Man Sentenced for Child Abuse and Violating Probation | Boise News
A 23-year-old man, Adan Osman Salat, has been sentenced to two years in prison and 15 years probation after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl and violating a no-contact order — while already on pretrial probation for another abuse case. Despite a history of cognitive impairment from a head injury, the judge stressed the public safety threat he poses to young girls, ordering him to register as a sex offender and extending the no-contact order for 15 years.
