- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to The Mark Simone Show, WOR.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hey, I'm going to check in on Israel. There's no
- 0:06Speaker 2: word yet, no winner. Netanyahu is slightly ahead, slightly ahead
- 0:08Speaker 2: right now in Israel. There is no real answer here.
- 0:27Speaker 2: It looked like Netanyahu was going to be defeated, but
- 0:32Speaker 2: he has pulled ahead. He got almost 80% of the
- 0:34Speaker 2: vote in. He has a very slight lead. Looks like
- 0:37Speaker 2: he will most likely hold on to it, but it's
- 0:40Speaker 2: not certain. He can't declare a winner yet in Israel. Now,
- 0:45Speaker 2: in the U.S., our election is next week. It's six
- 0:48Speaker 2: days from now. The most important one for us right
- 0:53Speaker 2: here is getting Bruce Blakeman elected governor. That could really
- 0:55Speaker 2: straighten out a lot of things that could keep a
- 0:57Speaker 2: lid also on the Mamdani craziness. They got all kinds
- 1:02Speaker 2: of plans. If the Democrats win, they got all kinds
- 1:05Speaker 2: of plans. As Blakeman has pointed out, if Hoka wins,
- 1:11Speaker 2: she is planning to bring the congestion pricing to everybody.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Right now, it's Midtown Manhattan. You've got to pay a
- 1:19Speaker 2: $ 9 congestion pricing fee every time you enter Manhattan. If
- 1:23Speaker 2: Hochul wins, she's planning to do it everywhere. Brooklyn, Flatbush
- 1:28Speaker 2: Avenue will be congestion pricing. Queens Boulevard, Northern Boulevard, they'll
- 1:32Speaker 2: be congestion pricing. If you live in the Bronx, Tremont Avenue,
- 1:37Speaker 2: Staten Island, the Staten Island Expressway, you're going to have
- 1:39Speaker 2: congestion pricing. They're also going to bring it to Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Binghamton,
- 1:47Speaker 2: It's an idiotic idea. It is the worst thing in
- 1:51Speaker 2: the world. She is claiming the MTA needs the money.
- 1:55Speaker 2: That's absolutely false. The MTA budget is double what it
- 1:59Speaker 2: should be. If they would get the cost under control,
- 2:02Speaker 2: stop the waste, stop the bloat, stop the fraud, they'd
- 2:06Speaker 2: have more than enough money. Also, if Hochul wins, apparently
- 2:13Speaker 2: she's planning to raise taxes, just regular old taxes. Mamdani
- 2:18Speaker 2: is out there campaigning with her. It looks like they've
- 2:22Speaker 2: made some kind of deal. Remember last year, she had
- 2:26Speaker 2: to bail Mamdani out with the budget. They can send
- 2:29Speaker 2: him about $ 8 billion or something. So apparently the deal
- 2:33Speaker 2: is if Hochul wins with Mamdani's support and endorsement, she'll
- 2:40Speaker 2: raise taxes to pay for Mamdani's socialist agenda. There'll be
- 2:45Speaker 2: an increase in income tax, property tax, higher taxes on farms,
- 2:50Speaker 2: on small businesses, massive inheritance tax. Mamdani wants this because
- 2:57Speaker 2: he wants to pay for his socialist nonsense. He wants
- 2:59Speaker 2: to pay fortune for illegals, take care of illegal migrants
- 3:05Speaker 2: and all their bills and all of that. Oh, I'm
- 3:10Speaker 2: getting an important text. Look at that. Early voting is
- 3:13Speaker 2: ending soon. Make sure you vote early. All right, well,
- 3:16Speaker 2: that's a good message. Do the early voting. You can
- 3:18Speaker 2: do it all this week. You can do it over
- 3:20Speaker 2: the weekend. If you do early voting, there's no line.
- 3:23Speaker 2: You just breeze right through. It'll be much, much easier.
- 3:27Speaker 2: But Hochul, with her nonsense.
- 3:29Speaker 3: He must like a lot of traffic, higher accidents, slower
- 3:33Speaker 3: response time, less money to fund the MTA and Long
- 3:37Speaker 3: Island Railroad, and not really care about congestion.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yeah, the congestion pricing has not brought down traffic. Has
- 3:43Speaker 2: not increased response time. She's produced a couple of fake
- 3:47Speaker 2: studies that mean nothing. Speaking of which, the fake polls
- 3:50Speaker 2: are coming out left and right right now, yesterday and today.
- 3:55Speaker 2: College polls, media polls, totally rigged. If we have experts
- 3:59Speaker 2: look into the metrics, the sampling is totally rigged. The
- 4:05Speaker 2: most biased polls. You know, the funniest thing is in
- 4:08Speaker 2: most of these polls, they totally, totally contradict each other.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So it's just the most rigged polling in the world.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Don't take any of it seriously. Everything is rigged nowadays.
- 4:21Speaker 2: These polls are totally fraudulent. Here's a new study that
- 4:25Speaker 2: just came out. News sites, you know, like Apple News.
- 4:28Speaker 2: You got your iPhone, you got your computer, and it
- 4:31Speaker 2: says Apple News. Bring you all the news. Well, okay.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Seems pretty easy. Sign up for Apple News. A recent
- 4:39Speaker 2: study by Media Research showed that Apple News... pushed 84
- 4:45Speaker 2: negative headlines about the GOP, zero positive. It is the
- 4:50Speaker 2: most biased, slanted news. They analyzed Apple's top 20 stories
- 4:56Speaker 2: every day for a week. It was like 84% anti-GOP,
- 5:01Speaker 2: the most slanted news in the world. And millions of
- 5:07Speaker 2: voters used this stupid Apple news. Do not rely on it.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yahoo News, Microsoft News, Seemed to be just as bad.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It is the most slanted, biased news in the world. Yesterday,
- 5:18Speaker 2: you remember we were talking about Dan Rather? He's really
- 5:21Speaker 2: the father of fake news. Now, in the good old
- 5:25Speaker 2: days of CBS, I mean the heyday, you know, the
- 5:28Speaker 2: Walter Cronkite days or even the Edward R. Murrow, they
- 5:31Speaker 2: were all kind of left-wing guys. They were Democrats. They
- 5:34Speaker 2: were liberals, which is fine. But Cronkite and the others,
- 5:39Speaker 2: they didn't let it. Effect their on-air work. Oh, once
- 5:42Speaker 2: in a while you could tell it was a little slightly,
- 5:46Speaker 2: the wording was a little liberal. Little, just a hair,
- 5:50Speaker 2: just a hair. But that's all it ever was. Then
- 5:53Speaker 2: Dan Rather takes over the evening news and he decides
- 5:57Speaker 2: to weaponize it. He decides to weaponize CBS News. He'll
- 6:01Speaker 2: use it to change public opinion. You're just supposed to
- 6:04Speaker 2: report the news. But he starts slanting it and slanting
- 6:08Speaker 2: it and slanting it. I think the first big example,
- 6:11Speaker 2: remember when it was George H.W. Bush, Bush seniors running
- 6:15Speaker 2: against Bill Clinton. So Rather started doing what they're doing now,
- 6:20Speaker 2: try to make it look like the economy stinks. Our
- 6:23Speaker 2: economy right now is booming. Gas prices are a little high,
- 6:26Speaker 2: but otherwise, economy is booming right now. So Rather launched
- 6:31Speaker 2: a series every night. The CBS Evening News would open
- 6:35Speaker 2: with a couple of headlines, and then it would say,
- 6:38Speaker 2: Also coming up, our special feature, Economy in Crisis. And
- 6:42Speaker 2: then every night they would do this special feature. This
- 6:45Speaker 2: dramatic music would come on and it would say, Economy
- 6:48Speaker 2: in Crisis. And then they would tell you how bad
- 6:50Speaker 2: the economy was. It wasn't true. They would just do
- 6:53Speaker 2: this feature every night leading up to the election. Then
- 6:57Speaker 2: election night, Bill Clinton got elected.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Wow.
- 7:01Speaker 2: The next day, there was no CBS News feature, Economy
- 7:04Speaker 2: in Crisis. It went away just like that. They dropped it.
- 7:08Speaker 2: and Rather started pulling crap like that. He started slanting, biasing, rigging, faking.
- 7:16Speaker 2: It got to the point where he was just into
- 7:18Speaker 2: out and out fake news. Remember, by the time it
- 7:21Speaker 2: was George W. Bush, they made up a whole fake
- 7:24Speaker 2: story that he had gone AWOL in the National Guard.
- 7:27Speaker 2: There was no truth to this. It was a total
- 7:30Speaker 2: fiction from Dan Rather. But at one point, he decided
- 7:33Speaker 2: he would do a full piece on it. He even
- 7:36Speaker 2: put it on 60 Minutes on the CBS Evening News
- 7:38Speaker 2: where he had these documents from back then, from the
- 7:43Speaker 2: commanding office, documents proving that he had gone AWOL. Well,
- 7:49Speaker 2: it turned out the documents were fake. By then it was,
- 7:54Speaker 2: you know, we were in the internet digital world and
- 7:58Speaker 2: all these online guys looked at the documents and they
- 8:03Speaker 2: noticed The documents were typed in a font that did
- 8:07Speaker 2: not exist back then. There was no such font back
- 8:13Speaker 2: in whenever this was supposed to be in the 90s.
- 8:16Speaker 2: And then they examined the documents. They found out they
- 8:18Speaker 2: were totally complete forgeries. And at the time in the
- 8:26Speaker 2: National Guard, Bush had a commanding officer. And apparently this
- 8:30Speaker 2: commanding officer was telling people Bush never went AWOL. In fact,
- 8:35Speaker 2: he was a pilot. He was one of the best
- 8:37Speaker 2: pilots I ever saw in the Air National Guard. He
- 8:39Speaker 2: was one of my finest. Well, they wouldn't put this
- 8:42Speaker 2: guy on the air. They wouldn't put him on the air,
- 8:44Speaker 2: but rather found some secretary that had worked there back
- 8:47Speaker 2: then who said, well, the documents may be false, but
- 8:52Speaker 2: that's what this guy really would have said had they
- 8:55Speaker 2: found this officer. So they put her on the air. Now,
- 8:59Speaker 2: the guy had died, so they couldn't put him on.
- 9:01Speaker 2: But his wife said, no, he never would have written
- 9:03Speaker 2: a document. They wouldn't put her on the air. So
- 9:06Speaker 2: it was total fabricated fake news from Rather. It got
- 9:10Speaker 2: really ugly. It got to the point where even CBS
- 9:13Speaker 2: had to launch an investigation. And they brought in legitimate
- 9:18Speaker 2: investigators from the outside, real serious investigators. They investigated. You
- 9:23Speaker 2: can read the report online. They found out that Rather
- 9:26Speaker 2: had totally faked the whole story using fake, forged documents.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And the biggest, most famous anchor in television, Dan Rather,
- 9:37Speaker 2: had to be fired. CBS News fired him. He left
- 9:41Speaker 2: CBS in absolute, total disgrace. And of course, you haven't
- 9:48Speaker 2: heard from him since. He's, oh, once in a while
- 9:51Speaker 2: he appears on something. There's a great publication called Barrett Media.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It's like the best You should read Barrett every day.
- 9:59Speaker 2: It covers radio, but it covers everything else. So they,
- 10:02Speaker 2: I don't know, this is what Dan Rather's up to now.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Barrett sits down with Dan Rather, who talks about how
- 10:10Speaker 2: damaged CBS News is now. So this, he's about 95 now,
- 10:16Speaker 2: Dan Rather. He's an old, old, and I like Dan Rather.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I mean, Parsley's a nice guy, but the founding father
- 10:23Speaker 2: of fake news, very bitter now. So they interview him
- 10:28Speaker 2: and he said, I don't know if CBS News can
- 10:30Speaker 2: even be fixed. It's so damaged. What the damage was,
- 10:33Speaker 2: 60 Minutes was faking pieces and using deceptive editing and
- 10:40Speaker 2: all kinds of crap. They've been sued over it. The
- 10:42Speaker 2: Trump administration went after him. They had to settle for
- 10:44Speaker 2: like 20 million. I mean, it's just terrible. So this
- 10:47Speaker 2: new CBS News had Barry Weiss He's cleaning it up,
- 10:50Speaker 2: you know, trying to make it legitimate. So Rather interprets
- 10:54Speaker 2: this as very damaged. I don't know if it can
- 10:56Speaker 2: even be repaired. It's so damaged. So he's still out there,
- 11:01Speaker 2: this crabby old Dan Rather, fighting for his fake news
- 11:06Speaker 2: to continue. You know how they banned the horse from
- 11:09Speaker 2: Central Park, the horse and carriage? They're going to get
- 11:12Speaker 2: banned because somebody got killed by a horse and carriage.
- 11:17Speaker 2: One death in 100 years. They're banning the horses and carriages.
- 11:22Speaker 2: E-bikes have had 133 deaths just in the last couple
- 11:25Speaker 2: of years. They're not banning those. Lithium batteries. There was
- 11:29Speaker 2: another one that exploded yesterday in one of the NYCHA houses.
- 11:32Speaker 2: The lithium battery exploded, killing somebody. This is not the
- 11:37Speaker 2: first time. These e-bikes, e-cars, they've got these lithium batteries,
- 11:42Speaker 2: the most dangerous things in the world. They explode. A
- 11:46Speaker 2: lot of people have been killed. I don't see the
- 11:48Speaker 2: city council banning the lithium batteries anywhere in New York.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Where's the ban on that? The horse is one death
- 11:56Speaker 2: in 100 years. That was it. So it's unbelievable. Hey, also, Barrett,
- 12:05Speaker 2: Barrett Media, you should read it every day. There's an article,
- 12:07Speaker 2: interview with Jesse Kelly, who said, talk radio better realize
- 12:13Speaker 2: the Trump era is coming to an end pretty soon
- 12:15Speaker 2: in two years. And, you know, he's got a point there.
- 12:21Speaker 2: You know, the day before Trump announced in 2015, talk
- 12:25Speaker 2: radio was a whole different world. Once Trump got in
- 12:27Speaker 2: the race, boy, he became the lead story every day.
- 12:32Speaker 2: It's been that way for 11 years. And it's been
- 12:35Speaker 2: incredible for talk radio. Talk radio has 63 million listeners
- 12:40Speaker 2: every day. It's exciting with Trump. You know, love him
- 12:43Speaker 2: or hate him. It's exciting stuff every day for talk radio.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Jesse Kelly pointing out there's only two years left of Trump. Now,
- 12:51Speaker 2: when he gets out of office, he could still be,
- 12:53Speaker 2: you know, saying all kinds of things, but it won't
- 12:56Speaker 2: be the same because he won't be in office, in power.
- 12:59Speaker 2: And by then he'll be 82, and he's got to
- 13:03Speaker 2: slow down at some point. So Jesse Kelly's saying talk
- 13:07Speaker 2: radio has to pivot. I mean, he's got a point there.
- 13:10Speaker 2: We can't cover J.D. Vance all day. That's not that exciting.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Marco Rubio is brilliant. He's great, but it's not exciting
- 13:17Speaker 2: talk radio every day. So I don't know. But they
- 13:21Speaker 2: did this years ago when Rush Limbaugh became the biggest
- 13:23Speaker 2: thing in the world, yelling and screaming at Bill Clinton.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And then when Bill Clinton left, I remember every trade
- 13:34Speaker 2: magazine saying, well, that's it for talk radio. There'll be
- 13:36Speaker 2: nothing to talk about without Bill Clinton. Well, Rush did
- 13:38Speaker 2: even better. It's always going to work. Yeah, he's right.
- 13:42Speaker 2: You do have to pivot a little. But it'll always, always, always,
- 13:46Speaker 2: there'll always be stuff for talk radio. Hey, we have
- 13:49Speaker 2: a great sponsor. It's PC Richard & Son. I just
- 13:53Speaker 2: want to congratulate them. PC Richard & Son is now
- 13:57Speaker 2: celebrating 117 years in business. I'm a big PC Richard &
- 14:04Speaker 2: Son fan. I shop there. I love that place. And
- 14:06Speaker 2: they're really, it's a great place to buy. And you
- 14:09Speaker 2: can trust them on appliances, mattresses, whatever it is. Five generations.
- 14:14Speaker 2: One family has been running this. And they're nice people.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Greg Richard and the whole family. Hands-on. They're in the stores.
- 14:20Speaker 2: They're in the warehouses. It's such a well-run company. P.C.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Richard & Son, 117 years. You know, they've been a
- 14:29Speaker 2: sponsor here for a long time. We really appreciate that.
- 14:31Speaker 2: But our listeners have gone there. Always thank us for
- 14:34Speaker 2: recommending them. So we wish them a very, very happy birthday.
- 14:37Speaker 2: 117 years. Happy birthday, P.C. Richard & Son. Hey, we'll
- 14:43Speaker 2: take some calls next. 800-321-0710 is the number. Give us
- 14:45Speaker 2: a call.
- 14:46Speaker 3: 800-321-0710.
- 14:46Speaker 1: No.
- 14:46Speaker 2: The Mark Simone Show. Nine till noon weekdays.
- 14:48Speaker 5: 710WOR.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Hey, we'll take some calls. 800- 3-2-1-0-7-10 is the number. 800-3-2-1-0-7-10.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Let's go to Don in New York City. Don, how
- 15:19Speaker 2: you doing?
- 15:21Speaker 5: Yes, hello, Mark. Recently, I was in a doctor's office
- 15:24Speaker 5: in the waiting room, and they had a special report
- 15:26Speaker 5: on Jeffrey Epstein.
- 15:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 5: And every photograph of Jeffrey, there was also Donald Trump
- 15:32Speaker 5: was in it.
- 15:34Speaker 2: What the hell are you talking about? You're in a
- 15:35Speaker 2: doctor's waiting room. Where was this report?
- 15:39Speaker 5: On either NBC or CBS.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Oh, oh, oh, yeah. They're trying to, um, yeah, I
- 15:44Speaker 2: see what you mean. There's, um, um, some woman is
- 15:47Speaker 2: now claiming, uh, she was raped by Donald Trump with
- 15:51Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein, something. It's, it sounds like a total fake story.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I wouldn't take it. That's why most people are not
- 15:57Speaker 2: reporting it, except the fake news. They're running with it,
- 16:00Speaker 2: but it seems to be a ridiculous story. Just, you
- 16:03Speaker 2: can get the Epstein files. They're up online. You can
- 16:05Speaker 2: read through them. It's a couple million pages, but, uh,
- 16:09Speaker 2: You can read through them. If you read the Epstein files,
- 16:11Speaker 2: all you see is that Epstein hated Donald Trump. They
- 16:14Speaker 2: were bitter enemies. And a lot of stuff in there
- 16:18Speaker 2: about Epstein was plotting with this little wormy weasel, Michael Wolff,
- 16:22Speaker 2: on how they could destroy Donald Trump, how they could
- 16:24Speaker 2: bring him down. Oh, did he hate Donald Trump? But
- 16:29Speaker 2: go to the Epstein files. There's a search thing in there.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Just type in any name you can search. It's a
- 16:33Speaker 2: pretty interesting reading. Let's go to Chris in Montreal, Canada.
- 16:37Speaker 6: Chris?
- 16:38Speaker 2: No, good morning.
- 16:39Speaker 5: No, I'm not in Montreal today.
- 16:40Speaker 2: I'm in New York. Well, it says Montreal here. I
- 16:42Speaker 2: even told him in Manhattan.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Oh.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Huh?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Chris in the Manhattan. Okay. He's the panicking.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Everything is always disaster.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Well, no, not today.
- 16:52Speaker 5: The guy is cast.
- 16:55Speaker 4: I heard an ad yesterday from Letitia James encouraging people
- 16:59Speaker 4: who shouldn't be voting that they don't have to worry
- 17:01Speaker 4: about anything, that they can go and vote anyway.
- 17:04Speaker 2: How is that even legal?
- 17:06Speaker 4: Like, who's legal that has to worry about showing up
- 17:09Speaker 4: at a polling place and having.
- 17:10Speaker 2: ICE get them? Well, she's done things that they're legally
- 17:13Speaker 2: questionable anyway. Her primary residence or other residence.
- 17:18Speaker 4: I know, but that's specifically. And also I saw an
- 17:20Speaker 4: ad for Kathy Hochul where there's this ER doctor looking very,
- 17:25Speaker 4: you know, suspicious. He's looking in the camera and saying
- 17:29Speaker 4: he's so worried about the Medicaid cuts that Blakeman wants.
- 17:32Speaker 2: There's no Medicaid cuts. No Medicaid cuts from Blakeman. Your
- 17:35Speaker 2: doctors don't have regular patients. Well, that's what you have
- 17:39Speaker 2: to do if you're Hochul and you're tied in the
- 17:42Speaker 2: polls all of a sudden. You've got to start doing
- 17:44Speaker 2: vicious attack ads. She spent $ 6 million last week on
- 17:47Speaker 2: these attack ads.
- 17:49Speaker 4: But that thing with Letitia James, that really should be
- 17:52Speaker 4: looked into. Who's legal that has to worry about showing
- 17:55Speaker 4: up to vote?
- 17:56Speaker 2: And that's all she was doing. Should be looked into,
- 17:58Speaker 2: but she's the Attorney General, so good luck with that.
- 18:00Speaker 2: But listen, when they get desperate, they're like cornered rats.
- 18:04Speaker 2: They get desperate. Let's go to Paul in Long Island. Paul,
- 18:08Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 18:10Speaker 5: Yeah, hi, Mark.
- 18:10Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yes, Paul.
- 18:12Speaker 6: So, you know, the people that want the horses taken out.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:19Speaker 6: They're snobs. They just don't like the smell, and that's
- 18:22Speaker 6: the bottom line.
- 18:23Speaker 2: That's what it's about. Well, luckily, I have allergies. I
- 18:25Speaker 2: can't smell them. No, that could be the reason. But
- 18:27Speaker 2: the other— it is an elitist kind of thing. But it's
- 18:30Speaker 2: believed they want the land that the stables are on.
- 18:33Speaker 2: There's two huge stables for those horses, one near Hudson Yards,
- 18:37Speaker 2: one near the Javits Center. It could be very valuable
- 18:40Speaker 2: real estate. A lot of big real estate interests might
- 18:43Speaker 2: want those properties. And at City Council— That governor, those Democrats,
- 18:49Speaker 2: they're very, well, they're like taxi cabs. You can hire them.
- 18:56Speaker 2: They should have easy passes on them. All you got
- 18:58Speaker 2: to do is put money in and you can go
- 18:59Speaker 2: wherever you want with them. Let's go to Greg in
- 19:03Speaker 2: Jersey City. Greg, how you doing? Good. Thank you, Mark.
- 19:08Speaker 6: On your comments on Dan Rather, I don't know if
- 19:11Speaker 6: you remember when he got forced out at CBS News,
- 19:15Speaker 6: The only person that extended him a lifeline was Mark Cuban,
- 19:18Speaker 6: who assigned him to do like this show on that
- 19:21Speaker 6: Axis cable.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but you got to remember, you got to remember
- 19:25Speaker 2: Mark Cuban was trying to start some media thing and
- 19:28Speaker 2: it was hopeless in those days. Online meant nothing. So
- 19:32Speaker 2: to grab a big name would have suddenly given his
- 19:35Speaker 2: little venture some status. It wasn't that he was a
- 19:37Speaker 2: Dan Rather fan.
- 19:40Speaker 6: Yeah, it was just strange watching rather interview people like
- 19:43Speaker 6: Robert Plant or Steve Perry, you know, people like 20
- 19:46Speaker 6: years outside of his age range, you was just strange.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah, some of those are up on YouTube. They're actually
- 19:53Speaker 2: not bad, some of them, or he interviews people he
- 19:56Speaker 2: doesn't know how to interview. I think there's one with
- 19:57Speaker 2: Don Rickles. It's Dan Rather for like a half hour
- 20:00Speaker 2: interviewing them. You know, he wasn't bad at that. I mean,
- 20:03Speaker 2: he didn't know what he was talking about, but he
- 20:04Speaker 2: was pretty folksy. He's got a nice folksy way about him.
- 20:08Speaker 2: If he wasn't crooked with the fake news and he
- 20:11Speaker 2: wasn't so biased and had he just been Dan rather
- 20:14Speaker 2: the nice guy, he could have been as big as Cronkite.
- 20:18Speaker 2: You never know. Although he wasn't as likable as Cronkite.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Let's go to Ralph in Manhattan. Ralph, how you doing?
- 20:25Speaker 1: Hey, Mark, you know, Jesse Kelly may be on to something.
- 20:28Speaker 1: You know, the talk show hosts got a little bit lazy. And,
- 20:32Speaker 1: you know, without Trump, what the heck do you talk about?
- 20:35Speaker 1: You know, that's a good if you just mention Trump's name,
- 20:38Speaker 1: you have a conversation. Now they're actually going to have
- 20:41Speaker 1: to improvise a little bit. Not you, of course, but
- 20:44Speaker 1: the others I'm talking about.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Yeah, the others don't have their own content, but I
- 20:49Speaker 2: can do fine without. I mean, we love talking about Trump,
- 20:51Speaker 2: but I don't know if you ever noticed this. But
- 20:54Speaker 2: once in a while, I'll do an hour with no
- 20:56Speaker 2: politics at all in it. And nobody's ever noticed. I
- 21:01Speaker 2: just do it every once in a while to test
- 21:02Speaker 2: it out. Nobody's ever noticed. Let's go to Neil in Brooklyn. Neil,
- 21:06Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 21:09Speaker 6: Thank you, Mark.
- 21:10Speaker 7: Mark, in this multicultural city, I always try to get
- 21:13Speaker 7: along with people for, you know, most of my life.
- 21:17Speaker 7: And because it's a safe country, you don't get many
- 21:19Speaker 7: chances to be a hero. But when I voted Republican
- 21:22Speaker 7: the other day, I felt like it was my Oscar
- 21:25Speaker 7: Schindler moment. I'm trying to save humanity.
- 21:29Speaker 1: All right.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Well, there you go. A little hyperbolic there. A little
- 21:32Speaker 2: over-the-top exaggeration.
- 21:34Speaker 7: No, I know.
- 21:35Speaker 2: A little dramatic. Not dramatic. Donald Trump couldn't exaggerate that much.
- 21:39Speaker 2: What the hell are you talking about? You're not Oscar Schindler,
- 21:42Speaker 2: but it's good that you voted. Everybody get out there.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Do the early voting. You can vote all week. You
- 21:49Speaker 2: can vote on the weekend, but do the early voting.
- 21:51Speaker 2: There's no line. You go right in there and vote.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Don't wait until Election Day. Do the early voting this week. Hey,
- 21:58Speaker 2: when we come back, we'll talk to Ann Coulter. She'll
- 22:01Speaker 2: be with us next. Lots to talk to her about
- 22:03Speaker 2: just ahead on 710WOR.
- 22:07Speaker 5: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios, Mark Simone.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Well, with us right now, the best-selling author, the great columnist,
- 22:18Speaker 2: Ann Coulter. And we've got lots to talk to her about.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Make sure you follow her on Twitter. Even better is Substack,
- 22:25Speaker 2: because there she's got podcasts and videos, all sorts of stuff.
- 22:28Speaker 2: And start watching Ann Coulter's Rumble channel. A lot of
- 22:33Speaker 2: good content there. Ann Coulter, how are you doing?
- 22:36Speaker 5: Fantastic.
- 22:37Speaker 3: How are you, Mark Simone?
- 22:39Speaker 2: I'm good. You're a Cornell alumni.
- 22:42Speaker 6: What happened?
- 22:43Speaker 2: It's not in the news anymore. I don't see anything
- 22:45Speaker 2: about Cornell anymore.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I think maybe the media figured out that the accused
- 22:52Speaker 3: were diverse.
- 22:54Speaker 5: Oh.
- 22:54Speaker 3: So it's not really their kind of case. They prefer
- 22:59Speaker 3: the falsely accused Duke lacrosse players, the falsely accused UVA fraternity.
- 23:05Speaker 3: And here, the accused rapists and the, I guess, acknowledged
- 23:14Speaker 3: orgy participants were a Muslim, an African-American, an Asian, meaning Oriental,
- 23:23Speaker 3: not Indian, and two Hispanics. And the only two white guys,
- 23:28Speaker 3: with any involvement, are the ones who saw the tweet free.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I can't say it on radio, but everybody knows what
- 23:36Speaker 3: it is because the media's been all over it.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Oh, free, yes, yes. Body part. Free body part.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Right, right. Female genitalia. Crude term for female genitalia. That
- 23:48Speaker 3: was sent out by Jonathan Newell, the African-American fraternity boy.
- 23:52Speaker 3: And they were all taking drugs. And the two white
- 23:57Speaker 3: fraternity guys saw the Snapchat. And both by their account
- 24:04Speaker 3: and the account of the alleged victim, Jane Doe, They
- 24:08Speaker 3: just went up to break up whatever was going on.
- 24:12Speaker 3: They were alarmed or befuddled by this text. So they
- 24:17Speaker 3: checked in. They were there for less than five minutes,
- 24:19Speaker 3: never laid a finger on her, which she herself told
- 24:22Speaker 3: the police at the time. So it's not really fitting in.
- 24:29Speaker 3: with the media's favorite narrative, which is it's got to
- 24:32Speaker 3: be all white gang rapists. Remember, it all started with
- 24:35Speaker 3: Tawana Brawley, and she accused white male prosecutor, white male policeman.
- 24:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:43Speaker 2: I like the way you call them orgy participants. It
- 24:46Speaker 2: makes it sound so legitimate.
- 24:51Speaker 3: The case is nuts. I mean, many have pointed out today,
- 24:57Speaker 3: perhaps you're one of them, I haven't been up long
- 25:00Speaker 3: enough to do much tweeting today.
- 25:04Speaker 8: There is this shocking, appalling, this really, a knife point
- 25:10Speaker 8: rape at 67th, just off 5th Avenue. Are you kidding?
- 25:14Speaker 3: Why isn't everyone leaving New York? I mean, everybody knows
- 25:19Speaker 3: who can hear my voice right now, I suspect. But
- 25:23Speaker 3: these are $ 10, $ 20.
- 25:25Speaker 8: Million apartments right there.
- 25:27Speaker 3: This is Central Park. which was totally safe during Giuliani
- 25:32Speaker 3: and Bloomberg. A girl could cross it late at night,
- 25:35Speaker 3: and you would be totally safe. Now at 8.30 p.m.,
- 25:39Speaker 3: you're not safe from a knife-point rape. And meanwhile, have
- 25:43Speaker 3: we heard anything? What's Hochul doing about that? How about
- 25:47Speaker 3: assigning a special prosecutor, a special task force for that? Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
- 25:53Speaker 3: But we'll shut down government to investigate an alleged gang
- 25:57Speaker 3: rape that... Sure looks consensual. Yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Hey, explain this to me. The nerve of Democrats. You know,
- 26:06Speaker 2: they've controlled every inch of New York for 15 years.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Democrat mayor, Democrat city council, Democrat legislature, Democrat governor. And
- 26:14Speaker 2: now they're complaining there's an affordability crisis. Wouldn't that be
- 26:17Speaker 2: on them?
- 26:21Speaker 5: Yes.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Yes. Well, I mean, the... the pristine example of that
- 26:28Speaker 3: not only in new york but tampa to come in
- 26:30Speaker 3: any place that has rent control uh... apartments overnight become
- 26:35Speaker 3: unaffordable for obvious obvious reasons and and apartments get really
- 26:41Speaker 3: really crappy uh... and you can look around you can
- 26:44Speaker 3: look around the country and see where ever there is
- 26:48Speaker 3: a rent control immediately prices go up quality goes down uh.
- 26:53Speaker 6: but uh.
- 26:54Speaker 3: i mean you have this lobby This is the problem with, quote, democracy,
- 27:01Speaker 3: when people who don't care about the good of society,
- 27:06Speaker 3: of the town, of the country, of the state, but
- 27:09Speaker 3: just let me make more money. Just give me, give me,
- 27:12Speaker 3: give me, give me more. And, you know, sometimes it's
- 27:16Speaker 3: the rich farmers, the rich Republicans who want their cheap
- 27:22Speaker 3: foreign labor, but sometimes it's the... the denizens, the lucky
- 27:27Speaker 3: winners of rent-controlled apartments. Even though participating in this fraud
- 27:34Speaker 3: drives up prices and lowers quality for everyone else in
- 27:37Speaker 3: the city, I'm supposed to say, oh, that's great that
- 27:40Speaker 3: you have a rent-controlled apartment. No, I always want to
- 27:43Speaker 3: kick those people.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Hey, apparently word is if Hochul gets re-elected, she's planning
- 27:50Speaker 2: all kinds of new taxes, increasing income tax, property tax,
- 27:53Speaker 2: every tax. to help fund Mamdani's nonsense. I mean, what
- 28:00Speaker 2: is wrong with these people? They already had double the
- 28:04Speaker 2: budget they should have. What is wrong with Democrats?
- 28:09Speaker 3: What they will end up doing is exactly the opposite
- 28:12Speaker 3: of what they say they want to do, and that is,
- 28:16Speaker 3: as you say, deal with affordability. Make it possible for
- 28:20Speaker 3: middle-class people to live somewhere in New York and not
- 28:24Speaker 3: be forced to move, you know, to Iowa or something.
- 28:29Speaker 3: It will be a city, you know, like the Soviet Union,
- 28:33Speaker 3: like Caracas, of the very, very uber-rich, who it'll be
- 28:39Speaker 3: unfair how much they're paying in taxes. They might squawk,
- 28:43Speaker 3: but they'll either strike a special deal with the powers
- 28:48Speaker 3: that be.
- 28:48Speaker 6: Or they'll just say, oh, well.
- 28:51Speaker 3: uh... and and to the very poor who are their
- 28:54Speaker 3: service uh... boys talk about the dollars court it'll just
- 28:59Speaker 3: i i was just thinking about that with you know
- 29:01Speaker 3: humble middle-class people uh... who who may be maybe have
- 29:06Speaker 3: a pieta care in new york they're the ones who
- 29:09Speaker 3: are going to get screwed not not ken griffin to
- 29:12Speaker 3: his apartment i mean i love the guy i'm not
- 29:14Speaker 3: complaining about it but uh... are at him i think
- 29:17Speaker 3: it's outrageous among dummy stood in front of in apartments
- 29:21Speaker 3: to gin up this envy of the rich that's never
- 29:25Speaker 3: gotten any society anyplace and was always the great thing
- 29:28Speaker 3: about America, which you still see in the MAGA movement
- 29:33Speaker 3: and their support for Donald Trump. They're not resentful of
- 29:37Speaker 3: his wealth, but that was really sleazy mandat. standing in
- 29:40Speaker 3: front of Ken Griffin's apartment, denouncing him in particular by name,
- 29:45Speaker 3: showing this apartment and saying, oh, he should pay a
- 29:47Speaker 3: little bit more. Oh, good grief. The rich already pay
- 29:50Speaker 3: through the nose. The middle class already pays through the nose.
- 29:55Speaker 3: But they're the ones who are going to leave. Middle class.
- 29:59Speaker 2: So, hey, Ann Coulter, tell us about Europe, France, Paris,
- 30:05Speaker 2: all these cities, Milan, burning every weekend. They got a
- 30:10Speaker 2: problem that's going to take decades to fix, don't they?
- 30:14Speaker 3: Well, you know, I wrote about this this summer when
- 30:18Speaker 3: I was in London for a spell.
- 30:22Speaker 8: You see these videos.
- 30:24Speaker 3: And I mean, what's going on in France is, of course,
- 30:26Speaker 3: utterly ridiculous and appalling, and it is at bringing in
- 30:31Speaker 3: it it isn't muslims it's not palestinians it's not marxist
- 30:34Speaker 3: i mean they'll they'll all take advantage of it the
- 30:37Speaker 3: same way and people would leap on these things and
- 30:40Speaker 3: fight with the police during the p l b l
- 30:42Speaker 3: m right uh... it's immigrants from africa who who are
- 30:45Speaker 3: just looting and burning and arsoning uh... andy you know
- 30:50Speaker 3: i don't know why any country would do that if
- 30:52Speaker 3: you have a nice country france uh... same thing with
- 30:56Speaker 3: With England, England has more of the Islamic, you know,
- 31:01Speaker 3: 20 wives, Muslims. And you see these videos, but keep
- 31:05Speaker 3: in mind, England is still 88% white European. France is
- 31:12Speaker 3: still 90 to 92% white European. America is hanging on
- 31:19Speaker 3: by its fingernails at 56%. white European, and in the
- 31:25Speaker 3: below 30 age group, oh man, our country is over
- 31:29Speaker 3: so much sooner than those countries are.
- 31:33Speaker 2: President Trump is now proposing, if they get control of Congress,
- 31:36Speaker 2: keep control, legislation that would ban any future president from
- 31:41Speaker 2: ever opening the border. What do you think?
- 31:46Speaker 6: Well.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Democrat, I think it's a great idea. Don't get me wrong,
- 31:51Speaker 3: but Democrats aren't big rules followers. I mean, as I
- 31:54Speaker 3: said throughout, or law followers, I said throughout the Biden administration,
- 31:59Speaker 3: on your show, Mark Simone, what President Biden, well, he
- 32:04Speaker 3: had the metro, but his staff and Alejandro Mayorkas were
- 32:10Speaker 3: doing was directly violating federal law they just ignore it
- 32:17Speaker 3: and drag in the third world just keep them coming
- 32:20Speaker 3: keep them coming what are you going to do about
- 32:22Speaker 3: it republicans and now you know republicans the people vote
- 32:26Speaker 3: as we saw in twenty twenty four largely because of
- 32:29Speaker 3: immigration with a majority of americans saying they wanted the
- 32:33Speaker 3: mass deportation force that was trump's most popular idea this
- 32:36Speaker 3: is according to new york times poll uh... january twenty
- 32:40Speaker 3: twenty five uh.
- 32:42Speaker 2: that uh.
- 32:42Speaker 3: up a clear majority want every illegal alien in the
- 32:46Speaker 3: country deported and now i'll tell you will be sometimes
- 32:52Speaker 3: the i'd agent have to get a little rough to
- 32:54Speaker 3: do them no liberals just count on we bring them
- 32:57Speaker 3: in and you'll have to use law enforcement to get
- 33:00Speaker 3: them out so that we can count on the media
- 33:02Speaker 3: to uh... you know fixate on any roughness with our
- 33:05Speaker 3: darling third worlders.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Ann Coulter, great talking with you. Your Rumble channel, what
- 33:12Speaker 2: can people look for on there?
- 33:15Speaker 3: Live, 5 p.m., mostly just podcasts with me chattering about things,
- 33:21Speaker 3: which are extremely interesting. Sometimes I have short interviews with
- 33:25Speaker 3: interesting people, too. It then goes up a day or
- 33:28Speaker 3: two later on Substack without ads. Oh, and the... So
- 33:32Speaker 3: it's live on Rumble, 5 p.m. on Thursdays. It then
- 33:34Speaker 3: goes also to YouTube right away.

- 33:52Speaker 2: Take care. Oh, everybody, make sure you listen to Buck
- 33:55Speaker 2: and Clay. They'll be here. A few minutes from now,
- 33:57Speaker 2: they'll be here right after the news. And then at
- 33:59Speaker 2: 3 o'clock, you've got the most listened to radio show

- 34:39Speaker 2: 1 o'clock. They're going to unveil a new bunch of laptops,
- 34:43Speaker 2: new mini pads, new... desktop, so take a look at that.
- 34:47Speaker 2: It's going to be some pretty hot stuff. It's going
- 34:50Speaker 2: to be a beautiful day today. Bright sunshine, autumn weather.
- 34:53Speaker 2: It's going to be like that for the next four
- 34:55Speaker 2: or five days, so great weather coming up. Make sure
- 34:58Speaker 2: you go out there and early vote. Do it today, tomorrow,
- 35:00Speaker 2: do it this week. We're out of time. I'll be
- 35:02Speaker 2: back tomorrow, 9 to noon, three hours every day, here
- 35:05Speaker 2: on 710WOR.
