  Where do the socks go when you put them in the dryer? Because I need to know where they go.

  Let it begin. This is Angel Santana. We are starting off the Thursday with something

  that I just don't get. And that is, it's quite simple.

  Where, where, oh, where, oh, where do the socks go?

  That's right. We put these things in the dryer. We put clothes in the dryer.

  We, listen, I have gone so far as to put the socks together.

  Okay. We put the socks together and then I know that they're both in there so

  i unravel them throw them in the dryer.

  And then you know 45 50 minutes later you take the clothes out and you only get one sack,

  and all of a sudden you know you may have like five pair in there but only two

  pair come out as a match where are these other socks going i'm a firm believer

  i'm but i you know what i'm gonna tell you right now,

  I believe, I really believe that the dryers are designed to steal our socks.

  They are. They are designed to steal our socks. And you know why?

  Because we need to buy more socks.

  I feel like the dryer has some kind of a brain in there. It says over the next

  five years of our life, meaning the dryer's lifestyle cycle,

  I'm going to steal 200 socks.

  And after they hit 200 socks, they either die or they recycle and say,

  well, let's go ahead and eat a blanket or something else. Let's evolve.

  Listen, I don't get it. Where do the socks go?

  We sit there and we're like, it's mind boggling. It really is.

  I'm to the point where I'm losing

  my mind. So last night, I decided to do something a little different.

  I said, well, I'm not going to do a giant load. Okay. I'm going to do a medium

  sized load of laundry. Okay.

  And I said, all right, this time I'm going to throw more, more socks than I usually do. Okay.

  Because I want to see if I throw more socks, do more socks get,
• 3:14
  you know, taken or, cause if you do less, you end up with nothing.

  So it's, you gotta like, you know, so I threw in 12 pairs of socks. Okay.

  12 pairs. That is literally a lot of socks. Okay.

  I put in the dryer. My dryer is set for 60 minutes.

  At the 30 minute mark, I normally go in, I scrape, you know,
• 3:35
  the lint and I just make sure that it's not, you know, overflowing or whatever
• 3:39
  and make sure that the clothes are drying greatly.
• 3:42
  And then I hit the button again and I start. This time I did something different.
• 3:46
  I stopped it at 30 minutes of the 60 minute cycle and I took the clothes out
• 3:50
  and I started counting the socks.

  One pair. Two pair, three pair, six pair, eight pair.

  Yeah. Four pairs of socks went bye-bye.

  There's no way. 30 minutes and you took four socks already? How is that possible?

  How can you take socks from me?

  There's something wrong. There really is something wrong. So here's the challenge.

  I have a speed queen, okay?

  And my speed queen is going to

  go to trial. I'm going to sue a speed queen and take the dryer to trial.

  I'm suing for replacement socks.

  And I'm 48 years old. I do not want my socks taken from me.

  I want them washed. I want them clean. I want them to smell angel fresh.

  I don't want to go in and look for matching socks and find out later that they're just gone.

  I feel like I'm playing memory with socks. And it's not cool.

  So at this time, I'm going to figure out a way now as a spiritual show to see

  how I can talk about this topic and make it a spiritual message for you. And it's quite simple.

  Things go missing in our life. Sometimes it's our identity.

  Sometimes it's our heart. Sometimes it's our patience.

  What we can't do is lose those things. We can't lose our identity.

  We can't lose our patience.

  We have to find the gift of grace.

  So I have forgiven my dryer.

  I have forgiven my patience, but I've decided I am no longer letting the dryer,

  dry my socks. That's right.

  This is the actual thing I'm doing, guys.

  I have bought the old school thing where you just hang your clothes to dry.

  I will no longer give the dryer,

  a reason to steal my joy. I have no longer given the dryer the opportunity to

  steal my socks. That's what we're doing.
