- 0:11Speaker 1: get $ 150 in lineups instantly. Well, if you watched Florida
- 0:15Speaker 1: beat Ole Miss 52-28 on Saturday, there were definitely a
- 0:18Speaker 1: lot of things that jumped out. Jaden Ball was awesome.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Duke Clark was incredible. Aaron Filo was efficient. The defense
- 0:25Speaker 1: made some huge plays. Special teams was really good again.
- 0:28Speaker 1: But if we're being honest, none of that happens the
- 0:30Speaker 1: way it did without the guys up front. Florida's offensive
- 0:33Speaker 1: line absolutely took over that football game. And today I
- 0:37Speaker 1: want to talk about a group that usually doesn't get
- 0:39Speaker 1: enough credit when things are going well, but gets all
- 0:42Speaker 1: the blame when things aren't. The offensive line. And after
- 0:45Speaker 1: what Florida did to Ole Miss on Saturday, I think
- 0:48Speaker 1: it's high time we give this group some serious attention.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Florida didn't just run the ball well. They ran for
- 0:53Speaker 1: 302 yards. They scored six rushing touchdowns. They had two
- 0:57Speaker 1: running backs go over 100 yards, and they did it
- 0:59Speaker 1: against the number four team in the country. That's not normal.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Jaden Baugh finished with 142 yards and three touchdowns. Duke
- 1:05Speaker 1: Clark had 126 yards on only 12 carries. Those two
- 1:09Speaker 1: alone combined for 268 rushing yards. And Florida finished with
- 1:14Speaker 1: 498 total yards of offense. That is domination up front.
- 1:18Speaker 1: And what I loved about it was it wasn't some
- 1:21Speaker 1: gimmicky rushing performance. Florida wasn't running reverses every other play.
- 1:25Speaker 1: They weren't living on quarterback scrambles. They weren't getting all
- 1:28Speaker 1: of their yards because Ole Miss blew a coverage somewhere.
- 1:32Speaker 1: They lined up and ran the football over and over
- 1:35Speaker 1: and over again. And Ole Miss couldn't stop it. That's
- 1:37Speaker 1: what made it so impressive. Ole Miss knew what Florida
- 1:40Speaker 1: wanted to do. Once Florida got rolling in the second half,
- 1:44Speaker 1: there was no secret. They knew Jaden Ball was getting
- 1:46Speaker 1: the ball. They knew Duke Clark was getting the ball.
- 1:48Speaker 1: They knew Florida wanted to lean on that offensive line.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And Florida did it anyway. That's when you know you've
- 1:54Speaker 1: got something, when everybody in the stadium knows what is
- 1:57Speaker 1: coming and it still works. That's a mentality. And that's
- 2:01Speaker 1: what stood out to me the most. Florida looked physical.
- 2:03Speaker 1: They looked confident. They looked like they expected to win
- 2:06Speaker 1: up front. And I don't think that's something we could
- 2:08Speaker 1: consistently say about this team over the last few years.
- 2:11Speaker 1: There were certainly good offensive linemen. There were good performances.
- 2:14Speaker 1: There were a lot of games where Florida would get
- 2:15Speaker 1: into obvious running situations. And you just weren't sure if
- 2:20Speaker 1: they were going to be able to move anybody, though.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Saturday felt completely different. Florida got stronger as the game
- 2:26Speaker 1: went on. And I think that's what maybe impressed me
- 2:28Speaker 1: very most. Ole Miss didn't wear Florida down. Florida wore
- 2:32Speaker 1: Ole Miss down. There's a huge difference there. Florida scored
- 2:35Speaker 1: touchdowns in its first five possessions the second half. Five straight.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And a huge part of that was the running game.
- 2:41Speaker 1: By the fourth quarter, it felt like Florida could hand
- 2:43Speaker 1: the ball off and get whatever it needed. And at
- 2:46Speaker 1: that point, you could see Ole Miss starting to feel it.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Florida was leaning on them. Ball was running through tackles.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Clark was breaking off big runs. And that offensive line
- 2:55Speaker 1: was creating space. Now, not every run was perfect. Not
- 2:59Speaker 1: every play was blocked perfectly. That's never going to happen.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But what stood out was how often Florida was getting
- 3:04Speaker 1: positive yards. Even when Bob didn't have a huge hole,
- 3:07Speaker 1: he wasn't getting hit three yards in the backfield every
- 3:10Speaker 1: other play. He could still get downhill. And when you've
- 3:12Speaker 1: got a back like Bob, that matters. Give him a
- 3:15Speaker 1: crease and just let him do the rest. Same thing
- 3:17Speaker 1: with Duke Clark. His 44-yard run in the fourth quarter
- 3:20Speaker 1: is a perfect example. Florida's trying to put the game away.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Ole Miss desperately needs a stop. And instead, Clark breaks
- 3:27Speaker 1: loose and gets Florida all the way down to the
- 3:29Speaker 1: five-yard line. A few plays later, Florida's back in the
- 3:32Speaker 1: end zone. That's how you break a team. And I
- 3:35Speaker 1: think that's where Phil Troutwine deserves a ton of credit.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Because when John Summerall took this job, the offensive line
- 3:41Speaker 1: was one of the biggest questions. It really was. There
- 3:43Speaker 1: were some returning pieces. There were some transfers. There were
- 3:46Speaker 1: some guys with experience, but nobody really knew what this
- 3:49Speaker 1: group was going to look like. We talked about it
- 3:50Speaker 1: all summer long. Troutwine comes back to Gainesville after coaching
- 3:54Speaker 1: at Penn State, and obviously he knows what good offensive
- 3:57Speaker 1: line plays look like. He played here. He was a
- 4:00Speaker 1: two-time captain. He was a two-time All-SEC player. He won
- 4:03Speaker 1: two titles at Florida. So when he talks about what
- 4:06Speaker 1: the standards should be for offensive line play in Gainesville,
- 4:09Speaker 1: he actually knows it because he lived it, and I
- 4:11Speaker 1: love that because if isn't somebody coming in and trying
- 4:15Speaker 1: to explain Florida football from the outside. He understands what
- 4:19Speaker 1: it's supposed to look like, what it does look like
- 4:21Speaker 1: when it's at its best. And now four games into
- 4:23Speaker 1: the season, you can already see the identity developing. Florida's
- 4:27Speaker 1: line is big, they're physical, and they're starting to play
- 4:30Speaker 1: with confidence. Najee Harris gives you veteran experience. Caden Jones
- 4:35Speaker 1: has played a lot of football too. TJ Shanahan comes
- 4:37Speaker 1: over from Penn State with Troutwine. Harrison Moore came in
- 4:40Speaker 1: from Georgia Tech to play center. Amika Ogori was another
- 4:44Speaker 1: transfer addition. This was not just a plug-and-play group where
- 4:47Speaker 1: five returning starters came back and everybody knew exactly what
- 4:50Speaker 1: they had. There was a lot of work to do.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Florida returned some experience, but the unit also got heavily
- 4:56Speaker 1: reworked this summer. Going into the season, Florida's own position
- 5:00Speaker 1: preview described it as basically a mix of new and old,
- 5:02Speaker 1: 10 returners, 10 newcomers, and a starting five that still
- 5:05Speaker 1: needed to come together. And that's why the development is
- 5:08Speaker 1: so encouraging. Offensive line is one of those positions where
- 5:12Speaker 1: chemistry really matters. It's really important. You can have five
- 5:15Speaker 1: individually talented guys and still have a bad offensive line.
- 5:18Speaker 1: They have to communicate. They have to understand what the
- 5:21Speaker 1: guy next to them is doing. They have to handle twists.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They have to handle blitzes. They have to know when
- 5:27Speaker 1: to pass something off. And maybe most importantly, when you're
- 5:30Speaker 1: running the ball, all five guys have to be working together.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And that takes time. So if Florida is already putting
- 5:36Speaker 1: together a rushing performance like this, four games into the season,
- 5:40Speaker 1: I think that's really encouraging. I also think Buster Faulkner
- 5:43Speaker 1: deserves credit here because this running game fits the personnel.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Florida's not asking its offensive linemen to do something they
- 5:50Speaker 1: can't do. They're using motion. They're using different personnel packages.
- 5:54Speaker 1: They're creating angles. But they're also letting these guys just
- 5:58Speaker 1: come off the football and hit people. And you can
- 6:01Speaker 1: tell the offensive line loves it. You can see it
- 6:03Speaker 1: after plays. You can see them helping Bob. You can
- 6:05Speaker 1: see linemen celebrating a big run. There's just a different
- 6:09Speaker 1: energy out there. Offensive linemen love running the football. If
- 6:14Speaker 1: you talk to almost any offensive lineman, they're going to
- 6:16Speaker 1: tell you that same thing. Pass protection is necessary, but
- 6:19Speaker 1: they want to go forward. They want to hit somebody.
- 6:21Speaker 1: They want to impose themselves. And Florida is giving them
- 6:25Speaker 1: a chance to do that. And that's why Saturday felt
- 6:27Speaker 1: like such an important performance. Now Florida knows something. They
- 6:31Speaker 1: know they can run the football against a quality opponent.
- 6:33Speaker 1: They did it against Auburn, and they did it again
- 6:35Speaker 1: against Ole Miss. Ball went 162 yards at Auburn. Then
- 6:39Speaker 1: he comes home and he goes for 142 against Ole Miss.
- 6:42Speaker 1: This isn't happening because Florida found one bad run defense.
- 6:45Speaker 1: It's becoming a pattern, and that matters with what's coming
- 6:49Speaker 1: down the stretch. Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida
- 6:54Speaker 1: is going to play some really good defensive fronts. There
- 6:57Speaker 1: will be games when throwing the football is difficult. There
- 7:00Speaker 1: will be games when Aaron Filo gets pressured. There will
- 7:02Speaker 1: be games where Florida's receivers have trouble getting open. And
- 7:05Speaker 1: those are the games where you need to be able
- 7:07Speaker 1: to say, fine, we're running the football. Stop it. We're
- 7:10Speaker 1: going to take a quick break from this video to
- 7:12Speaker 1: give some love to Summit Wealth Advisors. Many of you
- 7:14Speaker 1: know my husband, Eric, as a national champion guy on
- 7:18Speaker 1: the 2006 title team, but he has taken that winning
- 7:22Speaker 1: championship mentality and now he uses it to help you
- 7:25Speaker 1: plan for the future. Eric is a financial advisor and
- 7:28Speaker 1: he can help you get ready for retirement, plan for
- 7:32Speaker 1: maybe your retirement's 20 years from now. He can help
- 7:34Speaker 1: you set it up and make sure that you are
- 7:36Speaker 1: ready for down the road, maybe it's a year away
- 7:38Speaker 1: from now, maybe you're in the FRS or the DROP program,
- 7:41Speaker 1: he can help answer any questions you might have about
- 7:44Speaker 1: planning for the future. There's gonna be a link in
- 7:47Speaker 1: the description of this video. You can set up a
- 7:48Speaker 1: 20-minute call with him to find out if it's right
- 7:50Speaker 1: for you. Worst case scenario, you get to have a
- 7:53Speaker 1: phone call with a national champion. Best case scenario, he
- 7:56Speaker 1: helps get you set up for what you need to
- 7:58Speaker 1: have down the road so that you can retire the
- 8:00Speaker 1: way that you want to. We appreciate Summit Wealth Advisors
- 8:03Speaker 1: for all their support. If Florida can do that, that
- 8:06Speaker 1: changes the ceiling for this team. If you don't have
- 8:10Speaker 1: to be perfect at quarterback, you don't have to hit
- 8:12Speaker 1: 40-yard passes all game, you don't have to play pretty football,
- 8:15Speaker 1: you can survive bad stretches, you can shorten the clock,
- 8:18Speaker 1: you can shorten a game, and you can protect a lead.
- 8:21Speaker 1: And I think that last part is really important too.
- 8:23Speaker 1: One of the biggest differences between good teams and great
- 8:26Speaker 1: teams is the ability to finish. You get a lead
- 8:29Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter, Can you run the football when
- 8:32Speaker 1: the other team knows you're trying to run the clock?
- 8:34Speaker 1: That's hard because now they're loading the box. They don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: care about anything else. They are trying to stop the run.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And if you can still pick up first downs, that's demoralizing.
- 8:44Speaker 1: We saw some of that on Saturday. Florida gets the
- 8:46Speaker 1: ball late. Ole Miss needs the football back. And Florida's
- 8:49Speaker 1: still able to move it. Ball scores his third touchdown
- 8:52Speaker 1: with under five minutes left. And that's basically the ball game.
- 8:54Speaker 1: That's closing. That's what physical teams do. And it's also
- 8:58Speaker 1: why I think this offensive line needs a lot more
- 9:00Speaker 1: credit when we talk about Jaden Baugh. Baugh is phenomenal.
- 9:03Speaker 1: He makes guys miss. He runs through tackles. He's got
- 9:06Speaker 1: great vision. None of that is in question. But backs
- 9:10Speaker 1: don't rush for 600 yards in four games by themselves.
- 9:13Speaker 1: They need blocking. And right now, Florida's offensive line is
- 9:16Speaker 1: giving Baugh opportunities. They're giving him a chance to get
- 9:19Speaker 1: to the second level. And once Baugh gets there, well,
- 9:22Speaker 1: good luck. That's where this combination gets scary. If the
- 9:26Speaker 1: offensive line gets a hat on everybody at the first level,
- 9:29Speaker 1: now you're asking linebackers and safeties to tackle Jaden Vaughn's space.
- 9:32Speaker 1: That is a terrible job. And when you have Duke
- 9:35Speaker 1: Clark coming in behind him and averaging more than 10
- 9:37Speaker 1: yards a carry against Ole Miss, now you got a problem.
- 9:40Speaker 1: That's why I don't look at Saturday and say, man,
- 9:42Speaker 1: Jaden Vaughn had a big game. I look at Saturday
- 9:45Speaker 1: and say, Florida's running game had a big game. There's
- 9:49Speaker 1: a difference there. It wasn't just the backs. It wasn't
- 9:52Speaker 1: just the offensive line. It wasn't just the tight ends.
- 9:54Speaker 1: It wasn't just the receivers blocking downfield. It wasn't just
- 9:57Speaker 1: the play calling. It was the whole thing working together.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But it does start up front. It always does. And
- 10:04Speaker 1: I think that's where Phil Troutwine's impact is really starting
- 10:06Speaker 1: to show. This group looks well coached. They look like
- 10:10Speaker 1: they know what they're doing. And they look like they
- 10:11Speaker 1: enjoy being physical. That's exactly what Florida needed. John Summerall
- 10:16Speaker 1: came in talking about toughness and physicality and accountability. Well,
- 10:20Speaker 1: you can say those words as much as you want. Eventually,
- 10:22Speaker 1: it has to show up on the football field. It
- 10:25Speaker 1: did show up Saturday. 302 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns,
- 10:28Speaker 1: two 100-yard rushers against the number four team in the country.
- 10:32Speaker 1: That is physical football. And I think what Florida's offensive
- 10:35Speaker 1: line did against Ole Miss sent a message, not just
- 10:38Speaker 1: to Ole Miss, to the SEC. Florida is going to
- 10:42Speaker 1: run the football. They are going to be physical. And
- 10:44Speaker 1: if you want to beat them, you are going to
- 10:47Speaker 1: have to hold up for four quarters. This team doesn't
- 10:51Speaker 1: look like it's trying to trick people anymore. They look
- 10:54Speaker 1: like they want to line up and beat you. And
- 10:57Speaker 1: I'm not saying Florida's offensive line is perfect. Of course
- 10:59Speaker 1: it isn't. There will be tougher challenges down the pipeline.
- 11:02Speaker 1: There will be better pass rushers. There will be defensive
- 11:04Speaker 1: fronts that give Florida problems. That is the SEC. But
- 11:08Speaker 1: through four games, there is enough evidence now to say
- 11:11Speaker 1: that this group is becoming a strength. And honestly, I
- 11:15Speaker 1: don't know how many of us expected to be able
- 11:17Speaker 1: to say that so quickly. Before the season, we had
- 11:21Speaker 1: questions about this group, and now Florida just ran for
- 11:24Speaker 1: more than 300 yards against a top-five team. That answers
- 11:28Speaker 1: a few of those questions for sure. So when we
- 11:31Speaker 1: talk about why Florida's 4-0, and when we talk about
- 11:34Speaker 1: why Jaden Baugh is suddenly being mentioned nationally, when we
- 11:38Speaker 1: talk about why Aaron Filo looks so comfortable, when we
- 11:41Speaker 1: talk about why this offense suddenly feels sustainable— Don't forget
- 11:45Speaker 1: the guys up front because they are a huge part
- 11:47Speaker 1: of it. And if this offensive line keeps playing the
- 11:50Speaker 1: way it played against Ole Miss, Florida is going to
- 11:53Speaker 1: have a really difficult team to deal with the rest
- 11:55Speaker 1: of the season. Let me know what you guys think.
- 11:59Speaker 1: How impressed have you been with Florida's offensive line through
- 12:01Speaker 1: four games? How much credit do you give Phil Troutwine
- 12:04Speaker 1: for the way this group has come together? Let me
- 12:07Speaker 1: know down in the comments. I appreciate you guys for
- 12:10Speaker 1: tuning in. And as always, we appreciate our friends over
- 12:13Speaker 1: at PrizePix. Don't forget, download the app. If you're a

- 12:20Speaker 1: $ 150 in lineups instantly. We appreciate PrizePix for all their support.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And I appreciate you guys for tuning in. As always,
