70. What Dolphins Fans Should REALLY Watch for in 2026 | Out to Pasture with Bo & Joe · Out to Pasture

0:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, welcome back to Out the Pastry Joe and Joe Rose Kimbo camper.
0:04
[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of the dead time, dead time in the football season.
0:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Right around the corner.
0:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, both TAs are over, mini-camps are over.
0:13
[SPEAKER_01]: Guys are taking vacations, coaches are on vacation.
0:16
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think it's a good time for us just to kind of take an overall snapshot of the Miami Dolphins and what we're expecting to see and what we hope to see and what some of the people think that some of the things we're going to people talk about.
0:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, about this football team.
0:31
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's a lot to digest.
0:32
[SPEAKER_00]: This Excuse me, we had a lot to talk about over the last few weeks, and everybody out there's got a little different opinion.
0:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, man, this thing is a brand new GM brand new head coach, brand new philosophy.
0:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm both sides of the football, and you know, both for me to start with the, I call them the 21 draft picks.
0:49
[SPEAKER_00]: 13 last year, eight the year before.
0:52
[SPEAKER_00]: and find out the developing them and your system offensively and defensively find out what you have.
0:58
[SPEAKER_00]: I think the attitude, the effort, all those things are going to be great.
1:02
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they got a real nice coaching staff hired a few guys, kept a few guys from the last coaching staff of Mike McDaniel.
1:09
[SPEAKER_00]: But for me, Bo, it starts with that.
1:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not to mention the core six I call him that they kept.
1:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, hopefully Jordan Brooks gets a contract done.
1:18
[SPEAKER_00]: That's really important because both of them just gonna happen.
1:21
[SPEAKER_00]: I hope so.
1:22
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's had some offers not happy, but hopefully they can find something.
1:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's that important to this team.
1:28
[SPEAKER_00]: He was a leader during the crap last year, the good, the bad, he was there.
1:33
[SPEAKER_00]: He leads the league and the fundamental of football tackling.
1:37
[SPEAKER_00]: He was the best at basketball.
1:39
[SPEAKER_01]: leadership, and I think they had leaders.
1:41
[SPEAKER_01]: So just to, I just saw a thing that rained him on the top 10, to not line back in the league.
1:47
[SPEAKER_01]: And you didn't need a way to tell you that.
1:49
[SPEAKER_01]: So we deserve that.
1:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
1:50
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, one thing I remember about him last year, we're in Atlanta, and they're backed up, and they run some play, and he just blitz us through it, and just blew the play up, dropped the guy for about, you know,
2:06
[SPEAKER_01]: I've never been a saint there.
2:07
[SPEAKER_01]: I was a saint.
2:08
[SPEAKER_01]: You're a lot tackles, but anyway, the impact and I was on the sideline and that ignited that whole football team.
2:17
[SPEAKER_01]: First series, first defensive series, he makes that play and you could see everybody's level just go up.
2:23
[SPEAKER_01]: They're intensity level go up and it's hard to find a guy like that that plays the way he does and it has that gravitas on a football team.
2:31
[SPEAKER_00]: He's a physical guy, which is, by the way, is what they're talking about.
2:34
[SPEAKER_00]: We got to be more physical, and it starts, but you always say that it starts on the line.
2:38
[SPEAKER_00]: It's screaming on both sides, finding a starting five, and some key backups on the offensive line, and finding a front, starting inside where you can stop the run between the tackles.
2:49
[SPEAKER_00]: And then,
2:50
[SPEAKER_00]: get better on the outside, which, you know, to be determined at that position, but well, we got a lot of guys, man.
2:57
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to find out this first class, this coaching staff in front office, very important.
3:03
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to play a lot of those guys.
3:05
[SPEAKER_01]: So, for all intents and purposes, John Erick Sullivan, his job is done to this point.
3:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, obviously there's going to be a look at the roster changes and the thing you're going on.
3:15
[SPEAKER_01]: But for the most part, he drafted the people he want, he got rid of the people that they needed to get rid of, to clear the cap space.
3:24
[SPEAKER_01]: So his job for, you know, maybe 70% of it is done.
3:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me work in during the season, but let's talk about Jeff Haffley.
3:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Jeff is a guy and now that's got to take what he's got and make this a football team.
3:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Look, we all know that there are a lot of holes on this football team.
3:40
[SPEAKER_01]: We've got to have a handful of really good players and some that you hope become better players than they've been.
3:48
[SPEAKER_01]: But this is going to be a difficult job for him under trying circumstances because I don't be honest with you.
3:56
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't expect him to win a lot of games.
3:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I really don't.
3:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to have him be.
4:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to have him win a lot of games.
4:01
[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to have him shock me, but I just don't think that's in the card.
4:06
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think what are you looking for from his football team at week 16, whether
4:15
[SPEAKER_01]: What would you like to have seen from G1 until that?
4:19
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a great question.
4:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's start a quarterback.
4:21
[SPEAKER_00]: I would love to find out the Malik Willis's a quarterback.
4:25
[SPEAKER_00]: And I know it's not going to be easy because I don't know what he's got to throw to right now in the rookie class.
4:30
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they can develop later.
4:32
[SPEAKER_00]: The guy they expect to be the best, probably not going to play at least half the season.
4:37
[SPEAKER_00]: So you know that.
4:38
[SPEAKER_00]: So let's start with that.
4:39
[SPEAKER_00]: But hey, well, both, we find out.
4:42
[SPEAKER_00]: And he looks whether they win four games, five games, six games.
4:45
[SPEAKER_00]: We find out, wow, he's shown me, he can't.
4:48
[SPEAKER_00]: We get more around him, he can be the guy.
4:51
[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to start with that one.
4:53
[SPEAKER_01]: And then, so you're saying we like to be New England with Drake May.
4:58
[SPEAKER_01]: seeing them year one and saying that that team's not very good but they got a quarterback they won't be seen in that position at week 60.
5:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I remember sitting in hard rock stadium they went for games during the year and I go man he's got a bad offensive line and we have much to toe to on the outside and they got a franchise quarterback and and sure enough
5:20
[SPEAKER_00]: They got a guy that looks like he's going to be around for a long, long time.
5:23
[SPEAKER_00]: We can find out Malik and play.
5:25
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, just think what it frees up for the next draft and not to have to worry about that.
5:30
[SPEAKER_00]: I start with that and then, hey, it's development.
5:34
[SPEAKER_00]: It's finding out this year how many guys can play.
5:37
[SPEAKER_00]: There's going to be some bandage.
5:38
[SPEAKER_00]: I agree with you.
5:39
[SPEAKER_00]: There's going to be some physicians where we're going, ooh, we got upgraded and that's why next year taking this big cap hit.
5:46
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to have money for free agency.
5:48
[SPEAKER_00]: We have money for draft and all those holes.
5:51
[SPEAKER_00]: And I hope we don't have this many as we could.
5:54
[SPEAKER_00]: The secondary.
5:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Do we have enough?
5:56
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to find out past Russia.
5:58
[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to find a number one wide receiver and a solid number two wide receiver.
6:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Do we have it?
6:05
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, right now we don't have it.
6:06
[SPEAKER_01]: So right now we're probably starting out with a number three guy, there's our number one guy, and then going down like you have the two two outwells and all these guys that have been three guys.
6:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
6:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
6:19
[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's, and then you look at the secondary again.
6:21
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are going to be daunting.
6:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Trader is going to step up.
6:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Taffey.
6:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Marshall is going to be stormed duck.
6:26
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, Marshall, all these guys, you know, Chris Johnson.
6:30
[SPEAKER_01]: You hope is that guy that can come in and you can plug and play.
6:32
[SPEAKER_01]: And may let him make his, you know, let him learn how to play the game.
6:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they are.
6:37
[SPEAKER_01]: And let him play as many plays as you can and get him solid, solidify for next year.
6:41
[SPEAKER_01]: But then the rest of that secondary, it's a bunch of guys, Ethan Bonner, who knows who's going to fill out that, uh, and we need those guys a lot of them got hurt last year.
6:50
[SPEAKER_00]: Got to stay healthy, man.
6:51
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
6:51
[SPEAKER_00]: It's one thing bad play and it's another if you can't play.
6:54
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
6:55
[SPEAKER_00]: And development comes by bad play, becoming good play and going from there.
6:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, both those number one picks.
7:01
[SPEAKER_00]: especially the first two in the first round on the line and as you said in the corner back or the slot position they're going to play yeah they're going to start and where you have growing pains probably a little bit yeah although I expect them both to be really good I think gain proctors going to be I've been telling every don't worry about came proctor don't worry about and I'm happy with the where they've got came proctor right now
7:24
[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to put him play in the garden.
7:25
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to be a guard for long, though, you know, I mean, with the he's probably probably probably the next year.
7:30
[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be over in the right tackle.
7:32
[SPEAKER_01]: But as a rookie coming in the first year, you got Paul on one side.
7:36
[SPEAKER_01]: You got Aaron Brewer on the other side that can babysit with that guy and pretty good places.
7:42
[SPEAKER_01]: All he's got to do is, you know, I've been watching the soccer team.
7:45
[SPEAKER_01]: You got to be like, go, you got to get big.
7:47
[SPEAKER_01]: You got to play big.
7:48
[SPEAKER_01]: You got to get a big body after that.
7:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Just play big and stop what's coming.
7:53
[SPEAKER_00]: I think about the security blankets on both sides.
7:57
[SPEAKER_00]: Two good guys to learn from that are playing at a really high level and for him to step in there.
8:02
[SPEAKER_00]: He's a big guy.
8:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see guys running him over.
8:04
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a big, big man.
8:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I think first of all on a suit he looks like coming back and get rid of that knock of you.
8:11
[SPEAKER_00]: You give this guy your time off.
8:13
[SPEAKER_00]: He's heavy.
8:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's really important day one of rookie camp.
8:16
[SPEAKER_00]: I believe the 21st, 22nd.
8:19
[SPEAKER_00]: that guy's got his way down and ready to go.
8:20
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to find out how serious he is about football on that day.
8:23
[SPEAKER_01]: So one thing that this, if this offensive line plays out the way, thank you and I feel that it could play out, it's going to be a benefit, Malik Willis, with the receiver core, this kind of being going to be a patchwork receiver core.
8:37
[SPEAKER_01]: He's got that running ability.
8:39
[SPEAKER_01]: And you've got those guys up for up there that can create room, even in the past and game where you find a little space between those big guys and see where you're in the run, and that may be advantageous for that part of the offense with Malik or former Malik.
8:55
[SPEAKER_00]: More than just talking about the wide receivers getting back to Malik Willis and his running backs.
9:00
[SPEAKER_00]: It's having an offensive line that can block.
9:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's the biggest thing.
9:05
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got five guys in the block.
9:07
[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be a better thrower.
9:08
[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to have more time to find guys open.
9:11
[SPEAKER_00]: The running game for A-Channel and the things you can do once A-Channel gets running.
9:15
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm listening to everybody all off season about how bad the offense align was last year.
9:19
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know where you rank above.
9:21
[SPEAKER_00]: All I know is HN every 5.7 yards per carry and was fifth in the league in rushing yards, not to mention the number one pass receiver.
9:30
[SPEAKER_00]: So, hey, I think this group's got a chance to be better than last year's group.
9:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Austin Jackson's got a stay healthy.
9:37
[SPEAKER_00]: Got it.
9:39
[SPEAKER_00]: And from there, I just think off what HN can do and what they can put together.
9:44
[SPEAKER_00]: for a slow weekend and the game plan and half put together a game plan.
9:48
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it could be really fun to watch our quarterback drink off and run.
9:53
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the offensive line, Joe, Tony, you know, the key of the offensive line to me is Austin Jackson.
9:58
[SPEAKER_01]: It's got to stay healthy.
9:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Got to play, you've got to play games.
10:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Shoot.
10:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Because, you know, and then everything melts, hopefully falls into place.
10:05
[SPEAKER_00]: He should be motivated, still a young guy.
10:07
[SPEAKER_00]: There's another good pay check for him out there.
10:10
[SPEAKER_00]: And he knows that.
10:12
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he wants and look, nobody wants to get injured.
10:15
[SPEAKER_00]: But we need him to stay healthy.
10:16
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we see him with the toe and the offseason here and not being able to do a lot.
10:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully these six weeks off he comes back and he's ready to go because we need him a right tackle.
10:27
[SPEAKER_00]: He can be a really good right tackle.
10:28
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm talking about coach and Bobby Slovak, the offensive coordinator.
10:31
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm interested to see what offense he runs.
10:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's going to steal a little bit from Mike McDaniel.
10:37
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's good from what he's done because Mike's, you know, he's a very good, very good play designer.
10:44
[SPEAKER_01]: maybe not to play color, but I think he designs some creative plays and I think Bobby slow it has been around with him at that time enough to so he'll feed off that and then put his his two cents into it and it's also a good thing for me to understand he'll be fine.
10:59
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the rest of you see what this offense is going to be.
11:02
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
11:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Probably going to have to be run dominant, right?
11:08
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think so.
11:09
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, until we we find out what we have on the outside.
11:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you want to control passing game in my opinion things that we can get rid of all and get it to guys.
11:19
[SPEAKER_00]: And as you get better and more comfortable and everything gets better in front of you, then then you can do more things and add more things on to this offense.
11:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Jeff Haffley, he's going to run that defense, he's going to be the guy calling the defense and stuff, and I think he's excited about it, and from everything I've gleaned from him, he's going to run some multiple fronts, but I think basically it's going to be a foreman which plays into the Dolphins last draft and where we got on the defensive front.
11:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Kenneth Grant, you got Bigger's, you got Phillips, and you still got Jack Sealer, you got Jack Sealer, you put those four guys there, that's a four-man line, they'll be a lot better in last year.
12:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Bigger, and we saw grants, grants more physical and better shape than he was last year.
12:10
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's not a critique on these guys because you're rookie in this league.
12:15
[SPEAKER_01]: You've played your whole college football season, then you're going out to the church to get training for the combine.
12:21
[SPEAKER_01]: And you get no time off.
12:22
[SPEAKER_01]: So now they've got time off to get healthy again, get their bodies in the shape, Phillips looks great, Phillips looks great all the time during that.
12:29
[SPEAKER_01]: He was bustling almost bustling the, you know, and he looks great.
12:31
[SPEAKER_01]: The blocking the...
12:32
[SPEAKER_00]: He had traded, he and Trader came in like, it was right, and they were ready for September.
12:36
[SPEAKER_01]: They really did.
12:37
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think, I think that's going to be a strong point, but I'll tell you what, the whole...
12:43
[SPEAKER_01]: on the two sides, the edge rushers, that's going to be big shoes to fill, and I don't know if we've got the guys with the shoes to fill them.
12:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, this is a great question.
12:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I don't believe, and I don't think anybody else really falls this, thinks this like when this is all said and done this, sharing it all boy, we got our guys for every position.
13:05
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm with you.
13:06
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why I think the coaching and play calling the patch up.
13:10
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's call it a band-aid.
13:11
[SPEAKER_00]: You can band-dating get through this season where it doesn't kill you every game because listen, you've got a weakness on a team.
13:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Every league's going to attack it.
13:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Morning, noon, and night attack it.
13:23
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what I'm really curious to look.
13:25
[SPEAKER_00]: Can you cover up your guys?
13:27
[SPEAKER_00]: And find what they can do enough of to have some success, so it doesn't kill you.
13:33
[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, helps everybody else as well.
13:35
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, both safety position, corner position, pass rushers, wide receivers.
13:43
[SPEAKER_00]: to be determined on how good everybody is going to be.
13:46
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is a throwing league now.
13:48
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you look at the roster, you look at the roster, the dolphins roster, and they've probably got four guys listed as defensive tackles right now going to nine or ten guys as edge rushers, right?
14:00
[SPEAKER_01]: You're choosing the one, you want, you need to get somebody that's going to affect that quarterback and I'll let them stand there.
14:06
[SPEAKER_01]: the ball and throw it to open and open.
14:08
[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to have that, but we've got to have that big thing.
14:13
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think there's a symmetry in there with Jeff Halfley.
14:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, play that foreman front.
14:20
[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe you only need one more pass for us here.
14:21
[SPEAKER_01]: If you can find one of those guys.
14:23
[SPEAKER_01]: that can become an edge guy, which is asked a lot to ask, but you know, now you've got teams that are running two down two tackles, and then two guys you stand it up, no one's covering up the tackles, and they're just playing out in space.
14:40
[SPEAKER_00]: You better have guys get stopped to run on first down on the outs.
14:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I think you've got to play a lot.
14:45
[SPEAKER_01]: You better be able to get guys, especially for an edge guy, that can not only get to the pass, but can see run and collapse.
14:52
[SPEAKER_00]: and collapsed to become a guy that that helps on on the running if not you got two holes on there that like the you know you can drive a Mac truck through an interesting guy is going to be biggers to see how they use him because he's big aflight a guy in the outside and if they can use him on early first downs I think it really helped
15:12
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and listen, the unknown of unknowns for me in year three is top problems.
15:17
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not ripping them here in the offseason.
15:19
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, I don't know, he's got Austin Clark coaching them now, which he's excited about a new guy that's really good with his hands and teaching them some things.
15:30
[SPEAKER_00]: And then boy, everybody's been all over the board about how good he's been and not good and according to who you talk to.
15:37
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see it man.
15:38
[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to look like a first round.
15:39
[SPEAKER_01]: You know it's a good good guy works hard You want to be great wants to be good wants to be great But Joe in this league a fast first step is going going to take you so far angry Yeah, you've got to have you got to have the other tools about it and and you've got to be able to move around You got to you know what sometimes for you know as I mean I've passed rest from my old home.
15:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a whole career
16:00
[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to read guys, you've got to be able to read guys when they're set and quick outside, when you're doing, and you have to, you have to diagnose, you know, I remember going, we would go in, and for the first two series, all the defense aligned would come back, we said hey, what's your guy doing, what, oh my guy's set and short, oh my guy's set and D, or this guy's set and this one's set and D, my guy's set and short, and so you start to configure some the games that you want to play, and
16:26
[SPEAKER_01]: And what they're doing, but you've got it, it's kind of, you know, this is just going to be after, this is going to be after joint, be a joint deal for that defensive front where you, everyone's got to talk to each other.
16:37
[SPEAKER_01]: We've got to know what they're doing.
16:39
[SPEAKER_01]: And for a guy like chop, he's got to see is a guy sitting too far back is a guy, do you get wider to widen them out to get it to where you go.
16:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes get inside, change your stance, do different things.
16:49
[SPEAKER_01]: And I hope you can figure it out because, look, you've invested a lot of money in them.
16:53
[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, it's hard not to like the kid.
16:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
16:57
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not from one to two.
16:58
[SPEAKER_00]: He wants to be co-star.
16:59
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be hard on it.
17:01
[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just looking for.
17:03
[SPEAKER_00]: But I will say to your point.
17:05
[SPEAKER_01]: You got to be an 8 to 10.
17:07
[SPEAKER_01]: The sack guy.
17:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Outside of Malik Willis, you can make an argument.
17:10
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care who you are if you're watching this dolphin thing.
17:13
[SPEAKER_00]: The second most important guy that we need to play well.
17:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Chop Robinson.
17:18
[SPEAKER_00]: There's three first round pick.
17:20
[SPEAKER_00]: If T's just a little bit at times, we need to see it man.
17:24
[SPEAKER_00]: And it like it quarterbacks, I get's number one.
17:27
[SPEAKER_00]: But that number one pass rusher to me, right, might be right up there, number two.
17:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you gotta find it, you gotta find it.
17:34
[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, so yeah, I think that's where we are.
17:37
[SPEAKER_01]: We are, and then I'm not gonna give you a number of games at, uh, and when I know everyone asks me, and I don't, I don't, I don't tell them, and I'm just, I'm looking for which is very boring for people.
17:46
[SPEAKER_01]: They don't want to hear it.
17:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna see you guys getting better, and I, I want to see you guys compete, man.
17:50
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see you competitive.
17:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I, I want to be able, even when they lose, go, man, I loved our game plan.
17:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I
17:56
[SPEAKER_00]: get it.
17:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Those guys play their ass off.
17:58
[SPEAKER_00]: They played hard and oh by the way four or five of those young guys look like they're gonna be really good play I want to see that.
18:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you want to see you know you want to see a team this aggressive team that wants to play Team that wants to get better and all those times you get all that I think that's coming and again, you know, you know we get
18:16
[SPEAKER_01]: We kind of had teams over the last couple years that we're kind of, you know, guys we're in and out and this is that, you want to see, I want to see these young guys in particular.
18:24
[SPEAKER_01]: You're talking about the third-trend draft choices this year, the number of rookies that came in the last year and even the year before, the Chopper Robinson.
18:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I want them to grow in this franchise and become Miami Dolphins and want to be Miami Dolphins and want to see make the team better and want to be with their guys.
18:47
[SPEAKER_01]: So when we played the camaraderie on the football team,
18:51
[SPEAKER_01]: the camaraderie with the will to win for our football teams which certainly came from the coach.
18:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
18:57
[SPEAKER_01]: The camaraderie I think came because of the head coach because you kind of had to bond yourself because you had to kind of fight off.
19:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, to fight off the big wolf up.
19:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they haven't made no mistake about it.
19:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's going to be like Don Shula, but the head coaching John, he is the leader of leaders as the head coach.
19:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's still that way.
19:14
[SPEAKER_01]: And you want that to say something.
19:15
[SPEAKER_01]: You want something that to resonate with these guys in the locker room.
19:18
[SPEAKER_01]: You got guys like Jordan Brooks, you got guys like Aaron Brewer, guys like those two guys with the kind of guys that you need to find four, five more of those guys to create that nucleus that can like these guys are saying, they don't want to draft the guy in in two years hour and I'm going to recite, they want to draft them, and they want
19:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to have a problem where you got too many good water.
19:36
[SPEAKER_01]: They want to go with them and keep them here for five years if you can keep here for five years.
19:40
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you one thing, consider not a lot of guys make a lot of money.
19:44
[SPEAKER_00]: I think you got a hungry team.
19:45
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I do.
19:46
[SPEAKER_00]: You got a hungry bunch of young guys who want to show they can play in this league.
19:49
[SPEAKER_00]: You got some free agents that maybe were reserved players on other teams that realized, I got a chance to show them a frontline guy.
19:57
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to show them and I want to make some money.
19:59
[SPEAKER_00]: I want a chance to make some big money in this league.
20:02
[SPEAKER_00]: And you can't do it.
20:03
[SPEAKER_00]: And you're getting a fresh start with a brand new GM, a brand new head coach who goes, I don't care about the past, show me what you can do right now.
20:11
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you got five or six core guys.
20:15
[SPEAKER_00]: We talk about them, you know, again, from Brewer to Brooks to see there, those guys are really important going forward on their leadership.
20:23
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want those guys to go to school with me every day.
20:28
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to have six, I don't want six captains.
20:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Give me those three guys as captains.
20:32
[SPEAKER_00]: I did it like them.
20:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I did it like that.
20:34
[SPEAKER_00]: I did it like that.
20:35
[SPEAKER_00]: I did it like that.
20:36
[SPEAKER_01]: And speaking of the, hey, you know what, I hope you guys have been joining out the past or we've been doing this for, I don't know how many we're doing.
20:42
[SPEAKER_01]: We're probably about 70, 80 episodes into this show.
20:46
[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to start a video.
20:47
[SPEAKER_00]: We've been doing it for a while.
20:48
[SPEAKER_01]: But so, so if you're young when we start it, it's right.

21:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Can't make it.
21:21
[SPEAKER_01]: You can go to my house, whether your car's just not running, whatever.
21:26
[SPEAKER_01]: So phone call, they'll be right to you.
21:28
[SPEAKER_01]: They can do it right there.
21:29
[SPEAKER_01]: They can change tires.
21:30
[SPEAKER_01]: They can give you new tires, do it.
21:32

21:36
[SPEAKER_01]: And be there.
21:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you're at work.
21:37
[SPEAKER_00]: And then like all the sudden you're having work in it.
21:40
[SPEAKER_00]: All the work's done.
21:42
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you guys want to sell Florida and you've got a car, remember this number 7 5 4 2 8 5 7 4 6 9 put that in your phone because if you break down, give them a call, Chris will have his car or it's drunk on the road, and get to you, brought to and get you all fixed on that service department too, man, when you do need to go in.
