Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. All right, well here on
• 0:09
Speaker 1: the One Leg Up Network. After round after round, Shador
• 0:14
Speaker 1: Sanders finally goes to the Cleveland Browns, which I kind
• 0:17
Speaker 1: of predicted, And because the Cleveland Browns seem to draft
• 0:23
Speaker 1: and bring on the problem child of the NFL, to
• 0:27
Speaker 1: Shan Watson is no exception, and so the Browns picking
• 0:31
Speaker 1: Shador doesn't surprise me. But that's besides the point for
• 0:35
Speaker 1: this episode, because over the last couple of days, I've
• 0:40
Speaker 1: been trying to have a new series called do You
• 0:44
Speaker 1: Work for the Yankees Look? Or the do You Work
• 0:48
Speaker 1: for the Giants Look, which includes yes buying through my
• 0:52
Speaker 1: Impact dot Com affiliate link, which you can too.
• 0:55
Speaker 2: Polos that make me just feel.
• 0:58
Speaker 1: Part of the organization. I'm I mean, I wore this
• 1:01
Speaker 1: gray Yankee polo on Wednesday. It snapped him in a
• 1:05
Speaker 1: losing streak, and I will ride that gray polo all
• 1:09
Speaker 1: the way to City Hall in November if that's what
• 1:12
Speaker 1: it takes. In the Quest for twenty eight, then I
• 1:16
Speaker 1: was so impressed by what the Giants have been doing
• 1:18
Speaker 1: in the draft, you know, with Abdul Carter, cam Skibbideau
• 1:23
Speaker 1: from Arizona State they're running back. Boy, what a backfield
• 1:26
Speaker 1: that's gonna be for Russell Wilson, Jamis Winston. And yes,
• 1:30
Speaker 1: that other QB pick Jackson Dart out of all Miss.
• 1:35
Speaker 2: And I think I mentioned it yesterday on the podcast.
• 1:37
Speaker 1: But remember last time the Giants drafted an Ole Miss
• 1:40
Speaker 1: quarterback or traded for him, I should say, in that case,
• 1:45
Speaker 1: which is actually what happened here right in a sense,
• 1:48
Speaker 1: the Giants traded up for Jackson Dart. The Giants traded
• 1:52
Speaker 1: for Eli Manning in twenty oh four, and Manning brought
• 1:56
Speaker 1: home two Super Bowl titles against Tom Brady.
• 2:00
  Speaker 2: Well, look another.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: Ole Miss addition, Maybe two more bowls to put on
• 2:04
Speaker 1: the shelf under this run, Maybe it becomes Jackson Town.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: Love that song Jackson by Johnny Cash. By the way,
• 2:12
Speaker 1: and my fiance Gabby is totally my June Carter Cash.
• 2:16
Speaker 1: I just want to say that here on one leg
• 2:17
Speaker 1: up with Alex gretcause she keeps me in check, just
• 2:20
Speaker 1: like June did keep Johnny in check. All that to say,
• 2:24
Speaker 1: I was so impressed with the Giants. I also got
• 2:27
Speaker 1: polos from fanatics through my Impact dot Com affiliate link,
• 2:30
Speaker 1: and I wanted that do you work for the Giants
• 2:34

Speaker 1: Jackson Dark Cam Skive itto new jerseys that the Fanatics
• 3:13
Speaker 1: people I'm sure are making, that the Giants I'm sure
• 3:15
Speaker 1: are making, and all that with my affiliate link in
• 3:18
Speaker 1: the description below. It's not really Fanatics Friday this week.
• 3:22
Speaker 1: It's Fanatics Saturday because I'm so hyped to have only
• 3:25
Speaker 1: these polos, but that official look as a Giants fan
• 3:30
Speaker 1: and a Yankee fan. You know, if the Knicks go far,
• 3:33
Speaker 1: I might get the Knicks Polo combo too. I don't know,
• 3:37
Speaker 1: we'll have to see about that in the near future.
• 3:40
Speaker 1: But you too can look like you work for the
• 3:42
Speaker 1: Yankees and Giants and look as professional as heck rooting
• 3:45
Speaker 1: on these teams with these beautiful, beautiful polos from fanatics
• 3:51
Speaker 1: and fanatics dot com. So I urge you to get that.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: And I think this week this year at MetLife Stadium
• 4:00
Speaker 1: will be rocking. I think the defense looks stronger. I think,
• 4:04
Speaker 1: you know, I didn't really see the Giants draft in
• 4:06
Speaker 1: O line, to be honest, That's one thing I wish
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: they worked on.
• 4:10
Speaker 2: But I like the moves.
• 4:12
Speaker 1: I feel like it was a stellar draft and I
• 4:15
Speaker 1: believe it can help take Brian Dable to become Coach
• 4:19
Speaker 1: of the Year again and maybe.
• 4:22
Speaker 2: As I said at a couple.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: Of Lombardies, more to the trophy case at met Life
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Stadium and the Timex Performance Center.
• 4:31
Speaker 2: What do you guys think about that?
• 4:33
Speaker 1: Are you happy with the draft?
• 4:34
Speaker 2: Are you happy with the way things went?
• 4:36
Speaker 1: Look like the draft party was ecstatic on Thursday night
• 4:39
Speaker 1: after the Abdullah Carter draft, And yes, Chador going today
• 4:43
Speaker 1: to the Bear to the Browns not a surprise.
• 4:47
  Speaker 2: But I hope, I hope.
• 4:50
Speaker 1: That there could be some kind of shifting character for
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: him before.
• 4:55
Speaker 2: He hits the preseason.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: And then one more pick. I got a highlight because
• 4:58
Speaker 1: as you know, I'll Avid Notre Dame football Irish fan
• 5:03
Speaker 1: and Riley Leonard. Yes, that Riley Leonard drafted by the
• 5:08
Speaker 1: Colts today. How cool is that?
• 5:11
Speaker 2: And boys, the Colts need to quarterback.
• 5:13
Speaker 1: And I think Riley would be an interesting fit in Indianapolis,
• 5:17
Speaker 1: Indiana connection South Bend not too far away from Indianapolis,
• 5:21
Speaker 1: So that that's pretty cool that he gets to say,
• 5:23
Speaker 1: in that home, in that state of Indiana and play
• 5:27
Speaker 1: for the Colts who were really just up the road
• 5:29
Speaker 1: from South Bend if you think about it.
• 5:32
Speaker 2: And I guess I gotta mention this as.
• 5:34
Speaker 1: Well because because Syracuse is Kyle McCord. Though Jalen Hurts
• 5:43
Speaker 1: has been rocking with the Eagles and they win the
• 5:45
Speaker 1: Super Bowl with Jalen Hurts. Well, mccorr got drafted by
• 5:50
Speaker 1: the Eagles, so congrats to him out of Syracuse.
• 5:53
Speaker 2: You gotta highlight the local school as well.
• 5:56
Speaker 1: All that to say, NFL draft frenzy is over. What
• 6:01
Speaker 1: a four rounds? This was the most dramatic day for
• 6:04
Speaker 1: we've had in a while, because well, social media is
• 6:08
Speaker 1: added to that frenzy, right because now when the Giants
• 6:10
Speaker 1: gets selected, select somebody, it's all over the internet. It's
• 6:14
Speaker 1: even cam Skibbado himself has been welcoming himself into the
• 6:18
Speaker 1: Giants family already, and good for him on that, but
• 6:23
Speaker 1: more so more so the Chadur saga lasting into Day
• 6:30
Speaker 1: four of the NFL Draft, after he was a pretty
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: high prospect.
• 6:36
Speaker 2: To be picked in the you know.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: Top five, top tad it was a storyline and I'm
• 6:42
Speaker 1: glad it's over. I'm glad he got drafted. I was
• 6:45
Speaker 1: starting to get concerned and thinking that, yeah, I mnaged
• 6:48
Speaker 1: to pull some strings for him to become a Yankees
• 6:50
Speaker 1: member of the organization of the NFL.
• 6:53
  Speaker 2: Didn't work out.
• 6:54
Speaker 1: But but Cleveland does draft Shador, and I hope it's
• 7:05
Speaker 1: a change for them. I hope that they can now
• 7:07
Speaker 1: veer away from the Deshaun Watson era as I mentioned earlier,
• 7:11
Speaker 1: and that Shador can bring his talents to Cleveland and
• 7:19
Speaker 1: maybe a character change.
• 7:20
Speaker 2: Look at it, we.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: Learned a lot, right. We learned that these guys go
• 7:23
Speaker 1: through interviews, pre draft interviews with these teams, and that's
• 7:27
Speaker 1: the whole point of the tours of these NFL facilities.
• 7:31
Speaker 1: It's not just to walk through it's a whole interview process.
• 7:34
Speaker 2: It's the whole thing.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: So I think we got an inside look into how
• 7:38
Speaker 1: these guys get drafted, the protocols that are in place,
• 7:42
Speaker 1: and the fact is a lot of teams, including the Giants,
• 7:46
Speaker 1: were not impressed with Shador's interview. I saw one vide
• 7:50
Speaker 1: who was climbing on the tables at one of the facilities, Like,
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: who does that?
• 7:56
Speaker 2: Walking on the tables? No, that's not how.
• 7:59
Speaker 1: You do it. And I do believe the Dion coach
• 8:04
Speaker 1: prime shadow lingers. I've thought the way he handled this,
• 8:09
Speaker 1: by the way, is exactly how LaVar handled LaVar Ball
• 8:13
Speaker 1: would handle criticism or snubs against his sons in the NBA,
• 8:23
Speaker 1: because Dion was very vocal when his son was not
• 8:27
Speaker 1: picked the first three rounds, wasn't he?
• 8:30
Speaker 2: But that saga's over.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: The Giants have a great draft and I've got awesome
• 8:36
Speaker 1: links in the description below for the one look up
• 8:38
Speaker 1: on Sports feature where you two can get your hands
• 8:41

• 8:47
Speaker 1: gear if you want to look professional, if you want
• 8:48
Speaker 1: to rock the jersey links in the description below, and
• 8:55
Speaker 1: if you do buy with my affiliate link, I'm not
• 8:57
Speaker 1: only grateful, but you do make commission which reports the
• 9:00
Speaker 1: wollling up network, and I'm also grateful for that as well,
• 9:05
Speaker 1: So kudos all around to those.
• 9:07
  Speaker 2: That got drafted.
• 9:08
Speaker 1: Kudos to Travis Hunter for being drafted second by the Jaguars.
• 9:13
Speaker 2: And we'll have some reaction from.
• 9:16
Speaker 1: Joe Paterno's son once again, Jay Paterno, returning to the
• 9:19
Speaker 1: wollling Up Network. We'll have NFL playmakers with a Z
• 9:24
Speaker 1: Benjamin that's his name, who was at the draft in
• 9:28
Speaker 1: the last few days in lambeau Field.
• 9:31
Speaker 2: We'll have that. Maybe we'll even get a few.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: Others who have been in the area soaking it all in. In fact,
• 9:36
Speaker 1: I have a friend who lives right by Lambo. Maybe
• 9:39
Speaker 1: we'll bring him on as well to help us capture
• 9:41
Speaker 1: the excitement that was the twenty twenty five NFL Draft
