- 2:04SPEAKER_01: In due season.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Due season.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Due season.

- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Praise the Lord.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: God give us over 7,000 promises in the Word of God.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Praise the Lord.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: And He's going to bless us.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: He's going to multiply us.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: He's going to keep us.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: He's going to help us.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Praise God.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: So I come to tell you this morning, don't be weary and well doing, for in due season you're going to weep if you faint not.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: Praise God.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, we got a good shepherd.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: The Lord is my shepherd.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: You know that.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Psalm 23.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Just about everybody know this Psalm, even if those who never go to church have heard this song.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: It's just now to realize how powerful it is.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Because to say that the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Making me the light down and green past.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: It leads me by the still waters, restore my soul, leading me by the path of righteousness for his name's sake.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Yea, do I walk through the valley of the shadow of death?
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: I will fear no evil, for the Lord is with me.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: The rod and staff cover me.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: He prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies, known my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Surely in goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: I want to talk this morning from the subject, from the valley to the harvest.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: From the valley to the harvest.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Everybody wants a harvest, but nobody wants the valley.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: So when you think about harvest time, we think about blessings and increase and faithfulness and reward.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: But there's something we must understand.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: Before the harvest, there's a season of preparation.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Before the fruit, there must be growth.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Seeds got to be planted.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, hallelujah.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: We often say on our Sunday morning, we're looking for souls to come into the kingdom.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Praise God, hallelujah.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: But having his seeds have gone out, have anybody witnessed, have anybody talked to the Lord about leading them to someone they could go to and witness to, and even uh uh take out time to bring them to the house of prayer.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: And then we look for a harvest, but nobody does the work for a harvest to come.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, hallelujah.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: So we just talk to each other, receive the message that the Spirit has for uh uh the people uh that comes.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Praise the Lord.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Everybody wants a table of blessings, but nobody wants to walk through the valley.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: Everybody wants the green pastures, but nobody wants the dark places.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Everybody wants the overflowing cup, but nobody wants to experience the difficult season of life.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: But David teaches us something powerful.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: The same shepherd who led us beside still water is the same shepherd who walks through the valley.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: From the valley to the harvest.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: You might be going through a difficult season right now.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: You might get tired, you might be discouraged, but you may be wondering when things are going to change.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: But don't give up.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: Your valley does not have to become your permanent residence, and your difficult season does not mean God have abandoned you.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Lord.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: Know who your shepherd is.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: David knew who his shepherd was, and he said, The Lord is my shepherd.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: David knew something about shepherding.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: Take your time.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Shepherding, because as a young boy, he cared for his father's sheep.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: He understood that sheep depend on their shepherd for food, water, protection, direction.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: And David said, The Lord is my shepherd.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: Notice he didn't say the Lord is a shepherd.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: He said, The Lord is my shepherd.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: David made it personal.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: Many people today place their confidence in their jobs, their bank accounts, their pension, their retirement plan, the houses of other people.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: But while we thank God for those provisions, none of them can replace the Lord.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: A job in, money runs out, people can disappoint us, but God remains faithful.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: David said, I shall not want, expressing his confidence in God's care.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: When the Lord is your shepherd, you can trust him to care for you even when your circumstances change.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: Are you with me this day?
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: And that's why we have to allow the shepherd to give you rest.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: He maketh me to lay down in green pastures.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: He leadeth me besides the still water.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: David declares a shepherd bringing sheep to a place of nourishment and peace.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: Sheep need a safe place to rest.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Believers need a rest as well.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Sometimes we become so busy with the cares of life that we forget to slow down and spend time with God.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: We become burdened with responsibilities.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: We worry about tomorrow.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: We're concerned about our families, overwhelmed by our problems.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: But the shepherd knows, yes, he does, when we need rest.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: That's why in 1 Peter 5 and 7, cast all your care upon him.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: He cares for you, all your concern, all your problem, all your hang-up, all your disappointments.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: Give it to the Lord.
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: Give it to you.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: We often say he won't put no more on you than you can bear.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: Well, you can't bear it.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: You can't bear it.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: You gotta give it to the Lord.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: Ain't no sense in going around trying to bear and bear stuff.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: That's the problem.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: We try to bear it in our own strength.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: But the Bible says the joy of the Lord is my strength.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: That that uh alone, I I need his strength.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: They're strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: Not my strength, but his enabling me, his power, and abling me to do his will.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: And Philippians 4 and 7, and the peace of God that passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: Church, the Lord knows how to give us peace in the midst of life, difficult situations.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: Don't become so busy trying to produce a harvest that you neglect the shepherd who gave you the script.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: Sometimes God is not telling you to work harder, sometimes He's telling you to rest in his presence.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: Ye the Bokosa now.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: Yes, Lord.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, in his presence.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: In his presence there is joy.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: In his presence there is peace.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: I will linger, I will stay in his presence day by day till his likeness be revealed in me.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: Glory be to God.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: He restoreth my soul.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his namesake.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: Notice how many times David speaks about the shepherd leading.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: The shepherd does not decide, the sheep does not decide where the shepherd should go.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: They follow his direction.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: As believers, we must learn to follow the Lord.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: Sometimes we want to lead God instead of allowing God to lead us.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: We make our own plans and then we ask him to prove them.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: But the word of God teaches us to trust his direction.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: Proverbs 3, 5, and 6, trust in the Lord with all thy heart.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Lean not upon thy own understanding, and all your ways acknowledge him.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: He will direct your pathway.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: And then John picks it up 16 and 13.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: Howbeit, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: He shall speak of himself, but whosoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he shall show you things to come.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: We must be careful about who and what uh we allow, who and what we allow to lead us.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: Our emotions can't uh can mislead us.
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: Somebody Christians just live on their emotions, their feelings.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: You know, your feelings get hurt and you can't serve God no more because it's too much into our feelings.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: How I feel.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: You know, God isn't more concerned uh uh uh about your character than your happiness.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: We just want to be happy all the time, but God did uh uh develop us through character.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: You may not be smiling all the time.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: He comes outside.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: You might have to get serious about some things and get serious about life.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: Because life will uh cause you amen.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: Either to uh, you know, sometime with the when trials come and he can draw you closer to God or push you further away.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: Our fears can mislead us, our desires can mislead us.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: But God's word gives us a trustworthy path.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Lord Jesus.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Trustworthy path.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: If you want to arrive where God has prepared a blessing for you, you must be willing to follow to follow where He leads.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: I love that song.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: Where He leads me, I will follow.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: Where He leads me, I will follow.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: I'll go with him, I'll go with him all the way.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: If you want to arrive with God to prepare the blessing for you, you must be willing to follow where He leads.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: Allow the shepherd to restore your soul.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: He restores my soul.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Restoration means bringing something back, renewing it, making it whole again.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: There are times when we become spiritually weary.
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: We lose enthusiasm, we lose the joy, we become discouraged.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: But David said, He restored my soul.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: Oh yes.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: David was a repenting man.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: David wrote in Psalms 51 and 10, Create in me a clean heart, oh Lord, and renew a right spirit in me.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: I know I messed up.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: I know I like that beautiful woman, that black beautiful woman, Bathsheba, when I saw I just didn't know what the Lord had mercy.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: It got to me.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: Invited on over.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, hallelujah.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: Did what I wanted to do.
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: I was a king.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: Even though the lady was married.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: But that's how far the flesh will take you.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, to take you and drop you like a hot potato.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: Yes, it will.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: David, he knew how to get in contact with God.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: And in that 12th verse, it says, Restore unto me the joy of my salvation.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: I've lost it.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: Sin will cause you to lose your joy of salvation.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: Yes, it will.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: And he says, Lord, uphold me with your free spirit.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: David knew what it meant to need restoration.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: And today, someone listening may need God to restore something in your life.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: You might need him to restore your joy.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: Restore your peace.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: Restore your confidence back.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: Your commitment.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Your desire to pray and your desire to serve.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: Don't let weariness of the journey destroy your relationship with your shepherd.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: The Lord can renew your strength so that you can continue faithfully.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Lord.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: Point number five.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: Don't stop walking in the valley.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Yea, do I walk through the valley of the shadow of death?
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: I will fear no evil.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: For thou art with me, thou rod and thy staff to comfort me.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: David did not say he would never experience a valley.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: He said, Do I uh walk through the valley?
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: I don't stand the valley.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: I walk through it.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: Walking through it.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: The valley represents life, difficulty, and frightening experiences.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: Sometimes the valley can be sickness.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: Dealing with the sickness.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: Sometimes a disease or something that comes upon you.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: Dealing with the cancer.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: Whatever it might be.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: It might be the valley of financial trouble.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's a family problem.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: Disappointments.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: Grief.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's a season when you just don't understand what God is doing.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: But David, give us three encouraging words.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: Well.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: Thou art with me.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: Just say that with me.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: You going through something and just say, Thou art with me.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: The Lord is with me.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: That's what I love about Joseph.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: And when Joseph was and went through, and he said he said several times that the Lord was with him.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: And I could tell you something.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: No matter what you go through and what you face with, when the Lord is with you.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, hallelujah.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: Hey, God.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: To know the assurance that God is with me.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: He's in me.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: He's over me.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: He's covering me.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: That is such an encouragement.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: David didn't say the shepherd would always remove the valley.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: He said the shepherd would be with him in the valley.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: David said, I walk through.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: I come outside.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: You're walking through.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: You might be sick, but you're going through it.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: You're going to go through it.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: You get on the other side.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: Shepherd would be with him and walk through the valley.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: Not that he would remain there forever.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: He was passing through.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, Lord.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Isaiah 41:10.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: Fear thou not, for I am with thee.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: I will strengthen you.
- 19:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I will help you.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: I will withhold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: Put that scripture to memory.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: You know, I put that scripture to memory, and the enemy tried to take it away from me.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: Sometimes you gotta memorize this word and throw it back to the devil.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: Fear thou not.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: Say that with me.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: Fear thou not.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: For the Lord is with me.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: I will not be dismayed.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: For the Lord, my God, He will strengthen me.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: He will help me.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: He will uphold me.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: With the right hand.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: With the right hand of my righteousness.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: With the right hand of His righteousness.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: Don't build a permanent resident in a temporary valley.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: Keep trusting God.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: Keep moving forward.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: Keep believing.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: Your valley is not the end of your story.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: Trust God to prepare your table.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: He said, I prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: I anoint your head with oil, your cup gonna run over.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: Now David moves from the valley to the table.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: What a wonderful picture.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: He has been walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but now he speaks about the table prepared for him.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: And notice who prepares it.
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: The Lord prepares the table.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, he got some good stuff on that table.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: David didn't say his enemy prepared it, he didn't say his friends.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Prepared it.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: He said, God prepared a table before me.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: The table was prepared in the presence of his enemy.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: In other words, opposition does not prevent God's provision.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: David went on to say, by cup running over.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, hallelujah.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: That's a picture of abundance.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: And that that that connects with the game harvest time.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: Remember, God's blessings are not limited by material things.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: Peace is a blessing.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Salvation is a blessing.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: A restored family relationship is a blessing.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: Spiritual growth is a blessing.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: The opportunity to help somebody else is a blessing.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: The greatest blessing is knowing and serve.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: And walking with Jesus Christ.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: Don't allow what you experience in the valley to make you forget what God is able to provide.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Expect God's goodness and mercy to accomplish you.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: So follow me all the days of my life.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: And I dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: I believe it was the uh William Brothers who sang a song.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: Uh uh got angels, two angels followed me.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: Now one angel called goodness, and the other one called mercy.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: And followed me.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: Everywhere, hallelujah, everywhere I go.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: Yes, Lord Jesus.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: Yes, Lord.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: David uh closes this beautiful psalm with confidence.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: He didn't say, Maybe goodness and mercy is your father.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: He said, Surely.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: That is a statement of faith.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: He trusts that God's goodness and mercy will remain with him throughout his life.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: David began the song by saying, The Lord is my shepherd, and ends by saying, I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: He begins with a relationship, he ends with an assurance of a continual fellowship with God.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Don't be worried.
- 25:02SPEAKER_01: Well, don't do things that make you weak for God.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: Don't stop doing good.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: Don't stop praying.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: Don't stop serving God.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: Don't stop trusting God.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: Your selfness dealing with you.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: God bless you this morning.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: Thank you all for tuning in.
