- 0:00Speaker 1: This roof has off. Seattle.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Welcome to Seattle Crakin Hockey on the Global Credit Union
- 0:07Speaker 2: Krakenn Audio Network, brought to you by Coor's Life, Your
- 0:11Speaker 2: Western Washington, Toyota Dealers, Virginia Mason, Franciscan Health, Muckleshoot Casino Resort,
- 0:17Speaker 2: and by Luna and Summetra.
- 0:20Speaker 3: The Kraken were a little slow out of the gate
- 0:23Speaker 3: and found themselves behind the proverbial eight ball last night
- 0:26Speaker 3: in their return from the Olympic break.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Despite Seattle setting.
- 0:29Speaker 3: A physical tone in the first ten minutes, Dallas scored
- 0:32Speaker 3: late in the opening period and then added three.
- 0:34Speaker 1: More in the second to take a four to nothing leave.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Ryker evans that at the lone Seattle goal in a
- 0:39Speaker 3: third period that saw the physicality and temperature reach its peak,
- 0:43Speaker 3: adding a little window dressing in a four to one
- 0:46Speaker 3: cracking loss. Tonight, Seattle heads to Saint Louis looking to
- 0:49Speaker 3: get back in the win column against the Blues team
- 0:51Speaker 3: who will be shorthanded in their first game out.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Of the Olympic break.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Good afternoon back in Seattle, Ladies and gentlemen, welcome inside
- 0:59Speaker 3: of Enterprise Center here in.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Saint Louis, Missouri. Under the Gateway our Gelong side, Big
- 1:04Speaker 1: Al Kaniski. I am Everard Fitsu. You're listening to the.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Cracking pregame show served up by Frostbrew Corps Night Choose
- 1:10Speaker 3: Chill on the Global Credit Union Crack and Audio Network
- 1:13Speaker 3: for one loss last night, partner for Seattle first ten minutes.
- 1:16Speaker 3: He and I were talking after the game. Probably give
- 1:18Speaker 3: the crack in a B minus, but in the words
- 1:20Speaker 3: of Lane Lambert, the rest of the game, it was
- 1:24Speaker 3: not very happy with that overall performance.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Yeah, something happened after the two power play opportunities at
- 1:28Speaker 4: Seattle got there in the first period where they went
- 1:30Speaker 4: oh for two, got two shots on the first one,
- 1:33Speaker 4: none on the second one, where Dallas kind of grabbed
- 1:35Speaker 4: hold of that momentum and left everything behind in the
- 1:38Speaker 4: third in the second period, grabbing three goals in addition
- 1:41Speaker 4: to the one they had in the first period and
- 1:43Speaker 4: going up four and nothing.
- 1:43Speaker 3: It was very physical last night for Seattle as well.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Jamie alexiak Ryan Lindgren laying some massive hits in the
- 1:50Speaker 3: first period. Jacob Malonsen another whole hummed seven hit performance
- 1:55Speaker 3: for him last night. Ryan Lndren as a result from
- 1:58Speaker 3: that hit, will not play's game, so Josh Mhura won't
- 2:02Speaker 3: draw back into the lineup. But for the Kraken, you
- 2:04Speaker 3: would have to imagine against a team that Laye Lambert
- 2:06Speaker 3: feels is very similar to Dallas in the Saint Louis Blues,
- 2:10Speaker 3: they're going to want to keep that physicality high here tonight.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I think he feels it's an important part of
- 2:15Speaker 4: the recipe for every game when they win, so you
- 2:17Speaker 4: don't want to necessarily lose that. But not having Ryan
- 2:20Speaker 4: Lingerd in the lineup, you lose that grid a little
- 2:22Speaker 4: bit to you lose that defensive responsibility. He's at the
- 2:26Speaker 4: topp or near the top and plus minus for the Krackings,
- 2:29Speaker 4: so you're gonna miss him on the blue line, But
- 2:31Speaker 4: it also presents an opportunity for Mahura to come in
- 2:34Speaker 4: and fill that gap.
- 2:34Speaker 1: On the other side of the red line.
- 2:36Speaker 3: In the Saint Louis Blue is it's been a struggle
- 2:38Speaker 3: for them this season, fourteen points back of the Seattle Kracken,
- 2:41Speaker 3: who now hold on to that second.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And final wildcard spot.
- 2:45Speaker 3: The break for them came at a perfect time, three
- 2:48Speaker 3: ten to one in their fourteen games going into the break,
- 2:51Speaker 3: and tonight they're not going to have Jordan Bennington. He'll
- 2:53Speaker 3: back up Joel Hofer won a silver medal for Team Canada.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Did Jordan Binnington?
- 2:57Speaker 3: Also not in the lineup Robert Thomas, who was recovering
- 3:00Speaker 3: from an injury and has left the team to attend
- 3:02Speaker 3: to a personal matter.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yeah, Robert Thomas, who's got eleven goals twenty two assists
- 3:06Speaker 4: on the season, is a big.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Loss for them.
- 3:08Speaker 4: But don't sleep on that because Pamelo Butch Navis leads
- 3:11Speaker 4: this team with thirty four points twenty two assists, and
- 3:14Speaker 4: the leading goal scorers Jake Nabors with fourteen.
- 3:16Speaker 1: These guys are all on the lineup.
- 3:17Speaker 4: So yes, it's nice not having a top scorer in
- 3:20Speaker 4: the lineup, but you're still going to see a very
- 3:22Speaker 4: talented Blues team play here tonight.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Crackhet wrapping up a back to back here on the road.
- 3:28Speaker 1: They are four to one and one in Game.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Two, so back to back in their last six opportunities,
- 3:33Speaker 3: so bucking the trend of the last couple of seasons,
- 3:37Speaker 3: trying to get back in the win column here tonight.

- 6:56Speaker 9: in Network Central. What twenty five games left? The playoff
- 6:59Speaker 9: chase heats up even more with a Kraken coming in
- 7:02Speaker 9: right now. At twenty seven to twenty one and nine
- 7:05Speaker 9: point total at sixty three, they are in wild card
- 7:07Speaker 9: spot number two in the West. Ending five straight games
- 7:11Speaker 9: on the road here for this evening they face the
- 7:13Speaker 9: Blues team well out of the playoff picture right now,
- 7:16Speaker 9: second worst record in the NHL at twenty twenty eight
- 7:19Speaker 9: to nine point total forty nine. They have lost three
- 7:23Speaker 9: in a row and stand fourteen points back of the
- 7:26Speaker 9: cut line. Well this evening, it's all about answering a
- 7:29Speaker 9: wake up call. Last night, first game in three weeks,
- 7:32Speaker 9: and the Kraken didn't exactly have matters go to plan.
- 7:36Speaker 9: They lost four to one in Dallas as the Stars
- 7:39Speaker 9: scored four unanswered goals out of the shoot Wyat Johnson
- 7:42Speaker 9: scored twice as well, and the only Kraken goal coming
- 7:45Speaker 9: in period three belonged to Ryker Evans, where special teams
- 7:48Speaker 9: coming up dry on the Kraken side zero for four
- 7:51Speaker 9: on the power play, Dallas going one of three. Health
- 7:54Speaker 9: also an issue. No Ryan Lengren for much of the evening,
- 7:58Speaker 9: lost after two shifts to begin in the game last
- 8:01Speaker 9: night after he gave a first period had too. Colin
- 8:04Speaker 9: Blackwell did not return. Shot volume though a bigger issue
- 8:08Speaker 9: the cracking out shot twenty six to nine through two
- 8:11Speaker 9: periods of play, where it was already four to nothing
- 8:13Speaker 9: Dallas at that point with the start of sweeping the
- 8:16Speaker 9: three game regular season series. Even without the likes of
- 8:20Speaker 9: Miro Hayeskenen, Raddick, fox Up and rope hen So, the
- 8:23Speaker 9: Kraken could certainly use a massive bounce back here in
- 8:27Speaker 9: a very tight playoff race for this evening. After last night,
- 8:30Speaker 9: captain Jordan Neberly said the Kraken had to answer a
- 8:33Speaker 9: bigger battle of getting to the inside where work ethic
- 8:36Speaker 9: matters most. Yeah.
- 8:37Speaker 10: To me, it's effort, will you know, battle compete, just
- 8:41Speaker 10: ways to find you know, you look at like I said,
- 8:43Speaker 10: three of their goals were just you know, shots from
- 8:45Speaker 10: the point and finally to get their sticks on it.
- 8:48Speaker 10: You know, we didn't do a good enough job, I think,
- 8:50Speaker 10: especially in the first two periods where we have eight
- 8:52Speaker 10: or nine shots and we get a final way to create,
- 8:54Speaker 10: they're not going to score that way.
- 8:55Speaker 9: So you look to competition for the interior to be
- 8:58Speaker 9: heighten here for the Kracking this evening, both on the
- 9:01Speaker 9: offensive and the defensive side enter the tenth of thirteen
- 9:05Speaker 9: end of back to back situations here for this evening,
- 9:08Speaker 9: and until late December, the Krack and were struggling still
- 9:11Speaker 9: in this area. Oh fourteen and one record last fifteen
- 9:14Speaker 9: games in the second lega back to back, but ever
- 9:16Speaker 9: since then they own a four to one and one record,
- 9:19Speaker 9: also finding their offense in these situations, scoring twenty two
- 9:24Speaker 9: goals last six games in the second leg up back
- 9:27Speaker 9: to back. Last time out, the Kraken beat the Los
- 9:29Speaker 9: Angeles Kings last game before the Olympic break four to two,
- 9:33Speaker 9: and the first period was a big reason for that,
- 9:35Speaker 9: with a Kraken getting out to a big start early
- 9:37Speaker 9: with a three to one lead. Joey Decordi has played
- 9:40Speaker 9: last seven games in the second leg of back to back,
- 9:43Speaker 9: the pattern, though it looks like ends this sevening. Philip
- 9:45Speaker 9: Grubauer will start in net in his first game back
- 9:48Speaker 9: from the winner Olympics with Team Germany. Grew Bauer also
- 9:51Speaker 9: making his first start this season here in the second
- 9:54Speaker 9: leg back to back cracking story lines. First up again
- 9:58Speaker 9: was shot volume, and again last night it was a
- 10:00Speaker 9: hot topic. The Kraken held a nineteen shots eighth time.
- 10:03Speaker 9: They then held to less than twenty shots for this
- 10:06Speaker 9: regular season, and they'll face the Blues team Maybe that
- 10:09Speaker 9: could give them a bit of a bounce back here
- 10:10Speaker 9: for period one. The Blues dead last right now in
- 10:14Speaker 9: the NHL in first period shot differential minus ninety eight.
- 10:19Speaker 9: Right now in period one second le Couppocaco do to
- 10:22Speaker 9: make his Olympic return. Of course, he secured bronze for
- 10:25Speaker 9: Team Finland, owning five points in six games in the
- 10:28Speaker 9: Winter Olympics. And tonight back in a line with Jaden
- 10:31Speaker 9: Schwartz in, Shane Wright Coco aiming by the way for
- 10:34Speaker 9: points in three of his previous four NHL games, and
- 10:37Speaker 9: finally no Ryan Limbren. It'll be his first game out
- 10:41Speaker 9: all season along, so there is a shuffle on defense.
- 10:43Speaker 9: Josh Murhura is in. He'll play with Riker Evans also
- 10:46Speaker 9: marking for Herr's first game since December twenty third against
- 10:51Speaker 9: the Los Angeles Kings. More here from the Kraken, and
- 10:54Speaker 9: here's Evans saying the Kraken learned a lesson and keeping
- 10:57Speaker 9: their game simple.
- 10:58Speaker 11: We were just passing up show. We just need to
- 11:01Speaker 11: get puck stewers in that and get the grease to
- 11:03Speaker 11: one and we're just trying to trying to make a
- 11:06Speaker 11: fancy player or just pass it. We just need to
- 11:08Speaker 11: get to the net.
- 11:09Speaker 9: Evans offered more on the key to playing defense at
- 11:12Speaker 9: the inside, saying technique is a big part of their success.
- 11:16Speaker 11: Boxing oil early, tying up a stick. Other than if
- 11:20Speaker 11: the puck hits them and goes in, you can't. Can't
- 11:22Speaker 11: we score if we got a stick, So just tying
- 11:25Speaker 11: up sticks early and then boxing as much as you can,
- 11:29Speaker 11: said Joe.
- 11:29Speaker 9: We can see the park, so the crack and try
- 11:31Speaker 9: to build them in four to six and three all
- 11:33Speaker 9: time record head to head against Saint Louis, also aiming
- 11:36Speaker 9: for their third win in a row all time against
- 11:39Speaker 9: the Blues in this game. Will be matched up two
- 11:41Speaker 9: of three this season last time out, but cracking one
- 11:44Speaker 9: four to three in overtime in Saint Louis. Back on
- 11:48Speaker 9: November eighth. We'll come back in a bit and take
- 11:50Speaker 9: a look at Saint Louis after this. You're listening to

- 14:35Speaker 9: Mike Betting again with you back here at Network Central
- 14:37Speaker 9: and Time now for a look at the Blues, who
- 14:40Speaker 9: are now out of the Olympic break themselves. It is
- 14:43Speaker 9: their first game back in twenty two days, also bringing
- 14:46Speaker 9: back five who went to the Olympic Games. Among the
- 14:49Speaker 9: notables here Jordan Bennington and Colton Pereco for Team Canada
- 14:53Speaker 9: earning silver medal. Also GM Doug Armstrong as well. On
- 14:57Speaker 9: that side, they come back now to a harsh reality,
- 15:00Speaker 9: well out of a playoff spot, and the big question
- 15:03Speaker 9: bears where do they go? The Blues have lost three
- 15:06Speaker 9: in a row They have just one win now in
- 15:07Speaker 9: their last nine games, allowing thirty nine goals as well
- 15:11Speaker 9: in that span, So the March sixth trade deadline could
- 15:15Speaker 9: mean plenty of names on the move. Reportedly, the names
- 15:18Speaker 9: in question Jordan Bennington, Justin Falk, Jordan Kyrue, even Robert
- 15:23Speaker 9: Thomas as well. Thomas though won't be here tonight out
- 15:26Speaker 9: due to a personal matter as well. In for the Blues,
- 15:28Speaker 9: Jack Finley a waiver claim from Tampa Bay, making his
- 15:31Speaker 9: Saint Louis debut. That last name well known to the
- 15:34Speaker 9: Blues community is Dad Jeff Finley, at one time played
- 15:37Speaker 9: for the Blues. Jeff will also be in the house. Also,
- 15:41Speaker 9: Dylan Holloway coming off IR He's back in after an
- 15:44Speaker 9: ankle injury. He had just one game played since December twelfth.
- 15:48Speaker 9: Blues head coach Jim Montgomery said he sees a split
- 15:51Speaker 9: between which team as yet per hand here for this evening.
- 15:54Speaker 17: In the end, it's an advantage for us if we
- 15:56Speaker 17: played the right way and take advantage of it. I
- 15:58Speaker 17: think the first ten minutes of the game should be
- 16:00Speaker 17: an advantage for them. They're in a rhythm of playing again.
- 16:02Speaker 1: We're not.
- 16:04Speaker 17: So it's important that we keep it simple and play
- 16:06Speaker 17: North in the big first ten.
- 16:07Speaker 9: Minutes Crack and also trying to draw from that formula
- 16:10Speaker 9: here because they're facing a Blues team built much like
- 16:13Speaker 9: last night's opponent in Dallas. The Star is the sixth
- 16:16Speaker 9: tallest team in the NHL by height, Saint Louis is eighth,
- 16:19Speaker 9: and the leading scorer Pavel Bochnevich. He's a heavy presence
- 16:22Speaker 9: six to one one ninety six, owning thirty four points
- 16:26Speaker 9: in fifty seven games. Or blue story lines first off
- 16:29Speaker 9: again with handling Jordan Cayrou. He has certainly been a
- 16:33Speaker 9: handful in this head to head series, but having a
- 16:35Speaker 9: tough season right now with thirty two points in forty
- 16:38Speaker 9: seven games. That is a far cry from the seventy
- 16:40Speaker 9: point seasons he had earlier this decade. But he's been
- 16:44Speaker 9: turning up the heat here for his game, owning back
- 16:46Speaker 9: to back multi point games heading into this one, also
- 16:49Speaker 9: with twelve points last eight games and against the Krack
- 16:52Speaker 9: and you ask nine goals in twelve games, most of
- 16:56Speaker 9: anyone in this series on Saint Louis. Secondly, Joel First
- 17:00Speaker 9: starts a net, which means more rest here for Jordan
- 17:02Speaker 9: Bennington against the Crack, and he owns a one to
- 17:04Speaker 9: zero to one record in two games with a nine
- 17:07Speaker 9: to zoo say percentage, But his last time out it
- 17:10Speaker 9: was a rough one back in the second of February,
- 17:12Speaker 9: with six goals allowed on twenty eight shots in a
- 17:15Speaker 9: loss against Nashville. The Blues are looking up at a
- 17:18Speaker 9: ton of teams right now in the standings, and Montgomery
- 17:21Speaker 9: said is tied into the goals that they want to
- 17:24Speaker 9: set internally for this last part of the season.
- 17:26Speaker 17: For us, the biggest challenge and my biggest challenge is
- 17:29Speaker 17: getting us to be a hard team to play against
- 17:31Speaker 17: every night. And that's the most important thing. Is that
- 17:34Speaker 17: are competitive levels, a second and third effort. Being relentless
- 17:38Speaker 17: on pucks is something that we need to develop here
- 17:41Speaker 17: down to stretch consistently.
- 17:43Speaker 9: So the Blues looking at themselves here to get better
- 17:45Speaker 9: before they start looking to shot more at this playoff
- 17:48Speaker 9: picture as the Crack and getting set here for the
- 17:50Speaker 9: second game and back to back against Saint Louis all right,

- 18:04Speaker 9: six two eight six nine five. Again, that's two oh

- 20:49Speaker 3: Lane Lambert saying that a lot needs to be cleaned up,
- 20:52Speaker 3: mainly shooting the puck.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I don't want to.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Get too far ahead of you here, but what can
- 20:56Speaker 3: the Kraken do tonight to get two big points in
- 20:59Speaker 3: the Western Conference.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Well, we talked a.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Little bit about the start last night, that it was
- 21:02Speaker 4: a be that first ten minutes, So I'm gonna say
- 21:04Speaker 4: a better start is the first key. The starting Dallas
- 21:07Speaker 4: was okay, but I need to see a better one.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Don't ease into it like you're experiencing your first cold plunge.
- 21:12Speaker 4: The first ten minutes need to look like the boys
- 21:14Speaker 4: double park the team bus and forgot to feed the dog.
- 21:17Speaker 4: The Blues love to get comfortable here at home, so
- 21:19Speaker 4: don't let them attack first, attack fast, and make their
- 21:23Speaker 4: fans reach for their anascids before they found their seats. Secondly,
- 21:27Speaker 4: shoot first, mentality, enough with the extra sauce. If you
- 21:31Speaker 4: see daylight, send it. No overpassing like you're chasing the
- 21:34Speaker 4: cheese wheel. The puck is a hot potato tonight, and
- 21:37Speaker 4: the only safe play for it, place for it to
- 21:39Speaker 4: be is behind Joel Hofer volume shooting bodies of the
- 21:43Speaker 4: net and some greasy goals on the score sheet, No
- 21:46Speaker 4: pretty pictures, just red lights, and then third success on
- 21:50Speaker 4: the power play, the crack of we're zero for four
- 21:52Speaker 4: last night.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It needs to be better.
- 21:53Speaker 4: When you get the man advantage, you don't politely circulate
- 21:57Speaker 4: the puck like you're hosting the dinner party and you
- 21:59Speaker 4: just brought out the shrimp platter. You attack Chris bantries,
- 22:02Speaker 4: quick decisions and traffic that would.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Make I five jealous. The power Play needs to cash.
- 22:07Speaker 4: In because nothing deflates the building faster than a road
- 22:10Speaker 4: team letting the lamp with an extra skater. So when
- 22:13Speaker 4: some start fast so you're dictating, not reacting, shoot like
- 22:18Speaker 4: you're paid by the shot, and crash the net like
- 22:21Speaker 4: rents do. And when the power Play hops over the boards,
- 22:24Speaker 4: treat it like a gift and unwrap it immediately. Do
- 22:27Speaker 4: those three things and the Kracken won't just get back
- 22:29Speaker 4: to their winning ways.
- 22:30Speaker 1: The leave Saint Louis singing the Blues all the way home.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Save that extra sauce for my Saint Louis style ribs,
- 22:36Speaker 3: am I right.
- 22:36Speaker 1: That's right? Save the rib. So the Krakens still are
- 22:40Speaker 1: in a pretty good spot.
- 22:40Speaker 3: You're in the second wildcard as of the start of
- 22:44Speaker 3: this game. The La Kings tonight will be three points
- 22:48Speaker 3: back of you.
- 22:48Speaker 1: They play Edmonton.
- 22:50Speaker 3: So for the Kraken, I mean, this is a big
- 22:53Speaker 3: game for them in the standings wise, but also too,
- 22:55Speaker 3: you want to show that last night was more of
- 22:57Speaker 3: a Fluke than anything.
- 22:59Speaker 1: You're in this playoff RaSE.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Lane Lambert gave a lot of credit to Saint Louis
- 23:03Speaker 3: this morning, finding a lot of similarities in Saint Louis
- 23:07Speaker 3: as you saw in Dallas.
- 23:08Speaker 1: A big team, they've got some skill, they're not afraid
- 23:11Speaker 1: to go to the front of the net.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Three goals last night off of deflection score of the
- 23:15Speaker 3: Dallas Stars the krack and have to be ready for
- 23:17Speaker 3: that here.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Absolutely, it's that time of year, twenty five games left.
- 23:20Speaker 4: You're you're looking for a playoff spot. You're starting to
- 23:22Speaker 4: look even consider who you might play if you're in
- 23:25Speaker 4: the playoffs.
- 23:26Speaker 1: But Edmonton at LA tonight, you're cheering a little.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Bit for LA to hold Edmonton where they are, which
- 23:31Speaker 4: is right now in third place. Because you win here,
- 23:33Speaker 4: you're tied with second with Anaheim, and you lose, things
- 23:36Speaker 4: aren't looking good with the teams below you.
- 23:38Speaker 3: How about that you go in the last night's game
- 23:39Speaker 3: in third, you lose, drop to the second wildcard. Now
- 23:43Speaker 3: you win tonight, you can be back in second. That's
- 23:45Speaker 3: just how crazy.
- 23:46Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Ol tighten Gess, you mentioned the power play in the
- 23:49Speaker 3: special Teams for Saint Louis here tonight. It's been a
- 23:52Speaker 3: struggle for them as of late, three ten and one
- 23:54Speaker 3: in their last fourteen games. However, they've got a power
- 23:57Speaker 3: play goal in four straight games in seven of their
- 24:00Speaker 3: last eight, so again an opportunity for the Kraken, who
- 24:03Speaker 3: against a team that's been struggling, their PK has to
- 24:07Speaker 3: be strong. But also in their last five games they've
- 24:10Speaker 3: allowed seven power play goals themselves, so staying out of
- 24:14Speaker 3: the box is going to be crucial. But also, like
- 24:16Speaker 3: you mentioned, getting in on that power play scoring is
- 24:19Speaker 3: gonna be paramount as well.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Absolutely, With Robert Thomas being out of the lineup nine
- 24:22Speaker 4: power play points this season, three of those power play goals,
- 24:25Speaker 4: he does have any impact. But as I mentioned, Pavelo Butchnevich,
- 24:28Speaker 4: who will lead that first power play unit, he can
- 24:30Speaker 4: get it done out there, and they can hurt you
- 24:32Speaker 4: on the power play. So you know, I don't want
- 24:34Speaker 4: to see the krack and give up a lot of
- 24:35Speaker 4: opportunities to Saint Louis tonight on their on their power play,
- 24:38Speaker 4: because I think that's where they can hurt you.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Speaking of impacts, speaking of getting it done, speaking of
- 24:43Speaker 3: hurting you, Mike Betton, Mike Betton back in Seattle standing

- 27:37Speaker 21: First game out of the Break, Crack and Fall last
- 27:39Speaker 21: night in Dallas for one in a game which last
- 27:41Speaker 21: night this morning, not too thrilled with the effort to
- 27:45Speaker 21: take us back through your thoughts and that performance.
- 27:47Speaker 22: Yeah, I thought we started the game pretty good. We
- 27:49Speaker 22: had a couple of power plays right off the pot,
- 27:51Speaker 22: which I think you know, if we score on those obviously,
- 27:55Speaker 22: you know, the game might be a little bit different.
- 27:57Speaker 13: We did not.
- 27:58Speaker 22: We gave up a goal at the end of the
- 28:00Speaker 22: first period, which you can't do, you know, we didn't
- 28:04Speaker 22: box out Japna, and you know, and then by the
- 28:08Speaker 22: time nine minutes are gone in the second period, it's
- 28:10Speaker 22: four nothing. So there was a ten minute window where we,
- 28:14Speaker 22: you know, basically lost the game. But at the end
- 28:16Speaker 22: of the day, you can't just look at that ten minutes.
- 28:18Speaker 22: I just thought we were out muscled, out battled. I
- 28:21Speaker 22: thought we played too slow. I thought our execution was
- 28:25Speaker 22: really poor. Their second goal was scored off of an
- 28:28Speaker 22: icing by us on a simple pass that we should make.
- 28:33Speaker 22: Just not even close to being.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Good enough for me.
- 28:35Speaker 21: Early in the game, a couple of massive hits from
- 28:38Speaker 21: Lingren Jamie Alexiak that physical tone set early another seven
- 28:43Speaker 21: hit game from Jacob Mullanson. Can you take the physicality
- 28:46Speaker 21: aspect of that game is something maybe to build off of.
- 28:50Speaker 22: Ah, well, I mean yeah, I guess you know, you
- 28:56Speaker 22: know you're going to get that from Lanson every night
- 28:58Speaker 22: pretty much. You know, Lindy, that was a great hit.
- 29:04Speaker 22: Unfortunately hurt himself doing it. But sometimes those are the
- 29:08Speaker 22: things that happened. When you lay your body on the
- 29:10Speaker 22: line like he does in all situations, you know, sometimes
- 29:14Speaker 22: those things can happen. Certainly, you know he's the guy
- 29:17Speaker 22: we're gonna miss here for a little bit.
- 29:18Speaker 21: Do you attribute last night's overall performance to to more russ,
- 29:22Speaker 21: to not being ready, to not being fresh? What do
- 29:25Speaker 21: you feel maybe contributed to that performance last night?
- 29:29Speaker 1: In your eyes?
- 29:31Speaker 22: I'm just mind boggled by the fact that we came
- 29:34Speaker 22: out and played that way. You know, Dallas had the
- 29:36Speaker 22: same break as we had. We can't use that for
- 29:40Speaker 22: an excuse. Our practices were really good leading into heading
- 29:44Speaker 22: to Dallas, and then we just didn't didn't execute and
- 29:52Speaker 22: you know, disappointing. So what do I attribute it to?
- 30:00Speaker 22: I'm dumbfounded.
- 30:03Speaker 1: How is that?
- 30:04Speaker 9: Well, the Krackens certainly know the direction that they have
- 30:06Speaker 9: to go in here after last night, those words from
- 30:09Speaker 9: krackened coach Lane Lambert. We'll come back in a bit
