Latest / The Mark Simone Show / Hour 2: Should the United Nations be defunded?
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey, we'll get to Israel, we'll get to California, we'll
- 0:10Speaker 2: get to the UN and a lot more coming up.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Jimmy Falo will be with us later this hour. This
- 0:15Speaker 2: is actually it's Thursday. This is actually the first real
- 0:18Speaker 2: actual autumn day, fall day. I mean not on the calendar,
- 0:22Speaker 2: but it actually, for the first time, actually feels like fall.
- 0:26Speaker 2: It's nippy outside, it's chili. It's fifty three degrees right now.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Look at that temperature right now, fifty three. Let me see,
- 0:37Speaker 2: we'll go up to sixty degrees. That's it. It'll hit
- 0:39Speaker 2: sixty at three o'clock. Then it's right back into the fifties.
- 0:42Speaker 2: First actual fall like day to day in New York City.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So that was good news. We just heard on the
- 0:50Speaker 2: newscast about the United Nations getting rid of a quarter
- 0:53Speaker 2: twenty five percent of their forces. They call them UN
- 0:57Speaker 2: peacekeeping force. They've never kept any peace anywhere where. They're
- 1:00Speaker 2: those idiots with the blue helmets. They're the most useless
- 1:03Speaker 2: people in the world. They're blaming the US cutting funding
- 1:06Speaker 2: to the UN. Well, if you're going to defund something,
- 1:09Speaker 2: it's not the police. Defund the UN. There's nothing more
- 1:13Speaker 2: deserving of defunding than the United Nations. They are the
- 1:17Speaker 2: most useless, anti Semitic VIP lounge for dictators. Just close
- 1:22Speaker 2: the whole thing, get it out of New York. Yankees
- 1:25Speaker 2: lost last night heartbreaking. Well, you know what, it wasn't heartbreaking.
- 1:29Speaker 2: You could see it coming, couldn't you. You didn't really
- 1:33Speaker 2: think they were going to pull this off. It's not
- 1:35Speaker 2: just the same. It's not the same Yankees from years ago.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Outside of a couple of players, it's not Yankee quality now.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Bad Bunny was at the game three rows back behind
- 1:47Speaker 2: home plate and at one point when they all when
- 1:50Speaker 2: they sang God Bless America, and the whole audience stood.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Pictures show Bad Bunny did not stand during God Bless America.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I don't know what's wrong with this guy. He's not
- 2:02Speaker 2: He's a great musically, he's great, and if you saw
- 2:05Speaker 2: him host Saturday Night Live, it's quite a charming guy.
- 2:07Speaker 2: He's good. He was great as a host of Saturday
- 2:09Speaker 2: Night Live. But he's a crazy left wing guy and
- 2:15Speaker 2: he's got that deep hatred of ice. He doesn't want
- 2:18Speaker 2: he doesn't want the laws enforced. You know, basically, ice
- 2:21Speaker 2: is just law enforcement throwing illegals out of the country
- 2:25Speaker 2: that are here illegally. That's the law. He's supposed to
- 2:28Speaker 2: do that. But you know, the left wing nuts, the
- 2:34Speaker 2: bad Bunny, I guess is now one of them. They
- 2:36Speaker 2: decide what laws they want enforced, what laws they don't
- 2:38Speaker 2: want enforced, and illegals running all over the place. They
- 2:42Speaker 2: love that for whatever reasons. But he apparently caused now.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I don't know what he's up to. You know, sometimes
- 2:49Speaker 2: sometimes they're just left wing cooks, and sometimes especially when
- 2:52Speaker 2: they're in the entertainment world, sometimes they're just calculating the
- 2:57Speaker 2: whole thing. They got spreadsheets. They're calculating if I appeal
- 3:01Speaker 2: more to the left wing wackos, will I be more popular,
- 3:04Speaker 2: will I sell more songs? Well, it could be a
- 3:07Speaker 2: little calculation on this part.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Hey.
- 3:10Speaker 2: The New Jersey debate was last night. It's very, very
- 3:13Speaker 2: very close. Chittarelly's not the greatest candidate in the world.
- 3:16Speaker 2: He should win, he'd be the better governor. But something
- 3:20Speaker 2: about him, he's not the best candidate. Something a little
- 3:24Speaker 2: off putting about him. But he took on Mikey Cheryl.
- 3:28Speaker 2: It was rough debate. They really went after each other.
- 3:32Speaker 2: It was civil, but it was tough. They were both
- 3:36Speaker 2: tough on each other. She had a big lead over him.
- 3:39Speaker 2: She's lost the lead in the most recent polls. Chitarelly
- 3:42Speaker 2: is caught up to her. And again, those poles are
- 3:45Speaker 2: generally slanted and rigged against Republicans, so if he's tied
- 3:50Speaker 2: in the polls, he's probably ahead. So she's a little nervous.
- 3:53Speaker 2: She was changing her tone on a lot of issues.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Here's some of the last night's debate.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Then he was paid to develop an app so that
- 4:00Speaker 4: people who are addicted could more easily get access.
- 4:02Speaker 2: He worked for a drug company for a while. When
- 4:05Speaker 2: he went back to the private sex, something with a
- 4:07Speaker 2: drug company was putting some drug out there. She kept
- 4:09Speaker 2: going after him for that.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Then he was paid to develop an app so that
- 4:13Speaker 4: people who were addicted could more easily get access to opioids.
- 4:17Speaker 4: And so as he made millions, as these opioid companies
- 4:21Speaker 4: made billions, tens of thousands of New Jersey ands.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Died, mister Chilly.
- 4:27Speaker 1: First of all, shame on you. Second of all, shame
- 4:32Speaker 1: on you, sir, Shame on you.
- 4:34Speaker 6: During the Bidy administration, she had no problem whatsoever with
- 4:37Speaker 6: tens of thousands of people crashing our border each and
- 4:39Speaker 6: every day, not knowing.
- 4:41Speaker 1: What impact they had in our communities.
- 4:42Speaker 6: With regard to fentanyl crisis, fetanyl abuse, fetanyl distribution, vaccination rates,
- 4:48Speaker 6: and alike, talk to your local police, talk to your
- 4:50Speaker 6: county prosecutes. In New Jersey, since the border has been secured,
- 4:54Speaker 6: fetanyl crisis has decreased significantly.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't say he won that round. I mean,
- 5:00Speaker 2: she's wrong on the fentanyl, but he's wrong on the opiate.
- 5:03Speaker 2: She kind of got him on that one. That round
- 5:06Speaker 2: I don't think helped him. Here's more.
- 5:07Speaker 6: With regard to everything she just said about my professional career,
- 5:10Speaker 6: which provided my family, it's a lie.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I'm proud of my career.
- 5:13Speaker 4: You get thirty second, I'm happy to publish the information.
- 5:16Speaker 4: And here's the fact I work because I think our
- 5:19Speaker 4: kids deserve better. I think the people you got addicted
- 5:22Speaker 4: and died deserve better than you. Then I'll tell you, yeah,
- 5:26Speaker 4: tens of thousands here, as you published misinformation, as you've
- 5:29Speaker 4: got more people addicted, as you've worked to develop, got
- 5:32Speaker 4: paid to develop an app so that more people could
- 5:35Speaker 4: get more opioids and die. But here's the fact college, I,
- 5:38Speaker 4: even during even.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I got the walk at my college, and I'm.
- 5:42Speaker 4: So glad that you then went on to kill tens
- 5:44Speaker 4: of thousands of people in New Jersey, including chi as
- 5:47Speaker 4: they got just wrote the law. In fact, your campaign
- 5:50Speaker 4: right now is under federal investigation for how you illegally
- 5:53Speaker 4: got access to my records, so to say that right now,
- 5:56Speaker 4: and I think you're trying to divert from the fact
- 5:58Speaker 4: that you killed tens of thousands of people, broke the wall.
- 6:02Speaker 2: She kind of got him on that one. You know,
- 6:04Speaker 2: he said, you didn't walk in your graduation. There was
- 6:07Speaker 2: a cheating scandal at the Naval Academy, and she refused
- 6:11Speaker 2: to name whoever she knew was cheating, and as a result,
- 6:14Speaker 2: she could not walk in the graduation. But I mean,
- 6:17Speaker 2: that's pretty bad, but it's not as bad as selling opioid,
- 6:20Speaker 2: going to work for an opioid company, putting on an
- 6:22Speaker 2: app that leads people to hope. She kind of got
- 6:24Speaker 2: him on that one. The other thing he's referring to
- 6:27Speaker 2: of the stock trades, she's very sleazy on that. As
- 6:31Speaker 2: a member of Congress, she was engaged in all kinds
- 6:33Speaker 2: of insider trading, which is legal. They're allowed to do
- 6:36Speaker 2: insider trading. In Congress, they get word ahead of everybody
- 6:39Speaker 2: else about test results of who's going to get a contract,
- 6:42Speaker 2: who's going to get a ruling, and you can make
- 6:44Speaker 2: you can make a fortune trading stock. So she made
- 6:47Speaker 2: seven million trading stocks and then tried to deny it.
- 6:51Speaker 2: But as sleazy as that is, it's typical. Everybody in
- 6:54Speaker 2: Congress is doing it. So but the opioid thing, that
- 6:57Speaker 2: doesn't sound good. Now, then she tried to connect him
- 7:01Speaker 2: to Trump. You know you're a Trump supporter. Will you
- 7:04Speaker 2: denounced Trump? Will you do this because she thinks that's
- 7:06Speaker 2: going to win over votes for her. But here's a
- 7:09Speaker 2: bit of that.
- 7:09Speaker 6: I disagree with the president on the Empire wind farm
- 7:12Speaker 6: or for Long Island. We hope that that doesn't mean
- 7:15Speaker 6: there'll be wind farms off our Jersey shore.
- 7:17Speaker 1: He's put a temporary halt on that. I will make
- 7:19Speaker 1: it permanent when I'm governor.
- 7:20Speaker 6: But let me be clear, no matter who is it's
- 7:22Speaker 6: in the White House, my job is to stand up
- 7:24Speaker 6: with a nine point three million citizens of the state,
- 7:26Speaker 6: and I weir I will I will fiercely advocate for
- 7:29Speaker 6: them at all times.
- 7:31Speaker 2: All right, But she kept going after.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Mon Trump he's shown zero science was standing up to
- 7:36Speaker 4: this president. In fact, the President himself called Jack one
- 7:38Speaker 4: hundred percent mega, and he's shown every side sign of
- 7:41Speaker 4: being that. He said it's his job to support the
- 7:44Speaker 4: President of the United States.
- 7:46Speaker 2: See that's good talk for Democrats. He's this guy, this
- 7:49Speaker 2: guy's mega. Oh god, he wants to make America great. WHOA,
- 7:54Speaker 2: that's just awful. He won't stand up to the president
- 7:57Speaker 2: on what and what fighting crime? Ending the war is?
- 8:02Speaker 2: What are you supposed to stand up to them? Here's Chidarelli,
- 8:05Speaker 2: you speaking of crime.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And we're going to be in law and order state again.
- 8:08Speaker 6: We do that by not having sanctuary cities, and we
- 8:10Speaker 6: do that by reforming bail reform Bill cash list bail
- 8:13Speaker 6: has created a professional criminal in New Jersey who's learned
- 8:17Speaker 6: how to gain the system. Talk to your local police
- 8:19Speaker 6: about arrest release repeal. My opponent has not said a
- 8:23Speaker 6: word about getting rid of sanctuary cities, the Immigrant Trust Directive.
- 8:26Speaker 1: She's not set a word about reforming bail reform.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that no bail note jail that Cuomo gave us.
- 8:32Speaker 2: That is the worst thing in the world, and they
- 8:35Speaker 2: do have it in New Jersey.
- 8:36Speaker 4: I'm the only one who's actually worked closely with law
- 8:39Speaker 4: enforcement prosecuting cases to keep dangerous people off the streets.
- 8:43Speaker 4: I'm very proud of my record there, and I continue
- 8:47Speaker 4: to push forward in that work. So I've worked with
- 8:49Speaker 4: all of the police chiefs in my district on our
- 8:51Speaker 4: auto thefts to make sure we had license plate readers
- 8:54Speaker 4: federally funded so we could drive down the rash of
- 8:56Speaker 4: auto thefts. So again and again and again, I've worked
- 8:59Speaker 4: on public.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Say yeah, but doesn't mean you were any good at it.
- 9:04Speaker 2: That doesn't mean you did the right thing when it
- 9:05Speaker 2: comes to that. That's the problem. You know that no bail,
- 9:08Speaker 2: no jail. That was the worst thing ever. Let the
- 9:12Speaker 2: criminals out. No bail, no jail. It was Cuomo that
- 9:15Speaker 2: pushed it. It's Cuomo back then. He didn't just sign it.
- 9:19Speaker 2: He pushed for no bail, no jail. Take a listen
- 9:22Speaker 2: to Cuomo as governor. It's just the worst thing in
- 9:26Speaker 2: the world. He's pushing this, no bail, not jail.
- 9:28Speaker 7: You're black or white, that's whether you're richer or We're
- 9:32Speaker 7: gonna end the cast bail system.
- 9:34Speaker 8: Once and for all.
- 9:35Speaker 7: We're going to do it in New York, and we're
- 9:38Speaker 7: gonna do it this year. We have to have moral
- 9:44Speaker 7: alternatives to incarceration, strength timelines on court dates, and we
- 9:49Speaker 7: have to eliminate the racial bias that is pervasive in
- 9:54Speaker 7: our criminal justice system. As governor of the State of
- 9:57Speaker 7: New York, I can't tell you how proud I am
- 10:02Speaker 7: to have closed more prisons than any governor in the
- 10:06Speaker 7: history of the state. And I'm not done yet.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, he's just an absolute left wing kook. As governor, hiss,
- 10:14Speaker 2: no bail, no jail. Now, he's the guy that caused
- 10:17Speaker 2: the crime wave in a number of ways. Of the
- 10:19Speaker 2: no bail, no jail, the closing prisons, letting the prisoners loose,
- 10:25Speaker 2: taken away, the qualified immunity from cops. That means they
- 10:28Speaker 2: can be personally sued by anybody they approach, so they
- 10:31Speaker 2: have to approach less people. Now no bail, no jail
- 10:35Speaker 2: that Cuomo gave us. Look at this case. Here's a
- 10:39Speaker 2: perfect result. This happened this week. He got a maniac
- 10:43Speaker 2: on the subway with a big sword. He's wielding a
- 10:47Speaker 2: huge sword. He's a guy with twenty three priors. Oh
- 10:51Speaker 2: excuse me, thirty three priors. Thirty three priors. But it's
- 10:56Speaker 2: no bail, no jail, He's free to roam the streets.
- 10:59Speaker 2: He's deranged. He's got a rap sheet a mile long.
- 11:02Speaker 2: He's on the subway. He takes out his sword. He
- 11:06Speaker 2: beats a guy to a pulp. An older man savagely
- 11:09Speaker 2: beats Some sources said he attacked the sixty four year
- 11:13Speaker 2: old victim in the subway station. He said it was
- 11:16Speaker 2: a shockingly brutal attack, pummeling his face, stomping on his
- 11:19Speaker 2: head fifteen times. The beating lasted ten minutes, and at
- 11:24Speaker 2: the end of ten minutes, he took the victim's wallet
- 11:26Speaker 2: and ID, which delayed the identification by the police. Left
- 11:31Speaker 2: him unconscious, battered. The man died roughly an hour later.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Now this is the guy that got out on no bail,
- 11:37Speaker 2: note jail, despite thirty three prior arrests. Why did he
- 11:43Speaker 2: beat the guy so much? What started this? He said,
- 11:46Speaker 2: I don't like the way he looked at me. A
- 11:49Speaker 2: witnesses say he held the door open for this guy
- 11:53Speaker 2: to come in. The old man held the door open
- 11:55Speaker 2: for this guy to come in, but the guy didn't
- 11:57Speaker 2: like the way he looked at him. So, but this
- 11:59Speaker 2: is the result of this no bail, no jail. Unbelievable
- 12:03Speaker 2: that Cuomo pushed this on us. Now he's trying to
- 12:05Speaker 2: defend the no bail, no Jail. You've seen him do
- 12:07Speaker 2: interviews this week. There was one yesterday, Good Day in
- 12:10Speaker 2: New York and he said, well, though lots of states
- 12:13Speaker 2: have the no bail, no jail, yeah, there are a
- 12:16Speaker 2: lot of other states that haven't, and in every single
- 12:19Speaker 2: one it caused a massive crime wave. It was a
- 12:22Speaker 2: disaster everywhere. And that's the thing with Mam Donnie. You know,
- 12:25Speaker 2: like most Champagne socialists, they're pushing ideas and plans that
- 12:29Speaker 2: have failed everywhere in the world every time they've been tried. Now,
- 12:34Speaker 2: Hokeel's got a real problem here. Hochel's in big trouble.
- 12:37Speaker 2: She's dropping in the polls as a result of her
- 12:40Speaker 2: support for Mom Donnie. Now there's other things besides Endorsingum.
- 12:45Speaker 2: He's got this crazy idea of taking control away from
- 12:48Speaker 2: the police commissioner for disciplinary actions. He wants to hand
- 12:53Speaker 2: it to the what do you call that, the criminal
- 12:55Speaker 2: citizen criminal citizen review Board. Well as may you can
- 13:00Speaker 2: stack that with the most left wing communists or anybody
- 13:03Speaker 2: you want, and that way, no cop is protected So
- 13:07Speaker 2: if a cop has nobody to watch his back, nobody
- 13:10Speaker 2: to protect him, he's not going to do anything. He's
- 13:13Speaker 2: not going to approach any crime. He's just going to
- 13:15Speaker 2: run and hide the whole time. Who can blame him?
- 13:18Speaker 2: But will Hokeel step in on that? She says, well,
- 13:23Speaker 2: we'll talk about it. I'll talk about it, Hokeel said
- 13:26Speaker 2: on MSNBC. Listen, nothing's going to happen in this city
- 13:30Speaker 2: without me being aware of it and involved. Hokeel did
- 13:35Speaker 2: say she's firmly pushing Mom Donnie to keep the current
- 13:40Speaker 2: NYPD commissioner, Jessica Tish when he wins. Now, everybody likes
- 13:44Speaker 2: Jessica Tish good police commissioner. So she says she's pushing
- 13:47Speaker 2: him to keep. Now we know we've seen it already
- 13:50Speaker 2: in a couple of cases. Mom Donnie never listens to Hokeel.
- 13:54Speaker 2: He totally dismisses her and doesn't care what she has
- 13:56Speaker 2: to say. So, how do you stop this guy? Well,
- 13:59Speaker 2: a week from tonight. One week from tonight is the
- 14:02Speaker 2: mayoral debate. If Curtis can be amazing in that debate,
- 14:06Speaker 2: or something bad happens with Mam Donni in the debate,
- 14:09Speaker 2: that could turn it all around. That could change things.
- 14:12Speaker 2: The other thing is they're still working in Washington looking
- 14:17Speaker 2: into Mam Donnie's money. Tens and tens and millions of
- 14:21Speaker 2: dollars have flown in to his campaign. A lot of
- 14:25Speaker 2: it they think has come from foreign sources. If they
- 14:27Speaker 2: can trace foreign money directly into Mam Donnie's campaign, they
- 14:31Speaker 2: can take him out of the race. They can eliminate
- 14:33Speaker 2: him from the race. The other thing going on, and
- 14:36Speaker 2: I've heard this now from a Justice Department official, if
- 14:40Speaker 2: Mom Donnie does anything anti semitic as mayor anything anti semitic,
- 14:47Speaker 2: they can come in and remove him, or arrest him
- 14:51Speaker 2: or charge him with hate crime. The Department of Justice
- 14:54Speaker 2: is looking at that. There's all kinds of laws against
- 14:56Speaker 2: discrimination and hate crime, friese. Anything anti semitic, they will
- 15:02Speaker 2: do everything they can to block them. Hey, Bill Belichick,
- 15:07Speaker 2: looks like they're trying to get rid of him at that.
- 15:09Speaker 2: That college doesn't want him anymore. The school has had,
- 15:12Speaker 2: they say, preliminary conversations about firing Belichick. They can't stand
- 15:17Speaker 2: the twenty four year old girlfriend who's bossing everybody around.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Jordan Hudson. The complication is if you get rid of Belichick.
- 15:24Speaker 2: There's a twenty million dollar buyout. They are looking at
- 15:29Speaker 2: alleged rules violations. If they can prove violations of their rules,
- 15:33Speaker 2: that will get rid of the twenty million dollars half buyout.
- 15:36Speaker 2: They can get rid of that. There's all kinds of
- 15:38Speaker 2: rules they could look for. Things have gotten so bad.
- 15:41Speaker 2: You know. Hulu was doing a documentary on the school
- 15:43Speaker 2: and Belichick. The school canceled it. They don't want anything
- 15:47Speaker 2: to do with it. His record is the coach there?
- 15:50Speaker 2: Not good at all? They're two and three. Listen, he
- 15:54Speaker 2: was only great because Brady was there. I mean, it
- 15:57Speaker 2: was pretty obvious. Who is the real spark behind the Patriots?
- 16:03Speaker 2: Was it Brady? Was it Belichick? Well, Brady left and
- 16:06Speaker 2: he goes to Tampa, nothing team, and he wins the
- 16:09Speaker 2: Super Bowl with them. Belichick without Brady doesn't win a
- 16:12Speaker 2: damn thing anywhere. He goes. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten gets.
- 16:24Speaker 6: In access to Mark by setting a free set in
- 16:27Speaker 6: the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Zimone Show on wor.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:40Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Dennis
- 16:42Speaker 2: in Huntington. Dennis, how you doing him?
- 16:46Speaker 8: Mark Kelly, you good show. Thanks for having me a call.
- 16:49Speaker 8: So I'm going to put something out there in your opinion.
- 16:52Speaker 8: This great article today in the will Street channel about
- 16:56Speaker 8: the subsidies Obamacare, and it will give you examples of
- 17:00Speaker 8: people who need to pay nothing and they're making a
- 17:02Speaker 8: lot of money too. Just won't business just you know,
- 17:05Speaker 8: a lot of people pay monthly premiums for health insurance
- 17:08Speaker 8: and I'm looking at these numbers. I'm woud these numbers
- 17:10Speaker 8: are pretty well for people making.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but I know Obamacare, a lot of people are
- 17:14Speaker 2: paying very high amounts, ridiculous amounts. They called it the
- 17:16Speaker 2: Affordable Care Act, but it turned out not to be
- 17:19Speaker 2: so affordable. One of the things that Republicans want to
- 17:22Speaker 2: do is clean up the roles of who's on it.
- 17:25Speaker 2: You got a lot of dead people on it. Apparently
- 17:27Speaker 2: when somebody dies, somebody else can take their zip code
- 17:31Speaker 2: and continue the not the social Security number, and continue
- 17:36Speaker 2: the coverage that stuff like that. You got a lot
- 17:39Speaker 2: of illegals on there. I know Democrats will say no, illegals,
- 17:42Speaker 2: they're not allowed on it. Well, there's many ways around that,
- 17:44Speaker 2: and that's one of the things Republicans want to want
- 17:47Speaker 2: to clean up. Let's go to Lauren in New Jersey. Lauren,
- 17:51Speaker 2: how you doing? Yeah?
- 17:53Speaker 9: Hey, Mark, Hey, you know. Yeah, no amount of healthcare
- 17:56Speaker 9: is going to help a deceased individual. But in case
- 18:00Speaker 9: anyone needs any more evidence about Trump arrangements syndrome being
- 18:04Speaker 9: a real thing. Yeah, well, okay. So Trump has been
- 18:08Speaker 9: able to orchestrate a peace deal with the Middle East,
- 18:12Speaker 9: and yet the Democrats, the progressive Democrats, are unwilling to
- 18:17Speaker 9: negotiate for this country and do the right thing for
- 18:21Speaker 9: this country.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Yeah, well, all that I do is just sign that
- 18:23Speaker 2: seven week extension, then go back to work. Where are
- 18:26Speaker 2: you in New Jersey? Where do you live in New Jersey?
- 18:30Speaker 9: I'm out past Morris County.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Oh, a little vague there. You don't want to say
- 18:35Speaker 2: exactly where. Wait, I'm out past this county? Are you
- 18:38Speaker 2: Are you on the lamb or something?
- 18:41Speaker 9: Uh?
- 18:43Speaker 2: Okay, Well you don't have to answer to answer.
- 18:48Speaker 9: I'm in a beautiful air in a beautiful area of
- 18:51Speaker 9: New Jersey and watching the leaves change.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I got it. You're somewhere you're not supposed to be
- 18:55Speaker 2: right now. All right, that's okay, good luck to you.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Let's go to a veto in Staten Island. Veto. How
- 19:00Speaker 2: you doing? Yeah?
- 19:02Speaker 5: Hi, Mark, does I want to comment about Cuomo?
- 19:06Speaker 3: We don't lose.
- 19:07Speaker 8: He gets to keep all the funds that were contributed
- 19:10Speaker 8: to him by the high end.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you get to.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Keep the millions. That's every candidate though, you know, that's
- 19:16Speaker 2: that's everybody.
- 19:17Speaker 9: That's why he's not Yeah, I feel that's why he's
- 19:20Speaker 9: not spending his money on campaigning.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Well, he is spending some money. He's running a lot
- 19:24Speaker 2: of commercials.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Now.
- 19:26Speaker 2: The reason he doesn't campaign the problem with Cuomo. He's
- 19:32Speaker 2: the world's worst debater. He stinks in debates. He's not
- 19:35Speaker 2: much of a speaker. He still hasn't opened a campaign
- 19:39Speaker 2: office anywhere. Have you ever heard of such a thing?
- 19:43Speaker 2: The last final weeks the election, still hasn't open a
- 19:46Speaker 2: campaign office. He doesn't really have much of a schedule.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You know, if you look at Curtis's schedule, you'd faints
- 19:52Speaker 2: just looking at the schedule. He does like four hundred
- 19:54Speaker 2: appearances today a day. He goes to every borough. He's
- 19:59Speaker 2: running around doing radio shows, TV shows. He's Cuomo does nothing.
- 20:02Speaker 2: He picks and chooses. Now, in Cuomo's defense, he's extremely unpopular.
- 20:07Speaker 2: He's got so much baggage and scandal in his past
- 20:11Speaker 2: that he can't go do any interview he wants because
- 20:15Speaker 2: he can't face questions. He doesn't want to be grilled
- 20:18Speaker 2: about all the awful things he did as governor. The
- 20:20Speaker 2: nursing homes, the no bail, no jail, the closing our
- 20:24Speaker 2: nuclear plant, all the stuff he screwed up. He doesn't
- 20:26Speaker 2: want to be asked about that. And I guess the
- 20:28Speaker 2: reason he doesn't do any rallies or anything like that.
- 20:32Speaker 2: He's worried about protesters because he killed ten thousand people
- 20:36Speaker 2: in our nursing homes and they all have kids and
- 20:39Speaker 2: families and relatives that are trying to protest him. But
- 20:41Speaker 2: he deliberately doesn't do rallies so they can't show up
- 20:44Speaker 2: to protest. And that's probably the reason he doesn't have
- 20:46Speaker 2: a campaign headquarters, because he knows the protesters will be
- 20:49Speaker 2: out in front of it all day and night. Hey,
- 20:51Speaker 2: when we come back, the Great Jimmy Fayla, very funny
- 20:54Speaker 2: Jimmy Fala, He's on every night now in WR nine o'clock,
- 20:58Speaker 2: also of course on Fox News, but he'll be with
- 21:00Speaker 2: us next on seven to ten WR.
- 21:04Speaker 5: It's The Mark Simon Show on sevent TENR.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Well the Great talk show host comedian Jimmy Fayla. He
- 21:12Speaker 2: does a great show. It's on WR now every night
- 21:16Speaker 2: nine to midnight, every weeknight nine to midnight. Check it
- 21:18Speaker 2: out tonight. He also does the best late night show
- 21:21Speaker 2: on TV Saturday nights ten o'clock on the Fox News Channel.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla, How you doing?
- 21:29Speaker 3: I'm doing good. Mark.
- 21:30Speaker 5: I was thrilled to hear Trump make a deal with Hamas.
- 21:32Speaker 5: Did you hear how he got it done?
- 21:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:35Speaker 2: No? How did you get here?
- 21:36Speaker 5: Yeah? Well, you know, obviously Netanyahu had been attacking the
- 21:39Speaker 5: bombing him quitty aggressively, but Trump said if they didn't sign,
- 21:42Speaker 5: he was going to send over Katie Porter and they
- 21:46Speaker 5: didn't want to tangle with her. If you saw that interview,
- 21:49Speaker 5: she's a fierce fighting force.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah, she's also the one who's doing a podcast and
- 21:53Speaker 2: somebody was in the way. Get that out of my
- 21:55Speaker 2: FN shot. But to be fair, you work on TV.
- 22:02Speaker 2: How many times through the years have you heard a
- 22:04Speaker 2: host yell at somebody like that, although she oh, I.
- 22:07Speaker 5: Got to tell you. Yeah, the thing is that the
- 22:10Speaker 5: thing is, I know it goes on. But what you
- 22:13Speaker 5: see on her is that is just her vibe. Like
- 22:16Speaker 5: she wasn't yelling because someone was in her shot. She
- 22:19Speaker 5: was yelling because she yells.
- 22:21Speaker 3: I know, the.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Difference between a person who's like not happy with the
- 22:24Speaker 5: way things are going and a person who is just
- 22:26Speaker 5: not happy.
- 22:29Speaker 3: She kind of has that energy.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's a Democrat. Will she get out of
- 22:34Speaker 2: the race? I guess she has to now.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 22:38Speaker 5: The other guy didn't drop out for saying he wants
- 22:39Speaker 5: to kill his opponent. I don't know what Barr is
- 22:44Speaker 5: actually probably not. I mean, I guess her biggest crime
- 22:47Speaker 5: is she didn't say it in the text message.
- 22:49Speaker 3: No, I don't know. I don't know.
- 22:51Speaker 2: That could be. Hey, Jimmy Fayler, were you at the
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yankee game last night?
- 22:56Speaker 1: You better believe it.
- 22:58Speaker 3: And you know what I noticed.
- 23:00Speaker 5: It's Yankee Stadium obviously, Uh, you know, tough loss. We
- 23:03Speaker 5: wanted to win that game. And I have formerly called
- 23:06Speaker 5: now that Toronto beat US. I have called Trump and
- 23:08Speaker 5: demanded that he invade Canada, which I think should happen
- 23:12Speaker 5: two hundred percent tariffs whatever we got.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Uh but but you kind of could see that coming,
- 23:18Speaker 2: couldn't you. The law?
- 23:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean this, this, this team has been pretty
- 23:23Speaker 5: inconsistent all year. I mean, but what do you want
- 23:26Speaker 5: for three hundred and twenty million dollars? You know, it's
- 23:28Speaker 5: like maybe if we were giving these guys some money.
- 23:31Speaker 5: You know, it's like these guys got enough stress from
- 23:34Speaker 5: trying to live on those forty million dollars salaries. It's like,
- 23:38Speaker 5: you know, when when's there said one of the salad days,
- 23:41Speaker 5: going to come in for the for Anthony Fulty and
- 23:44Speaker 5: that supermodel girlfriend is you.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Know, hey, I was the game was over, but I
- 23:49Speaker 2: didn't know it was over. Like he struck out the
- 23:51Speaker 2: guys is that two outset? The crowd was just silent,
- 23:54Speaker 2: There was no What was it like in the stadium?
- 23:56Speaker 2: Did everybody just silently file out?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 23:59Speaker 5: Well, in my section, I was in right field, and
- 24:02Speaker 5: I don't know, I don't know if you know this,
- 24:04Speaker 5: but everyone in right field drinks like they're pledging a fraternity. Okay,
- 24:09Speaker 5: So in my section, the rest of the stadium was,
- 24:12Speaker 5: as you just said, it was like a seance, okay,
- 24:15Speaker 5: but my section continued to hurl profanities at the other
- 24:20Speaker 5: players even after they have left. Like if you ever
- 24:23Speaker 5: you ever walk down the street and see a guy
- 24:25Speaker 5: arguing with a parking meter, This guy's.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Out to lunch.
- 24:29Speaker 5: That was Section one oh five and Yankee Stadium last night.
- 24:32Speaker 5: They were lunatics crazy. But the one nice thing is
- 24:35Speaker 5: on the way out, you know, everybody was in a
- 24:39Speaker 5: bad enough mood that I didn't have to stop and
- 24:41Speaker 5: take a bunch of you know, like fifty pictures. There's
- 24:44Speaker 5: a lot of Fox fans at Yankee Stadium, and everybody
- 24:47Speaker 5: is I'm very friendly. I love, genuinely love meeting people,
- 24:51Speaker 5: but I'm bad at unmeeting them. Meaning if someone comes
- 24:54Speaker 5: up to me and says, well they watch the show.
- 24:55Speaker 5: I talked to them for thirteen minutes and I get
- 24:56Speaker 5: home at two in the morning and my wife.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Thinks I was in a gentleman club or something.
- 25:01Speaker 5: And I'm like, no, I was actually hanging out with
- 25:02Speaker 5: a fifty year old man who was wearing a baseball myth.
- 25:05Speaker 5: The complete opposite of getting women.
- 25:08Speaker 7: Uh.
- 25:10Speaker 2: You know, when those fans come up to you, you can't stop.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I mean, you can talk and say nice things, but
- 25:14Speaker 2: you got to keep moving. You can't stop or your corner.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I know you got to. You gotta learn that.
- 25:18Speaker 3: But listen, I been. I haven't been.
- 25:20Speaker 5: I haven't been like a public figure for as long
- 25:22Speaker 5: as you've been a famous person.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Like I watched.
- 25:25Speaker 5: I've watched you get in and out of Fox a
- 25:26Speaker 5: few times. Now, you're good at it. I'm learning and
- 25:28Speaker 5: it helped. I was on the road with Hannity.
- 25:30Speaker 3: It helped too.
- 25:31Speaker 5: I think that's why he learned karate, because you know,
- 25:33Speaker 5: I'm so tired of getting groped by these old ladies
- 25:35Speaker 5: at the book signings. He just busts out around out.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Hannity's the best at getting out, you know, through the
- 25:39Speaker 2: service entrance, out the the loading dock. He was perfect.
- 25:43Speaker 2: So you got to do that. But well, when you're
- 25:45Speaker 2: that big, you got to do that kind of stuff. Hey,
- 25:48Speaker 2: uh uh what AOC? I love that fight AOC had
- 25:52Speaker 2: with Stephen Miller and she said, well, he's only four
- 25:55Speaker 2: foot eleven.
- 25:56Speaker 1: What the hell is she talking about?
- 25:58Speaker 5: You know, I laughed about that groom. I tweeted this too,
- 26:01Speaker 5: forgive me, but you know, she said he was four
- 26:04Speaker 5: foot ten. He's five foot ten, so I said, this
- 26:07Speaker 5: is actually progress. She was only off by a foot
- 26:09Speaker 5: on his height, where she was off by forty miles
- 26:12Speaker 5: when she said.
- 26:13Speaker 3: She grew up in the Bronx. That was really think
- 26:16Speaker 3: about that.
- 26:17Speaker 2: That's a pretty big lie about a tough kid from
- 26:19Speaker 2: the Bronx. Turns out to she's from Yorktown Heights, which
- 26:21Speaker 2: is a beautiful overb.
- 26:23Speaker 5: A one, a gorgeous suburb. A one hundred and fifty
- 26:27Speaker 5: five dollars cab ride from the Bronx.
- 26:30Speaker 3: If you were to leave.
- 26:31Speaker 5: The Bronx like one hundred and sixty second in River
- 26:33Speaker 5: Avenue by Yankee Stadium and drive to Yorktown Heights, you're
- 26:36Speaker 5: going to pay one hundred and fifty five dollars. Now,
- 26:38Speaker 5: if there's if it's if you know surge pricing, Uber's
- 26:41Speaker 5: going to charge your.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Four thy three hundred and twelve dollars. But uh, a
- 26:45Speaker 3: taxi a taxi one fifty five.
- 26:47Speaker 5: So yeah, the enormity of that front, Like, you know,
- 26:49Speaker 5: it's bad when Elizabeth Warren's calling you a fraud in
- 26:53Speaker 5: her teepee, that's not good.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of cab rights, you know this new lift
- 26:58Speaker 2: what it's a new policy where you know the driver
- 27:00Speaker 2: can see your rating. Now the driver can see your
- 27:03Speaker 2: tipping history to see how you tip.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 27:05Speaker 2: Is that fair?
- 27:07Speaker 5: That's well, I could tell you this. I think it's
- 27:10Speaker 5: not accurate because I don't tip on the app. I
- 27:13Speaker 5: give them cash. So it's really interesting. My passenger rating
- 27:18Speaker 5: is five stars because I tip these guys. Like I said,
- 27:20Speaker 5: I have survivors guilt from being a cab driver, so
- 27:23Speaker 5: I tip. I tip cab drivers to the point that
- 27:26Speaker 5: they think I'm romantically interested in them.
- 27:28Speaker 3: They're like, wow, this is wow. I must have really
- 27:31Speaker 3: hit it off with their Scott. I'm giving them.
- 27:32Speaker 5: Everything I have though I have a five star uber rating,
- 27:36Speaker 5: but what you just said had never dawned on me.
- 27:37Speaker 5: I've never tipped on the app once.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Oh but they give you.
- 27:40Speaker 5: A good rating just because you've tipped cash just the same.
- 27:43Speaker 5: So I don't know if they can accurately do it
- 27:45Speaker 5: unless the guys have to enter, which they probably don't
- 27:48Speaker 5: want to enter, that you might have gave them forty
- 27:50Speaker 5: or fifty bucks because that's more income they got to claim.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, well, a lot of passengers want this thing overturned.
- 27:56Speaker 2: They don't want this thing to exist. But if it sticks.
- 27:59Speaker 2: You got to your uber will do it next too, So.
- 28:02Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's it's the copycat medium just the same.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Hey, you got to listen to Jimmy Failey does a
- 28:07Speaker 2: great show every night nine to midnight on w o R.
- 28:10Speaker 2: It's excellent what he got on tonight.
- 28:13Speaker 5: So it says a loco. And I was supposed to
- 28:15Speaker 5: have Ted NuGen on the MotorCity mad Man. He's fired up.
- 28:18Speaker 5: He usually plays his guitar and screams at me about America.
- 28:21Speaker 5: It's always fun. We subtitled it in English at the
- 28:24Speaker 5: end of the interview it's Ted's rowdy. I love to
- 28:27Speaker 5: talk to He's rowdy. And we've got a couple of
- 28:30Speaker 5: couple of Fox girls are coming by to have a
- 28:33Speaker 5: conversation about this. Some feminist site is out. They say
- 28:36Speaker 5: Taylor Swift is secretly maga, which I think is fascinating.
- 28:41Speaker 5: But I don't know because she owns a private jet,
- 28:44Speaker 5: which is usually what the climate change people do.
- 28:47Speaker 3: You know, So she's got mega. She's more John Kerry
- 28:50Speaker 3: than anything.
- 28:51Speaker 5: She's got a private jet, So I don't know if
- 28:53Speaker 5: she's maga, but I'm excited to have the talk.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Well, there are a lot of closet Republicans in music,
- 28:58Speaker 2: and there were even a couple of MSNBC hosts who
- 29:01Speaker 2: were secretly Republicans. It was all in act, but.
- 29:05Speaker 3: I believe that.
- 29:07Speaker 2: And then Saturday Night you do It's I love that
- 29:09Speaker 2: Saturday night show. It's every Saturday night at ten o'clock
- 29:12Speaker 2: and it's too early to say what you got this
- 29:15Speaker 2: Saturday night?
- 29:15Speaker 5: Right Ronda Rowsey. Ronda Rowsey, famous WWE legend and MMA fighter.
- 29:21Speaker 5: And it's funny because our publicist said, don't make fun
- 29:24Speaker 5: of her, she'll hit you, and I said, no, it's okay.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I'm into that.
- 29:27Speaker 5: So hopefully I'm like, I get Ronda to rough me
- 29:30Speaker 5: up on the air.
- 29:31Speaker 3: He does.
- 29:31Speaker 2: It's the best late night show. It's Saturday nights at
- 29:35Speaker 2: ten o'clock on the Fox News channel, and then you
- 29:37Speaker 2: can hear him tonight every weeknight on wo R nine
- 29:40Speaker 2: to midnight. And well, you haven't you're adjusting that at
- 29:43Speaker 2: doing radio. It's fun, isn't it?
- 29:46Speaker 3: Oh? I love it.
- 29:46Speaker 5: It's a good hang because we have more time to
- 29:48Speaker 5: have this conversation. You know, TV is an assembly line. Well,
- 29:52Speaker 5: I'm talking on TV. There's a picture of a guy
- 29:55Speaker 5: coming up next with a story underneath me that has
- 29:58Speaker 5: nothing to do with either of us. There's some promotion
- 30:01Speaker 5: on the right side of the screen. TV is just
- 30:04Speaker 5: you know, it's a it's a Jackson Pollock painting. These
- 30:06Speaker 5: days it's so busy, whereas radio we just got to
- 30:09Speaker 5: talk like we probably covered seven subjects.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Yeah, you get one and you're out.
- 30:14Speaker 5: They fire you out with like a water canon so
- 30:16Speaker 5: the next guy can come in.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and you start your answer. That guy in your
- 30:18Speaker 2: ears going.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Rap rap up.
- 30:22Speaker 9: It's so true, man, I haven't said anything yet.
- 30:25Speaker 3: They're like Jimmy Phyler joins us.
- 30:27Speaker 5: Now rap.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Does he mean rap? Should? I'd like beatbox?
- 30:31Speaker 5: What does he mean by that? I haven't spoken?
- 30:34Speaker 2: Well, everybody listen. You gotta listen tonight. He does a
- 30:36Speaker 2: great show. Its every night nine to midnight. You can
- 30:38Speaker 2: hear it tonight nine to midnight on seven ten w
- 30:42Speaker 2: O or Jimmy Phyla, thanks for being with us. You're
- 30:45Speaker 2: the man Marks dude, take care. Hey, don't forget Buck
- 30:49Speaker 2: and Clay. They'll be here at noon. They do an
- 30:50Speaker 2: excellent show every day right after right after us, right
- 30:53Speaker 2: after the news at noon on seven ten wo R.
- 30:58Speaker 1: On seven ten. He's more of the marks Emosha.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Hey, so it's like the first day of fall. I
- 31:07Speaker 2: mean it was technically a couple of weeks ago, but
- 31:10Speaker 2: this is the first chilly day out there. It's a
- 31:13Speaker 2: nippy out there in the fifties today. Hey, good for
- 31:16Speaker 2: Joe Kiernan CNBC. Boy, they got some horrible people that
- 31:21Speaker 2: work on that CNBC. But Joe Kernan, Hakeem Jeffries comes
- 31:25Speaker 2: on this morning, you know it's CNBC. Figures this will
- 31:28Speaker 2: be easy, but Kernin starts giving him a hard time
- 31:30Speaker 2: about you know, all you gotta do is sign the
- 31:32Speaker 2: seven week extension. Government reopens. You got seven weeks to negotiate,
- 31:36Speaker 2: plenty of time. Won't you just do that? It's just
- 31:38Speaker 2: common sense. And it says Jeffries set their stone faced.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Well he always does that. I'm really seriously wonder he's
- 31:46Speaker 2: this guy like a robot or something, just very robotic,
- 31:49Speaker 2: stone faced all the time. Hey, we're out of time,
- 31:51Speaker 2: don't go away. Buck and Clay coming up next. They'll
- 31:54Speaker 2: be here right after the news. I'll be back tomorrow
- 31:56Speaker 2: every weekday ten to noon, or you could listen anytime
- 31:59Speaker 2: you want. Dare night just get the podcast. Then you
- 32:01Speaker 2: can listen to whatever you want, but I'll see you
- 32:03Speaker 2: tomorrow at ten, right here on seven ten Woir
