month.
- 51:40Speaker 11: So joh't boy Wayne or of the Sports John Show

- 51:49Speaker 23: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on feeling down.
- 51:55Speaker 23: We pull ourselves up by the boots traps. But there
- 51:58Speaker 23: are times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to

- 54:39Speaker 3: Who is the coach for the Bears? Big kidny, it
- 54:41Speaker 3: ain't the Jets coach. I don't know nothing about the

- 54:48Speaker 3: from hometown. But no, I don't know that producer. Who
- 54:51Speaker 3: is the Bears coach?
- 54:53Speaker 1: I mean Matt Naggy. I think I'm correct.
- 54:57Speaker 9: He loves you about four years behind h Yeah, that's
- 54:59Speaker 9: what I say. Us know we got right Raheem in
- 55:02Speaker 9: the atl Right, so nobody knows who's the very coaching now?
- 55:09Speaker 9: But command me? Who is command Let me? I need
- 55:12Speaker 9: to ask you. Make sure you don't say Matt Naggy.
- 55:15Speaker 9: He already said that. It's a Matt, But it's not
- 55:18Speaker 9: Matt Nagy eber flus.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Or e flu. What is he from?
- 55:23Speaker 3: That's a good question. Now, I have no question. I
- 55:27Speaker 3: don't think people have really realized this. Anybody ever remembered
- 55:30Speaker 3: the movie three hundred Yes, Leonidas Leonidis. You remember the
- 55:35Speaker 3: Lord God, the King God, Xerxes. He and Robert Sailor,
- 55:40Speaker 3: same person, the Jets head coach and Xerxes. Same person.
- 55:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna send you the picture. I'm gonna send you
- 55:51Speaker 3: the picture. No, I'm talking about the whole person. He
- 55:55Speaker 3: in his former life, he was Erxy, he was the Lord,
- 55:58Speaker 3: he was the King God Xerxes.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I'm sending. I know we got Raheem, that's all I know.
- 56:03Speaker 1: What does that mean? We're rolling this baby? What makes you?
- 56:08Speaker 6: What makes you so excited about Raheem that that gives
- 56:11Speaker 6: you that punch chan answer answer, He's black?
- 56:18Speaker 1: Okay?
- 56:20Speaker 24: To me?
- 56:21Speaker 1: He talked to so is that the truth he talked to? Scientifically?
- 56:26Speaker 1: Is that the truth?
- 56:27Speaker 3: I mean, that's fifty of it. But you know that's
- 56:30Speaker 3: so you juice. You juiced about your head coach because
- 56:34Speaker 3: he's black, just like the rest of them about kamal He.
- 56:37Speaker 3: They we juiced about her, and I'm juiced about you know.
- 56:41Speaker 1: As we become friends, we're gonna start a thing where.
- 56:48Speaker 3: We learned.
- 56:51Speaker 1: That the comparison thing.
- 56:55Speaker 24: Is not.
- 56:59Speaker 6: Of very good tool to prove your case. People do
- 57:06Speaker 6: that so much. I asked you for one answer. You
- 57:10Speaker 6: go to telling me how the other side or how
- 57:12Speaker 6: somebody else you your head coach. I didn't ask you
- 57:17Speaker 6: anything about Camalo. We were talking about who the bear coach.
- 57:25Speaker 6: But you said but I said, yeah, you didn't know.
- 57:28Speaker 6: I said, I didn't know.
- 57:30Speaker 9: And then you said, just like me, said, he's saying
- 57:34Speaker 9: about black And I said.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I didn't ask you, So what's the other fifty percent?
- 57:41Speaker 1: Because he's a.
- 57:42Speaker 9: Good coach, I mean the fifty he's been in Atlanta,
- 57:45Speaker 9: he's been proven, he's proven himself.
- 57:47Speaker 1: He was our interim coach at one time before he
- 57:49Speaker 1: should have got the job.
- 57:51Speaker 6: So if his first time you wouldn't be as you,
- 57:53Speaker 6: you wouldn't have no enthusiasm for him.
- 57:56Speaker 3: No, I was, I love Brian Smith and coach Quinn.
- 57:59Speaker 3: I didn't ask you about Brian Smith the coach.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Queen.
- 58:01Speaker 6: You just said, half the reason you like this man
- 58:03Speaker 6: is because he's black. Yeah, what I'm saying, that's just
- 58:05Speaker 6: even more. That means that if he was not black,
- 58:08Speaker 6: he would only wouldn't like him. It depends on who
- 58:12Speaker 6: the coach was? I mean, right now, I got right here.
- 58:13Speaker 6: I'm talking about the same person, Broh And if any
- 58:18Speaker 6: NFL team owners am I am?
- 58:21Speaker 1: I lost in the song. I'm saying if any NFL
- 58:25Speaker 1: team owners.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Said that you'd be infuriated if I gave you a
- 58:31Speaker 3: slice of pie and I asked you wasn't good and
- 58:34Speaker 3: you said, well, half of the wise is good.
- 58:36Speaker 6: It is because my mama made it. Does that means
- 58:39Speaker 6: if your mama hadn't made it, it wouldn't have been good.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Hey, I know she a little cleaner than Okay, we

- 59:01Speaker 6: we all met this dude through you, this is your man.
- 59:04Speaker 3: You've been trying to make it my man's for a
- 59:06Speaker 3: long time, but this is your man's.
- 59:09Speaker 1: You're gonna have to just own that.
- 59:11Speaker 6: Since you don't know the coach of the Bears, who's
- 59:14Speaker 6: the coach of the mighty Alabama Criston Tide?
- 59:18Speaker 3: Big Kenny that slipped past me two sir after Nick
- 59:23Speaker 3: Saban left. I thought they just left the position. Oh okay,
- 59:26Speaker 3: so we got some homework this weekend. I guess we
- 59:28Speaker 3: do football season again, and we gotta know the head
- 59:31Speaker 3: coaches of the two BIGGA teams. Now, look, all I
- 59:35Speaker 3: know is Kirby. I was learning their names. I learned
- 59:39Speaker 3: the name of the team and the state they come from.
- 59:42Speaker 3: I thought I was on pace.
- 59:44Speaker 1: This is Rod Tiede. Though you don't know the head coaches.
- 59:46Speaker 1: The tie.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Multi year deal, that's what I thought they were going
- 59:52Speaker 3: to Lane kifferm that they didn't the head coach. I
- 59:56Speaker 3: don't know of Alabama both the year deal. Stevens comment,
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: I know he was Washington's coach last year is either
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: what's her name?
- 1:00:07Speaker 25: Is?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: One of his first last name starts with a K.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: They to get rid of him because he's from the
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: packed ten clue cluck started and ended with a K.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: That's it.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: We'll be back the Sports talk show. Remember command, she
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: bring commands.
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: Greg is bringing the sounds of people that should not
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: perform at presidential rallies.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Today. We'll be back with more than Sports John Show.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: After this. I said that they're gonna come from me.

- 1:00:59Speaker 11: Wayne Amideous comming up next.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: life insurance.
- 1:01:13Speaker 26: When I was twenty five, me and my wife are
- 1:01:15Speaker 26: just getting started with our family and thought we live
- 1:01:17Speaker 26: forever life insurance. Well, what's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:01:23Speaker 26: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:01:25Speaker 26: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:01:27Speaker 26: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:01:29Speaker 26: the insurance informant.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:01:36Speaker 26: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:01:38Speaker 26: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: whether you earn a little or a lot. All you
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Log on today benefits orbills dot Com? That's benefits or
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: bills dot Com?
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: Enough enough, I don't have any Hi share your sucker

- 1:02:28Speaker 6: Can you win me down again?
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: You flank me down?
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Dot Com to win? Come to pet it comes to Mark?
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: Is it just.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it begin.
- 1:02:41Speaker 16: I'm gonna go on the.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Way you make Vegan, Welcome back to this What shock, Shue,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: What shock? Wayne Janey? Good morning tell you out.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: There listening land. It is the first day of August.
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: Welcome to Augus football season for the NFL kicking off
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: starting tonight the Hall of Fame game between the Bears
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: and the Texans.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: They get the season going, the where's the super Bowl?
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I was in New Orleans this Yans were going. We
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: started the road. We're going like that. Yeah, we're going.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: We're I'm saying, just to beat it. Even if we
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: even if we do, our teams don't make it. I'm saying,
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: the sports jot, just Falcons in the in the super Bowl,
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: in the Super Bowl, and we're gonna be on the field,
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: and we're gonna be on the field because we got
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: we got pulled down.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: There in the Dome, don't we. Yes, we do. Yeah,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: we got to do that nation down there. But I
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: don't know if those two teams.
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: To be.
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: I think like with a few years ago, where Falcons
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: fans didn't want the Saints to make the Super Bowl
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: when it was here, it's the same way the other way.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: Well, it was like that a couple of years ago
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: when you remember when they had when the blackout went on.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: We were in the championship game against San Francisco when
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: they had Kaepernick and we lost that game in the
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: and the Dog and one Archer Trich used to be
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: VP of of the Hawks basketball publicly, he just so
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: happened he walked right behind me right after we lost it,
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: and you thought you was coming to New Orleans and.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: That hurt me so bad.
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: Are the Cowboys going to make the playoffs. Playoffs, yes,
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: big Kenny, No, they were Jets.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: Talk about the Cowboys now not going to make the playoffs,
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: just going to make the playoffs. The Jets will go
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: to the super Bowl, sir, They will go to the
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: super Bowl. They are definitely in the Divisional Yes, yes,
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: they will be the Divisional champions.
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: Yes, sir, in the division and championship finals and all that.
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: We it's our year, rahie.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay. So we got everybody going, that's the playoff.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: This's gonna be a happy years, gonna be a very
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: happy year. Everybody's gonna be smiling and all kinds of stuff.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: And at the end of the year, me and Rogers
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: off the Joshua Tree to I'm gonna We're gonna be toga.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: They're not like us in a once we went well.
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: The Olympics started last Friday, so we're almost about halfway
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: through the competition. They should start getting on the track.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Track and field should start tomorrow. The swimming pool has
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: been a delight to watch. Katie Ladecci dominant, arguably the
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: greatest swimmer right there behind Michael Phelps, Kayla Decky just
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: dominating that mile already at fifteen hundred to where by
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: the end she was like fifteen eighteen seconds in front
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: of the next place.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: Did anyone see any of the triathlon? And how after
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: they got out of the sands several of the swimmers
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: were seen throwing up after the swim.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Some of them was in the Thames, right, It's Sands river,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: the Sands.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, the one that they had spent the billions cleaning,
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: and the day before the competition they said out of
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: the water was questionable. But the day at the competition,
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: now it's America waters just fine, and the people jumped
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: in and they swam, and when they finished the swimming
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: leg of the race, several swimmers were seen just vomiting
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: to maybe dehydration or tire.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I mean just part of the.
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: Well, I would imagine you, I guess with for water
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: it was that bad. Good was probably just bearable.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: I know Comanche had mentioned it was one point five
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: billion they put into cleaning that waterway, right, and I'm thinking,
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: I'm just thinking.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Out of the box. Yeah, it went from wearing it's
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: kind of okay, right, I.
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: Think that's what And some people just probably are used
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: to pure water, yes, yes, to the point like, you know, yeah, we.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Passed the test.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: You won't die instantly, but you might develop a mile rash.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying. They have those kinds and
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: if that passes, that's all that they need to present
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: as evidence that the competition can go forward.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I'm saying, we ran the test and
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: it passed, but we're not telling.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: You all the algae or all the pH level is
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: where you should be, but it is passable. And maybe
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: those based on where you were training. You out there
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: at the Colorado Mountain spring fresh water all day, never
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: never been touched, so your body's never had that on it, right, right,
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: So maybe that.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Was some of them. I'm sure. I'm sure that had
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: to do with it.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Because he looked it make me question if he would
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: even be able to continue with the race, but he did,
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: which was phenomenal. But just I still wonder if someone
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: were to develop a serious illness, who covers that?
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: And I wonder after the Olympics that we have seen,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: will they.
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: Maybe because you spend that kind of money, I gotta
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: make it some kind of heavy crime almost for you.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: To go back down there and put anything one five billion.
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: It looked like once they did the one point five,
- 1:08:35Speaker 9: they would have some kind of continuous preventive maintenance to
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: continue to keep it clean so you won't have to
- 1:08:40Speaker 9: spend that much the next time.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Well, forget it. We can keep it clean if you
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: stop replicating in it.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's part of the problem is y'all go
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: down to the river and drink and then throw all
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: of your trash into the river.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: When when when you're drinking next.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: To a trash receptacle, you just thought it was cool
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: to fling the bottle in the river.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: You're in the river. These are some of the things that.
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: Were issues with society societies, even in developing places like
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: the US, the waterways, because the person only cared about
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: where they were. So we down river right and you're
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: deciding that you're going to use the restroom in it.
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: Then it's floating down to our animals or to us,
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: and we're ingesting it. So if I'm spending this kind
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: of money, I don't necessarily I might fence it in,
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: but I definitely know if caught we taxing a lot
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: of money. That's a lot for waterway, And as mc
- 1:09:45Speaker 6: kenny saying, sounds like we only got it kind of
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: we got it passable, right, we got it. When we
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: do this test at nine, y'all can swim. Now if
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: we do it at ten thirty, we might have a
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: different result. The Nigerian a team, what was it the
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: whole Nigerian team you were mentioning, But this was kind
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: of like the.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: Open just the women's basketball team was the only one
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: that was the Nigerian women's basketball team. Yeah, were left
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: off the boats for the opening ceremony, Yes, and they
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: said it was too much given a reason.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: It was too many people already on the boat.
- 1:10:20Speaker 9: And when they got there, when they finally arrived to
- 1:10:22Speaker 9: the boat, which they wore make saying that they drove
- 1:10:24Speaker 9: almost two hours to get there because apparently where the
- 1:10:27Speaker 9: boat ride was and where they're playing basketball is, it's
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: a significant distance.
- 1:10:32Speaker 17: And so.
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: When they finally got there, they just told them say, hey,
- 1:10:36Speaker 9: the boat is full. We can't put you that uh
- 1:10:38Speaker 9: to be over capacity. And they were left off the boat.
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: But they did get their first win or they beat
- 1:10:47Speaker 9: let me look, they did get a win even though
- 1:10:50Speaker 9: they didn't get to get the boat ride, but they
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: did get a rent against I'm not for sure who
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: it was.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Now that sounds about right, but I mean it's that
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: in depth reporting.
- 1:11:04Speaker 9: I was more concerned about them not being able to
- 1:11:07Speaker 9: get on the boat for the opening ceremony.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: That was more Why is that so more important? Winning Well, I.
- 1:11:18Speaker 9: Mean everybody we've seen how everything was. I mean, it's
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: the opening ceremony, the boat rides, it's something totally different
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: than most opening ceremonies. You're walking through it. This was
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: something that you want to be a part of. I mean,
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: those ladies, and they didn't get an opportunity or a
- 1:11:35Speaker 9: chance to do it.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: So but if all things were right and the boat
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: engineer was going by the rule that the boat was
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: feel to capacity, what do you think should have been
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: the move should have had their own boat.
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: From my understanding, they were sharing the boat with Norway
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: and the country in.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: Niger, Niger, Niger, a lot of a lot of Olympic
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: representative countries shared boats in the opening and so and
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: I think there were something that had up to four
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: different countries represented in one boat. So that wasn't a
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: slight against the Nigerians that they didn't have their own boat.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: They again, you stated yourself that this is something we've
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: never seen. So how many boats. Do you think they
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: needed to order? You know, so we got the boats,
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: we've set the schedule, and y'all missed the schedule.
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: And I wonder, I wonder if they were they got
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: there late and maybe the boat person who had let
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: some of the extras on and that's how the boat
- 1:12:50Speaker 6: because you're talking about what it probably was eight ten
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: slots right and then but I've been sitting here, were
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: about to take off, were thinking you're gonna miss it, right,
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: so we just let Oh did you bring your mom
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: and your dad?
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: You know, you ate people. I'm just couldn't.
- 1:13:07Speaker 9: But they did beat Australia just for that, even though
- 1:13:11Speaker 9: they did their first game, the first win for African
- 1:13:14Speaker 9: nation in twenty years. Last time they beat somebody was
- 1:13:17Speaker 9: one of Koreas. But they did beat Australia all the
- 1:13:21Speaker 9: next day. So congratulations to them.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: And now I only have to ask this because you
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: brought us this story, bad producer. Is the reason that
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: you were sensitive to this story is there was some
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: sort of perception that maybe they were being racist against
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: the Nigerian women's team.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Lah I just wondering why that they would not accommodate them.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: But as well, you said you felt like they should
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: have their own boat when nobody else, Well, the largest
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: delegations had.
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: Had their own boats and they shared with like I said,
- 1:13:53Speaker 9: two other countries, and so they should have.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: But they're the Nigerian.
- 1:13:59Speaker 9: Olympic Committee had some kind of way, made some kind
- 1:14:02Speaker 9: of arrangements to make sure that their whole team either
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: get with the country where their whole team could have
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: been on there, or get with.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Their own boat. That's all I was saying.
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: Well, hopefully we'll get some more news of what happened,
- 1:14:15Speaker 6: in particular that they missed the boat or they got
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: their lives. And I've seen things like where people expect
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: and then they say like, Okay, we're not gonna let
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: these eight meals go to waste, so they just give
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: them to whoever they can give them to because they
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: decided you ain't gonna make it.
- 1:14:35Speaker 9: And I have, like you said at this award show,
- 1:14:39Speaker 9: if there's empty seat, we gotta have some seats on
- 1:14:41Speaker 9: the front road.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: We got to put some people to feel it so it.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: Don't look like And I've seen people two miles away
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: from a boat ride that's starting right now, Go how
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: you get to the boat.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: We'll be back Shock Show Right after this, give what
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you say, Short Dog with ug Okay, do you really
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: want to be like me? To speak? Game like Snoopy?
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Don't go away?
- 1:15:07Speaker 11: More of The Sports Jock Show with Wayne Danvidia's dumbing
- 1:15:10Speaker 11: up next.
- 1:15:13Speaker 27: In sitcoms, when someone has a problem, they just blurt
- 1:15:16Speaker 27: it out and move on.
- 1:15:17Speaker 16: Well, I lost my job and my parakeet is missing.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: How is your day?
- 1:15:23Speaker 27: But the real world is different. Managing life's challenges can

- 1:21:15Speaker 1: But a man.
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: That I literally must apologize to because I thought I
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: had already sent him to the Golden Gate, but he's

- 1:21:51Speaker 1: But at ninety.
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: Nine, and I'm gonna check because I still think maybe
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: my computer is running slow and it doesn't have it right.
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: But at ninety nine years old, so old he was

- 1:22:42Speaker 3: Levy saying, I ain't a lie, y'all lying that what
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: Marv Levy saying itself?
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Man, y'all lie Marv Levy. I normally go like on
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: the Wikipedia article, you see the name their birthday and
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you'll see is or was? It says is. So he
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: is still alive. So him, Micky Jacker, Keith Richards, all
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: of them sitting there.
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: Like man, the head of the Buffalo Bills still for you,
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: that loved football, that took the Bills to four Super
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: Bowls in a row in the early nineties, basically from
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: like ninety one to ninety five or something in there,
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: nineties to ninety four they went to the Super Bowl.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: They lost all four. Marv Levy is still alive. I
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: just him. I'm just thinking I was confused.
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: He and the other coach I told you the big
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: apology they do toomorrow. They all you should have saw
- 1:23:38Speaker 6: their look on their face. I ain't apologizing yet. I
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: don't believe I'm gonna mark you wanted to call me.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: DMB, I don't have any of that Mark.
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: If you could, if you could get to a phone.
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: He was born in nineteen twenty five, so if you
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: just get to a phone. He's looking for a true
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: horse and Paul revered right right, he he he need
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: Uh what was the stage coach messenger? I didn't know Marv.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: Levy was still alive ninety nine years.
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: Of an and let's get one hundred mar ninety nine

- 1:27:12Speaker 3: Thousands to put on the back head just back, he's
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: been catch head last said.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: You could ride it.
- 1:27:21Speaker 6: Welcome back to this war shock Shove, this sport shocks
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: wing Againtee. I was reading the article just for you
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: out there. You know, we'd like to bring you a
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: well rounded show about you.
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: Dealing with.
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: That.
- 1:27:35Speaker 6: You know, to live is to die, so at some
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: point the other part of life happens. You know, the
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: only be the only way to be alive is you
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: know at some point you're gonna die.
- 1:27:50Speaker 10: Uh.
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: And reading the article about people and not knowing how
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: long their inheritance, like when you're getting will and things
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: you need to you personally need to set that up
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: to expedite some of the issues and the cost. Just
- 1:28:11Speaker 6: thinking that it's automatic and it will just flow not
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: only takes time for your loved ones, but also might
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: still cost them a couple of bucks of what you
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: left them if it's not just done. And I know
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: a lot of people when they have children and get
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: a little older, they don't want to see it like
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: that because it seems like you're signing you think you're
- 1:28:39Speaker 6: gonna die right as you sign your name at the end.
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: And I don't know right or wrong if that's true,
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: but I doubt that that's right. You know when it's
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: gonna happen. But they was just talking about costs, and
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: it's taking longer to get that inheritance to whoever you
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: want to leave it to. You're leaving it in this
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: open situation, right, right kind of situation, just passing that along.
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: We're talking about it more and more, taxes and costs.
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: And a lot of people just assume that my proximity
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: of relationship will be enough to prove that I am
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: the rightful owner of these things. And we know because
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: of cases that we've seen, people have multiple children, They
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: may have ex wives that they never really divorced, They
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: may have family that nobody actually knew about come and
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: contest these situations and drag them out for sometimes almost decades.
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: Yes, and that was just it, just passing that alone.
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: If you've at least reached Kenny's age, my age, bad producer,
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: and you've been blessed to get that far in life.
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: As we learned, one of our great friends of the show,
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: mss Erica ash Yes, passed away a couple of days ago.
- 1:30:00Speaker 6: Been around Hollywood a long time, was on Broadway. That's
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: when I first met her. She was on Broadway, comedian,
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: a bright, happy spirit. When you put in a room,
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: you can run that mouth. Now she can keep a
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: conversation going.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: That's why I love it.
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: She wasn't backing down because you know, she and I
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: used to go back and forth, and she she always
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: had something to come back with.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: I was impressed with her gift for gas.
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: She could talk it now and so just and that
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: happened about four days ago. I lost her battle with
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: cancer at forty six years of age. So I don't
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: think that, you know, sometimes we forget I think because
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: people we don't really ever look at the numbers. So
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: we have this idea that life is going to be
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: like mar Levy. Yeah, and not really realize. I rave
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: about that because that's so rare that the one or
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: two cases that you might come by, you start realizing, Man,
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: only one person my whole family lineage live that long,
- 1:31:13Speaker 6: you know, like that's a rare thing to say, ninety nine,
- 1:31:16Speaker 6: ninety nine and then years of age. With her passing,
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: it put me. I think anytime someone passes, especially what
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: we consider that young, it puts you face to face
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: with your own mortality. And just like we were saying
- 1:31:30Speaker 6: about Marv Levy, had had I passed away at her age,
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: I'd have been gone eleven years already. You see what
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: I'm saying.
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: That's that was young in my opinion for someone. But
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: life will life, don't. You don't get to dictate what
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: happens to whom, and so we just got to be
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: present and grateful.
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: So rest in peace, Erica. You won't be forgotten. Just
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: you jumped right there with my man, and well, I
- 1:32:06Speaker 6: just always have thoughts about him all the time. Lady
- 1:32:11Speaker 6: T's husband. Yeah, yeah, Anthony, say Smith, people that part
- 1:32:19Speaker 6: of this journey that we've had over the last eleven
- 1:32:22Speaker 6: twelve years.
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: Intimate parts of that journey.
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: And then for them to all of a sudden like wow, yeah,
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: like you know, yeah, when you sent me the text, man,
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: I was I thought.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: I just was like I went out and saw it.
- 1:32:37Speaker 9: All I can say is thank you for introducing her
- 1:32:40Speaker 9: to me like fourteen, twelve, thirteen years ago, and she
- 1:32:43Speaker 9: came in and man, you're talking about just two spirits.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: I mean, and she loved the Lord.
- 1:32:49Speaker 9: She always told I mean, she always trust God, twitty
- 1:32:53Speaker 9: whenever I see her anywhere out in Atlanta. After getting
- 1:32:56Speaker 9: introduced through the sports Jock and mutual friends, man, and.
- 1:33:00Speaker 6: She was.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: You know, Erica ash for you it might not. She
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: was a comedian actress.
- 1:33:07Speaker 6: She was on Survivor's Remorse if you want to put
- 1:33:10Speaker 6: her in some context of a sports show, that basketball
- 1:33:14Speaker 6: show that Lebron James and Maverick Carter I think maybe produced.
- 1:33:18Speaker 6: That went about three or four seasons.
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: Yes did.
- 1:33:21Speaker 6: She played the main character, Chuck sister in the show.
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: So that was the connection with friends, And she came
- 1:33:31Speaker 6: on several times on our show. Uh. And it was
- 1:33:34Speaker 6: just a delight in one of those people to set down.
- 1:33:37Speaker 6: And a lot of times when you bring someone new,
- 1:33:40Speaker 6: you think you're gonna have to walk them through but
- 1:33:43Speaker 6: she was already ready for Big Kenny.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: And she stepped back from the like she had already
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: and no, and that was rare. We talk about how
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: you know, man, there's a lot of people can't have
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: this south seat. He thought he was gonna get on
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: a subject that she was gonna.
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: Shy away away from. And a couple of times had
- 1:34:01Speaker 3: me on some come on, man, let's go to something else.
- 1:34:04Speaker 3: Let's talk about something else. You're making me on coming.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: I'm saying, now you brought it up. Now you keep
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: saying that. And she was that quick and that witty.
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: And I'm a misser, man.
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: So I'm a misser. And as I say, you do
- 1:34:20Speaker 6: learn that you're just not here. Live a life where
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: you're just not here. But people continue. It's hard to
- 1:34:27Speaker 6: watch your basketball game. That's what I was saying with
- 1:34:30Speaker 6: our great friend Lady T. Her husband passed away a
- 1:34:34Speaker 6: couple of years ago. Think me about two years, two
- 1:34:37Speaker 6: years coming here. Just anytime I walk into State Farm,
- 1:34:42Speaker 6: I'm looking for six so.
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: I can get on him.
- 1:34:45Speaker 6: It's a bad call. You ain't gonna call that six.
- 1:34:47Speaker 6: You're just gonna act like that's not.
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: I would love being at home and it used to
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: be quick with that, that that whistle, that tech too.
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: Just let you talk to him any kind of way.
- 1:34:56Speaker 3: I would love watching he was and telling people like,
- 1:34:59Speaker 3: hey man, not they'd be like, who the point got
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: no man the referee. And that's another thing. So Anthony Brown,
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: thank you, sir.
- 1:35:08Speaker 9: I won't say thank you too for introducing me to
- 1:35:10Speaker 9: Anthony Brown, because not only for that human lady me
- 1:35:13Speaker 9: being an official, when you got somebody like that on
- 1:35:17Speaker 9: that level and you could call and talk to them
- 1:35:19Speaker 9: and they can give you knowledge even though I'm doing
- 1:35:21Speaker 9: high school, but he would he would never he would
- 1:35:24Speaker 9: always twitter what you got this? How you should have
- 1:35:26Speaker 9: handled that? And that's I appreciate you for that. Two
- 1:35:29Speaker 9: sports jockt like a lot of this stuff. Man, it's journey.
- 1:35:34Speaker 3: Knowing Anthony Brown helped me put some dudes kind of
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: in their place. One night, I was doing a comedy night,
- 1:35:41Speaker 3: walking into the restaurant getting ready to do and these
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: dudes were sitting there with these books out.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: Hey man, what y'all doing? Wait?
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: You know you you don't want to know about well
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: what is We're NBA referees And I was like, oh,
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: official NBA referees and they were like, yes, we actually
- 1:35:57Speaker 3: worked for the NBA, sir. And I was like, wow,
- 1:36:00Speaker 3: y'all know Tony Brown. And they were all like, mister Brown,
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: yes we all know. And I was like, that's my boy.
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: Go get my bags. Lame Dion sanders Son.
- 1:36:11Speaker 6: Shiloh is being accused of trying to avoid responsibility in
- 1:36:15Speaker 6: that bankruptcy case that is on him. Remember after the filing,
- 1:36:23Speaker 6: he was it's eleven million dollars, it's up there, and
- 1:36:30Speaker 6: then shot Shiloh win and foul bankruptcy, which is the
- 1:36:36Speaker 6: typical way in which business. You got to have things
- 1:36:39Speaker 6: like business under them to try to I don't know
- 1:36:42Speaker 6: how that avoids I don't know, so I don't know
- 1:36:45Speaker 6: enough about that political ram of how that works the process.
- 1:36:49Speaker 6: Does that slow it down? Does that only make you
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: responsible for a certain percentage when a ruling is put
- 1:36:55Speaker 6: against you.
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: Someone explained to me that it allows you the opportunity
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: to restructure. So say I owe you seven dollars, I
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: declare bankruptcy. Now I can go back and go, look,
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: I can give you a dollar fifty and that'll squash it.
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: And that's what filing bankruptcy. It's not saying that I'm
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: completely insolvent. It's just saying that I'm not able to
- 1:37:18Speaker 3: meet my obligations without causing myself some sort of hardship.
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: So that's how it was explained to me.
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: So, you know, I might have thirty seven million dollars,
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: but giving you nine gon't hurt.
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: So I can't do that now.
- 1:37:36Speaker 24: In that.
- 1:37:38Speaker 6: My filing of eleven million dollars continues as you because
- 1:37:41Speaker 6: he will be in the NFL most likely.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh yeah, those kinds of things.
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: Usually that restructuring means you can pay this amount now,
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: but we won't all love it. So when your financial
- 1:37:53Speaker 3: situation change, we change the agreement and the structure.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: So you know, so who else?
- 1:38:01Speaker 6: So the young the gentleman, that one open shallow have
- 1:38:05Speaker 6: a great season out there wearing his jersey shallow shirt
- 1:38:09Speaker 6: on you, I say, he out there.
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: With a shallow jersey on go shillow go signing everybody
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: like man, they cut your ops.
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: Yes, we'll be back more. A sports doc show right
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: after this.
- 1:38:20Speaker 11: Saying well and not a word here, what you doing that?
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: Then put you know all that? But you know, ay,
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: I know all about the don't bowl.
- 1:38:35Speaker 11: Wayne Born of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dandy. Yes,
- 1:38:39Speaker 11: coming up next.
- 1:38:41Speaker 22: Are you prepared for an emergency or disaster? Because it's
- 1:38:44Speaker 22: not a matter of if, but when. Don't find yourself saying.
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: When the storm rolls in, my time to find a
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: pet friendly evacuation center will have run out.
- 1:38:54Speaker 18: The scorching heat way. Believe me, powerless to cool my insulin.
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: I'll face a hurricane without METS. Now that's a tough
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: pill to swallow.
- 1:39:02Speaker 22: Let's prepare so we all have a better story to tell.
- 1:39:05Speaker 22: Get started at ready dot gov. Slash Older Adults brought

- 1:39:23Speaker 29: So when you say you'd never leave your child in
- 1:39:25Speaker 29: a hot car, no, it can happen. Cars get hot fast,
- 1:39:29Speaker 29: and kids can be at risk in temperatures as low
- 1:39:32Speaker 29: as sixty degrees fair night.

- 1:39:38Speaker 16: Brought to you by NITZA and the AD Council.

- 1:39:55Speaker 1: I do with all these coals?
- 1:39:55Speaker 16: Don't just toss them out? Put them in a metal
- 1:39:58Speaker 16: container because those embers can start a wildfire.
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: I understand the stakes are high.

- 1:40:41Speaker 1: even big Candy, This what shock shue? This what shock
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: winge Candy? Good morning to you. Interesting story coming out
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: of Paris this morning.
- 1:40:55Speaker 6: A Money Khalif, one of two female Olympic boxers disqualified
- 1:41:01Speaker 6: from the twenty twenty three World Championships after failing gender
- 1:41:07Speaker 6: eligibility tests, got in the ring against opponent Angela Karnni
- 1:41:18Speaker 6: Karini stopped fighting after forty six seconds.
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: In the bout.
- 1:41:26Speaker 6: Now they are trying to and this is I guess
- 1:41:28Speaker 6: just happening. They're trying to figure out why. Some think
- 1:41:36Speaker 6: maybe she the punch she got punched in the nose,
- 1:41:41Speaker 6: and shortly afterwards says she didn't want to fight anymore,
- 1:41:47Speaker 6: as I think that Kenney was explaining a money Khalif
- 1:41:53Speaker 6: is a transgender boxer boxer. Yes, so easily. Karini had
- 1:42:01Speaker 6: that anxiety, yes, going into the match and maybe thought
- 1:42:09Speaker 6: she could accept it until she.
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: Got hit right and didn't realize, Man, I'm fighting a dude,
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: plain and simple, I'm fighting dude.
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: I mean, that's no laughing. I'm not trying to be humors.
- 1:42:25Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:42:26Speaker 6: I mean, you're not wrong, No, no, no, no, you're
- 1:42:28Speaker 6: not wrong for the humor of it, because that is.
- 1:42:30Speaker 6: But I'm saying, I like to put my shoes on,
- 1:42:33Speaker 6: just like a normal human. I put my try to
- 1:42:36Speaker 6: put on those shoes, and I can easily see I
- 1:42:43Speaker 6: didn't want to really do this in the first place.
- 1:42:46Speaker 6: I had this anxiety of.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: How this was going to go. This ain't swimming and
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: this ain't tracking for you.
- 1:42:57Speaker 6: Mike Tyson used to always say, you know, everybody got
- 1:42:59Speaker 6: a plan into the get hit ten, to get punched
- 1:43:01Speaker 6: in the mouth, and maybe the sting of it.
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: Could have just been an ounce more than I used
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: to used to. Come on, man, that was a twenty
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: five year old male punch.
- 1:43:17Speaker 6: Totally dissolved the bubble I had put around trying to
- 1:43:20Speaker 6: harness that.
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: You were just a boxer, were of just a box
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: and that's not and this is.
- 1:43:27Speaker 6: What forty six seconds in, she just stopped fighting, didn't
- 1:43:30Speaker 6: get knocked down.
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: No, or y'all can have this. And this is what
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: I've been waiting for, been waiting for them, this is
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: what I've.
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: Been waiting for because we have seen the insertion of
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: transgender athletes into women's sports in track and field, we've
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: seen it in swimming, and in both those cases, the
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: transgender athlete was the champion, and we thought about the
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: muscle groups and how unfair that is, and we asked
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: what would that be like in the contact sports. And
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: now we see this is a twenty five year old
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: transgender athlete who was born male boxing a female.
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: In his weight class.
- 1:44:10Speaker 3: And she has said, as an Olympic boxer, this ain't
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: somebody he pulled out of the local gym. This is
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: an Olympic caliber boxer that has said, nah, this is
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: this ain't what I need right now.
- 1:44:24Speaker 6: It was a well to weight division fight, so it
- 1:44:28Speaker 6: was one hundred and forty. It was scheduled for three
- 1:44:33Speaker 6: three minute rounds in the Olympics, and the Olympics no longer.
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: Goes with the head gear. Yeah, it's a choice this year.
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: I mean, it's not a choice. Is it a choice
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: or is it?
- 1:44:47Speaker 7: I knew that the men were no longer doing headgear, okay, okay,
- 1:44:51Speaker 7: maybe the women were.
- 1:44:52Speaker 6: The women are okay, you might be right. I know
- 1:44:54Speaker 6: when I saw the men fighting the other they didn't
- 1:44:56Speaker 6: have on any okay gear, so I thought that was
- 1:44:58Speaker 6: the universe.
- 1:44:59Speaker 1: So it's completely not a choice. It's just this man
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: no headgear, no headgear, Okay. But in this case, I think.
- 1:45:09Speaker 6: We're all agreeing that we can see why this person,
- 1:45:13Speaker 6: Angela Karini.
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: Yes, have wanted to. And this is what was interesting
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: to me.
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: The IOC, which is the International Olympic Committee, has let
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: every sports governing body dictate what qualifies them to compete
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: in the Olympics. The IBF, which is the International Boxing Federation,
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: said that this boxer did not qualify. The IOC went
- 1:45:40Speaker 3: out and sanctioned its own boxing federation for the Olympics,
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: who did qualify her and a Chinese boxer. So there
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: are two transgender boxers fighting in the twenty twenty four
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: women's boxing division.
- 1:45:56Speaker 6: And we have reported on the show in twenty twenty
- 1:45:59Speaker 6: four of different like soccer matches on the high school level,
- 1:46:06Speaker 6: basketball on the high school level with parents or teams
- 1:46:11Speaker 6: have just they went to the moment and then they
- 1:46:16Speaker 6: walked off the court. And it's one team in wrestling, Yeah,
- 1:46:21Speaker 6: you've seen the one.
- 1:46:23Speaker 9: Team in West Virginia is being sued now just because
- 1:46:26Speaker 9: they left. The reported on them because they left. Now
- 1:46:29Speaker 9: they're being sued that school and the team.
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: So it's.
- 1:46:35Speaker 9: Like you say, man, I've been waiting on that point
- 1:46:38Speaker 9: where on the physical part of a sport like boxing
- 1:46:40Speaker 9: or something, and.
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: And that and that was the part like last week
- 1:46:46Speaker 6: when we were talking about when I say direct yes
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: competition versus just competition, right right, that that angle, just
- 1:46:57Speaker 6: that little change where there's somebody trying to stop you. Yes,
- 1:47:02Speaker 6: not just next to you, but actually in front of you.
- 1:47:05Speaker 6: And if this was the first time we could go,
- 1:47:11Speaker 6: but this, we've seen this where people just are not
- 1:47:14Speaker 6: going to there's some people who's willing to just let
- 1:47:17Speaker 6: the fight or the match, let you win.
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: Concede what is the word they typically use when they.
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: Forfeit, right, right, Now what if she was unwilling to
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: quit fighting and got her nose broken or got knocked
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: into a coma. Who would be responsible for her having
- 1:47:36Speaker 3: been put in that situation?
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: IOC, IOC. The blame would come to the io C.
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: But the IOC didn't sanction this. Remember the Olympic say, whoever,
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: whoever was the governing or body that that allowed okay,
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: and if I was her, I would.
- 1:47:56Speaker 7: Charges to the i b F said no, But then
- 1:48:00Speaker 7: the Olympic Committee had their own yes, and they said yes,
- 1:48:04Speaker 7: So it would fall on the Olympic Committee along with.
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: Whoever that national governed body who approved it.
- 1:48:11Speaker 6: Yeah right, we'll be back more than Sports Jock Show
- 1:48:13Speaker 6: right after, like me Daddy from the street.
- 1:48:17Speaker 16: So he move loke a right that might like harryo
- 1:48:20Speaker 16: Key on the kind of.
- 1:48:21Speaker 17: Three Day.
- 1:48:26Speaker 11: John Bowl, Wayne Born of the Sports Jock Show with
- 1:48:29Speaker 11: Wayne Dantis.
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: Dumb enough.
- 1:48:30Speaker 30: Next, it's four am Monday and you're literally sucking baby
- 1:48:37Speaker 30: snot through a tube because she's congested.
- 1:48:39Speaker 1: The man, that's love and if.
- 1:48:41Speaker 30: You love her that much, love her enough to make
- 1:48:43Speaker 30: sure she's buckled in the right car seat. To make
- 1:48:46Speaker 30: sure your child's in the right seat for their age

- 1:49:02Speaker 2: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:49:08Speaker 2: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: life insurance.
- 1:49:13Speaker 26: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:49:15Speaker 26: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:49:17Speaker 26: Life insurance, Well, it's the last thing on my mind.
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:49:22Speaker 26: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:49:24Speaker 26: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:49:26Speaker 26: survive without me. That's what I'm made an appointment with
- 1:49:28Speaker 26: the insurance informant.
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: security no matter what stage.
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: Of life you're in.
- 1:49:35Speaker 26: Now that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:49:38Speaker 26: leave my family with bills or benefits.

- 1:49:42Speaker 2: whether you earn a little or a lot. All you

- 1:49:47Speaker 2: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: Log on today Benefits Orbills dot Com. That's benefits or
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: bill dot com. Hi, we're the Goo Goo Dolls. We're
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: fortunate that our daughters have what they need to grow
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: and learn, but that isn't the case for nearly thirteen
- 1:50:08Speaker 2: million kids in the US that struggle with hunger.
- 1:50:11Speaker 31: Child in hunger is a heartbreaking reality that Feeding America
- 1:50:14Speaker 31: is working to change. Each year, the Feeding American network
- 1:50:17Speaker 31: of food banks rescues billions of pounds of good food
- 1:50:19Speaker 31: that would have gone to waste and provides it to
- 1:50:21Speaker 31: families and children in need.
- 1:50:23Speaker 12: You can help kids in need in your community by
- 1:50:25Speaker 12: visiting Feeding America dot org, brought.
- 1:50:28Speaker 16: To you by Feeding America and the ad Council.

- 1:50:39Speaker 24: Now it's time for a school board when we put
- 1:50:42Speaker 24: a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle
- 1:50:47Speaker 24: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:56Speaker 3: It is and I is, and I.
- 1:51:00Speaker 32: I mean yeah, I've been moving Constano Trubb O and

- 1:51:12Speaker 32: over me, you know how like you know when you
- 1:51:15Speaker 32: love and on me?

- 1:51:19Speaker 6: Wayne Againdy once again. Hall of Fame game tonight the
- 1:51:23Speaker 6: Chicago Bears and the Texans Houston Texans doing battle up
- 1:51:30Speaker 6: in Canton for the Hall of Fame game. Hall of
- 1:51:33Speaker 6: Fame activities are this weekend. I think they just wanted
- 1:51:38Speaker 6: to get the teams out of there. That's why the
- 1:51:40Speaker 6: kind of switched it around. Yeah, and you know, and
- 1:51:44Speaker 6: there used to be festivities and inductions and then they
- 1:51:47Speaker 6: would play the game.
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: Now it's and who's getting inducted this year? Hard for
- 1:51:51Speaker 1: me to remember who.
- 1:51:53Speaker 7: I can't tell you that I know Andre Johnson because
- 1:51:56Speaker 7: they have they will have two teams that they're having
- 1:51:59Speaker 7: somebody associate with them being inducted, So Andre Johnson.
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: Who would be from the Bears?
- 1:52:03Speaker 7: I think it's Julius Peppers, but he was he played
- 1:52:07Speaker 7: more with Carolina, didn't he He did play with the
- 1:52:11Speaker 7: more than he did.
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: With the Bears.
- 1:52:14Speaker 6: But we'll see, we'll talk about it on Monday who
- 1:52:16Speaker 6: got inducted. I'm quite sure. Once we see the list,
- 1:52:19Speaker 6: it just pop up super quick. Great great segment on

- 1:52:35Speaker 6: that new Eiffel Tower strand everybody was trying to see
- 1:52:40Speaker 6: what did they order up?
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: It was called Louis the Eiffel Tower strands.
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: What it was Louis Biffel Tower. Yeah, is a hybrid,
- 1:52:50Speaker 3: you know I'm saying. And we ain't got to do
- 1:52:52Speaker 3: no scientific stuff. Give me a little of that Louis.
- 1:52:55Speaker 3: Give me a little of that Eiffel Tower. We crumble
- 1:52:58Speaker 3: it up together. What you think Snoop for shizzle? My
- 1:53:01Speaker 3: dizl all right there cal Martha, you know she eighty seven.
- 1:53:06Speaker 6: They were swimming. Michael Phelts was trying to show Snoop
- 1:53:10Speaker 6: some some different strokes in the pool.
- 1:53:13Speaker 3: Donny Brown contacted me, one of our loyal listeners, good
- 1:53:16Speaker 3: friend of the show, to make sure that I took
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: note of Snoop's robe.
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: Did you see snoops swim.
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: Rope the red, white and blue with the Snoop symbol
- 1:53:26Speaker 3: of come on man, you take America to a brand
- 1:53:30Speaker 3: new place.
- 1:53:31Speaker 6: You really do, bick Kenny. You had a list of
- 1:53:34Speaker 6: the countries. Yes, that are and remember this year the
- 1:53:38Speaker 6: Olympic themselves are paying gold medal winners. I did not
- 1:53:45Speaker 6: know that outside the countries have always paid a certain amount.
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: Right now.
- 1:53:52Speaker 3: This story that was reported by CNBC says that while
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: the International Olympic Committee does not give out prize money
- 1:53:58Speaker 3: for winning medals, several countries do reward their athletes with
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: metal bonuses.
- 1:54:03Speaker 6: The number one. Then we talk about that DIOC was
- 1:54:08Speaker 6: paying for medals. Then we talk about that back in May.
- 1:54:11Speaker 1: I thought that they were going to make some sort
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: of well did they change their mind? We were talking
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: about this was the first year they were going to
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: pay that they were first. I think it was for
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: certain sports. Oh, it's just a certain sports.
- 1:54:22Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:54:22Speaker 1: We were talking about track events, right, yeah.
- 1:54:25Speaker 7: So it's not for all events, just for from from
- 1:54:29Speaker 7: the Olympic Committee, not all events.
- 1:54:32Speaker 3: And they listed fourteen countries and of the fourteen countries,
- 1:54:35Speaker 3: Hong Kong was number one or gold medal. They paid
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: seven hundred and sixty eight thousand, silver, three hundred and
- 1:54:41Speaker 3: eighty four and bronze one hundred and ninety two. The
- 1:54:45Speaker 3: United States is number ten and for the goal thirty
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: eight thousand, for the silver twenty three and for bronze fifteen.
- 1:54:56Speaker 3: So that is a drastic Well see this is the
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: list I was looking at.
- 1:55:01Speaker 9: I don't even see the US in the top ten
- 1:55:05Speaker 9: because it's like saying, you got Italy paying one hundred
- 1:55:09Speaker 9: and ninety six thousand, you got Ukraine playing one hundred
- 1:55:12Speaker 9: and twenty five thousand.
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: But in the scope of that, you do still have
- 1:55:18Speaker 1: to add in.
- 1:55:22Speaker 6: Other countries outside the US still embrace and love their
- 1:55:29Speaker 6: Olympic athletes. Yes, as they did that the US did
- 1:55:35Speaker 6: fifty years ago. Right that what you were, You were
- 1:55:38Speaker 6: an American hero with Olympic success. That is kind of faded.
- 1:55:47Speaker 6: While the other sports have grown in our country, a
- 1:55:53Speaker 6: lot of other things have faded. You used to quickly
- 1:55:56Speaker 6: be able to tell who was the fastest man in
- 1:55:59Speaker 6: or who did the flow Joe Carl Lewis. Now you asked,
- 1:56:04Speaker 6: probably the casual even sometimes for us, we're not always
- 1:56:07Speaker 6: in the loop of the name of it.
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: You know, it comes around like the Noah Lyles.
- 1:56:14Speaker 6: But if you have said that name, I mean maybe
- 1:56:15Speaker 6: two years ago, I wouldn't have instantly polled to my
- 1:56:19Speaker 6: head right right, whereas.
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: It used to have.
- 1:56:22Speaker 6: I'm old enough to remember Olympic heroes used to have
- 1:56:25Speaker 6: a certain more you know, Caitlyn Jenner. Yes, who would
- 1:56:30Speaker 6: have been Bruce at the time.
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: I'm always.
- 1:56:33Speaker 6: Confused on how to say that because at that because
- 1:56:36Speaker 6: you're saying Bruce because that's who would have won at
- 1:56:38Speaker 6: the time, But you have to say Caitlyn.
- 1:56:42Speaker 7: I've looked at the at the the records now and
- 1:56:45Speaker 7: it says nineteen seventy six Caitlyn Jenner.
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: Okay, they've changed that part back there too.
- 1:56:51Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: I don't agree with that. I mean, do y'all and
- 1:56:54Speaker 1: for you just listen. I was not trying to be respectful.
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: I'm saying I don't agree with it because he won.
- 1:57:00Speaker 6: As when I went to I always talk about one
- 1:57:03Speaker 6: of the best basketball players I ever saw when I
- 1:57:06Speaker 6: was at Auburn was Chris Jackson. That was his name
- 1:57:10Speaker 6: at l s U at that time. When he got
- 1:57:12Speaker 6: to the NBA, he changed his name, right, But the record.
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: Book is always I'm just saying Chris Jackson in the
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: l s U on his scoring and if you look
- 1:57:22Speaker 3: at any of his scoring or anything.
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: It's Chris Jackson. Okay. I always wonder how do they
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: go back and and and edited edit things. I don't
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:57:34Speaker 6: I mean, I'm saying, like Muhammad Ali, Like I wonder
- 1:57:37Speaker 6: when he went to the Olympics right in nineteen, does
- 1:57:40Speaker 6: it still say that as far as I know.
- 1:57:44Speaker 1: Yes, and maybe if.
- 1:57:47Speaker 9: Parentheses Muhammad Ali and it says Mohammad, But but it's
- 1:57:50Speaker 9: still Cashes Clay as the winner of the gold medal,
- 1:57:53Speaker 9: of the gold.
- 1:57:53Speaker 6: Medal, okay. And I was not trying to be disrespectful.
- 1:57:57Speaker 6: I just wondered how that problem says works because I
- 1:58:02Speaker 6: was actually I'm surprised that they went back and changed
- 1:58:05Speaker 6: the whole Bruce Jenner thing because it was commercials and
- 1:58:09Speaker 6: all kinds of stuff when they pulled that off in
- 1:58:12Speaker 6: seventy six. Yes, sir, he introduced people to that whole sport,
- 1:58:16Speaker 6: Yes he did. We didn't even know they what you know,
- 1:58:19Speaker 6: what you mean the Cathalon you know, like I don't, y'all.
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: Did ten things today? Right, Okay, So today, but we
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: your in the ocean. It's time to rap things. So

- 1:59:39Speaker 6: Marvel trying to make a comeback, the entity that they
- 1:59:45Speaker 6: are and the billions that they have made. They've even
- 1:59:48Speaker 6: decided to bring Robert Downey Junior back, but not as
- 1:59:53Speaker 6: iron Man but as Doom. I don't know how that works.
- 2:00:00Speaker 6: Everybody was just hoping the Iron Man really came back,
- 2:00:03Speaker 6: but now they've moved on. But that's not where I'm
- 2:00:05Speaker 6: talking about. Marvel talking about that trash movie Deadpool Wolverine.
- 2:00:13Speaker 6: Who made that fired those people. These are the people
- 2:00:17Speaker 6: y'all put in charge. So you fired them other people

- 2:00:45Speaker 6: for it to come on HBO or whatever you have

- 2:00:57Speaker 1: That's the worst tripe you've ever given a movie.
- 2:01:01Speaker 6: The only other trash an the other Marble movie is
- 2:01:04Speaker 6: down there with the ten Ring, eight rings or whatever.
- 2:01:07Speaker 1: That ring shin shine cheek the ten ring. Yeah, that's
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: the ten rings kind of lit No, you got this
