- 0:22SPEAKER_00: In the law enforcement community, the phrase person of interest is used to describe someone who may be involved in an ongoing investigation or connected with a crime, but they haven't been formally accused of a crime.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: People are quote unquote interested in this person because of their actions.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Well, you and I can do the same thing as well.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: You see, curiosity works both ways.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: It's important to be a curious writer, but you can also make people curious about you.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: In other words, you can be a quote unquote person of interest by doing interesting things.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: And a really simple way to become more interesting is to share what you're working on.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: You can use social media, email, conversations, meetings, masterminds, groups, and basically any means that you can think of to share what you're learning as you write.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: You see, being interesting is not about doing completely original things.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: After all, there's no such thing as being completely original, but when you share what you're doing and how you're growing and what you're learning, you will become massively interesting to other people.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: So here's today's challenge.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: What is one thing you have learned recently that you can share with others?
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Today's episode is sponsored by Vellum.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: As a writer, you not only want to write great books, you also want them to look professionally formatted, and you want to give your readers a great experience.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: If you've ever tried to format a book on Microsoft Word, you know how frustrating it can be to make your book look good using a tool that was never designed for book formatting.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: And that's why for years, my go-to choice for book formatting software has been Vellum.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Vellum gives you the power to build, style, and preview your book and have more fun than you ever thought possible while doing it.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: It's the go to choice for indie authors who care about creating beautiful ebooks and print books, and they want to save tons of time in the process.
